Killer x Y/N short story
One of the few short stories I will be writing. Requested by the wonderful @itsxroxannex as her honorable mention prize.
I do write commissions and short stories! Do you want a story? I can work with a small price (:
I'm using an image from Bing Image Creator to help the readers visualize where they are at and who they are talking to. It's for visual purposes only, and I do not claim it.
Enjoy the story!

The light from the sun bouncing off the rock hallways started to fade as the moon rose. The dripping from the ceiling had stopped, and monsters and humans started filling the tavern. It was supposed to be very busy tonight.
The tavern was underground, just below the surface life. Dartboards hung across the walls on various barrels. Small candles were lit beside them, either hanging from the ceiling or resting on uniquely carved tables. Carpets were strung across the floor, filled with old designs and symbols that the humans didn't understand, and the monsters refused to explain.
The bar itself looked like any other bar, but the counters were carved into the rocks and the drinks were stored within the earth. The tables were made from woven branches, and the chairs were also made from scattered parts of trees that were no longer needed elsewhere.
You weren't much for drinking. You had only come to the bar to talk with your friend, Shiro. Shiro ran the place during slow hours. Now that the night rush was coming, his co-workers came in to help him run the shift. He wouldn't have much time to talk anymore.
You started to pack your computer, flinging your bag over your shoulder. Shiro had told you of the many tales and tragedies that happen during the night rush, and you didn't want to stick around to become one of them.
"Leaving so soon?" Shiro asked as he wiped the table where you just sat. His baggy white hair fell over his face, and he smiled softly.
"You know how I am with crowds," you responded, hoping he would get the hint.
He didn't. "Well, surely it shouldn't be that busy tonight-"
He was cut off as three skeletons walked down the entrance stairs. It was apparent that they were some sort of gang, as they all wore the same-colored jacket, pants, and shoes. Each of them stood proudly as everyone went silent.
The tallest one had a large hole in his head, and his left eye was huge. It glowed red and barely made any movement when he looked around. He hunched over and had a large ax on his back. He never stopped smiling, which left an unhinged feeling in everyone who saw it.
The shortest one wore a hood over his head. His eyes glowed red, and one of them had a purple and blue tint to it. Unlike his tall counterpart, he never smiled. He glared at everyone who even dared to look at him. Monster ash covered his clothes, sparking fear in all who noticed.
The third one seemed the most normal of the group. His smile was contagious, and his extroverted personality always drew attention to him. Big black stripes dripped from his void eyes down to his neck. His coat was fluffier than the rest, and his soul wasn't hidden. It hung in front of his chest like a big red target. He twirled a knife in his hand before resting it by his side.
The Murder Time Trio, you recalled. You recognized each of their faces from wanted posters across the town. Working under Nightmare, they worked to harvest negativity.
The Star Sanses - rulers of this AU amongst many others - wanted to bring them to justice, but with all of the Sanses abilities to travel alternate universes, they were hard to track down.
You couldn't buy into the fact there were other worlds than your own. The only reason you believed it was the evidence before you; multiple versions of the same person taking different paths.
Shiro glanced over as the tavern filled with noise and music again. He rolled his eyes, grabbing a notepad and pen before walking over to the table they sat at.
The dart games began. Multiple people threw darts across the room to the targets. According to Shiro, this was how all the drama started. Someone would think a shot was unfair, and a fight would break out.
Deciding it wasn't the best idea to stay any longer, you weave through the crowd of monsters and humans trying to get to the bar to drink. You glanced at the table where the trio sat as they talked with Shiro. You pray they don't do anything to your friend.
As you stood between the dart targets, waiting for the round to be over, you eavesdrop on Shiro's conversation. He seemed bored, surprisingly.
"I'll have a margarita," the striped face one said.
"A big beer, please," Horror lowered his head.
"Think you can handle one of those again, Horror?" The striped face asked.
Horror didn't answer him. He waved his hand in dismissal to Shiro as he looked at the menu.
"I see," Shiro scribbled down the orders on his paper. "And for you, Dust?"
"Nothing," the hooded skeleton replied. "Someone has to be sober when Killer isn't."
"Hey, I would do just fine," Killer smirked. "I don't see you..."
The conversation faded out of hearing as shouts echoed across the tavern. Glancing behind you, you see a human and a monster arguing about who hit the target first as they shot their darts at the same time. The shouts almost frightened you, and you didn't think before stepping forward. Your goal was to get away from the chaos before more violence broke out. Maybe you shouldn't have come here, maybe it was a bad idea after all.
A dart flew towards your face.
You didn't have time to react before you were pulled off your feet, resting in the mercy of someone's arms as he caught the dart. "Woah darling, careful there," he sighed, his head turning toward the people who threw it.
You realize the man, or the skeleton that saved your head was Killer. His grip was firm around your waist from when he had pulled you away from the weapon. He dropped the dart and continued to glare at the monster that had thrown it.
The people playing the particular dart game went dead silent, all pointing to the person who threw the dart. He didn't seem to care. "Oh, come on, she walked in front of it! It's not my fault!"
"Pay attention to your surroundings more, mm?" Killer smirked, tilting his head. He turned towards you before the others could reply. "You too, cutie," he smirked, poking your nose. "Gotta be careful in places like these~"
His grip on your waist loosened as you backed up. A blush painted your face as you stared up at him. As your blush increased, so did his smile, making you blush more. The blood rushed to your face as you tried to cover your cheeks with your favorite-colored scarf.
"Do you seriously have to flirt with everyone you see, Killer?" Dust snapped, opening a deck of cards and flushing them across the table.
"Look at them, they're pretty!" Killer replied. "I didn't want them to get scratched by a silly dart!"
"Then they shouldn't be in a place like this," Horror rolled his eyes, glancing at the deck of cards Dust had started dealing.
Instant guilt washed over you. You didn't mean to cause any trouble, and Shiro was nowhere in sight to defend you. You gesture to Killer, thanking him for saving you before telling him you'll leave to not cause any more trouble.
Killer looked you up and down, smiling as his eyes made their way back to your face. "What's your name, Hun?" He smirks slyly.
You tell him your name, scratching your head in the process. One of the most wanted men in the multiverse was talking to you. In fact, he smiled when he looked at you. How could this be?
"Y/N, what a beautiful name," Killer takes a step closer to you, extending his hand. "You plan to get on out of here? I can make sure you get home safely."
You open your mouth to accept the offer but hesitate. He, along with his friends, were mass killers. It was obvious by the dust and blood across their clothes. Was he going to kill you? You had no idea.
If he was, then why would he go out of his way to pull you away from an incoming dart?
"Killer, you play or not?" Horror asked, interrupting your thoughts.
"Not now," Killer didn't take his eyes off you. "I wish to walk this lovely human home."
"Oh, can I come?" Horror smirked, his hand reaching for his ax.
Dust slapped his hand. "Not that kind of walk home," Dust rolled his eyes. "Look at him! His soul his turning into a heart! Pathetic, really."
Dust wasn't lying. Killer's soul had taken the form of an upside-down heart momentarily. You tilt your head in curiosity, surely that was a good sign.
"Hey!" The monster that had thrown the dart earlier shouted. "You broke my dart with your disgusting fingers!"
Killer raised his eyebrows as he shrugged. "Oops."
"That dart cost me hundreds of G!" He growled. "You're gonna pay for that!"
You felt Killer's hands run along your shoulders. "Time to go~" he whispered behind you.
As the monster tumbled near, he suddenly faded from sight. Everything vaporized into stripes as the underground tavern disappeared and was quickly replaced with the cool breeze of the surface.
The moon glimmered in the sky next to the stars as it shined down on the slightly paved street. There were no streetlights, but you could see the village in the distance. Fireflies glittered the sky along with the stars. There were a few trees and a river to cross, and the bridge over the river linked the road.
Tumblr media
"Whew, that was close," Killer chuckled, letting go of you. He walked over to your side and smirked down at you. "Don't worry, he won't catch us now."
"Thank you," you sighed with a smile before walking toward the village.
Killer started to follow you. "Hey, I know we like, just met, right? This is a little crazy," he glanced down at the ground as he caught up to you. His hands were shoved in his pockets, and he couldn't stop smiling. "But can I get your number?"
You widened your eyes, surprised. He really wanted your number after two minutes. Surely that couldn't be... This couldn't be happening, right? Wasn't that a red flag of some sort, and you, out of all people? You didn't see why someone as famous and as brave as him would pay attention-
You snapped back into reality, realizing that you had given him your phone, and he was already punching in his own number.
"Thanks, doll," Killer smiled to himself. "I didn't expect you to actually say yes. I'll fulfill my promise; let's get you home safely."
How the- you paused, unable to comprehend what just happened.
Despite the darkness and eerie noises surrounding you, you felt at peace. You couldn't help but wonder if that was because a skilled killer was by your side, ready to defend you if anything came your way. He made that clear with his actions at the tavern.
It didn't take long for Killer to start a conversation. He asked many questions and answered any questions you had. He often would laugh, smile, and tease you in such a way that made the butterflies in your stomach squirm. He was very charming, flirtatious, and unique. You couldn't recall if you met anyone like him.
And you liked that.
He was so different from everyone else that you had met, treated you well, and it was so easy to be yourself around him. He brought out a side of you that you thought died a long time ago. That side that made you feel... wild and free.
"Look look look," Killer begged, running off the path toward a lake. He picked up a rock and threw it across the water's surface. It must have skipped a hundred times before it plunged into the depths below. He picked up another one and did the same thing. "It's perfect water to skip the rocks on!"
You join his side and sit on a boulder nearby, watching him skip rocks as he continues to tell you about the first time won a card game, which you learned wasn't very often due to Dust having a special connection with cards.
"The look on his face when I won, hah! Priceless! Should've known better to have challenged me!"
You asked him if he had won the next two games after that.
"Uh, no, but that's not the point silly!" He smiled, heaving a great sigh as he looked up at the stars. He closed his eyes, letting the wind blow across his face as the ripples on the lake settled. The moon complimented his face and made him seem so peaceful and innocent. It highlighted his chest and showed the two small eyes that he had hidden within his skull.
You commented how he looks great in the moonlight. When he asked you how so, you got up and pointed out the various places the moonlight shined on him, and how it made him look so handsome.
"Tch, you're sweet," Killer snickered, brushing the hair out of your face. "But the moonlight on me is better on you."
Before you could recover from the sudden blush, he continued. "Have you ever skipped a stone across the water?"
As you shook your head, Killer frowned. He turned you around to face the lake and picked a stone up from the ground, admiring it in the moonlight. "Here, I'll teach you darling." He placed the stone in your hand and gestured that you try.
You tossed the rock into the water, it sunk in front of you.
"Heh, not like that." Killer came up from behind you and grabbed your wrists gently. "Here, let me guide you."
For the next thirty minutes, Killer moved your wrists in the correct motion. He gave tips on what to do with your fingers when you release the rock. You would have gotten it much sooner if you weren't so distracted by his sweet breath brushing against your cheek.
As you threw your hundredth stone, it skipped across the water more times than you can count. Joy filled your face, and your smile only increased when you heard Killer congratulate you.
"That was awesome!" He gleamed, running his hand along his skull. He quickly picked up a stone and skipped it across the water to catch up with yours. "Fast learner, eh?"
Before you could reply, Killer came up to you and embraced you. His hug was so snug, you felt safe in his arms. You wrap your arms around his back as the tension in your body flees. He was so warm, and he held you so tight... you didn't want to leave his arms.
Alas, it didn't last for long. Killer smiled and took your hand, guiding you up back to the path. "Alright, it's best I get you home, cutie," he smiled slyly. "The boys are probably wondering where I am."
You were closer to your home than you thought, to your dismay. Killer stood close to you, putting his hood over his skull to hide his face from the town as they turned down the street to your house. You almost had forgotten that he was a wanted killer with how enjoyable your time was with him. Surely, he wasn't all everyone said he was... he was so nice to you.
"Lovely house you have, I'll have to visit you sometime," Killer commented, smiling his usual charming smile as you approached the door. "Y/N, it was fun getting to know you, I'll call ya, alright? You're too pretty to say goodbye to, anyway."
You invited him to stay and watch a movie, but he declined.
"Nah, I'm sure Dust and Horror would be suspicious... besides, I cannot stay in the town for long unless I want Nightmare mad..." He took a few steps toward you until he was inches away from your face. He continued to smile as he took your hand. "However," he paused. He lifted your hand up to his face and kissed it gently. Once he met your eyes again, he smirked softly again. "I'm sure I could make an exception for you another night."
You didn't know how much more of his teasing you could take as your face turned red. You held your hand as if it was made of diamonds.
"Heh, you're so cute," Killer backed up into the street. "See ya later, Y/N."
You barely waved in time before he vanished from sight.
You couldn't stop thinking about him for the rest of the night. He treated you kindly, and his jokes were so funny... you longed for his company, despite his reputation. How long had it been since the tavern? A couple of hours? Were all monsters like this? Maybe there was a special thing about monsters where you grew attached quicker than another human. As if they understood the value of another living being and had a way to make another feel at ease around them. You tried to figure it out as you winded down for the night.
Maybe they were masters at this feeling that you felt: love.
Or maybe Killer was just special like that.

