I just thought of something.

Isn’t it so perfect yet so Ironic that the Phil’s egg is Chayanne. Because the admin who plays Chayanne also plays Cucurucho who is arguably such an important and integral part of the lore of the smp while his “dad” just couldn’t care less about the lore. And just the 4th wall just doesn’t exist for that family.

Phil is just straight up vibing and sometimes I feel like Phil doesn’t purposefully break the 4th wall, stuff like that just happens to him. Now we were even so close to hearing what Talullah’s admin’s irl voice sounds like lol.

Phil was 100% right when he said he is the perfect person for scuffed things to happen to lore-wise. And it is equally as perfect that Chayanne was chosen by a father who wouldn’t care if the immersion was broken because imagine if Richas or even Dapper’s admin was cucurucho, those “misclicks” would be taken much more seriously and I just imagine the admin just sweating as he now complicated the lore. But for Phil he’s just like “Oh haha misclick, oh no I mean I just hallucinated yes, absolutely ;D”

It’s also Ironic how he’s forced to be important to the lore. He has a character, the admins will make sure of that. He will always be the egg protector. Go attac eggs when with phil? Got it! It always happens to him lol

Everything is fun and enjoyable, especially since Sumeru just recently debuted so you still have a lot to do!

All that ends though, when a mysterious passerby pushes you off the building of your university while playing Genshin. But instead of meeting your inevitable end, you find yourself waking up in the very world you were addicted to! 

It's supposed to be a fun dream, right? Something you could laugh at when you wake up? Right?! So, why is that you were back in AR1 with nothing but a dull blade in your inventory?!

…well, at least you still have those 700+ sunsettias and mints, Timmie's fowls…and surprisingly similar game mechanics you used to merely see on the screen before. But what should you do now? Flirt with the Genshin men??? Good lords...

For your own sake, you logically decided to remain still inside Tighnari's house. Your body was still aching all over, even though the Therianthrope had meticulously treated your wounds well—which you guessed was from your fall with him—it also doesn't leave the fact that you felt even more tired than when you were reviewing for your exams every night.

Well, that would be the first reason. The other is that you were still in shock—and denial—at what the hell is happening right now. Tighnari was real, you could see and touch him in the flesh, and you can't be mistaken that that person isn't him because you know it's him by the amount of shameless staring and gushing you did with his soft-looking ears and tail during his first banner and in his idles.

So, yes…if you were indeed get isekai'd in Genshin Impact, one question still begs to be answered. A lot, to be honest, but for now, you were still not accepting this reality wholeheartedly.

"M…Maybe I just misclicked it or something. That's right, I probably just misread it." You tried reasoning to yourself, a little desperate, before closing the hologram screen. After you take a lungful of breaths, you shakily pat your chest once, and the screen appears before you again.

"NOOOOO!!!" You wailed loudly, almost thrashing your feet in the bed as you animatedly heard the cracking ice and booming volcanoes in your head, goading and laughing at your misery. "...my AR60 account, my characters…I grind so hard for them…for two years…"

Almost in tears, you gulped shakily as your eyes travelled down to the Inventory tab, tapping it only to groan in utter disappointment when ALL of your precious weapons were gone! Every. Single. One. Of them! Not even a trusty Prototype Rancour or a Harbinger of Dawn! All of them are gone except for that damn LVL1 Dull Blade!

"I can't believe this…all of my hard work…" You sniffed and stiffly tapped the icon of the Dull Blade, and to your surprise, the weapon suddenly appeared in front of you. "Woahhh—!" Its sharp blade almost grazes your skin. you manage to grab its hilt in time but you almost dropped it when its unexpected weight almost crushed you. "This is so heavy!"

Before you hurt yourself further with the Dull Blade, you immediately unequipped the sword and switched the tab to the Artifacts, and just as you dreadily expect, it was also empty. All your precious five stars artifacts are gone so suddenly. The CD Items, Quest Items, Gadgets, Furnishings and Precious Items tab are as empty as your soul when you were done checking. 

With a shake of your head, you console yourself with the fact that at least some of the Materials (like the local specialties) and Food (sunsettias, starshrooms and apples) were still as high as you remember. 

After some time glaring at your nearly emptied inventory, you closed the tab completely, glossing over the Map in disappointment (which was, by the way, the Teleport Waypoints or Statue of the Seven were still locked, even the ones in Mondstadt and Liyue), and the Quest Menu is still empty. 

