Hey hey! If your matchups are still open I'd love to receive one, if you do take this one I'm very grateful in advance! I'm 18, genderqueer and go by any pronouns, and I'm bisexual. My primary love languages are quality time, gift giving and acts of service. I'm a very reserved person in relationships (and in general) and am much more comfortable showing that I care about someone rather than outright saying it. Also I don't initiate contact much, but I don't mind receiving it from people I'm comfortable with.

People say I can come off as distant and aloof at first, but I attribute it a lot to my social and general anxiety. I'm very well meaning and non-confrontational, but sometimes I end up saying the wrong things or miss out on dire social cues (<- the most oblivious person alive especially to flirting). I get interested in the most random topics and like to keep that knowledge tucked away (like I could totally see myself rambling to my s/o about the history of Jell-O). I'd love to pursue a career in Forensics or alternatively, something in the medical field like a nurse. In my free time I love to write and draw as a way to channel my overactive imagination into something productive. I've also been known to write and draw as a way to show affection (I could write literal essays just to hype people up).

My fashion sense is a little all over the place, half of my wardrobe is very concealing black flowy clothes. The other half are tacky print button ups and comfortable shorts. But then I also have some cozy sweaters and jackets that people describe as my grandma clothes. I just thought it was very silly and worth mentioning my always changing style.

So I was rewatching DIU (sadly not DUI) and was starting to think about Mikitaka and his sensitivity to certain sounds- via his allergy to sirens. But, I feel like it'd be super cute if Mikitaka had an s/o who had a habit of humming or just had an overall soft voice, and he's just in love with it and could just listen to them hum/talk all day.

In the first week of August 2023 we discovered aliens were real thus it is time once again for Mikitaka brain rot even though hi hello aliens scare the shit out of me and I cannot stand seeing grey aliens without reliving very specific childhood CPTSD phobias.

None the less, my body reacts strongly to Mikitaka because he is handsome boi, so let us go into headcanons.

I love the idea of his whole body just going so scrunkly when he hears you humming. Almost like a ripple effect where he just turns this really interesting shade of blue and is 🥴🥴🥴🥴 the whole time you’re just idling and trying to hum.

Like even his facial features start getting weird and his pupils dilate.

He even starts to make “ekekekekekek” sounds like a cat.

“Babe… what the fuck are you doing?”

“This sound… I am VERY attracted to it.”

Of course because it’s coming out of the mouth of your insanely attractive man, this gives you an ego boost.

This becomes a frequent thing where you will hum to him and watch him have what looks to be a complete melting session.

Insists that you hum for him whenever he’s stressed out, particularly when a siren goes screaming by the house because he insists it makes him feel better.

Obviously he is so disturbed by sirens and gets physically sick, you can’t help but oblige him.

Ironically, he likes nursery songs. You hummed Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to him and he was absolutely delighted.

He told you, “Stars in your galaxy do not really twinkle, as you call it. They appear to do so in the night sky because the light is affected by temperature and wind in your atmosphere. But your song is simply precious. Please make your humming again.”

Mikitaka often hears songs on your radio and will request you to repeat them. He often does not catch the title of the song, so he will have to resort to really specific descriptions to make sure you know which one it is.

“As far as I was able to glean from the context of the lyrics, the woman in the song is very upset that her partner has not disclosed information to her regarding his location. She proceeds to vandalize their home, their communal eating utensils, and various articles of his clothing are damaged with the sodium hypochlorite substance that you call bleach.”

“Um… ok? Do you remember anything else?”

“Oh yes! The woman indicated multiple times that she was “going to fight a man”.”

“… I’ve never heard anyone reference a Rihanna song like a work incident report but I guess there’s a first time for everything isn’t there?”

If you two have kids (or if you’re strictly child free and have pets only) he will insist you hum to them as well.

You were at home relaxing as you had a day off and you decided to make the best of it. Sitting on your couch with a cute coffee mug, you heard a knock on your door as you got up PRAYING that it’s not anything that had to be related for work or anything to do with your job.

As you open the door, you looked to see the familiar sight of the two dumbasses and a new friend along with them. Before they could speak, you slammed the door on them and walked back to your kitchen to lean over the countertop as you heard banging and yelling from the other side of the door that you tried to ignore.