Alright hear me out.. Jonggun x a big deal member reader.. 🫣 like, both of us hating each other to guts, but somehow an odd feeling causes us to desire to spend time with each other etc while not even knowing the reason, and once gun feels close enough to us to inform us about his Yakuza clan and his whole shiro oni side, it turns out we were actually gun's childhood friend back then 🤭
Anon. You'll be the death of me. Apologies for the delayed response as usual! I started this today with a small idea. Came back to it tonight and 2k words later, it's now nearly 2am. I... I think I really like this. Let's sleep on it anyway. Hope it hits the spot and thanks for requesting!
Gun Park x Big Deal!Reader: Yamazaki Yuzuru
G/N. Enemies to lovers. (...Childhood friends turned enemies to lovers).
Tumblr media
Cynics would say you sold your body in a different way, although you hate to think about it like that. You suppose that it may seem so for someone on the outside looking in.
Big Deal is famous for its passion, its romance. You never thought it applied to you. Not like it did to others.
.
.
The first time you meet on Big Deal street, Gun studies you. Gaze hidden under his sunglasses, curiosity piqued as he wonders who you are.
A sea of gangsters but your face sticks out like a sore thumb. Familiar. Like a distant memory just out of reach, like trying to recall a dream.
Notices your scar-littered knuckles faded silver with time. Hardly unusual for gang members yet Gun still peers down at his own hands.
They're similar. Almost matching. A pair.
Ever watchful eyes burn into the side of your head.
When you turn in his direction, you know for certain he is only looking at you.
Age old scars start to itch. Absentmindedly, you scratch at your hands.
.
.
Gun asks for your name during your second meeting.
"Who are you?"
Jake Kim frowns, searches your face for a reason why he would be asking you. Why he would be taking an interest.
You give your boss an imperceptible shrug.
"None of your business," is all you offer. Clipped. Brusque. Not wanting to cause any more trouble for Big Deal by outright ignoring him.
What you mean to spit is fuck you.
What you mean to scream is I want to kill you with my bare hands.
You don't look at him today.
"Oh, this one is feisty," Goo Kim steps forward, duffle bag of cash in hand and eyes roving over you with approval.
Trouble still finds you.
Jaw clenching, hands scrunching into fists; Jake ready to defend his crew-
Gun beats him to the punch.
"Let's go. The money is all there."
His blonde associate throws him an odd look. Nevertheless, they still leave. You're not sure if you've ever seen anything better than their retreating backs.
Big Deal survives for another day.
.
.
Your luck runs out on your third meeting.
Gun finds you when you're miles from Big Deal and alone. When the rain drenches the earth and the air suffocates. When instead of water bringing life, it brings an omen.
This time you have no choice but to look at him, glaring into his pitch-black eyes. Fear eclipsed by loathing as he holds his umbrella over you, downpour providing a shroud and shielding the two of you from the world.
A strange game of silence starts, neither of you wanting to speak first.
Minutes tick by. The feeling of hatred is tiring to keep up. Holding onto the anger at the surface drains you. Infinitesimally your gaze starts to soften until Gun's curiosity is mirrored in yours.
To your surprise, he cracks first.
He tells you he recognises the vitriol in your voice from last time, no matter how much you thought you had successfully veiled it.
(A tiny smirk, almost fond, graces his features as he is reminded of your animosity.)
Offers you a chance, an escape line, a tantalising small glimmer of hope for Big Deal to leave the four crews.
Taking a drag on his cigarette, he proposes, "You can have your freedom if you can kill me."
Oh?
The odds are not in your favour. You agree anyway.
.
.
You manage to land a hit on his left arm, even as he turns and deflects most of the damage with a roll of his shoulder.
Had it been successful, it would have left it limp and hanging. Unfortunately, Gun only seem inconvenienced at best.
Your next attack manages to break the skin on his cheek. You miss your mark, wanting to gouge out his eyes instead.
Still, seeing the trickle of blood pleases you.
Gun Park takes no prisoners. Aims to incapacitate at the best of times, if not to maim or kill.
The thrill and adrenaline surges once he notices the cut. Feels the blood rushing to the surface and it already swelling.
He lunges after you, launching an open hand strike straight for your chest.
Throwing up both arms just in time, you manage to negate most of the intensity of his hit. Even still, you are flung to the other side of the street and hard into the ground.
Death would have been on the cards if not for your quick thinking.
When Gun sees the crimson falling from your lips, you spluttering and winded, choking on your own blood and body barely able to move-
All he can think about is how intriguing it is that you are still breathing. How peculiar that you managed to defend yourself, like you had foreseen his move. How mesmerising that particular shade of red.
Gun doesn't kill you today.
He tells you you have failed and leaves you to wallow in your own humiliation. You watch his figure growing smaller into the distance and find no joy in this retreat.
Blood and sweat mingles with the rain, cold seeps into your bones. When you think all hope is lost-
You catch a glimpse of maroon beneath your nails. Even as your body lies broken and beaten, you think of how you have managed to spill droplets of Gun Park's own blood.
It's a pleasant thought.
.
.
The fourth time he asks again for your name.
You wonder how he manages to find you once more during heavy showers.
As if he is only able to venture out during storms, like a worm awakened with the pitter patter of raindrops and slithering out of wet soil.
Fitting.
Amused both at this and the audacity of his question, you chuckle at his tenacity. The action causes you to wince. Body still recovering, a result of your fight from last time.
Gun takes a step forward and you flinch away immediately. Worsening your injury, grimacing and groaning as black spots appear in your vision.
"Stop," he orders and you are tempted to do it again just to defy him. "I'm not in the habit of repeating myself. I'll ask you for the final time, what is your name?"
In no fit state to fight, loss inevitable even if you were, you finally give it up.
You tell him through gritted teeth and a seed is planted in his mind.
"And you know mine."
"Gun Park."
He loves the fury in your voice. He wants to hear you say it again.
.
.
Gun slams you into a wall during the fifth time. Pins your arms above your head as you thrash against his hold.
Desperately trying to regain your footing, regain your strength as he has once again bested you.
He leans into your ear, voice taunting and infuriating. "Y/N." Relishes the way your name sounds, "You've failed again."
You whip your head around, ready to do something, anything. Bile in your throat and venom on the tip of your tongue-
His face is centimetres away from yours, breath hot and your skin prickles.
Own breath hitching as he drops his eyes to your lips. Desire and hunger plain on his face.
He doesn't lean forward and you wish he did.
He lets you go and you wish he didn't.
You hate yourself for it.
.
.
Sleep becomes difficult. You lie awake at night and think about him. Replay the scene in your head.
Your self hatred builds.
.
.
Thoughts of what-ifs tiptoe through your mind during the day. Conjures up scenarios of what if Gun Park actually did brush his lips against yours.
You hate yourself more than you hate him.
.
.
Like a self fulfilling prophecy, it happens during the sixth meeting.
All fight dissipates from you as your traitorous mind wanders and strays.
Gun Park catches your fist. He doesn't shove you away. Sees your pupils blown huge with lust and slams your body into his instead.
Your lips crash together, all teeth and snarls. It is both everything and nothing like you had imagined.
The umbrella lies forgotten on the ground as he rams you up against a wall in a forgotten alleyway.
Your legs wrap around his hips as he pushes into you.
.
.
Meetings end in a stalemate.
.
.
Meetings end in more sordid alleyways. A quick and dirty sprint to the finish line.
.
.
In backseats, cramped and rushed and hot. Leather sticking to sweat slick skin, windows fogging up with steam.
.
.
In hotel rooms and tangled sheets.
.
.
In walks of shame at 3am.
.
.
In showers, exploring each other's bodies.
.
.
In baths with your back against his chest.
.
.
In his bed and waking up together in the morning.
.
.
You don't act differently when Gun Park and Goo Kim come to collect their dues.
But the bruises left by his fingers under your Big Deal uniform pulses and throbs.
You still hate yourself but you hate Gun less.
Seeing him reminds you of the way he moans your name. The additional scars you've scratched into his back. The way his hips rock against yours.
(When it's just you two, you can't bring yourself to hate him at all.)
You stay still and silent as Goo counts the bills.
Under his sunglasses, Gun always observes you.
.
.
"Where did you get these scars?"
Gun traces over your knuckles. Touch gentle and tentative. A far cry from your first contact.
Truthfully you can hardly even remember. It was another life. In the land of the rising sun, when you saw the world through childhood innocence.
You piece together what you can.
"I used to spar when I was younger. With another boy that was on my street..."
Eyes affecting a far off look, reliving what you can of your memory.
Snapshots of a small stature, below average for his age but lightning fast reflexes and a terrifying strength.
You were never a match for him. Not really. But he still insisted on seeing you everyday.
Training together. Developing a language of your own through punches and kicks.
Above all, you fought. But that small quiet boy, who talked infrequently, whose bite was just as bad as his bark gave you the first taste of something real.
"You lost more than you won." Gun's voice cuts through. You thought they were teasing words but- "Cried when he beat you and he would bribe you to shut up. Spent three summers together getting stronger until he had to leave."
Gun holds his own scarred hand up.
You remember the scar the boy got when you kicked him into the ground, how you bandaged it afterwards. Unravelling as soon as you wrapped it, handiwork sloppy and inexperienced.
The scars when you both would practice your punches, strengthening tendons wherever you could. On whatever surfaces available.
And one scar in particular: when you bit down hard on his hand after a particularly gruelling fight and refused to give him the victory.
How have you missed this? How has the string of fate managed to stretch across land and oceans and borders and years?
The fog lifts and the name slams into your mind.
"Yuzuru."
Gun kisses you, hand cupping the back of your head and other curling around your waist. Whispers your own name against your lips. The one you were born with. The one he used to call you.
A name you haven't heard in years, but he never forgot.
"Say my name again." His voice is rough, choked.
"Yamazaki Yuzuru."
He kisses you more fiercely than ever before.
The first meeting wasn’t on Big Deal street. It wasn't even in South Korea.
.
.
You didn't sell your body.
The Big Deal passion and romance flares within you. It just always belonged to someone else.

