Summary: Its the endgame now and after Tony snaps his fingers you heart seems to drop as you spend your final moments with him on the battlefield and once you return home after everything that's happened you have the difficult task of explaining to your daughter what happened to her father...

A/N: GET THE TISSUES READY LADIES, GENTS AND NON-BINARY FOLKS! Having to rewatch this scene for this was actually so fucking painful and I cried for a good 10 mins. I wanted to do somewhat of a rewrite of this part of the movie but adding my own twist and perspective to it so it’s not a carbon copy of what happened. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND EVERYONE LISTEN TO Everybody Dies by Billie Eilish because holy shit that song really got me in the mood to write this and I even added in some references to the lyrics as dialogue. Snap

That's all it took for your life to change in a matter of nanoseconds. The snapping of his fingers felt like it could be heard around the world as everyone on the battlefield had stopped in their tracks as all the aliens had started to turn to dust. In your heart you knew what happened, you just didn't want to believe it, it wasn’t time yet, you kept telling yourself. Your head turned in Tony's direction and without hesitation, the blasters on your iron suit were immediately taking you right to him, flying as fast as you could. In the distance, you could see Rhodey and Peter right by Tony's side, and without even realizing tears were already building up in your tear ducts.

The metal of your suit clunked on the rocks as you landed knowing that this was it, this was going to be his final resting place. You had played this scenario out in your mind almost a thousand times and every day and every night you feared this day would come and now it was finally looking you in the face. Peter was frantically stuttering and speaking to Tony, you walked up to him, slowly your hands placing themselves on Peter's shoulders. You could hear the pain in the young boy's voice while he spoke.

"Sir...you did it...I-I'm sorry...Tony..." His voice was weak and stuttering to find the words to say as he looked at what he saw to be the only father figure in his life just waste away right before his eyes. The boy was devastated and you slowly pulled Peter away as he tried desperately to cling onto Tony's body, trying to spend every dying moment with him before he was completely gone.

Peter moved out of your way tears in his eyes. You slowly kneeled down to look at the sight in front of you. The man you loved was at his limits and you knew that after everything that had happened he was tired. His face sporting burns that were beyond repair and his suit was completely obliterated, the metal burnt and ripped apart. His limp body sat up against the rocks and his arms weak and lifeless, it looked like you were already seeing his dead corpse, the mere image of his body in a casket was flashing through your head. You try to grab his attention knowing he was starting to lose grip of reality and that he was fading in and out of consciousness, he probably could barely hear you but what you had to say needed to be said, or else maybe you wouldn't live with yourself if all you did was just stay quiet and watch him die without having ever said your last words to him.

"Hey..." Your voice whispered to him while you tried to keep your composure from just wanting to ball your eyes out.

His head slowly turned in your direction which put the smallest smile on your face knowing that at least he could hear you clearly. His voice was barely audible, his lips struggling to move.

"Y/N..."

You placed your hand gently on his chest, the neon blue light in the middle of his chest still bright while your hand clutched at the it, hoping, praying, that the little light wouldn't go out just yet. His hand slowly but surely reached to hold yours over his chest and you could feel him weakly clutch around your fingers making sure your hand never left him.

"F.R.I.D.A.Y...?" Your voice was so close to breaking down, you knew what she was going to say but you just had to confirm it and make sure it was really happening.

"Life function critical." That was all the AI could say in response to your question without you even having to specifically ask.

His head slowly cocked to the side as he was able to crack one last smile at you, his face covered in burns, blood, and bruises. The look in his eyes was slowly dying and you could just feel that he was being drained of life, living on borrowed time. By the look he gave you and you gave him, you just knew that "This was it".

"Tony...look at me," The words were barely even able to leave your lips as his head had tried its hardest to turn towards the sound of your voice a husky groan leaving his lips since he had no words left to say.

"We are going to be ok...you can rest now...." You painfully smiled at him as all he could respond back were moans and groans of pain that he was feeling, struggling to stay alive a little bit longer, holding out until you said what you had to say to him.

"I love you 3000..." That was all you could whisper as one of your hands went up to his face touching the side that was still in one piece. Your thumb stroked his cheek and you gently placed your lips on his, kissing him for what you already knew was the last time.

His lifeless lips touched yours and it's as if you breathed in his very last dying breath. You glanced downward seeing the blue light slowly fade to black on his chest and his hand releasing yours dropping down to his side. You pulled away from his lips and tilted your head looking at him. Your vision started getting blurry while the tears started to flow like rivers down your face. Your hands moved to his sides, clutching onto him for dear life, looking down, not fully processing the fact that he was now gone forever. He wasn't coming back and there was no way for you to bring him back to life.

