HUMAN PERRY AU BACKSTORY

I've been having a lot of thoughts lately about Human Perry headcanons as I read a bunch of fic and rewatch phineas and ferb. You know you're hitting the nail on the head when scenes from a fic you might never write dog your every waking step and haunts your dreams so, I thought putting it on paper will help.

A lot of fics like to suggest that Perry's full name is Peregrine, which is understandable, but ever since I've rewatched 2D and found out their first name for him was actually Bartholomew my life was never the same. So Perry's actual name is Bartholomew. But nobody actually calls him that least of all himself.

FAMILY RELATIONS

-I really like winding headcanons that Perry is Ferb's biological mom's BROTHER, which honestly makes so much sense as to why both he and Ferb have green hair. Here are some add-ons that may get depressing;

Ferb's mom was Eve, or Evelyn. Her codename was E, for Echidna...because egg-laying mammals native to Australia. They were both orphans, and attached to the hip. They were each other's partner in crime.

-They were scouted for OWCA one day, bc the agency liked picking up kids with potential as young as possible. So Perry and Eve were trained for the agency since the start (which is why Perry is such a good agent at what seems to be a young age)

MY HEADCANONS FOR OWCA

-Owca is a largely independent authoritarian enterprise with branches all over the world. They aren't the only ones, obviously.

-OWCA also prefers training agents as early as they could. Sometimes that entails scouting talent. Sometimes that means taking in kids of employed agents. Either way, this means OWCA has elementary and high schools that are more akin to militant training camps. It's not cruel. The kids are well cared for and well fed, but OWCA prioritized competency, obedience and discipline.

On every level of OWCA recruitment, training and employment, there is a fedora, and band to mark whichever level you are on the totem pole.

1) Middle school kids are given a bandless fedora.

2) High school kids (soon to be graduates) are given a white band

3) Fresh graduates, training into full employment, are Yellow Bands. Here you start being assigned to full branches, and trained by field work professionals. Think OWCA Files.

4) It's fairly easy to graduate from Yellow Band into a Purple Band. Purple Bands are largely refereed to as Junior Agents, but that's not quite accurate. Purple Bands are the highest reporting authority in any division that ISN'T FIELD WORK. The OWCA Tech, Clerks, RnD and Science Divisions all have Purple Bands to signify they are fully employed, or Superior Officer. Pinky has a Purple Band.

5) It's VERY DIFFICULT to graduate from a Purple Band to a Black Band, not least because there IS NO PREDETERMINED TEST. Black Band agents are Superior Agents, only one level below Division General. There's no telling what could turn you from a Purple to a Black, because the agent has to prove unwavering obedience and faith to the agency in dire circumstances. It's saying "I am willing to do anything for the Greater Good."  Often it entails a death of some sort. OWCA often says Black is the band soaked in blood. Black Band agents have licenses to kill. It's why Black Band Agents are few and precious far in between.

6) After a black band, and you live long enough to retire, you can choose a bunch of things. Most agents choose to become Division Generals or Branch Managers: think Major Monogram. They're basically glorified "Guy in the Chair". Some agents choose to become educators, in which case they are given White Fedoras. White fedoras arent exclusive to black bands though; there are plenty purple band white fedoras. In fact most educators are purple band white fedoras.

-Perry's Black Band Event was Eve's death

-At the time of Eve's death, she had already been married to Lawrence. Ferb was barely a year old, maybe 10 months old?

-Lawrence was told it was a car accident: drunk driver. Truthfully it was a mission gone wrong, involving an underground child trafficking ring, and she stayed behind to give them all the chance to escape. She didn't have the chance to escape when security explosives around the building detonated, and she got caught in the crossfire. Perry had to leave her behind.

-This is why Perry refused to get a partner btw, aka his Lone Wolf tendencies come from.

-In the aftermath, OWCA agents approached the family to give them their condolences, and offer to take Ferb into the fold. For the first time since Eve's death, Perry practically lost it. He didn't hurt anyone, he's much too professional, but he knew Eve didn't want Ferb to get wrapped up in OWCA, and for good fucking reason. Due to their training, neither he nor Eve had much of a childhood, and he refused to subject Ferb to the same kind of life experience.

OWCA was NOT happy. Things were tetchy for a while, at least until Perry was approached by Major Monogram. Francis had a wife, and a son, and he understood where Perry was coming from. He suggested taking a permanent residence in Danville, which was his branch division. It was more stability than Perry ever had working in England, where he and Eve was originally stationed, and it was easy enough to come up with a work-related story to convince Lawrence, who was more than ready enough to leave the house where he and Eve originally lived.

-It was after moving did Lawrence meet and fall in love with Linda.

It's been at least 6 months or more I believe.

what led you to create it?

I actually had it from before but i never really posted anything. The thought that there might be people willing to read my works more than my own family and friends led me to create it. I was done shying away.

what's your favourite thing about the writeblr community?

I absolutely adore the supportive and inclusive nature of the writeblr community! It's a space where writers from diverse backgrounds and genres come together to share their passion for storytelling. I love how everyone encourages and uplifts each other, offering constructive feedback and celebrating each other's successes. The community's enthusiasm is infectious, and it motivates me to keep writing and improving my craft. I also appreciate the wealth of resources and knowledge shared within the community, from writing tips and prompts to editing advice and publishing insights. It's amazing to see how writers willingly share their expertise and experiences to help others grow. Most of all, I cherish the sense of belonging and connection that comes with being part of this community. Writeblr feels like a virtual writing group, where we can discuss our projects, share our struggles, and rejoice in our triumphs together

which wips or writing projects are you noodling about, lately?

