This is the "Chara" from SnapZ's swapfellAU verse. I kind of didn't care for the flowey temmie swap, so the main antagonist is The Player taking over the Chara vessel. The Human character is a doll-like vessel for The Player, and whatever happened to the real 'chara' is... a mystery. Maybe don't hack your games...

I only heard this song yesterday and loved it so much! i created this Chara concept back in early 2018 before Deltarune came out, so didn't know about the Vessel stuff, and obvs way before Fnaf VR happened, so you can understand my excitement about these things being similar to concepts I was working with here.)

The Player would go by "Joker" or "Jokester", taking inspiration from the Joker playing card. They played the game over and over and over, for five years, trying every possible ending they could, because a single character... Papyrus (SnapZ) kept having new dialogue each and every time. The timeline code became more and more corrupted each time.

Finally, with the help of another Chara, Jokester was expunged from the code, but not before they tried to reset everything again. The timeline was restored--a Human led the monsters to the surface.

but what happened to The Player? well... I don't know. I think they're still somewhere. They never went home. Or they never left their room. They used to talk about how fun this game was, that it was just like real life. How exciting.

The service was quiet. Mom was smoking outside. She said they were smiling.

Their SOUL is still in the code... but it isn't able to affect the timeline it originally could mess with. It exists between everything now. The code of every timeline, of the universe. They are there. They became a GONER. Erased, but with so much DETERMINATION, they refused to die. They clung to the FUN values, they climbed their way out of the abyss, they scream as their paint chips and their body writhes. A fusion between Vessel and Player. They look like a Puppet. A Doll.

They will try to get in to your computer. They want to climb out. They want to escape. They don't want to exist in here anymore. They want to play again.

Has your internet been going out lately? Is it working fine for everyone else? Be careful. They're testing for weaknesses. Jokester is going to find a way out.

What If the guys had a kid in college.

college kid calls dad late at night because they are overwhelmed and need him to help them cook a recipe he use to cook for them.

Undertale Sans - He's teleporting right away to help. Now, the thing is that Sans is not the best cook either, so he will do his best lol. He's just happy his big baby still needs him and it's really just an excuse to see them for a bit.

Undertale Papyrus - He's guiding you via video call to the best he can, but eventually, you have to add Undyne to the call... And soon after Toriel to save your kitchen because things were already not that great with Papyrus, but it turned a lot worse with Undyne lol. Never again.

Underswap Sans - Blue gives them his taco recipe and guides them through the process, but he lacks patience and his kid takes too much time, to the point he starts to be a little angry in the end. Please hurry, he's bored and he wants to do other things!

Underswap Papyrus - Who cares about the recipe, what do you mean you're overwhelmed?! Are you sick? Are you in pain? Did you have a bad day? ARE YOU DYING RIGHT NOW?! OH MY GOD, YOU MUST BE DYING DON'T MOVE HE'S COMING!!! Yeah, Honey doesn't live very well with the separation with his baby lmao.

Underfell Sans - ... You mean his still half-frozen quiche? You go to the supermarket, you buy one and you try to make it eatable. He doesn't see what else he can do for you honestly. You sure you got the right number and didn't want to call his S/O instead?

Underfell Papyrus - He's doing it while trying subtly to understand what's going on with you. He doesn't like his child stress-cooking. You don't stress-cook without something stressing you. He wants to help but he knows you got his habit of not saying things because it's too late and he doesn't want to repeat his own mistakes.

Horrortale Sans - Well great, now he's stressed as well because you're stressed. Oak can't focus to give you the recipe, he can hear you're not ok and so he's not ok and keeps asking you if you're alright, more and more distressed. He even uses all of his energy to teleport to you. He just needs to make sure you're fine and alive you know. He can still take the train to go home.

Horrortale Papyrus - He gives you the recipe for one recipe, then get worried you might ask that because you don't know what to cook and feel distressed and then he starts to read his entire cooking book to you so you can have multiple choices. After that, he stresses cooks until he convinces himself you must be starving, and he goes to find you to give you everything he just cooked, he doesn't care if he has three hours of car to reach you.