You soon gave in and swung the door open and you glared at Josuke and Okuyasu.

“What do you need? I literally get a break from my job and of course you two had to show up.”

Your eyes glanced at the platinum blonde male beside them.

“Now, who’s the new kid?”

Josuke collected his breath from yelling so much and he began to speak up after a good 3 minutes.

“This, this is Mikitaka.. he’s an alien. We can’t tell if he’s a user or truly and alien and we need your help..”

You looked at Josuke as Okuyasu nodded at Josuke’s statement and Okuyasu decide to speak up.

“And, you know stuff about space and all that, so we decided to wonder if you can like, I don’t know, help him settle in and get used to being.. normal?“

Josuke jabbed Okuyasu in the arm causing Okuyasu to whisper-yell a “What??” You mentally facepalmed and looked at the platinum blonde who’s named Mikitaka. He looked to be staring at a butterfly out of curiosity.

“Surprisingly, I understand what you’re saying Okuyasu. For ONCE in a life time. Anyways, I’ll take care of him. Now shoo.”

Okuyasu nudged Josuke in triumph and thanked you before walking away and you looked at Mikitaka.

“Hello Mikitaka, names _____! I’ll be helping you get used to your new home.”

Mikitaka perked up realizing you were talking to him and he blinked twice and he straightened himself up.

“Ah! Thank you for taking me in. I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

You took a mental note of his behavior and let him inside your residence. It was really clean and there were a few papers in a neat pile on the counter. Mikitaka seemed clueless and didn’t know where he was.

“Okay, Mikitaka, let me help you get used to this new life style, alright?”

He only nodded and motioned him to follow and he did so and ended up at a gallery like area that was dark but not too dark. It had information about space and all the little things about it. You begin to talk to Mikitaka, asking a few questions and jotting it down on a paper as he asked questions about his own surroundings. All of this was honestly cute in your opinion.

As time passed, you concluded he was indeed another terrestrial being! It was interesting to you and you decided to care for him and teach him about all the human things around him. You even helped him with writing. He knew how to write but not in Japanese so you had to teach him but thankfully, he’s a swift learner and understood quickly and it was honestly a relief.

As the day slowly turned into days together and days turned into a week. You showed him many things and cared for Mikitaka like you were his mother. He felt comfortable around you and you can’t help but smile at it. Seeing him get used to everything made you ever so happy..

You took him everywhere he wanted to explore as he was a curious mind. It warmed your heart to see him so happy, you can’t help but call him your son!

A guy appears from behind a building, shooting blasts of fire at you two, the alien boy rushes and turns into a shield to protect you, It was very sudden in less than seconds you find yourself on the floor with your alien boyfriend on top of you pulling you close, he leaves you on the floor ,he turn his own hand into chains, but he fails and the enemy stand user manages to conduct fire through the chains, you can't help but see your one and only love turning to ashes, before he dies he looks at you and gives you a soft smile

An inexplicable fury growing in your chest makes you summon your stand and charge at the enemy, the enemy still wearing the chains made from your now dead boyfriend ,he tries to attack you but your stand quickly stops the enemy's attack, breaking the chains and pulling him close to you

Josuke, Rohan, Mikitaka Crush Headcanons

Josuke Higashikata:

When Josuke realizes he has a crush on you, he loses his shit. It's hard for him to comprehend that he finds you hot, or how he wants to cuddle with you, or realizes his internalized jealousy fits he has with you. He'll break, he'll try to act cool around you, but he's just so nervous when he's caught up in the momen.

Josuke will overthink everything you do, and say. If you ask for him to hangout with you, he'll think it's leading to some sort of confession. His ego isn't big, or anything, he just wishes his love life was like a sappy romcom movie. He'll bite his lip a lot whenever you two are alone together.

Josuke rants, and talks about you a lot, especially to Okuyasu, and his mom. While his mother teases him about it, Okuyasu gives him straightforward advice that he'll never take because it's absolutely ridiculous.

Josuke isn't always flustered, and shy around you, but when you two are having some sort of moment, he can't look you in the eyes. Again, he'll bite his lip, and advert his red face from you.