Very wrong question lol. I've been going back and forth between my WIPs. But the most recent one I've done, or am thinking about is The Masque of Murder .

how long have you been working on them?

Hahaha.... Since months, years and i still haven't even written a chapter for some of them. I hate myself for that. But since The Masque of Murder is recent, it's been a week or so.

do you remember what inspired them/ what got you started?

Yeah i remember reading a manhwa which had this crazy but mad genius doctor as a minor villan. It got me thinking that it was a waste of his abilities and damn good looks and he would have been surely protected by the plot armour had he been the main character instead. This forced me into making it lol.

how much time, in your best estimation, do you spend thinking about them?

🎵Every hour, every minute, every second. And night after night, I'll thinking 'bout you right, 7 days a week.🎶

Uh... every single one of them? I created everyone, if that's what you're asking haha.. I'm not sure if i understand it correctly but i created everyone on my own. I'll mention the one that comes to my mind first then.

Protagonist- Dr. Phineas Abel Thorncroft from The Masque Of Murder

Antagonist- Dante from Beyond The Pages (but he is also the protagonist)

Yknow, fantasy stuff with magic and murder mystery with actual murder and blood and stuff and all that hahah none of the stuffs that you like or understand or are interested in right? Hahah it totally doesn't have queer peoples. Just fictional stuff you don't wanna know hahaha.

how much control do you feel you have over your characters? do they ever "write themselves," refuse to cooperate, or do things you didn't expect? to what degree? are some less cooperative than others?

I feel like i have 70% control and 30% is something they do it themselves because i give them the freedom to do so. Because that is the story of my character and not of me, even if I am the one who wrote it. Sometimes the decision i make for them is not what they'd do.

do you enjoy people asking questions about your characters? and do you have a preferred means of receiving said questions? for example, as asks, as replies, as reblogs, as tag notes, as comments on ao3, etc.

I take time scoping out the blog to make sure i align with it's content. And i follow based on both, wips and vibes but mostly vibes.

If i don't align with the content or i don't fond the story interesting, i don't follow.

There are so so many characters of my mutuals that i love love loveee but my memory rn isn't functioning at its best so i will just write whom i can remember rn.

I sometimes still think about that AITA post from about 5 months ago about the parents who named their twins Crowley and Aziraphale.

Back then, I was like "Those are just weird names for human being children. I mean they could have gone with Anthony for Crowley but AZIRAPHALE???"

My opinion on this has since changed dramatically. Not entirely unrelated to the people who I have come across with names like Phineas and Theophilus. So now I'm on board because you know what? Aziraphale is no stranger than those names or Alastor, Thaddeus, or Ambrose. So yeah.

Doesn't mean it's going on my list for (first) names, but no I am in full support of naming actual human children after either or both of our precious ineffable husbands.

What would you say to Jack McBrayer that compliments him on his role as a voice actor, reassures him that there’s still interest in the plans for S3, and boosts his determination to reprise his role?

If I were to meet Jack in person, here’s what I’d say…

Hey, Jack, it’s such a pleasure to meet you! When some folks see you, they think of Kenneth, but as soon as I take one look at you, I immediately think of Wander. Craig and Lauren couldn’t have picked a voice more fitting for a character whose powers of positivity are far beyond those of anyone. I even took to calling him a “Jack McBrayerlien.”

I believe the first time I heard your voice was in Kung Fu Panda Holiday as a rabbit chef named Wo-Hop. I heard you yet again in Phineas and Ferb as Irving, in Despicable Me as TWO minor characters (a tourist and a carny), and in Wreck-It Ralph as Fix-It Felix Jr. I tell you what, though, Wander Over Yonder is the one show where you truly got to shine (more on that later). I heard your voice in several other projects (The High Fructose Adventures of Annoying Orange, The Adventures of Puss in Boots, and Mighty Magiswords). As for the secondary characters you played in the other DTVA shows, I feel they don’t have that je ne sais quoi Wander has. No matter what character I see or hear, I ALWAYS think of Wander, a main character from a show named after him (Felix is the second one I think of, though).

You probably don’t realize this, but I’ve been part of the WOY fandom for a long, long time. When I found you’d be the voice of the character, I WANTED to watch the show, especially since it was created by the genius behind two of Cartoon Network’s megahits. Where else can we hear you sing and raise your voice to a high pitch whenever appropriate (e.g. The Egg, in which Wander says “What is wrong with you?”)? Wander is the kind of character who inspires me to look for the best in other people and solve problems in a friendly manner. Upon finding out that WOY would be canceled after S2 even though the plans for S3 were made beforehand, I was downright disappointed. One look at that downed space capsule in the end tag of “The End of the Galaxy” was enough to convince me that Craig and the crew had more to tell. That, and Wander has not fully befriended Lord Hater. Also, I did not get to see what became of the other villains, including Emperor Awesome.

You and the other folks involved should be thankful Peepsqueak launched the SaveWOY campaign. Remember when you signed the S2 poster? They were eternally grateful for it. This person was fully aware of the show’s unfinished business, and it was their mission to make Disney’s higher ups, as well as the Internet, see that. Nowadays, I’m not sure what they’re up to, so a few people who refused to give up and move on, including me, had to step in. Craig led me to believe that S3 was guaranteed to be amazing, so forgive me for being a chatterbox about it. The majority of the world almost always fails to acknowledge the show’s existence and I for one have grown weary of it. You should see some of the fan content I put together in the past 8 years, including a little animation I did of the Star Nomad in flight. They show just how much I care about the show and how determined I am to right the wrong done to it. You might say I’m as big a fan of Wander as Irving is of Phineas and Ferb.