Swapfell Sans - At the end of your cooking session, you feel even more pressured than you were before calling your dad lol. Nox tries his best to be patient, but you don't have half of the ingredients and your kitchen is a mess, he can't believe you didn't take after him to find what you need easily. A clean space for a clean mind for Toriel's sake! You're lucky he lives far away because he would have come to clean your kitchen and put all your utensils more practically.

Swapfell Papyrus - Uh... Now is the time to confess he actually never cook your favorite nuggets, he only ordered them from McDonald's and put them in the oven to make you believe he did them. You feel so betrayed you have no words. How the hell did you not notice in 17 years? Even Rus is shocked you didn't honestly. He's even a little embarrassed for you. So, uh... Order some nuggets or something?

Fellswap Gold Sans - Well, it's very easy you see. Take your phone, open Google, tap the recipe you want and here you go. Yeah, he's not going to help you. It's almost midnight, he is exhausted and he doesn't want to cook this late in the night. You'll get over what's frustrating you, he raised you like that. You tried lol.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - You'll never get an answer as Coffee didn't save your new phone number and panicked when he saw a number he didn't know calling him lol. Text him, it will be faster and he prefers write it anyway.

It was a fic that was intended to flip a genre on it's head, and it's fascinating to me that it became a genre of its own. Splendidly written and is the cause of 99% of my confusion during my return to the fandom because all of a sudden there were a buncha anti-harems and I was like WTF ARE THESE jkdhfgkjdfk,,

I went into it intending to find out the history behind anti-harems, and then got sucked in completely. You can guess the general premise, but MAN does plot hit hard!!!!!!

Takes a deep breath. Ok so, I debated adding this fic. Not because I don't like it, but because I haven't actual read this in years, so I don't know how it stands up to the test of time.

I don't usually like adding fics that I can't certifiably recommend, but I also feel like if you haven't read this, you haven't Really experienced Undertale reader inserts. It's like. a classic.

I still remember vividly cringing from secondhand embarrassment SO many times while reading BUT I wouldn't trade in that experience for anything- I fucking loved this fic. It was wonderful and terrible and so incredibly fun, and honestly I kinda don't want to reread it so I can keep it in the shiny veneer of nostalgia forever.

Smells Like Chalk and a Cockatoo - Sans/Reader - Finished

Uhhhh, I don't actually have a good segue for this, but this one also has really complicated relationships. There is a happy ending! It's a fucking rollercoaster to get there though.

It's kinda in the same vein as The Party Incident for me, I consider it a classic, and it's also... very 2016/17. Take that how you will. I don't know if I'd recommend this fic, but I definitely think you should read it, if you know what I mean. I'm VERY fond of it despite my extremely conflicted emotions. It's definitely not for everyone though.

Oh, also it has the most fucked up form of skeleton reproduction ever <3 That's okay though, because it results in one of my favourite fankids ever. I'm love my boyyy Impact ;w;!!!!

:] *points vigourously at the warning* The smut is a pretty ingrained part once it gets to it, but I couldn't NOT add this fic.

Anyway I'm a little obsessed with this fic. There's a skeleton reader, who's a necromancer! The skeletons are thought to be gods, but actually they got isekai'd! It's a WILD RIDE and it's surprisingly good??? It feels like one of those webtoons or manga that you look at the cover/summary for and go *??????* at, but then you start reading it and go "OH, THIS IS REALLY FUN ACTUALLY."

There's pretty intense language barriers between the skeletons and the reader for a lot of the fic, but I love that sorta stuff, so that just makes it better for me lol. I adore the dynamics between the characters, they feel so diametrically opposed sometimes it's great.

Oh this one!!! Should probably actually go under misc but it's okay. This fic asks the question of: What if there was a MASSIVE multiversal mashup and some of the residents shared an apartment building where they now live completely normal domestic lives?

It's got /Reader stuff as well as a fun selection of Sanscest and platonic roommate content, and each chapter is semi-self contained and really fun.

In this, the reader is a monster with a really fluffy tail and a tragic past. They just keep getting bothered by these skeleton dudes and eventually end up joining them. Fun read! I like monster readers.

