It's November!
In less than two weeks it will finally be time to dedicate some creativity to a very special pair. Here's some info straight from the about page:
We encourage all sorts of media to integrate the event: Art, Fan fiction, Games, Music, Animations, Edits, and more.
To participate you must simply follow the prompts given and tag each piece for each day with #erisolweek or #erisol week. This blog will reblog and compile everyone’s work here. Mentioning @erisolweek in your post works just the same.
All levels of skill and effort are welcome, what's important is to have fun!! The more people, the better.
See you soon! ٩(^ᗜ^ )و ´-

I’m entering a “throw anything and everything” at the paper stage. You know it’s getting crazy when you start breaking out the crayons and glow-in-the-dark mod podge for a sketchbook drawing.

would you ever be interested in doing more for The Erisol Community™? maybe like a discord server or hosting a zine
Hi, Pencil here, I did try to open a discord server once, to replace an old one that got dissolved. There wasn't much interest overall so it also died out. It's still open though, if there's interest I can post a link. I am not active on discord right now but I could be if the situation calls for it. You can vote on it if you want:
As for a zine, I've thought about it! I have a lot going on irl at the moment, but one day I'd love to check if people would be interested to contribute to an art book, all non-profit of course (^v^

Reading old 80s D&D clones and found the best villain scheme ever.
While everyone is conquering the world or bringing about the apocalypse, the Riddling Reaver (from Fighting Fantasy) is planning to use an ancient artifact to alter the universe. If he succeeds, rather then everyone's moral status being easily placed into one of nine unambiguous categories, Morality will be grey, blurry and impossible to uncontroversially define. At one point someone starts panicking about the terrible possibility of having evil people who don't know they're evil.
"This fuckers going to implement moral complexity in your game and it's up to you to stop him!" is such a high-concept extrapolation of the concept of an alignment system that I can't help but love it. The villain is coming in with postmodern accounts of intersubjectivism and someone needs to stop him reading them to the GM.

Prospect Park (c. 1934)
This is one of Cpt. Rogers' earliest rendition of Prospect Park in Brooklyn, New York City. Many of Rogers' sketchbooks feature local scenes, such as this sketch, or even local residents. This particular drawing can be found deep within the sketchbook and is surrounded by numbers and other scribbles. The other half of the page has dark lines as if Rogers was trying to scribble out a drawing. That drawing is still undergoing restoration in our offices.
This newly recovered drawing has sustained numerous levels of damage due to poor preservation. Whether the poor preservation is from Rogers himself or thanks to his former neighbor's technique is up for debate. This sketchbook was found at the bottom of the stack with the covers nearly ripped off due to friction. With some examination, some dark stains on the cover, along with various pages, are from blood, as if from a bleeding nose.
