I hope that in Hiyori's next unit event, she burns away all of the fuel inside of her which she uses to force herself to keep smiling. I hope she stops glowing, much like the sun would when it will reach the end of its lifespan. I hope that, much like a lower mass star (ie the sun), she enters the planetary nebula stage where she becomes highly unstable and the layers of her mask she donned for years gets stripped away until all that left is the core, now a ruined white dwarf. I hope that her core eventually cools down to be a black dwarf. I hope that she's devastated that she considers herself useless to her family and eden because she can no longer be their sun and what purpose does her life have now.

#i love yapping about hiyori it's like i was put on this earth to rant about fictional characters i am too attached to #ok so basically I was researching for my hiyo character study fic by reading up on the life cycle of smaller sized stars like the sun #and like it's so hiyori and her entire mindset and her burning herself up to provide nourishment and light for her moons (nagisa and jun)#and her star which currently doesn't burn as bright as her (ibara)#she's so interesting like her mindset and the way she lives radiates so much oldest daughter vibes even though she's the youngest sibling #and this seeps into how she views her relationships and love with how she calls herself the big brother of eden #ofc happyele hates her and we've got like no significant development or anything really past conquest which was 4 years ago #manifesting for her next event to be when she finally drops the mask known as tomoe hiyori #if enstars is extra generous we could get child hiyori (unfortunately no child nagisa cause jun is most likely gonna get the 4*)#like see her before she donned her mask (probably a very miserable 5 yr old)#I was also researching the effects of emotional neglect on people and one of the signs is the child acting inappropriately adult like takin #care of other kids and hiyori was basically the sole caretaker of nagisa since she taught her everything like writing

One of these days I’m gonna actually make beastly art in like his actual colors but um. I’m having fun returning to my comfy play scape lately <3

#doing shading studies on skulls for the funsies was such a tangible thing in how I do lineless art now #so like I somewhere got going drawing on index cards bc they’re less space to fill than a full page and thus less intimidating. that became #drawing silhouetted buildings and horizons against a gradient sky- I used roughly cut masking tape to have clean sun/moon and if I wanted #other clean lines. while I was staying w my grandma for a while I went oh shit I could do this digitally and that’s when I started getting #into digital art outside of just tracing photos exclusively. started playing with silly doodles digitally and somewhere along the line #wanted to draw teeth bc why not. struggled and didn’t like the result- tried again a few days in a row. liked how I’d improved but wasn’t #satisfied. so I saved an image of a skull lowered the opacity and originally was gonna trace the teeth but that got boring so like. I used #white to mark out the brightest points on the skull. a light grey for the next brightest. rinse and repeat until the whole thing is covered #and I’d do that for ages. like a year or two I think. I’d done other art too but the skulls and doing the same process with selfies was a #fun way to burn a lot of time and to just. have an ongoing project I could return to. a ways FURTHER down the line I was like ah damn. I’m #real happy with these but since I just grabbed images off whatever search engine idk if it’s ok for me to post these especially since I #wouldn’t even know who to credit anymore. so eventually I just sorta. stopped #but ummmm if u hit me up I can send u some of my skull study whatever’s and u can peek at how I mean they massively affected my process and #how I shade and stuff. that was like my whole learning process with shading outside of like. do line under the chin and the simplest things #that follow that train of thought. those skulls 🤝 buddy. rewired my brain and I’m vibin w it

In other news, I got roasted in the sun for the first time in like years doing a job and I'm 👌 close to taping my hands together so I don't scratch the mild but slightly rashy sunburn/sun hives I have going on 😭😭😭

#i just want to build patience lmao here's hoping i build enough to get into higher grades #i dont get how i got burned like granted my sunblock was SUPER expired so i threw it out #and wore long sleeves pants and one of those fishing hates with the lil mullet to block the sun from my neck #and still my poor forehead cheeks and right ear/temples are ITTCCHYY kenejendksk #ran out of fucking aloe gel toooooo cause my stupid dad a while ago #luckily i saved some serum from one of my aloe sheet masks in the fridge and its helped lol