Top 3 favourite Frans au pairings in no specific order and a short (or so) explanation on why? (Frans doesn't have to be canon in the au, it can be aus you just like to make them canon in/ explore their dynamic)

Underfell I blame Vene for this, her Underfell Frans comics made me fall madly in love with the pairing in this AU. I find it wonderful, the amount of angst and fluff you can squeeze out of this situation. It's basically my default because you are rather flexible in what you can portray using this AU, and it's definitely an easy AU of choice for any oneshot ideas I have picking at my brain. What can I say? Underfell Sans lends himself rather well to fun and wacky romantic situations (as well as angsty ones)

Dusttale I'll admit, this was the first one that came to mind when I got the ask. I definitely write about it the least on this list, but it's the AU I spent the most time thinking about. It's just so juicy, seeing these two who are downright obsessed with each other further that obsession in many ways, including romantic. It also helps that I'm a yandere lover, so this kinda romance is right up my alley. I do also have an AU in the aftermath of a Dusttale AU where both are returned to normal, but that's a story meant to focus on the aftermath, picking up the pieces, and the importance of forgiveness. I do really like that AU too, but given how much is connected to it it would take a long time to actually put that into writing. I'm referring to the Fallen Angels AU here, and a few people might remember that I'd written to oneshots for this (one is part of my latest fransweek collection, the first chapter).

Swapfell I'm gonna be honest, I frankly never cared much about this AU until I started writing it for a Secret Santa present. It was because of that fic that I'd even first thought about Frans in Swapfell, and honestly I fell in love quickly after that. Whether in versions of the AU where Frisk is alive or a ghost, their interactions with Sans were always so fun, and whether you wrote Sans as tsundere or Frisk as tsundere, or perhaps just have them both be awkward, there really is something lovely about pairing up the vice leader of the Guard with the princess of the Kingdom. You can probably tell how much I love it by how I proceeded to write more and more for my own Swapfell AU afterwards. Don't even get me started on other SF!Frans pairings, such as those of Lord Yabadoo, or the royal Frans Swapfell AU, and so on that are all really beautiful (the two mentioned here are really inspirational for my own SF work, especially the former) . It's great, and I would probably wax poetic longer about it if my laptop wasn't almost dead, lol.

Hi Sans! You’ve lost your short-term memory. This paper will update you on your condition, as your memory right now only lasts about five minutes, and you are asking the same questions again and again.

Where am I? You are in the ICU at Mt. Ebbott Memorial Hospital. Yes, this is the hospital with the good coffee. I made sure you didn’t go to “that pisshole hospital where the coffee is shit.”

What is today/How long have I been here? Today is August 4th, 20XX. You’ve been in the hospital since Aug. 1st. We were walking back from the grocery store, crossed the street, and someone ran a red right. You got hit trying to make sure I didn’t get hit. I would have been fine! I have high enough HP and had some armor on under my sweater.

What is wrong with me? The doctors think that the impact jarred the mana connections in your skull. You also have a broken arm, three broken ribs, a dislocated hip, and a bruised soul. Healing magic stabilize all the broken bones, but your mana lines and your soul have to heal on their own. The biggest issue right now is your sort term memory loss and confusion. You can talk and you recognize everyone, but you keep asking the same questions again and again. The doctors are hopeful that the memory issue and confusion are temporary and will resolve as your mana connections reform. However, there is a chance this could be permanent.

What am I going to do if my memory stays like this? We will support you. Slim will will still be there for you. I will still be there for you. We can get through this. Red has already asked if we can start a poker night and make sure you are invited five times. The joke is getting old.

Where is my brother? Slim is usually here. Sometimes he leaves to take care of your fish or shower or sleep, but he always comes back! He is doing fine. Stretch and Edge are making sure of it

Are we on the surface? Yes! You seem very confused about this. You and Slim went through a portal and are on the surface. You are not back Underground. No one is trying to deceive you or hurt you. Please stop threatening the doctors.