Infinity Masterlist
year 1102 AD
GOJO SHIRO was at the tender age of twelve when he regained his past life's memories, and with a sudden burst of excitement he realized that he was indeed living a new life as a reincarnation of his former self. With such news, he immediately set off with such knowledge and past experiences. He knew things as such a young age that baffled many adults. Which was to no surprise to the young Gojo. Though, truthfully, he had no intention of revealing how he had such vast knowledge and instead would give the simple answer of "I like to study when I'm not training." Which was believable to most adults with in the Gojo clan because they would take notice how the young future head of the clan would wander straight towards the clan's sacred library.
Little did they know, however, was that he was actually researching the l/n clan and trying to see if y/n even existed in this time period. And, much to his dismay, he would find that after his first death the l/n clan would have fallen from grace. (Which was very much deserved, mind you.) But now he had no way of finding her, of find y/n, or knowing if was even born yet or even if she would have the last name l/n or the first name y/n.
Because look at Gojo.
Sure, he still has the six eyes. His powerful cursed techniques that he will be expected to hone as he ages. Yet he has a different first name. So the same could be expected of y/n if she got reincarnated as well. But he knew that once he saw her, he would know that it was her. Without a doubt. Mainly because he wholeheartedly believed that when one is reincarnated, their personality stays the same. Their soul never changes. I mean, the only thing about him that changed was his first name for goodness sake! So the same could easily be said about his y/n. Easily.
However ...
"Oh! How frustrating!"
It was still very frustrating.
He slammed the book shut and pushed it aside. His gaze settling onto the nearest wall.
It was clear to him that searching through books on whereabouts of the l/n clan were no longer going to work. If he wanted to find his cute little maid, then he was going to have to leave the Gojo Estate. Simple, right? So, that was exactly what he set out to do. And much to his surprise, no one really stopped him. Probably because he was already at such a high position within the clan as the next head and all.
And thats how he found himself wandering the streets. Many people bustled around him but didn't dare to step in his path for it was easily known as to who he was and how much power he had.
Well, that was until he felt a small tug on his sleeve.
Rolling his eyes, he couldn't believe someone had the audacity to bother him, especially considering how he was busy looking for y/n. Not that whoever was pulling at him to get his attention needed to know that.
"What."
Though the moment that the word left his mouth, his whole body froze up when he had turned to look at the person who was bothering him. His brillant blue eyes fixated on the slightly smaller girl before him.
She looked exactly the same as before.
"Uhm- i- i- I'm so sorry, Lord Gojo! But- but you- i-," she stuttered over her words like a fool. She shut her eyes as she tried to find the right words she wanted to say, "its just.. us kids were going to play a game and- and we were wondering if you want to play with us. We- we know you probably have better things to do.. but but we j- just .. just wanted to be friends since- since w-we saw you pass by and and we never see you out from the estate walls, so..."
She blabbered on. To anyone else, they may have tried to cut her off or shut her up. But to Gojo? He was on cloud nine. In his past life, he only got to see her when she was a teenager, and that was only for a year before her life was taken from him. But now? Now he has a chance to get to know her as a child. They can grow up together, learn about each other at the same pace without someone threatening them. It made a smile stretching across his lips.
"Sure," he said suddenly, "I'll come play with you all. But...only on one condition."
She brightened at first when he agreed to come play but instantly deflated at the condition. He wasn't going to ask for money was he?! Her dirt smudged face and tattered clothes were proof enough of her wealth. So, she really did hope he didn't ask for anything too grand.
"Mmhmm, want to hear the condition?"
She shakily nodded and he basked in her shyness and fear. He found it was really fun to tease her! And he planned on teasing her a lot in the near future.
Booping her on the nose with an index finger, he grinned, "well, its actually two conditions. But don't worry, its within your power to fulfill them easily."
Rubbing her nose, she silently urged him to continue.
"First, I want you to call me Shiro. No more of that lame Lord Gojo crap. And second .. what's your name? You want me to come play with you, but don't offer an introduction? Honestly, I'm hurt."
He faked a pout while laying a hand on his chest. His heart beating rapidly against his palm and he silently hoped she wasn't able to hear it.
She bowed suddenly, "r- right! I'm s- sorry Lord- uhm- I mean! I'm sorry Shiro!"
She straightened back up as a blush coated her (color) cheeks. Her hand shakily jutting out as her feet moved from side to side in a nervous manner.
"I'm y/n and- and I was wondering if you like to come and play with me and my friends.."
His heart did a backflip and he internally swooned. So cute!
He immediately snatched her hand into his own despite her hand being slightly dirty than his clean, pristine one.
"I would love to!"

Aizawa x student!reader - more to this
Tumblr media
Part 2:
The students all sat down, and you turned back to Shiro while Aizawa was speaking to them.
Shiro leant against the counter, giving you a disapproving look.
“Aren’t you interested in meeting your fellow classmates?”
“I mean is it really relevant? I’ll only be studying here to control my quirk, I can’t really have friends can I?”
He chuckled a little bit, patting your head a few times before he went back to cooking your dinner for you.
“You’re a teenager, you can have friends if you want them. Plus it’ll be good to be friends with the next generation of heroes, I’ll improve you status as the years go on.”
“I don’t want to use people like that…”
“No (Y/N) you’re not understanding. You’re not using them, it’s just going to be a perk to knowing them. You being friends is more just you getting to live a normal life.”
Furrowing your brows a little at him, you seemed just as confused.
“You’ve spent most of your time back home isolated from the rest of the world, only really interesting with other royal families when there was a need, then when you started your royal duties you didn’t have time for that. Go have fun, play games, that sort of thing stuff, just be mindful the media will still be watching your every move.”
“Oh right, that makes more sense.”
Reaching into the pocket of his jacket you took a candy bar, turning back to the students.
Shiro turned around, taking the candy bar from you.
“No.”
You frowned a little, but you waved as they all looked over at you.
“It’s nice to meet you!” The beamed.
“Thank you, it’s nice to meet you all as well. I can’t stay long, I’ll meet you all properly on Monday.”
Turning around, you took your bowl from Shiro, happily running back to your room while he cleaned up.
You weekend was spent sorting out your room and doing some final paper work, you had a uniform for your training sessions, but since you weren’t aiming to be a hero you didn’t get a hero costume.
You also hadn’t been given an official school uniform, since the only classes you would really be attending were the training sessions, you had no need for the theory classes, but you could attend them if you wanted too.
When Monday came around, you dressed in your normal clothes.
Shiro looked at you as you came out and he sighed.
“Come here kiddo.”
You padded over and he adjusted your jacket, brushing it down, getting out the creases for you.
“They were all hung up, how did you get them so messy?”
“I dropped them a few times.” You grinned.
He chuckled a little bit, shaking his head at you, Arthur came up holding your bag in his shoulder.
“Everybody has gone to their classes, we’ve been asked to come meet some of the other teachers.”
“Oh right, I forgot about that. Are we late?”
“No, there was no timing, just when we got there to head to the staff room.”
You nodded your head, leading the way with the pair of them following you.
Making your way up to the school, you made your way through the hallways, following the directions that you were given.
Standing in front of the door, you knocked and clasped your hands in front of you, waiting for somebody to open it.
When it was opened you stood in front of your home room teacher.
“Right, come in.”
He stepped aside, letting the three of you walked in.
The teachers that were in there looked up and stopped what they were doing.
Aizawa quickly introduced them to you.
“Good morning, I’m (Y/N) (L/N), thank you for allowing me to train my quirk at your school.”
You offered them all a bow, then stood up, gesturing to the two behind you.
“These are Shiro and Arthur, my personal assistants and body guards.”
The two did the same thing.
“Oh you’re so adorable!” Midnight gushed.
She went to rush forward, but was stopped by Shiro and Arthur who raised the swords in front of you.
Quickly she stepped back, giving a nervous smile, and you gestured for them to put their weapons down.
“They’re serious.”
“You have to understand it’s for my own protection. As the young heir to a royal family I’d easily be a target for anybody looking for power or money. You may be heroes but they take their jobs seriously.”
Midnight nodded her head in understanding.
“It’s admirable.” She smiled.
“Yes, and I’m sure you’ll find this school suitable for training your quirk to the extent you need.” Cementoss said.
You nodded your head, giving them all a bright smile.
“I hope so! I’m not sure how training a quirk works, I’ve never really had to think about it, for the most part my quirk was always easy to control, but it’s law of our country that the heir has to be fully trained before taking the spot.”
“You’ll observe how it’s done with 1-A, then tomorrow you’ll take part. Let’s go.” Aizawa said.
You happily nodded and followed behind him, your hands clasped behind you as you walked.
You briefly stopped at the locker rooms so you could lock your bag in a locker before carrying on to the training grounds.
There was an observation room where you were taken.
“That’s All Might and Recovery Girl.”
Aizawa left after that, and you walked over to the screen, looking at the students who were training for their teacher to return.
“Are you a new student?” All Might asked.
“This is (Y/N). I’m Shiro, that’s Arthur.” Shiro spoke.
“Oh, the young royal I remember now, sorry. How are you finding it here?” He asked.
You looked up at him, smiling.
“I enjoy it, it’s very different to my normal routine. It must be exciting to train the new heroes.”
“It’s definitely rewarding, and I see a lot of promising quirks, and I’ve heard yours is quite interesting as well, I hope to see it in action one day.” He smiled.
You pointed to the two men sitting down next to you.
“You are. These guys are ghosts, but they’ve been on earth a lot longer than others I’ve summoned, so their spiritual bodies have gotten stronger, they’re able to do anything a normal person could.”
“Amazing, and this doesn’t exhaust your quirk?”
“No sir, my quirk is what brings them forth and gets rid of them. I’m not really creating anything, I’m just summoning from the beyond. So, if I summon a bad one, I can send them back straight away.”
“Good and bad spirits?”
“Well, yeah. Just like we’ve got good and bad people their spirits become good or bad. I can only summon spirits of warriors though, nobody else.”
He nodded his head in understanding and you turned back to the screen, watching as the students trained, studying what they’d do.
It was mostly just pushing their quirks past their limits, trying to get used to it.
“I want to do that.” You said.
All Might chuckled a little bit.
“Come along the, I’ll escort you there.”
You cheered, getting up to run after him, stumbling over your own two feet, and Arthur caught you while laughing.
“Stumbling isn’t very regal of you your highness.” He mocked.
“Shut up or I’ll make you go away.”
“You wouldn’t.” He grinned.
“Shiro!” You whined.
Shiro sighed, walking over and he stepped between the pair of you, mumbling about being children.
You were led outside by All Might, and he led you over to Aizawa who turned to look at you.
“You shouldn’t be out here.”
“Please! I want to do what they’re doing!”
“It’s not very regal like to beg either.”
You spun around, pointing at Arthur.
“Time out!”
He vanished and you turned back around, grinning at your teacher.
“Please sir! I swear I’ll be good and follow all the rules!”
“No.”
“Why?!”
“Because you’re not in uniform and I said no.”
You frowned, then slightly grinned a little bit.
Holding your hand out, your eyes turned black as you summoned a few spirits, then you turned to Aizawa.
“See! I can train my quirk too!”
You let the spirits go, and released your quirk, and you bounced on the balls of your feet.
“No. Go back to the observation room.”
You sighed heavily, nodding your head.
You walked back inside and looked to Shiro.
“I want to go to my room, I have some paper work to do.”
“Are you sulking because you got told to go away?”
“No…”
He chuckled a little bit.
“Can Arthur come out of his time out?”
“Yeah…”
Arthur was immediately back, holding your bag and he placed his hand on your head.
“Come on kid, lighten up.”
You huffed, storming away.
Heading back to the dorms you went back to your room, sitting at your desk as you went through some papers.
You set the unimportant ones aside, trying to focus on getting on getting the more important ones sighed off first.
“Shiro why do I have papers for reconstruction?”
“Oh, let me have a look.”
You handed them over, letting him read them as you went to sealing all the others, handing them to Arthur so he could deliver them back home.
Shiro walked back over, setting the papers down in your desk.
There was a knock on your door, and you called from whoever it was to come in, and watched as your home room teacher walked through.
“They’re asking for permission to fix the broken wing of the castle.”
You snapped your gaze to Shiro.
“Tell them to stop asking.”
“Of course.”
He took the papers and vanished, and you turned to Aizawa, smiling at him.
“Hi sir.”
“Where did he go?”
“Oh, as a ghost they can move between the spaces of different places, as long as they’ve been there before anyway, so they’ve gone back home to deliver some papers for me.”
He nodded his head, and you stood up.
“Let’s go.”
“Okay.”
You trailed after him, making your way outside and he turned around to face you.
“How many spirits can you summon?”
“Uh, I think the limit right now is at ten. Technically less if you count the fact Shiro and Arthur are ghosts. The more I summon the weaker they are, the less the stronger.”
“That’s why you only keep two?”
“Yes sir, it allows them to be at their strongest, but even with other ghosts because they’ve been around the longest they’re still stronger then others, since they’ve spent more time in the living realm.”
“First we’ll have to test your physical strength, then see the true limitations of your quirk before we can come up with an action plan.”
You nodded your head in excitement, happily agreeing to this because it meant you could finally start training your quirk.
“Go get your gym uniform on.”
“Yes sir!”
You quickly ran away and he sighed heavily, standing there idly as he waited for you to come back.
Training the next generation of heroes was exhausting enough, now he had to train you on a whole different schedule

Here it is, hope you like it Anon 😊
𝐆𝐮𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐦𝐮𝐭
— Gun Park x Female Reader
Tumblr media
ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢꜱ : Gun H, R, T Smut Headcanons.
ɴᴏᴛᴇ ꜰʀᴏᴍ ʟᴏᴛᴜꜱ : Sorry for being late. Was really stressed with school and shit. This is a part of this game and you can read the other works here. Enjoy ♡
Tumblr media
H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)
He is well groomed and shaved. He uses expensive shaving creams and luxurious razos to shave. He would shave whether he has a partner or not.
Gun does grow hair on his chest. A lot. But even there he likes to shave thrice a week. So, yeah. Gun is pretty groomed.
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)
I would not say that he likes to take any risk. He just does not give two shits about anyone walking in on you two. He is Gun Park, The Shiro Oni. He can always break a few bones and get away with it.
For experiments however Gun does mind if you want to spice up your sex life even more. He can always consider your ideas.
T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)
Honestly? Gun does not have any toys. He always prefers the original thing. If he wants to get laid, he can always visit a brothel or club and girls would hanging swooning over him. If he has a partner. He would always fuck you.
Do you have toys and what he thinks about that? Gun is not really pleased. He thinks he himself is enough for you. So, when he got home after a long day and found you on the bed, naked, getting off of a vibrator, he was shocked. Was he not enough for you? He doubted for a micro second.
But after that he made sure to fuck you till you are in so shape or state of walking for the next few days. After all a plastic machine can't compare to him.