Once you knew he was gone you screamed at the top of your lungs until you barely had any air left to breathe. Your chest heaving up and down between sobs while the tears running down your face felt like oceans now rather than rivers and you pulled his body close to you crying as his lifeless body just laid in your arms. You lost all composure in that one moment, his death finally hitting you as if a train had run you over. Your heart seemed to almost go quiet and stop even as it felt like it left your body completely and died along with him.

The reality of the situation was still kicking in and you stayed by his side for a good ten minutes while all the Avengers had crowded around you, paying their respects to what Tony had given up. People had always thought Tony was a selfish and maybe pretentious asshole but he was the opposite of all of that. He died a true hero who sacrificed his life for the whole universe, what he did was probably the bravest thing you thought possible.

You felt Steve come up behind you, kneeling down to your level and you felt his hand place itself on your own shoulder. You couldn't stop rocking your body back and forth, Tony's limp head laying on your shoulder while you buried your head into his chest crying your eyes out until you could feel them burn.

"Y/N...it's time to bring him home." Steve had muttered underneath his breath as you could hear his voice crack knowing that even Steve of all people was crying for Tony despite the differences they held about one another.

You nodded your head in response as you knew it was finally time to bring him home where he belonged. You had no idea where you found the strength, but you did, lifting up his body and carrying him in your arms while you used the iron suits blasters to fly back through the portal with the others. One of your hands cradled his head close to your chest using your fingers to slowly shut his eyes closed.

"Rest in peace Tony...we’re going home." You had whispered looking at his motionless face, blasting away through the portal carrying him back to Earth.

A Few Days Later...

"Everybody dies" that's what they say. You kept telling yourself everyday that, trying to ingrain it into your brain while you felt the guilt settling in while you kept living and Tony was gone. There wasn't a single moment of everyday that you didn't miss him. His touch, his smile, his sarcastic remarks, his badly burnt omelets and when he would run around the house playing princesses with Morgan. All the happy moments kept flashing in your head as you tried so hard to get a grip on reality again. How were you supposed to live with all this guilt? You needed to stay strong for youself and your daughter but how long was that going to last? How long was this feeling going to linger in your mind? Some days you wanted to end it all, stop the hurting, put an end to the pain you felt throughout your whole body. Was there even a point to being alive when you couldn't be with him? All these questions kept racing through your mind knowing you couldn't leave, not yet. You needed to raise Morgan to be a strong woman, you needed to watch her grow up so that Tony could look down at the two of you from whatever heaven or afterlife there was and be able to see his daughter live a happy life knowing he contributed to the fact that her life could keep ongoing.

Some days you cried, not because of Tony but because of the fact that you now had to live in a world where he wasn't in it anymore. You couldn't go back to having a world where he was there right by your aide, holding your hand through the good and through the bad. There nothing more physically or even scientifically possible for you to do other than cry and come to the realization that this was now your life. You had to live with the pain of not having him at every waking moment. Looking at your wedding ring made tears well up in your eyes as you couldn't stop replaying the day the both of you got married and how it was the happiest day of your life.

You tried your best to be put together for Morgan but there was only so many times that you could keep on hiding your bloodshot eyes from crying so much and having half-assed explanations as to why there were so many tissues littering the floor of your bedroom.

Morgan came running into the living room with a smile on her face going up to you. You caught her in your arms, hugging her close to your chest while the both of you snuggled on the sofa. She was the only thing keeping you together at this point and you always hugged her a little bit tighter nowadays than you had before, you weren't alone, thats what you had to keep telling yourself.

"Hey, how you doing my little she-devil?" You asked in a playful voice, your hands creeping their way up to her little belly tickling her silly.

"Mommy! Mommy that tickles!" Morgan shouted her laugh seemed to fill the room while she squirmed around in your arms.

"Ok, ok I'll stop...maybe." You said wiggling your eyebrows at her as she calmed down from the tickles and was facing you, her large brown eyes looking into yours while you felt your heart just break a little bit more. Every time you stared at her face you couldn't help but pick out all the features she had inherited from her father.

Your face fell flat, the smile slowly fading and she clearly picked up what you were feeling. It wasn't rocket science to know that you were still grieving. Her small little hands squished your cheeks as she asked you the question you were hoping she would never ask.

"Mommy, where is Daddy? You look sad. Daddy always says that you better turn the frown upside down." She said while her fingers pushed and pulled at your cheeks trying to make your frown turn into a smile, moving your lips upward.