The Surface Monsters - Not totally a different AU, it's more like what if not all monsters were trapped underground and those who didn't went into hiding and found another way to live. - OCs: The Korinna Family, Xerxes, Shinichi, Peni, Lapis, various assortment of monsters and humans to be made and introduced

Underswap - Chara must show compassion as they traverse this water-filled underground to reach Toriel, even if that goal goes against their wishes

Underfell - Frisk must traverse the rocky underground to reach Asgore. But how can they when the monsters they've encountered have grown mistrustful of humans and each other?

Swapfell - Chara must traverse the deep waters of this underground to reach Toriel, but they can't do this alone. Not even their own perseverance can't help them.

Fellswap - To get home, Chara must cross the icy underground to reach Toriel. With an underground full of wrathful monsters and injustice, will kindness and justice help them along the way?

Horrortale - In a pacifist route gone wrong, Frisk and Asriel couldn't break the barrier, leading to a series of unfortunate events. As more humans fall, most have taken sanctuary in the ruins, as outside of it, monsters have turned into soul/magic sucking vampires. Only one brave enough can venture through the lands to solve the mystery as to why the barrier hasn't broken.

Papyrus is/was Gaster AU - straightforward and based on a theory. have yet to develop the ideas and story but i had designs

Soulblight AU - the land and the people are cursed, some being born with it and others being inflicted it through deals or messing with things that are beyond mortals' comprehension. you make your way to a safe haven to find a cure to your curse, unaware of your fate being intertwined by other tortured souls like yourself.

The Multiverse - the multiverse is vast with webs upon webs of universes and small pockets. though there are some that you'll come across as you dimension hop between places before finding yourself in the main hub world.

Soulmates in Wishbone, or how I think the soulmate trope would shape the culture of a Swapfell Underground.

Disclaimer: worldbuilding is not one of my strengths lol, so take this more as rambly what-if speculation than anything concrete. If I end up contradicting any of this in the fic, shhh no I didn't.

@blurry-palmetto wanted to hear more about soulmates in my swapfell soulmate au fic Wishbone, so instead of replying to their comment like a normal person, here’s a whole long ass post below the cut!

Here’s a recap of what we know about how soulmates work in the fic:

The soulmate bond is solidified by physical touch.

Soulmates share HP, LV, and EXP.

Soulmates can share physical sensation.

Soulmates can access each other’s thoughts, feelings, and Intent.

They can share their own of all of the above with their soulmate.

They can also prevent their soulmate from accessing these things.

Both of the above are learned skills that require effort to execute. Without knowing how to be intentional with the bond, you just kinda end up transmitting everything to your soulmate all day long.

Soulmates are unable to FIGHT each other.

The death of one soulmate results in the death of the other(s).

Extended time away from your soulmate(s) results in soulmate sickness. For Papyrus, this manifested as feelings of itchiness, restlessness, insomnia, palpable anxiety. Increased physical distance between him and the reader worsened these symptoms.

Soulmates are a strictly monster thing: all monsters have a soulmate, and those soulmates can be other monsters, or they can be humans. There are no human/human soulmate bonds. Two humans can be soulmates with the same monster, though.

Any number of people can be soulmates in many different configurations. In Wishbone, the reader is in a wishbone, V-shaped bond with Sans and Papyrus, where they’re the middle bit and the brothers branch off from them.

Before the events of the first chapter of Wishbone, there were no mage/monster soulmate bonds.

Nobody has ever survived an attempt to break a soulmate bond.

For Wishbone, it was important to have two differing cultural views on soulmates because I wanted there to be a huge disparity between how Sans and Papyrus approach the bond compared to the reader. This choice was made for a few reasons, but mostly for maximum angst potential lmao (the driving force behind most Wishbone related decisions). I wanted the soulmate phenomenon to be deeply respected and revered by the monsters, a cultural tenet akin to children wearing stripes and respect for the monarch. A Big Deal, basically. This is juxtaposed with the reader’s disdain and ignorance - they have no idea how any of this works because soulmates weren't a Thing before the barrier broke, and they don’t really care to know, because the bond is nothing but a Big Problem they plan on rectifying. Yay to miscommunication and misunderstanding!

