DP x DC: Cyber Six AU

So Idea, take some aspects of Cyber Six and make it a Danny Phantom in Gotham situation

For those who don’t know, the basic premise is that Cyber Six is the creation of this mad scientist that escaped. She needs a substance that only the bad guy can produce to live and has to fight the creations of the bad guy in order to stop evil plans as well as get the substance. In the comics it’s more of a vampiric feeding. During the day she poses as a male English teacher while hiding her identity from her love interest. The love interest is in love with her as Cyber six, and friends with her as her teacher identity. The whole thing has a lot of trans themes and is totally worth watching the cartoon, but do you see where I’m going with this?

Danny in Gotham, hiding as a teacher by day, and fighting the artificial ghosts Vlad or the GIW send after him by night as Phantom. Gotham doesn’t really have much Ectoplasm, and Danny needs to feed on it. He’d move to a place with more, but Batman is a major deterrent and hiding in Gotham is keeping the people chasing him from coming themselves and risking getting on the Bat’s radar. Luckily, instead of realizing they could starve him out, they send their creations to drag him back, providing a guilt free source of ectoplasm

Danny get’s work at Gotham Academy as one of Tim’s teachers while hiding out. It would be just fine, he has a degree in chemistry and one in engineering. The issue? They gave him an English class, a subject he struggled with in school. Lucky for him while lamenting this fact to a stranger, one Jason Todd, he finds out the other man is a literature nerd and would be happy to go over his curriculum with him. Jason is just happy he has someone to info dump about Jane Austen to while he waits for Tim to get out.

Meanwhile, Red Hood is dealing with the sighting of odd creatures in his territory when he comes across Phantom. The two strike up a friendship while dealing with the threat to Hood’s territory, Phantom gets to feed from the artificial ghost, and so it goes on. 

Jason gets feeling for the mysterious Phantom, While Danny gets feeling for the charming literature nerd Jason. That’s right baby, the love square. They’re in love with their other identities. Meanwhile Tim is dying inside as his teacher is making goo goo eyes at his brother.

He barely heard her when she told him to do it.

His mind had been so far away and he nearly asked her to repeat herself when she spoke up again.

“Take what you want from me, Astarion. Take it, ” she panted, and without further hesitation, he bit her.

His mind went fully crimson as his teeth snapped through her supple skin, fully healed up by magic and hot as the fire of the hells as his fangs made way for her blood. It trickled onto his tongue and he sucked harder, desperate to flood his mouth and fill his aching veins with life.

It was sublime, flowing into him with a rapturous chorus afforded by his vampiric malediction, so many accursed voices crying out in ecstasy as he fed.

He sucked, moaning as she moaned, his fingers moving of their own accord inside of her as his mouth and veins were awash in her warmth, her vitality, the furious song of blood consuming his mind. There could be no better thing than this, no more rapturous thing than a vampire taking the blood of sentience. 

No food, no wine, no sex or any conceivable pleasure could top this sanguine ecstasy. There was no possible way.

So @kuramirocket got me thinking of a Vampire AU for the Mario Bros (while discussing in this post) so I figured I would share some thoughts of how I personally would want it to go:

please note that I am not really a big vampire enthusiast, nor do I know that much about vampire lore. I never got into Twilight, nor have I read Dracula (yet). So I'll only be referring to the basic stuff I know about vampires. For those interested: do with this au as you please :)

- Luigi gets turned into a vampire (whether by dark magic, an item, or another vampire). And it's not long after that effects start to take place (his skin burning in the sun, a taste for blood, the urgent need to wander about in the night). His skin also gets a more pale tinge and his eye colour turns purple.

- Luig tries to keep this hidden as long as possible, but Mario finds out and is devasted. He blames himself for not being able to protect his brother from this. He promises to fix this and help Luigi find a cure.

- After many months of travelling (and trying to keep Luigi's new vampire instincts in check in the meantime), they soon come to learn the truth that there is no cure. Luigi is stuck like this forever.

- Mario, without a shred of doubt, asks Luigi to bite him, so he can become a vampire and live with him in immortality.

- Luigi is of course furiously against this. Why should Mario suffer because of him? His brother deserves much better than this, and he should just forget him.

- Mario gets upset at this and firmly tells him that he wants this. Luigi has done nothing wrong, and if fate is deciding that there is no way out of this, Mario would rather shoulder that with him. They're a team, always together, and he can't bare the idea of one having to watch the other age...

- Luigi finally agrees. They hold each other tight, and Luigi (after some hesitation) bites down on Mario's neck.

- It's so painful. And Mario can feel the venom swarming around inside his body. But he knows it's not Luigi's fault. He holds him closer, trying to communicate via his touch that this is fine, everything is ok, this is what he wants.

- After some time Luigi stops and Mario steps back. He's lightheaded, his skin already turning pale, and his eyes becoming a shade of purple. He also has two bite marks on his neck (which he forever carries around as scars). But he's ok. Mario smiles at Luigi reassuringly, knowing it worked.

- They move far away and live in immortality together, deciding to become dark shadow hunters (to protect innocents) and only live on a diet of animal blood and plant sap.

I'm sure you've heard of vampires being addicted to blood as drugs, but what about the other way around? A soft little puppyboy who was at the wrong place at the wrong time and got bit ever so hard in his cute little neck, and now he wants more. At first he thought it was just the stimulation, then the thrill, and then a hundred other things. But by now, even a stupid little mutt like him knows it's because he's a slut for it. Begging for me to go harder, take more, he doesn't care what will happen to him he just needs my fangs sucking and biting until he passes out.

Mmmmm a stupid mutt like him only cares about pleasing the other person, he couldn’t care less about the pain or how woozy he was getting. He loves the fact that he’s able to give the meanie vampire what they want, begging for them to keep going and using him for their own gain.