Nagi x Reader Manager AU: Setting the Scene
A continuation of this
Long story short, you and Nagi are childhood besties with polar opposite approaches to life but you moved away right before highschool
Nagi got you into video games so you guys co-op a lot online. Initially, you thought gaming was a waste of time but Nagi doesn't show interest in much so you couldn't help but relent
You quickly caught on with him (yay efficiency) and you guys barely need to communicate when gaming so they've started doubling as gossip sessions lol
Nagi is very much a physical touch person so he loved to be draped over you like a giant throw whenever you go over to his place
When you moved away, you mostly kept in touch through gaming since it's, in Nagi's words, "too much of a hassle to take the train" and you think it's more efficient to chat while gaming (two birds in one stone)
Y'all miss each other A LOT but you guys are probably emotionally obtuse in different fonts lol
Nagi definitely tries to get you to visit him in person (this is him dropping hints that he misses you) but you keep on saying that it's not efficient 💀💀💀
Side note, your nickname for him is "Shiro-kun"
Your gaming handle probably matches with his lmao and since you guys have such unparalleled gaming chemistry, you're like notorious in the gaming community
His username is probably something stupid like wh1tecactus cuz he's too lazy to think harder (since you've decided to match him, yours would be something like equally silly like darkcactus or blacksucculent 💀💀💀) I miss being a cringe teen with an equally cringe username lmao
You have tried, keyword tried, to change it but Nagi literally put his entire weight on you whenever you did
Now it's too late cuz you're both low-key famous online for steamrolling over your competition lmaoo
When he started football, you were shocked because wtf?? Lazyboy found something worth physical effort?? You wished you were there to witness it in person
Reo doesn't know about you at all since Nagi never bothered mentioning you and you arrange your calls around both your schedules

Life Update <3
It's quite long under here, so please be prepared ;)
Some updates of my life, for those who are interested :)
I was sent to the ER a few days ago due to unusual nose bleeds 0.o
I Got accepted into Chico! :)))
For game development!!! :DDDDD
Regarding the fan games I've developed/developing...
GAMES
As of 3/30/23, this is the status of the following games.
Tokyo After School Special - [PAUSED]
I'm very sorry to say that this project is still in development. I have yet to improve my drawing skills that I believe would fit this game. Since I am going to school for game development, this will help me craft this project into something I can proudly present to all of you! Thank you for your patience!
Present Danger - [COMPLETED. WILL UPDATE EVENTUALLY]
This game was honestly rushed, and I can do better. While I have utilized some of my skills to create some of the assets, this game is still rough around the edges (not to mention the frame rate, yikes...)
Since it was a small project, improving it will be on the lower list of priority.
Shiro and the Missing Pages - [IN DEVELOPMENT]
The title is a wip.
I got another idea for a fan game :')
I won't reveal much about it until I am ready to release it as a demo
so who knows how long that will take :/
All I will reveal is that it stars our beloved self-cock-blocking nerd, Shiro Motoori looking for his missing pages while chatting it up with the other eldritch classmates.
HOUSAMO X TOUHOU FANGAME - [PAUSED]
In case you followed my twitter, this game was in development before any of the other fangames. Bullet Hells are pretty hard to develop, and I honestly didn't have any idea for the story at the time. While stirring my creative juices, I have eventually came up with a few ideas that will help me get this game flowing. As stated before, I will refrain from revealing anything from this game until I am able to release a demo first. All I will say is that it takes place during "Ueno's Fluffy Dream Kingdom".
FANFICS
I use fanfic submissions to help me with my creative writting. I feel I get better with every fanfic posted, but I would love to hear feedback! Currently, I accept any type of fanfic requests, i.e. Character x reader, character x character, scenarios, etc.
Due to my inexperience with writing fanfics, I've decided to implement a type of "Story Length" upon requests. Basically, when asking for a fanfic of anything, I will ask a Length:
SCENARIO - Bullet points describing the event. Great if you let your imagination do the work!
EXAMPLE:
🦬Wakan likes the smell of flowers during spring
🦬He'll take you on dates on the cafe
🦬He'll order the strawberry parfait and let you try some.
DRABBLE - 100 words or less. Great for on the go reading!
FLASH FIC - 500 words or less. Good for a tiny story!
FICLET - 1000 words or less. Great If you got time to read!
FANFIC - About 5000ish. Wonderful if you want to kill some time!
I will try to strive for the agreed story length. Additionally, if you request to be anonymous, I will respect your wishes and not mention you.
Here are the status of the current fics:
MC2 [FEMC] X Tsathoggua - [IN PROGRESS]
Requested by @veryturtlecol. A continuation of Tsathoggua's date quest. NSFW
MC2 [FEMC] X Gyobu- [IN PROGRESS]
Requested by @veryturtlecol. A tender moment with our favorite tanuki. NSFW

Introduction!
Hello Tumblr Anime Community!
My name is Jojo (she/they) and I am in fact a minor. I’ve been watching anime for almost 6 years now and am involved in many fandoms.   IRL I am a full-time student who majors in Engineering. I have 2 cats and really love sleeping and eating anything that can crave my sweet tooth.
(My account will be a sfw blog, but if you are a nsfw blog and would like to interact, please message me if you have a specific tag that you keep your nsfw content under so I can blacklist it. I currently have the “nsfw” tag blacklisted.)
I've been writing for about 5+ years and actually have several anime Instagram accounts where I share my work, but I’d prefer to keep those hidden due to my bashfulness when it comes to my writing.
A few of the many fandoms I am involved in are:
HunterxHunter
Fairy Tail
Angel Beats
Another
No Game No Life
Death Note
Bungou Stray Dogs
Seven Deadly Sins
DemonSlayer
+ more!
Now, while I may not write for all of the anime listed above (I will create another post for rules in a bit), I most definitely encourage you to shoot me a message so we can chit chat about it.
A few of the many anime characters I am interested in are:
Feitan Portor (HxH)

As I said previously regarding anime, I may not write for all of these characters, but I certainly would love to speak to you all of them, so shoot me a message anytime.
Please feel free to message me darlings! I actually don’t know anyone in any of the fandoms I’m involved in so companionship would be pleasant.
Keep an eye out for my rules post so you can start requesting!
Have a great day/afternoon/night!