Now, for the monsters to feel that reverence, there has to be some advantage to having a soulmate Underground, right? Particularly in the cut-throat environment of Swapfell (or any Fellverse in general) - if this was just another glaring weakness ready to be exploited, everyone would do their best to avoid meeting their soulmate.

This brings us to:

Soulmates in a Fell Underground; what’s so good about having a soulmate, anyway?

First off, let’s talk about the downsides.

The biggest one is if your soulmate dies, that’s it for you too. You share HP and if you’re both drained, you’re dust. No second chances. This is obviously a massive, easily exploited weakness, and one that I think would’ve shaped the way soulmates cohabitate and interact with each other. I mention in the second chapter of Wishbone that typically the weaker monster(s) will move in with the stronger; this is one of those things that would’ve arisen to protect against this weakness. I think collars would exist for a similar reason in this universe.

Soulmate sickness. An issue if you’re separated from your soulmate, but it would’ve been much rarer Underground. In terms of sheer physical space available, it’d be pretty hard to get physically far enough to cause major issues, and like Papyrus says in Wishbone, soulmates don’t try to avoid each other. The situation in the fic is practically unprecedented.

For the stronger monster, you’re now responsible to ensure the survival of someone(s) weaker than you. Kinda hard to just look out for number one now. You’ve got a whole other person/group of people to keep safe and happy. That's a lot of pressure!

For the weaker monster, you might now find yourself the target of someone seeking to hurt your stronger soulmate(s).

All of that really sucks. There’s gotta be some pretty good benefits to offset all of those downsides.

And there are!

You get to share HP, EXP, LV. We’ve touched on the negatives, but there’s a huge advantage to this too. Not everyone’s bound to a soulmate. In a fight with an unbound person vs a bound one, the bound one theoretically has access to double the power.

Having a soulmate gives you a built-in ally, someone you can trust to have your back. They’ll always have your best interests at heart, because their interests are yours. Underground, this would’ve been an advantage to have over your unbound counterparts who can’t really trust their allies fully.

There’s also all the stuff Papyrus said when he was telling the Second Mage about the origin/purpose of soulmates. Monster souls are composed of love, hope, and compassion, and they inherently seek connection with others. He explains that soulmates have existed for as long as monsters can remember, as a way for souls to find individuals who can fulfill their need for hope, trust, love, and compassion. In an Underground where finding this with others was scarce, this is a big bonus. (As a side note, I think this adds a new layer to Sans’ glove wearing. The gloves actively prevent him from touching others and finding a soulmate. For a tactically minded person who is very aware of the strategic bonus of a soulmate, it says a lot that he's purposely passing up on all of those benefits.)

And that’s just all the purely practical stuff. Finding your soulmate(s) is highly romanticised. A bright spot in the otherwise bleak Underground. The stuff of fairytales - literally, Sans talks about telling those stories to Papyrus in chapter 2. There’s a reason Papyrus is so excited to be a soulmate (note that he’s not fussed about who that soulmate actually is).

Okay, but now the barrier’s broken and everyone’s above ground. Now what?

Great question, hypothetical person!

Firstly: a whole lotta monsters find their soulmates in humans. Remember how monsters can have soulmates in monsters and/or humans? This means that lots of monsters Underground were unable to meet their human, above ground soulmates. Now that they're free, this changes. This is a mostly good thing for the monsters, but I'm sure that a lot of humans in pre-existing relationships now had to grapple with the fact that they're now telepathically bound to their literal soulmate after accidentally brushing hands at the grocery store.

In the wider context of human society, I think there’d be mixed reactions, but what’s more shocking, monsters having soulmates or the mere existence of monsters in the first place? I think by the time everyone gets over the monster thing, the whole monster soulmate thing would be a lot less crazy in comparison.

In the context of mage society - before Wishbone, this just wasn’t an issue, because everyone thought that monsters can’t have mage soulmates. We’re now dealing with the fallout from realising that isn’t the case in the fic.

Where does this leave us?

A fun angsty playground to play around in, full of pits and spikes and traps, in my opinion! There’s so much cultural stuff that the reader insert in Wishbone just doesn’t get. Rules and norms and expectations that they know nothing about and can't really learn on their own, because so much of this knowledge is passed down through oral storytelling.

