⭑ Along with Tumnus, you’re also a faun. You grew up together - childhood best friends, just like your fathers.
⭑ While Mr Tumnus stayed in his childhood home (which may seem small, but that’s only because of the snow. In other seasons, the door and windows are always open, bringing light into the hovel.)
⭑ You fled into hiding with the rest of the Narnians, although your heart ached for Tumnus while you were apart.
⭑ Before you had left, Tumnus gave you his favourite handkerchief, which you had treasured for years.
⭑ As soon as you heard the news about the sons of adam and daughters of eve, you found your way, along with your people, to Aslan’s camp.
⭑ It was a glorious sight.
⭑ The mass of creatures who had come together to fight for their country.
⭑ You were in the crowd when you saw the three Pevensie’s arrive, their small statures a bit of a shock.
⭑ You offered a kind smile to each of them, especially little Lucy, who returned it with bright red cheeks.
⭑ And although you did want to approach them, you kept your distance. Although you grew up in a different culture to humans, you were self-aware enough to know how different everything would seem. You felt the same way when you were little, meeting the other Narnians for the first time.
⭑ But you overheard the name ‘Tumnus’ come from little Lucy’s mouth and your attention snapped toward her. You had rushed over and asked about him.
⭑ When you saw him for the first time in years, you ran up to him and practically leaped upon the faun.
⭑ He caught you though and held you just as tight.
⭑ The relationship was completely natural. It was as if you were an old married couple - already knowing each other’s personality, likes and dislikes.
⭑ You can speak to him about anything, and he will always listen and support you
⭑ You grow really close to Lucy, almost like being parental figures, or maybe more like an aunt/uncle.
⭑ You spend your days attending the Pevensies, making up for lost time, and visiting all of Narnia.
⭑ The conversations you have are quite philosophical, as well as inventive.
⭑ But Tumnus feels a lot of guilt about staying behind and almost giving Lucy up. He feels some type of responsibility for how the bad things turned out
⭑ You talk him through it and help him see a different point of view
⭑ Nuzzling your noses together
⭑ You kiss each other’s eyelids and it’s one of the softest acts that exist
⭑ Dancing for hours and hours with everyone, a fire blazing and music playing
⭑ Theme Song:
‘Kingdom Dance’ from Tangled
⭑ Relationship Tropes:
✧ Childhood Friends to Separated to Lovers
✧ Mutual Pining
✧ Two Sides of the Same Coin

Headcanons about when the Pevensie siblings returned to England (the first time)
When they came back to England through the wardrobe and they returned to their younger bodies, naturally all the scars they received in Narnia disappeared. All but one, the one in on Edmund’s stomach remained, the one he got at his first battle. No one really knew why he still had it, why it hadn’t disappeared it just didn’t. It was there and it served as a constant reminder of the white witch, that the experience had been real.
Everyone noticed a change in the Pevensies when they came back from the countryside. That included their teachers.
Lucy was suddenly a very clever girl, not that she hadn’t been before, but now she had a maturity to her. Her reading ability had improved immensely and she wrote the most beautiful poems.
Edmund’s demeanour had turned a whole 180°. He was more strategic, less rash. It was way more difficult to make him mad, he usually just responded with a witty comeback. And he seemed to put more effort into his work. He had always been smart, but now he was outstanding. He passed all his classes with ease, except for history that is (he kept forgetting that they had never had a king named Frank). He had also gotten very much better at chess, there was no one in the whole school they could beat him, not even the English teacher Mr. Evenly that had gotten very far in the English championship in chess. (Let’s pretend that exists even if it doesn’t)
Susan stood straighter and had a more regal look to her demeanour, not in a way that she expected everyone to obey her or anything like that. It was just very difficult not to respect her. She had gotten very good at resolving conflicts and avoid violence.
Peter had also changed a lot, he was more mature but also more rash in his decisions. He started acting more with his fists (that didn’t really start until it had been about half a year). He did write amazing novels though, stories about battles. Battles with medieval methods and weapons. The details were incredible, it was almost as he’d been in the battles himself.
They all had gotten a whole lot better at swimming. Edmund managed to save a man double his size and weight when he went through the ice. Lucy was always very fast and her technique was like nothing teachers had seen before, it was like she had been taught by a fish. (Possibly mermaid or nymph of some kind.)(Same goes for the others, I just can’t really come up with something)
All of them had nightmares but they had also become very good at controlling and hiding certain emotions behind a curtain or wall.
Edmund often got panic attacks during the cold months, especially when it snowed. Susan started making him something warm to drink every time she noticed it was getting colder or she saw snow falling before school, Peter wrapped up and cuddled Edmund in blankets and Lucy just came into his room with her warm smile and sat and talked with him. With time he wasn’t as sensitive to cold and snow and the panic attacks died down but the small rituals of the siblings having this cosy bonding time with one another continued for a lot longer.
And through all of this Helen was an amazing mother, she might not know what the change in her children was caused by but she always helped. Through panic attacks and frantic studying, she held them after nightmares and she just kept being their mother. She was their mum and raised that just as good as Narnia had.
Hope it was to your enjoyment <3