"He is um...Morgan, we need to talk. Look at mommy ok?" You said sitting up a bit, your throat already wanting to close up at the fact that you were trying to explain to a five-year-old that her dad died trying to save the whole universe from disappearing.

Morgan also sat up and in your lap facing you, your hand cupped her face. Your other hand holding her tiny one as you tried to find the right words to explain all of this to her.

"Daddy he is in another place right now...a better one that isn't here. He isn't coming back home...I'm so sorry honey," You say pulling her in close for a hug and you could feel her tiny tears staining your sweater as you cradled her in your arms.

"Everything is going to be ok, we are going to be fine. I promise that we are going to get through this...together. We have each other honey." Your words quickly came out, stumbling while you struggled to know what to say and when to say it. You were barely holding on by a thread and how were you supposed to keep it all together for Morgan too?

"So is he really gone, Mommy?" Morgan asked, her face left your chest to meet your eyes and you could have sworn your heart broke all over again, looking at how her eyes seemed to almost grow in size while tears welled up in them.

You just bit your lip at her, nodding, not being able to say anything else as you tried to hold back the pain you felt in your chest all over again.

"It's ok honey...Daddy saved the whole wide world and that's why you and I are able to be here right now. He always will be our superhero, right?" You said trying to offer any or some kind of explanation knowing that Morgan would definitely remember this at some point so you tried to lighten up the mood by booping the tip of her nose.

"Yeah...he was the bestest ever." Morgan said her voice a bit more enthusiastic as you seemed to be trying to cheer her up the best you could and for the first time in a few days you cracked a genuine smile that wasn't just a fake smile but real. You were surprised how well she was dealing with the news, understanding that what Tony did was for the greater good of the world. Little did ypu know Tony already had this talk with Morgan long ago and for a five-year old she was pretty mature, even in death Tony always made sure to have all his bases covered.

"He really was..." You let a stray tear run down your face as Morgan used her little finger to wipe it away for you.

"Please don't cry, Mommy. Daddy always said crying is ugly and will give you wrinkles." She said with a little laugh and you couldn't help but happily laugh alongside her while you remembered how even with a child Tony still found ways to be sarcastic and crack jokes with her.

"I won't, no more tears ok? Pinky Promise?" You said holding out your pinky, Morgan's smaller pinky latching with yours, your hand raking through her brown hair while you smiled at her.

"Are you hungry, Honey? Want me to make you some eggs?" You asked picking Morgan up from your lap and holding her close in your arms as the both of you walk into the kitchen. You seated her on top of the kitchen counter, her little legs swinging off the edge.

"Cheeseburgers!" She excitedly said, her hands raised up into the air cheering.

"Your Daddy loved cheeseburgers...let's celebrate him today, ok?." You said with the faintest smile as you looked at Morgan and thought to yourself, everything is going to be ok.

hi! im sure you get sick of getting this but i need some help as im questioning intersex after many years and lots of research. specifically im question if i have swcah. ive had pots symptoms for as long as i can accurately recall and am close to constantly in some level of adrenal fatigue, im always craving salt and having electrolyte imbalances as well as feeling dehydrayed easily and having awful circulation.

physically, i had a lot of early growth spurts and was one of my tallest classmates, but now as an adult im barely average, about as tall as my dad who is kind of short for his circumstances. ive been growing facial hair since middle school, and now that i identify as some? flavor of trans masc? almost everyone ive met in recent years asks me how long ive been on T, based on my voice and amount of face and body hair. ive never in my life had access to T, i havent started it, and people are genuinely shocked by it.

[possibly tmi trying to be medical]

i also absolutely have clitoromegaly, thats another reason partners as well have asked before if i have been on T, as well even growing up and before i had any concept of what intersex conditions were, i knew there was something off there and i would awkwardly (like a very small child) tell people i *actually* had, um, "both" when i was gendered as a kid, until i got told by my parents to stop because i was wrong.

final thing probably: i had to get a full physical at 11, including genital physical, and there was a point that my mother was pulled aside and whispered something that she never told me no matter how much i asked. ive been growing increasingly worried lately that it was related to an intersex condition in someway, even if not using those terms, but since im no contact i cant ask now. sorry, i know that one is anecdotal, so feel free to ignore it.

i just want to know why i am the way i am

hi! again! i forgot to mention that i started puberty around 10-11 and ive never had a very normal cycle, sometimes it would be almost normal for a few months then i would go months without anything again, and eventually a really short but really intense, painful, heavy cycle after so long of nothing, its always been like this for me. 2/2

Hey anon!

