FINALLY got around to doing a slight redesign for wren and figuring out how i wanna draw her SO HERE SHE IS !!!

if u don't know her yet here's my stardew valley expanded based farmer oc her name is wren <3 she's a half witch who isn't very good at magic, but is more capable than people tend to think.

the only person who consistently believes in her and has never doubted her is her father, alejandro, who is an experienced adventurer based in pelican town. he is well known in various guilds (specifically the castle village guild) for not only his physical strength and mastery of the sword, but his optimism and abilities as a natural born leader. since he's a member of the guild in pelican town, he'd often bring wren to town since she was a little girl all the way to the present day.

on the other side, wren's mother, dolores, is much more critical of her and has had high expectations of her since childhood. she expects wren to practice her magic by the book and strive for perfection. protective and often overbearing, dolores wants wren to remain in their small town without consideration for her daughter's desires. the two of them bond over their love of fashion and dolores often spends a lot of time making clothing and accessories for wren to wear by hand.

as much as i want to make this an infodump about her Lore, i don't wanna give away too much bc i wanna do vague art about it first !!! she has 2 very good reasons for running away to the farm and is quickly overwhelmed as she tries to adjust to her new life and make money. she isn't gonna quit though because she doesn't wanna have to do the Walk Of Shame back home and admit to anyone that she couldn't do it. thankfully some of the townspeople (marnie, marlon, pierre, gus, linus) are familiar with her and help her out in her first few weeks.

i don't have a clue what isaac's backstory will be like but the idea that he and wren are childhood enemies is drilled into my brain LMAO. they haven't set aside that childhood beef because when they reunite as adults they're still snarky and hostile towards each other. isaac thinks she's a spoiled nepo baby who has only gotten accepted into the pelican town guild + is being considered for castle village entry because her dad is so cherished in the scene and he thinks they can't outright say no to her. he also believes that she's not cut out for Adventurer Life™️ and that she should just stick to farming and failing at magic or whatever it is she does. wren can also be very reckless (she gets it from alejandro) which isaac believes can possibly put not only herself but other people in danger (Valid Point). wren is stubborn though and is sick of people doubting her. isaac has never been particularly nice to her in the first place so why should she listen to him fr !!! however things happen and they eventually smooch so ?!?!?? enemies to lovers.

i will fucking miss crystalklances every single day of my life he was a PILLAR. i wish he had kept his account and just abaondoned it but im grateful at least that he only orphaned his fics and didnt delete it. he had so much to write about the college scene and soft klance and them being tender and soft and open about it!! he also often gave keith parents and he almost ALWAYS wrote trans lance like he invented the tag!! crystalklances i miss you and this was one of my favourite fics of yours

secret relationship you will ALWAYS be famous. its literally my favourite trope idc!! and this arc made SO much sense in terms of a reason for them to be dating in secret!! i loved how the team was the problem but that was very much not their intention but it made sense why klance was afraid and just...this whole fic was cinema truly i love it so so much

Of all the paladins, Lance knew Pidge was the one he had to watch out for. The only time her guard was down was after she woke up. She didn’t talk, glasses discarded after long hours staring at a screen, and she couldn’t function properly without her daily cup of coffee-equivalent alien juice. Which was why, when he wandered into the kitchen that morning, Lance hadn’t expected Pidge to zero in on him and ask, “When did you and Keith start fucking?”

But on a trip so perilous, they'll need to pay attention-- It isn't just their relationship that's on shaky ground.

This is probably more suited for Johnny than Angela but hear me out: Angela growing up selectively mute (she didn’t know tho that’s what it was). She was very very quiet growing up- like eerily so. The only time she ever really talked was around Curly or Tim. Most of the time she stayed quiet, and if she DID want something she would point or gesture to that thing.

Curlt didn’t seem too bugged by this cause it meant he could talk more. He and Angela can have full on conversations by just her nodding,humming, or gesturing, and he’ll get EXACTLY what she means.

It’s not that Angela didn’t WANT to talk per say, she just preferred to observe. I think she eventually grew out of it when she got older and realized if she wanted something she had to work for it using her words. But the only time she ever really talked was to insult someone and when she did her words had a BITE to them. People around her had to do a double take.

That being said whenever she’s REALLY upset she won’t yell or anything. She’ll just get really really quiet in a way that makes everyone tense.

Are you able to explain the incident people are referring to with Max “not letting” Perez pass? I have seen posts where people say that is what made them lose respect for Max and I’m very confused. Why would teammates have to let each other pass? Is this why Checo fans boo Max?

hiii baby welcome glad to have u. Well I think its easier in this case to talk a lil bit about the politics of 'team orders' before we tackle Brazil since u said ur new to f1 and everything .