Anyhoo, please don’t doubt you’ll ever get the chance to return to perform “Sunshine Banjo Face,” ‘cause you will, just as long as we all stay determined. I’d love to hear your character sing about the season-long journey bringing folks to their home planets, react to Star Force Enforcement Force’s way of dealing with villains, make friends with a space ape, and bid Lord Hater adieu at the end of the show’s REAL series finale.

Hi! I'm Rickie the Storyteller! I like making up stories for fun.

I figured that it was probably time to have a proper intro post on here.

Here are a few facts about me:

My real name is Erica. "Rickie" is a nickname. (And I'm a girl.)

My MBTI is INFJ.

My birthday is 15/09 (so I'm a Virgo).

I'm British. And black. And kind of a nerd.

I love to read (I can't choose one favourite book lol. My favourite childhood books were the How to Train Your Dragon series, and I also loved everything by Roald Dahl).

I love movies (particularly Pixar movies. I think my favourite Pixar film is The Incredibles).

Right now, my two favourite shows are Gilmore Girls and BoJack Horseman. And The Boondocks… and I also love Phineas and Ferb (I always have. It’s my comfort show <3 )

I'm a STEM student (mainly computer science, physics and maths). I particularly like science a lot. When I was young, all I wanted was to be a doctor. I got over that once I found out how long you need to stay in school lol.

I hate swearing in real life, but I sometimes include swear words in my stories (only when I feel like the character would lol. It's about getting their personalities right, that's all).

I am a major perfectionist. And a tryhard. Because of that, I get burnt out a lot lol.

I have the most random music taste lol. I like just about everything so long as it sounds nice (my playlists range from old-school hip hop to gospel/rnb to jazz to classical to indie... right now as I'm typing this out, I'm listening to Lizzy McAlpine lol)

I've always loved writing and storytelling since I was a kid. I used to write in my notebooks whenever I could, and make up bedtime stories to entertain my younger sister when we were little kids. I enjoyed creating different worlds, scenarios, characters and personalities with my imagination. Making up stories is my passion and my escape.

I got the idea to start this blog because I type up a lot of stories and store them on my computer. Some of them are long, some of them are short. Most of them aren't finished… But I wanted to give them a space of their own. I wanted to have a platform where I can share my stories with other people who love writing and reading as much as I do. I wanted to connect with other writers and readers who can give me feedback, advice, and support. And I wanted to challenge myself to improve my writing skills and grow as a writer and storyteller.

On here, you'll find various types of stories (and poems, I guess) that I write for fun or for practice. Some of them are short stories that can be read in one sitting. Some of them are longer stories that are divided into chapters or parts. Some of them are based on prompts or requests that I get from you guys. And some of them are just random ideas that pop into my head. I'm here to share with you some of my original stories, characters, and ideas that I hope will inspire you, entertain you, and make you think.

I'm happy to be here, but it was a tough choice to start this blog for a few reasons - the main one being that it takes a lot of courage to share your stories/creations with others. You never know how they will react or what they will think of your work. And like I said before, I'm a perfectionist. I want the things I post to be good. I really hope you enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoy writing them.

I want to push myself and step out of my comfort zone. I want to experiment with different writing styles and genres: YA, fantasy, sci-fi, romance, comedy, mystery, drama, etc. Something for everyone. And if there isn't yet something that suits your taste or mood, eventually I'll try and get it there (I haven't been on here very long lol). I've never written fanfictions before, but I wouldn't mind writing for any specific tv shows/movies/video games in future. I'm open to anything! As long as we aren't talking about anything inappropriate…

I'd also love to interact with you guys more: answer your questions about writing or storytelling or anything else; give feedback on your own stories if you want; share tips and tricks on how to improve your writing skills; or just chat about anything that interests us. I don't just want to write stories that come from my own imagination (although I definitely will do that too). I also want to take your suggestions and prompts. So, if you have an idea for a story that you want to read or hear me tell, just let me know and I'll try to make it happen.

Let's talk about Cai (whose name we pronounced "Kay"), a character from Winter Fae's Blight (aka Winter's Blight), @spookyscribe and my fantasy book series.

I do want it recorded for posterity that planning his parts in the story took way longer than necessary because anytime I came close to saying "oh Cai" for any reason (usually "oh Cai you poor blighter"), I would compulsively make a Phineas and Ferb reference.

Which would make me laugh and which would then derail things for at least a good dozen seconds or so.

(I am a joy to work with.)

Clearly this is all Cai's fault, okay?

Also he's a cool dude. Who deserves better in the grand scheme of Arthurian lore. My theory is they've picked on him because he's Welsh and so the primary goal was to make him Super Cool (but still a grump). I think we did a good job.

^ I don't know if any of this answers the initial prompt. Just in case, I'll share my headcanon that he probably distrusts radios.

Unexpected Guest - Part 1

Is about time Flynn face the consequences of his past actions, would it go smoothly or would go downhill?

In this event you can tag along with Flynn and the others in their match with the new hunter and maybe even help him! But put in mind their is a fixed ending to it so your actions wouldn’t really effect how the story end.

Flynn was heading to the waiting room for an upcoming match that he was assigned to for the day. He had an uneasy feeling about it and wanted to back out, but he thought he might be overthinking it. Perhaps he was just worried about the new hunter?

He pulls out the notebook he uses to write down the matches he has for the day and flips through the pages until he finds the one he is about to take part in. He starts to reread the information about the match:

Time Of The Match - 1:30 PM

The Map - Darkwood

Teammates - The Candy Dealer - The Servant - The Tailor

Hunter - “Past”

“Are the hunters slowly running out of ideas for their alias names?”