So, I've done some research to answer this question but I am not an expert on salt wasting CAH and def would reccomend checking things with a doctor if possible. It defintely sounds like you have a lot of symptoms of CAH. Having clitoromegaly, growth spurts but now mostly average, having body hair, the irregular periods--all of those things really stand out to me as symptoms of CAH, and also especially the doctor keeping something secret from you, cause that happens to so many intersex kids.

What I'm less certain about is if you could have gone this far into life without being diagnosed with salt wasting CAH. I know that newborn screening for salt wasting CAH started in the 1980s, but I entirely believe it's possible that it could have been missed, or wherever you were born didn't screen you, or something like that. My understanding, however, is that salt wasting CAH is life threatening if not treated and I'm wondering if it is possible that you could have gotten into adulthood without ever going into adrenal crisis. From everything I've read, it seems like salt wasting CAH is usually diagnosed in childhood because people with salt wasting CAH will go into adrenal crisis without treatment. Honestly, the only way I really think that you could have salt wasting CAH is if you had gone into a salt wasting crisis while you were a newborn but it was treated, and it was hidden from you. It sounds like there's a complicated relationship with your mother and already a pattern of hiding some medical info from you, so I suppose it could be possible that it happened but the info is not in your medical records. Have you ever been on hydrocortisone, prednisone, or dexamethasone long term, as well fludrocortisone? I'd say only if you have been on those medicines long term and had salt wasting crises, that you could possible have salt wasting CAH.

However, what I think is more likely is that you have a variation of CAH that is not salt wasing and also not NCAH. My first guess would be that you have simple virilizing CAH, which is still considered "classical CAH" but is without salt wasting crises. With SV CAH, people usually have a less severe aldosterone deficiency. This means that you might still have symptoms like hyponatremia (low sodium), hyperkalemia (high potassium), hypoglycemia, dehydration, and could also maybe even cause your poor circulation. Usually, this doesn't progress to the point of salt wasting crisis and is more mild than swCAH, but is generally more severe than NCAH. Besides sv classical CAH, there are also rare forms of CAH caused by defienciencies in other enzymes, which have a wide variety in presentations of symptoms.

Another thing that I just learned about is CAH X, which is a variation of CAH that's comorbid with EDS. If you also have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, it might be worth looking into. With CAH X, there's a specific genetic cause that causes EDS, CAH, and most people are also comorbid with POTS.

Also, there is a chance that you could just have more severe symptoms of NCAH. I just read a study that says 1/3 of people with NCAH have a cortisol insufficency. Cortisol insufficency can also cause weakness, fatigue, dizziness, electrolyte imbalance, low sodium--so there may be a chance that you have NCAH and a more severe cortisol insufficency. Anecdotally, a lot of people with NCAH have POTS comorbid (I do as well!) and there really hasn't been a lot of research on NCAH and POTS. It looks like there might be more of a connection between NCAH and adrenal insufficency then previously thought, but there isn't a lot of research done on NCAH. I read another study talking about how a lot of research papers do not specify whether they include NCAH in their numbers of people with CAH.

Basically, I think that it is unlikely that you've made it to adulthood without getting diagnosed with salt wasting CAH, because salt wasting CAH is basically life threatening if untreated. It is more likely that you have classical simple virilization CAH, a rarer subtype of CAH, or NCAH with severe symptoms.

Hey! I saw a lot of pages of the manga you coloured! It's the one that has a 3D anime right? I have been wanting to watch it for a while now but didn't have time. Since seeing the last piece you coloured i have been hella confused. What's the manga and anime about? Is there anything that needs a warning? In animation I'm fine with a lot of potentially triggering stuff like body horror etc. I'd really appreciate your comments on the series since I can't seem to find anything without spoilers attached :((

The anime/manga is Land of the lustrous. After 3 comets have wiped out all of humanity, immortal gem people called the lustrous emerged from humanities remains. They live with each other on a small island with sensei, the mysterious caretaker of the gems. However, spiritual like people called the Lunarians come down to earth from the moon to hunt them and use their parts as decorations and jewelry, thus the gems fight them to prevent them and their friends being taken to the moon.

The story follows Phosphophyllite, the youngest and weakest gem. After failing every single job they've been given to do, Sensei gave them the task of compiling an encyclopedia, much to their dismay, for they rather want to fight alongside others.