As for the other ones, if you remember correctly, the Wish and Shop were unlocked when you reached AR5. While the Character Archive would be available only when you get Amber to be playable—which you think is impossible for now considering you were in Sumeru and Mondstadt is like…a nation away.

This is all so depressing. Add to the fact that you don't know how to return to your world, almost all of your trusted resources, a chance of survival, is gone.

A few moments later, Tighnari arrived with your medicine and he raised his brow when he saw you sulking in the farthest corner of the bed. "What happened to you? Do you feel any pain somewhere?"

You gaze soullessly at him. "My hard work vanished along with my determination to live."

He rolled his eyes. "Okay, drink this medicine and let's get you back to bed." You lamely took the green pill the Therianthrope gave you, toss it on your mouth and immediately gulped the glass of water he offered.

"Blegh!" You almost choked at the bitter taste and Tighnari offered you another glass of water, which you gladly took. 

"I apologise if my concotion is too bitter for your taste. On the bright side, its effectiveness could be trusted." He said in a matter-of-fact tone, though the light twiched of his ears and the swish of his tail tells you that he found your reactions amusing.

"I know, I believe you—uh, what?."

Tighnari was staring at you like you grown two heads. "Hmm. Well, curious how you just swallow that thing without asking me what it was or checking to see if its something dangerous. Even though you appear to know me, you should've been more careful."

It looks like he was about to lecture you about safety and stuff so you immediately replied. "...Dunno, maybe because I don't think you have any reason to poison me after helping and patching me up? Plus, I know your reputation, your talents and your dedication to help. Poisoning me is something against your principles."

"That's true," the Therianthrope looked thoughtful, his green-olive eyes staring down at you intently. "However, humans tend to be a little more cautious about this, you know, which makes them quite predictable. And speaking of which, you appear to know me, but I never have the chance to ask yours. I believe introductions are overdue?"

"Oh, uh…I'm [Name]. Hehehe. Sorry again for all the trouble, Tighnari." You said gratefully. For a moment, you wonder if he would recognised your name. Well, you don't even know if this Tighnari is the same as the Tighnari you were playing before. And even if he was, he probably wouldn't recognised your real name since you were using a Username instead.

Speaking of which…

WHERE IS YOUR PHONE?! AND YOUR BACKPACK? 

Before you could ask what befall your other stuff, Tighnari cut you off. He was looking at you curioisly, never hostile but you could see his guard was up, his tail tensing a little. "...I believe myself to have a decent memory, and I'm confident I never seen you before. How did you know my name?"

How could you tell him he was a video game character you were playing before you die?!

Yeah, no. As if he would believed you. He might've thought you were losing your last braincells and even send you to Bimarstan for real this time.

Quick, [Name], just throw any excuse you could find! Your hippocamus was internally panicking along with you.

"...I KNOW BECAUSE I LOVE YOU—" you blurted out in a frenzy before you realised what you said. Your eyes widened, as shock as him. "I mean, I love your ears and tail! I don't love you as in you, since you're not rea—wait…that will sounds wrong. But not that way—ugh!"

Before you could dug a hole to hide your embarassment, Tighnari's ears perked up as he glance outside the door. At the same time, the hologram of the Paimon Menu suddenly appeared in front of you. A blue exclamation mark marking the Quest tab made you do a double take.

Did you just triggered a World Quest with whatever nonesense you just said?

Route 1.1: Beg Tighnari to let you come to him and see Cyno. After all, you desperately need those primogems rewards to level up your AR. Plus, you were curious what he looks like, too.

Route 1.2: Abandon the quest! You have more pressing matters to attend to. After all, who knows if that Quest were as long as that Aranyaka that would make your hair white till you finish it. Uuugghhh i misclicked and deleted a post i was working on......... I still remember the prompt but 💀😫 OG request was ASOIAF characters reacting to their s/o surviving an assassination attempt, another nonny wanted something similar, so I combined!

Obvs there will be mentions of blood, angst, and so on! We got: Cersei, Jaime, Tywin, Tyrion, Asha (Yara), Victarion, Brandon, Ned, Benjen, Brynden, Oberyn, Doran, Brienne

Cersei - Woe to the messenger who brings this news to her; the only thing worse about Cersei finding out is her finding out days after it happens. She's livid, and has no shortage of people to blame and suspect. The idea that this attempt is the consequence of her own machinations and manipulations does not to occur to her, or at least - she quickly shoves that thought aside.

