People never seem to want to hang out at animal habitats. If they can’t see something immediately, they just leave. If you’re patient enough to stay, sometimes incredibly magical experiences happen. Like this one.

Those are California condors. Biggest wingspan in North America, incredibly endangered, and the only species with approval from USDA for emergency use of the poultry avian flu vaccine.

Towards the end of the day, once things got quiet, I sat down near where one was foraging and just hung out. Then… they noticed me.

I can only upload one video so I’m going with the one where I was showing them my glasses, since they kept trying to peck at my shoelaces and fingers and I wondered what else they'd be interested in.

They stayed there with me for at least five minutes, given the duration of video I took. Just chilling, watching me, interacting a little. It was just us - nobody else approached. Until eventually they chose to go do their own thing, and I sat there in awe for a while.

It’s worth it to wait, when you can.

I decided to make a Pj mask Oc bc of a channel called Pj Trash whose videos helped me understand the current state of the pj mask timeline.

I watched the show back when it was just season 1 and I don’t remember much. But I really wanted to draw an Oc for this show.

Right now it’s just concept art, mostly bc I think me wanting to make her Mexican made me draw her with a hoodie that looks like a poncho.

I think she’s really well done but I would appreciate some feedback! It would really help me improve more on character design.

I’m being very brave at 1am this tuesday morning, there’s a queer gathering event for my grad school tonight and if i want The Rewards Of Being Known i am going to have to endure The Presence Of My Ex and every neuron i have thinks i’m being hunted by tigers just for saying yes to the invite. We’re not even on bad terms (afaik) i just have no data on how many ppl there will be, and i’m terrified of seeming like a creep just for showing up in the same space as them. Charlie Kelly from Always Sunny is my favorite representation of dyslexia in anything ever. Specifically because everyone's frustration when his dyslexia gets in their way feels very true to my frustration when my dyslexia gets in my way. I like watching people get mad at dyslexia lol

Who/where did you get your back tattoo done if you don’t mind me asking? I am looking to get Kiryu’s one day, and was wondering where you found someone who did such a good job!

I got mine at a local place (hotrod tattoo, AZ, artist Chuy) tho if you're looking to get something for yourself done, I would rec checking out artist portfolios at places of your choosing and seeing which you prefer! tbh a lot of this will come down to what you want out of the tat and what the artist is willing to do 👀

so like, for me, I wanted majima's tat done 1:1, style matching and all so it took me a few tries to find an artist who was willing to emulate the art exactly since some artists prefer doing their own thing or whatnot. the guy I found had a portfolio full of tats from other media in 1:1 styles as well as in general such a broad range of styles that I felt convinced he could get me exactly what I wanted 😊 plus he had a few japanese style tats so I could see how he'd handle things like the dark clouds typical of these tats (which is like 70% of majima's lol)

so if you're looking for kiryu's I would say ask yourself do you want it 1:1, or an interpretation, or something else, etc and go from there when you're looking for an artist and make it *very* clear your intentions just so communication is smooth and no one misinterprets things. and definitely don't settle if you're not 100% happy with whoever you find! I had to go thru multiple people and talk to them about the process till I really felt comfortable with the guy I finally picked. since these sorts of tats are huge af and expensive, defo make sure you have no regrets or hesitations when you start 👌

ik it's just because he's supposed to have tanned or something from working as a farmhand for 18 years but in my head im gonna just imagine randall was mixed race and just really pale growing up and when he got older and had to be out in the sun the melanin in him finally activated. i mean we never see mr ascott so whos to say im wrong

A poll for other Tarn lovers because I keep thinking about it and am curious

I would've put an option for Tarn being ugly but I'm worried people who don't even like Tarn would pick that just as a meme answer to make fun of him so sorry.

Also yes I know we've seen his face in the comics but I'm asking for personal headcanons independent of how the characters are drawn (which can vary depending on the artist/style) in canon.

Mainly asking because in a lot of art I see of maskless Tarn (drawn by people I know or just random artists online), it seems like a lot of the time Tarn is drawn with a rather beautiful/bishie face and now I'm just curious if people specifically see Tarn as having a prettyboy face or if it's just some sort of art style thing/coincidence.