Small Surpises— Big Brother Shiro x Little Sister Reader
Tumblr media
Summary:
You are Shiro's younger sister waiting on him to return from a mission while you reminisce about your life with your big brother which then gets interrupted when he brings you back an unexpected surprise...
Word Count: ~2K
Childhood memories | Brotherly Love
Requested by: @white_skittle on Wattpad
{Your POV}
Honestly, you had never really thought that it would be so boring to be in a half-castle half-spaceship until you were actually in one. It sounds crazy to even think you'd be in one let alone that one exists! One moment you were on earth with Keith trying to figure out these weird radio signals and then the next your brother who'd been missing for a year had crash landed onto earth in an alien pod! And just when you didn't think anything could get any crazier, you found a giant blue lion that whisked you all away into space! That was just the beginning of all the adventures you'd have traveling the universe with your new found family. But as of now, the only thing you could do is wait around the Castle of Lions until the Paladins are back from their mission. To keep your mind off of your boredom and anxiety you tried your best to distract yourself with useless things like wondering the castle and getting lost in your own thoughts.
You were significantly younger than your brother, Shiro. While he was 25, you were only a teenager. You two were always rather close despite your age difference. Shiro was always so cool, you and all of your friends thought he was the most amazing person in the whole world. And if you were being honest with yourself, he still was. I mean, being the paladin of the Black Lion and the leader of Voltron was the coolest thing you could think of! As kids you and Shiro loved playing together, you would play with his soldiers and planes or he'd play dolls with you. You two would spend hours playing little games like hide and seek or just playing pretend.
You would be the princess and Shiro would always be the courageous knight there to protect and save you from evil villains and mystical dragons. Using sticks and pool noodles as swords he would slay any foes that even dared to hurt his little sister. Shiro has always been your hero in more ways than you'd ever realize.
"Fear not, Princess (Y/N)!" He would cry, holding his makeshift sword in the air. "I will slay this dragon to protect you and your kingdom from his evil!" He would then jab at one of your stuffed animals or sometimes even trees, pretending they were the villain.
As you got older, you two were still super close. Shiro was then entering his teens, going to the Galaxy Garrison to be a pilot. He was so smart and so talented and all you ever wanted to do was impress him. When you didn't think he could get any cooler he always did. But even though he was at the Garrison, he still had never let you down. You have many memories of Shiro picking you up after school and taking you out to your favorite diner. Sitting in a booth across from each other he would ask you about your day while drinking a milkshake in his bright orange Cadet uniform.
"You look silly in your uniform, Takashi." Little you giggled in your memory. You could still see Shiro's face as he pulled away from his Oreo milkshake's straw, as well as the smile that formed on his face as he let out a small chuckle.
"I guess I do look kind of silly, huh?" He agreed, setting down his milkshake softly.
These couple times a week visits made it feel like Shiro had never really left at all. Soon you were able to transfer into the Garrison Cadet program and next thing you remember is staying up late into the night studying with Shiro and practicing your techniques. Shiro was the star of the Garrison and he still remained the star of your life. Sure you had made many friends, but Shiro was still your best friend above all else. You still remember when Shiro had introduced you to Keith and how you two got off to a rocky start. But eventually, it didn't feel like it was just you and Shiro against the world anymore. Soon you had a new honorary brother in Keith. You would all ride around together on Hoverbikes and Landspeeders and you even would take Keith for milkshakes at your diner.
"Hah!" You beamed triumphantly as you swung to a halt on your hoverbike. You looked behind you now as your brother came up to a stop behind you. You laughed triumphantly as you had just beaten Shiro to your designated finish line. "I told you I could beat you!"
"I never doubted you for a second." Shiro told you proudly as he whipped the sweat from his forehead.
You looked now on the other side of you over the edge of the large cliff next to you. "So can I learn the dive now?" You blurted out quickly.
Shiro laughed warmly, "Absolutely not." He said quickly and gave you a teasing smile. "Not until I'm sure you and Keith are both ready." He explained, watching you pout in amusement.
As you were entering your teenage years and Shiro was leaving his, you two had somehow managed to grow even closer. He had come out to you over the course of your time at the Garrison. You still remember him gushing to you all about his, then crush, Adam. You were there for him when coming to terms with his feelings and there when he brought Adam home to your parents for the first time. In return he was always there for you, helping you when you were sick, giving you advice when you were down in the dumps, and he helped you through your first ever breakup.
Time was flying by so quickly and soon, you were an accomplished pilot just like your big brother, and Shiro had asked Adam to marry him. Life was just the way you liked it and you didn't think anything could ruin your wonderful relationship with Shiro. If none of the petty sibling fights you got into or even any of the serious ones could have ruined it, you didn't know what could. But, you could never forget Kerberos...
"We're back!!!" You heard a voice shout from a room over. It was the cherry voice of Lance McClain exclaiming their arrival in the castle. You began running back down the corridor to return to the lounge where you heard the voices coming from.
"Hey, (Y/N)!" Hunk smiled seeing you enter the room. You saw Lance, Pidge, Hunk, Keith, and Allura all standing in the room.
"How did it go out there today?" You asked them all, subconsciously looking around for your brother. The Paladins went to a freed planet to collect some tech that was needed to help the fight against the Galra.
"We collected all the samples we needed." Pidge told you before gesturing behind her, "Coran and Shiro are unloading as we speak." She was unusually smiley, but you brushed it off as her just being happy to have new tech to work with. You were about to leave to go find Shiro when,
"(Y/N)," Keith said your name now, walking over to you, also dawning a small smile. "There's also something we brought back for you, too."
"Hey!" You heard Lance complain, "I wanted to be the one to tell (Y/N)!"
"Too bad." Keith smirked at him and the two began a small, signature squabble as they walked past towards the direction of the showers.
You looked over at Pidge and Hunk now curiously, "What are they talking about?" You asked them, furrowing your brow in thought trying to guess what on earth they could have brought you. You heard them both giggle as they refused to give you any clue before heading towards the showers as well. Your last hope was Allura.
She just looked as confused as you, "I do wonder what they had brought you as well." She said warmly before following you towards the other door the four Paladins had come from originally. As you and Allura made your way down the hallway she tried to offer you ideas as to what they could've brought you, but half the things she said you had no idea what she was talking about.
Once you reached the hangar where the Paladins had come from, you sprinted towards the Black Lion. Coran was placing small metal crates onto a floating cart and Shiro was helping him.
"Shiro, Hey!" You yelled as you got closer, Allura still following suit.
"(Y/N)!" Shiro called your name happily placing down a crate and turning towards you. You laughed as you ran into his arms, you felt him stumble a bit upon impact and you heard him chuckle.
"You really missed me that much?" He teased you as he gave you a tight squeeze before putting you back safely balanced onto your feet.
"Always do." You smiled up at him affectionately. You then cut right to the chase, "Keith said you guys brought me something!"
Shiro raised an eyebrow at you, "He did, did he?" You nodded in response and he let out another laugh. "Alright, you got me." He admitted humbly.
"Is it another crystal?" You asked excitedly. Shiro had brought you small trinkets before from the missions you didn't get to go on. The Paladins often needed your help, but sometimes when there wasn't any risk you'd just stay behind.
"It's better than that." He said mysteriously as he lead you back towards his lion.
"Is it a bigger crystal?" You asked which earned you a laugh in return.
"No... now stop guessing!" He shook his head in amusement. "Wait here, I'll be right back." Shiro instructed you, turning snd disappearing into the lion.
You looked back over to where Allura and Coran were conversing about something while you waited. Once your brother reemerged from Black, he was holding a small box that had some kind of cloth or blanket sticking out from it. You stared at the box in pure curiosity as Shiro grew closer.
"Keep your voice down," he advised as the contents of the box were nearly in full sight. "You don't want to startle him."
You were still not understanding what this could be but now you were thinking it may be alive. Despite not knowing, you listened to your brother and kept quiet. Shiro held the box further down and you saw him.
You had to hold in a squeal as you saw what Shiro had brought you. It was a small light gray ball of fluff. The creature had long droopy ears, four legs with five tiny toes on his paws. It had four small horns above his closed eyes, a pink nose and cute little pouting mouth. His chest and his face were white and he was all curled up in his long, white, fluffy tail. He sort of reminded you of a chinchilla but much more alien like.
Gasping you looked back up to Shiro, "No way..." you breathed out finally. Shiro had a large smile on his face.
"Do you like him?" He asked now, "His breed is concerned to be a loyal partner on Ormaphu. He's a traditional Ormanphian pet called a Bentorm."
"Shiro I love him!" You gushed looking back down as your sweet, little baby Bentorm.
"I'm glad, I thought you would."
When you were kids, you would always beg your parents for a pet but they never let you or Shiro get anything besides fish. Your new Bentorm was the most amazing pet you could think of! Your attention was turned back to the box when you heard him let out a soft yawn as he stretched and uncurled himself. You let out a soft aww, as he sat upright and looked up at you with big, black eyes. He looked as if he was smiling as he looked up at you, he began making a sweet chirping noise and you looked up at Shiro in amazement.
"You can pick him up." Shiro told you softly, smile still prominent on his face. You reached down and picked him up softly from his tummy, under his arms. You pulled him close to your chest and he quickly snuggled into you, smile on his cute, Bentorm face.
"From what his breeder told me, they don't get much bigger and they love riding on their owners shoulders as they get older."
"Allura!" You exclaimed, "Look what Shiro brought me!!"

Allura came over then, in the same awe that you were upon seeing him for the first time. "Is that a Bentorm?" Allura asked looking up at Shiro.
Shiro nodded and moved the box onto his hip you free one of his hands to pet the Bentorms head.
"What are you gonna call him?" Shiro asked looking back up to you.
         "Hmmm, I'm not sure..."

Gun Park x Reader: this is our place (we make the rules)
Chapter 2 - Probably should read ch1 first Gun has a new neighbour. Index: Chapter 1 | Chapter 2 | Chapter 3 | Chapter 4 | Chapter 5 | Chapter 6 | Chapter 7 | Chapter 8 | Chapter 9 | Chapter 10 | Epilogue
Tumblr media
Good manners cost nothing.
Certaining when you barely had a few wons to your name, that was all you could afford. And your pride.
So just because your neighbour essentially said ‘leave me alone, have a nice life’, he still did you a favour.
That you owe him for.
Love thy neighbour and all that.
.
.
Gun Park’s home is not homely by any stretch of the imagination.
All black and white and grey, nearly industrial in taste with wooden accents. Straight lines and sharp edges softened by nature’s hues.
Very few furnishings adorn his apartment, minimal and just shy of clinical. Anything that has a place is the best of the best, luxurious and with an exorbitant price tag to match.
Handcrafted bed from Sweden, which apart from Gun’s, has not experienced the same body twice.
Imported italian coffee machine, used only with beans from Kenya. Drink of choice: 2 shots of espresso, taken as is.
Never-used cooking appliances, still brand new and silver and top of the range.
L-shaped sectional sofa from one of the hottest designers in South Korea, selected and praised by HNH’s own Interior Designer with words that held no interest to Gun.
An obscenely huge bathtub in the corner of a spacious bathroom and facing a breathtaking view. A shower with a rainfall head amongst other sprays and nozzles. Both having washed away a lifetime (and then some)of dirt and grime and blood.
Enough space for a personal home gym in one room (even if the building does include a gym and pool for communal use), and a walk-in wardrobe the size of most other pads in Gangnam.
He’s not much for sentiment, just a couple of more meaningful trinkets here or there. Reminders of Japan and souvenirs from his victims.
Most surprising of all, in a lone forgotten corner, outlined against the impressive, sprawling cityscape and where the best sun spot should be, sits a plant.
Given to him by Goo Kim as a joke for housewarming, “Let’s see how well you can keep something alive”.
Gun’s first urge was to throw it back in his face. Though. The idea of keeping something living intrigued him. A little challenge.
Healthy and vibrant and green with long spiky leaves when it was thrusted into Gun’s hands.
It didn’t hold his attention for long.
Kept alive in the early days by the cleaner, before Gun realised he hated the idea of someone touching his things and being in his space.
Now a sad, neglected eyesore. Shrivelled and brown and hanging on for dear life. Lucky to get a few squirts of water once a month; momentary rejuvenation until it is left to wither again.
And lastly.
Hidden in the cabinet below the huge TV, regularly rotated out for the latest model, lives a few gaming consoles.
...Because Gun is still a young bachelor after all. He isn’t completely immune from the psychological thrills of video games.
.
.
Minimal as it is, and busy as Gun is - it’s still his home.
A sanctuary full of things he has collated and deemed worthy enough to be in his life that he makes sure to regularly return to.
Today, he’s ready for a weekend of nothing. No doubt his leg will bounce and get twitchy after a few hours, but the last few weeks of being on the go with the Four Crews has taken a toll.
Not to mention the hijinks with his neighbour yesterday. Someone that looks like they don’t belong in this district, nevermind in the building.
Yet you knocked on his door.
On Shiro Oni’s door.
Exuding a quiet confidence even as your body betrayed your nerves. Even as two spots of pink appeared on your cheeks once you took in the full view of Gun Park.
Most fascinating of all is that you saw his eyes, treated it as an everyday occurrence, and did not hesitate or flinch.
Huh.
.
.
You ring the doorbell again.
At first, you thought this was an excellent idea.
But now, as you wait (seriously, what is Gun doing in there), you’re feeling more and more foolish.
Tupperwares of homemade kimchi stew, and kimchi sits in the crook of your elbow.
Because when someone has enough money to drown in, and obviously someone living in this building should have, then there’s nothing like a homemade touch.
Here he comes.
The footsteps don’t sound irritable today. Thank the heavens. Maybe antsy, a little too quick footed to be relaxed.
The door is flung open, and your neighbour greets you.
Ok, his footsteps didn’t sound irritable but his face certainly is.
And how does this guy have this effect on you?
Your throat dries up as you notice his hair flopping over one eye, no longer messy after a full day of what must be work, instead likely just leftover from his bedhead.
(Bed. Head. your horrid nasty brain repeats as you think about his BED.)
The linen shirt and pants. Chest bared, pretty collar bones on show and teasing the outline of hard pecs.
Relaxed mode, weekend mode.
Sleeves again rolled up and highlighting the tattoos and faint veins protruding on his forearms.
Seriously, did this guy choose the tattoo placement just to highlight his muscular forearms? Fuck him, it absolutely works.
Gun crosses them, leaning against his open door and observing you. His face, previously not bothering to hide his annoyance at being interrupted by you once again, only shows amusement. Amused to see how hard you are ogling him. It’s not new, though many don’t make it this blatantly obvious.
“Morning,” You hear your voice cracking and clear your throat. “Here.”
You hold out your tupperware boxes.
No hands receive them. They just hang there, in the air between you both.
Gun doesn’t move, continuing to look at you with a hint of a smile and an arched brow.
“It’s thanks. For yesterday.” You give the boxes a little shake. Why the hell can’t this guy just take it.
“No.” is all he gives, retreating back and closing the door.
Your foot darts out, jamming itself into the gap just before it shuts.
“Just take it,” you try to shoulder your way in a little, "it’s for you.”
“I’ve broken people’s necks for less. Move your foot.”
“Just take it,” you repeat again, “then I don’t owe you anything. We’re even.”
Gun considers this.
He didn’t think you owed him anything for yesterday, but you obviously did. It was a quick job in exchange for a peaceful evening, not out of the goodness of his heart.
If this right now is what it takes to get you out of his hair-
“I promise I’ll leave you alone,” comes your voice.
And out of his life forever. Fine.
Gun relents, stepping back as you stagger forward and into his domain.
You hold out the boxes, avoiding his gaze, face bright red at how much of an idiot you feel and what a fuss this has turned out to be.
He finally takes them, once again fingers grazing yours. “Thanks.”
Your eyes meet his as that singular word catches you off balance. You didn’t think it existed in his vocabulary.
“Now get out.”
Ah, that’s more like it.

