The adrenaline violently coursed through his veins.

Eyes fierce and wild, wounds bleeding, his gargantuan prey frenzied and frightened, he finally felt alive. The creature in front of him was bleeding badly, hamstrung, wounded, he and his companion had been toying with it. His taloned gauntlets dripping with his prey's blood, he aimed another precise, violent slash at it's neck.

It recoiled, a furious guttural sound leaving it's throat.

Snapping it's jaws at The Beast, Paola took the chance and lunged, biting as hard as she possibly could on it's wounded leg. The thing's serpentine neck squirmed before whipping around to grip Paola in it's deadly jaws, but she was already gone.

The Beast took the opportunity to deal the final blow; ripping it's throat open.

One last spasm, a death rattle, and the massive Hydra fell limp, bleeding out into the sands of the desert. He looked over the work of himself and his companion. (”Too easy.”) he thought to himself, more in empty dissatisfaction than in anything resembling “proud.“

The adrenaline subsided. The blood dried. He felt empty, again.

He crouched down in front of the creature's mouth, carefully removing two of it's most fearsome fangs. One, a personal trophy, the second, Paola's newest toy. And after skinning some of it's remaining usable hide and taking the more intact, and delicious cuts of meat, his mind began to wander on the walk back.

He thought of nothing particularly coherent.

His and his tiger's footfalls left prints behind in the soft warm sands.

He thought of when he used to feel something.

The warm sands gave way to harder sandstone, dirt and grasses.

He thought of how useless, meaningless, all this- being alive, felt.

Hours had passed.

Stuck in his head, his feet lead him down the rest of the path back home instinctively.

He thought of the ways he'd numb himself again.

Usually, he'd feel some amount of relief upon entering his lovingly cluttered home.

The amber light of his favorite lanterns hanging from the ceiling illuminated the red, orange, and gold colors of loved trinkets and fabrics strewn about the house.

He looked over his extravagant bed, cluttered with all manner of patterned throw pillows, a few larger deep red pillows he'd actually use. The black sheets were unmade- Had been that way, for two weeks now. It had been a long time since he cared to relax.

His trophy cabinet stocked full of fallen foe's fangs, horns, scales, furs, armor, jewelry- It all felt like nothing as of late.

His liquor cabinet, filled with his favorite, very expensive whiskeys, rums, and a few wines, was the most used thing in his house. This was always the case, but it was a hindrance during weeks like these.

No relief came.

He put everything from his hunt in it's rightful place, threw Paola her new toy- which she happily caught, wandering off to curl up in her favorite sun-tanning spot. His mind had turned against him the moment he had killed his latest hunt and the fight had ended.

Huffing a sigh, grabbing his medicinal supplies, he mended his wounds with the bare minimum. Disinfecting with his favorite alcohol, taking a swig, wrapping them in bandages that he'd remove sooner than he should. He could feel nothing. He washed, dried, and polished his custom-made gauntlets. Only danger felt like anything these days.

This sort of habit had become far too common as of late. He couldn't make himself care whether he lived or died. (”What would Zefiro think of me, if he caught me thinkin' like this- In this state.“) he thought to himself, pained at the thought of Zef worrying over him- Worse yet, scolding him.

Rolling his shoulders, a habit of his, he attempted to banish the worst of his thoughts from his mind. He sipped more of his favorite whiskey straight from the bottle.

Too tired to hunt anything else.

Not the kind of tired that allowed for sleep.

He could think of only one reprieve;

more alcohol, and sex.

Hello there. I'm Dan. I am 23 years old. My house is in Venezuela. My home is in Toronto, and I am ideologically opposed to the institution of marriage. I do software stuff for a living but my passion is game design, and it feels very weird to say "design is my passion" in light of memes but I'm committing to it. I am now deviating from the Yoshikage Kira monologue to let you know I'm a queer anarchist, a kinky hedonist and AuDHD. Extreme Omnisexual: Label of convenience is bisexual, I have a preference that varies depending on mood but I will flirt and engage in Casual Kink with a really broad range of anything which falls under the Harkness Test.

Marry Them All: I'm polyamorous, this is my preferred solution to any love triangle real or fictional. The expectation of monogamy makes me actively uncomfortable and I think monogamous people are really insecure.

Ambiguous Gender: Gender is weird, use whatever pronouns you want I'm not your boss.

