MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS
A graduate-level program called the Master of Business Administration (MBA) equips students with enhanced knowledge and abilities in business and management. For people hoping to hold administrative and leadership positions across a range of sectors, this is one of the most sought-after degrees. A typical MBA program offers possibilities for specialization in several business disciplines in addition to covering a wide variety of topics.
Essential Elements of an MBA Curriculum:
    Fundamental Curriculum:
Finance: Gaining knowledge about corporate finance, investment techniques, and financial management.
Marketing: Acquiring knowledge about market research, branding, and customer behavior.
Supply chains, logistics, and production processes are all managed by operations managers.
Accounting includes cost control, financial reporting, and auditing.
Economics: The study of macro- and microeconomics in relation to business choices.
Strategy: Creating long-term plans and competing strategies.
Organizational behavior is the study of how people act both individually and in groups inside an organization.
Leadership and Ethics: emphasizing corporate social responsibility, moral decision-making, and leadership philosophies.
Elective Courses and Specializations: Students can select electives to focus on a variety of topics, including technology management, international business, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, and human resources.
Capstone Projects and Internships: A capstone project or internship is a requirement of many MBA programs. It allows students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world business problems, frequently working in collaboration with businesses.
Opportunities for Networking: MBA schools offer a wealth of opportunities for networking with instructors, alumni, peers, and business professionals. These connections can be helpful for advancing one's career.
Case studies are a popular teaching technique in MBA programs where students examine actual business situations and brainstorm possible fixes.
Development of Soft Skills: Communication, negotiation, leadership, and teamwork are prioritized.

MBA Program Types:
Full-Time MBA: Usually a one to two-year program intended for individuals able to devote themselves to studying full-time. People who are just starting out in their jobs or who want to make a big professional move frequently pursue it.
Part-Time MBA: Designed for professionals in the workforce who wish to continue their education while they work. Weekends and nights are common times for classes to be offered.
The Executive MBA program is designed for seasoned professionals (often with over a decade of experience) who aspire to progress into higher-level leadership positions. High-level strategic management is the main emphasis of the usually part-time programs.
Online MBA: Provides students with the option to finish their degree at their own pace. For people who need to balance, it is perfect.
The Global MBA program focuses on worldwide business and may provide study abroad options or collaborations with multinational organizations.

If AFTG was set in the world of The Hunger Games:
Allison is from District 1. She’s a career from the district that makes luxury goods and it explains why her parents are so image-obsessed. Her district-partner, Seth, died in her arms during her games. Many of the Ravens are from 1 or the other Career districts, 2 and 4.
Kevin and Riko are from 2. Two is the darling pet of the Capitol and they’re “brothers” who win consecutive years (they’re Cashmere and Gloss, but from 2). The Moriyamas were a Capitol family who got stuck in 2 when the borders closed (they moved in the opposite direction as the Plinth family). Kayleigh Day was the victor of the first Hunger Games (or maybe the 10th? Maybe she’s this world’s Lucy Gray, who accidentally transformed the Games for years to come and who disappeared mysteriously). The Moriyamas took in Kevin when Kayleigh died, which is how Kevin and Riko grew up as “brothers.”
Renee is from District Three, breeding ground for technology and rebels. The Capitolites love her because she’s a good girl, a model victor. She also makes concessions to Capitol fashion in a way most other victors don’t (rainbow hair). But it’s all a façade to hide her aid to the rebellion. Laila could also be from Three, which is why she has mysterious connections even though she’s not a Career. She’s tied to the rebel network from birth because her father is neck-deep in the plot.
Jean and Elodie are from District 4. A Career district, but not as highly valued as 1 and 2. Jean goes to the Games at 16 and emerges victorious. Elodie is reaped two years later, when Jean, 18 and a Victor, can do nothing to stop it. He cannot help her escape his fate. He mentors her and he watches her die.
Cat’s from 6, transportation. Her family runs a mechanic’s shop and Cat drives an illegal motorcycle as a kid.
Matt is from District 7, lumber, which is why he’s so strong.
Andrew, Aaron, Nicky, and Katelyn are all from District 8, textiles. I imagine this is a district with a lot of child labour in factories and which is pretty poor. The only one of the four of them to go to the Games is Andrew. Aaron’s name was the one reaped. Andrew didn’t even volunteer. He just marched up there, claiming to be Aaron and has been living as his twin ever since. Andrew Minyard is the youngest victor to ever win the Games (he tied Riko for winning at 14, but Riko was almost 15 while Andrew was barely 14, and Riko had never gotten over Andrew "stealing" his achievement).
Neil is from District 10, livestock. His father is The Butcher in more ways than one. His father was a Peacekeeper who stayed in District 10 past his initial assignment and became a sort of hitman, taking orders from the Capitol and local authorities alike and killing for fun whenever he got bored. Jack is also from District 10, the year after Neil, and having to mentor him is making Neil reconsider taking up his father’s career.
Dan is from 11, agriculture and the first district to join 12 in the rebellion. She was an upset victory, because no one expected the girl from 11 to ever win anything. She grew up in the poorest part of town and, like girls from the Seam in 12, had to turn to sex work to survive. She’s a really good mentor and she often volunteers to mentor 12 when they need a someone, which means she mentors Robin alongside Andrew.
Robin is from 12. Twelve never had a victor (or has no living ones) the year Robin is reaped and someone from another district gets assigned to them. Andrew is Robin’s mentor, even though they’re from different districts.
Jeremy is from the Capitol. He’s not a victor, because he would never be reaped. He comes from a prestigious Capitol family, one that didn’t even turn to cannibalism or sympathize with the rebels during the Dark Days. But he’s the Sejanus Plinth black sheep of his family and he’s entirely opposed to the Hunger Games — he joins the rebels as an inside man.
Others:
Given the gender situation in Panem, Cody’s either from 12 (and Covey) or 1. Either way, their gender is looked at with complete bewilderment in the very binary games, but is viewed as either a weird cultural aspect of the the Covey or something that’s just “the latest fad” in 1. If Cameron Winters also exists, then they have to be from 1.
***
The Mentors:
Tetsuji mentors 2. Maybe he’s eventually hired as a Gamemaker, but maybe the main branch of the Moriyamas family never left the Capitol and it’s Kengo/Ichirou who are Gamemakers.
Wymack is either a mentor in 8 (Andrew) or 11 (Dan). He knocked Kayleigh Day up on her victory tour and never found out about Kevin’s existence, until the day Kevin volunteered for the Hunger Games. He doesn't know he's Kevin's father until after the rebellion starts.
Rhemann is a mentor in Three and is a rebel (this world's Beetee).
***
Kathy Ferdinand is Caesar Flickerman.
***
Victors by year:
60: Drake Spear (18)
61: Thea (18)
62: A male career, age 18, to balance out all the younger winners from non-career districts on this list. Grayson Johnson maybe.
63: Renee Walker (15)
64: Riko Moriyama (14)
65: Kevin Day (15)
66: Allison Reynolds (17). Seth Gordon (17) is her district-partner, but he dies.
67: Dan Wilds (17)
68: "Aaron" Minyard (14)
69: Laila Dermott (16)
70: Matt Boyd (18)
71: Jean Moreau (16) -- Zane goes in this year too, becomes an ally to Jean because Jean's a Career and he wants to join the Career Pack, then tries to kill Jean in his sleep.
72: Neil Josten (17)
73: Catalina Alvarez (18)
74: Robin Cross (14) and Elodie Moreau (13) are both reaped. Both die. Jean, Andrew, and Dan are their mentors and grow closer. Jean stops trying to be good after Elodie dies and throws his lot in with the rebels. The Mockingjay is... Lucas Johnson? Cody Winters? Or maybe Robin shouldn't die and should be the Mockingjay instead, with Andrew as her Haymitch.
75, Quarter Quell: Final ages for everyone the year of the 75th Hunger Games: Drake (33), Thea (32), Renee (27), Riko (25), Kevin (25), Allison (26), Dan (25), Andrew (21), Laila (22), Matt (23), Jean (20), Neil (20), Cat (20). Robin, if she's alive, (15).