So f1 IS very much a team sport above all else. Everybody who wears the uniform is working towards one singular objective which is maximizing team results. Ig u cud say f1 is a collective effort based on individual performance. Drivers setup their own cars, choose their own engineers and mechanics, manage their own tires, run their own races and fight for their own points, but everything always represents the factory and shud always benefit the team. This is why you'll often hear about 'team orders' , which are basically like instructions from the pit wall that require drivers to do something that deviates from their independent strategies. Letting a teammate by without defending is a team order. Usually it happens because the other driver has better pace, they can finish higher in the standings, or just because they need the points. Now, the incident ur referring to, Brazil 2022. Idk if u watched the 2022 season or not but by the Brazilian gp Max had already won his 2nd title and rbr had constructors secured too. Which left checo wid his .. shaky .. p2 and sharl only a few points behind still very much fighting for it. Listen that whole gp was like a fucking concussion my head still hurts. Kmag piped Max for pole (((????))), Max and lewis did their thing literally lap 1 and I cried, george russell won bro just awful. But anyway last lap of the race max and checo were p6 and p7 respectively and rbr decided they wud prioritize checo in his fight wid sharl so they asked Max to switch positions. And Max said no. Not only bro said 'no', he told the team they'd already discussed it, and not to ask him again. Its cunt fr but its also like completely brutal and it kinda implies something else was going on. Either way, it meant Checo and sharl were on equal points heading into Abu Dhabi. Ultimately Checo lost that race too and finished p3 in the standings. A lot of checo fans c Max as the reason that happened, and Checo himself said a lot of nonsense that helped fuel that fire ((he later said he regretted it but yk its never the point)) There was a lot of vitriol in the media from both sides, a lot of speculation about 'why' it happened. The people who say they 'lost respect' for Max after Brazil are either cappign or like literally had never watched Max race before. Bro was refusing to comply wid team orders in 2015 fresh out of womb literally two race starts to his name. But he did so because he didnt think it was fair like its not just him being messy or whatvr. So why did he refuse to switch positions in Brazil?? Running theory goes back to Monaco that same season. frfr, idk how people abandon their pets. i’m literally so attached to every animal ever. i see a stray cat at a park and i’ll think of them forever and worry about them too. and people who don’t spay their cats and expect them to be outdoors are such assholes. i’ve had to spay/neuter 10+ cats due to overpopulation in the last two years and i have four more females to go (excluding my own 8 out of 9 cats). it’s insane and so so so sad. the fact that they took off the collar is so stupid too. it really sucks. i cannot comprehend.

this is from the ship ask game but I decided to make this it's own post bc danorge is special okay? okay.

first of all, an ideal daniel ship for me is always him being a perfect babygirl and being treated accordingly. just like I would. he's my country wife, my baby boy, my hot piece of ass and he needs to know is. now, george is the perfect man for this.

the dynamic

I'm gonna be honest, this ship sort of snuck up on me, I didn't expect it to take off quite as much? like, I know Daniel likes the young guys, bc he likes fucking around and fucking with them bc they think he's fun and look up to him you know? he likes the peer pressure. and george didn't seem the kind of guy to be that subjectible to this bc he's always been very focused, correct, driven, etc. although as I got to know him a bit better I realised he does like some shenanigans (eurotruck with charles you will always be famous.).

anyway, I think one of the reasons why their friendship grew so well is that george is so incredibly earnest in his admiration of the people around him, and fiercely loyal. I think george would never be that guy who has to act cool around his friends. he's the type of guy to hype his friends up to others, and that's what he does with Daniel. like that post that goes sth like hyping my boyfriend up before he enters a room like you better clap for my specialest little boy. that's literally george with daniel. that's his babygirl, his country wife.

now, I think that perhaps daniel liked the way george engaged with his banter from early on, like when he asked for his merch, I mean that was still fanboy ish behaviour, but more recently, when Dan struggled, he was so so loyal and always defending Daniel to the press, I think he really did become a close friend. emotional support brit. like I said, george is really really loyal, you can see that in his other relationships with drivers (alex and lewis mainly) and it seems like he's really a safe person for daniel. I mean look how danny clings to him. adorable. (sth sth the child in me is safe with you etc). I just love seeing how genuinely at ease dan seems in every interaction with george..

I'm probably not gonna call her by her name, since she has the same name as another OC you regularly interact with (Rosemary is a popular name I guess lol, I swear I named her king before I found ur blog, she was created a few years ago-)

She was the result of Offender trying to get some ah... private time.... behind his rose bushes. They weren't normal flowers, so they kinda just... took his dna and ran with it. 9 months later a baby with bright ginger hair bloomed from a flower. I'm not joking, she's half plant, lil blossoms are seen in her hair for a few weeks each spring.

I agree that offender wouldn't be a good dad. In my canon, his kid was half raised by her uncle Splendor, which led to her being MUCH more sweet, caring, and wholesome than her father.

She grew up to get married and have 4 very strange looking children. OFFENDER GETS GRANDKIDS HA!!! One of them actually took after him. She's 16 and uh.... doesn't make good decisions.

I'm thinking about going off of anon in order to send you a drawing of the offender child.
