// all this research is making me dizzy and is disturbing my concentration on writing The Glass Kingdom // ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Ever feel like this — when you are writing a chapter and you don't know what happens next, or how to describe this character, or what this room looks like, or how to portray your MC as an expert who knows everything about certain things, etc, etc? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am feeling this!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ At the end of the day, the sprinkles and icing decorations are not supposed to be on the cake because it is SUPPOSED to be a half-baked cake. A baker wants to bake a cake but doesn't know what other ingredients to add besides the basics. I have flour (characters, some have names and some don't), sugar (a plot that is all over the place), butter (chapters), eggs (chapter titles). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And for an inexperienced baker, and a writer writing a draft 1, things are going to get messy. That's how the cookie crumbles. BUT be proud of that mess because afterwards when you're doing the 2nd draft, it is going to be less of a mess. When you thought you’d have a beautiful hand-crafted Bowser for the con but end up stealing your baby Cousin’s costume instead 🤣🤣🤣⁣ ⁣ ⭐️ Doing Cosplay is just like creating Goals: ⁣ ⁣ You get this big grand idea - envision it, work on a plan to execute it, and then the shoot or the con or whatever is only a day away and you PANIC because you haven’t worked on the cosplay AT ALL and now you have to throw it together. 😫⁣ ⁣ Sometimes it works out, sometimes you give up, sometimes your friends are literally supergluing you into your cosplay day of (RE: my Doc Ock cosplay 😂😂) ⁣ ⁣ We treat our goals the same way! We get these big grand ideas in our heads - envision them, sometimes we give ourselves a deadline. And then months pass by and you realize you haven’t worked towards your goal ONCE. Or maybe you did for a bit but you feel like you “fell off the wagon.” ⁣ (I HATE that phrase by the way.) ⁣ ⁣ Here’s the thing. Cosplays like @cstuds above ACTUALLY EXIST. People ARE capable of accomplishing their goals it just takes specific effort rather than PANIC ATTACK. ⁣ ⁣ That’s what I do with Geeknasium. I give you TOOLS so that you feel successful. I give you baby steps to work toward so that you aren’t having PANIC ATTACK when it comes to your goals. XTREMEPAPERS: You probably already know of these but xtremepapers is pretty good, especially if you are doing CIE IGCSE. It has revision notes and past papers.

Znotes.org: It has got a wide variety of IGCSE subjects and the notes can be downloaded in a pdf file through the website. Like IGCSE Pro - The Ultimate IGCSE Revision Website, ZNotes - Revise on... has got its notes updated to the latest 2016 syllabus. (However, these notes have been highly summarised and it is advised to go through more detailed notes)

Oxnotes: which boasts of notes for all three IGCSE Sciences.

CAMBRIDGE WEBSITE: last but not least, contains specification, past papers etc

Wow things have been so crazy, I haven’t done an “about the artist” for a while. So, something you may not know is that I am a family person.