lucy, out of the goodness in her heart, is the type to knock edmund out with the very same narnian lullaby mr. tumnus played for her every time her brother shouts himself awake from the nightmares.
edmund, completely unaware of where she learned this from, appreciates it. it means a lot to him, especially when she just slips into his room with soft knocks and quiet shuffling, no questions hanging in the balance for him to digest and respond to.
bad dreams again? do you want to talk about it?
he'd rather they never talk about it at all. so that's exactly what happens. he melts into the covers once the first six notes play (the melody is really, at this rate, his sleeping elixir) and instead of scrambling through dreams smothered in white and grey, he drifts to the ones blanketed with warm and vibrant colors.
one morning, edmund generates enough curiosity to ask lucy where and from who she learned this music from. after all, he wanted to thank them for gifting him sleep, perhaps even invite them to stay at the castle to perform for the court. he expected a mundane answer; something along the lines of a dryad, or centaur, or any civilian around cair paravel. he's not prepared to hear her cheerfully answer "oh, why mr. tumnus played it when he was trying to kidnap me!"
edmund is stunned into silence. no, surely he heard that incorrectly.
what makes it worse is that today mr. tumnus is having breakfast with them. and as they have an awkward silent stare-off, mr. tumnus not denying any of the queen's words, lucy begins to understand the gravity of her statement. in a fit of nervous giggles, she pulls out her instrument to play the lullaby again and knocks them both out.
(susan and peter walk into the dining hall and find mr. tumnus and edmund respectively passed out over their breakfasts. susan is alarmed, peter makes a beeline towards the pancakes and is unfazed by ed's predicament — you'll be surprised how many times his brother has fallen asleep on his jam-topped toast.)

Being the youngest Pevensie sibling in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (gn!reader)
A/N: This will be set in the first movie, maybe I will do more parts for the next ones other time. Reader is going to be 1-2 years younger than Lucy (so 7 or 6 years old). This gif is not mine and english is not my first language, sorry for any mistakes!
Tumblr media
Helen (Mrs. Pevensie) said goodbye to you in the train station after all your siblings, she kissed your forhead and said "Be good Y/N, listen to your brothers and sisters"
Everyone squeezed each other as they looked out of the train's window, saying goodbye to your mother one last time
When the train arrived at the destination, every kid was picked up, and you and your siblings were the last ones
You got tired after waiting a long time, so Peter carried you
No matter your gender, I think you would share rooms (with Edmund or Susan and Lucy) at Professor Kirke's house, but if that isn't possible you would have a room for yourself near your siblings
Or one of the eldest would sleep in the couch (probably Peter)
Discovering the wardrobe with Lucy:
The youngest often follows their older siblings
Since Peter was counting when playing hide and seek, Susan hid in a trunk and Edmund didn't want anyone with him, you followed Lucy
When both of you went in the room and found this thing covered in cloth, you were immedeatly curious
Lucy took the cloth off revealing a wardrobe, and gave you a look before entering, Peter was almost done counting
You entered the wardrobe and almost closed the door, you and Lucy looked through the small opening and then it closed completely
When some strange things touched your hands, you were confused
Until turning around and finding an amazing place covered in snow
Lucy grabbed your hand
"Stay close to me"
You walked to the light post and screamed when a strange creature appeared
Few seconds went by when your sister started walking and grabbed one of the packages the creature dropped and gave it to it, you did the same thing
After some talking, it was discovered that the creature was a faun, who thought the little humans were dwarfs
"I'm not a dwarf! I'm a girl! And actually, I'm the tallest in my class" -Lucy
Then he asked if you were children of Adam and Eve
"Well, our mum's name is Helen"
He said you were human, and seemed afraid while saying that
Lucy explained how you got there
Some time after, you found out the faun is called Mr.Tumnus
You spent time in his home, but he rushed Lucy and you back to the light post
You were both back in the room with the wardrobe, and it seemed you appeared in the exact moment you left
Edmund was still in his hiding spot and Peter approached the three
When you and Lucy tried to explain everything, they didn't believe you
Discovering the wardrobe with the rest of the siblings:
When Peter started counting, you looked around the room some seconds before running to a door
You ended up hiding under a couch in a hallway
When Lucy came back and tried to tell everyone about Narnia, nobody believed her except you
But after seeing the woods, they apologized to you two
Now your relationship with each Pevensie sibling
Peter Pevensie
He would be the most protective, since you are the youngest
I'm not sure if he knows how to play chess, but if he does, he would teach you
He would also read you stories before bed
Susan Pevensie
Would teach you lots of things
Makes you read books that can teach you something useful (in her words)
I feel both of you plus Lucy would learn to bake together before the war happened
Edmund Pevensie
Would bother you and make jokes, but not in a really harmful way (he wouldn't literally bully you)
I think he would also be protective
And be like: You can't make fun of my little siblings, only I can!
Lucy Pevensie
Since she is the closest in age to you, you would have the best relationship from all the siblings
But that doesn't mean you aren't close with the others
Lucy is your playmate
Play time is always fun, because the imagination both of you have is big
The last scenes (this one will be short because I don't have much ideas, and I don't know what your gift from the santa would be)
You were at the stone table, the place where Aslan died, with your older sisters
When Lucy helped Edmund with her gift you were so relieved
Everyone hugged, and they were all very happy
Then the coronation came
You were nervous but excited
By how I imagine the youngest Pevensie is (creative, with a big imagination, kind, extrovert and how she acted before and in Narnia), I think you would be named something like King/Queen/Monarch Y/N the Believer or Dreamer
Aslan was gone, that made you a little sad
Many years went by and life was great
Everyone grew up
One day, you and your siblings were hunting a stag when you found the wardrobe
The five of you entered it
And suddenly you were in Professor Kirke's house again, as children