I... may have majorly spoiled you with my latest coloured pages, but since it's confusing out of context, it won't matter that much until you get to that part.

It's a fantastic anime and manga. The uniqueness of the art draws many people and the way the author wrote the story makes it such an interesting read. It's way beyond the average manga story and I honestly reccomend it to people if they've read a fair bit of manga or watched a fair bit of anime. Also the fanart of this series is amazing like something about this series causes artist to pump out masterpiece after masterpiece.

The anime is also solid and extremely well done. The anime was a big breakthrough for studio orange and made them quite famous, giving the anime the title "Cgi anime done right", which led them to animate beaststars and their popularity bloomed. There are also many talented jp voice actors in the series.

As you said, one of the warnings of this series is body horror, but you somehow get used to it. Although the mangas body horror is much more gruesome than the anime, which had to try and adapt the authors unique style (the latest pages I coloured is after the start of the worst body horror you can imagine in the series. The pain is on Evangelion level of bad)

So if you want read the manga, I suggest taking it slow so that you don't potentially feel uncomfortable when reading it.

There are also heavy religious themes, as the series deals a lot with Buddhist symbolism.

If you decide to read the manga, now is probably the best time. We're nearing the end of the series and just got out of a two year long hiatus. I have a feeling the newest chapters would hit you much more differently if you decide to binge read it.

Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love Live 7th Stage Report

Day 1 Report:

Thank you all for waiting, here is my report for the first night of Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love 7th Stage!! I wanted to make sure I covered it in as much detail as I could, however if you just want to see the setlist, you can see it here on tumblr. If anyone doesn't know my personal history with this concert, I have been an Utapri fan for about 10 years, and for the first time ever, I finally managed to hit for tickets to view it in person back in 2020. Although I can no longer travel to Japan, I was lucky enough to be able to watch the first night’s performance (27/11/21) and exchange information with someone who saw the second night. I have also tried to include some information from tweets and other posts from people that attended day two, but this report will mostly focus on the first night. The set list was the same on both nights. The main difference between the two live streams were apparently vastly different camera angles. The cast were also reportedly more confident and had slightly better vocals on the second night. Both live streams had some minor infrequent audio issues (mics being too quiet or mics occasionally cutting off others), but they were also seemingly slightly improved for the 2nd live stream. I believe these were livestream-only issues, and people who viewed live in the MetLife Dome did not experience this. To quickly cover Suzuki Tatsuhisa’s (Kurosaki Ranmaru) and Yonaga Tsubasa’s (Mikado Nagi) absences (although I’m sure I will reference it multiple times throughout this report), both were handled a little bit differently due to the reasons each was not taking part, and the timing of those decisions in the planning of the concert. As far as the audio goes, both Ranmaru and Nagi’s parts in songs were played as regular background audio alongside otherwise off-vocal versions of the song tracks. In Tsubasa’s case, it seemed they knew the whole time, or at least from very early on in planning that he would not be able to attend due to his dysphonia. Tsubasa has been advised by his doctor and other professionals to limit his voice acting work so he doesn’t strain or damage his voice and throat which obviously means no extensive live performances. There seemed to be more consideration put into the camera angles and choreography for songs that include Nagi. It is sad to see him gone, and Heavens would never feel complete without him, but I am glad he is prioritising his health especially since that can be such a difficult decision to make in the idol and voice acting industries. Both Yonaga Tsubasa and Nagi were given huge amounts of respect that they rightfully deserve during the concert. On the other hand, Tatsuhisa’s absence from the concert was decided very late into not only planning, but also after the concert was originally supposed to be held. This impacted the choreography, camera angles, and set list as they were all decided on and rehearsed by the voice actors before they knew he wouldn’t be able to attend. This resulted in the gap left by him in most songs to be more noticeable than Nagi’s as it seems (at least for the first night) they didn’t have time to change most of these elements before the performance, leaving occasionally awkward pauses in dances, or zooms on empty microphones and spotlights. If you do not know why Suzuki Tatsuhisa was absent from the concert, I suggest you take a quick google and form your own opinions on the matter. I will not go into depth here as I am not fully informed on the subject, and I don't know the validity of the claims against him. Regardless, he is currently on a hiatus I believe to prioritise his non-work life and his mental health. It is unclear if he made the decision himself or was advised/forced to cease work by his management. Despite everything, I still hope he can get back on his feet and at the very least stay healthy and well. Whatever conflicted emotions you may now have towards Tatsuhisa, please do not let them influence your opinions on Ranmaru or any of Tatsuhisa’s other characters. At least, that is how I will be approaching him in this report.