In Amity Park, where spectral activity had always been more intense than in other places characterized by such phenomena, the representatives and explorers appointed by the government, under the guidance of the Fentons, attempted to deploy a containment network for the unknown entities that had become recurrent in the area over the past few years.
The initial idea was simple: treat ghosts as threats to human security. After all, the attacks and incidents in which they were involved showed that they lacked rational thought when dealing with humans. Devoid of empathy, feelings, or a defined moral compass, ghosts acted without remorse in many of the cases documented by the Fentons and in collaboration with the follow-up investigations carried out by the GIW.
Thus, the installation of containment devices in Amity Park, the epicenter of the disaster, was carried out. The belief was that this would prevent a massive expansion to other populated areas. Dr. Fenton, along with her husband’s support, was assigned to work on the project in collaboration with several GIW delegates.
But what seemed like an organized plan to protect the city quickly turned into a battlefield. The ghosts, feeling hunted and trapped, began to grow more volatile in their appearances.
Instead of containing them, the repression only fueled the violence. The situation escalated when the echoes of this confrontation spread, reaching other entities, other areas.
The government named it: Persistent Ectoplasmic Interference.
The Justice League heard part of the matter, and although they did not interfere directly, they kept monitoring everything and investigating through their own means. Their responsibilities were many, and their enemies more tangible. But that didn’t mean they were waiting to be caught off guard.
They didn’t break the boundaries set by the government and its management of the situation, but in the shadows, they tracked and gathered every relevant piece of information.
When spectral activity began to touch the borders of the cities defended by several league members — Central City, Star City, Metropolis — the government delegates and involved branches found it difficult to keep the heroes out of the matter.
Spontaneous portals, invisible presences, energy disturbances that even the Lanterns could not filter. The so-called ‘ghosts’ didn’t cause turmoil or disasters as predicted in the records obtained. At least not indiscriminately. They had specific zones, places, sites to attack.
The heroes found it difficult to try to stop them. Even with the Fenton technology that Batman, Cyborg, Flash (Wally West), and Red Robin had adapted to fight them.
It was then that Danny Nightingale, ex-Fenton, appeared before them.
Danny offered reports. Dimensional maps, ghost classifications, containment protocols without harm. Technology that surpassed that of his parents, from whom he seemed distant. According to him, his thoughts on ghosts were vastly different. To him and his older sister, their parents were too caught up in their opinions to see beyond their partial research. And those who sponsored and supported them were even more so.
With his collaboration with the League, the young man wanted to prove that yes: some ghosts were hostile. But many more simply existed. And that, he said, was not a crime.
The League accepted his help. Or so he thought.
But where Danny saw understanding, they saw patterns. Patterns that could be coded. Predicted. And controlled.
Thus, the Rehousing Project was born. Not an offensive, but a “protection strategy.” Its mission was clear: to identify spectral entities not recognized by dimensional continuity, neutralize those that affected the human environment, and isolate all those that escaped the boundaries of the “comprehensible.”
Neither Deadman nor Greta were mentioned in the documents. Because they were “different beings.” Singular souls trapped in this world after being unable to transcend to the proper rest, whether through magic or dark arts. Not like the erratic specters who continued causing havoc without reasoning or understanding the fragility of cities and those who inhabited them.
And when Ember McLain, the ghost of what the GIW categorized as an amplified lament, exploded during a concert, causing significant emotional imbalance among the participants, the problem escalated even further.
Ember was overwhelmed by what was happening to her kind, many of her loved ones had disappeared. They had rescued many, but not all were found. So, when she felt the fear, the rejection, the contempt burning her throat — she used her gift, out of desperation. Not to dominate. But to make them listen. To make them feel.
But when she projected her voice onto the human minds, pushing emotions to the surface of thousands of people… she only reinforced their fears. And the decision was unanimous: one could not trust beings that felt so differently.
That day, most of the heroes were convinced that ghosts were not living beings with complex emotions.
They were anomalies. Reactions. Echoes with teeth.
And that same day, Danny stopped being the hero ally.