Would the Narnia characters be on tumblr?
Peter
No. Peter Pevensie has never and will never know of tumblr because he is a magnificently well-adjusted human being. The only social media he is aware of is Facebook and Instagram.
Susan
She used to be on tumblr, specifically on the aesthetic-and-sad-prose side of tumblr. Susan was your og tumblr hipster. Definitely has a drawn-moustache-on-index-finger selfie buried deep down somewhere. She made a galaxy diy shoes once.
(She also used to have a keep calm and carry on banner in her bedroom but she will deny it until the day she dies.)
Susan has long since left tumblr and she is barely active on social media these days, only occasionally posting a picture on Instagram or getting roped into a TikTok trend by Corin. She still rocks a fishtail braid from time to time though.
Edmund
He wasn't, but he is now. He used to make fun of Lucy for being on the fandom side of tumblr, but the quarantine and the tumblr memes he found on Instagram explore persuaded him to make one in secret. He is now addicted. Unknowingly, Lucy is one of his mutuals and they ship the same unhinged crack pairing.
Lucy
Yes. Totally. 100%.
Lucy is your tumblr elder, she's been here since the start of tumblr civilization, she was here during tumblr Renaissance Era of SuperWhoLock domination, and she will be here when tumblr reaches its end. If tumblr had a million users, Lucy is one of them. If it only had one user, then Lucy is the only one there. If it had zero user, then it means Lucy Pevensie is dead, buried, and there is no internet access in the afterlife.
Lucy still religiously uses Supernatural gifs as reaction because Lucy Pevensie never forgets her roots (and because Supernatural has reaction gifs for everything).
Lucy is also active on fandom twitter.
Caspian
He made a tumblr account once because he wanted to look at ship (actual ship, not fandom ship) arts and he must have an account to explore more. Caspian has long since forgotten of its existence.
Eustace
No. Eustace is anti social media. He doesn't want the government to spy on him. He only has LinkedIn for 'professional purposes'.
(and also a secret twitter account he uses to have anonymous internet fights.)
Jill
Yes. But she only uses it a normal amount, which is only barely, two times a week at most. She is a twitter girly who migrated because of you-know-who.
Corin
No. He is a devout Gen Z TikTok user.
Cor/Shasta
No. Social media confuses him and he is barely able to manage his own Instagram account. Every time he hears about a new social media he dies a little more inside. (Just how many more of these things do you need?! -Cor, inwardly).
Aravis
Yes. She is a new user though. Lucy helped her to get one and they both follow each other. Aravis' tumblr is full of movie scenes and Kate Sharma edits.
Trumpkin
No. He thinks social media is ridiculous.
Trufflehunter
No, unfortunately. But Trufflehunter is a very famous baking influencer on every other platform.
Mr. Tumnus
Yes. He is your favourite tumblr professional writer.
Jadis
She used to have one until she got banned. You guess why.

Narnia HC
After the Pevensies were crowned, Edmund avoided Tumnus for a long time. When Lucy confronted him about it, Edmund broke down and confessed that he felt so ashamed of telling Jadis that Tumnus had met Lucy, that he was sure Tumnus hated him, that he didn’t feel worthy of Tumnus’s friendship or forgiveness.
So Lucy dragged him down to talk to Tumnus about it. Tumnus assured Edmund that he didn’t hate him, that he didn’t even blame him, because Jadis had drugged and manipulated Edmund, that it wasn’t Edmund’s fault what she had done.
Ed and Tumnus actually became very good friends.

Mr Tumnus enjoys all different kinds of teas. His favorites though are herbal teas since they are easiest to make in Narnia. The Pevensies taught him about teas in their world and they all compare Narnian teas with human teas.