Now that the basic information is out of the way, onto the opening! Of course, this report will contain spoilers for pretty much everything in the concert (outfits, staging, set list, mishaps, announcements etc) so this is your warning to stop here if you would like to remain unspoiled for when the DVD/Bluray are released in 2022 (date undecided).

Stage setup: This is the third Utapri live in the MetLife Dome in Saitama! Previously, 6th stage and Welcome to Starish World were both also held here. It is difficult to describe but I’ll do my best. The stage is a lot simpler than recent Utapri Lives. There is one main stage that is just a long rectangular platform. There are four different doors on the bottom layer of the stay. Behind the main stage, there are three higher platforms connected with stairs. Each of these three higher stages also has a screen behind it. There is no extended runway like in 6th Stage, Maji Love Kingdom or the Starish fanmeet. The stage’s theming makes it look very vaguely like a castle. It’s really interesting to see how different the vibe of the concert/arena can be just dependent on how the stage is set up, even within the same arena. I have to say, I think the other two set ups in previous Utapri concerts in the Metlife Dome lent themselves to more interesting staging and effects.For comparison, If you look at the stage for 6th stage or the Starish fanmeet, both of them had a main stage at the back and different types of longer walkways stemming off it (6th stage also had a secondary stage in the middle of the arena) and space around the edge of the floor seats for songs to be performed on carts. It may be due to some covid restrictions in Japan (unable to get in the extra stage equipment etc) or maybe because of a higher seat capacity, but 7th stage only had the basic rectangular stage.

If nothing is said about a songs staging, assume it was just walking around and doing a little bit of dancing on stage with a microphone.

The beginning:

After a standby screen, and overhead view of the audience in the MetLife Dome, the concert opens with an introductory video to the Utapri characters from Starish, Quartet Night, and Heavens. They are shown in the usual order. Ranmaru and Nagi are included, despite the absence of their voice actors. The voice actors from Starish (Terashima Takuma (Ittoki Otoya), Suzumura Kenichi (Hijirikawa Masato), Taniyama Kishou (Shinomiya Natsuki), Mamoru Miyano (Ichinose Tokiya), Junichi Suwabe (Jinguji Ren), Shimono Hiro (Kurusu Syo), and Toriumi Kousuke (Aijima Cecil) rise from platforms below the stage, and the first song begins.

Song 1: Fantastic Prelude

Impressions:

Fantastic Prelude is a great beginning to the concert. The camera angles were the livestream were great, so many different views of the stage, close ups, really everything you’d normally see on the final bluray release. Saying that though, I’m excited to see how the impression of each performance changes once they have been edited for release. Starish are wearing all dark red outfits reminiscent of their Maji Love Kingdom outfits. As usual, the details of each outfit are tailored specifically to each voice actor/character. They also all wear concert rings of their characters' image colour on their right hands. I will go into more detail on the outfits during the character introductions shortly.

The majority of the song is performed on raised platforms high in the air. For the m,ost part, there isn't much choreography for Fantastic Prelude, but they do mimic parts from the official choreography in some parts. Each boy comes on during an instrumental to say a line in character to welcome the audience. It's wonderful to see them all together again after so long, it nearly made me cry.

Song 2: The World is Mine

Impressions:

The first note I took for The World is Mine was “THEY HAVE SWORDS?!?” The song opens with the Quartet Night Voice actors (Morikubo Showtaro (Kotobuki Reiji), Aoi Shouta (Mikaze Ai), and Maeno Tomoaki (Camus) in shadow. As the lights turn on, they each pull out a sword and point it to the sky. Their outfits are primarily dark blue, almost seeming black in some lighting. These are also similar to the Maji Love Kingdom outfits for Quartet Night. During the song, they stab their swords into a hole in the floor where im guessing some staff members underneath take them away. As mentioned, for Ranmaru’s lines, his voice is played in the background and red lights shine on the stage for him. The ‘yonin no kizuna/the bonds of four” is particularly sad without Ranmaru. While I was almost crying at Fantastic Prelude, my hands were shaking while typing my notes for The World is Mine.