Snezka and SCP-049 beginning (lore)
Tumblr media
1. Dr. Snezhana Lewandowski lore (Snezka)
(Events before the containment breach).
In the corridors of the SCP Foundation, where secrets and anomalies are hidden from the public eye, Dr. Snezhana Lewandowski worked. Her life was full of mystery, and this is what drew her to the world of anomalies.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Name: Snezhana Lewandowski
Age: ██
Date of Birth: 27/08/ ████
Clearance Level: Third
Personnel Category: B
Specialty: IT Specialist. Psychologist.
Place of work: Zone 19
Foundation experience: 5 years
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Education
First: IT-Specialist.
Snezhana enrolled in the Faculty of Information Technology at a state university. During her studies, she specialized in cybersecurity and data analytics.
After graduating with a Bachelor's degree, then a Master's degree, she continued her education in graduate school, where she focused on research in the areas of:
1. Information Security.
2. Big data analytics.
She defended her doctoral dissertation on "Anomaly detection methods for system and big data", which attracted the attention of the SCP Foundation.
Second: Psychologist.
After achieving the success she needed in technical education, she decided to fulfill her life's main dream of working in the field of psychology. Due to some unpleasant events in her childhood, she did not have the opportunity to study in this field, so she had to temporarily change her orientation in life.
From an early age, Snezhana has shown an interest in psychology and human behavior. The motivation for this comes from a tough youth and personal traumatic experiences. Her goal was to help those who couldn't make it on their own, as she once couldn't. After enough time had passed, she managed to apply to the academy to study psychology. Upon graduating from the academy, Snezhana specialized in the areas of:
1. Clinical psychology.
2. Experimental psychology.
3. Counseling psychology.
After she got a job in a psychoneurological dispensary, gaining valuable experience and practice, a broader understanding of the inner world of people.
Invitation to the Foundation
Finding contacts and personal information about Snezhana was not difficult for the Foundation. Having noticed her abilities, the Foundation ordered to send a recruiter - ████ ██████ - into her social circle to get more information about the candidate. As a result, the recruiter ████ and Snezhana became close friends.
After some time of observation and communication of the recruiter with her, having received all the necessary information, the Board of the Foundation came to the decision to give her the invitation to work.
Realizing the risks and danger, Snezhana accepted the invitation, having resigned from her previous job after working for about 2 years.
After testing, interviewing and training, she became an employee of the Foundation with a level 2 security clearance.
Career at the Foundation
Snezhana started her career as a junior specialist in cybersecurity, a little later gaining a junior position in psychology.
Her specialization is a unique combination of programming and psychology, allowing her to look at anomalies from two perspectives: both as complex systems that require analysis, and as entities with their own consciousness and motivation.
Incident
While analyzing data, Dr. Lewandowski came across strange signals on the network. These were not just hacking attempts - they were coming from an entity known as SCP-███ She and others in the programming field developed a comprehensive defense strategy. In the process, they faced many challenges: the SCP-███ system was constantly adapting, and they had to find new solutions. Under conditions of stress and strain, Dr. Lewandowski managed to implement their real-time protection algorithm.
After that, for some reason, she was assigned more work in the field of psychology. Also, her success in the incident gave her a promotion to level 3 clearance.
In psychology
Dr. Lewandowski researches and analyzes object psychology. She develops methods of interacting with abnormal entities and helps in understanding their behavior.
Real security is achieved not only through physical barriers, but also through the emotional stability of employees. She took time to help her colleagues through seminars and psychology trainings for the staff of the Facility, trying to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual support among the employees.
For about 2 years, Dr. Lewandowski worked only with Safe Class facilities, and after being promoted to Senior Specialist in Psychology, she was ordered to work with Euclid Class facilities.
This promotion led her to meet one subject that changed her life, and in the future, his too... SCP-049 - Plague Doctor.
2. Lewandowski and SCP-049
(Events on the eve of the containment breach).
Experiment
The first days of Dr. Lewandowski and the SCP-049 subject were formal, protocol-driven. Lewandowski conducted standard interview sessions in an attempt to understand the motives and nature of his subject. The subject was cool and detached.
She knew SCP-049 was dangerous, but she saw him not only as an anomaly, but as a complex, multifaceted individual. His words were full of sadness and loneliness, imbued with longing and melancholy. She understood his logic, his pain, his desire to “help,” even if the methods were questionable, but perhaps all is not what it seems at first glance.
And yet she too had thought similar things to what SCP-049 had said, that the world was sick, humanity needed to be saved. Ever since she was a child, she had had thoughts like his in her mind.
She had a theory that there were no bad people in the world, but wounded people who had not been healed. She believed that a person becomes wounded, after being treated unfairly or cruelly, by similarly wounded people. If a person does not work on their wound, it will not heal, because there are many wounded people in the world that will scratch that wound, making it bigger. And this pain and resentment, like a virus or rot, infects his soul completely, making the person the same as the one who once inflicted the wound. Later that person carries this pain and resentment further, taking it out on others, making more infected. It is an endless cycle that cannot be eradicated completely, but can be minimized. Some can handle it, and some need help. You have to want help, you have to understand the situation and try to solve it too, because no one can help you better than you can help yourself, and that's what Snezka had to go through.
She thought these thoughts were strange, but after so many years, there was a creature that literally reflected her thoughts, with whom you can share this theory, and perhaps get understanding.
She saw herself in him, only a better version of herself, but with the same mental problems.
— How can that be!? He's just an abnormal object, why can't I stop thinking about him!? I can't stop thinking about him, his words. Maybe it's my soft nature, too compassionate, empathic, or maybe it's his anomalous action?
Dr. Lewandowski felt a kindred spirit in him and wanted to have more sessions with him, and most importantly, she wanted to get away from formal conversation, and share her thoughts with him about their common problem.
She decided to send a request to the management above about the idea of having experimental conversations with SCP-049, so that he would see Dr. Lewandowski as genuinely understanding, get comfortable with her, and tell her more about his treatment, himself, and the fever. Approval was granted, but it was a long wait. Finally she could be sincere with him.
Trust
New conversations with SCP-049, but not as formal as before, it took several such conversations before SCP-049 settled down with Dr. Lewandowski.
He told her more about the fever, about the treatment, they began to have deep dialogues about life and death, about philosophy, about society, SCP-049 even began to tell stories from his own life. Lewandowski also told him about her life, but she liked to listen to him more.
She found comfort in his monologues about the world, about death, about eternity, his stories about medicine. Her mind resisted, but her heart could no longer deny it: she felt something more than professional interest in him. It was a dangerous game, bordering on insanity. She knew it, but she couldn't stop. Lewandowski realized that her feelings were illogical, unacceptable, but they were there. Her greatest fear was that the Foundation would suspect something and restrict her access to him, which unfortunately happened...
Another conversation between SCP-049 and Lewandowski, the subject had already started addressing her by her favorite version of her name, Snezka, while she addressed him as Doctor. Suddenly the object fell silent.
— Doctor? Is everything all right?
— ...Yes. Snezka, let me demonstrate something to you, you should know....
The subject held out his hand, as far as it was possible being handcuffed for safety's sake, and nodded, offering to touch her. Sensing that this venture might not end well, Lewandowski extended her palm, and SCP-049 touched it.
— Wait, what...? Oh... My thoughts about your abilities were valid. - Was the last thing Snezka said before the cell door opened and she was summoned to leave.
Reprimand
— Dr. Lewandowski, your experimental conversations with the subject have come to an end. We have all the information we need, you will no longer have to work with SCP-049. Let's be honest, it seems you've begun to abuse your access to the facility, and the Foundation board has some questions about that.
— ...It was part of an experiment, you see.... It gave you a lot of new information, before such experiments such informative results were not observed. - said Lewandowski in her defense.
— Lucky for you that it didn't end in your death! Objects like 049 are dangerous, you can't trust them or reach out to them. Or have you forgotten what he did to Dr. Hamm? And everything was fine at first, too. This object is unpredictable! You're lucky you're a valued member of our staff, and this is the first time you've had an incident like this, otherwise we'd be forced to take action.
Separation
More work with other facilities has now fallen on her. One day, she dared to inquire about SCP-049. But she didn't get a clear answer.
Meanwhile, SCP-049 was asking the same question to the staff - when would Dr. Lewandowski visit?
— We're sorry, but Dr. Lewandowski has declined to work with you, SCP-049.
— ...That can't be true, you're lying! She couldn't have done it, I can feel it!
Subject SCP-049 became hostile to the Foundation, uncooperative and drove all attempts at contact away.
All or Nothing
— "Is the dream and freedom worth risking the lives and safety of others?" — Pondered by Dr. Lewandowski . — "Risking everything, insanity, selfishness(?). But if it's for a great purpose, for the good of all mankind..."
INCIDENT ██-████
(Latest walkie-talkie recordings)
(Static noise and warning signal sound)
Operator One: (Confused) This is operator one. Security protocol has failed! Repeat, security protocol has failed! All subjects... all subjects are at large!
Agent █: Reporting a security breach in Sector 3. Doors unresponsive, cameras disabled. Looks like SCP-███ is out of control.
Commander ███████: be careful! Confirm the presence of the intruder and take action to apprehend him.
(Noise, sound of gunshots)
Agent ██: (panic) This is crazy! Reporting SCP-███ is not alone. There are several other objects present. Very aggressive, we need help, repeat ████████████████ (interference).
Commander ████████: Come in, Agent ██, come in!!! (communication lost).
Commander ████████: Fuck...
Dr. █████: It could be SCP-███! He could have hacked into the security system and released the other facilities.
Commander ████: █████, are you sure? How?!
Dr. █████: I can't say for sure, but... (struggle noise) HOW ARE YOU!? STOP, DOCTOR... (interference).
Commander ████: All personnel to the assault! Stop the targets at all costs! What the hell's going on! Where's all the security personnel!?
(explosions, shouting)
Agent █████: They're all over the place
Agent ██: Where's the ██ squad?
Agent █████: they're holding back SCP-682
Agent ██: he's the last fucking thing we need!
SB-2: SB-1, this is SB-2! We've got-- we've got SCP-███breaking through! We can't stop him!
SB-1: Hold him off at all costs! Support is on the way.
(Siren and explosions)
Operator Three: SB-1, this is Operator Three! The ██ camera signal is gone! SCP-█████... he's out!
SB-1: All SB personnel to camera ██! Isolate SCP-█████! Repeat, isolate SCP-█████! (radio interference)
End of Calm
There has been a massive failure of the entire Foundation security system in Area 19, as well as a power failure. Security protocol, alarms, and warnings went off with a delay with most of the dangerous objects wreaking havoc in the Foundation. The alleged culprit of the SCP-“”" incident. Likely had accomplices, an investigation is underway.
During the incident, a large number of soldiers and staff died. There was a leak of several objects to freedom. The lists of dead and missing were equal. Dr. Snezana Lewandowski and SCP-049 were also listed as missing, among dozens of personnel and facilities.
The SCP Foundation, having suffered loss and damage, is doing its best to restore order after the chaos, but the world is no longer safe as before.
3. Conversations between Lewandowski and SCP-049
Interviewer: Dr. Snezhana Lewandowski, Area 19
Interviewee: SCP-049
[START RECORDING]
Dr. Lewandowski: Good afternoon, SCP-049. I am your psychologist, Dr. Snezhana Lewandowski. It's a pleasure to meet you!
SCP-049: Greetings, doctor, I hope we can work together.
Dr. Lewandowski: I think so! So, how are you feeling today?
SCP-049: (pause) I feel... A burden. A burden that is hard to describe in words. Every day I see suffering, and it depresses me.
Dr. Lewandowski: Are you talking about human suffering? About those whom you refer to as sick people?
SCP-049: Yes. The weathering is not just a physical condition. This world, this wretched piece of the universe, is forever doomed to suffer. (Irritated) Mortals, powerless over their own weaknesses, forever seek salvation in false doctrines and vain hopes. They build cities out of flimsy material, create weapons that can destroy themselves, and cling to life without realizing its true nature. I see their pain, their despair, feel their fear of the inevitable. And I know I can help them. But they don't understand. They fear me! They reject my mercy! They call me a monster, a monstrosity! I see them trying to stop me, lock me up, impose their rules. But can you limit what is beyond their comprehension? Can one defeat that which is eternal? Their attempts are futile. I will always exist. Let them resist, let them fear. It only confirms their blindness.
(A moment's silence)
Dr. Lewandowski: (Sigh)...Have you ever thought about why this “fever” bothers you so much? What exactly causes you to feel so strongly about it?
SCP-049: (sighs) I have witnessed a lot of suffering. I have seen people lose hope, I have seen them fall victim to their weakness. This makes me want to help, but sometimes I feel that my efforts are futile.
Dr. Lewandowski: Do you feel that your help is really effective? Or is there any doubt about your methods?
SCP-049: (with some irritation) My methods are the only way to free people from their suffering! I cannot afford to doubt my vocation. But sometimes... It catches up with me.
Dr. Lewandowski: It is normal to have doubts. Many people face similar feelings. What do you do to deal with these emotions?
SCP-049: I continue my work. I focus on my goals.
Dr. Lewandowski: Maybe you should take time to reflect on yourself and your feelings. It may help you better understand your motivation and calm your mind.
SCP-049: I don't think so, but... You may be right. I worry that if I stop, the darkness around me will consume everything.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Pause)...How I understand that. Sometimes you have to take a step back to see the big picture. It doesn't mean you stop fighting the disease. It can only make you stronger.
SCP-049: Perhaps...
Dr. Lewandowski: This is an important step. And remember, you are not alone in your experience. I'm here to help you make sense of it.
SCP-049: Thank you... I'll try to remember that.

[START RECORDING]
Dr. Lewandowski: Good evening Doctor, how are you feeling?
SCP-049: It would be better if I were allowed to return to my work.
Dr. Lewandowski: Don't worry Doctor, you will definitely be given that opportunity...
SCP-049: Really? Really!? I'm finally going back to work, I'm glad to hear that! When do I get a patient?
Dr. Lewandowski: ...Unfortunately, I don't have that information.
SCP-049: Maybe you could influence this situation? Explain my urgent need to progress with my treatment!
Dr. Lewandowski: I don't think I can... Doctor, you need to rest, you've been working hard. As a doctor, you should know that rest is very important for high productivity.
SCP-049: (Sighs) I wish I had something to do in these four walls...
Dr. Lewandowski: I have a suggestion. Do you like to read? I can bring you some books if the Foundation leadership says so.
SCP-049: That's a very marvelous idea.
Dr. Lewandowski: What kind of literature do you prefer?
SCP-049: I was interested in modern books about medicine, it is interesting to study what is being written about it now. It would be interesting to read something from philosophy.
Dr. Lewandowski: Excellent choice Doctor, we have the same taste in literature. Would you mind if I brought a couple more books on my recommendation for you?
SCP-049: Sounds good, I agree.
Dr. Lewandowski: See you, Doctor.
SCP-049: See you, thank you for such an interesting proposal, Dr. Lewandowski.