Narnia headcanons: characters + how they take being sick
Peter: baby. Absolute needy baby. He's sick and he's miserable and everyone needs to feel sorry for him and take care of him. Will put on a good face in public because he knows the High King has to project strength and security but with family and friends he's just absolutely Suffering. The only time he's stoic is when he's seriously injured and doesn't want to scare his siblings (but then they're scared anyway because they can tell it's serious). Also so bad at not scratching scabs, bug bites, etc. All his siblings learn how to automatically say "Peter, don't scratch" whenever he has something they know he's going to pick at.
Peter: *absently starts picking at a scab*
Edmund, chucking a pillow at him from across the room without looking up from his book: peterdon'tscratch
Peter, indignantly: I wasn't!
Susan: the only one of the lot who acts halfway sensibly when sick. As long as she has a good supply of books and tea she will settle down and rest, though she does have a tendency of ignoring when she's starting to get sick. Running Narnia is a full time job; she can't afford to rest today, but tomorrow, or the day after, things will be quieter, and then ofc they never are. The others learn to watch when she starts getting extra snappy, because it means she's feeling bad and muscling through it, and they need to take some of her work off her hands so she can be convinced to go rest
Edmund: Thinks he'll enjoy the chance to lie around doing nothing but gets restless within a day, and then is grumpy and sulky. Like Susan, has a tendency to push himself when he starts getting sick, making it worse in the long run, except he's better at hiding it
Lucy: goes back to running around doing stuff the instant she starts feeling better, and then is worse again the next day. This happens every time and she never learns. Her friends/family make sure at least one of them sits with her when she's sick so they can make sure she stays in bed (imagine Mr. Tumnus playing her lullabies and telling her about all the magical sights and scenes they'll go see once she's better but that means resting first or the Beavers chattering away to her or Susan reading to her or Edmund telling her increasingly wild tales about what's supposedly going on in Narnia without her and occasionally physically sitting on her out of purest duty as an older sibling (Lucy: I can murder you without leaving this bed!) or Peter insisting he has to leave the busy everything that wants the High King's attention right this moment because he has an important matter to attend to and the important matter is cuddling his little sister and promising she can get out of bed soon or poor confused Caspian distracting Lucy by letting her teach him the rules of those hand-clapping games (a 30-second wikipedia dive also leads me to believe rock-paper-scissors would have made it to Britain by the 1940s))
Caspian: probably that one person who never gets sick. Even when a bug's going around and everyone else is hacking and snotty and miserable, he's fine and everyone hates him. The few times he does get sick, it's randomly in the middle of summer when no one else is sick and he hasn't gone out in the rain or done anything differently than usual and no one gets how he's sick now. Caspian is quietly melodramatic and just. resigns himself to death. Guilt trips people into taking care of him almost as much as Peter, except that he's not actually trying. Peter finds it very unfair people are sympathetic to Caspian and not to him
Eustace: whiny whiny baby and hypochondriac that convinces himself he's dying. Is lucky the internet has not been invented yet because he would end up on webMD, certain he has everything

In the episode don’t ever change, why do you think house changed his mind about amber and okayed Wilson’s relationship with her?
Hi anon, I’m so sorry for the delay in getting back to you! I don’t usually get asks and I didn’t see your message.
Ok, so. The theme of the episode is that people are capable of change. House repeats over and over again throughout the episode that no one changes, but the ep points out that he, Wilson and Amber changed (and so did the patient). House accepts Wilson’s partner, Wilson is suddenly attracted to a woman who is self-assured (and not needy) and Amber is no longer necessarily putting herself first.
I think House accepts Amber due to the fact that he respects her and that he deeply sympathizes with what she says: that her whole life she had to chose between love or respect, and she always chose respect. With Wilson, for the first time, she gets to have both. And that this combo is worth more than a fellowship or a job. House gives her a stunned look at that, and I think he realizes he is the same and that Wilson is also the only person capable of giving him both love and respect. And we know House is the same: at the end of all things, when he is about to lose Wilson, House did give up his job and career for Wilson’s love and respect. Back to the scene: when Amber is about to leave the office House says “You’ve changed” with a knowing smile and Amber replies “I hope so”, telling us that she did change and that House’s screaming at the top of his lungs that no one changes is a lie. She did change, for Wilson. House understands that and respects it (and he respects her as a doctor too, as he says she had a good guess about the patient’s diagnosis). So he finally accepts her as Wilson’s partner and part of Wilson’s life (and a part of House’s life by proxy).
My personal headcanon tho? The episode also has to do with House 100% admitting to himself he loves Wilson in a romantic and sexual way too. The C plot (or D plot, I’m not sure anymore) is about how both Foreman and House clock Thirteen as bisexual. In my headcanon that’s about two established characters who are queer (in my headcanon) nodding to Thirteen in a “I see you” way. While House might have been in love or attracted to Wilson before, or maybe even acted on it in a friends with benefits way or however else, this is the episode to me where House changes and in his own head logically accepts what he truly feels for Wilson. It is also the episode where House says he doesn’t do self-sacrifice, and we know he does exactly that for Wilson at the end of this season, and at the end of the series as well. So to me he also accepts Amber because he likes the idea that Wilson is with a proxy for himself—Mr ‘So Far In The Closet I’m Shaking Mr Tumnus’ Hand’ Wilson can’t be with House, but at least he chose a House proxy, and showed he is capable of change in chosing a romantic partner who is like House. I hope this also makes it clear why I love the House/Wilson/Amber ot3 so much. The three of them have such deep respect for each other (even if they bicker all the time), and I do think House would also be capable of giving Amber love and respect (and Amber would also be capable of the same), as they all so deeply crave.
Sorry this is so long, nonny, but I hope it made sense. Thanks for the ask!

