The McDonald's in Frattocchie, Italy is built on an archaeological site and features three 2,000 yr. old skeletons in a glass-paneled floor.

When construction began, an ancient Roman road was found with 3 skeletons preserved alongside it.

It's mandated by law that any ruins of historical value have to be preserved and made available to the public, so McDonald’s put the road and skeletons under glass in the floor.

McDonald’s also devotes funds to preserving and protecting the road site. 

People joke that the skeletons are waiting for the ice cream machine to be fixed.

Sono appena andata via dal Mc'Donalds Porta Venezia dopo esser domandata dal macaco africano dalla sicurezza se io ero li a ordinare.