She has her sick room moved closer to her own, and threatens the hell out of Pycelle to ensure a speedy recovery. The maids are threatened as well, though eventually Cersei's paranoia whittles them down to just one or two. She visits when you're awake, and either fusses over your comfort or doggedly acts as though everything is fine and you'll be up in no time - even if you're still sickly and wan. Yes, there's ... some denial there, and in rare moments, the facade and denial will melt, and Cersei will express genuine fear that you may have died.

Jaime - There's several minute of disbelief when he hears what happened. Then the anger rushes over him at once - who did it? And where was he to defend you? Then suspicion. Could his sister have found out about you two? Jaime ought to wait until it's safe to visit you, when he can't be seen - but he's never been good at fighting his whims.

Once at your side, he's clearly anxious and discomforted at how tired and sickly you look. His usual flippant, sarcastic front only lasts a few minutes. He gives in, his shoulders slump and you can see the clear anxiety and anger in his bright green eyes. He comes into your chambers every other day, but you aren't aware how often he hovers around the door and hall, eager for the assassin to come again so he might kill them with his own hands.

Tywin - Any attempt on your life was almost certainly meant to send a message to him. That's how he'll always see it, anyway, and Tywin will answer swiftly. He'll probably mutilate or execute your poor excuses for guards, and the maester understands your recovery will go well or he'll be next on the chopping block. Next, he draws up his mental lists of suspects and cuts through them. Tywin Lannister will find out who did this. There's no uncertainty of that.

That said, he doesn't visit the first few days of your recovery - both because of the investigating he's spending late hours on, and because he genuinely doesn't want to see you in such a weak, uneasy state. He isn't willing to admit this to himself, of course, but it brings back memories of Joanna. He'd be more affected if you were stabbed versus if you were poisoned; the blood, the bandages, your pale complexion and low energy all point to the very obvious fact you nearly died, and that would have affected the normally immovable, cruel Lannister patriarch. He doesn't like reminders that he's mortal.

Tyrion - Panic and dread starts bubbling up once he hears the news and really processes it. Tyrion wants to see you right away, even if you're in no state to see visitors for a while. He already has a shortlist of possible culprits, his sister being at the top. He makes sure it's a maester he trusts whose helping your recovery, one of your personal maids he knows whose caring for you, a few guards he pays personally and knows well ... It may seem like a bit much to you, but for Tyrion, it isn't enough. He's still riddled with anxiety and worry that whoever did it will send another assassin to finish the job.

He does his best to be reassuring and light-hearted when he visits, not wanting to trouble you with all the thoughts plaguing him. He likes to bring flowers and books and such, things to brighten your day and occupy you. Tyrion tries to float the idea of moving you to a private manor rather than the Red Keep.

Asha - She's alternating between a quiet fury and outright anger, snapping at this maester and that servant to handle you better. She might push them aside and just do it herself; she can certainly stitch a wound closed, though poison is beyond her. Oh, she has a good idea of who might have done this, but that's for later. First priority is getting your guts back in place and making sure there's some kind of medicine or disinfectant in these islands.

She investigates into who the culprit might be, but still takes time to visit you in the evening. She knows you'll pull through, you're strong - but what kind of lover would she be if she didn't check in and bother you? Asha alternates between a rare tenderness and her usual light heartened jokes, whichever works best on cheering you up.

Victarion - So. The good news is he didn't kill the messenger. The bad news is he's close to strangling the maester that was dragged in to treat you. Victarion has no way of figuring out who did this or how, so anyone is open to his wrath. He might eventually have suspicions, but it'll be his brothers and Asha who will do most of the investigating (if they bother). This rattles Victarion more than he's willing to admit.

It's difficult to visit when you're incoherent and pale, so he waits until you're more stable, even if all these negative emotions bite at him. There's anxiety, fear, powerlessness; all things he's worked to avoid and outrun. He probably doesn't even admit how badly he'd shaken. When you're finally awake and talking, that lessens some of the burden. Then he can pretend you're completely fine, and you'll recover quickly. He doesn't want to linger in the sickroom, so he just has you moved to your shared bedchambers. .... Probably for the best, since they get cleaned more often.

Brandon - He's beside himself with anger and worry. How did this happen? Weren't his best guards with you? Who was the culprit - was this a ploy to get to him? Intrigue is not his strong suit; he can't bruteforce his way through this, and it's beyond frustrating - it's just painful. He wants a culprit so he has someone to throttle.

Brandon makes sure you're as comfortable. He may not know much about treating wounds, but he knows you're in pain and wants to help in any way he can. This leads to him hovering too much, and the maester has had to kick him out so you can get rest. You're supposed to be recovering in the sickroom, but Brandon still wants to sleep next to you. It's half paranoia that something might happen again, and half he doesn't want you to be lonely. Yes, he's the actual lonely one ...

