I'm feeling very strange, friends. I've got this uncle. He's a real dick. Absolute piece of work. Physically assaulted both my grandparents on separate occasions, and I've more than once been afraid for his current wife and little daughters.
He went for a hike Saturday morning and hasn't come back. He's missing. I didn't like him, I maybe even hated him, but I didn't wish him dead. If nothing else, I don't wish that pain on my mom. But like...they haven't found him yet.
It's been a tense couple of days, and I don't really know how to feel.
I'm a spoiled brat but I'm mad I won't get to see this show because my boss wants me to get back on Friday when I don't even work weekends like what's the point of this
SALOME HASN’T MEANT TO allow the silence between the two of them to grow to be so deafening . she’s just been so all consumed with the work that needs to be done that she hasn’t had the time to think of much else . and , that is entirely her fault . when he speaks , she’s poring over her spell book , soaking up as much new information as she can about her true path as the horsewoman of death . her head snaps up , vlad immediately capturing her attention with his words as guilt begins to steadily drip through her veins . she frowns deeply , closing her spell book after marking which page she’s on , and crosses the room to stand before him . takes vlad’s hands in her own , her expression softening as she takes in the look on his face . it genuinely hurts him , she can tell . and , she hates herself for it , ❛ i’ve just been so ... focused on my path . it isn’t you , i promise you that . i’m sorry . ❜ she still loves him with all her heart .
A well-known Georgian transgender model has been murdered, local officials said, a day after the government passed legislation that will impose sweeping curbs on LGBTQ+ rights in the country.
Georgia’s interior ministry said Kesaria Abramidze, 37, was believed to have been stabbed to death in her apartment in suburban Tbilisi on Wednesday.
Georgian media later reported that a man had been arrested in connection with the crime.
Abramidze was one of the country’s first openly trans public figures. Her death follows controversial legislation on “family values and the protection of minors” that will allow officials to outlaw Pride events and censor films and books.
The law, which was approved by the Georgian parliament on Tuesday in its third and final reading, includes bans on same-sex marriages and gender-affirming treatments. It is expected to be another point of contention between Georgia and the EU as the country seeks to join the bloc.
Critics argue that the bill, initially introduced by the ruling Georgian Dream party in the summer, mirrors laws enacted in neighbouring Russia, where authorities have implemented a series of repressive anti-LGBTQ+ measures over the past decade.
Although the motive behind Abramidze’s murder remains unclear, her death was swiftly cast by Georgian civil society as part of a state campaign against minorities in the country.
Under the Georgian Dream party, which has taken an increasingly anti-liberal stance, the country has seen a rise in violence against LGBTQ+ people.
Last year, hundreds of opponents of gay rights stormed an LGBTQ+ festival in Tbilisi, forcing the event to be cancelled. This year, tens of thousands of people marched in the capital to promote “traditional family values” at an event attended by the ruling party amd the deeply conservative and influential Orthodox church.
“There is a direct correlation between the use of hate speech in politics and hate crimes,” the Social Justice Center, a Tbilisi-based human rights group, said in its statement reacting to the murder.
“It has been almost a year that the Georgian Dream government has been aggressively using homo/bi/transphobic language and cultivating it with mass propaganda means,” it added.
On Wednesday, Josep Borrell, the EU’s top diplomat, called on the Georgian government to withdraw the “family values” law, warning it would harm Georgia’s chances of joining the bloc. The legislation would “increase discrimination & stigmatisation”, he said on X.
After Abramidze’s death, Michael Roth, the Social Democratic party chair of the Bundestag foreign affairs committee in Germany, echoed that call. “Those who sow hatred will reap violence. Kesaria Abramidze was killed just one day after the Georgian parliament passed the anti-LGBTI law,” Roth wrote on X.
The introduction of the law comes just five weeks before parliamentary elections that many see as a litmus test of whether Georgia, once one of the most pro-western former Soviet states, will now drift towards Russia.