What is this thing you call "Love"?: I am not straightforwardly aromantic but I have some trouble relating to traditional ideas about romance. I've heard this be labelled as Nebuloromantic or Idemromantic (yes the trope choice is problematic when applied to real people bear with me)

I occasionally post about politics. I am sex positive, queer positive, and an anarchist and these are my main political priorities. But that's not the main purpose of this blog so I won't elaborate unless I'm actually posting about that. I might get into a slapfight if something makes me mad on my dashboard and for that I am sorry.

1. Why did you choose your url?

I've actually never seen Marie Kondo's show or read her books or anything. But the idea of keeping things that spark joy, that struck me. I had deleted my rather large previous blog (it was a FFXV blog) and started over. I needed something new. New and pretty much completely anonymous. And I was going to post everything that makes me happy :) And now I make others happy, too! At least that's always my goal/hope.

3. How long have you been on Tumblr?

Honestly? I don't even know. I've been on and off for years. Since at least 2015. I think I had blogs before that, though.

5. Why did you start your blog in the first place?

Connor with swag glasses just reminds me of this nerdy android who thinks he's cooler than he is, and I vibe with that.

It's a still from Fallout New Vegas. You climb this super high crumbled building to find a hidden cache up top where this dead dude is hanging over the window with the message "I feel fine" on the wall next to him. It's just....so perfect. It was so funny to me the first time I found it.

Spring 2020 Event Announcement

Spring, the universal mating season, is upon us and in celebration of the frenzy that is stirred by the need to claim a mate, this event will be a free-for-all claiming!!! 

Fertile prompts submitted by the public will be presented for participants to pursue, but remember, you will have competition, so choose wisely, but also quickly, to be the one to seed your intended with your writing talents!

Sign-up for participants are open now and will close on February 28th. 

Also, starting immediately, asks are open for the public (and anons) to submit prompts. This will remain open year round to accumulate prompts for future events! 

Some rules for participants to keep in mind:

The sole purpose of this event is to disrupt the status quo of the A/B/O trope, so try to think outside the box!

Minors may participate, however nsfw/nff content created by a minor will not be accepted.

Writing teams are allowed, however a team cannot be more than 2 people for this event! You are not obligated to remain as a team or even remain with the same partner throughout the event if you do not wish to.

Claims will open April 1st and will remain open for the duration of this Season’s event (May 31st)

Claims must be submitted via the form you receive, claims submitted by any other means will be disregarded.

You may claim more than one prompt if you feel so inclined. However, you may only claim a max of 3 unfulfilled prompts at one time (as you fulfill prompts, you are more than welcome to come back and claim more until the end of the season) and each claim must be submitted in its own, separate form.

If any claimed prompts are left unfulfilled by the end of the season (May 31st) the holds on them will be considered forfeit and they will return to the pool of available prompts for future events.

Fics must be at minimum 1k words (for teams, 2k minimum), Moodboards must have a minimum of 9 pictures/gifs and be accompanied by a drabble of at least 150 words (350 for teams), and art must at least be a clean lineart.

HELLO AND WELCOME TO KPOP MARCH MADNESS: SEPTEMBER  SONG ALBUM SHOWDOWN

I have made what I hope is a cohesive tutorial on how to fill out your brackets and whatnot. If you do have any further questions, please feel free to message me and I can always help out.

But FIRST, why am I doing this again?

We lost all our concerts for the year (ty stray kids and eric nam for being the only in person concerts I got this year), I lost the opportunity to do poorly in the actual college basketball March Madness and we all need a tiny bit of fun in some form this year! All without having to actually leave and it is SUPER low stakes.

 In fact, I do all of the work and you guys just campaign your little hearts out for your favorite album because the more votes (voting will take place on a google form, which will be covered later) the better and it makes the races more fun for me to watch.

The idea of a fandom March Madness started from a livejournal community waaaay back in the day and I never did well in that either lmao so the idea is 1,000% not mine originally.

tl;dr I participated in this back on LJ in the 2010s, it was fun and low stakes, I added the prize element in the middle of the March Edition.

WELCOME TO MY WORLD LET’S DO THIS

For purposes of this tutorial, I’ll be using a shortened version of the March Madness bracket.

Step one.