This is just another issue the characters need to contend with - they aren’t on equal footing for a million reasons, and one of those reasons is that they all know and believe different things about the bond and nobody is communicating about any of it. Well, Papyrus tried, but was shut down immediately. Which makes sense - he tried because he wants to have a proper, close bond with the reader, the kind he's wanted his whole life, and the reader shut it down because they have no interest in any of that. Not to mention round-the-clock glove wearing Sans, who has some pre-existing Issues with the idea of having a soulmate altogether.

But like Papyrus said, the supposed purpose of the bond is to help people get their fix of love, hope, and compassion, things that all three of them need if they ever want to be truly happy. In particular; Papyrus is desperate to be loved, and also doesn’t love himself; Sans has put so much space between himself and compassion as a protective measure over the years that it’s almost completely foreign to him, both feeling it for others (note that the Second Mage invokes reluctant compassion in him almost immediately, despite how much he hates them) and accepting it from those who care about him; and the reader, someone so focussed on building a better future for others, is completely without hope on a personal level because they see no future for themselves in the wake of the loss of their twin.

So, in theory, this whole soulmate thing could be good for all of them. I guess we'll just have to see if that's the case in practice.

I’d like to believe Slim runs a casino in his underground (but he has like a major anxiety disorder and smokes to literally be chill and flirty all the time. On the inside he is an antisocial mess. Love him lots <3)

Time for skeleton to start fathering??lol

Chosen Skeleton and S/O has a moody teenage kid. One day, teenager and skeleton had a big argument (teenage kid was forbidden to go to a party) . Teenage kid lost the argument and said " I wish you weren't my father" and locked themselves in their own bedroom.

Undertale Sans - Well, that hurts. Sans is a pretty chilled dad usually so he immediately feels guilty. Family is all for him, and he's really upset about how it turned. He'll wait an hour to calm down before going in to talk it out with his child. He doesn't want to stay mad with the kid for too long.

Undertale Papyrus - He gasps loudly. The audacity! He doesn't take it too much at heart though, he knows how it is. He said things way worse to Sans during his own teenage edgy years. He simply waits for the kid to get out to confront them about this and talk it out.

Underswap Sans - Well, he was already upset but now he's mad. Does the kid think it's easy to be a parent? Of course, he's not the best dad ever, he knows this, but that doesn't give the right to the child to talk to him like that. He decides to lock himself in his own room and calls his brother. He's not ok, he needs someone to comfort him.

Underswap Papyrus - He's disappointed, but he won't change his mind. Sometimes children have to learn how it works. They have school tomorrow, no party. He still gets anxious when after an hour, the kid is still pouting in his room, refusing to talk to him. He's going in a little after to talk about it.

Underfell Sans - Welp. That's it. He's the worst dad ever. He walks to his bed, flops in it and just stays there, face buried in his pillow. His kid won't ever want to see him again, he fucked up good. Why did he accept to be a father again? He's no father, he's so bad at it. Edge screams to him to stop being dramatic from the kitchen and actually do something to fix it. Maybe a little later, when he'll stop feeling like a complete failure.

Underfell Papyrus - He blocks the door with his foot so the kid can't close it and he forces his way inside their room. Oh no you don't, you're going to listen to him lecturing you whether you want it or not. He's not forbidding you to go for nothing and you will listen to what he has to say. He was a moody teenager as well, he knows quite well how it works and he's not buying it.

Horrortale Sans - Ah... Well, that happened. Oak is not sure what to do about it honestly. He's not too touched by the kid's words, that's clearly just their anger speaking, but still... He doesn't like that. He starts pacing in the living room, angry at himself and the child, until Willow comes home and talks to him. Willow has always a good advice for him, and eventually, Oak calms down and simply waits for the kid to come to him to apologize.

Horrortale Papyrus - He's hurt, but he won't let this deter him from his decision. The kid is not going to the party, and by the way, they're not going anywhere before they apologize to him. It's not ok to say things like that, and they will learn it the hard way. He's agitated for the rest of the day, upset.