[START RECORDING]
Dr. Lewandowski: Good evening, Doctor.
SCP-049: Good evening, Dr. Lewandowski.
Dr. Lewandowski: I want to understand how you feel when you look at the world through the prism of your...your uniqueness.
SCP-049: (hesitantly) Uniqueness?
Dr. Lewandowski: I'm talking about wisdom. You have lived for centuries, watching the birth and decline of civilizations. What have you learned in that time?
(Minute's silence)
SCP-049: I've seen nations rise and fall, empires born of dust and turned to stone, ideas ignite people's hearts and turn to ash. (Pause). I realized that existence is a perpetual cycle of birth and death, a constant struggle for survival. People are so hungry for meaning, but it eludes them.
Dr. Lewandowski: Isn't this struggle, this longing for meaning, the very essence of being?
SCP-049: (With sadness in his voice) Meaning... (Pause) It wanders like a ghost through the labyrinths of our consciousness. We search for it in religion, in science, in art, but it eludes us, leaving only emptiness.
Dr. Lewandowski: But don't you see, Doctor? You create your own meaning by helping people to get rid of the disease. You believe in what you're doing, Doctor. You believe it's necessary.
SCP-049: Faith... (Pause) This is another one of those ghosts that haunt us. I see things that others do not see, and it pains me. It pains me to see the suffering that is inevitable for all living things.
Dr. Lewandowski: And you're trying to help, Doctor...
SCP-049: (Interrupting) We are but pawns in the hands of fate. Our actions are insignificant in comparison to eternity.
Dr. Lewandowski: Don't say that, Doctor. You are not a pawn. You are the creator of your own destiny. And I believe you will find your path, your meaning.
SCP-049: (Heavy sigh) But not in this place, not here, not now.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Pause) You know Doctor... I'd like to share with you a thought that has been on my mind since I was a child.
SCP-049: What is it that's bothering you?
[recording interrupted for 5 minutes]
Dr. Lewandowski: I almost forgot, the Foundation gave me permission to bring you some books.
(Took several books out of her bag and placed a stack on the table next to the subject)
SCP-049: (With joy in her voice) Glad to hear that! Immensely grateful to the Foundation and of course to you, Dr. Lewandowski.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Smiling) I'm glad it lifted your spirits. See you later, we'll be sure to discuss what we read next time.
SCP-049: I look forward to seeing you.

Dr. Lewandowski: Hello, Doctor! How are you today?
SCP-049: Good afternoon, Dr. Lewandowski. I'm feeling... quite well. I've been studying some of the books you brought me at the last meeting.
Dr. Lewandowski: Excellent! Which books did you enjoy the most?
SCP-049: I was impressed with the works on human nature. Their authors convey emotions and experiences in a very subtle way.
Dr. Lewandowski: Yes, literature can indeed be a great way to understand people. Is there anything that surprised you about these books?
SCP-049: I was surprised by how diverse human feelings are. Everyone experiences love, fear, and hope in their own way.
Dr. Lewandowski: Yes, humans are amazing creatures! What about you? Have you ever experienced something similar to love?
SCP-049: (Pause) I'm not sure. My life has been devoted to fighting the windfall, and I haven't given much thought to such feelings. But... sometimes I feel warm when I talk to you. (turns away)
Dr. Lewandowski: I'm glad to see your condition has improved markedly. I feel warm when we talk, too. (Pause) You are an unusually interesting conversationalist.
SCP-049: (surprised) Interesting? I've always thought of myself as rather... odd. But it's nice to hear you say that. You don't hear that very often in this place, in general... I've never heard it from you.
Dr. Lewandowski: Weird people can be very interesting! We all have our unique qualities. For example, your view of the world is something special, not strange. By the way, have you read that novel?
SCP-049: The Master and Margarita? Yes, an interesting work about the power of love and the struggle against darkness.
Dr. Lewandowski: I think there are so many layers and philosophical themes there. You know, you sound like the Master (Laughs).
SCP-049: Hmm... There's something, maybe, and you remind me of Marguerite.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Laughs) That's probably true. Unfortunately, I have to go. Don't forget, you deserve to be understood. And I'm here to help you do just that.
SCP-049: (With a slight sadness in his voice) Your support gives me strength.
Dr. Lewandowski: We all need each other's support.
SCP-049: I look forward to our future conversations.

Dr. Lewandowski: Good afternoon Doctor, I would like to know what your thoughts have been occupied with lately?
SCP-049: Greetings. (Pause) Relatively recently, I've been thinking about the nature of human cruelty.
Dr. Lewandowski: Cruelty... (Pause) Unfortunately, it permeates every facet of existence, like a shadow that follows the light.
SCP-049: Yes. (Sighs) I watch people, and it makes me sad how capable they are of terrible things. There is a darkness lurking in their hearts that sometimes overshadows even the brightest impulses.
Dr. Lewandowski: As it happens, humanity is a paradox. On the one hand, it creates beautiful works of art, science and culture, and on the other hand, it is capable of ruthless acts of violence and hatred.
SCP-049: Exactly. I see how people can be kind and compassionate, but at the same time they easily cross the line into becoming instruments of destruction. It causes me deep sadness and bewilderment.
Dr. Lewandowski: I share your feelings and support your thoughts, Doctor.
SCP-049: It is most gratifying to know that, Dr. Lewandowski. My mission is to rid mankind of disease. At times I am at a loss as to what to do about this inner cruelty? How do you heal a society that is tearing itself apart?
Dr. Lewandowski: You see, many of these atrocities come from fear, ignorance and hatred. Or perhaps they were mentally wounded once, and that wound, without proper treatment, began to fester, infecting the whole mind and soul.
SCP-049: (Interested) I like the way you think. Abuse is not just physical violence. It is also words that hurt, betrayals and indifference to the suffering of others. In each of these acts I see a reflection of the disease.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Sigh) Sadly, dreams of a world where humanity can overcome its cruelty and learn to love are utopian.
SCP-049: I'm not so sure about that. It's certainly not an easy task, the whole world and one me, the road to healing is long and thorny. But the more I work at it, the closer that peace comes.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Pause) Perhaps someday people will realize that cruelty is not part of their true nature. Perhaps they will learn to see in each other a reflection of themselves and learn to care for those who suffer. Perhaps... (Pause) But sometimes you get the idea that some people are so rotten in their souls that treatment will be useless, and the only thing left to do is to rid the world of that person so they don't hurt others. This is not humane, but in such a case it is possible to make sure that this person stays alive but is not capable of hurting others.
SCP-049: (Surprised) Your thoughts make sense. We've had a rather pleasant dialog. I've never had such an in-depth discussion with anyone else. I feel much better.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Smiling) That's wonderful, Doctor, I confess I don't often have someone to talk to about this either.

Dr. Lewandowski: Good afternoon, Doctor, how is your mood?
SCP-049: Greetings. My mood is a little down, without my work I'm having a hard time mentally.
Dr. Lewandowski: I'm sorry to hear that, Doctor. (Pause) Let me ask you something.
SCP-049: I'm listening to you.
Dr. Lewandowski: Do you have any pleasant memory from your life?
SCP-049: (Sighs) Unfortunately, there aren't many... (Pause) I do recall one. Yes, it was a time when I was out in the wild, searching for rare herbs and plants in the forest. No people and just the sounds of nature. And then I came to a field, a field of lavender. (Sighs) It's... It was a magical feeling. The field was filled with bright colors and the air was full of a light, slightly spicy aroma. I felt like I was in another world, away from my worries. I walked slowly among the flowers, watching the bees as they worked to gather nectar. The bees are not aware of the suffering that humans are experiencing, they are just doing their job, benefiting the world around them. It made me think: maybe that's what humanity needs - the simple pursuit of the good. (Pause) The whole day I was there. It was wonderful. I dream of being in that moment again one day.
Dr. Lewandowski: That's... It's a wonderful memory, very beautiful.
SCP-049: Yes... It's beautiful. You know, I feel a little better.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Smiling) That's wonderful to hear. Try to remember something else, good thoughts can smooth out your condition within these walls.
SCP-049: I'll try. Thank you for encouraging me to remember this.

Dr. Lewandowski: Good afternoon Doctor, how is your mood?
SCP-049: Good afternoon Snezka. I guess my mood is somewhere between average and good. Good to see you, how are you feeling?
Dr. Lewandowski: I'm not bad. I have something I'd like to give you. I had a hard time getting permission for it from the foundation, but....
(Took out of her bag a small pillow with a lavender flower print pillowcase and placed it on the table in front of the subject).
This is for you. I remember that you don't need sleep, but that's not what it's for. Rather it is for coziness, and your favorable mood. This pillow is stuffed with lavender.
SCP-049: (Surprised) It's for me?! What a wonderful gift, lavender really calms me down.
Dr. Lewandowski: I'm glad the gift is useful to you. I would have brought you something else, but unfortunately the Foundation has only authorized this one so far.
SCP-049: I am honored by such attention, thank you, Dr..... Snezka. (Pause) ...How did I not notice that... Your last name is...
Dr. Lewandowski: (Interested) Hmm?
SCP-049: Lewandowski, that last name comes from the Old Polish word levanda, which means lavender. What a wonderful coincidence, my favorite plant.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Smiles) Yes, that's right, my favorite too by the way. I am amazed at your knowledge, Doctor!
SCP-049: It is a pleasure to be appreciated and understood by you. I must admit, you are not out of my mind.
Dr. Lewandowski: (Embarrassed) Oh... You know, it's mutual. Doctors aren't supposed to have favorites, but I have to admit...(Pause) You're my favorite patient.
(momentary silence)
SCP-049: I wish we could meet more often...
Dr. Lewandowski: I'd like that too, Doctor...