Flynn mumbled to himself, wondering since when they had a new hunter? He usually expects his brother to inform him about any new hunters joining the games, so it's surprising he didn't hear about this one… Maybe his Phineas didn't know either? ugh, he probably just overthinking it and is not even that important, he should focus on getting ready for the match instead, as he's already made it to the waiting room.

When he entered the waiting room, he saw that the other teammates had arrived before him. He put on a smile, greeted them all, and sat in his seat, chatting with his friend Sam while waiting for the match to begin.

It didn't take long before Samantha noticed Flynn's odd behavior, though.

“Flynn, how about you cut the act?”

“Huh??”

“I can easily tell your are forcing a smile more than usual, it painfully weird to look at -3-”

“Wow okay miss detective, sorry for trying to stay positive, dame”

“Just what is bothering you now? Better not let it get in the way of us winning the match.”

“Is nothing serious, so don't worry… I just have this uneasy feeling towards the new hunter we're going to face, that's all.”

That is when Rue suddenly joined the conversation and said “you mean Past?"

The two teenagers looked at her while Flynn answered “y-yeah… wait, Rue! Exe is a hunter right? Has he told you anything about Past? My brother didn’t and I do not think he even knew about them”

Rue shakes her head “No. I do not believe that the new hunters take their time to talk to anyone because of how little they know about them…”

“I see…”

This is when Angel joined the conversation “If you're worried about the new hunter, why not try to avoid them as much as possible during the match? You can stick right beside me if it makes you feel safer ^^”

Flynn waves his hand as if to deny Angel’s offer “n-no! It’s alright really! It's not like I am afraid, I was just concerned that’s all.”

Flynn didn't want to alarm or inconvenience the others, so he decided to set aside the topic until the match actually started.

As the match was about to start, the hunter suddenly decided to visit the survivor on their side of the waiting room. The hunter appeared behind them, placed his arms on the chairs, and looked at them with a huge smirk, especially towards Flynn.

Flynn's face showed such a shocked expression… there is no way… he knows this hunter… this guy is… The Private Detective he murder years ago!

Before Flynn or the Hunter can say anything to each other, the match starts and everyone is immediately teleported to the map.

When Flynn spawned on the map, he stood there for a while, not moving, with a serious expression on his face. He sighed and took out one of his daggers, then started to walk forward… This can only end badly.

so i have absolutely decided to make a director’s cut version of my current wip that will be published when it’s finished because of that one post about making directors cuts.

so i’m just gonna post a couple of examples of the range of commentary you can expect from me when i’m not limited to ao3 end notes.

everything below the cut is from chapter 25 of and your heart love has such darkness so don’t read it if you’re not up to date on chapter 25 and care about spoilers.

This was bad. This was very bad.

Grandfather cut him off before he could get any further, “Cornelius, what in the name of Merlin, Morgana and Hecate made you think that an appropriate course of action was to not inform me that a member of my House, my previous Heir no less, escaped Azkaban, before running your mouth to the Prophet.”

this i think really highlights a clear difference in how wizarding society is organised as compared to ‘general western government’ or even than extent compared to other governments in the wizarding world though as of writing this i really haven’t fleshed that out.

It's literally so wholesome and cute and family friendly, god I love this fic I have to go read it again I wish there was more.

I just for some reason could spend hours reading about their little house mission and the seeds and working on getting generators to the farm, god, the tension of the time ticking down gets me.

This fic, ohohoho. By now you all know I love a social media au, a text fic, anything of the sort. But this fic is creme of the crop of any social media au. It's just so magnificent. It's my fav thing ever, which is found family, and involves my two favorite things to see in a Top Gun fic; icemav adopting the dagger squad post mission, and also the Daggers being shocked and then pissed at Rooster when they discover Mav is married to Ice. Also Ice using sign is always a fucking bonus to me.

I've raved about this fic enough for you all, but once again! This is the og and if I had my way it would go on forever and ever and never end. Especially now that it's ended up on the front lines fighting for aocorro, which you all also know I've recently decided I enjoy.

This fanfiction was last updated in 2015, but I only watched 2010 Spartacus in 2021 and that's what hurts most of all, huh? What a fantastic show. There would probably be a ton more nagron fics on here but I stopped reading unfinished fics from 2012 😔. Like genuinely though I've bled that fandom dry, I've read every single Barca/Pietros fic that exists.

This fic is still being updated, I believe it's just slow because each chapter is an epic. It's just really cool and you all should read it. It's a regency era Harry Potter fic which like, all the ships getting their own plot. Also love love Harry just, growing up rich and cool with his parents lol. I think the dialogue is super fun and I'm very invested in every characters plot so far.

It's so close though!!! I've read every boreo fanfiction that exists too, and for a bummer of a book, it's a bummer of a fandom as well lol. This fic (although it also manages to be a bummer), puts Theo in such a funny predicament that it combats enough of the bummer-ness that I just loved it. And just like almost every other boreo fic, it's stupidly well written.

Alternatively, what if Tommy hadn't survived Shattered Grid?? (Yes, delve deeper into Drakkon's self-made universe)

0_0 ....Oh, fuck, this is even harder. But I'm just gonna separate this into two parts.

First Part: The Morphin Grid:

Presumably, there would be a HUGE collection of dead people in the Grid, super pissed off, terrified for their families, and friends, and teammates they left behind. A lot of them getting into screaming matches with the Emissaries that are licking their wounds and basically dancing as fast as they can while calling in the OTHER Emissaries that are NOT Primary Colors and have different points of view that Red, Blue, and Yellow seemed to be lacking.

The Coinless are obviously there--but I am not making Jason an old man. In this scenario, he died at the last stand while getting the White Light. He's so sad, but also happy to see Trini and Zack and actually gets to hug them again.

