Akhir-akhir ini pernah nggak kalian merasa nggak bahagia?
Kalau pernah, sama dong! Manusiawi kok. Perihal bahagia atau nggak bahagia sebenernya itu pilihan kita sendiri. Banyak praktisi kesehatan mental yang sudah menggaungkan istilah Self-Love yang pada intinya kita harus lebih dulu mencintai diri sendiri, membahagiakan diri sendiri. Terus gimana caranya? Tbh, I'm not an expert. Lol.
Mulai sadari bahwa kita nggak bisa terus-terusan hidup dalam ekspektasi orang lain terhadap kita. Kita juga nggak bisa nyuruh orang lain peka dan ngertiin kita selamanya kan? Nah karena kita nggak bisa kontrol perlakuan orang lain inilah kita harus bisa memilih, mana hal-hal yang ada dalam kendali kita dan mana hal-hal yang di luar kendali kita. Karena ini kuncinya.

Kalau berbagi ke orang lain membuat kamu bahagia, lakukan! Kalau ngelus dan memberi makan kucing liar di jalanan membuat kamu bahagia, lakukan! Kalau karokean bikin sesak di dada kamu hilang, lakukan kalau perlu teriak sekeras-kerasnya! Kalau marathon drama Korea bisa bikin hati kamu menghangat, nontonlah! Lumayan penyegaran mata kan bisa liat yang rupawan dan scene yang unyu-unyu. Banyak banget hal yang bisa kita lakukan, karena yang tau tolok ukur bahagia kita ya hanya kita sendiri.
Jangan sering-sering mikir negatif, "ah di sosmed ini mah orang cuma mau pamer." atau "ah ini ngapain sih mantan pamer pacar barunya." atau lagi "yaaah, crush gue udah punya pacar." bisa juga, "dia baru nikah sebulan, sekarang lagi hamil, gue udah nikah 2 tahun belum hamil juga." misalnya lagi, "eh temen sepermainan gue udah nikah semua, gue ketemu yang tepat aja belum."
Banyak banget hal-hal yang di luar kendali kita yang bisa dijadikan contoh. Yang bisa kita lakukan terus apa dong? Gampang, ya gak usah diliat lah! Itu bikin kamu insecure? Lewatin! Bikin kamu sedih? Jangan diliat! Gimana caranya nggak liat? Ada tombol block, unfollow, mute, silakan feel free kok. Kamu mau apa? Mau koar-koar minta mereka peka untuk ngertiin kamu? Ya nggak bisa dong sayang ...
If anyone else can enjoy the things, so do you.
Kamu bisa pilih bahagiamu sendiri sebagaimana mereka pilih bahagia mereka. Kita perlu berbuat baik? Sangat perlu, karena itu berada dalam kendali kita. Perkara orang lain mau balas berlaku baik atau tidak, itu sudah bukan kendali kita. Dan itu berlaku juga untuk banyak hal.
Yuk sama-sama belajar membuat dan menemukan bahagia yang tepat untuk kita sendiri!

The Present Moment
"Surely, the memory of an event cannot pass for the event itself. Nor can the anticipation. There is something exceptional, unique, about the present event, which the previous, or the coming do not have. There is a livingness about it, an actuality; it stands out as if illuminated. There is the ‘stamp of reality’ on the actual, which the past and the future do not have."

There is nothing peculiar in the present event to make it different from the past and future. For a moment the past was actual and the future will become so. What makes the present so different? Obviously, my presence. I am real for I am always now, in the present, and what is with me now shares in my reality. The past is in memory, the future -- in imagination. There is nothing in the present event itself that makes it stand out as real. It may be some simple, periodical occurrence,like the striking of the clock. In spite of our knowing that the successive strokes are identical, the present stroke is quite different from the previous one and the next -- as remembered, or expected. A thing focussed in the now is with me, for I am ever present; it is my own reality that I impart to the present event."