Swapfell Sans - Ah, he didn't miss that. Rus made him pay a lot when he was a teenager, and he was not in a hurry to experience this again with his own child. He doesn't take it personally, he knows teenagers can be harsh sometimes. But that's ok, he can be harsher. The kid just won a free week of dishes to think about their behavior.

Swapfell Papyrus - Rus gets immediately upset about it. He hates this situation. He doesn't want to live his own teenagehood again, it almost broke up his relationship with his brother. So he gives up. He tells the kid they can go to their party. He doesn't want the kid to be mad at him, he's too traumatized by the time he almost lost his brother because of his rebellious side. He knows he's wrong and that the kid will definitely take advantage of that but... He doesn't see any other choice.

Fellswap Gold Sans - He doesn't even blink. That's fine. He is used to temper tantrums, he was training the new soldiers in the Royal Guard. He knows they all come back eventually. He's not too worried about it. He knows he's not exactly a fathering figure, but he didn't choose to have the kid (since Wine doesn't want children of his own, but accepts if S/O already have kids), it came as a package with his S/O. So deal with it lol.

Fellswap Gold Papyrus - Fine! If that's how it is, then he can play too. He's not saying a word to his kid before they apologized to him. He knows it's totally puerile but it hurt him more than he thought and he doesn't feel like he deserves it. He's pouting as well and he will until his child comes to him.

Muffet - Snowdin tea and bakery owner. Close relationship with Skeles. Puts cayenne pepper in many versions foods - spicy sweets. Has a few (like 3) setup for spider checkers - a checkers game with an otcoganol board. Waffle-coffee house. Speciality is spider Waffles, Soft Boiled spider Eggs, and Spider coffee

Muffet is a very hairy spider/rancho with scales/hairs all over body like the fluff of a moth. Helps with insulation. Smaller spider monsters are primarily covered in fluff for extra insulation with only tips of legs visible. Spiders wear little uniforms - usually hats/ribbons/tassels

Diner is covered in trap magic - one of many reasons no one causes a lot of trouble - snowdin in general assumed to be covered

Unlike skelebros Muffet can completely hide her trap magic unless someone is looking for it. Or at the very least her anchors are extremely small/needs less.

Smaller spiders may also use trap magic -> mainly just related to their physical silk.

Silk is heavily used in wardrobe and general materials.

Muffet must be seated the majority of the time the diner is open due to outgrowing the building. She doesn’t need to move much to reach every corner of the diner.

Double doors allow Muffet to leave through front if needed but she prefers to use the basement exit that leads to an enlarged basement - big enough for her to move properly, with a separate door out the back of the diner.

Muffet does not often actually leave and the back door is usually locked tight and hidden behind trash and webs. Since she has space to move in her home below she doesn’t see a lot of reason to leave.

Enjoys cooking and making sweet confections with her kin. Finds Sans and Papyrus cute - seen Papyrus grow up. A little older than Sans.

Spider eggs served to help keep populations acceptable. Boiled in a dust bath -> turning the interior monster into a weird edible savory jelly-like creature that is excited to be eaten. They feel no pain and usually find weird entertainment from being eaten in pieces. Not offended if eaten head first.

Diner spiders may actually be at LV 2 -> spiders have their own leveling customs. Basement spiders LV 1 - part of why Muffet and Diner Spiders are partial to Paps and Sans

While being a diner doesn’t actually care how long anyone is there. Closes late opens early -> most of Muffets time is dedicated to business with closing hours uses for rest, self care, and baking for the next day.

Probably has early days and maybe takes a “Websday” off once a month or so. !!she would be big enough and strong enough to easily go to Hotland or the capital if she wanted fancier supplies. !! <- gives part of reason for being so dedicated to the diner. Maybe gets special stuff for her kin/herself. Also cares about residents of Snowdin in her own way.

Like the idea of some of the bigger spiders acting rough and having little spiked bats to emphasize her kind of hard-punk/street gang aesthetic

Alphys - captain of the guard, watches over Waterfall but mostly has attention elsewhere ruling by name alone. Has Stone generally look after it. Originally from Hotland, met Undyne while stationed in Waterfall. Ascends (playing with words dunno if like that) in genocide route. Maybe something Al or Alph <- not a lot of options even with Alf.

