Some of my Quarry headcanons :P

Abi:

She lives with her dad and younger sister, her mom died when she was young and she doesn’t remember her much

Her family doesn’t have much money but her dad really wants her to pursue her dreams of art school, but Abi’s hesitant to leave her dad and sister behind and is worried about the cost 

She’s been working part-time since she was 14 to help out even though her dad tells her she doesn’t have to, and she keeps a bit as savings just in case

She used to have really severe anxiety as a kid and had to have counselling sessions to help with it, she’s on medication now and has the right coping mechanisms but she still has moments where she can’t deal with it (whenever those moments happened at camp Emma or Dylan would take her somewhere quiet away from the kids and help her calm down, she was really grateful for their help and that’s why she’s closer to them than everyone else)

After everything with Nick she still likes him but doesn’t want to pursue a relationship, because sometimes just looking at him brings back the memory of what Not-Nick said and how he threw her across the room (Nick is very understanding about it and they remain friends, even though it does make him sad they don’t talk much)

Some lighter stuff: she was 100& a horse girl from ages 8-14 (maybe she still is, idk ask her about it)

Her first crush was Applejack in MLP but she’s super embarrassed about it and when asks just says it was her best friend in Kindergarten

She has a collection of plushies and they all have names relating to their colour/style 

Her favourite colour is yellow but she doesn't wear any clothing or own much that's yellow because she's worried she'll stop liking it and it'll ruin her life (she's secretly just as dramatic as Emma, and when Emma finds out she's delighted

Playing Stardew Valley on her switch is a part of her daily routine and she’s been working on the same save for 4 years, she’s very proud of it

Totally draws fanart for the media she likes and has a tumblr, but she refuses to reveal it to anyone (even Emma, even though she constantly begs her to tell her)

When she does eventually attend art school she and Emma end up not far from each other and Emma becomes her muse/model for lot of her work (from here they grow closer and date because I ship Blygbank)

Emma:

Her parents aren’t divorced but they SHOULD BE (they’re both cheating on each other and pretend they don’t know, and neither of them know that Emma knows even though she caught them both)

She has an older sister, like 7-8 years older, and they’ve never been close because her sister always treated her like a dumb kid and a rival

Emma always envied the attention and praise her sister got from their parents and tried (and failed) to be perfect like her, that’s why she starts her youtube channel (it upsets her that her parents aren’t proud of it like they are of her sisters achievements)

After the events of the game she has to take a break from posting (even though she loves it) because she gets a flood of comments about her being a murderer despite being acquitted in the trial, and seeing them makes her question everything she did that night

Despite her exterior she’s actually really sweet (only people close to her see that, like Abi, Dylan and probably Laura too) but she’s very insecure and worried that it’ll be used against her

I mean she loves making others laugh even if she looks dumb in the process, come on!!

She never fully forgives Jacob even though she really wants to, and also feels like maybe it was her fault in a way (I don’t think that though, like at all), she acts like they’re cool when they hang out but she still carries it around with her

After school she keeps up her youtube channel and insta presence which pays pretty well, but she also works as a barista because it’s simple and she likes the structure it provides in her life

Emma is such a dog person to the degree that she hates cats (red flag in my book but I still <3 her)

She’s had a few dogs over the years, but right now she has two, a border collie named Griffin and a doberman named Fluffy (they live her parents though and it pains her to be so far away from them, and when she visits them it's’ secretly just to see her dogs)

I like to think she gets over her cat hating grudged eventually when she meets Dylan’s cat and then later she agrees to getting a cat when she lives with Abi (it’s ginger and super grumpy, and prefers Emma to Abi which pisses her off so much but Abi finds it hilarious)

Emma’s a huge swiftie and has all her albums on vinyl (Nick’s also a swifite but is very secretive about it, Emma agrees to keep his secret and go to TS concerts in secret together. Abi figures it out though and is sworn to secrecy)

She wears q specific shade of red lipstick and has been using the same on for three years even though it’s expired and almost completely used up (it’s literally a nub) because the company changed the formula

Laura: if you love the shade so much just get a new on and stop using that gross ball of death

Emma, using that said gross ball of death and rolling her eyes: you don’t understand it’s not the same