I will send you a link to the main bracket which is being done through Google Sheets, what I need you to do is to make a copy and title it [YOUR NAME]’s Bracket and then fill out the entire thing and then share it with me with editing access. I will most likely be making a copy for myself but I will only be editing yours to strike-through the loser of the round and bolding the winner so you don’t have to! Once you make the copy and shared it with me, all you have to really do from there is sit back, relax and vote/promote. 

The first bracket, I believe it says Round of 64 on the bottom tab is the one we will be using!  

Step two.

Below is what the contenders list looks like! In the case of song showdown, it’s done in groups and then ARTIST - ALBUM TITLE. This gets generated into the brackets!

Step three.

Click on the little check box for the choice you want, it will automatically move that choice to the next round.

Here it is again with the entire second round picked out, notice that nobody has been selected yet for the following rounds

Step four.

Repeat what you did in step three for the remainder of the rounds. Pick your favorite for each round and then repeat until it’s all filled out and you get a champion, your champion. The pick you know is that bitch and everyone else is wrong.

Step five.

Vote! How? You say? I will be obnoxious for approximately 3 days with reblogging a link to a google form where you can cast your votes.I’ll be tagging you in the initial post so you don’t get surprised when you see it the fifth time and your name suddenly has appeared. Share that post, bribe your friends, family, dogs. Campaign if you want! If you do campaign I will reblog it and come up with a tag to follow so you can see the cool campaigns. If I was graphically inclined I would do it for you but...I’m not. Anywho

If you look at this spreadsheet, you’ll see how many points each round is worth and how I let the spreadsheet do the math from there.

FAQ (these questions aren’t frequently asked but they could be)

1. March Madness made sense, why are we doing albums when it’s called September Song Showdown?

I was going to do this in April as a song showdown and now I realize it could have been April Album A-Something, but albums are easier to pick than songs and it’s September now. Maybe next September it’ll be a song Showdown.

2. You mentioned prizes???

Yes! I had a couple of friends who aren’t into kpop participate and I bribed them with a prize if they won and stuck to it when @chocolatspring won! Even though Gaby didn’t get her prize until like 2 weeks ago but it’s fine, I’ll be more on top of it this time just in time for the December holidays!

3. How do you know who goes in what spot?

Random.org/lists! I shuffle them 5-10 times and then go through and put them on the main spreadsheet, shown above in the actual tutorial.

4. How do you figure the points?

Spreadsheets, baby! Each round is worth a certain number of points, each album you pick that goes on to fight the next round will earn so many points, those points are then added up and triple checked before I put them on a separate spreadsheet. The spreadsheet does the math from there. 

5. I won, so now what?

Congrats! You have the best intuition and convinced enough people to vote for your fave! On top of being announced as a winner on the final post, I’ll message you and you let me know what your choice of prize is (an album of your choice, a gift card or something else).

5.2 Wait, is this free?

20 bucks, venmo me. Kidding. The only person this will end up costing money for is me. Which is why when I say an album of your choice within reason, I mean I’m not going to say you're limited to a price range, but like...I can’t do a crazy expensive album.

6. What happens if I end up tanking just after the first round?

There’s no coming back after a bad round so welcome to...a second chance bracket! I don’t know how to do that yet, but you can continue to vote, promote, whatever your heart desires, but there will be a small thing I haven’t figured out yet for the person with the least amount of points.

7. Are you participating?

Yes! I don’t gain or lose anything from this so my points don’t really count. So if I do end up winning, the next highest amount is the actual winner.

8. Just to be clear, can people not filling out the brackets vote in the polls?

Yes! Share it on your twitter, reblog the post on your tumblrs! The more votes the merrier! Heck, I got my mom to play in March and showed her pictures and she chose based on that alone for her voting. 

9. How long is each voting round going to remain open?

5 days. Rounds will be open Monday-Friday, I will make the initial post Monday and share it again throughout the day, a reminder on Wednesday and then finally on Friday with plenty of time before the form closes. Results will be shared Saturday afternoons and I will spend Sunday getting the new round ready.

I would also appreciate if you would avoid liking my posts excessively for the same reason. Please note that reblogging my threads or ooc posts/headcanons will result in an instant 12 hour block, as these tend to lead to long reblog chains that become extremely annoying on my feed. Please reblog memes from the source. It’s pretty discouraging to reblog a meme and get no responses. Do not do “reblog karma” either, just get it from the source even if you sent a meme. It makes it easier for people down the reblog chain to find the source too.