I am not taking any rebukes for this, but Bulk and Skull are also there. Just because Zordon didn't believe in them doesn't mean the Grid and their Colors didn't, and they more than made up for their time in their suits out on the battlefield, doing what they could.

Billy is the first person to greet them, given that they've basically shied away in the back of the crowds and noise. Bulk not expecting to have been there--he was never religious, so he didn't think much about an afterlife unless it was maybe reincarnation; and Skull had assumed if there was anything on the other side of life waiting for him, it would have been dark and painful and empty.

The Mighty Morphin Rangers do all question where Kimberly is, and this leads to something of a silver lining of the possibility of returning reality to something like it was--

Especially given that every single version of Tommy Oliver that Drakkon killed is present and accounted for and desperate for ways to help their friends; especially the Prime Tommy with the shard of the chaos crystal still implanted in his chest.

Thankfully, the other Emissaries of Green, Black, and Pink are a lot more amenable to being open to suggestions and are willing to hear out any plans any Rangers are willing to propose in an effort to save reality from being just a game, a show, a fabrication of Drakkon's greatest desires.

The Colors that don't have Emissaries are willing to do the legwork to open doors and closets and windows into reality if the need arises--Orange and Purple especially as there are an awful lot of dead carriers that never got the chance to do their duty and they're just as pissed off as the Rangers missing friends they will never know could have been with them on the battlefields. Fran, Clare Langtree, Leelee Pimvare, Phineas, Marah, Kapri, Devin Del Valle, Cassidy Cornell, Victor, Monty, Betty and Ben Burke; to name but a few.

Second Part: Drakkon's "Perfect World":

There are the Rangers from the Prime Universe and Lauren, and Jen, assigned to their roles that Drakkon actually put thought into giving them, of course, but we should probably delve a little further into the people that Drakkon might have found interesting to see around Angel Grove and observe like a photographer on National Geographic. Not engaging with them at all, but the memories of his youth nudging him with 'maybe like this...'

Ernie is Kim's boss at the diner Drakkon frequents when he goes to chat with her near closing. The proprietor is his usual cheerful, helpful self with all of his customers, but he can't help sticking around until after the superhero leaves, feeling too nervous to leave her alone with Drakkon.

While Jen was shown to operate the Tigerzord before Drakkon showed up to take on the energy beasts, I think it would be a little amusing for Matt Cook to handle the Dragonzord as an incidental self-fulfilling prophecy. Because Drakkon can't man it while playing Superman, he'd leave it to someone that the other Rangers in their former lives got along with. He's not really allowed to do much, merely use the Zord to ward off the beasts, but it would give Zack and Trini someone to talk to when Drakkon wasn't in the mood or had the time to give a comment.

Bulk is the public librarian along with the Stone Canyon Trio and Kat Hillard. Drakkon almost never has to go there unless it's for public speaking or encouraging education in the younger generation, but he does like to look in on a place where Billy and Trini spend a lot of their free time. Mostly because while in the Prime universe Billy and Bulk didn't get along because of something in their past, it almost seemed like Billy flirted with Bulk whenever he caught the bigger man alone and stocking shelves or needed recommendations for a paper or gadget he was working on. And Trini just seemed to adore Aisha, constantly talking about animal shelters and hospital work and Aisha's want to go into night school for a nursing degree.

With Skullovitch's betrayal fresh in his mind, Drakkon would not allow the Prime version of Skull into his perfect world, not even to see what the young man who was a bit of a clown, but also kind, would have become under his rule.

But as it was already established, Drakkon can't control everything. He didn't create the colossi White Energy beasts threatening Angel Grove, he certainly wouldn't have created a tiny Orange Energy beast that seemed to change from a bird without distinguishing marks to a stray animal that seemed intent on wreaking havoc on his giant manor at all hours. Broken windows, stolen books, pantry contents all over the kitchen, holes in the walls and floor, the chandelier falling in the middle of a gala he was throwing--all without him being able to catch it.

And then MORE tiny energy beasts start showing up. These ones in all manner of Colors and shapes, interacting with the Prime Rangers that don't know what to make of them, but feel more often than not like they're trying to show or lead them to something.

All of this would be a lot slower and more specific than it was if Tommy rose from the dead via Chaos Crystal, but I think the conclusion would be something....more than a deux ex machina, for lack of a better word. Zordon's telling Zack that all members of a team can be leaders would actually be put into action and mean a lot more.

Top 10 List of Things I Want to See in Phineas & Ferb's "Revival"

It has been about a week since it was shockingly and wonderfully announced that Phineas & Ferb is returning for 2 more seasons, and it was met with almost universal applause and excitement, howbeit with some concern about certain directions that may be taken in risk of "hurting" the show, particularly considering the original series did end on their note(their being Dan and Swampy). 

However, I for one am SO excited to see it come back, never having lived it live and in person, to be able to be alive and see the show as new episodes are coming out is an experience I am so very excited for!!!

Note, while it is called a "Top 10" list, it's not really in order of importance, but it looks better with the words TOP 10 in the name xD. Plus there is some sort of order, just not an exact science. 

Anyways, without further Ado, let's get to the list!👏👏

Top 10 List of Things I Want to See in Phineas & Ferb's "Revival"

--- #1: Don't Lose Sight of What Got You Here

I start not with something that I would so much want to see, but more of a weary concern and warning for the possible changes that may happen to the show. The biggest strength Phineas & Ferb has is that while it is a "children's animated series", it's writing and incredible comedic events and musical performances are made for basically every age group, no matter how young or old you are, and brings people from all over the world together to enjoy the awesome, wild, and hilarious antics that come with the show. 

These are things that I hope will remain a part of the series moving forward, and shouldn't change as we reach it's "revival".