Czar Agskaga - A Random Snippet Story
Warning: Slightly on a steamy side (nothing too crazy, it's on the light side), naga (half human, half snake beings)
The story I wrote was inspired by a question from @wyyvernn . She asked: If my original character played an instrument, what would it be?
I imagine him playing the dudek flute or any sort of flute. Remember the Narnia Lullaby that Mr. Tumnus plays? That's the exact song that came to mind that Czar would play. The dudek flute is also what was used for the recording of the song.
Enjoy the story down below!
**Play the Narnia Lullaby in the link above for added ambience to the story if you wish!**

It was a quiet evening within the Amber Palace. Waves crashing along the shore, the smell of incenses of rose and lavender filling the naga prince's chamber.
"Your Highness," the maiden called out behind the silken drapes, "I have the fruits you've asked for."
"You may enter." The prince said, inviting her into the chamber.
Walking in, she carried a woven tray. It was filled with all sorts of freshly picked fruit. Apples of jade, violet ripe berries. She made her way to Czar, careful not to step on his glossy onyx, red and gold pattern coils. The tray was placed upon a table beside the prince.
She stepped back, lowering her head, "Is there anything else you need, your highness?"
His upper tanned body slightly turned. Crimson eyes fell upon the maiden. He notice her shouched shoulders, unbalanced posture. Czar emitted a soft hiss as the end of his black tail reached toward her. Delicately, his tail tilted her head upward to face the handsome prince.
"S-sire?" Shyly she gasped from the cold touch. Her freckled cheeks blushed a delicate shade of plum.
Oh yes, indeed, her eyes lacked of sparkle. Dark circles beneath those beautiful, soft eyes.
The cool touch of his tail moved away.
Czar's hand reached toward one of the apples on the tray. "I noticcced your a bit exhausssted. Here," he tossed the apple to her, "you dessserve a break."
"But...but your--"
"Pleassse dear, call me Czar."
"Czar, what of my duties?" Confusion appeared on her face.
He slithered toward the cozy floor cushions, "Relaxxx my lovely girl. You've been hard at work all day, ssserving me and my uncle." His coils twisted and wrapped around the pillows and low table. He gestured a spot across from the table, "Pleassse, won't you join me?"
I guess it wouldn't hurt to sit for a while, she thought to herself. With a small smile she eased herself onto the large floor pillow. The maiden savored the crisp apple offered by the prince. She relished the taste with every bite.
"Ssshall I play sssomething for you darling?" His faded inked arm reaches over behind him. A beautifully carved wooden flute appeared.
"I found thisss the other day. Perhapsss you'd like to hear a sssong or two?"
The maiden swallowed before answering, "I would very much like to hear."
The naga smiled, placing his lips around the mouthpiece. Eyes closed, he began to play.
It was ethereal. Soothing to the ears. His fingers delicately danced upon the holes as he played. Otherworldly, almost as if she was transported back to the ancient city of Draca Isla, the once home of naga's and dragon's. She could smell the earthy damp rock, the sweet fragrance of amber lilies growing in the wild.
The pillow underneath the maiden began to sink. Or was it just her imagination?
Czar's ruby eyes opened to only darken as he took notice of the maiden's dreamy eyes. The half eaten apple dropped to her side. He smiled as he played, continuing his enchanting melody.