Kaitlyn:

She has 4 younger brothers and all of her names also start with K (her mom has a thing for alliterations, don’t ask her about it because one time Kaitlyn did and it was a 5 hour explanation)

Her dad is her role model but they’re not as close as she wants them to be because he’s always busy with her brothers, the reason she knows so much about guns and cars is because she was desperate to do anything with him when she could

Her and Jacob became friends at age 8 when Jacob was on the swings and fell off and knocked two teeth out, Kaitlyn was laughing the whole time she helped him find help and soak up the blood (ever since they’ve been bonded for life)

Kaitlyn is the first person to forgive Jacob after the night at Hackett’s Quarry for breaking down the van and forces him to send her texts everyday to make sure he’s okay

She’s aromantic and hadn’t put much thought into relationships until others around her started getting crushes, she’s totally projecting what she thinks she’s supposed to want onto Ryan and doesn’t realizes it

After the game when she tries dating again she realizes she just can’t and eventually figures it out with some googling

She and Dylan become roommates and she refuses to let him decorate anywhere outside his bedroom because he has terrible design skills, so their apartment is very nice and has a grey and blue colour scheme except for Dylan’s room which is very ugly 

Dylan:

Was a total class clown in high school and always used to get in trouble, and his teachers would always be frustrated because he was so smart when he actually paid attention

Dylan is totally a Brian David Gilbert fan and no one can convince me otherwise

Giant video game nerd, has played most games to ever exist and gets Ryan into it too

He’s obsessed with science and tech but is worried if he works in that field he will destroy his love of it

Miles confirmed his cat is called Schrodinger but he’s definitely a hairless cat and Dylan knits him little sweaters to wear when it’s cold

After the game he’s super sad he can’t knit anymore because of his hand, and he starts rollerblading instead (when he explained the change in hobby to Kaitlyn she said “That is the strangest thing I’ve ever heard. You replaced knitting with rollerblading? Seriously?”)

Later, whilst working as an quantum physicists (turns out he doesn’t hate it) he starts a podcast about horror movies since he develops an obsession with them after what happened with the werewolves

The others guest star on it a lot (especially Kaitlyn and Emma, and Max sometimes too) and Ryan helps him produce it (by produce it’s mostly just moral support, Ryan doesn’t know shit about tech)

He pranks Kaitlyn all the time but it backfires because one time Kaitlyn got Emma, Jacob, Max and Nick to help to set up a prank where Dylan’s entire room was covered in wrapping paper (he still has a few things that are wrapped up because he’s lazy)

Also he’s super terrified of dogs because he was chased by one as a kid and when he met Emma’s dog he almost shit his pants

Dylan: You said his name is FLUFFY????

Emma, genuinely confused: Yeah? Isn’t he the sweetest thing you’ve ever met!

Dylan: No! He looks like he’s seconds away from ripping out my throat!!

Ryan:

His best friend is his sister 100% he loves her so much and would literally do anything for her

When he’s stabbed and Laura offers to bite him he accepts, not because he’s worried about living for himself (if he was only worried about himself he’d decline because the idea of losing control of himself terrifies him) but because he desperately needs to get through the night and back home to Sarah

One of the reasons he likes Dylan so much is because he thinks Dylan brings out the more carefree and fun side of himself, and he hasn’t been in touch with that part of himself since he was young having to take care of his sister and his mom

I think his grandparents are old and his mom is in and out of rehab, so he has a lot of stuff to do and camp was one of those times he got to just be a kid (and being a counsellor just made sense, since he was close with Chris)

Despite knowing it was the right thing to do he's still agonizing about killing Chris for a long time, and even though they’re not super close Laura helps him through it because she was there and really pushed him into it

He does end up studying animation but visits Sarah as much as he can, and soon as he can gets a place of his own and Sarah moves in with him (the place is a small one bedroom apartment, so he sleeps on the pull-out couch and lets Sarah have the room for herself)

He’s just a really good older brother I love him <3

He pretends he’s annoyed that Dylan invites himself over so often but secretly loves having him around, and Ryan couldn’t be happier Dylan gets on so well with his sister

