So I'm pretty sure I'm still sick, but I'm past the "100000° temp and runny nose and sneezing" and now I'm at "all of the above and I'm depressed" so y'know, not great? My dog is really cute and he's being a lovely pillow, but my brain is being annoying.

Johnathan is a Polar Bear.

While officially described as a "Neutral Mob" (aka not always aggressive/needs to be provided), I don't really care? The wiki also places spiders in this category because they're passive during the day and those idiots get listed as aggressive mobs all the time!

Anyways, we all know John is a bear (🏳️‍🌈🤨), why can't he be a bear in Minecraft as well? Often forgotten, I was around when they added polar bears and I *loved* them. They're so silly! I feel like not a lot of people talk about the icy biomes though, hence why these lovable goobers get forgotten.

They're harmless as babies, can be provoked when grown, and are always hostile when they have a cub. This is John to me, a bit silly when first joining the army, dangerous as a lieutenant, and would go down for any of his boys now that he's a captain. Also it's just like- adorable? Fight me, the model looks are grumpy and stinky (aka Price.)

Ghost:

This fuckin looser is an Enderman.

Wooow... such a hot take, I know. Listen- I never said I was original! I stole like, *all* of my personality from my sibling, I'm gonna make this man an enderman. Sue me.

I had a few different ideas: skeleton (sniper/just look at him), warden (big and op), even some other nether mob! But to be honest, this all started because I saw a few pieces of art that I thought were cool. I already associate him with the color purple, he's tall, he sneaks around (/teleports depending how glitchy your game is lol), he's an enderman! Also he fits well with Laswell, what else can I say?

I also imagine him as a bit of an object guy? I mean his tac vest is HUGE, he grew up poor and that can often lead to hoarding/stealing (me lmao), Johnny likes giving gifts to people he likes. Yeah, he'd totally steal a block from your house and put it on your farm just to fuck with you >:(

Soap:

Okay, this was my first original idea. Please don't be mean, I like this idea :(

Cave spiders are really cool and also often forgotten! They're larger than normal spiders, only spawn in mineshafts and trial chambers, and can inflict poison with their attacks. Now, because they don't spawn on the surface, you probably don't think of this guy very often. I'm here to change that.

Gaz is basically a child prodigy, taken under Price's wing. He's often forgotten by fans or replaced which is always sad. Also- he looks cool. Cave spiders are stronger than normal spiders, often forgotten, and also they look cool. While neither are particularly strong on their own (Gaz having less muscle than others, cave spiders being kinda soft and squishy and killable), they've both got secrets. Gaz has tactics and stamina, the cave spider literally just poisons you.

I don't know, maybe this is me being biased and wanting to make my favorite boy into my favorite mob, but I think it fits pretty well?? Also, both of them look prettier than their original counterparts (09 white Gaz and the normal spider).

Anyways, I always forget that Tumblr has an image limit. I've got ideas for Laswell, Graves, Nikolai (somewhat), and sorta König? Oh- and Roach. I've also got one for Red if y'all are curious. I guess that'll be the part 2?

Sooo, I know that a streamer ghostsoap au exists

But is there an au where they met through like minecraft or smth(I'm guessing yes but I mean no streaming)

Like just them meeting on a random server and slowly becoming friends and blah blah blah

Also, if they were to make a server together, soap gives me the vibe of a speed runner, so he'll already be in the end while ghost just hot stone tools or smth

Minecraft would make Ghost emotional. He’s exploring and the soft melody plus the strangely beautiful environment and the sense of loneliness that single player Minecraft brings? Man has to step back and take a breather…

Or he could invite Soap to play because he’ll disrupt the peace by turning off peaceful mode and blowing everything up with TNT and seeking out creepers with the intent of harvesting their gunpowder or making them explode. Then Ghost watches Soap make the most complex redstone machines, something he probably wouldn’t be able to make without a very detailed tutorial.

Not to sound stupid or anything, but how does the 'boom' mechanisms work for Soap in your new au? Like does he just throw a stick of dynamite at the target or does he just combust on the spot?? And if so, how does he like, recover from that??

OH IVE THOUGHT ABOUT IT TOO so basically its REALLY similar to how Bakugo's (MHA) quirk works, but instead of sweat as a medium, Soap creates micro-combustions directly, using electrical discharge as the trigger Johnny has an internal ability to generate electrical energy that he channels through his body at will. this electricity doesn't necessarily harm him but it can cause him to overheat (which can cause stuff like nosebleeds, high blood pressure, skin burns like he has from his charged form)

his body builds a charge like a capacitor

he can direct that energy through focus points like his hands, feet, his whole body or some weaponized items (like grenades)

when he "discharges" (sounds weird but idk what else to call this), it causes a micro-combustion — basically an implosive spark that escalates into a burst or explosion based on how much charge he built

> charged form:

whenever Soap is in a high-adrenaline situation or experiences some intense emotions he can go into the charged form (or well if the lighting hits him lulz, lets keep the mc reference there too)

his explosions are stronger and faster in this form

he can get some minor boost to his speed

overheats very easily in this form and it can be very mentally taxing

> recovery notes:

his main limiting factor is his internal power supply (aka all basic needs) and nervous system resistance

he carries some conductive grounding tools (like some copper fabrics or redstone coated stuff)

he can use products that contain some redstone to "recharge" himself for a short period of time. think of it like an energy bars/drinks

his gear is reinforced with some blast paddings (mainly his vest) and shock-absorbing boots

he cant use his powers whenever he's too cold or physically exhausted

i really wanted to make some example animation of the explosions and how they act but irl things are a bit rough time-wise right now. so here are some gifs from MHA as a visual example:

Ok so, the taskforce definitly play video games on their downtime, leading to Ghost (who is harboring feelings for the reader) playing alongside them the most. When the crew discovers minecraft and begin to play it together, its ghost and the reader who run off together while price, gaz and soap all make their own homes. The reader loves building, so she build her and ghost a happy little home, the while ghost pulls the 'hard work' (mining, going to the nether, kitting them out) eventually he finds a wolf and brings it back for the reader to take so she can have a 'puppy' (she cries and he panics running to calm her down) the others are extremely miffed when they notice ghost is willingly living in a cottage core home in minecraft with the reader. Starts calling them each others "minecraft girl/boyfriend and minecraft boyfriend)