Rohan Kishibe:

I mentioned this before, Rohan is a fucking creep. Like an actual C.R.E.E.P. He is a massive stalker, he'll follow you around, dote on you, draw you, and write about you and him together. He'll have everything about you in a big drawer, locking it so no one ever finds out.

As creepy as that is, Rohan respects most of your privacy at the same time. He would never, ever, use Heaven's Door on you. He would rather you open up to him regularly, as slow, and hard that is for you to do. He can be patient, for you.

Rohan always finds ways to compliment you. The compliments are very weird, however, and you're not sure how to exactly take them. Not only that, but Rohan always wants to be around you. He will find ways for you two to walk around Morioh together, eat at the same place, or find ways to get invited into your home...

Surprisingly, Rohan doesn't degrade you in any way, like he does with most of his "friends". Yeah, no, you're on the side with Koichi, you are the only two he can stand. Speaking of Koichi, he will NOT stop talking about you when he's bothering Koichi. Koichi can't stand this, and Rohan doesn't care.

Mikitaka Hazekura:

Mikitaka is a weird one, considering he's an alien. He isn't very familiar with the term "crush", as he isn't sure what love is exactly also. His planet doesn't focus too much on that kind of stuff, so when he catches feelings for you, he's not really sure what to do, give him time though.

Giving Mikitaka time to figure out his feelings, especially confronting Josuke about them, getting a better clue of what it is, Mikitaka will not leave you alone now. He's so fascinated by you, and genuinely just likes being around you.

He'll transform himself into different things whenever you need something. He's thankful that you're not weirded out by his abilities, nor disgusted by him being an alien.

Mikitaka gets very quiet whenever you touch him, or hold his hand. He feels his face heating up, and wonders if it's something he's allergic to. The crush stage doesn't last too long with him since he's so blunt. He'll end up admitting his feelings for you by the end of the week.

Mikitaka's emotional weak spots are his friends. He would do anything and cross any line for the people he cares about, whether that be good or bad. It's concerning to a degree because he doesn't understand when he's taking things too far.

His guilty pleasure is pranking people. He loves to turn into random objects and talk to people who have no idea where that voice could be coming from. It's hilarious to watch someone stare at a park bench that just said something about how it didn't like the music on the morning radio.

Mikitaka Hazekura

Dating Mikitaka is just bound to be interesting, even in the mundane day to day. He’s very interested in the act of human courtship so expect lots and lots of questions as he compares the experience to the way it’s done back on his home planet.

You’ll do a little teaching here and there, but it’s fun and Mikitaka is really quick in the uptake. In a way, he makes you appreciate even the simplest of things that you would have otherwise overlooked or taken for granted.

While dating Mikitaka, you’ll spend a lot of time learning his quirks just as much as he learns yours. Maybe one day you’re playing in his hair and find that he’s extremely ticklish right at the center of his head lol

Or you both lay in his room that’s decorated with space memorabilia from his travels before crash-landing on earth, as he tells you about his birth parents and his pet “droghak”.

I think the sweetest thing about dating Mikitaka is the way he expresses his love for you.

He’ll say things like, “The color of your eyes are like that of the seven stars on planet ‘Souzxalt’.” and you’ll just have to trust that he’s paying you a compliment, especially when he cups your cheek and looks at you like your the most compelling thing he’s ever laid eyes on.

Josuke Higashikata

Josuke is a big sweetheart and an even bigger romantic, so keep in mind that he’s spent a lot of time daydreaming about the concept of dating and having a future partner!

At the beginning of the relationship, he’ll be a weird mix between nervous and excited. Although Josuke will be eager to go on dates and show you off as the best thing that’s ever happened to him, he is also quite afraid of messing up.

I also see Josuke being very adamant about you meeting his friends and will really want you to get along with Okuyasu and Koichi. Along that line, he’ll insist upon you meeting his mom too! (Tomoko will already know everything about you because Josuke is constantly talking about you).

Josuke is a very affectionate boyfriend, lots of hugging and kissing, although I do see him as a little bit on the chaste and inexperienced side too, so anything spicier than kissing would be initiated by you.

He will 100% brag about you and how great you are, those are just the facts, but we expect nothing less for a totally smitten Josuke Higashikata.

Josuke will bring you little treats and gifts, like your favorite candy and a CD with all your favorite songs (and a few of his own recommendations which all just so happen to be Prince).