Song 3: Gira x2 Seven

Impressions:

The stairs at the back of the stage open and the Heavens Voice actors (Midorikawa Hikaru (Otori Eiichi), Ono Daisuke (Sumeragi Kira), Uchida Yuuma (Otori Eiji), Takahashi Hidenori (Kiruiin Van), Kimura Ryouhei (Hyuuga Yamato), Yamashita Daiki (Amakusa Shion) walk out. They are wearing dark green outfits of course inspired once again by the Heavens movie outfits. An important and very endearing detail with the Heavens outfits though, is that they wear not only their own character's image colour ring, but they also each wear a yellow ring for Nagi who was unable to attend. The first solo line in the song is by Midorikawa, and it seemed his voice and hands were both shaking a little bit. He seemed quite nervous, and I'm so proud of him, it must be so scary to be the first one to sing, and he always seems to put so much pride and care into his role as Eiichi. This is followed by Uchida Yuuma who of course seems so comfortable and confident on stage. Hidenori’s voice broke during his long high pitched note which was a bit tough, but as far as I’m aware he doesn't have as much live stage experience as some of the other voice actors, and even though he missed this note he otherwise really shone on stage and always drew my attention whenever he was on screen. His smile absolutely lit up my loungeroom. I didn't hear anyone talk about him missing the note on the second night either! Like Ranmaru’s voice, Nagi’s voice is also played in the bg audio. On the second night, instead of chanting “gira gira gira gira” after Nagi’s “haato yo moechae” and “Hikari mo tomochae” lines, they chant “nagi nagi nagi nagi!” instead. I really hope this makes it to the bluray version, it sounds like a really sweet and fun moment. Much of the choreo for Heavens group songs leaves an empty space for Tsubasa and it seemed more like a deliberate choice to pay respect to him and acknowledge him as a part of the group than just not being able to change the staging.

Character welcomes and intros:

Each voice actor does a very short line in character to welcome the audience to the concert and introduce themselves. This is done in the usual order, Otoya - Shion. Since these speeches are pretty much all “Im ____’s Voice actor ______. I hope we have fun tonight” I’ll just mention a couple unique things about their outfits before moving on.

Takuma is of course wearing glasses

Kishou had some hair clips on the left side of his hair

Suwabes hair is styled similar to Rens with one long spike of his fringe in between his eyes. I can't remember if he had part tied back in a short ponytail or not. He addressed the crowd by saying “Ladies and gentlemen, no, everyone!” which was lovely.

Shimono has pink hair clips in his hair in the same pattern as Syo’s. I believe he also wore these in 6th Stage. His nails are painted black

As usual, Toriumi is wearing a hat

Shouta has highlights in his hair syed the same colour as Ai’s and it is also styled like Ai’s hair with part pulled back into a short ponytail. He dyed his hair back to black the day after the 2nd performance haha. His nails were painted a very light purple, and his outfit has white frills on the hips of his coat.

Maeno has his nails painted, is wearing blue contacts, and wears the same hairstyle and accessory (or at least very close) as he did in 2018’s Quartet Night Live Future. And of course, he had to call us all gumin. Shouta and Shoutarou bowed as he did so.

Following the short introductions, there is a small video slideshow of the Heavens 7th Stage art to introduce the beginning of the Heavens section.

Song 4: HEAVEN'S GATE

Impressions:

Although it's been performed before (you’ll find that to be a common theme with 7th Stage), we start with Heaven's Gate! As much as I would've liked to see some new songs represented, it’s always nice to see more Heaven's Gate. They are all on platforms high in the air like in 6th stage. There was an empty platform for Yonaga Tsubasa, and after the platforms sank back to the stage level, I think there was once again space left in the choreography for him as well.

Heavens MC

Midorikawa opens and introduces a Heavens only MC. They talk about how its been a long time yet they’re back in the same arena as 6th stage. Apparently last time Midorikawa had a cold, so he feels like this is a revenge match haha. Yamashita points out their yellow rings to symbolise that their hearts are always one with Yonaga Tsubasa even if he isn't there. They call out and wave to Nagi, asking if he can see them as they hold up their rings. They say that since he isn't with them, they’ll have to battle it out to be just as cute as he usually is. This leads to OnoD impersonating Nagi/Tsubasa’s cute voice and mannerisms to read out a short greeting that I think was prepared for Nagi by Yonaga in the Heavens Line group chat. “Heavens is the best isn't it! Angels, please be super excited and have a lot of fun, by Nagi.” OnoD of course instantly gets embarrassed and collapses to his knees. Apparently they talked about something different on the second night, and Midorikawa delivered a different message from Nagi. I wonder if they’ll edit together parts from each night’s talk segments for the DVD/bluray.