Ned - It takes a few hours, perhaps a day, for the reality of what happened to sink in ... and then the dread and anger follows. He keeps these emotions inside, of course, wanting to focus on who could have done this and why. Was it because of his own doing, or was this assassin after you specifically? He's never been one to uncover and follow schemes, and that shortcoming is especially obvious and frustrating now.

But when he visits your sickbed, Ned tries to push all that aside. He wants to make sure you're recovering and cared for, and while he follows the maester's instructions, he's also willing to go against them for your comfort, like if you want to be moved to back to your shared bedchambers. It's hard for Ned to deny you anything to begin with, he is absolutely going to let you curl up with him because it helps you feel better and safer, wounds be damned.

Benjen - The solemnity that comes over his long face startles his fellow Brothers. Of course this is no laughing matter, but the dark cloud that passes over his features and makes those grey eyes look so cold is startling. He wants to go beyond the Wall immediately and kill whoever did it, but he knows that's foolish. He has to grit his teeth and wait, because they'll surely send more.

He focuses on taking care of you. While they do have Maester Aemond, the old man's eyes make it tricky to do any kind of surgery. When you're awake and recovering, Benjen does his best to give you his soft smiles and usual jokes, though they're more muted than before. He hopes you don't notice how tired and anxious he's feeling. He tries to avoid assignments that'll send him away from Castle Black, and he sneaks into your sick room to sleep beside you whenever he can get away with it.

Brynden - The very cowardice of the act boils his blood. Whoever wanted to do this to you should have gone through him - he hates that he wasn't there when you needed him. Hasn't Brynden always said he'd protect you? If the attempt was done with poison, he's even more bitter. It's easy to get you the care you need, but he's still troubled, sitting at your bedside and wearing a troubled expression that doesn't go away until you wake up.

He tries to smile and comfort you, but his anger at the situation is obvious. When he's not out investigating what happened, he's at your side. He's keeping you company and playing "a poor nurse", so he says, but you know it's also to keep you protected. He comes in with full armor and his sword, after all. You sense he isn't sleeping well, either; he'd rather spend the late hours guarding you as you sleep.

Oberyn - It's not surprising that he reacts with anger. Oberyn would've been right there at your side, wanting to stop the bleeding himself, carrying you all the way to the maester while barking at guards to sweep the area. He'd go out on his own in a heartbeat, but assuring you're stable comes first. The minute you were, though - he's gone, spear in hand and wanting to find out what happened. Between himself and Doran, the assassin - or at least whoever hired them - can't stay anonymous for long.

While you're recovering, he does all he can for you. Do you want a dozen pillows, plenty of flowers, books, music? Company or none? Any food or drink - even if the maester cautions against specific ones - will be your's. Oberyn spares no expense, the guilt and anger he feels at "letting" this happen assuaged just slightly every time he grants a request. He prefers you be moved to your shared bedchambers rather than a sick room, both so he can protect you and so you don't feel so isolated.

Doran - His schooled, calm expression finally cracks when he hears the news. He wants to get up at once, to rush to the messenger and shake them, but he has to compose himself. Doran knows these things happen, and he already has clear suspicions of whose responsible, but that doesn't help his racing mind. He waits until the maester has done his job and you're stable before visiting you - for one, he has to calm himself, and two, he has to act fast if he hopes to retaliate.

Doran makes sure you have the utmost comfort while you recover, much like his brother, though he's not nearly as over-indulgent. He often spends time with you in your sickroom, reading you stories or just talking while holding your hand and petting your hair. He has a wonderful bedside manner helped by his steady presence and voice; it's near impossible to pick up the anger and injustice he's feeling. He doesn't want to subject his paramour to that. You should just focus on resting.

Brienne - She feels a terrible chill come over her, and then the adrenaline. She jumps to action. If the assassin is foolish enough to attempt it while Brienne is within shouting distance - they're dead, period, she will not let them escape after they did such a thing. But if it was poison, or a near-fatal wound - she may have to just to get you help. She gathers you up in her arms and easily carries you to help, shouting for a maester or healer, regardless of it was the middle of the night or day. She'll drag one out of a castle if need be.

Brienne wants to sit in while you're being treated, but she knows she shouldn't. She's stewing in anxiety and worry, wondering if she could've done something differently. Once you're awake and stable, it's like a weight has been lifted off. She still has plans for the assassin if they weren't caught - but first, she needs to focus on you. The adrenaline finally runs out once she hears your voice and has your hand to hold. She's so relieved she could just crash next to you, but no, you need her to be steady and strong.