They weren’t close at camp but he becomes good friends with Abi because of their shared loved of art, and they even do a few projects to together and she’s one of the few people he feels comfortable enough to rant about his love of art with

Schrodinger freaks him out but he doesn’t ever dare tell Dylan because he knows it’ll break his heart

He’s also still guilty about cutting Dylan’s hand off even though he told him to do it, but Dylan constantly reassures him it was the right choice and constantly makes hand jokes to make him smile 

Max:

He’s a clean freak and cleans his and Laura’s apartment every Friday without fail (but Laura is super messy and it stresses him out)

He has little spa days on Fridays to recover from the stress

Max, lounging on the bed with a white robe and face mask and candles lit around him, taking a cucumber from his eye: hey babe maybe you should cut back on all the energy drinks

Laura, opening her fifth an of monster today and shaking from all the caffeine, a pile of books and mess on her desk: without caffeine I will DIE I NEED to study

He loves Laura so much but when he sees how she lives without him cleaning up after her he considers his sanity

He goes on to work as a mechanic, but it’s a love-hate relationship because the mess drives him crazy (one time he slipped and got dirt all over his clothes and almost cried about it, Laura had to make him some hot chocolate to calm down)

Also he’s super clumsy, like falling up the stairs kinda clumsy

He refuses to swear because he’s got a little sister (who’s like toddler age) and always has to watch himself, and that’s how we got the masterpiece “son of a binky bonky” (gonna refuse the rest of his swearing in the game lol)

He didn’t spend much of the game with anyone but after he’s closest to Emma and Dylan (no one lets the three of them hang out alone because the last time they did they all ended up in jail and Ryan and Laura had to bail them out, when Abi found out she refused to talk to Emma for two days)

Laura:

Like I mentioned she is very, very MESSY

When left alone she’ll literally forget to shower and build a nest of energy drink cans and food it’s disgusting

On Fridays when Max cleans she refuses to move whilst she studies so he has to clean around her

Max, feather duster in hand: babe I don’t think you need all 10 of these empty diet coke cans on your desk. PLEASE let me clean them up

Laura, 17 hours without sleep and an unknown amount of time without a shower: no these are my lucky cans if you take them I'll fail my exam

Laura, picking up a week old can and gulping it down: besides this one isn’t even empty!

Max, snatching the can away and pouring it out, on the verge of a breakdown: BABE THERES A WHOLE FREAKING ECO SYSTEM IN HERE YOU’RE GONNA DIE!!

She used to be very close with her dad but he died a few years ago and it really messed her up, ever since she's been a little more subdued and Max tries his best to help her

Laura’s very committed and will not stop anything she puts her mind to, even the most trivial things (like Jacob she won’t back down from a dare, one time Emma dared her to climb a lamp post and she did it, they had to call the fire department to get her down)

After the game she becomes good friends with Emma and Kaitlyn, and she constantly tells Emma that she wouldn’t be friends with her if they hadn’t both been through the same hell because Laura despises influencers (Emma takes it in stride and uses it as an excuse to bully Laura harsher)

For some reason she absolutely hates Nick and everyone's confused about it, even herself (poor Nick)

Like she can’t even explain why she just does and Nick’s really sad about it, like a kicked puppy

Laura, sending death glares to Nick whenever everyone meets up:

Nick: I don’t feel safe here….

Maybe I’ll do Jacob and Nick another time because I’m running out of steam lol

COMFORT ITEMS THE CHARACTERS HAVE

And have always had. Not mc giving it to them. (It is sweet but also not rn)

Lucifer- his enchanted fountain pen. It never runs out of ink, and always stays in his inner jacket pocket. After Mammon tried to steal it once, Lucifer was lowkey devastated and couldnt focus on his work. When he got it back, he also enchanted it to return to his pocket if it was left untouched by him for 20 minutes.

Mammon - his jacket. Yes, he's a model and tries new things on but it has to have the potential to go with his jacket...which gets a little more difficult the older the jacket gets. But until he finds a jacket that makes him feel as happy and safe as that one, it is how it is.