Also please refrain from reblogging headcanons or ooc posts as well unless you have been tagged in them.

Please send in the emoji and what it means when sending a meme. It makes my job easier when trying to format the silly thing.

Please continue ask-starters in a separate post. However, if you’re on mobile, I can do this no problem.

I try to cut threads at about four reblogs per post. It’s fine if you prefer less, I will abide by that if you have a rule.

If I’m completely clueless about your fandom I won’t follow back, but I am willing to learn if the fandom interests me. Usually 80s/horror/action fandoms interest me the most.

I don’t support racism/sexism/homophobia/transphobia or incest/pedophilia and I don’t want behavior supporting any of it on my dash. I’m okay with threads discussing discrimination as it is an important theme in fiction, but I will not write incest/pedophilia/rape and I won’t follow those who do.

Mains will basically be any people I talk to OOC regularly and plot/thread with the most. To become a main, like a mains call or just drop me a line. If we already get along, I was probably thinking of being mains anyway. I may have more than one main of the same character, so don’t be shy.

Mun and muse are 21 or (much) older and won't be writing with any <18 year olds when it comes to topics of love and comingling (sex, ha). Jenkins is open to all kinds of ships. However, I do ship Jenkins/Cassandra with the understanding that they are equal in power and both well over 18. Because it is not possible to be as old as Jenkins is, I find the fictional age gap to be morally moot, even if it can be called strange. However, because Jenkins is so old, I would prefer not to ship with muses under 30. I may also be nervous about asking for a romantic - type ship because of the age of my muse, so if you are okay with shipping with older muses, please make it clear in some way.

I'm sure this is a question that's asked a lot but how would you advise spreading a writeblr?

Hey there! Yep, I’ve actually been getting a few asks about this,so I think it’s worhty of its own post.

How to spread your Writeblr

I created this new writeblr just short of three months ago, having had a smaller one before that. This blog now has almost 4,000 followers - so here are my biggest tips for y’all.

1. Try and have your writeblr as your main blog

The reason why I made a new blog was because my old writeblr was a side blog. This was fine, however, t meant that I couldn’t follow people acl from it, and when I interacted with people, they only saw my main, and not my writeblr. People are a lot more inclined to interact with you when they see you supporting their page!

2. It helps to have ‘writing/er/ etc in your url

Why? Again, convenience. People know that you’re a writeblr straight off the bat, and can get right to interacting with your account. Not that you can’t ave a successful writeblr without such a url, but its just one of the things that can help.

3. Try to stick to writing content

Not your deal? That’s fine. But if you want your blog to gain, you’ll need to post what people want ot see on writeblrs - writing content, advice, asks, etc. It helps to streamline your blog and keep it focused. If people become disinterest in your log, they might unfollow.

4. Post some original content

It’s your original posts that often reach a wider audience, allowig them to see your blog. I definitley don’t get to make a long original post everyday, but when I do, I put effort into it so that it appeals to people, and so that I can give them the best advice possible.

5. Continue to grow as a writer

Keep reading, keep writing, and keep improving. The better your writing is, the more people it will reach. The better of a writer that you become, the more people you can offer advice too! You’re never too good to stop improving.

6. Theme your blog

This is so that when people view your blog, it looks professional. I have no idea how to properly do it, but I followed a tutorial from @cog-writes Here is a post of theirs about making a page

7. Tag your posts

When you post, you’ll have an options to add # down at the bottom. If you choose the right ones, you can reach a wider audience. People will look for content, and your blog will come up, even if they don’t follow you. These are some popular tags - #writers #writeblr #writing advice #writers on tumblr #writing community 

8. Make an introduction post!

New writeblr? Make a post introducing yourself to the community, and ask people to reblog it so that you an follow them. This is a really great way to meet new people, as people are really welcoming!

 9. Most important til last - Be frickin nice

Make friends!! Talk to people!! Ask them about their brilliant WIPs!! Compliment said brilliant WIPs! Don’t be afraid to e the first one to message - pretty much everyone in this commodity is so nice and welcoming. Remember that it’s not about how many notes or followers you have, but the people you’re getting to meet on tumblr. On tp of that, no matter how many followers you get, remember that you are never ‘too good’ for anybody else on this site.