Leaving Home
Fandom: Trials of Apollo Rating: Gen Genre: Family/Hurt/Comfort Characters: Jerry, Yan, Jerry's Mum It's a long way from London to New York, and an even longer way when it means leaving behind your family. At least Jerry still had Yan, though. TOApril day 4 - Facing the Unknown, and I continue to write about the youngest canon Apollo kids, apparently. Given how little we know about them, this is of course completely full of headcanons. I have spent entirely too much time thinking about the logistics of a London kid and a Hong Kong kid ending up at Camp, whoops... And am I relishing writing a canonically British kid and not having to overthink whether or not an American kid would say that? Of course not, why would you ever think that? (Yes, yes I am)
Heathrow Airport was huge.  Jerry was a born and bred Londoner; crowds didn’t bother him, and while he knew to keep his few valuables – wallet, passport – hidden away beneath layers of clothing where it wasn’t going to get lost or stolen, he had no fear of bodies pressing against him as they rushed past on their way to wherever they were trying to get to.
Jerry wasn’t rushing.  He didn’t want to rush, because this was scary.
Not the crowds at the airport.  That wasn’t scary.  Jerry was used to crowds, grew up with them, knew how to dart through bodies to get where he needed to be.
He gripped his mum’s hand more tightly as he watched his suitcase – it was huge and heavy and also far, far, too small – trundle down the conveyor belt to get eaten by the thick dangling plastic strips and disappear from sight.  It started to feel real, now, and Jerry’s stomach was churning because he didn’t want it to be real.
It had been scary when the thing had attacked him, all claws and teeth and dangerous, and he laughed about the old janitor with a limp battering the thing away with a sopping wet mop when he thought about it, because that was funny.  A monster wanting to kill him and only not killing him because the janitor was actually a satyr like Mr Tumnus from that book his junior school had forced him to read, except this Mr Tumnus was a good fighter and something about his mop had made the monster explode into dust, was scary.
Even if the satyr thing was sort of cool.
No amount of satyr Mr Tumnus coolness (except Mr Tumnus was not cool, Jerry hadn’t really liked him, but then he hadn’t really liked the book, anyway.  Peter with his sword was pretty cool, and some of the creatures were, but Lucy was annoying and Edmund was stupid and he didn’t even remember the name of the other girl) could make up for this, though.  One too-big but also too-small suitcase full of all his favourite clothes and cricket bat and mum’s ball and crowds in an airport, and holding his mum’s hand tightly as though he was a baby.
Jerry didn’t want to leave.  He didn’t want to go to America, or New York, or whatever the name of the camp he was being sent to was.  He wanted to stay in London, watch Middlesex’s next match at Lords because he knew Grandma had promised Mum to buy him tickets, play with his friends, and keep training to be the England captain when he was grown up.
He couldn’t be England’s captain if he wasn’t even in England!
Stupid monsters attacking him.  Stupid camp in America he had to go to.  Mum wasn’t happy about it, either, but she’d been firm when he’d tried to tell her he wasn’t going.  He’d eavesdropped on her Skype calls with some bearded guy that apparently ran the camp, and she’d had a lot to say that didn’t sound happy, but she was still sending him away.
Jerry had tried every trick he could think of to not go, but now all his favourite stuff was going on the plane – all his favourite stuff except his mum – it was all real and big boys don’t cry but Jerry wanted to so badly.
The stupid airport had barely anything to do.  It had crowds everywhere but they were all queues, either for the Costa Coffee that Mum had taken him to earlier, letting him have a triple chocolate muffin for breakfast, or for the big metal arches that everyone had to go through one at a time.
Everyone who was going on a plane, anyway.
Those metal arches were where Jerry was going to have to say goodbye.
They were where Mum was guiding him now, looking at her watch and then the departure boards.  Jerry didn’t get what the rush was – it was still hours until that stupid plane to New York took off – but she was acting like they were running out of time and he needed time to stop, go backwards, make it so that this didn’t happen at all.
Yan appeared next to him, with just their backback slung over one shoulder carelessly now their own big case had also been munched by the heavy plastic strips.  Mum didn’t let Jerry wear his like that, and Jerry knew better, anyway.  Yan had lived in London for a year but they still hadn’t worked out that being careless with bags was stupid.
Jerry liked the older kid.  They didn’t make fun of him for not being able to spell, or for caring more about cricket than school (who cared about school more than cricket, anyway?).  He hadn’t known them very long, because they were in the year above him and the older years didn’t mix with the younger years, but he’d met them a few times in the gym, and on the playing ground at lunch time.  They were good with throwing a ball, and good at batting, too, even if they still refused to admit cricket was the best sport in the world.
They’d also been there when he was attacked.
When they were attacked, because Jerry wasn’t the only one being forced on a plane to stupid America-New-York-Camp-Stupid, but Yan didn’t seem to care much.