I don't mind sharing! I had to go through the archive to remember which ones I wanted to check out, but a few of them would be The Walten Files, Red vs. Blue, The Murderbot Diaries, I Am In Eskew, and The Mistholme Museum of Mystery, Morbidity, and Mortality. Many of the characters posted here look interesting, but I'm such a slow watcher/player/reader/etc. that it'd take me decades to go through everything lol

I have been thinking about Pirates SMP way too much lately, so get a bunch of my mishmashed headcanons. Warning that I'm never able to catch the streams, so I'm basing my whole view of the series from BlueberryTV's, Scott's, Owen's, Ros', and Sausage's episodes. And whatever I pick up from Tumblr of course. So there are undoubtedly things I don't know about yet.

- Scott visits Sausage often for bubble bath night. He may be a Heron but he's considered one of the boys (on Sausage's insistence) so he gets a pass from the rest of the Kestrels too.

- Owen despises Scott's parents on principle because of the obvious pressure they put on Scott. She also kinda thinks lesser of Scott for never properly rebelling against them.

- Ros and Reddoons befriended each other and hang out regularly for some chill time and gossip. They try not to let their own factions know because of the tensions between them (yes, this is entirely based on, like, one very cute interaction they had. And I stand by it)

- Apo routinely pics fights with the Kites to try and prove himself to them. He fails every time, but the Kites still let him mostly out of pity. Poor guy clearly took the rejection hard.

- Oli is indeed actually married to the crab, he just doesn't want to admit it because, genuinely, who would?

- Cleo didn't mean to join the herons back in the days, they just drunkenly misclicked

I don't think q!Mariana would love CodeFlippa.

I know the reasons people would say that, yes, Mariana misses Flippa just like Slime, Flippa is the reason that she's not anymore around the island, the depression of losing his daughter is literally the reason why he in character he's depressed in her house, and of course Mariana would love have her family back.

But Mariana wants his real daughter.

Mari have always hated the idea of taking care of other eggs that aren't Flippa, he kinda liked other care in some way but he couldn't care less if they die or live at least that didn't affect him like Juana did, you can watch it on some of his videos where he laughed at Dapper almost dying or losing one of his life's. Also Bobby was one of the eggs he liked but she liked more messing with him, and of course we got the scene where he kinda try cheer up tilín in the trial cuz Quackity was being a neglecte father.

And the most obvious reason: Gegg

Gegg is the moment when we get Mariana's rejecting the idea of taking care other egg. Of course we see her taking (kinda) care of gegg for a minutes but he didn't liked anyway.

And the reason I mention the thing of real daughter is cuz Mariana even she misclicked Juana, he know her better.

Mariana wasn't the best mother/father, we all know that. But people like give him this character that... people act like Mariana was always neglect full with Juana and is always the bitch in the relationship when isn't always like that.

I don't why people do this but I think people act like Slime is better father when both of them are pretty lame at least in some situations. But you can tell that Slime love CodeFlippa because he couldn't live those happy moments with his daughter thanks to her early death.

Mariana isn't like that, she knew and live more things with Juana like: She like to sing, what was her favorite's artists, how she act, one of Juana favorite colors, Mariana knows that Juana is Colombiana, and other things.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I think he's always moving. Just absolutely will not be still for more than five minutes. Drumming his fingers on the desk during meetings, pacing around the room when he's waiting for something, tapping his feet whenever music comes on. If Roy's in the room, unless he's trying to be stealthy, you'll know from the sounds of him moving around. He's the first one dancing at parties, he's drumming the beat to We Will Rock You on the table, he's this constant presence that you just can't help but notice because of how much space he takes up without even trying. Also he was one of those "chewing on toothpicks" guys in his Agent Harper days. Everyone thought he was trying to be cool, but in reality he just Loathed that he needed to stand still and be professional so chewing a toothpick was the best alternative.

Also, while he's trained himself out of the habit now, he was absolutely a pencil chewer when he was a teenager. Not all of the pencils he chewed belonged to him.

Tbh I can't really see him using emojis in the traditional sense, I don't think he was ever really active on the internet. I think if he did it'd be just thumbs up or thumbs down. But, if he were to use other emojis, I think it'd 100% be like, to tease people. Garth once misclicked and sent 😚 instead of 😊 and Roy now ends every text to Garth with 😚. Alternatively, Mia once sent him this 🐱 emoji and Roy thought it was the dumbest looking cat he's ever seen and now uses it constantly.