While I expect some things to need to be updated for a more modern world, I hope and have faith that the show will not veer too far from the direction of the first 4 seasons, and keep what has brought so many people to "fall in love" with it for so long.

--- #2: Into the Future! (Slightly)

One of the bigger questions that I've seen is, where on the timeline is S5 and S6 going to be, and it seems that the common opinion is that it should be sometime after the original summer the original show is at. In my opinion, I think Season 5 should begin the summer following the original summer, ALTHOUGH I absolutely love the idea of Phineas & Ferb and the crew being in Middle School. However, I think at this current time it's just too much of a change, and having the "revival" start the summer after would give a fresh start for new ideas, while still keeping the kids close to the age they were. 

--- #3: A Different Focus, a Slightly More Serious Experience?

In the original version of P&F, it is well known that the show, while it is called Phineas & Ferb, mainly revolved around Candace and her daily quest to "bust" Phineas & Ferb, while also having to deal with her daily life as a teenage girl. While I still believe that should be a part of the show, with everyone growing up a bit (if #2 on our list happens), I would love to see the focus shift from being a bit less about her, and more to being about the crew, Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, Baljeet, and Buford. We see it some particularly in Season 4, but IMO there is still so much untapped potential, particularly with the latter four, that it would be really cool to see the show more through their eyes on a daily basis. 

Also, with them being a year older, and having the experience from the previous summer (while I am not expecting it), I would be very interested in seeing the show continue the path they took in some of their best episodes, particularly in Summer Belongs to You, and several times in S4, of it being a little more on the serious side, and it not always being lighthearted and humorous. Not all the time of course, but in some episodes, to see them go through some hardships, have some strengths, and more importantly, weaknesses, particularly with Phineas (which NOTLP did AMAZINGLY well with!)

In addition, as an aside, I think it would be really cool to see Candace mature a little bit, as she gets closer to adulthood, especially after what happened in "Last Day of Summer". Not always wanting to bust them, and in fact on occasion being supportive of what they are doing. That doesn't mean she stops being worried about them, but to be there for them in case anything goes awry. 

(And yes, we could also use a little less Doof and Perry as well, they are important but with Doofenshmirtz being such an overreaching part of MML, I think he could stand to take a small step back here)

--- #4: Trying to Keep Continuity and the Timeline Consistent 

As best as they can anyways! xD

One thing that the "Dwampyverse" (consisting of Phineas & Ferb, Milo Murphy's Law, and Hamster & Gretel) struggles with is keeping the timeline consistent, with changes between shows that in part break and mess up some once thought canon parts of the other shows. Now this isn't always bad, considering MML pretty much makes the P&F episode "Act Your Age" de-canonized due to Doofenshmirtz's becoming Professor Time, something that many in the community appreciated greatly. 

But it would be nice if the upcoming revival would keep most of the continuity from the first 4 seasons, both in the timeline and in callbacks to previous seasons. Hoping to see some flashbacks and backstories that are built on things that happened in the first 4 seasons!

--- #5: Backstories and More Character Building

This one is something that I really thought the show didn't take enough advantage of in the original iteration of the show, to have so many wonderful characters and barely(if at all) touch on their backstories. Random questions that pop into my mind, like how was Phineas & Ferb's first weeks together as stepbrothers, how and when did Phineas & Isabella first meet (PLEASE), how and why did Buford choose Baljeet specifically to "bully", how and when did the "crew" form up officially, how did Fireside Girls Troop #46231 come together, and many other things that have never been answered.

On top of that, there are so many possibilities for character building. The only Fireside Girl outside of Isabella that we know basically anything about is Ginger, and that's only because her character plays a minor role with Baljeet, as well as her older sister Stacy. Flesh out their characters, make them unique and special as individuals, not just as a group. There's such an uptapped well just with them, and that doesn't even include the main crew, particularly Isabella, Baljeet, and Buford, who each have incredibly diverse backgrounds and ancestry that could be awesome to see at least a little bit more about. And while I am not at all interested in knowing about Ferb's Mom or Phineas and Candace's Dad, I do think there is more that we can learn about Phineas and Ferb as well to further strengthen their characters.

--- #6: PHINABELLA, the Phineas Perspective

Now I made a point to mention that this list was not particularly in order, because if it was my heart would have put this #1-#10, and it would have just been a "Phinabella Moments I Want to See" list… Which, I mean, who knows, next list maybe hehehe🤭🧡💗

But yes, it is time to finally discuss the Phinabella aspect of Phineas & Ferb that is prominent throughout the show but particularly in S4 where so much emphasis was placed on it, leading to the crescendo that was "Act Your Age" (that looking back could have been done significantly better). While I don't expect the Phinabella aspect to continue quite as strongly as it did in S4, I am quite sure there will still be plenty of great and funny moments between them.

Saying that, I think it's time we shift perspectives on this pairing, instead of always being about Isabella and her struggles to get Phineas to realize her feelings for him, and instead putting more emphasis on Phineas' perspective of their friendship. It's clear throughout the show that Phineas cares about Isabella, from building a haunted house to scare her hiccups away, to saving her from falling off a building in "The Beak" episode, trying to make a giant sundae machine when she got her tonsils removed, helping her and the Fireside Girls countless times with their many patches, and I could go on and on.

I think it would be awesome to see how his mind works in these situations where he is helping Isabella, and while I am not wanting him to realize his feelings for her until the end of Middle School/beginning of High School (which is one thing about AYA I absolutely love and keep as canon), I think it would be great to see his side of their friendship more. Oblivious Phineas is a necessity, but it's clear throughout the show and particularly in S4 that even if Phineas is too young to truly understand his feelings, that he does consider Isabella to be a very dear friend and someone very important in his life, and it is something that I would love to see more of. 

