Last month I read #difficultmothers by #terriapter which was incredibly enlightening showing how we show our children, and mirror back - our understanding of who they currently are greatly impacts the bond between parent and child. . . Im currently reading #grainbrain by #davidperlmutter ... and while I’ve been familiar with his work and philosophy, it’s been so wonderful to absorb all of his wisdom and knowledge on this book. He’s a neurological doctor which makes his perspective so so valuable in addressing neurologic diseases and disorders as is relates to TS, spd, migraines, and asd. I’ve been enjoying it so much and some new supplements he recommends I haven’t heard of before to help with brain telomeres and such. . . I picked up both books at the #dollartree . The grain brain book also has recipes which helps make this #Homeschool mamas life much easier. Science book for toddlers You know there are many exceptional kids books out there. But there are just a handful it seems of them regarding science. Granted two year olds maybe a little too young to understand everything about science but you'd be surprised by some of the things they do get! In my opinion it's never too early to start reading about science to kids. I am so glad I found these books about Thermodynamics and Aerospace engineering! We read them often and now Natalia can't stop talking about how the birds fly! Υπάρχουν πολλα εξαιρετικά παιδικά βιβλία αλλά ελάχιστα έχουν να κάνουν με την επιστήμη. Μπορεί τα νήπια των δύο ετών να μην καταλάβουν τα πάντα αλλά θα σας ξαφνιάσουν με την εξυπνάδα τους! Δεν είναι ποτέ πολύ νωρίς να διαβάσουμε επιστήμη στα παιδιά! Είμαι πολύ χαρούμενη που βρήκα αυτά τα δύο βιβλία από τις εκδόσεις @psichogiosbooks που μιλάνε με απλά λόγια για την θερμοδυναμική και την αεροδιαστημική μηχανική. Finished reading this book while Lily and I have nature time in the backyard today. It hit home when I read a chapter in this book and realized that even though we have plenty of children in our neighborhood and a park/school right across the street, I have not seen one other child outside playing today. The strong theme of love and support also makes it a great one for sharing with older kids, especially as they start to take their first independent steps into the world! 🌎 The illustrations are vivid and striking, with fun details hidden throughout. But the best surprise is the group of family photos at the end of the story which were used to create the illustrations within. There is even a note at the end of the book that the author wrote to her son, who inspired her to write the book.