back to homepage pairing : megumi fushiguro x gender neutral reader warnings : minor cursing and some fluff  wordcount : 1371 a/n : HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!! so i hc megumi as having 2 dogs in this au,, and i had no idea what to name them since correct me if i’m wrong he doesn’t name his divine dogs in the actual manga. i named them kuro and shiro (black and white) since they’re both black and white. yeah i know, real creative. LMFAO ████████████████  100% Complete. Enjoy your game.
Tumblr media
Megumi Fushiguro was a simple man.      Nothing interested him much besides his work, and his dogs. But who could blame him? He was good at the things he enjoyed, and that was one of life’s most straightforward principles.       That was, until he met you.       He found himself doing things that old Megumi would simply scoff at for you, going on random dates on a whim, actually going out to do stuff aside from hanging out with the two friends he had, doing sappy stuff just for you- you really did magic on him, and even he didn’t know what you particularly did for him to fall so hard.       But nonetheless, he did.       That’s how you found yourself in a quiet place that Megumi had brought you to, some place that you’ve never heard of before. Distant chirping of the birds was music to your ears as you sat on the picnic blanket, legs splayed out, and enjoying the refreshing weather. This was your first Valentines day together, and Megumi was determined to make it otherworldly.       Droplets of dew still remained on the blades of grass, the sky was clear and a soft shade of blue. Trees rustled around you two, and an expansive tranquil pond was just in front of you, a few lily pads laid about, and if you squinted your eyes enough you could see a few frogs croaking.      “This place is cool, Megumi!” you beam as soon as he sits down with you with a grunt, a picnic basket in his hand. His two dogs, Kuro and Shiro trailed after him, sniffing at the air and drinking in the new scent before eventually running off not too far to presumably play.     You turn to sneak a glance at him, and he’s already looking at you back unsurprisingly. His legs also splayed out, he gives you a quick peck on the cheek before staring off into the pond as well.       “I used to go here often as a child, no one really knew about it other then my sister and I. Nice and calm, isn’t it, (Y/N)?” he says, digging through the picnic and pulling out two simple onigiris. He hands one to you, before licking his lips and staring down at his tuna one.       “Yeah.” you breathe in the air, and you could’ve sworn it felt fresher here. “This is perfect.” closing your eyes, you enjoyed the cool shade underneath the tree that you and Megumi had picked out prior to this date, sighing happily.        He scoffs a little, opening his pre-packaged onigiri, the crinkling of the wrapper enough to make your stomach rumble. You hadn’t eaten since yesterday, eventually opening your eyes and doing the same.       “I thought you wouldn’t like it...” you feel his eyes shoot lazers into your neck, and you look back at him, just to reassure that you were listening. “I don’t know, I guess it’s because living in Tokyo you’d expect me to take you out for something expensive, but I just assumed you’d like this better for some reason and I regretted it as soon as we started packing.”        You noted how he spoke with a tinge of nervousness, and you smile at him, just as a way to coax him to continue on.       Megumi looked down on his lap, taking a large bite out of the onigiri and sticking his finger into the tuna paste, he whistles loudly, and you hear distant thumping against the soil grow louder.      Shiro and Kuro were rapidly advancing towards the pair of you, and your heart softens. This was something you loved about Megumi, he didn’t think about himself a lot of the time.    Even if he didn’t realize it, he expressed more compassion then most people you’ve met. As the dogs lapped away at his fingers, he laughed like a child, talking about how it tickled under his breath. Rolling up his sleeves after they were done, he swirled his hands in the ponds a few times before flicking them, the water droplets seeping into your clothing.       You giggle and he turns back up to look at you, expression softening as he realizes that some of the water had gotten onto your skin. “Here, love, we have a few extra napkins-”      “What? No, that’s not necessary, dumbass.” you laugh. “It’s just a few droplets of water, I’ll be fine.”       “I got it all over you, dumbass.” he retorts back, chuckling dryly.      “As I said babe, I don’t mind~” taking a bite out of your onigiri as you say this, you just now realize how lucky you are. Spending time with the love of your life, Megumi Fushiguro, eating yummy food and watching the world pass by. It was something truly to remember. The banter and the nicknames was one of your favorite things about dating him.      Sighing in defeat, Megumi shakes his head, grumbling under his breath before getting up.       “Hey grumpypants, where are you going?” pulling at his leg, you look up at his looming figure, patiently waiting for an answer. Your half-eaten onigiri forgotten.        “Don’t worry about it, sweetheart.” leaning a little, he kisses your forehead. “I just wanna do something..”       “Nooo! Don’t leave me!” you dramatically bend back, the back of your hand limply placed onto your forehead.       He looks at you with a confused expression.       “Sarcasm.” is all that leaves your lips, and you try not to laugh at his expression that follows afterwards, almost like it was saying, “Ohhh! God I’m stupid.”      “You should probably put your onigiri back into the basket though, Shiro and Kuro are gonna wreck the poor thing apart.”     Megumi’s face lit up in realization, bending down even further and placing it back into the basket before giving you an awkward thumbs up and an even awkward-er grin.       “Thanks. See, this is why you’re the best significant other ever.” he trails off, before straightening and looking down at you, silent. Opening his mouth to speak, you brace for something unexpected. Otherwise, why would he be so dramatic about what he was about to say?       “I love you, by the way.”      Or it was that.       See, you two were in a fairly new relationship. “I love you’s” weren’t very prominent, but when it happened you swore you were the happiest person alive.      “I love you too.”       A flicker of relief shows in his dark eyes before disappearing, and he walks off into a pathway down the deep forest. He probably knew the area well, and so you place the back of your head on the tree trunk, content with life.  ‧₊˚✩彡.      “Hey, anyone home?” you hear a distant voice, and you open your eyes slightly, your eyesight adjusting to whoever could be there. The sky was growing dark, you realize, and you hear the slight buzzing of cicadas.       “Megumi?-” waving your limp arm around to touch his body, he places a reassuring hand onto yours, and your heart rate goes down by one million.      “Hey. You were knocked out cold, babe.” it wasn’t often he used babe, but you still loved that nickname.       “Oops.” giving him a lazy grin, you look down at whatever he’s holding, and a small but vibrant bundle of native flowers look back at you. Vibrant purples, reds, pinks, and yellows, large and small. All of them equally as beautiful, you gape at them.        “...Did I mention that I also liked flower gathering as a child...?” Megumi breathes out nervously, as if you’d do something to him if you didn’t like the arrangement, but you were truly speechless.       The guy seriously went out and gathered beautiful flowers for you- LITERALLY handpicked- and he expected you to be disappointed?      Just how bad was his self confidence?      “I don’t like them.” his face falters and your heart almost explodes, all you wanted to do was hug the poor baby. “I love them!”       Megumi looks almost surprised, as if he wasn’t expecting that, before a small curve to his lips formed.       “Thank you.” is all he could muster.        Standing up, you wrap your arms around his neck loosely, and he drops the flowers onto the picnic blanket (thankfully!). He too wraps his arms around your figure, and he so desperately tries to hide the blush forming quickly on his cheeks, but he fails to do so.