--- #7: MORE FERB

The show is called Phineas & Ferb, and in my opinion it's time to give Ferb his due. Yes he doesn't talk much, yes he is a man of action, but it's time we get to know more about him and experience the show more from his perspective. Ferb-Centric episodes, whether it be celebrating his Birthday, or focusing on something he really wants to do or something he enjoys, would be awesome. Or better yet, in "Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension", Ferb raises his hand that seems to point to him having a secret double life, what did he mean by that? In short, we need at least one #FerbAppreciationDay, if not multiple, and we need to know and experience more of our green headed British young gentleman!

--- #8: More Songs Please (SPECIFICALLY DUETS!)

This is kind of obvious, but if it's not the best thing about Phineas & Ferb, it's certainly in the top 3, and I think everyone would agree that we would love to see the musical performances continue. In addition to songs in general though, I in particular would LOVE to see more duets between particular characters, and primarily with Phineas and Isabella (of course lol), Candace and Isabella, and Candace and Vanessa, among others. There wasn't enough duets in P&F in our opinion, specifically amongst the female characters, and it is something we need more of in the revival!

--- #9: Cameos and Special Episodes (but let's not overdo it)

As we saw throughout Phineas & Ferb, but particularly in S4, there was a variety of special episodes that happened, most notably the Marvel/P&F crossover, and the Star Wars AU(the latter being far more praised then the former). We also got the 2nd Dimension special episode that came after the AT2D movie, and the "time-warp" episodes that included the "Temple of Juatchadoon" episode. 

With there only being 40 episodes, it's clear we aren't likely to get sequels to all of these, however in my opinion, if there were 3 I would love to see specifically, it would be:

#1: 2nd Dimension AU

#2: Star Wars AU

#3: Juatchadoon AU

In addition, I do expect there to be cameos with characters from both Milo Murphy's Law and Hamster & Gretel to happen somewhere… HOWEVER, my hope is that it is limited, and that the mistakes from MML in particular are not made, crossing over shows too much and it becoming a hodgepodge of all the shows into one mess. Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing a DCOM one day of all 3 series' together doing some sort of mission together, but in terms of the show itself in it's revival state, let's keep them at most sprinkled in. 

--- #10: Hmm, What's Left on the List…

Finishing off, let's hit on a few more random things I didn't get to, as well as ideas that were given to me by Guy and Cayla, where I won't write a real descriptive piece but are things that we'd like to see…

+FINISH THE MEAP TRILOGY, "MEAP ME IN ST. LOUIS"!

+A continuation of Stacy and Perry's storyline, where Stacy has to help Perry protect his identity of being a secret agent, IDC how important it is or isn't, it needs to at least be brought up again

+An episode entirely about the Fireside Girls doing something together that doesn't involve Phineas & Ferb

+(Either a retcon or just ignoring of "Act Your Age", officially de-canonizing it (which could be further helped by, oh IDK, Gretchen secretly having a crush on/feelings for Ferb and having them be close friends hehehe)

+Phineas & Ferb having an episode where they aren't together, whether through a disagreement or something that happens that splits them apart for the day, and seeing how that affects them

+ Seeing a “Slice of Life” episode with characters we don’t normally see getting big amounts of screentime (Jeremy, Vanessa, Stacey, Irving, Django, etc)

+Doof being a teacher and/or pursuing his efforts to become Professor Time, that way the MML timeline remains canon/consistent

 +If we do get an episode where the characters are grown up/in the future, it would be absolutely lovely to see Phineas and Isabella together, either on a date or just spending time with one another🧡💗

+Bonus episode idea: An episode where Phineas (even if its because of a random -inator shot) falls for Isabella and they have a day together, and to see her reactions to it(this would be in a similar vein to what happened in a Kim Possible episode, but not quite as emotionally intense of course)

+Buford (Guy really wants to see more Buford lol)

If you have reached this point, it means that you either read the whole thing, or skipped to the end, which honestly, I wouldn't blame you lol. So I follow the creator of Phineas and Ferb (Dan Povemier) (sorry if I spelled that wrong) on tiktok and I found out he was also a writer on Family Guy.

This surprised me because I like Phineas and Ferb but I don't like Family Guy.

But now I am re watching Phineas and Ferb and I am realizing a lot of the style of humor is similar to Family Guy but there are way fewer sexist and racist jokes and way fewer references to random celebrities.

The episode I just watched actually did have a reference to a random celebrity I didn't know and it was by far the least funny joke in the episode.

In my opinion referencing random celebrities is a bad genre of joke because a large percentage of your audience won't know who that is, and even if they do, usually the way this "joke" is implemented is just to say the celebrity's name without actually making a joke about it.

All that is to say I think I actually would like Family Guy if it wasn't so mean spirited and never talked about celebrities.

Also my phone keeps on auto correcting Ferb to Fern.

Outlaw Love: A Cowboys Seduction of High Society

Chapter 1: Debutant

Eloise POV

I can hardly breathe in this thing.

I can’t breathe in this damn thing.

 “Eloise”

The shout over the quartet tossed me out of my thoughts. Turning just in time to see my sister Katherine coming toward me with open arms. Her husband was nowhere to be seen which didn't surprise me. I don’t have much time to react as her arms wrap around me and she pulls me into a hug,

“Katherine,” I groan but the hug only gets tighter as she refuses to let go until the hug is returned with the same enthusiasm.

“I didn’t think you’d do something like this. I can’t believe you’re getting married!”

I give a smile, truthfully I am just as surprised as she is. I never intended for this, I wanted a life of adventure running amuck with the other cowboy outlaws that remained in our not-so-little town. We’ve both been to these sorts of arrangements, one being Katherine’s and the others being family friends.

