The struggle having autism and being a writer is real. You be searching for hours on Google, trying to figure out what a certain feeling/emotion is, because you can't identify emotions yourself, so Google becomes your best friend and dictionary.

put a finger down if in middle school/early high school when asked what your 5 year or 10 year plan was you would just give a canned response or said "idk" because you like actually, genuinely thought that you were going to kill yourself by then and you didn't even think for a second that you could be a functional adult because all you ever really knew how to do was endure and survive the horrors rather than live an actual life and never thought to develop Adult skills and now that you ARE the adult that you never thought you were going to be, you have no real motivation to do anything or be anyone because you really, truly and genuinely believed that you should be dead by now and have no drive or will to do anything or succeed as human being because you never even considered adult life to be a possibility. more like a theory or a backup plan if you didn't end up killing yourself. put a finger down if you're nerodivergent

Nerodivergant things I think Ninjago characters have:
Lloyd
Paces when nervous [cannon].
Drums and taps his fingers.
Chews on things.
Humming stim. (And it's not singing either its just repetitive one note hums)
Has a weighted blanket.
Kai
Lights hands on fire for visual stim.
No volume control, always loud.
Affection punches.
Jumping stim, usually when excited or hyping himself up.
Cole
Won't eat gritty textures.
Hugs for emotional regulation.
Drums on anything.
Has dysgraphia. [Inability/struggle to write coherently]
Little strength control, usually puts more force than needed into something.
Zane
Sensory processing disorder.
He's canonically autistic so his cannon traits apply.
Has echolalia.
HATES creaky noises.
Blunted affect; [a struggle to express emotions outwardly]
Jay
Has tics, and a stutter. [One of those tics is tossing whatever he is holding behind him]
Echopraxia [involuntarily mimics others actions, this especially applies to the others stimming.]
Starfarer IS a cannon autistic hyperfixation.
Nya
ADHD, specifically these traits: hyperfocuses on tasks and forgets needs/enviroment, misplaces objects, restless, low frustration tolerance.
Also affection punches.
Sounds angry, all the time, usually isn't.
Can't identify if she's hungry, thirsty, tired, or bored.
Formally, an AuDHD person.

I think all jesters should be of the fae
NOW HEAR ME OUT.
Back in this well, time frame of jesters, Nerodivergent children, were often calls children of the fae, for their odd behaviors, and likings (to what almost exclusively included nature at the time), social awkwardness, and all the sorts. If you had dwarfism, or any thing outside of the "normal" as a child, you were either of Satan(in which you were often killed I do believe), or of the fae, where you were just seen as a fucking weirdo
Yknow who also normally grew up to be jesters durring this time?
THATS RIGHT, NERODIVERGENT PEOPLE.
Their disorders often seen as comical, and were almost exclusively hired, for that Nerodivergent behavior, or dawfism, or, any of that, ok
What I'm saying here, is the jesters of the time are part fae, Nerodivergent fae, born of human parents to live a comical life of their own personal downfall, where everything they say is either not to be trusted because they are a child of the fae, or to be laughed at and not taken seriously

Jamie is not an idiot for thinking password is spelled with one “s” he’s just dyslexic (ok maybe he’s a bit of both)
There are other moments throughout the series that confirm this I promise.

I find it so weird that i, a neurodivergent, find certain things rude and disrespectful when it's completely normal and not at all looked down upon by neurotypicals, while stuff i find completely normal and socially acceptable is apparently breaking some socially constructed law and i'll be wished death upon for a thousand years and my entire bloodline will be cursed and condemned to torture in hell for all eternity if i do said thing.

People don’t realize that it is exhausting having to make yourself smaller to make other people feel more comfortable with themselves. So when I say “I’m tired”, I don’t mean physically, I mean that I am tired of trying to fit myself into a mold that wasn’t meant for me.

I just so tired of living with this constant feeling of burn out while everyone wants something from me all the time I can rarely unmask and be myself even at home and I feel like I'm going to collapse at any given moment. I want to scream and punch the wall and I wish I could cry my heart out but i can't I'm to broken inside to cry anymore. Fuck this society that makes Nerodivergent people feel like shit for just existing