“Keef!”
The young boy dropped his toys and turned around to see his best friend. Although he’d never admit it, he loved the way they mispronounced his name, it was… cute. “(Y/n)! What are you doing here?”
“I came to make a deal.” You held out a paper to him, an adorably serious look on your face.
“A deal?” He took the paper, looking over the crayon written words. The writing was messy and mistake-ridden, but it didn’t matter to Keith, what mattered was that it was a proposal to Keith, a marriage proposal.
“You are my bestest friend ever. So, I’ve decided that if I’m not already married in twenty years, which is like a million years away anyway, then we should get married.”
Keith’s surprise turned into a smile which turned into a laugh. “(Y/N), you’re only 7-”
“And a half! You're only 4 months older anyway, I’m basically 8 like you!”
“Okay, you’re 7 and a half, but shouldn’t you wait until you're older to get married.”
“I am, didn’t you read it? It says 20 years away,” you pointed at a large blue 20, “see? Right there.” You huffed crossing your arms and looking down, your serious face crumbling as you toed at the dirt.
“Okay.” Keith figured if he did want to marry someone one day it should be you.
“Okay?” You looked up, failing to mask your surprise.
“Yup. Oh, I think we need to sign this, right?”
“Oh, right!’ You fished two crayons out of your pocket, handing him the red one, and keeping your favorite colored one for yourself. After setting the paper on the sandbox’s lining you both signed, sealing a contract that would be forgotten for a long time. 19 years to be exact.
-
You were going through some old things of yours (your parents had asked you to come home to see what you wanted to keep and what you wanted to toss as they needed your old room cleared since they were planning on moving). As you were in the process of going through your childhood stuff, you stumbled across your old treasure chest filled with drawings, toys, and crumpled at the very bottom-- a wedding certificate. You laughed as you pulled it out, flattening it as best as you could. Keith absolutely had to see this. After tugging out your phone you sent him a quick message to hurry over.
Keith got there not even twenty minutes later looking for you somewhat panicked. After an apology and a brief explanation, he calmed down. Actually, he was pretty amused. “I can’t believe you told me I was going to marry you.”
“Hey! You’re the one that agreed.” The both of you were laughing as Keith looked over the paper.
“According to this, we’re supposed to get married in a couple weeks.” Keith grinned at you, blushing slightly from what you assumed was second-hand embarrassment from your younger selves.
“Oh gosh, so it does.” Your giggle fit picked up again, as you continued to speak through it. “Guess we have to get married. A contract is a contract, as they say.”
“I’ve never heard that saying, I’m not entirely convinced you didn’t just make that up.”
You held your hand to your chest, barely containing your grin. “Are you, Keith Kogane, saying I’m making things up?”
“Oh absolutely.” He smiled, not even trying to hide his smile.
You gasped dramatically. “How rude.” The paper in your hand caught your attention once more. “Why did you sign it? Way back then, I mean.”
“Why?” Keith took the paper from you, smoothing out some of the worst folds and eyeing it fondly. “How could I not? You came up to me that day and I vaguely remember feeling intimidated-“
“What?! By me?! Your friend?!”
“Well, sure. You came up to me holding this sheet of stark white printer paper- which has seen better days now, but back then it looked official-“
“Kind of what I was going for,” you laughed.
“Right. So any way you come marching up with an official-looking piece of paper and then basically declare that you were going to marry me. And I was intimidated. I mean there was this person I liked-“ Keith fumbled over his words, speaking more quickly after his accidental confession, “and they were asking me to marry them. It was a time of very strong intimidation.” He laughed awkwardly, hoping you hadn’t caught his blunder. “Anyway what are you going to do with this?”
“Wait! You liked me?!”
“I- um- yeah…” He fiddled with the edge of the paper before handing it back to you, noticeably uncomfortable.
“Wow.” The word came out as more of a sound than an actual statement. “I’m just- I can’t believe it. I guess since we signed this I’ll have to keep it. Just, y'know, in case I don’t fall madly in love with some rando within the next three weeks.” You spoke clearly, although your voice did have a slightly teasing tone. It wasn’t mean, though, far from it, if anything it sounded kind of flirty. You hoped Keith understood you were being genuine.
He flushed. “Yeah, maybe… Hey, I’ve got to head out, Shiro’s having this thing and he asked me to go. I’ll see you later?”
“Sounds good. Maybe Sal’s tonight?”
“Sure.” Keith grabbed his bag and basically bounded out of the room, face aflame.
You felt a little guilty about flustering him so much, but really you were feeling quite overwhelmed yourself. Keith and you’d been friends since basically the day you were born and yeah, you’d had a crush on him, and yeah, maybe you still did. But you couldn’t just come out with it. Besides, there was no way he liked you still anyway. You’d gotten a rise out of him for your own amusement (and maybe to see if he still had feelings for you), but you were certain it was just his embarrassment at the situation that made him so flustered. You were a little crushed, to be honest. To be completely truthful you wanted to do nothing more than bottle your feelings up and binge video games all night to forget the awkwardness you’d just set in place, but no, you had already asked Keith to meet you at Sal’s.
-
By the time evening rolled around and it was time to head to Sal’s you had worked yourself into a pit of guilt and regret. Keith wasn’t there when you got there. So you took up residence in the lone booth at the back where the two of you usually sat. Ten minutes had passed before you saw your friends Shiro and Matt walk in. Keith still wasn’t here so you waved them over. They seemed happy enough to see you, you were happy to see them too, even if you had been hoping they had Keith with them. They didn’t.
“(N/n), hey! Is Keith with you?” Shiro grinned, leaning down to side hug you before sliding in opposite you. Matt slid in next to you pulling you into a hug that quickly became a noogie.
“Gah! Matt what the hell, what are you five?” You shoved away from him, giving him the bird as you turned back to Shiro. “No, he was supposed to meet me here like half an hour ago, I thought maybe he was with you.”
“I haven’t seen him since this afternoon.”
“Shit. Did he seriously stand me up?”
“Oh? Did you two finally confess your undying love for each other? And here I thought we had something, (N/n).” Matt lounged against you and you grumbled despite smiling at the dramatic man.
“First of all shut your mouth. Second of all, you know you’re the only one for me.” Shiro barked with laughter and Matt nuzzled in closer to you and you rolled your eyes playfully at the act. “Jesus, you’re being worse than usual, are you drunk?”
“He’s got a buzz.”
“Ah. That makes sense then. Matt, my darling lover, I need you to get your bony ass elbow out from my rib cage.” He laughed as he sat back up.
Though he had been smiling at the antics of his friends only moments prior, Shiro was quick to take up the serious role. “Wait, so you haven’t seen Keith since this morning.” You nodded. “Did something happen between the two of you?”
You flushed, this was the conversation you were hoping wasn’t going to happen. Still, you couldn’t lie to Shiro, the man was pretty much a human lie detector to his friends. “Kind of… I found this dumb thing from when we were kids this morning and I think it upset him.”
Shiro cocked his head to the side. “But Keith loves looking through things from your guy’s childhood.”
“Well, I think maybe it was more so what I said about it. I may have been a bit out of line with my joking.”
“What’d you say?” Math looked at you, eyes widened.
You buried your head in your hands to hide your face. “I may have implied we should get married.” Both Matt and Shiro broke into a fit of laughter at your expense and you groaned. “Guys shut up! Look I didn’t know what else to do, he told me he used to have feelings for me and I guess I was just feeling bold. I’ve been beating myself up for it all day.”
Shiro caught his breath, quietening his chuckles momentarily. “He told you that? And I assume it’s safe to say that you're referring to the fake proposal back in- oh gosh, I want to say first, maybe kindergarten?”
“Second-grade, and yeah. I mean, what would you do? You know how I feel about Keith and it was like he was saying the very thing I wanted to hear for basically all of my life and then he bails the second I reciprocate. The only thing I can think is that I fucked up, which honestly let's be real, is probably the case. And now he’s uncomfortable around me, and I don’t know what to do.”
Shiro blinked, face going slack. “Oh, wow. Okay. I can’t believe he actually told you. I don’t think you scared him off, (N/n), I think maybe he wasn’t expecting you to say anything like that and he didn’t know how to handle it. I’m sure if you give him time he’ll work it out himself. Until then you need to stop beating yourself up over it.”
“Easier said than done.” You crossed your arms, slumping in your seat.
“I know, but you’re going to have to trust me on this one.”
-
Keith had never shown up to Sal’s and honestly now that a few days had passed with him one wording you, Shiro's advice was getting harder and harder to follow. You were in your apartment, putting everything from your old room away when you stumbled across the object that caused this whole situation. You crumpled it, tossing it aside. “As if I needed the reminder.” Your birthday was rapidly approaching, with only little over a week left until the day. It was supposed to be a joyous occasion, but it only served as a reminder that Keith was avoiding you. You glared at the piece of paper laying crumpled pathetically at the floor. A sigh escaped you and you sunk to the floor, grabbing it again. It hurt sure, but you felt bad just tossing it aside like that. Why couldn’t life be as easy as you thought it would be all those years ago? You’d always loved Keith, that much should have been obvious from your proposal. But the idea that your feelings had been reciprocated and that they may not be anymore crushed you; even more than that, the idea that you’d ruined your friendship with Keith completely wrecked you. Even if you couldn’t have him as your significant other, you would always want to be friends; he was your other half.
Your phone rang and you jumped, startled by the sudden noise. The caller ID said it was Matt. Decline. You just couldn’t deal with his silliness right now. The phone rang again and you were irked to see Matt’s face pop up again. Decline. You pressed down on the screen as if the more aggressive action would keep him from calling again. A moment later a message popped up. It was from Matt.
Answer my call D:
You rolled your eyes. A second later the phone started buzzing again. You slid the answer button, annoyance written in your words as you clipped out a curt “What?”.
“About time, I was wondering if I’d have to come to your house to tell you.”
“Tell me what?!”
“Now, now. Is that any way to talk to someone with good news?” His voice was a singsong that only proved to grate on your nerves further.
“You know what, I don’t care.”
His laughter faded. “Okay, okay, sorry. Yeesh, this whole thing has really gotten to you, hasn’t it?” He was quick to take on a more empathetic tone, it was much appreciated on your end.
“I’m sorry, I’m being kind of an ass, aren't I? But, yeah, it has. Anyway, what was your news?”
“Shiro has a surprise for you!”
“Wait, what?”
“Can you meet us at his place?”
“Yeah-- wait, Matt, what’s the surprise?”
“It wouldn’t be a surprise if I told you, now would it?” You tried to speak again, but the line went dead. He’d hung up.
You wanted to ignore the phone call, but you know if you did the curiosity would linger much longer than you’d like. So instead, you huffily slipped on your jacket and shoes and headed out to Shiro’s place.
For having a surprise for you, Shiro wasn’t very quick to answer his door. When he finally did open the door he was red in the face and looked like he had just been running laps. You guffawed. “Are you good?” Too breathless to answer, he just nodded, stepping aside to let you in. “What were you doing-- the hell is this?”
“Oh that, that’s nothing. You look great, but hey have you thought about going out, like with us?” You blinked slowly at Matt who was trying to pull your attention from reusable grocery bags that were spilling out streamers and other various decorations.
“What are you talking about?”
“We’re going to go party and you’re coming with us. No more moping. But maybe you might want to get a little more dressed up, that’s on me, I should have told you before. I was just worried you wouldn’t show up.”
"I wouldn’t have. Matt, I don’t want to go out partying. Besides you’re a little early, my birthday isn’t for-”
“We know! But you needed a pick me up, look it won’t be one of those shitty bars, okay. Somewhere more laid back.”
You rolled your eyes again. “What's wrong with what I have on now then?”
“Pwetty pwease. Look, we even bought you a gift!”
Matt pulled out a nicely wrapped gift box, Shiro must have wrapped it.
“Go on, open it.”
So you did, pulling the ribbon and tearing the paper off. Inside the box was an outfit, and despite your earlier protests, you smiled. It was a number you’d been eyeing for a while now. “Thank you both. Fine. We can go party, but just for a little while. Let me go get ready first, yeah?”
“Sounds good.”
-
The place they ended up taking you was Oriande, a place that landed somewhere between a club and a bar. It was classier than most of the bars on the road, but it also still had a dance floor giving it a more casual atmosphere as opposed to the high-class lounges up the road. It was still early in the evening, the sun just barely touching the horizon when you went in. Pastel neon lights engulfed you, the soft yet bright pinks blues and purples inviting you deeper into the establishment. Honestly, you were surprised you hadn’t been here before, it was just your style. Shiro ushered you over to a table nearer the back that looked like it had been decorated for an event. Oh, dang, were you here for someone else's party? But you didn’t even bring anything-
A cheery lady approached you. “You must be one of our bachelorxs!” She clapped a hand on you back and before you could get a word in edgewise she continued. “Now, your hubby-to-be isn't here yet, but that doesn’t mean the fun can't begin right?” She laughed friendly, before continuing, barely a breath in between her last sentence. “So," she stretched out the 'o' so that it sounded more like 'ooh', "we’ve set up a nice little bar section for your party, and of course since it's your party there's an open bar. Your planners were very thorough! If you need anything just holler!” And like that she had run off to attend other matters.
You rounded on your friends who were looking particularly guilty. “What the hell did you do!?”
“Look before you say anything-”
“No. I-” You pinched the bridge of your nose. “I get that you wanted the discount or special treatment or whatever, but did you really have to rope me in?”
“Well actually-”
“Shiro? Why’d you ask me to meet you here? Isn’t it kind of loud--...” There was Keith looking a little worse for the wear than when you’d last seen him, but he had still cleaned up well. Your attention immediately left Shiro.
“Keith?” His face paled as you approached him, eyes darting away as if searching from an exit; your heart clenched painfully. When he realized he couldn't so easily dart away he begrudgingly looked up at you, face a soft pink, although it might have just been the lighting-- it was hard to tell.
“(Y/n)... Hey…”
“It’s nice to see you again.” Even though you don’t want to see me, you thought bitterly. “Did Shiro invite you? It looks like it’s somebody’s party.” This caught him off guard.
“I... it is?”
You shrugged. “I’m assuming, although I think Shiro,” You yanked the fleeing man over, grip iron clad on his arm, Matt had already made his getaway, “and Matthew are running a bit of a con, but there are free drinks so...”
“Oh, my gosh, you two are so cu~ute! You must be our bachelor, I'm sure your fiance must have filled you in, so if you need anything let me know. I’ll let the bartender know that you’re both here.”
You watched in mortification as the chipper woman from before clapped a hand on Keith’s shoulder, effectively labeling him as your fiance. His face was burning with a blush, you were certain it wasn't the lighting this time. “No- that’s not--”
“Berry! We got an issue!” Someone from behind the bar shouted at who you assumed was the chipper lady. She frowned. “Shoot. Sorry, I gotta go handle this, enjoy your party!” Your anger from before you saw Keith had been reignited with a vengeance.
“Okay, so maybe I should explain…” Shiro looked beyond nervous.
“You think?!”
“It was Matt’s idea. Well, okay so originally we thought maybe we could pretend to be getting engaged for a couple of free drinks but then you two… well, you’ve both been a mess and refused to confront each other… So Matt came up with this idea, which in hindsight is kind of a shitty one, but hey now you can talk and there's plenty of pre-paid liquid courage to help you.”
“Shiro!”
“I’m sorry that we put you in this situation, but I’m not sorry I tricked you both into coming. Who knows how long you two would’ve gone on avoiding each other? And I can't deal with you both being upset over the same thing just because you don't want to confront each other. You both have been beating yourselves up, and waiting around for the situation to just magically right itself. So if it takes alcohol to get you to talk, then so be it." Shiro had taken on that authoritative aura of his and you huffed. You hated it when he was right, and he usually was.
"Fine." Your voice sounded cold even to your ears. You hadn’t meant for it to and you couldn't stand the thought of seeing if Keith reacted to it. Honestly, you weren't sure if it would hurt more if he did or didn't. Instead of looking you stubbornly grabbed his hand and dragged him to somewhere you could talk without shouting. You ended up finding yourselves alone in the hallway to the restroom, the music was still blaring but it was far enough away that you could actually talk. You finally let go of Keith’s hand, turning around to face him. It was almost too much, after so many days of having been rejected by him. Your nerves gripped you with a renewed sense of terror. You couldn’t talk, instead, you felt your throat tighten. Fuck. You were gonna cry. You hadn’t dragged him all the way over here just to cry in front of him. A strained whimper left your lips when you made to speak and you quickly snapped your mouth shut, turning away in embarrassment. Why now, of all times did your emotions have to be getting the better of you.
A shaky hand wiped your tears away. Your eyes shot to meet Keith’s. He looked unsure of himself like he would dart away at any second and yet, he still stood before you, gently brushing away the tears that refused to stop flowing. “H-hey, (N/n), hey… No, no, fuck. Shit. I’m sorry. I didn’t-- I didn’t mean to make you cry.” That only made you cry harder and soon enough Keith had awkwardly pulled you into his arms. It was no unknown fact that physical affection was one of the quickest ways to comfort you and as your childhood best friend, Keith knew this better than anyone. “I,” He cleared his throat, “I know I fucked up. I never wanted to hurt you. I’d rather die.” He paused and for a moment you thought that he was done talking and tried to focus on recomposing yourself. You never left his arms though, afraid that stepping away would mean you’d never get to be this close to him again. “But I- I didn’t know what to do… I was scared. My feelings for you were laid out and I couldn’t be sure what you were thinking.” Something wet hit the top of your head-- Keith was crying too? “So, I did what I do best and I ran away. I shouldn’t have, but… What else was I supposed to do?” His voice wavered, his question coming out near breathless and timorous.
“I don’t understand? Why were you scared? I don’t care if you used to have a crush on me as a kid! I’m sorry if I scared you off with that stupid comment, I just… I don’t know. I thought maybe…” You had pushed back, this wasn’t a conversation you could very well have with your face smooshed into Keith’s chest. Regret clenched around your heart like a chain, but you’d already froze before. You forced yourself to meet his eyes, the beautiful violet-grey causing a short-lived wave of calm to wash over you. They were familiar, and yet the tears falling from them were not. Keith rarely cried. Acting on instinct alone, your hands made to wipe his tears away. He let you, watching you with a piercing gaze that was trying to dissect your every movement, find answers in the space between your words and your actions. He couldn’t find any hidden meanings, but he couldn't find any answers either.
“Comment?”
“What?” Your voice croaked out, sounding just as confused as he had.
“You said stupid comment? What comment?” Was he serious? Hadn’t your flirting been what caused this all to spiral?
“When I was flirting with you! Isn’t that what ran you off? I mean I didn’t actually mean we had to get married, just like a date or- or whatever…”
“Wait you were flirting with me?!” You felt like screaming, how had you managed to get yourself into this predicament of giving Keith your feelings on a platter thrice in your life now? Regardless of whether he knew or not, you felt like vomiting from the nerves.
“I thought it was obvious?” You laughed, but it came out strange and garbled, “I mean, shit Keith, I only propositioned you for marriage twice now.” The idea was both incredibly embarrassing and way too funny.
He seemed to feel similarly as a snort left him, quickly preceded by a fit of laughter that you too couldn't help but join in on. The both of you sounded delirious, and honestly, you kind of were. Tears flowed freely as you laughed, making you feel as though you may have lost it. When the laughter finally died down you were left shaky and almost numb. But the weight was no longer on your shoulders so that was something. “In your defense,” Keith’s hands had come to wipe away your tears again, completely dismissing his own, “I’ve technically never refused your propositions either.”
Your hand met his on your cheek, stopping the motions but also stopping him from leaving. “I mean, you did run away the second time…”
“But I never said no.”
“Are you saying you want to marry me?” Your brow arched, eyes searching his for a sign that he was joking. Surely, he wasn’t actually saying he wanted to marry you.
His eyes widened and he glanced to the side bashfully. “Maybe not a week from now… Honestly, though, I don’t think I could ever even imagine myself spending the rest of my life with anyone else? Like you’ve been my constant since basically day one and I’ve… I’ve had feelings for you for almost as long.” You could feel the tremble of his hands, letting your grip tighten slightly afraid he might run again if you didn’t. Your other hand moved to press his ridiculous fringe out of his eyes.
“Oh, Keith.” You couldn’t help the soft smile that found its way to your lips. “Are you saying what I think you’re saying?”
He bit his lip. “That depends on what you think I’m saying?”
“Keith… Please don’t make me wait any longer to hear it.”
He laughed, although you could still feel the slight tremble in his hand. “(Y/n) (L/n), I have wanted to be with you since we were in second grade, maybe longer, and that’s never changed. If you’ll have me, I’d love nothing more than to be with you.” He paused a beat. “Oh, but, um, I do think marriage would be rushing it... “
You giggled, though he sounded monotone, you knew he was joking. “I’ve waited this long, I think I can wait a while longer if that’s what it takes.” The two of you shared a laugh and before you knew it, Keith had gently tugged you back into his arms. With your face pressed firmly into his chest, you could feel the erratic beating of his heart. “But really, Keith. I’ve had feelings for you for as long as I can remember. I’m glad we finally get to be here like this.”
“Speaking of, do you want to dip out and go somewhere-”
“Less loud?”
“Yeah.”
“That would be lovely.” With your hand in his, Keith led you through the crowds, neither of you bothering much to say goodbye to the now tipsy Matt and supervising Shiro, instead of finding your way outside into the crisp evening air. It felt like you could breathe finally, although you suspect part of it was because you no longer felt the crushing pressure on your chest of hiding your feelings for Keith. In fact, you realized with delight, you could now… “Hey, Keith?” You stopped on the sidewalk, with him by your side, eyeing you curiously. “Can I try something?”
“Okay?”
Letting the last of your nerves roll off of you, you took your moment of boldness and leaned up to press a chaste kiss to the corner of his mouth. Keith startled, after a moment his hand left yours, instead, finding purchase on your waist to tug you closer. “(Y/n), can I try something?” His voice was barely audible, but it still sent shivers through your spine.
“Okay.”
He smiled softly before moving to capture your lips with his own. The kiss was tender and filled with love. His inexperience showed, but it was endearing and you found yourself leaning in to kiss him again after he pulled back. You were left breathless under the lamplight, grinning just as brightly as that day on the playground when Keith first agreed to be yours. And now that he’d agreed once again, well you couldn’t be any happier.