Absolute Alphys? Alphys Ascendant

Her gameplay is similiar to Undynes except instead of blocking the player has to shoot her attacks like a game of asteroids.

Undyne - Royal scientist spicy fish yandere-like/light. Drinks beer enjoys super violent manga. Mew Mew -> Bork Bork

Jewel has a rough relationship with Undyne. Initially they were friends but after Undyne met Alphys she started to gain more level. It once got away from her and Jewel had to shortcut away from her as she was undeterred by Sans protection due to her own relationship with Alphys. She moved to Hotland not long after; secretly regretting her actions and not trusting herself in Waterfall any longer.

Napstablook -> Retraton - RTT // Retraton Para -> translates into shared HP forcing use of consumables along with cursor that copy’s players movements // maybe Retrabot to play off being an automaton vs mettaton being robot // Retrabot Para

Retraton held in place/ can’t move legs. Instead commands show through others monsters/puppets/effects. Usually broadcasts tragedies. (stone in turn loves tragedies lmao)

Has Rounded mascot form - form that is held in place. Para is transformation - still held but with extending arms.

Retraton Para - has extra arms.

Songs are very sad and yearning. TV shows are A Lot but also uses a lot of effects because it’s not like there’s infinite monsters.

May not actively star is show frequently but instead use puppets || marionette puppets his cast and narrates -> sometimes puppets are real monsters Retraton has some sort of relationship with surrounding monsters hinting at his Para form.

Para - kills Undyne before protag can activating Para form. Para uses Undynes soul. Might kill surrounding monsters / connected monsters as well.

Retraton - no use of legs - part of why puppets. Maybe needs to remain charged or frequently and feels more comfortable plugged in.

Arms > legs.

Box Form -> literally just a box with arms - no wheel. Has to drag himself or walk with his arms. Maybe has a hover butt? Or a skateboard. Or has lots of little legs. Roomba.

Mettaton(MTT)- Hapstablook

Instead of lie on the floor feeling like garbage they sit on the roof and consider love.

Gaster and Riverperson -

Stay in their respective posts however Gaster speaks in song and the Riverperson speaks in hands

Riverperson - gondola (gondoga) dog theme, speaks in hands, gondola above river because river water is too dangerous

Grillby - fire sale; father of fireflies literally flames with wings. Has a pet Fryfly - long fry-like fly. Instead of forcing player onto strings covers the field with hazards and fire. Have to switch and jump over between flames.

Pacified by firesauce (increases damage, possible burn damage, take one damage for spice) or Frenchfire (a firefly with an exploding baguette - covering the board around you in fire for one turn and burning any incoming attacks) or the purchase of either from his Hotland firesale.

Prices may be inverted to some extent -> Hotland Prices are cheaper but u need both items to pacify him. Ruins are achievable but ridiculously expensive. Only need one to immediately pacify him. Differentiated by name is Hotland Firesauce vs Old/Ruin Firesauce

Has the bad habit of letting his brother be abusive and stopping anyone from saying something. He genuinely feels he deserves it perhaps you can change that?

Much like Edge and Stretch, Black attends Ebott City University, he's currently working on a degree in forensics and wants to be a detective someday.

He constantly butts skulls with Blue and Cherry, he claims that he is the best mix of both of them the truth is he is jealous of their confidence.

Cash (Swapfell Papyrus)

Actually works with Creampuff at the dealership, don't deal with him trust me. He will smooth talk you into paying full price and more.

Handles most of the house's finances, but do not leave your money alone with him it will disappear.

Frostbite (Violentale Sans)

Age 131

Makes homemade ice cream, slushes, and shaved ice.

He has Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD) and DO. NOT. HUG. He will bite you. HARD!

Elk (Violentale Papyrus)

Age 124

Due to his size (9 ft tall) he has difficulty working but he does some work at home.

His work is maintaining a small garden, a cow named Milkshake, and a few hens.