12. The unpopular character you actually like and why more people should like them.

I'm struggling to answer this because I don't know how far-reaching the hate actually *is* for a lot of characters and how many haters are just in one small circle 😭 I guess with how rampant New 52 fans are on the site, Ollie's gotta be pretty unpopular just based on them, so I'll go with him. People should like Oliver Queen because he tries *so hard*. Is he perfect? No. He's human. And unlike some other human heroes who shan't be named, he's man enough to change. Some unnamed heroes stick so closely to the beliefs they set out at the start, but Ollie changes and adapts! I mean, he's literally a billionaire-turned-socialist. And a lot of the hate comes from his relationship with Roy, which most of it stems from like 1 panel that's taken out of context and fails to recognise Ollie's character growth. He saw addiction as a moral failing, and then re-evaluated his worldview and changed. And also he is dad <3 second dad ever (his oldest son is the first)

13. Worst blorbofication.

The obvious answer is Roy but yk what I'm gonna go against the expectation because the blorbofied Roy is basically a completely different character to my Roy, and is based in actual comics. I'm gonna go with Dick Grayson. I'm always a little scared to right about him because he contains multitudes and he's honestly one of the most complex and compelling characters in DC. That being said. I hate that fandom has basically boiled him down to "sunshine big brother". Yes, his relationships with the younger Batkids are very sweet, but also Dick Grayson is not a happy man. Dick Grayson is a bit of a bitch sometimes. I'm too tired to look for the panel right now, but there's this one panel in Outsiders (2003) where he goes off on Roy about the similarities between him and Ollie and ends it with "At least he was never a junkie", which was prompted by Roy (rightfully) calling Dick out for being disconnected from the team, I'm pretty sure not visiting Anissa in hospital was one of the things he brought up. A big fanon take I've seen is "When Dick's sad you can never tell because he puts on a smile", and while that may be true in *some* circumstances, it's absolutely not his default. Iirc Outsiders was formed after Donna's death, too, and he's sad, so he pushes everyone away and not in the martyr sense. Anyway Dick Grayson isn't the golden batkid he's the batkid who was crushed under the weight of being Bruce's partner rather than sidekick and forced to grow up too soon.

while walking toward dabi, you see him raise from his spot on the bench he was sitting on and walk your way which makes you beam instantly, those three molluscs forgotten already as soon as you saw your pretty boy stomping heavily to you “hey baby! how–”, but then you noticed the grim expression on his face and when he reached you dabi walked past your silhouette, immediately you froze on place not understanding his behavior.

“i dare ya bastard to try whistle my girl’s way once more, i’ll burn those ugly lips of yours!”, at hearing his roar you gasp loudly before turning and rushing to him, arms closed around your boyfriend’s waist in a useless try to stop him, who had his hand lifted mid-air with blue flames bursting from it, reminding the dark haired young man that he’s a wanted villain.

those three leave right away after recognising dabi and while that was a good thing, it wasn’t a relief because now the citizens around you were going to call the cops (or even worse, the heroes) on you two, which is why quickly you grab his hand and drag him along in your impromptu escapade, rushing as fast as possible somewhere you two won’t be find by whoever was probably were on your tracks.

getting into an empty alley of a secondary road that would easily get you away from danger, once made other few shortcuts and checking that no one was on sight, you finally slowed down until you didn’t came to an halt. dabi in silence behind your bended figure, watching as you try to catch your breath.

“everyone ‘s gonna be on your back now, dumbass!”, you scolded punching him on his stomach, making the boy spurt air, before glaring at him menacingly. dabi was about to talk back at you, about how it’s crazy how you’re screaming at him, when you kept talking “if you’re gonna burn those trashbags, at least do it when no one is looking.”, and that was your actual point for screaming at him, which made the villain snort amused at you, an hand lifted so his wrist could hide the little smirk curling up his lips.

he then turned to you with a tender smile on his lips, a lifted eyebrow as his right hand went to rest on top of your head gently, cerulean eyes looking down at you in that soft way he reserved to you and no one else.

“sorry i made you worry baby, next time i’ll make sure to burn them in a way that won’t put me in danger.”, with an expression that’s a mix of worry and weak menace because you’re pouting so cutely, you nod firmly at his words. his face suddenly went serious, eyebrows knitted together and the corners of his mouth downwards “it’s just... it pissed me off so much how they were objectifying you, that i didn’t really think about where i was...”, he explained frustrated, hand going now to the back of his head, still boiling with rage at the thought of those three vermins.

you stared at him in awe for a long while before wrapping your arms around dabi’s chest and snuggling against, feeling reassured right away the moment his scent surrounded you “i love you so much, best boyfriend in the world!”, at your full of energy response, the arsonist simply melted while groaning in conflict before closing his arms around your shoulders, chin resting on top of your head as he stared forward with pursed lips and cheeks tinted of red.