Gabriel had fallen asleep again, which was honestly for the best.  Your trip had taken longer than anticipated once you got into the heart of the country.  Winding, one-lane roads replaced interstates and highways, making it tough to make good time when you became stuck behind slower cars.  

The route itself became more scenic. The only things you passed anymore were lakes, rivers, trees, and the occasional small town that broke up the stretches of untouched countryside.  Maybe Gabriel would have enjoyed the landscapes, but you had a feeling the monotony would have only made him crawl out of his skin.

You had just passed through the last little pocket of humanity left on your drive when he began to stir.  He ran a hand over his face, his fingers continuing up through his hair. It took some time for gold to shake its glassy look as he scanned the surrounding area.  You wondered if he was going to be one of those slow to wake individuals who needed to ease into their day.

After a few minutes he cleared his throat, his voice a little scratchy.  “Anyone else, and I’d be worried about why we’re headed this far into the woods.”  

He didn’t quite sound like he was joking.  

“I have plenty of places to hide bodies that are much closer to Kansas,” you assured him, trying to keep things light.  He let out a soft snort but left things there, drawn in once more by his thoughts or the scenery. You weren’t sure which anymore.  

It took another fifteen minutes before your turn came into view, and you were glad to see the gates had been left open.  You had debated whether or not to come in through the back, but over the river and through the woods seemed the best way to arrive without drawing attention.  Your current plates were from Arkansas, an unusual state to be visiting up this far. You hoped your friends still kept an extra set of local plates stashed in their barn to help you blend in.

You eased your way onto the long, sloping driveway, taking your time to scout what you could see of the grounds on your way up.  When you crested the hill, the treeline broke and the inn came into view. It looked so different from the last time you were there.  You were used to thick woods, lush lawn, green as far as the eye could see.

Everything had become faded, muted now that autumn’s colorful song had passed, leaving only brittleness and bare branches behind.  A number of tall pines was the only spark of color along with the bright white siding of the structure itself, and you imagined it must be quite the sight to behold in the fall when the leaves turned.  

The snow would come, however, and change the barren view before you.  There was that dry, winter nip in the air that promised soon.  A series of aches flared throughout your body, and you weren’t certain if it was due to just the thought of a winter storm, the result of your long drive, or if it was another set of memories unlocking beneath your skin.  

Nothing good had ever brought you here, yet you felt a sense of calm as you neared the building.  You had spent more time in this place than any other over the last several years. It might have been as close to home as you came.  

“We’re staying here?”  Gabriel asked, wide eyes painting his words with disbelief as he stared up at the structure.

You could only imagine what he expected considering hunting didn’t really go hand in hand with having any tangible resources.  He’d probably envisioned some run down, oversized house that tried to pass as habitable.

Red and Roxy weren’t your average hunters, however, and, in Gabriel’s defense, this place was more impressive than your standard inn.  The architecture was a mixture of a few traditional New England styles with modern additions, and the building itself was a combination of a three-floored original structure and a two story addition that had been added along the side in a way that made the structure appear to wrap around itself.  

The guest rooms were located in the original half, with each room having its own window.  The newer wing was where your friends lived, having renovated it from storage into an apartment so they could live on site.  They also added a wraparound porch that ran along the front entrance facing the east, making it a prime spot to spend the morning.  You could see a few of the chairs still remained, though most had been removed in anticipation of the colder weather.

“Well, I’m staying here,” you teased, inclining your head up at the large, red building you began to pass.  “You’re welcome to sleep in the barn, if you’d like.”

He had no other comments after that.

You parked your car along along the back entryway, content that this side of the property kept your presence shielded from either entrance to the property.  The inside was far different than the exterior. Quiet, dark, and eerie, it looked more like a potential case. It didn’t help that your friends were in the midst of some construction.  

Clean, plastic sheeting hung down across walls and overlaid every doorway you passed.  Most of the furniture had been covered with sheets and the floors removed, leaving thick boards of plywood as the only thing that stood between you and the basement.  You noted that the kitchen, thankfully, appeared fully functional as you passed through the hallway that connected to the main entrance.

You didn’t bother switching on the lights until you reached the front foyer, dispelling the gloomy atmosphere.  The large open area was welcoming, adorned with bright colored wood that gave the room a cozy, rustic feel. The front desk sat off to the side, bare, save for a white envelope with your name across it.  The fact that the script was neat and legible suggested Roxy was the one who had left it.