Levi - a ruri-chan keychain. Not a special edition or anything, because he holds it a lot and doesnt want anything to happen to it. The colour has faded a few times but he repaints it. He often links it to his belt loop and pulls his sweater down over it so nobody can see, but he can still fidget with it. He also has a blanket he uses while hes gaming.

Satan - he has a small cat stuffy from when he was a baby (Mammons first sewing project) that he keeps under his pillow. Its not something he carries around with him but helps him relax by the end of the day to know at least it will be there for him no matter what.

Asmo - their water bottle. He likes the rubber thing that keeps the lid attatched to the bottle and swings it when he walks. Yeah he could hold his own in a fight but its more fun to swing a metal bottle at someones head. Has like...6 more of them at home. Decorated the outside of it himself in stickers, paint, etc.

Beel - has a cow plushie that reminds him of Belphie. He keeps it with him anytime its possible. Yes, it moos when he squeezes it.

Belphie - obviously he has his pillow, but when he cant lug that around he has a small bottle of never empty lavender oil.

Diavolo - his late mothers brooch. He keeps it pinned on him whenever possible, or carefully placed in a box in his bedroom, in a locked compartment, which he Barbatos always hold the key for. It makes him feel more connected to her, thus more confident when hes made to speak to other nobels.

Barb - another pair of white gloves. He has never stained his gloves, but likes to know he has the safety net of another pair in case anything happens.

Mephistopheles - his boots. You cannot tell me this man does not have killer cowboy boots he wears ALL the time.

Simeon - a white feather, from Lucifer before he fell. He keeps it well hidden and taken care of, often writing with it on his desk as a source of inspiration.

Luke - his bag. He takes it with him everywhere and is fiercely protective of it. He likes to keep his cookbook and other recipes he has yet to write into it stored there.

Raphael - his spear is a given, but also a small cloth he uses to polish the head throughout the day. Taking it away is a death sentence.

Solomon - he has a little spinny gadget he attatches to his belt. Idk where he got it from. I dont think he remembers where its from. But he enjoys spinning it. It serves no function.

Thirteen - she loves her scythe, but its a cool rock. She was lonely for a very long time, ok? She found a very shiny rock with quartz in it, and she keeps it in her pocket. She sometimes talks to it when she needs to vent.

Platonic! All the fluffies! Maybe a bit too much fluff help I’m in heaven I want Cream Unicorn to be my parent.

~| You’re always welcome at their carnival. Always. They don’t mind if your parents watch you or come along, as long as they can see your smile, they’re happy.

~| If you’re ever feeling sad, you can count on them to cheer you up. When they saw how neglected you were, it broke their heart. “How could someone be so mean to a kid?” The practically adopted you after that, though in a very weird way. They’re basically your second parent, even though you stay with your first parents.

~| They will introduce you to a lot of other children at the carnival! You’ll never not have a friend, and even if you don’t get along with other children or just don’t want to be friends with them, Cream Unicorn is always there to be your friend. You may find yourself playing a lot of group games with them and the children, like Duck Duck Goose, Tag, and other things.

~| Cream Unicorn is probably viewed as a free babysitter to your parents, so they wouldn’t mind you going off in the day, as long as you don’t have things to do, to spend time with the unicorn. Sometimes you can sneak out at night to go visit your adopted parent, as well.

~| Cream Unicorn rarely leaves their carnival- someone has to keep it up and running, after all- but they make exceptions for you. They gave you a small whistle trained for their ears, and if you’re ever in a pinch or just sad, you can call them using it. Even when they’re far away, they’ll be there for you.

~| Expect a lot of gifts as well. Mostly unicorn themed- unicorn pens, plushies, treats, etcetera. They may also get you some other things if they’re your style, but they tend to stick to rainbows and unicorns as gift aesthetics, because those represent the innocence of childhood and happiness, and these gifts remind you even more of Cream Unicorn whenever you look at them.

~| Cream Unicorn will take care of you better than your parents ever will. They’ll provide you food, water, shelter, toys, fun, happiness, hope, anything you want they’ll get for you, to be honest. If you see a carnival game with a prize you want, they’ll help you out with it until you achieve your goal! They’ve lived at this place their entire life- which is probably a long time according to their biography- and know all the tricks to winning all the games from pure practice and experience.