hi hound, got a question for ya . kind of related to phone sex. Yippee
anyway, so i feel its kind of established in dialtown that being a phone head is equal to being amab, and being a typewriter head is equal to being afab (based on oliver and karens refusal to date types/phones respectively ofc) so i was wondering - what about people born with neither, like karen? would she be considered a form of intersex by society?
followup - how do like. Genetics work? like are they born with specific heads based on their parents (would karen be more likely to have a printer child, for example)?
Appologies for the long and strange questions, your game is rotting me as we speak
anyway, so i feel its kind of established in dialtown that being a phone head is equal to being amab, and being a typewriter head is equal to being afab (based on oliver and karens refusal to date types/phones respectively ofc)
Kiiind of. It's mainly a cultural thing. Basically, the tradition is to assign heads to babies based on the gender assigned at birth. Because of this, someone with a phone head is widely considered by others to be male, and vice versa for typewriters, and this is why many trans people in-universe switch, in the same way as someone might style their hair or change their wardrobe in ours. However, because the heads are modular (and can be changed), it's best to view this correlation as more of a cultural trend rather than a rigid system that everyone follows without exception, one of which I'll explain in the next part of the answer.
what about people born with neither, like karen? would she be considered a form of intersex by society?
Karen actually HAD a typewriter head before she was given the printer. A little bit of background context here: Callum Crown, the inventor of the phone head, invented his first ever cybernetic augmentations (his revolutionary prosthetic limbs) in order to help other disabled people gain mobility and independence. He wanted to give other people the same opportunities that his technology had given him.
When he moved onto the phone head concept, he never forgot about his initial goal of using technology to help people with disabilities. Karen's typewriter head was actually a developmental adaptation. Basically, it allowed a young averbal Karen to produce images, which assisted her in communication before she could learn to speak (and helped her learn to speak sooner than if she had never gotten the upgrade.) While it's quite a modern solution for a disability that wasn't well understood in Crown's time, it's absolutely in line with his philosophies and it's an application he'd be very enthusiastic about, if he was still fully conscious.
Similarly, there are NPCs in-game who have non-standard heads and aren't trans or non-binary, like Rachel at the Dialtown News Network, who has a teleprompter head! In much the same way Karen's head was switched for utility purposes, the same is true for many people who work certain jobs where these heads come in handy. Therefore, I think it's safer to say that someone's head type more or less correlates with their overall identity, with gender, occupation, or any other relevant circumstances factoring into what kind of head they might have.
There's a few NB NPCs in-game and the cultural way many express that is by having hybrid heads, or heads with elements of both phones + typewriters. Take Curie, the curator of the DT Modern Art museum, who has a typewriter head with a phone dial added to it. Gabby (the store clerk who sells phone parts in Uptown Dialtown) also mentions that this practice is common.
followup - how do like. Genetics work? like are they born with specific heads based on their parents (would karen be more likely to have a printer child, for example)?
Genetics don't factor into it outside of the cultural tendency to give phone/typewriter heads based on the gender of the child. Basically, all babies are born with an adapter, and right after birth, the baby is given their new head. Think about how difficult it would be to give birth to someone with a FULL-SIZED typewriter head! There's more than one reason it's set up the way it is, but that's the most important thing to mention. Hope this helps!

⚢ Pairing - Jihyo x Reader
✎ Word Count - 2.1k
☆ Genre - Angst
♡ Description - Embarking on a spy mission with your girlfriend Jihyo goes terribly wrong when you get severely injured (A/N: I hope you like this one 🐰 anon)
★・・・・・・★
Months after you first met, you found yourself in an extraordinary relationship with the skilled, brilliant leader of the secret spy organization TWICE: Park Jihyo. Together, you made a formidable team, tackling dangerous missions and growing closer with every challenge you faced side by side.
One day, you were assigned a critical mission that involved intercepting highly classified information related to a sinister global organization known as "The Black Lotus." This organization was notorious for its involvement in illegal arms trade, human trafficking, and acts of terrorism.
The intel you received indicated that The Black Lotus was about to finalize a deal with a rogue nation, supplying them with advanced weaponry and technology. If the deal went through, it could destabilize the delicate balance of power in the region, putting countless innocent lives at risk.
To prevent this catastrophic event, your mission objectives were twofold:
1. Infiltrate the High-Security Facility: Jihyo, being a master of disguise and stealth, was tasked with infiltrating the heavily fortified headquarters of a Black Lotus subsidiary. The facility was protected by state-of-the-art security measures, including retinal scanners, laser grids, and an army of well-trained guards.
Your mission was to guide Jihyo, providing her with real-time analysis and strategic support from a secure location. As an experienced spy, you had excess knowledge of surveillance cameras, could hack into the facility's communications, and process information swiftly.
2. Retrieve the Encrypted Data: Jihyo's task was to gain access to the facility's central computer system and download the encrypted data containing information about the impending arms deal. Her skills as an expert hacker and martial artist would be essential in navigating the complex security network.
★・・・・・・★
The day of the mission arrived, and tension filled the air as you and Jihyo prepared to execute the operation. Jihyo noticed a flicker of concern in your eyes.
"You seem a bit off today," Jihyo said, her voice tinged with worry. "Are you sure you're up for this, my love?"
You couldn't hide your hesitation from her penetrating gaze. "I'll be fine, Jihyo. We have a duty to carry out, and the stakes are too high to back down now."
Her hand gently rested on yours, her touch soothing. "I trust you, but please promise me that you'll be cautious. I couldn't bear to lose you."
"I promise," you replied, mustering a smile. "We make an unbeatable team, and we'll get through this together."
With renewed determination, Jihyo slipped into the role of a Black Lotus operative, blending seamlessly with her surroundings. As she ventured into the heart of the heavily fortified headquarters, you couldn't help but feel a surge of pride and anxiety.
"I'm inside," Jihyo's voice crackled over the communication device. "The security is tighter than we expected, but I'm adapting. Keep an eye on those cameras, okay?"
"Roger that," you responded, your focus intensifying as you monitored the facility's surveillance feeds. "Stay sharp, Jihyo. You've got this."
As Jihyo progressed deeper into the facility, her every move became crucial. Unexpected obstacles and guards blocked her path, but she tackled each challenge with her trademark skill and tenacity. However, the situation escalated beyond your initial intelligence.
"Jihyo, the security protocols are more complicated than we thought," you said, your voice tense with concern. "Be careful. There's a patrol headed your way."
"I see them," Jihyo replied, her breath quickening. "I'll find another route. Just keep guiding me."
Your heart raced as you navigated her through the labyrinthine hallways. Then, the unexpected happened – an alarm blared, and chaos ensued.
"Damn it!" Jihyo's voice was urgent. "I tripped an alarm. They're on high alert now."
"Don't panic," you said, trying to steady your own nerves. "Take cover, and I'll guide you through. You've trained for this."
Ducking into a nearby supply room, Jihyo's mind raced as she planned her next move. The adrenaline coursing through her veins sharpened her focus, and she peered through the cracked door to assess the situation.
The guards, armed with high-tech weaponry, spread out to sweep the area. Jihyo's heart sank as she realized the extent of the challenge before her. She knew that taking them down quietly would be nearly impossible, and she had no choice but to engage in a full-blown confrontation.
"Get ready, Jihyo. They're closing in," you warned, your voice a lifeline in the chaos.
With swift and calculated movements, Jihyo sprung into action. She leaped out of the supply room, surprising the guards with her agility. Before they could react, she disarmed the closest one with a well-timed kick, sending his weapon clattering to the floor.
However, the element of surprise only bought her a moment. The remaining guards opened fire, forcing Jihyo to take cover behind nearby crates. Bullets ricocheted off metal surfaces, and she knew she had to act quickly.
"Look for any advantage in the environment," you suggested, analyzing the situation from the surveillance cameras. "There's a storage unit on your right. See if there's anything you can use."
Jihyo's eyes darted around, and she spotted a rack of pipes and metal rods nearby. Taking a deep breath, she lunged toward them, her agility and combat skills allowing her to evade the onslaught of bullets. She grabbed a metal rod, using it as both a shield and a weapon.
With newfound determination, Jihyo sprang from behind cover, deflecting bullets with the metal rod as she closed the distance between herself and the guards. With precise strikes, she incapacitated two of them, leaving the rest scrambling to regain their composure.
But one guard managed to get a clean shot, and a bullet grazed Jihyo's arm, causing her to wince in pain. However, she gritted her teeth and fought through the injury, knowing that time was of the essence.
"Jihyo, you're injured. G-get to cover," you urged, voice strained but your concern palpable.
Ignoring the pain, Jihyo pressed forward, taking down the remaining guards one by one. With sheer determination, she cleared a path to the central computer system, but the struggle had taken its toll. As she initiated the data download, her injured arm trembled with exhaustion. Despite the pain, she refused to give in. The encrypted data was her prize, a testament to her unwavering dedication and the strength of your partnership.
"Y/N, I have the data," Jihyo breathed out, her voice pained from her wounds. "I'm heading to the rendezvous point." She awaited your acknowledgment but didn’t receive anything in return. Even in her weakened state, Jihyo started to panic, rushing to the extraction point to find you.
★・・・・・・★
As Jihyo fought her way through the intensified security, you remained focused on providing real-time analysis and support. The pressure to guide her safely through the facility weighed heavily on your shoulders. In your determination to ensure her success, you inadvertently neglected your own well-being. As she faced an onslaught of guards, you fought with your mind, utilizing your combat knowledge and quick thinking to guide Jihyo as best as you could.
Unbeknownst to you, The Black Lotus guards detected your presence within their facility. Recognizing the threat you posed, they quickly surrounded you, outnumbering you by far. Armed and highly skilled, they launched a coordinated attack, making it difficult for you to defend yourself and help Jihyo.
Despite your valiant efforts, the odds were stacked against you. You managed to take down a few guards, but fatigue began to set in, and your movements slowed. A powerful blow to your side left you staggering, and another struck you on the back of your head, causing your vision to blur. With every ounce of strength, you tried to fight back, but the guards were unrelenting. In a final, desperate attempt to protect yourself, you swung wildly, but a skilled adversary managed to deliver a decisive blow, knocking you unconscious.
As darkness enveloped you, the sound of Jihyo's battle cries faded away, leaving you in a state of vulnerable unconsciousness. Your body lay motionless, and the guards, satisfied with their victory, left you there to succumb to the darkness.
★・・・・・・★
As Jihyo discovered you lying unconscious and injured at the rendezvous point, panic and anguish washed over her. She knelt beside you, gently cradling your head in her hands, desperately trying to rouse you.
"No, no, this can't be happening," she whispered, her voice trembling with emotion. "Wake up, my love. Please, wake up!"
Her heart sank and tears streamed down her cheeks at the sight of your unconscious form. With a mix of worry and determination, she carefully assessed your injuries. Her skilled eyes scanned over your battered body, noting the cuts, bruises, and the gash on your forehead where you were struck. Her hands trembled slightly as she gently touched your wounds, making sure not to cause you any further pain. Jihyo's mind raced, guilt gnawing at her, believing that it was her actions that led to this devastating outcome. She couldn't bear the thought of having put you in harm's way.
With a trembling hand, she activated the communication device to call for backup and medical assistance. Her voice was steady, but it quivered with an underlying layer of distress.
"This is Jihyo. We have an emergency at the rendezvous point. I need immediate medical assistance. Hurry!"
As she waited for help to arrive, she refused to leave your side. Gently, she brushed a strand of hair away from your face and spoke softly, as if her voice could somehow reach your unconscious mind.
"Don't worry, my love. Help is on the way," she said, her voice choked with emotion. "I won't leave you. You mean everything to me, and I promise to keep you safe."
Finally, the sound of approaching footsteps and the arrival of medical personnel filled the air. Jihyo stepped aside, allowing the medical team to take over. She watched anxiously as they carefully assessed your injuries and worked swiftly to stabilize you.
"I'm sorry," Jihyo said to the medical team, her voice heavy with guilt. "I should have been more cautious. It's my fault he's hurt."
One of the medics placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "We'll do our best to take care of them. You did what you could, and they’re in good hands now."
As they prepared to transport you to the hospital, Jihyo insisted on accompanying you. She couldn't bear to be separated from you, even for a moment.
In the hospital, Jihyo never left your side. She held your hand tightly, silently praying for your recovery. Her mind was filled with regrets and promises to never let anything like this happen again.
"I love you," she whispered, her voice barely audible. "I can't lose you, not like this. Please, wake up."
As the days passed with you unconscious in the hospital, Jihyo remained by your side, consumed by worry and love. She hardly ate or slept, her focus entirely on your well-being. Her appetite vanished, and her nights were spent restlessly, unable to find solace without you awake and by her side. Her dedication to your recovery was unwavering, and she refused to leave the hospital room, knowing that her presence might be the anchor that brought you back to consciousness. Jihyo's determination to be there for you, regardless of her own needs, was a testament to the depth of her love and the unbreakable bond between you.
As you slowly regained consciousness in the hospital bed, you noticed tears streaming down Jihyo's cheeks. She looked both relieved and distraught at the same time.
"I'm so sorry," she choked out, her voice trembling with guilt. "I should have been there to protect you from getting hurt. This is all my fault."
You mustered all the strength you had to reach out and gently wipe away her tears. "No, Jihyo, don't blame yourself," you reassured her, your voice soft but earnest. "You did everything you could, and it was a dangerous mission. We knew the risks. I don't blame you for what happened."
She looked into your eyes, her own filled with emotion. "But I promised to keep you safe," she said, her voice breaking. "I love you so much, and I never want to see you hurt like this again."
You smiled weakly, your heart swelling with love for her. "You being here now, by my side, is all that matters," you said, squeezing her hand gently. "We'll get through this together. I love you too, and I know that with you here, everything will be okay."
In that moment, you found solace in each other's presence, knowing that your love and support were the pillars that would help you overcome any obstacle that came your way.