(this is definitely not the mod for this blog who needed somewhere else to post this idk what you’re talking about) Paladins x reader tea meme!
(ah yes hello stranger)
For the tea meme, (created by @bite-sizedfe), I’ve chosen rosehip tea, green tea, and English breakfast tea. The questions that correlate with these teas are down below. And for the Paladins, I’m including all six of them (Allura, Keith, Lance, Pidge, Hunk, and Shiro)
rosehip tea 🌹 (how romantic are they? How do they show affection to their S/O?)
Keith
definitely not the connoisseur of romance but don’t mistake that for insincerity
he’s the guy that doesn’t go into theatrics; but makes sure to perform meaningful gestures
flowers for an anniversary or birthday
gifts that hold an incredible amount of significance
road trips all over Earth, listening to rock music and eating fast food
cozy, unexpected moments of intimacy, especially at home doing regular tasks like cooking or cleaning, are the norm with him
Lance
do you want a man that takes you on extravagant dates? you’ve found him
this boy goes all out for you
cleans all the way up, looks so handsome, and constantly showers you in compliments
concerts, broadway shows, walks in scenic parks, fancy restaurants, etc. anything that’ll put a smile on your pretty face
and you’ll totally rest your head on his shoulder
and he’ll take a moment to wonder how he’s so lucky
Hunk
more low key than Lance, more extravagant than Keith...a happy medium if you will
he will absolutely cook for you
dancing in the kitchen
watching movies all night long
getting to that point of sleepy where you giggle at everything
cuddles cuddles cuddles
Shiro
pretty traditional guy
a lunch date filled with conversation
or a simple trip to the store
if he’s with you, he’s happy
will buy you flowers all the time
always straightforward and vocal about how much he loves you
Allura
Allura wants to explore all the intricacies of Earth, and she wants you to accompany her
swimming in lakes, watching fireworks, or visiting the zoo so she can see the animals of Earth
but she also adores quiet nights in, snuggling or just talking with you
sometimes it’s a night filled with laughter and stories
others it’s a night of content silence and happy sighs
either way, she’s the luckiest Altean in the galaxy
Pidge
literally will spend hours playing video games with you and just having a really good talk
sitting on the rooftop, watching the sunset
tons of museum dates
visiting her family (plus her gushing about how amazing you are to everyone in the household)
midnight meet ups in the kitchen to eat ice cream out of the container while talking about that weird dream you had
trying weird DIY projects that will often fail but be the most hilarious thing in the world
green tea 🍵 (how do they comfort their S/O?)
Keith
he’s actually very perceptive to your emotions and has grown familiar with your mannerisms (plus what they mean)
he’ll always be concerned that he did something wrong, or there’s something you’re keeping secret from him
he will take it upon himself to give you space if you need it (he understands that)
but if you need a shoulder to cry on, he will be at your side in an instant
prepare for a hug
kisses you on the forehead and doesn’t pry for an answer if you’re not wanting to talk about it
totally lets you fall asleep in his arms when you’re done crying/talking/quietly grieving
Lance
many hugs and kisses
affirmations of his love for you and how incredible you are
him being inwardly sad that he can’t wave a magic wand and make you feel better
will do his best to encourage you (and it almost always works - he’s a good cheerleader)
and tries to see things from your perspective...always wanting you to be the focus, not him. He wants you to know he’s listening to you (awww he cares)
will crack a joke and end up making you laugh long enough that the wave of sadness has passed
Hunk
casually slips you a plate of delicious food
looks pointedly at you until you eat it or you talk to him (most likely both)
if you need someone to hold your hand, kiss your tears away, or hold you, Hunk has got you covered
always asks if there’s anything he can do for you (and he’ll do whatever will help you, no questions asked)
totally the guy that gently asks the team to give you space or help you out when necessary
he will give you the best freaking advice
Shiro
how can someone be so gentle? Simply hearing his voice will calm you
offers his hand, will place a hand on your shoulder, or brush back strands of hair behind your ear (as long as you’re comfortable with it)
brings you food, drinks, or little gifts
he is a very wise person who’s been through a tremendous amount of turmoil so he will let you know things will get better
tells you stories to distract you and make you smile
worries about you but never oversteps his boundaries
Allura
instantly recognizes that something is off about you
she’ll quickly finish up whatever she was doing at the moment and then rush to your side
she’ll obviously want to fix things in a split second for you but knows she can’t so she’s content to sit and talk with you instead
similarly to Shiro, she likes to tell you stories that’ll make you smile, or at least lift your spirits a little bit
if she’s out on a mission, she’ll check in on you fairly often just to make sure you’re hanging in there
and when she comes back, she’ll always be there to cuddle with you, humming softly so hopefully, you can sleep and wake up a little happier
Pidge
honestly? She’s kinda unsure what to do
she might distance herself just a little bit at first, though this isn’t intended in an apathetic manner (but it comes off that way)
finally she’ll come to her senses and sit down with you
she’ll offer up a video game or awful joke that will actually make you feel better
she’s definitely blunt and opinionated, but she will also display her more patient and understanding side around you
lets you flop onto her lap and just chill until you feel more at ease
english breakfast tea ☕️ (would they want a family?)
Keith
it’s actually not something he’s thought very much of
he wasn’t sure he’d have a future where that could happen
however, he does have a fairly strong paternal instinct
when he’s fallen in love with you though, the thought of starting a family crosses his mind often
he’d want a child at some point, but not until you were ready to take that step
when you talk about it with him, it’s clear to even the blindest eye that he longs for a family
and when he becomes a father, he does his absolute best for his kid (and for you) every single day
Lance
ohh does this boy want a family
he wants 3-4 kids, maybe even 5
he thinks about starting a family with you a lot so when it comes up in discussion, he jumps on the chance to make it a reality
obviously he won’t force you to do anything you don’t want but he’d be stoked if you wanted kids
large families are very ordinary to him and he loves the adventures and experiences it brings
so when he becomes a dad, he feels nothing but endless joy and love for the tiny life he holds in his arms and for you
Hunk
like Lance, this boy grew up in a large, loving household; and he definitely wants to start a family of his own one day
when you come into the picture, that desire only strengthens
he daydreams about it and eventually confides in you about his want for a large family
he is beyond ecstatic if you reciprocate those desires
how could he not want to have mini yous running around? You’re literally perfect!
becoming a parent is easily one of the most special moments he’s ever experienced; and he couldn’t be more grateful to share that with you
Shiro
to the surprise of no one, Shiro is the kind of guy that sees himself doting over his adorable children in the future
and he loves kids. absolutely adores them
he thinks about having a family with you a lot; and wants it really badly but never pressures you into anything (because he’s a good boi)
when it’s decided that you two will start a family, he is overjoyed (like sobs wracking his body kind of overjoyed)
needless to say, Shiro is a phenomenal dad and partner to you throughout it all
dad Shiro is best Shiro (fite me)
Pidge
not really the mom type
rarely thinks about having kids of her own
but if you want kids, she won’t immediately turn the idea down
it’ll take time for her to warm up to the idea
if she doesn’t, she’ll still spend the rest of her days by your side, loving you endlessly
if she does, she’ll be quite the doting but carefree mother
it’s a surprise even to her but she wouldn’t have it any other way
Allura
while she’s not bad with kids, she’s not overly fond of their constant neediness and vulnerability
it’s all very overwhelming to her
the thought crosses her mind every once in a while but she shrugs it off
if you want kids, she’ll consider it
if you don’t, that’s cool too
and no one could deny that if/when Allura becomes a mother, she will be excellent at it
she’s more maternal than she gives herself credit for