~| If something were to ever happen that separates you from your parents, they will always be there to help you out. You may not even have to blow on the whistle to get their attention- they have very good instincts and can, most likely, tell if you’re in danger. Kind of like a spidy sense but it’s a unicorn sense.

~| If you’re ever sad and need to cry or rant, they will always be there to comfort and listen to you. They don’t care if they have to drop what they’re doing to do so- their little child is sad, that is more important than anything in this world, to them.

ONESHOT

There are little things in this world that you care about. It was how you were raised- how you’ve taken the world into view. Unlike most children, your parents weren’t your top priority- nor were they on your too five, or even ten. Sure, they may have created you, but did they ever take care of you?

No.

The answer was no.

And you knew that more than anything.

Your arms shook as you paced your way down the road, through the forest. It was a path you knew well, one you took often. The stone bricks planted in the ground were lined with moss and flowers sticking out, betraying it’s old age, and around the road grew trees with moss hanging so low it swept the ground, and bushes with blue berries so shiny it was like they belonged to the richest, finest soil.

Even though the berries may seem tempting to others, food was the last thing on your mind right now.

True, you were hungry, but it was that type of hungry to where you couldn’t eat- your stomach pained and twisted, yet you couldn’t feel even a hint of longing for the berries.

You closed your eyes as you continued down the road, nothing but the moon’s soft glow through the leaves of the trees and the stars lighting your path. How many nights in a row had you snuck out? You couldn’t remember. It was something like a week or two. You had been going out more and more as of late, to visit what you cared about most.

Or, rather, WHO you cared about most.

You would get in trouble every time your parents found out you were sneaking away in the dead of night, every time you feel asleep during the day rather than your small designated sleeping yours, but that only fueled your longing to go and visit your best friend.

Your real parent.

It had started to rain, small droplets pelting your skin and clothes, but you didn’t mind. Being wet for an hour or so was a small sacrifice you were willing to make to get to see them again.

As you approached the entrance to the fair, a large pastel gate that was more than familiar to you, a figure descended from above, that of a unicorn. It jumped down from the arch, prancing around as it’s hooves clicked and clacked against the hard tile of the road.

It came over to you, pastel rainbow hair shaking out as it brayed, before it shifted into a cookie with a puff of pink smoke.

You smiled, watching as the cookie quickly approached you, a soft smile on their face. “Welcome back! Come on, let’s get under something, I don’t want you catching a cold in this rain!”

You quickly head under the arch, and Cream Unicorn shoes you along until you reach the merry-go-round. You take a step onto it, and the rain was blocked out by the roof of the carousel. Cream Unicorn Cookie had followed after you, and they shook out their hair, squeezing it a bit to get the water out, before turning to you with a small smile.

“Do you want to start it up?”

You quickly nodded, and your foster parent rushed out from under the merry-go-round, towards the controls. They lifted up the small protector, before turning some keys, lifting a handle, and pushing a button. They dropped the protector back down, and quickly got back on the carasal just as it had started to go.

You had gotten atop one of the fake unicorns by now, holding onto the pole that went through the middle of it and connected it both to the top and bottom of the ride. You began to laugh as it swirls and twirls you around, and Cream Unicorn stood beside you, watching you giggle with a large grin.

The Carousel continued to spin around and around, the unicorns, both the real one and the fake ones, twirling around with elegance and grace.

When the ride was finally coming to an end, the rain had turned into nothing but a light drizzle, and the clouds had cleared just a small section in the sky, enough to show the moon and a small handful of stars.

Cream Unicorn helped you off the figure, and the two of you sat on the edge of the ride, looking up past the roof and staring at the stars.

You gave a small sigh, and leaned against Cream Unicorn, your eyes drooping with tiredness.

Your second parent wrapped their arms around you, and covered you with their bright, sparkly cape, as they whispered into your ear.

“Sleep tight, little star. You deserve it. You deserve so much more.”

Have never done anything like this before but I wanted to participate because why not!