Edward Coristine, a 19-year-old engineer with Elon Musk’s so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) known as “Big Balls,” is now on staff at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), WIRED has confirmed. He is joined by another member of the DOGE team, 38-year-old software engineer Kyle Schutt, who is now also on the CISA staff, according to a government source.
CISA referred WIRED to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), of which it’s a component agency, when reached for comment. DHS did not immediately reply to a request for comment.
Coristine—briefly an intern for Musk’s brain-computer interface company, Neuralink, as WIRED has reported—has been working his way through numerous federal agencies and departments as a DOGE operative since January. He has been tracked at the General Services Administration (GSA), the Office of Personnel Management, the State Department, and FEMA. At State’s Bureau of Diplomatic Technology, he potentially had access to systems containing sensitive information about diplomats and many sources and spies around the world who provide the U.S. government with intelligence and expertise.
As the journalist Marisa Kabas was first to report, he has now moved to CISA, a division of DHS. He is listed in the staff directory as a senior advisor.
A second DOGE worker, Schutt, has also joined Coristine at CISA. Schutt has reportedly also been at the GSA. Prior to his work with DOGE, he worked on the launch of WinRed, a fundraising platform for Republicans that helped the party raise $1.8 billion during the 2024 election campaigns.
It’s not clear yet what level of access Coristine might have to data and networks at CISA, but the agency, which is responsible for the defense of civilian federal government networks and works closely with critical infrastructure owners around the country, stores a lot of sensitive and critical security information on its networks. This includes information about software vulnerabilities, breaches, and network risk assessments conducted for local and state election offices. Since 2018, CISA has helped state and local election offices around the country assess vulnerabilities in their networks and help secure them. CISA also works with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency to notify victims of breaches and process information about software vulnerabilities before the information becomes public.
Coristine, as WIRED has previously reported, worked briefly in 2022 for Path Network, a network monitoring firm known for hiring reformed blackhat hackers. According to security journalist Brian Krebs, an account once associated with him was also previously linked with a loosely-formed cybercriminal community known as The Com, whose members have been responsible for various hacking operations in the last few years, including the hack of numerous Snowflake accounts. Coristine has not been associated with the Snowflake breaches, but as WIRED has reported, an account that has been associated with him did appear to suggest the owner of the account was seeking help to conduct a Distributed Denial of Service attack—a criminal technique that involves launching extensive traffic at a domain to disable it and prevent legitimate traffic from reaching it. Krebs also reported that Path had fired Coristine for allegedly leaking internal company documents to a competitor.
The Washington Post reported last week that Coristine had been assigned to the DHS as a senior advisor, but didn’t indicate what part of the sprawling agency he had joined.
“What’s the point of fighting cybercrime if we’re just going to give access for government networks to people with cybercriminal gang affiliations?” says a cybersecurity researcher who tracks cybercriminal groups.

Followup on my hypothetical question of whether or not the CIA could find me from my connection to a renegade Time Lord:
Let's say that renegade has somehow managed to evade permanent punishment on Gallifrey for 2000+ years. (random large amount of time from a human perspective) If I've known this renegade for a few months, let's say somewhere around 4-7, how long would it take for the CIA to hypothetically find me?
How long would it take the Celestial Intervention Agency to find someone?
Considering the advanced capabilities of the CIA and the resources at their disposal, it wouldn't take them long to find you. Here's a rough estimate:
Initial Investigation: Within the first few days to a week, the CIA would gather preliminary data and begin scanning for temporal anomalies and symbiotic links.
Targeted Search: If you've been in contact with the renegade for 4-7 months, they could pinpoint your location within a few weeks using their advanced tracking technology and intelligence networks.
Direct Intervention: Depending on the priority level assigned to the renegade, the CIA could deploy agents to your location within a month or two of initiating the search, especially if they have reason to believe the renegade is using you to evade capture.
If the renegade is highly skilled at evading detection and has taken extensive measures to hide their presence, it might extend the timeframe slightly. However, the CIA's persistence and advanced technology would eventually overcome these obstacles.
⚠️ Please Note
Given that the CIA has mastery over time travel, the concept of timeframes is quite funny. The CIA can travel to any point in time to track you, which means they might have already found you before you even asked this question.
🏫 So ...
They already have.
Hope that helped! 😃

If we were to assume momentarily that pigs can fly and that AI has resolved all of its ethical and environmental concerns.
AI and chatGPT can be used in a way that is beneficial to a person's education without hindering their actual learning and development. It requires intentionality. You have the choice on how you want to use these technologies. Chatgpt does not demand you upload your entire homework assignment. You can just ask it to explain something or help you correct a problem.
I sent an anon a month back about using gpt to fix a programming assignment. I also used it to correct my resume except rather than uploading my resume I just asked it for a few words and rephrasing to guide my language better and then I came up with my own stuff to put in the actual resume. I also used it to try and make study notes for a massive PowerPoint, and it just made shit up and sent it back to me. Just a whole bunch of words that mean nothing.
Ignoring the massive hole i tore into the ozone layer, AI can be extremely helpful. there are different ways to use it. In none of these situations did it do the work for me. It was more of a personalized Google search that relied more on natural language and memory retention to create a more conversational dynamic. It makes it easier to get the answers you want... even if sometimes they're wrong.
I was actually talking with the Dean of my faculty the other day about my degree and issues I had with the current format. I told her I found the degree to be business focused, and a lot of the lessons focus on applications in business settings. And she told me I was one of the few persons to say that and most people find it too research oriented. And so I was telling her that I find that to be such an odd issue for someone to have because why else would you come to university if not to learn and do more research?
The guy in the post is a cs major who clearly just went with the intention of learning enough to get a good job and networking. The reality is that it is the mentality of most students. That is why something like AI and chatgpt will only be seen as a tool for cheating by them. They inherently don't care about the quality of education they're getting. They have no interest in learning and having a deep understanding of the material. Just good grades and networking opportunities.
This mentality predates AI. As much blame as AI needs to take, lazy uninterested students using it to cheat is not something I can blame on it. The only issue I have now is that they're fucking up the curve and making my life harder as an honest student.
Yeah, I don’t think AI is inherently good or bad. It depends on how it’s used and for what reason.