But Yan’s mum was back in Hong Kong and Jerry didn’t think they’d spoken to her much since they’d arrived in England.  They hadn’t said much about why they were in London without their mum, why they called the adults they lived with Mr and Mrs with manners and nothing else, but Jerry thought this wasn’t the first time they’d been told they had to go move elsewhere.
Yan didn’t say stupid things like “you’ll enjoy it” or “you won’t even miss England once you’re there” or any of the other things Mum had tried to say, and not-Mr-Tumnus had tried to say.  Yan didn’t say anything at all on the topic, agreeing with him that America was full of heathens that didn’t understand how to play a perfectly good game instead.
At least he was going with Yan, if he had to go with anyone, Jerry supposed.  Yan was pretty cool.
The man that met them near the metal gates had a big smile and sharp cheekbones.  His ears were kinda pointy, which was weird but also cool.  Jerry hadn’t known people could have pointy ears like that.  He wore a smart dark blue suit and a colourful red, dark blue and white tie, which looked a lot like the sorts of things the flight attendants wore on the billboards.
“Hey there, kids,” he said, and he had a weird accent, mostly British but with a little bit of a twang when he said hey.  “My name’s Geoff and I’ll be looking after you guys until we meet with your escort Stateside.”
Jerry didn’t want to go with him.  Going with him meant saying goodbye to Mum and he didn’t know when he would see her again, because she wouldn’t say when he asked!  All he knew was that this was because he got attacked, because his Dad had ways to keep him safe if he went to America that apparently couldn’t happen here, in London.
No-one had told him how Yan fit into this, exactly.  The older kid was looking at the flight attendant intently, before nodding.
“Yan,” they said.  “They/them.”
Jerry prepared to punch the guy if he said anything mean.  Almost everyone at school, including the teachers, and insisted on calling Yan he for stupid reasons like “you’re a boy,” when Yan wasn’t, and not-Mr-Tumnus had been one of the few cool adults that didn’t.
The guy didn’t say anything stupid, though.  “Neat!” he said instead, “thanks for telling me.  You okay with ‘guys’ or do you want me to drop that?”  He didn’t even sound sarcastic, and Jerry saw Yan relax a little.
“Guys is fine,” they said, and Jerry saw them grin, a little bit.  They liked this guy, he realised, and that meant he couldn’t be mean to him, because Yan didn’t like many people.
“I’m Jerry,” he said, and because Yan had, he added, “he/him.”
They got another grin from Geoff.  “He/him for me, too,” he said, a bit late but it was better than pretty much everyone else.  “We’ve got to tackle security soon,” he added, and Jerry frowned, because that meant leaving.  Geoff put a hand on his shoulder and he wanted to snap at him to mind his space, but there was a look in his eyes that made Jerry falter.
“I-” he started, and to his horror he started crying after all.
Mum grabbed him in a tight hug.  “Oh Jerry,” she said, and her voice was shaky.  “You’re so brave.  Get Chiron to call me when you arrive, and screw the timezones.  I expect you to Skype me regularly, okay?”
She’d said all of that before, back before Jerry had had to say goodbye to his bedroom and its weirdly bare walls.  His posters were carefully rolled up in his too-big-too-small suitcase, too.  Jerry had already promised all of that, but he promised it again, sobbing and trying not to feel like a baby.
Yan and Geoff had walked away a few steps, he discovered when Mum finally pulled back, but not after leaving a disgustingly wet kiss on his forehead.  “I love you, Jerry,” she told him firmly.  “Never doubt that.”
“Love you too, Mummy,” he admitted, wiping his eyes with his sleeve because he was not a crybaby.  Yan’s host family had left them at the entrance as soon as they’d seen him and Mum, and Yan had simply shook their hands and thanked them for letting them live under their roof for the past year.  They hadn’t cried.
He didn’t know if they had when they’d left their mum, though.  Maybe they had.
Maybe Jerry would be brave enough to ask, one day.
“Ready to go on your adventure?” Geoff asked him, and Jerry wasn’t but Yan was waiting for him and he was done being a crybaby.
“I’m coming,” he said, and gave Mum one last, tight squeeze around the middle, before he straightened his back and walked away.
Yan slipped their hand into his and squeezed it lightly.  Boys didn’t hold hands, but Yan wasn’t a boy so that was fine.  Jerry squeezed it back, tighter.
He was still terrified, but he could be brave.  He wiped his eyes furiously as Yan and Geoff led him towards the metal arch and once he was certain they were dry he turned around.
Mum was crying, but she was smiling, too, and he waved at her, not stopping until Yan led him around a corner and he lost sight of her.
“It’s rough,” Geoff said as he directed them into putting their backpacks and coats into deep plastic trays, and made them take their shoes off.  He did the same thing.  “I was about your age when I had to move to the States without my Mum, too.  Don’t let anyone tell you you’re not brave for doing it, because it’s hard and by the gods we deserve medals for that.”
Yan snorted.  “I want two medals, then,” they said.
Geoff grinned.  “I’ll see what I can manage,” he promised.  “Now, through the box you go, then we’ll go watch the planes come in from the VIP lounge until ours gets here.  How does that sound, guys?”
VIP lounge.  Jerry supposed he liked the sound of that, at least.