Hope I'm doing this right- this is for the RedactedAudio Match-up :)

1 - Ok so I have 2 song fixations, first one is "Used to the Darkness" by Des Rocs and the other is "Morning Coffee" by Chevy and Nalba

For Used to the Darkness the specific verse is the chorus, it's a bit long for tumblr but I'll give my reasoning. I've always loved this kind of rock because it reminds me of the 90s rebellion kind of era and this verse strikes me as 'society has forced me down by its standards and is leaving me in the dust because I've "made a mistake", but I'm going to fight because my life hasn't started yet and I'm too young to simply give up'. Every time I hear that chorus it gives me a second wind of sorts and reminds me to just keep going, to keep being stubborn and to keep being me unapologetically.

For Morning Coffee there is no specific line because I resonate with the whole song lol. I'm a very big coffee addict, like I need coffee or tea every day to make it feel right. The reason being is that it's a small comfort treat to help me feel better especially when some days just aren't the best and I need a pick me up to feel better, even if it's a little bit. I listen to this every morning on my commute and every afternoon on the way back home, it's such a big comfort song that I keep on repeat.

2 - 6! (subtype sp) 3 - I love a good video essay! My favourite ones are a bit niche but I especially love SovietWomble's essay about "The Forest" because it's a deep dive critique and explanation of what happens when lore is added to a game post-release and why it's so important to develop it as a whole rather than doing it in bits as it can be the difference of an amazing or completely underwhelming experience. As someone who writes for fun and loves to play games soley for the lore sometimes, I found it useful to develop and hone my skills in world-building and making my stories more coherent. Also because he did a face reveal at the end BUT THAT'S BESIDES THE POINT!

4 - Gosh I haven't talked about my imaginary friend in a bit, her face evades me but I remember she would always help me sleep or play with me when no one else did (so everyday basically). She always wore a yellow dress and had her hair up in pigtails. I never gave her a name because she never needed one, I just called her 'friend', I miss her

5 - Put on a redacted audio vid and fall asleep to that lmfao (usually a david vid)

6 - I honestly don't know what I'd change my name to, sometimes I just wish I didn't really have a name because my self identity fluctuates so much

7 - Favourite redacted audio, hm, tbh any of David's audios. I find myself always returning to one of his videos but I think I like his camping one the most, I cry every time but hearing the stories makes my heart so full and like I genuinely want to comfort him.

if u can find patterns online to use they will be ur best friend, winging it CAN work but. not always DSGKJ

so there would be a lot to cover but im just gonna gonna start with the tentacles- mine are made from minky but i know ppl who've used like, a more vinyl-ish material? do NOT fucking use satin, i made that mistake with my original agent 3 cosplay and i nearly smashed my sewing machine out of pure rage. satin + minky is SO slippery and no matter what u do the pattern will just, Fuck Up. its why the tentacles were shaped so weirdly :/ so this time i stuck to ONLY minky and the result was way better. i had a friend help with hand sewing em and it meant more control over how the shape turns out so it was way better than my first attempt. (i then used plushie stuffing to give em shape and it makes em sooo fucking squishy n soft)

I FORGOT TO MENTION. the tentacles are safety pinned to the inside of the hat for stability, im not wearing a wig or anything.

eye mask? use eyeliner or body paint! ive done both and they both work well, id recommend using a setting spray tho. and if ur gonna wear contacts like i did, ALWAYS put contacts in before any makeup. this avoids the risk of getting shit in ur eye while putting em in (also my eyes always water a fucktonne lmao) oh and if u use a blind contact, be prepared to have fucky vision whenever ur in cosplay. agent 3 cosplayers stay suffering 💔

if ur gonna hand sew anything, definitely try to use proper techniques. luckily my gf is very good at that kinda stuff and they helped me through sewing the poncho/cape/idk fuckin old rags, i used a whip stitch so the threading isnt visible (im thinking of modifying it to add big thick cosmetic stitches so it looks more game-accurate, same with the patch on the hat)

craft stores are ur best friend for supplies! if ur australian, i highly recommend spotlight and lincraft for pretty much everything. spotlight usually has the most variety in fabric, but i always need to order my minky online. if ur not an aussie, prolly just google which places to go to DSGJ idk what yall have.