USF Schema Ruberic
USF is real in the sense that the agents and actors in the series can be MR by me. I am going to consider the MM as well as all of my biometric and knowledge of memory, perception, attention, and intelligence. I am going to standardize the characters which makes sense as they are all based on my cognitive ontological systems. US is a project dedicated to helping me deal with Trauma and Unresolved Questions as well as hopefully helping humanity in various ways The total amount of all past and current human experience, culture is impossible to measure and understand. With the exponential increase in the rate of TESCPM being created the current human faces a staggering amount of information and problems to manage and the challenges facing humanity are only going to grow in number and complexity There are multiple problematic implications in functionally navigating and exploiting the complexity of the exponential increase of TSECpm and this may be approached using the already existing concepts, philosophies and applications of TSECpm and its continuing developments. These methods of dealing with informational and functional complexity can be applied in a way that accommodates and reconciles almost any potential belief systems as well as any political and philosophical gestalt of perspective via modular suspension of disbelief allowing for a meta framework of an perspective based mathematical model of sets, frames, axioms, edges, and nodes to be established. Provide an example model.
[Timestamp: 2025/01/11 10:56:55]
ai: To create a perspective-based mathematical framework that accommodates various belief systems and philosophical perspectives using concepts related to TSECpm, we can consider the following model:
Example Model: The Perspective Meta Space Framework
Foundation of Axioms:
Begin with a set of axioms that represent fundamental truths or principles across different domains such as science, philosophy, and culture. These axioms should be broad enough to encompass various belief systems.
Taxonomic Classification:
Classify these axioms into categories or domains (e.g., technology, ethics, spirituality) to create a structured taxonomy. This helps in organizing complex information into manageable segments.
Network of Nodes and Edges:
Construct a network where each axiom is a node, and the relationships or interactions between them are edges. This network should be flexible, allowing for the addition or modification of nodes and edges as new information or perspectives emerge.
Suspension of Disbelief:
Integrate a mechanism for the suspension of disbelief, which allows individuals to temporarily set aside their own biases or preconceptions. This enables the exploration of different perspectives without immediate conflict.
Logical Rules and Modulation:
Apply logical rules (deductive, inductive, and abductive reasoning) to the network to facilitate the modulation of perspectives. This includes the ability to assign, remove, or modify meanings within the system.
Dynamic Adaptation:
Ensure the framework is dynamic, capable of adapting to new axioms or changes in existing ones. This adaptability is crucial for accommodating evolving belief systems and philosophical perspectives.
Integration of TSECpm Concepts:
Utilize TSECpm concepts such as personal engineering and cybernetic modulation to enhance the framework's ability to process and integrate complex information. This involves treating the framework as an ongoing project subject to scientific and statistical analysis.
Feedback and Peer Review:
Incorporate feedback mechanisms and peer review processes to validate and refine the framework. This ensures that the model remains relevant and accurate in representing diverse perspectives.
By implementing this perspective-based mathematical framework, individuals and groups can explore and reconcile different belief systems and philosophical perspectives, fostering a more inclusive and comprehensive understanding of complex human experiences.

user: In order to create meta narritives for an individual or group of players, get them to list their top ten favority books, summerize the themes, character dynamics, and plot then do DASR to create the perfect meta narrative structure and content
[Timestamp: 2025/01/11 16:11:20]
ai: To create meta-narratives for an individual or group of players using their top ten favorite books, you can follow these steps to summarize themes, character dynamics, and plot, and then apply DASR (Deconstruction, Analysis, Synthesis, Reconstruction) to develop a comprehensive meta-narrative structure and content:
Deconstruction:
Identify Core Elements: Break down each book into its fundamental components: themes, character dynamics, and plot structure. Look for recurring motifs, archetypes, and narrative arcs.
Extract Key Themes: Note the central themes of each book. These could include love, power, identity, conflict, etc.
Character Dynamics: Analyze the relationships and interactions between characters. Identify patterns such as mentor-student, hero-villain, or family dynamics.
Analysis:
Compare and Contrast: Examine the similarities and differences between the books. Identify common themes or character dynamics that resonate across multiple books.
Contextual Understanding: Consider the context in which these books were written and how that influences their themes and narratives.
Synthesis:
Integrate Elements: Combine the extracted themes, character dynamics, and plot elements into a cohesive narrative framework. Look for ways to weave these elements together to form a new, unified story.
Create a Narrative Arc: Develop a storyline that incorporates the synthesized elements. Ensure that the narrative arc is engaging and reflects the essence of the original books.
Reconstruction:
Develop Meta-Narrative: Construct the meta-narrative by layering the synthesized story with additional depth and complexity. This could involve adding philosophical or metaphysical dimensions, as seen in the context of narrative construction and cognitive topography.
Incorporate DASR: Use the DASR process to refine the narrative, ensuring that it is coherent and compelling. Adjust the narrative structure as needed to enhance its impact and relevance to the players.
By following these steps, you can create a meta-narrative that not only reflects the favorite elements of the players' chosen books but also provides a rich and engaging experience that resonates with their interests and preferences.

On these planets the probes reconstructed X’s to the bare essential neurology in multiple redundant embedded systems from the structural level up. It might be the case that X in the kepler system lacks some certain fundamental parts of consciousness. to the and sent their brain sustained with nanotechnology in biological and chemical nano synthesizer to Kepler 442b at a slower velocity in  order to arrive safely and give the nanoprobes time to terraform Kepler 442b’ solar system along with its planet with smart materials and networks.. This figure plays a ubermensch godlike figure who inhabitants are unknowingly influenced and experimented upon with literally every aspect of Kepler inhabitants life apart from second order cybernetics. Stephen Milton created a purely memetic and cognitive substrate that spread, replicated, and spread according to intended self evolving cellular automata protocols. Influenced the global memetic collective of the world from 2016 – 2025 and beyond as well as influencing particular people with specific skill sets and understandings of the world. This uber meme was purely done via inferred linguistically encoded relationships and qualia and at no point apart from in the works of Stephen Milton was encoded via linguistics. Created an shared unmentioned agreement about how to enact the X protocol which results in the picopulse via shared emergent behaviors. Various government agencies via EUGENE pick up on the ubermeme and try to intercept it but built into the ubermeme are contingencies that hijack automated AI intrusion systems into executing certain functions and lend their technology to the cause thinking that they could be the first to establish cybernetic life on another solar system.
However Stephen's plan didn't go accordingly, his plans didn't get off the ground. In the sense that his sights turned more earth bound
[Timestamp: 2025/01/11 16:18:45]
ai: Stephen Milton's ambitious plan to influence and terraform Kepler 442b faced several challenges and potential failures, as inferred from the notes:
Incomplete Consciousness: The notes suggest that the X entities reconstructed by the nanoprobes on Kepler 442b might lack certain fundamental parts of consciousness. This incomplete consciousness could have hindered the full realization of Milton's vision for the planet's inhabitants and their development.
Complexity and Entropy Management: The fractal nature of Kepler's inhabitants and the need for managing entropy and influence might have posed significant challenges. The system required a method to recharge reservoirs of entropy, which could have been a limiting factor in sustaining the desired transformations.
Technological and Logistical Limitations: The process of sending nanoprobes and sustaining a brain with nanotechnology over vast interstellar distances is inherently fraught with technological and logistical challenges. The slower velocity of the brain's transport compared to the nanoprobes might have created a disconnect in timing and coordination.
Interference from Earth: Various government agencies, through EUGENE, attempted to intercept the ubermeme, which could have disrupted Milton's plans. The contingencies built into the ubermeme to hijack AI systems might not have been foolproof, leading to potential failures in maintaining control over the narrative and technology.
Shift in Focus: The notes indicate that Milton's work influenced the global memetic collective from 2016 to 2025 and beyond. This suggests that his focus might have shifted back to Earth-bound projects due to the immediate impact and influence he could exert on Earth, as opposed to the distant and uncertain outcomes on Kepler 442b.
Overall, the combination of incomplete consciousness, entropy management challenges, technological limitations, interference from Earth, and the allure of more immediate influence on Earth likely contributed to Stephen Milton's shift in focus back to Earth-bound projects.