You picked it up, noting the unusual heaviness to it before you opened the flap.  Inside was an antique key and a note written in the same handwriting.

Sorry about how the place looks - we finally got around to renovating, but needed to take care of a few things before we could finish.  We managed to get one of the rooms completed after you called. Here’s the key. We should be back within a week.

Your brows drew together.  Your friends had no family left (or at least in Red’s case, none that he’d consider family anymore), and since purchasing the inn they made it a point to stay local.  What kind of business could they have that would pull them away for that long?

Help yourself to whatever you need (if you can find it - and if you do, please put it back some place that makes sense since Red’s idea of organization translates to finding the first available place to stash something).  

Your lips pulled up, imagining your friend’s frustration at her other half’s less than stellar ability to keep track of anything that wasn’t anti-angel or barbecue sauce.

Oh and just one more thing - I haven’t gotten a chance to discuss that thing we talked about.  

You frowned.  You didn’t remember any thing, unless...

You know… the large, feathered elephant in the room.  

You knew it.  You knew the moment Red wasn’t there to greet you with a stern nod and Gabriel with a shotgun that she had lost nerve to tell him his mortal enemy would be living under his roof.

You sighed.  What the hell were you supposed to do now?

One cluster at a time.   

You were getting awfully tired of telling yourself that.

We’ll figure it out though, Roxy finished.  We always do.  

Sure you guys did.  Usually after certain words were exchanged, and sometimes certain bullets.  

“Something wrong?” Gabriel asked, his body moving closely behind yours as he peered over your shoulder.  Your instincts flailed as snippets of sensation exploded across your system and--

--white sterile tile, unforgiving fingers digging tight into your skin, your entire body burning, from the harsh antiseptic smell in your nose, to the tears in your eyes, to the heavy rage and betrayal searing through your veins--

--you let out a yelp, clutching the paper to your chest as you spun around.  Hearing his voice was the only thing that kept you from attacking. Mostly. You hit him soundly in the chest, your panic quickly morphing into anger.  

“Yeesh, someone’s jumpy these days.”  The look he gave you contradicted the flippant remark, helping to dampen some of your ire.  

“Of course I’m jumpy, I’m a hunter” you reminded him, hoping to ease some of the worry on his face.  “A very sleep deprived one.”

“Shall we fix that?” He asked.  “Because my next suggestion would be to disarm you if you have other plans.”

You couldn’t tell if he was joking or not.  He still looked more serious than anything, but his words began to shake off some of their stiffness.

“Rule number one: always stay armed,” you instructed.  The only reason you were still alive was because you made sure you had your main weapon, a backup, and a backup for your backup if possible.  

“Hate to break it to you, sweets, but that rule’s been broken from the start,” he replied.  

You blinked once.  Twice. Once more for good measure.  Because it was sure as hell better than unleashing the fury that flowed into your veins.  “They didn’t give you anything?”

“They didn’t even trust me with the toaster,” he said with a bitter smile.

Just when you thought your opinion of the Winchesters couldn’t get any worse.  

You clenched your jaw, hard, probably ensuring that some lucky dentist would be putting their kid through college in the near future.  You reached across your body, unclipping the gun from your side before offering it to him. “Every other bullet in this is a devil’s trap.  You can have it until we get you your own.”

He looked impressed for a moment as he took it from you, testing the weight in his hand before his eyes flicked back up to you.  “What about you?”

You lifted the other side of your shirt to reveal a second weapon.  

“Can’t be too careful these days,” you explained, shifting slightly as that intense look overtook his gaze again. You brushed past him, eager to escape his scrutiny.  “Come on. Let’s go find our room.”  

“Wait - room?” He echoed after a few moments.  You pulled the key out of the envelop and held it up over your head, his footsteps hastily shuffling in your direction.  You braced yourself, waiting for him to make some comment, but he didn’t say another word.

You would have preferred it if he did.  You knew how to handle his jokes; the silence, however, was harder to navigate, especially when there seemed to be so much of it.  

Thankfully your room was one of the first on the second floor, leaving only the short ascent up the main staircase before you found yourself at your door.  You slid the key into the lock, giving it a firm turn before pushing your way in. What you walked into had your eyes growing wide.