but heres my number 1 tip for cosplay- HAVE FUN! i know this sounds cliche but seriously. i sometimes to caught up in my head over little things, like "this isnt game accurate enough" "the colours are off" "people are gonna notice (X)" but cosplay is supposed to be fun, silly, crafting experience, a hobby, but most of all ur just dressing up as a fictional character and what could possibly be dorkier than that? feel free to do things differently, u never need to adhere to canon (i literally did the hijack scar AND i have a face full of metal), being accurate is NOT the most important thing, and of course- body type, gender, skin colour, NONE of these things should stop u from doing whatever the hell u want. the naysayers can go fuck themselves <3

and if u dont have the budget to buy good supplies, theres nothing wrong with a closet cosplay! work with whatever ya got!

I use they/them pronouns and I’m pansexual. my myers briggs type is INFJ and my star sign is taurus.

Im about 4’11..not to happy about it. I’m kind of introverted, and can be considered not a people person. I find life a little nihilistic. I’m into dressing in all black and taking a liking to gruesome and morbid things like slashers, analog horror, death games, true crime, necromancy and anatomy. I typically consider myself a "gorehound". I also like to visit abandoned places just for fun, along with playing quite a few escape rooms. I just have a genuine comfort in the uncomfortable.

I’ve come to the conclusion I just scare people off. In reality, I’m intimidated by everyone around me and find it hard to start taking, which may or may not come off as rude to people.

when I become comfortable with someone I start to become really sarcastic and joke around with them with witty banter. most of my humor comes off really insulting, and I’m brutally honest, but I’ll apologize and say it’s a joke or I didn’t mean it if it becomes a problem. even though I do have a hard time understanding physical social cues.

lots of people don’t like me or stay away from me because of my rude behavior. I’m not good with overly sensitive or overly annoying people at all because of that, and I can’t stand kids. Idiocy can get on my nerves too sometimes. I’m a huge animal person though. I have my moments where I can get really feisty, or very quiet and closed off. I’ve been told I’m also a laidback person. I’ve also been told I never know when to quit, and I find I hold grudges for certain things.

I’m the type of person that has lots of opinions on things but I keep them to myself and bottle them up. If pushed far enough I’ll become unforgiving, and aggressive. especially with the types mentioned above.

I find the most comfort in just being in my room drawing, listening to music ( pierce the veil, deftones, system of a down, slipknot, rob zombie,,, sometimes the radiohead, insane clown posse, jazmin bean or mother mother, etc. ), or even occasionally playing video games, reading, writing, or talking about a random conspiracy theory I have. I do acting in my spare time as a small hobby too, and I’m learning how to play electric guitar.

I’m a plushie maniac and when I fall asleep you can always see me cuddled up to one of them. I find it because I’m really touch starved. Im also a caffeine addict, and I’m guilty of being very submissive and maybe even masochistic- and a bit of a pyromaniac. I dissociate or daydream a lot, so you can often catch me starring.

I suffer from a handful off mental and physical syndromes like adhd, insomnia, asthma, depression and anxiety. These have all been diagnosed professionally, and I’m definitely not trying to make myself "quirky". unfortunately health problems run in my family.

I’m very fidgety, and often bite the inside of my cheek or bounce my leg rapidly. you don’t need to rocmantasize this stuff ofc, but I think it’s good to know so the person can tolerate me.

He's rather enthusiastic to have a partner he cares for so much, but if you've told him or if he's noticed that you'd prefer for him to turn down the hype a little, he'll definitely try to be a little more "chill" about it. He's rather inexperienced, but he's always eager to do his best in any situation, and when it comes to you he tries to bring his A-game and do his best to make you feel happy and loved.

He would absolutely love to learn about new things with you! Despite how he may seem, he's actually pretty knowledgable (when it comes to cybertronian artifacts and history, of course) and a fast learner. That isn't to mention that as a new-comer to Earth, he intends to learn as much as he can about the planet, not only because he thinks it'd be good to better understand the species he's trying to protect, but also out of genuine interest himself.

So if there are any interesting facts about the planet that you'd like to share with him, or books you'd be willing to lend him, you'll be his go-to source for everything there is to know about earth and humans. (A brief callback to one of my other things, this of course means that he'll be calling you whenever he has a question about something, but the more he does it, the more it seems like he isn't actually curious about what he's calling to ask you about, but rather he's instead doing it to hide the fact he really just wants to talk to you.)

