this may be the most insane finals season yet. why do i do this to myself

#42 page sequential art project + mini comic thats looking to be about 10 pages + 25 page junior thesis comic + 8 page art history zine #PLUS jane austen essay. jesus H christ #to be fair the 42 page project is done. so that's fine i just need to scan it. but still. LMFAO #if i go completely off the grid for the next 3 weeks this is why btw. im in the trenches again #ykw i havent given myself permanent nerve damage or cried in class yet so im still doing better than fall semester freshman year #i <3 art school

it’s a doggy dog world. MUTT is a six page, semi-autobiographical comic written and illustrated by me, puppybot, about a transsexual weirdo named mutt who attends a party and is met by both past and present sexual conquests. a night of embarrassment and reminiscing takes a turn for the better as mutt and the not so mysterious long-haired beauty, computer, air out their issues and celebrate the complexities of life in queered bodies.

MUTT is not suitable for young audiences and contains harsh language, talk of sexual abuse, and graphic depictions of transsexuals holding comically large sex toys.

Delivery day!!!!!!!

#my comic and zine and wooden pin arrived from the uk #i would be so powerful if i could get stuff like this from the us too. but alas customs and fees not going through that again #but yeah i was just thinking yesterday about how it's been a while since i ordered them. so yay!#they already look sooooo cool can't wait to read them #when you get a personalised note from the seller along with the order 💗💗 ( ˶ˆ꒳ˆ˵ )#plus there's just something so nice about having something from smaller artists. feels personal and sort of unique!#because it really is both of those things when you think about it #all of the mini-comics and zines i own now i have acquired over the past couple of months #still getting used to the fact that 1) i'm an adult 2) i have some money of my own that i got from freelancing for a while #and can therefore buy whatever stuff i want if i wish so really #but speaking of zines its even cooler when one of them has your own art in it!!!!!#this is such a huge thing really. if there's one thing that made studying at this other university for one semester worth it in the end #it's the long trail of events that led to me learning about this project and then actually deciding to participate!! and getting accepted!!#anyway. my piece is a short comic based on the lyrics of eaten of the monster of love and it's my favourite thing i've ever made possibly #ok sorry for the ramble. my point is.#yayyyy getting a delivery and yayyyyy surrounding yourself with things you like and that inspire you. so cool #goosepost

I would like to once again thank everyone that was involved in the creative process. And I hope everybody is able to enjoy this gem centred around our beloved Earth-wielder Terra; whether this is your first zine or your hundredth in your collection.

i think this summer im going to do a lot of very cool and creative projects that will include revamping my store and perhaps looking into starting a webcomic (or at very least planning one!!!!) and im so excited!! im so excited to be creative and have fun !!

#i am finished university FOREVER on the 16th of may #and then i have some graduate show prep #but im really excited #ill be doing a lot of portfolio work as well so hopefully ill have a lot to share!#I need to do some varied character designs and more props/environments but thats all job stuff #i really want to do some more short comics and zines !!#id love to do a mini meet cute comic/zine #my knight comic is something im considering expaning on to make into a webcomic!#or shuffling around the plot of LIFA and turning it into a webcomic!#or maybe something COMPLETELY new!!!#id love to get back into product design like id love to so desperately #i want to make a new keychain very badly #and get back into stickers and badges #and i want to do conventions/markets again !!!!!!!#idk im just kinda excited to be free to do a lot of things again #ive been working non stop on this one uni project since september last year #so it will be fun to do other things !!#also some fun cover designs maybe!#HEHE idk im just! excited i think!

#not counting this as an art post bc i'm gonna start rambling right now:#shaking crying the face album is dropping soon #set me free was already amazing like he did a full 180 and it was so cool! cannot wait for like crazy to premiere #n e ways. this past week has been. a rollercoaster #we had a mini crisis ordering zines but it's solved ish now. there is a plan in place #hmm my project is almost done.. just gotta finish asap so i can get it in for printing #though the organizers didn't email me back on a deadline or whether my specs are fine so i'm :// definitely not annoyed at that #uhh yeah and the mv from last week that dropped! my embarrassing story moment-#i was on the elevator w/ one other person and they saw my b.t21 hand sanitizer cover on my lanyard and pointed it out #and i was like yooo did you see the set me free mv #and they were like yeah the concept was so different from their usual style?? he did amazing #and i was like yeeaaAAHH except the last part kinda got louder?? and we were off the elevator by that point??#i swear i saw ppl turn to look at me auughghg but listen. i barely talk to a.rmys irl even though they're Everywhere #they seemed cool unfortunately i didn't get their name and idt ima see them again anytime soon LOL #it was a nice interaction in the middle of a busy week though #and 2 days ago i had a call w/ my friend which was really nice!! we ended up talking for 2h #we were talking about haha. spiraling in the abyss and weapon banners that would be worth my rolls among other topics #and then at one point he said smth like 'oh i couldn't talk about xyz with anyone so i went to you' and i was like. oh...#on one hand i was touched and on the other hand it was a reminder that i need to be more aware of my context when i talk lol #that's what my main blog is for! me yelling in the tags to the void #speaking of reining it in i was drawing for hours and had to drag myself away from this wip bc too much screentime!!#working through the ugly emotions by drawing a pretty kvh- exhibit a #spent at least 30min drawing lines that did not look good and now it's one of those wips that feels like i'm not skilled enough to finish #but we're going through with it bc i love the challenge and the image in my head is really nice so!!#this is also me being spiteful and proving myself wrong- that i can draw him well and that i don't need to compare myself to others #tmi of the day is i was looping j.iyuu no tsubasa as i was drawing this. and the song has. the complete opposite vibes hahaha #oh would you look at that the mv dropped as i was typing this up! time to stream the album for the next 48h #i will go focus on that now!! this is all i got chief #note