The country’s pro-western president, Salome Zourabichvili, whose functions are mostly ceremonial, is expected to veto the law before it comes into effect. However, Georgian Dream and its allies have enough seats in parliament to override her veto.
Earlier this year, the Georgian Dream also pushed through the divisive “foreign influence” law, which western critics argue is authoritarian and Russian-inspired, and has derailed the country’s EU aspirations.
Meanwhile, tributes have started to pour in for Abramidze, who represented Georgia at Miss Trans Star International in 2018 and had more than 500,000 followers on Instagram.
“Kesaria was iconic! Provocative, wise, incredibly brave! A trailblazer for Georgia’s trans rights,” Maia Otarashvili, a Georgian political scientist, wrote on X.
Zourabichvili said the murder should be a “wake-up call” for Georgian society.
“A terrible murder! The death of this beautiful young woman … should not be in vain!” the president wrote on Facebook.
hi salome!! i’m sure your inundated with asks already, but it’s been a hot minute since you’ve posted/reblogged anything (stalker core ik) and am just a bit worried,, i hope you’re doing good physically and mentally, eating and sleeping well, and just generally having the bestest of days 🫶
Hi! 💕 Gosh I don't usually drop out like this and I'm so touched that you and others have asked if I'm ok, you guys are so so sweet. I'm alive I promise! 😭
I've just been super busy with school and friends, people crawl out of their dens here in the North when the snow melts and apparently at some point I decided to become a yes man or something because I've been going out like crazy. But truth be told a close relationship ended this spring too and even if it's for the best (like I'm talking about confusing, draining, exploitative shit here 🫠) it's brought a lot of grief with it, I suffered from severe insomnia for a few weeks etc. So it's not all fun and games here and I've really had to double down on self care.
Luckily things are looking brighter now, I'm feeling so much better and school stuff will be wrapped up this week too ^^ hopefully after that I'll be back to posting 10 x a day 💅🏻😭 I miss writing so much it's not even fun anymore!
Sometimes a cishet movie is a hit in this community even without any stories or characters reflecting us (or at least not explicitly or intentionally or... tastefully). Either because of its campiness and witty banter, its drama, its weirdness, amazing soundtrack and costumes or its diva-like personality taking center stage. Please don't take this poll seriously.
Examples of movies that follow the rules below:
The Wizard of Oz (1939), Clue (1985), The Exorcist (1973), The Servant (1963), The Sound of Music (1965), Heathers (1988), Little Shop of Horrors (1986), All About Eve (1950), Jawbreaker (1999), What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962), 9 to 5 (1980).
Rules for Submissions:
Please don't fight we're literally just ranking the straightest gay movies and transest cis people. The most conforming and queer paradox.
Because of the tendency of this site to call something "gay" just because 2 conventionally attractive men stand next to each other for 5 seconds, I'm not counting shipping possibilities that much. The level of drama, camp and the number drag parodies it has is way more important than possible romantic relationships or sexual tension in submitted films. Also there's ace and aro people voting. Keep them in mind!
It has to be cishet but somehow still queer. Can be the camp, general weirdness, gnc clothes, sassiness, the inclusion of a diva, accidental coding, or some other secret option. Honestly if you find a way to reason so hard it works, you could even try to submit The Godfather (... it is very quotable...)
Submit movies that aren't just American!
Submit movies that are cult classic masterpieces or movies that objectively suck!
I love Mamma Mia but it does have gay characters. This poll came about because I found that a lot of older movies had queer fans that were able to connect to others through these movies while creating their own spaces. This was despite the movie being "straight and gender conforming". I love that there's more rep now, but I'm aiming for this to poll contain more vintage movies for a reason. and I want to expand my watchlist. I'm aware that there are movies from the 70s, 1920s, and other older eras with explicitly gay themes and characters like Victim 1961 or Salome 1920 (and I encourage you to widen your scope of historically significant films) but this isn't that poll.