And of course in exchange for everything you tell him about Earth, he's going to return the favor (as long as you ask him something he actually knows about)... But with your interest in space, he'd be able to tell you a lot of things about the stars and cosmos, all of which he learned about in the academy and from Alpha Trion while he was a guard at Iacon. Or he could tell you about cybertronian history, or cybertronian customs that he thinks you'd find interesting or funny.

But aside from that, he'd strive to impress you in whatever way possible, but unfortunately that's a bit... Difficult for him, since the first things that come to mind include feats of strength and shows of his fighting capabilities, but due to your dislike of violence, he decides to opt for other means instead. He quite literally searches up "ways to impress your crush" online and tries out the ones he thinks you'd like the most, like showing off his smarts, or showing that he's really interested in whatever's on your mind.

He's also the type of S/O who'd definitely try out stuff that their partner's into, so he's willing to try out a whole bunch of your hobbies if it means the two of you get to hang out together. I'd like to imagine he's particularly fond of listening to you play music, and perhaps he even hums along when he grows more familiar with the tune.

He'd definitely try to help you come out of your shell and he actively encourages you to live life whatever way makes you happy and live life with no regrets. He's also pretty quick to recognize most of his mistakes and make up for them accordingly. He also always emphasizes that he promises to learn from them (and he does for your sake).

Breakdown

He's actually pretty chill and easy-going as a partner. He doesn't usually do any showy romantic expressions of love (unless you like them), but that doesn't mean he takes the relationship lightly. He particularly enjoys just spending as much time with you as he can in your day-to-day lives. You don't have to do anything special like go on dates, he's just perfectly content hanging out with you and doing whatever you can together.

And contrary to how he looks as a "big brutish tough guy", he's actually very gentle and chill when it comes to you. He enjoys joking around and maybe the two of you even have a few inside jokes that you laugh about from time to time.

He's pretty fond of the great outdoors too! And though patrolling may still be tedious work, the scenery makes it all the more worthwhile. Not to mention that it isn't as boring whenever you offer to tag along for the ride. There are other times where the two of you go on foot, and he'll let you sit up on his shoulders to let you get a good view of the area. Or if there are any neat trees you'd want a closer look at, he'll make sure to lift you up there carefully and let you pick a leaf or a flower out of them.

Whenever the two of you patrol sparsely populated areas with lots of wildlife, he'll occasionally point out animals here and there, and he'll sorta make a game out it.

"That's not a dog..."

"What do you mean it's not—oh, wait, it's a horse, right? The horns make it a horse."

Of course he isn't any good at naming the animals he sees, but he thinks that it's neat that you get to tell him what those animals are, or what that plant is, or what that other neat thing is that he saw on the road.

And I feel like he isn't that squeamish or disgusted by bugs, and I think he'd find beetles or any kind of resilient or strong bug super cool despite their miniature stature.

Animals aside, Knockout once recommended that Breakdown should take you out to the theater, saying that it was a romantic thing that humans do. So you can expect drive-in theater movie nights to be a frequent thing from time to time. He'll let you sit in his cab and he parks somewhere with a good view of the screen. He claims that he doesn't find horror movies all that scary, and actually nitpicks at the actual details themselves, but from time to time you'll notice the subtle way his frame begin to shake and his tires twist during some particularly scary scenes... Tease him about it if you will, but not once will he ever admit to being afraid.

And also if you're ever interested in learning self-defense, he definitely would step up and offer to teach you how to punch people in the face. "You never know when it'll come in handy" is what he says to justify it.

He's not usually someone who gets hyped over gifts. That doesn't necessarily mean he doesn't like them, it's just that he's never received many gifts before, so he doesn't truly understand the hype around them. But once you come around and give him gifts, he gets around to understanding the appeal. He gets happy and a little excited whenever you bring him something, and he also tries to get you gifts to return the favor! But given his situation as a giant robot, he can't exactly do that for you, but what the two of you could do is check out old junkyards to see if there's anything neat to take.