“You’ve met Jensen haven’t you?” Katherine asked with a smile gesturing with her head toward the direction of the man she walked in with earlier. He was in the corner plucking hors d’oeuvres off a silver platter from the service hired for the evening. Rolling my eyes now stared at the floor before putting on a fake smile and a soft “uhuh…” escaped my lips. A small curl that fell too far forward in front of my face now tickled my skin. I tucked it back behind my ear. “Jensen…” Katherine said waving her hand about in the air trying to get the attention of her husband who looked like he was about to shovel everything off the silver plate and into his mouth. He glanced over like a dog who had been shouted at for doing something wrong. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he made his way over to them.

“And where is the man of the hour?” Jensen asked a small smirk on his face as he looked around the ballroom of the house.

“Oh yes, where is Phineas?” Katherine naked looking among the crowd of the new man in my life. Even hearing his name made my skin crawl. I sighed but kept it subtle before glancing around the room for my obnoxious possibly drunk off his ass fiance. “Oh, there he is!” Katherine said pointing through the crowd to the man striding toward them, his brunette hair slicked back and styled **perfectly** as he would say in his words.

“I wondered when your sister would show up,” Phineas said as he slurred in the shell of my ear; his arm around my waist. “I told you it would take her a moment to arrive…” I said in response rolling my shoulders a bit trying to free myself from his grip. This seemed to be noticed by Phineas which only caused him to grip tighter at my waist. The whole situation was fitting given the anxiety that now lay in the pit of my belly.

Despite my thoughts of morbid death infiltrating my brain, I couldn’t help but admire the layout of the chandeliers in the ballroom. The way their lights were filtering around the room, the fact they were possibly visible from the streets. I wondered if those out on the streets of Saint-Denis had often wondered what it would be like to be in the plantation home. I had a moment, staring at the chandelier, and wished that it would rock itself off the ceiling and hit me; taking me out of my misery. There was an obvious conversation happening within my surroundings, the only thing I could hear was Phineas’ words.

“Right, Sweetpea?” Phineas asks giving my shoulder a nudge bringing me back into the moment. “I–y-yeah…” I started not knowing what was being discussed at the moment. The reaction gained soft laughter from my sister and Jensen. Standing there for a moment, feeling the heat rise on my cheeks I turned on my heels and walked away.

That feeling hit, and that feeling grew larger in the pit of my belly. Here I am spiraling once again.

I shouldn’t be here.

Why am I here? I’m not good enough to be here. Who brought me here?

This isn’t the life for me, I’m not made for this like my sisters are. They love this high-society life, but I can’t see myself continuing to live like this. All the social gatherings, the dinner parties, cocktail hours, brandy and cigars for the men. None of it was for me, that’s something I’d never let leave my mind. Sticking close to the walls, I sink closer to one of the random buffet tables set up in the corner. No one has noticed me there as I scan the table items. I’m not very good at conversations anyway. What do the wealthy talk about anyway?

Where are we finding gold?

Any steamboat parties?

Have you been hunting and caught anything worthy of hanging on the walls?

Lost in thought, my foot catches on something heavy. I come crashing face-first into someone’s chest.

Damnit.

“I’m so sorry…” I gasp as I step backward.

Of course, while trying to avoid making a fool of myself in front of my family, I managed to fall right into trouble. With a glance toward my feet, I confirm that I tripped over a man’s boot, a muddy and dirty boot. The mud had transferred to my shoes causing me to sigh a little out of relief if anything.

He doesn’t say anything. Makes no sudden movements either.

I draw my attention to his suit, it looked out of character for someone like him. He looked like he didn’t belong here. Out of place, in comparison to everyone else that was in the room.

The man eyes me, a soft grunt escaping from him as he brings a glass to his lips. The liquid sloshes in the glass returning to its original state at the bottom of the glass. His hands are rough and calloused, a small bit of scarring scattered about his fists. To me, this reveals that he is not a regular in attendance at this get-together. Unless he was invited by someone else in attendance but of course that is unlikely considering the attire.

Fear runs down my spine, I wonder if I should warn anyone. No, I force myself to look higher, at his face, looming a whole foot taller than myself. Despite the heels on my feet. My breath catches in my chest, as all hope I originally had for reconciliation with this man fades.

His dark hair hangs in his face, it seems like it was originally slicked back but he was against the idea. Now let it settle before his eyes. He’s here impersonating a gentleman in the high society lifestyle that’s obvious to me now. He has a slight threat of violence behind his eyes, and scars below his left eye as if he were attacked by something. His jaw was lined with a dark-colored beard, it was somewhat grown, more overgrown if I were being honest.

He lets the glass in his hand lower once more from his lips, giving a glance that gave a sense of not being worth his time. His gaze lingers down my body and back to my face. He has yet to speak, a hint of anxiety, or was it adrenaline hitting my veins?

An outlaw? An outlaw in attendance at my get-together. If there was one, that means there were others as well. I should get away before it is too late but something about this man before me, it’s interesting.

I take a small step backward.

Another.

One more.

There is a slight silence that is soon interrupted by the sound of the quartet starting to play a fast rhythmic song. The sound caused her to jump once more and then it happened. He spoke to her.

“You shold be more careful,” he said, his voice low a hint of attitude just beneath the surface. “There are others here who wouldn’t be so forgiving as I.” Hearing his words, sent another shiver of adrenal anxiety through my body. What did he mean by that? Was it meant to be a threat?

“Y-yeah…” my voice is shaky. “I was just leaving…over there…” I give a vague hand gesture and disappear off into the crowd. He invaded my mind in that moment and would stay there for the rest of the evening.