“what am i gonna do with you?”, he blurted out exasperated, because damn... wasn’t he one lucky man to have an amazing girlfriend such as you.

“uhm?”, you hummed looking up at him confused after not hearing well what he just said, his voice was too low.

“nothing. shall we go now?”, with that dabi just held your hand and walked slightly ahead of you, trying extremely hard to hide his flushed cheeks but failing miserably as you got a small glimpse of them as soon as you had lifted your eyes on him, a small giggle leaving your mouth as you jumped at his side all happy and giddy.

you call him cute, then he calls you out on it horrified by you saying something like that about a villain, which you argue that it’s nonsense and while bickering lovingly with each others you two finally start up your date.

Yes! I have actually sketched a comic of how they meet, but since I'm kinda busy at the moment and it's gonna have to be a bit to draw that i tell you what was about!

After the comic i did, Angel is searching through his phone on a dating app (encouraged by Violence) and sees Aki and for a misclick they match 👀

And yeah I'm excited to draw Denji and Power on this AU!!

Pink Pro Update!

The Yuri Game Jam is over, and it still feels strange to me to have submitted well in advance (Then I remembered that the deadline was pushed back by like a week, so I would have submitted just in time, but details-). Deciding to post a demo rather than the whole game turned out to be a good choice for my peace of mind.

Now, I should make a pretty and tidy (One of the two adjectives might be wrong) update, but first I want to present you a flashback from a few days ago:

So, it was said. Pink Pro. The update, yes.

Changes and additions

Since I have more time and can do things more slowly, I decided to fix a few things that I wasn't sure about.

For example, Sus's house. You can't visit it in the demo, and in a second time I'll show you a "before-after", but trust me when I say that the first version was absolutely plain and uninspiring - It's even more comical when you consider that it's reiterated how rich Sus is and how her house is ridiculously big. Now I am much more satisfied! It's certainly not the most beautiful map I've ever made, but I find it does its honest job much better than the previous one.

Among other differently useful things I decided to add there is the change of NPCs inside the Pink Jewel and the Magnolia Jane after some time.

Given that time is actually passing (I mean, something is likely to happen in the evening, right?), it seemed silly to me for the customers to be walking around the shops for 12 hours.

It doesn't impact the plot at all, but I think it gives the setting a bit more three-dimensionality.

(Yes, I also entertained the idea of changing customers with each finished order, but my imagination for NPC dialogue is very poor, I don't want to suffer).

Characters' expressions

When I made the expressions, I got a bit carried away, so now Chantal has many more than I had planned. However, this means that I didn't do some expressions that I should have done and that I came up with others-

According to my fantastic to-do list, the expressions that are missing are: 4 for Chantal, 2 for Janet (Yes, Janet has more than two expressions!), 1 for Margrit, 3 for Kenicea and Silsdia, 2 for Saster, Byma and Nicopte (Yes, she also has expressions!), 4 for Sus, Zora and Deilela. The last three might have one less, depending on how they look best.

My relationship with doing expressions is: sometimes, I get on and do them all in less than an hour, without any problem. Other times, for reasons unknown, I spend an hour doing one, which also turns out ugly.

In this case, however, it is not a matter of procrastination - I often literally just forget to do them. (๑꒪▿꒪)*

Other ideas

Since I have more time, I was thinking about adding another, simpler CG - Just coloured lineart on a unicolour background.

On the other hand, I decided to scrap a small idea I had planned to do if I had more time / for a possible update: Chantal's sweets designs.

I would like to show off her "eye-catching" style more concretely, but when I tried to draw them, I realized that was definitely not the case (Let's say, like, no one in the world would have realized that the Île flottante was an Île flottante and not an ugly sponge).

The options, then, are three:

One day I'll be able to draw better and I'll put pretty pictures for all the recipes;

One day I'll go begging for people who can draw pretty food;

Imagination is a wonderful gift, imagine these beautiful recipes in your mind ♡♡♡

Cutscenes

As for the cutscenes, however, I am exactly halfway through, at the third order. I therefore have to finish the third order, do the fourth and fifth, the final climax and the epilogue.