Hello wifey! Just wanted to drop in a request for a Chronicles of Narnia headcanon. Specifically dating Susan and being a Fawn (like Mr. Tumnus)? It would make my day <3

SFW
✦ First seeing Susan when it was her and her sibling’s coronation.
✦ You were Tumnus’ good friend; growing up together. However, because of the White Witch’s reign, you went into hiding with the rest of your family
✦ When the evil was conquered, you and Lucy became close friends. She wanted to know all the Narnians personally. Yet Susan was busy learning as much as she could about Narnia’s history
✦ Showing the Pevensie’s all the secrets about the forests. This helps with defense and battle strategy
✦ Susan definitely smells like Lavender and Angelica
✦ You’re a very lively Fawn; curious, adventurous. You and Lucy get along so well.
✦ That’s how you and Susan officially met -
✦ Lucy had brought you to the castle, wanting you to meet her siblings. She has such a soft spot for you that she never wants to leave your side
✦ Susan was going to chastise Lucy for being childish, but Edmund reminded her that Lucy was the reason they were here in the first place
✦ Bonding with Susan in nature; as Fawn you’re most at home when you’re near earth. Meaning the woods/forest, grassy plains, water, etc. Anything to do with the natural world
✦ Gaining Susan’s full respect when you teach her about things. Like Narnia’s history, or different creatures and how they co-exist. She loves to learn and understand. So when you educate her ... she finds it incredibly endearing ...
✦ Her being so so soft with you once you get together. She treats you like a flower. Her hands are so delicate when they touch you. She always wants to know you’ve had something to drink and eat
✦ She gives off such mum energy > she would definitely run after you making sure you’re healthy and intact
✦ Doesn’t let ANYONE talk down to you
✦ Taking her to meet your family (she wants to meet them in their home, so they’re comfortable)
✦ But then once they get to know her, she invites them to the castle
✦ Lucy absolutely ADORING your relationship with Susan!!!
✦ Slow dancing with Susan in the candlelight
✦ Forehead touches; leaning your heads together
✦ Peter being wary of you, but once he got to know you he liked you. I think he just wants someone good enough for his sister
✦ Edmund REALLY likes you. I think he would be in an atonement period since the White Witch and he doesn’t want to kick up a fuss
✦ Asking for Susan’s help when one of your siblings get into trouble
✦ Training in swords, daggers and bow & arrows with the Pevensies’.
✦ Relationship tropes/dynamics:
↬ ‘Chaotic w/ a soft spot + Normal but also chaos enabler’
↬ You thinking Susan hates you but she’s deeply in love with you
↬ ‘Mum friend + Reckless asf’
  ↬ Opposites attract
✦ (Also I don;t want ANY Edmund slander!!!!!!!)

there's just something so captivating about the siblingship that edmund and lucy share throughout their lives.
like they were both born into a battlefield and, in the midst of war, one learns how to grow into the horrors that surround him while the other maintains a childlike simplicity. because of this, there's so many misunderstandings between the two children, a clash between the cynic and the idealist.
war has taken away much of their family. their father, their mother. both know this, and it affects them in different ways. but, then again, war has also changed him, spared him, and given him back. edmund never forgets.
because of this, there's an unspoken promise the two share between them.
you know i'll always have your back, right? you know that, no matter the circumstances, i'll always believe in you? i'm right behind you, i'll never leave you.
they're victors in their own right, heralding a golden age that no other royal could hope to outshine; but in the shadows, no one notices how much they've lost and lost and lost.
mum. dad. mr. tumnus, the beavers, oreius, and more.
because of this, there's no argument in the world that could ever tear them apart like that ever again. war separated many, but in turn it made them inseparable.

narnia headcanons pt. 3 because why not
- edmund loves plants. he keeps so many in his room and loves to walk or read in the gardens. he cannot, however, keep any of them alive for more than two weeks.
- peter is actually a very sore loser. although it rarely happens, whenever the siblings have some free time, they'll play some games together. and if peter so happens to lose, he'll make a big fuss out of it, claiming the others were cheating, etc. lucy always finds this behavior, especially coming from peter, hilarious.
- the beavers always made sure to have dinner with the pevensie's at least twice a month. they always made sure they knew they could come to them if they needed anything, especially during their first couple of years in narnia, since they were still children.
- mr. tumnus never stopped looking for the pevensie's after they disappeared. even on his deathbed, his last thoughts consisted of begging aslan to bring them home someday and that they were at least safe and healthy, wherever they might be.
- after the train crash, susan put as much distance as she could between her and her mother. susan knew that the crash was related to something with narnia. every time she saw her mother, it reminded her of her siblings and of the fact that she should've been there and done something. anything.

Narnia Headcanons: Lucy and Soren
- They met a week before their wedding, arranged in order to solidify Narnia's claim on the Lone Islands.
- Soren was very quiet, so quiet Lucy thought he must dislike her and would have preferred Susan. When she suggested this, he immediately assured her that wasn't the case, he was simply nervous.
- Soren brushed Lucy's hair for her the day after the wedding and this quickly became a daily routine for them.
- They fell in love over a period of years. Soren first realized it during one of Bacchus's feasts while watching Lucy dance and Lucy realized it the next morning after he finished brushing her hair.
- Lucy's first Christmas gift to Soren was a whittling knife as his father had told her his son was fond of woodcarving. Soren immediately carved Lucy a bracelet with it.
- Soren's first Christmas gift to Lucy was a set of hair ribbons and a book on war tactics, both things he knew she'd like thanks to Mr. Tumnus.
- they were a quietly affectionate couple and were good at reading each other's needs.
- Soren called Lucy, Lily, and Lucy called him Ren.
- Soren was referred to as King Soren the Soft by Telmarens but Narnians called him King Soren the Warrior.
- Soren wielded an axe and was known for being fierce on the battlefield, a direct contrast to how he was off of it. Only fools thought Soren was weak.
- Soren got along well with all his in laws but was closest to Peter.
- Whenever he got homesick, Soren and Lucy would go sit by the docks and watch the ships come in and out.
- Having Una was nerve wracking for them both but they both found they made fine parents.
- Soren was polite to Rabadash, mostly because he was their host. The Calormen felt he was always in danger around Soren though, especially if Lucy was there too.