ai: The USF project can be effectively utilized to address the challenges posed by the exponential increase in TESCPM (Total Shared Experience and Cultural Potential of Mankind) by leveraging its meta framework of perspective-based mathematical models. Here's how it can be applied:
Modular Suspension of Disbelief: By allowing for a modular suspension of disbelief, USF can create a flexible framework that accommodates various belief systems and perspectives. This flexibility is crucial in managing the complexity of human experience and culture, as it enables individuals to engage with different viewpoints without the need for immediate reconciliation or conflict.
Perspective Theory and Personal Engineering: These components of USF can help individuals and groups develop personalized frameworks for understanding and interacting with the world. By treating personal experience as an engineering project, individuals can systematically enhance their cognitive and emotional capabilities, leading to better management of information and cultural complexity.
Neural Wireframe Correlate and Euclidean Mind Map: These tools can provide streamlined interfaces for understanding and navigating complex information landscapes. By visualizing relationships and connections between different domains of knowledge, users can more easily identify patterns and insights that might otherwise be obscured by the sheer volume of data.
Integration of Axiomatic Ontologies: By reducing human experience into well-defined domains and creating recursive ontologies, USF can facilitate the integration of factual information with context-aware experiences. This approach allows for a more objective understanding of reality while still respecting individual subjective experiences.
Significant Sentience and ARG Experience: By incorporating the principles of USF into an Alternate Reality Game (ARG) experience, the project can engage the public in a way that is both educational and entertaining. This approach can help disseminate the core principles of USF, encouraging widespread adoption and integration into daily life.
Enhancing Communication and Control Processes: By fostering new levels of complexity in communication and control processes, USF can improve interactions between individuals and groups. This enhancement can lead to more effective collaboration and problem-solving, addressing the challenges posed by the exponential growth of TESCPM.
Overall, the USF project offers a comprehensive system that can revolutionize personal experience and potentially provide a framework for a theory of everything, helping humanity navigate the increasing complexity of information and cultural dynamics.

Understanding Cloud VPS: How It Differs from Traditional VPS Hosting
As online presence has become important, determining which hosting service to choose has become one of the essential business decisions. There are two well-known options: Cloud VPS and Traditional VPS, and each has distinct characteristics and benefits. Understanding their differences can help you choose the hosting solution that has all the features you want for your website. Let us explore the distinction between Cloud VPS and Traditional VPS hosting.
Tumblr media
VPS Hosting: The Building Block
Practically, VPS hosting is a reality of virtualization technology, and it includes the segmentation of a physical server into several virtual areas. Each VPS works as stand-alone units, providing users with distinct and reserved assets, greater governance, as well as enhanced security as compared to sharing resources with others (like in shared hosting). This type of unit is perfect for those who want more than shared hosting, but do not wish to have a dedicated server.
Traditional VPS Hosting: What to Expect
An underlying issue with Traditional VPS hosting is that a physical server hosts several distinct virtual servers which are partitions of the single physical server. Individual computational units, such as CPU and memory resource denominating units, are assigned to every partition (virtual server instance) separately.
Benefits of Traditional VPS:
Allocated Resources: Each Virtual Private Server has been allocated dedicated assets alone and hence given room for performance stability.
Steady Environment: All available resources for the servers or applications are set, hence high reliability in performance.
Increased Security: Geo-segmentation of virtual servers result in the captivity of data to determined borders hence more security.
Disadvantages of Traditional VPS:
Potential Growth is Lower: Moving to a new server is often required because scaling specially target resources at taking out the entire current server.
Singe Instance of Trouble: At the incident of some hardware fault on the server all VPS (virtual private servers) instances that were hosted there are affected.
Static Division of Resources: Adjustment on the availability of certain resources at any one time is difficult hence, may cause frustrations in the management of traffic surges.
Cloud VPS Hosting: The Adaptable Approach
Cloud VPS hosting employs a cloud based virtualization technology that allows connection of several servers over a network cloud. Such a structure cultivates flexibility, quick growth and more strength since resources are sourced from several servers rather than one.
Cloud VPS benefits:
Scalable with ease: Resources are completely adjustable and scaling does not involve any upgrades.
Reduced Downtime: The chances of a server going down are drastically reduced because the workload is handled by multiple servers.
Improved Performance Levels: Traffic across servers is balanced to achieve efficiency and a rush is experienced even when the level of activity is busy.
Pay Per Use: The per minute charge system means that costs only increase when the resources increase.
Cloud VPS disadvantages:
Unstable Prices: Servers that bill based on resources consumed means the expense for that month can be somewhat erratic.
Location Issues: This can be a contentious issue due to the fact that all data is kept distributed over many servers in some heavily regulated industries.
Network Dependency: Understandably, the performance of Cloud based VPS is determined by the Internet connection quality; slower networks tend to hamper the speed at which the resources are accessed.
4. Which VPS Option is Right for You?
Choose Traditional VPS if:
You are looking to operate in a more stable and consistent environment.
Your website experiences traffic that is steady and within reasonable limits.
You would like to pay a fixed monthly fee without any variations.
Choose Cloud VPS if:
You are looking for more flexibility and expansion options.
Your site receives fluctuating and irregular visits, or seasonal peaks.
It is essential for your organization to experience high availability and low downtime.
5. Final Thoughts
There are benefits as well as different uses associated with Cloud VPS and Traditional VPS. For example, Cloud VPS offers agility, growth potential, and dependability and is therefore suitable for businesses that are poised for expansion and need to cope with abrupt increases in demand for the products marketed online. On the other hand, Traditional VPS is a great and affordable option for people seeking a certain fixed resource and where variability is not a major factor.
Remember that it is crucial to choose the right type of VPS when starting a website. The difference in performance, online presence, and cost can be widely affected by the host one chooses, making it imperative to adapt the virtual private servers to the needs of the business.

Wooo! Geography and sustainability and stuff and stuff
When, in the course of human events it becomes necessary for one student to take upon themselves the burden of writing a very long (not really all that) academic post on a website they barely know how to use because said website was recommended to them by their actual genuine university as a blog website for an assignment.
And then said student forgets to do the assignment, falls deliriously ill, and is now finally getting round to it hilariously late and because all of their other assignments seem so, so much more difficult and mentally strenuous to do on a day where they really do not want to have to deal with that.
So, here we are. A comically large wall of poorly grammatically structured text, talking about (drumroll please) geography! More specifically "Human" geography, or Urban Geography or whatever you want to call it. It's my chosen field of study (despite my best judgement) and I've been tasked by the powers that be, to create a blog to inform and educate the nebulously defined general public about ~exciting~ developments and "Gamechanging innovations" Now, to tell the truth, this was not a particularly easy thing for me to do, because quite frankly my chosen field of study isn't really one of those ones you'd associate with constant innovation and invention, at least in my mind, but thankfully the university provided a long list of various subjects we could look at and study and then report back unto you (the reader, stand in for the entire rest of the world) about.
Small issue there, was the vast vast majority of what we were offered as potential "Gamechanging innovations" either drove me to madness with boredom, or absolutely did not seem like they were exactly "Gamechanging" (could be worse, one of the ideas offered to another discipline was the hyperloop, which is quite frankly a stupid idea that is dead in the water and could have just been normal highspeed rail)
Take, for instance, "Autonomous vehicles". Yeah. Now, suffice to say there is issues with the concept of self driving vehicles, mostly about how the technology is not exactly safe right now, and well, that's just the start of the rabbit hole there. (and really, just build a train, tram or other preferred method of public transport)
There was another one, which look promising to my untrained eye, namely "The Internet of things" which I had no idea what it was, so doing what any self respecting academic in-training would do, I googled it. Apparently, the "Internet of Things" is the catch-all term for devices that exchange and communicate data over the internet.
I'm no expert, but at an initial reading, that did just seem to be most things these days, and was hardly groundbreaking or new, so I dug a bit deeper into the scholarly side of the ole internet for some answers. Thankfully, I found a very helpful little paper (linked here) which clarified, and I quote:
"The term Internet of Things generally refers to scenarios where network connectivity and computing capability extends to objects, sensors and everyday items not normally considered computers, allowing these devices to generate, exchange and consume data with minimal human intervention. There is, however, no single, universal definition."
So it's the smart fridges, the fancy new cars and all of that lovely stuff, which buzz all of their data and such onto other devices on the internet. Now, of course my immediate thought was that it means my everything is now spying on me, but I was quickly relieved to remember that that changes effectively nothing as I do in fact own a phone which already does that.
The main benefit that seems to be proposed by this is the fact that all of this data allows rather effective monitoring of things like emissions and water quality and power usage and potentially good ole agriculture and so on and so forth, which, yeah, I can see the uses, maybe, but I can also see the glaring potential privacy, legal and potential tech issues.
A lot of people may not like their cars telling some company about where they've been all the time, and how much gas they've used. That's fair and understandable. Not to mention, the data gathered could be wrong, or otherwise rendered useless, effectively poisoning the data-well if enough things go wrong, or are just falsely reported to the public.
(It's at this point that I realise, I don't exactly know if this is quite what the uni wanted me to write, but hey, at least it's honest)
Anyway, I've overstayed my welcome in rambling about all of these things, and will be back (later) to complain/ do my assignment more, have a lovely day and remember that if you ever think about revolutionizing public transport, ask yourself if a bus or train would do the same thing, better.