To reassure you, as already mentioned, in the midst of all this there are also Important Scenes, and those have all been done.

Yes, of course, it's because I'm also working on something else - I can't concentrate on the same thing for more than two days in a row if I don't have at least one side project.

Ok, so I really love your kingsgate webpage - especially the colors: the grey and monochrome makes the yellow color really pop. But I have some small "complaints". 1. The buttons on the left and right (next/last and first/previous) are a bit too close on my phone. Maybe it's just me. My screen isn't that small but on mobile the site is small. Haven't misclicked yet, but I think a tiiiny liiiiittle extra separation would be good? 2. I know this happens a lot on mobile pages, but I cannot zoom into the comic unless I change to desktop view. Otherwise it's so small that I cannot properly see/read it. Idk much about coding so a zoom option / allowing users to zoom into the comic would help? 3. Again, on mobile there's a lot of empty space at the very top, right above the title "have you heard about kingsgate". Not a dealbreaker, but I think it would look nicer without /// Hope this helps but yeah, these are some minor things. The website itself has a pretty solid design and is very user friendly. I will def continue to read the comic bc woah

bat's been trying to work on this actually, since they coded the whole thing for desktop and we only realized late in the game that the dynamic scaling makes it so zoom just doesn't work.

on that note, would having a zoom button somewhere (idk where oTL) be good for people? we're hoping to get the mobile pinch zoom thing working normally, but I'd love for a desktop zoom also since I don't actually trust my comic designing to be legible constantly. if anyone has thoughts on how it should work/where it should be, I'd love to hear!!

I honestly haven't read very many webcomics since The Early Days so I don't know much about modern conventions!

ok ok ok so i just finished this and omg

(also we're gonna ignore the....errand running i guess. I have my thoughts on it, and I'm not completely "yeeaahhhh awesome!!!" but at the same time it does give a lot of context to some parts of the main story. It's less of a drag if you do it all in one go or you do it in parts, by the way. I see it like the Dan Heng storyline- you could do it, or not, but it really helps if you do it because it's kinda cool)

okay first off- I love that we got a disabled person as a villain. Uuslaly those kinds of characters get put to the side as a kind of token character or they're the hero. Dan Shu, a blind Xianzhou Loufu native, as a villain? I'll take it. Plus, she became chief alchemist. Bonus points.

anyways moving on

dan shu is just really interesting to me. I just finished that part of the story (i took the medicine. I tried not to but I misclicked. Natasha's lesson about "don't take weird medicine" didn't stick I guess). But anywyas, her outlook on life is kind of interesting, and I'm rambling but I'll sort my thoughts out at some point. Maybe. I was an idiot and didn't record the whoie thing so I"m going off memory here.

but anyways

dan shu's talk with the little girl. I kinda feel her- she's trying to make her way through life (impressive that she's able to run around the place by herself by the way, and also let's not think about the whole "girl went to the freaking Commission right after we left it having just defeated a crazy deer" thing). On one hand I get dan shu's point. You do have to rely on yourself a bit, especially if you want to achieve certain goals. But at the same time, having company along your journey is a good thing- because yes, there wil lbe times where you can't depend on yourself alone. Which is what we kind of see with Dan Heng. He was running for years, and it's only with the Express that he really gets to sit down, breathe, and start making those connections that make life worthwhile. Also screw those idiot kids, someone tell that third kid that didn't play alogn with the cheating comment that they need better friends.

and then dan shu's search for a cure, a cure that eventually wouldn't work. Imagine how painful it would be have no sight for your entire life, then get sight, and then have it ripped from year a few years, maybe months, later. I had an opposite experience- had some sight, lost it, then regained a little- but it's definitely a change. I can't explain it, but it's like finding out that you're colorblind and trying colorblind glasses for the first time, or finding out that you needed glasses. That's the closest I can get to describing it. THen imagine those glasses are ripped from you. It's hard to go back, even if it's familiar.

and dan shu has a right to be angry. she's descriminated against in a place where not being perfect is a problem- look at all those stairs, those who aren't able-bodied must have a nightmare of a time. she has a right to want a cure, to have her views. She's not right to give out weird medicine, but I guess the rage had to go somewhere....

and that's really all the thoughts I have at the moment. this probably seems all over the place and rambly but i'm still getting it through my mind. but seriously, love the little shot ot acknowledging the unspoken in the social hierarchy from Mihoyo. Really epic to see that in my new favorite game!

(Also, yes- i am visually impaired. Let's jsut say Genshin is....a bit of a struggle when it comes to combat , haha-)