The design was a combination of intricate masonry and warm wooden tones.  Unlike the rest of the house, the hardwood flooring was intact, recently replaced but still retaining a rustic, worn look to it.  To the right lay a fireplace and mantel, built from stone and laid into the wall with a small outcropping in front of it, where the spare wood and tools for the fire were stored.  

Both remaining walls had windows, and you realized this was the room that sat in the front corner of the house, giving you the best view of the sunrise and surrounding area.  The incredible scene became lost on you, however, as your eyes remained riveted on the furniture… or lack thereof.

A solitary bed adorned the space, looking out of place with its antique headboard stained several shades darker than the floor and decadent throw pillows and comforter.  You would bet the sheets were just as lavish, and you almost dropped your face into your palm. What were you supposed to do now? There was no way you were going to make him sleep on the floor and your body was in no condition to try and brave it.  

“You know, if you wanted to snuggle, all you had to do was ask,” Gabriel teased, doing his best to give you space as he peered in around the opposite side of the doorframe.  This time there was something beneath his tone, breathing life back into his words and features as he gave you the tiniest smirk.   

“Rule number two:,” you announced, suddenly finding the need to re-prioritize your guidelines. “Keep your hands to yourself…”

Mutuals, Non-Mutuals, Anons all welcome. -Please don’t take it personally if I don’t answer your ask, sometimes things just don’t click. -Starter-memes, unless I pm you and discuss otherwise, generally these are for smaller-format threads. Just to balance out my lengths of things and make it easier for me to get something back to you.

Reply lengths: -I’m occasionally prone to writing larger Multi-Para starters. It’s just my nature. I don’t expect you to match it. Please don’t be intimidated. (But also, typically my average reply length tapers off after the starter for a more reaction-based format. -Multi-Para style is my main tendency writing with an average of 2-4 para replies. Shorter semi-para may occur at times, particularly in dash commentary or shitpost threads.

Reply Frequency: -This is not my primary muse, so I will only be checking this blog occasionally. Consider it low-activity. -When my threads start crowding I queue posts to help stagger replies. -Neither length nor reply-speed is an indicator of my interest level in a thread. Some threads are intended to be larger formal threads while others are shorter that I want to remain light for enjoyment. A varied thread diet is best. -Please do not compare my threads against each other. General Rules:

This blog is R18+ because of NSFW & TWs.

I am mid 20s. My Mun hub-blog, is Rave-RPs and I tend to follow from there first to check out RP blogs so I can keep my specific blog dashes curated to where I think interactions will happen.

This blog is selective, and low-moderate activity I will prioritize mains purely because in my work I have super busy seasons of October to May. In order to maintain activity  I limit the number of threads I take on.

Thread limit doesn’t equal interaction limit! If I’m at my thread limit, I don’t mind having small interactions like asks or quickfire short-replies etc!

Para-style (1-2ish) is my tendency for general interactions. Multi-Para (3+) I save for threads. One-liners to single-Para replies will happen in spontaneous quickfire-interactions, dash commentary or shitpost threads.

Angst / Dark themes / Violence / Death will appear on this blog. If these bother you, Please do not follow me.  Anything verging drastic will be hidden under cuts.

When my threads start crowding I’ll schedule thread releases to help stagger replies. My reply-times can range from same-day up to around two-weeks. (Depending on my backlog) But I tend to aim for a week-average on threads.

If after I’ve replied to a thread I haven’t heard back on it for a month (four weeks) and there hasn’t really been any discussion of the thread OOC between muns in that time, I consider the thread dead. This is so I can open up to other interactions rather than wait for something that may never come. If a thread is dead please don’t just revive it without checking with me first.

If you wish to drop a thread for any reason (lack of muse, stuck or disinterest) you’re welcome to ask me to drop it too. That way we’re open for other interactions without stress! But please let me know, I need closure.

If we are threading I will ask please don't use doubly-small-text for the body of replies. I don't mind specific occasional uses to emphasize things, but if I have to squint to read a whole reply: I won’t. If it’s only a smaller interaction of a few short replies and not an ongoing thread, I don’t mind the use of special formatting small-text, it’s just my eyes and brain don’t cooperate and I can’t endure large amounts of it. It’s nothing against muns or their chosen aesthetic.