Old movies with very stealth trans or gay coding with its side characters and unintentional lgbt+ coding is allowed, but you know these things can be hit or miss. Besides, I put Heathers on here even though it's homophobic. Fun but homophobic. You can submit movies with homophobia or conformist themes to a degree.
You can submit propaganda videos, text, and images! If you know any drag parodies of the movies, send them my way!
If you don't want to submit directly, you can @ me
Posts with polls will be tagged as #mlcm poll. Movies posts with #user submitted or #user submission means it was submitted through the google forms and will enter the tournament
Given that not a lot of people watch older movies, the battling polls will be paired by decade until it gets whittled down to the finals where old and young will both compete.
Competition will start May 1 in honor of The Wicker Man 1973, which i wish counted as a poll entry, but I limited myself to one movie I'd slip into the tournament despite the fact that there's not a lot of lgbt fans of the movie. And this was my runner up because I really liked The Exorcist's Regan and Karras. Unless someone else submits him, Wicker Man's not gonna be there. Rest in Peace Christopher Lee and his ugly blonde wig.

Aemond Masterlist
Aemond sighed as he strode into his chambers.
Another lengthy small council meeting that he wished he could’ve resolved with force rather than listen to the squabbling of power hungry old men.
Of course Aegon would do his best to sluff off this responsibility to Aemond.
His head and scar were beginning to ache from stress and exhaustion.
He shut the door quietly behind him and his lips already began to curve into a smile as he thought of what would be awaiting him.
The candles were extinguished, the only light provided by the quickly dying fire in the hearth.
He unlaced his boots and left them along with his outer coat and weapons by the door.
He strode over to his massive bed and smiled softly at the sight of you sleeping soundly.
What he didn’t expect, however, was his son also sleeping in the bed, curled into your side.
His tiny hand rested on your rounded stomach. He must’ve been eagerly waiting to feel his sibling move within your belly before he fell asleep.
Though he often chided you for being too soft on the boy, he loved the bond you shared with your son.
He leaned over and scooped up the little four year old in his arms.
He blinked his eyes open and looked up at Aemond.
“Kepa,” he murmured before he snuggled into Aemond’s chest.
Aemond hugged him tighter as he walked to the adjourning room that was his son’s.
He laid him down in his bed and knelt down next to it.
He ruffled his white hair and kissed him on the forehead.
“I thought we discussed you sleeping in your own bed,” he chided softly.
The boy yawned as he looked at his father.
“But I like sleeping with you and muña,” the child whined.
Aemond chuckled softly.
“I also like sleeping with her, alone, without a child in my bed,” he teased and the boy sighed.
He kissed him on the forehead once more.
“We are only in the next room if you truly feel like you need us,” he whispered.
The boy nodded, a smile on his lips that were the same shape as his father, and his eyes fluttered closed.
“Sleep, little dragon,” Aemond murmured as he rose to his feet once again.
He was fast asleep once again before Aemond even finished crossing the room.
He closed the door softly and made his way towards you, once again relishing in your beauty as you slept.
He tugged off the remainder of his clothes, leaving him shirtless and only in his underclothes before he climbed into bed with you.
You immediately, as if on instinct, rolled over and curled into him.
He wrapped his arms around you and led you to rest your head on his chest.
“‘mond,” you mumbled, “missed you.”
He smiled and pressed a kiss to the crown of your head as his hand rubbed your swollen stomach where his child grew.
“I’m here now, my love,” he replied.
You pressed a sleepy kiss to his chest.
You quickly fell back asleep in the safety of his embrace.
He took a deep breath and felt calm and relaxed, at home, with your scent around him and your warmth against him.
As sleep took him too, he couldn’t help but ponder on the joy that you brought to his life. Happiness he never thought he could experience, that he was sure he didn’t deserve, filled him, and a soft smile remained on his lips as he slept.