Song 5: Fumetsu no Inferno

Impressions:

My notes for Fumetsu no Inferno start with “YUUUUMAAAA!!!!”. It’s hard for me to pick a favourite Heavens song, but Fumetsu no Inferno is so great, and Yuuma especially shines so much while performing it. I especially look forward to seeing it on the DVD/Bluray release which I’m sure will have improved audio mixing for the live vocals. Smoke shoots out in front of the stage as the Voice actors raise to be on three different platform heights, arranged in a triangle. Since I feel that so much of this songs greatness comes from Eiji’s harmonies and high notes in the background, its wonderful to see Yuuma front and centre in the middle of the bottom row. All stages become the same height again. During the livestream, whenever they were close to the smoke or fire, you could hear it through their microphones.

There is a very short video introducing the Quartet Night Section.

Song 6: Dancing Over Night

Impressions:

Each boy comes out of a different door on stage with a group of backup dancers. I think this was the first time we saw the dancers, and I like their outfits, they're wearing simple european styled long black coats and black pants with a plain white shirt on underneath. Each of them does a little dance as they come out, and there is quite obviously a pause in the choreo for when Tatsun would have walked out. There are plenty of red penlights in the audience for Ranmaru, as well as some yellow for Nagi too! Towards the end of the song, they stand in formation on the stairs with dancers to form the shape of a diamond.

Song 7: Love EVOL (Short ver)

Impressions:

Something you might notice here, is that the versions of the heavens solos were shorter versions! I didn't notice this, likely because I hadn't listened to their new solos a lot yet, but I saw people mention it on twitter! I remember thinking Fumetsu no Inferno also felt short, so it's possible there were other short versions that I didn't catch. Super odd decision since the run time of the concert was already much shorter than the last couple.I was definitely not expecting Love Evol, or any Quartet Night solos since there weren't any released at the time when 7th stage was supposed to occur! Sadly though, there are no Heavens or Starish solos. Hopefully next time. I do find it funny though that I predicted Starish and Heavens solos, and we got the exact opposite. It was instantly noticeable that Aoi Shouta is very comfortable with live vocals and dancing on a stage. He looks so comfortable, and all his movements were polished to absolute perfection. Super cute of course too. The music paused and he did a little finger heart, smile, and laugh at the camera.

Song 8: Steward Dance (Short Ver)

Impressions:

I'm very proud of Maeno for doing a little dance! He seems to be more confident with choreo every concert. The performance is super cute, performed in the higher pitched Camus voice which switches to the deeper Camus voices. He’s also dancing with backup dancers who at once point mime being a table in front of Maeno that he pretends to take a teacup off and drink from.

Song 9: All Right All Night (Short Ver)

Impressions:

Not a lot of notes for this one. Morikubo on stage with backup dancers, a bit of dancing, including some hip swaying. It did have a part that I feel was really hindered by the audience not being allowed to yell/cheer, or use their voices to take part in audience calls, so i'm curious how it comes across on the Bluray/DVD release. After his solo, Morikubo welcomed out the other QN boys for a Ranmaru solo.

Song 10: Only One (Short Ver)

Impressions:

The Quartet Night voice actors and a bunch of backup dancers to a tribute (?) to Ranmaru by dancing to Only One. At first I thought they might sing it in his place, but no, just dancing. Okay, so I seemed to interpret this quite differently to other fans. It could’ve been a difference between the camera angles in the livestreams, and it certainly was nice to see Ranmaru acknowledged, but honestly I mostly found this performance really funny?? And I don't say that to at all demean Ranmaru or the effort that obviously went into it by the voice actors and dancers, but rather than a tribute that made me emotional, if felt more like a rushed “oh shit we couldn't change this performance in time” with CONSTANT close ups, zooms, and pans across an empty microphone with the loneliest spotlight on it you've ever seen. Talking with someone that saw the second night, this wasn't really the case there, as the camera angles mostly focused on the remaining QN boys doing the choreo. However, saying all that, Ranmaru is definitely missed, but to me this performance felt so out of place and made me feel his Morikubo, Shouta and Maeno doing a really nice pose for the camera which I‘m sure will be screenshot and posted all over the palace once the DVD/Bluray are released.

Quartet Night MC

More “kono gumin ga” thank you Maeno it is always appreciated. I think on the first nights performance, it was about 5 degrees Celsius in Saitama, so they said they hope everyone brought blankets and clothes to keep warm. Maeno said “Its as cold as Silk Palace.” As I mentioned earlier, due to covid safety measures being taken in Japan/the MetLife Dome, the audience wasn’t allowed to cheer or raise their voices during the concert, so they released voice recording concert merchandise that fans could use to record their voices in advance cheering a set amount of different cheers in support which they could play during the live. They asked to have the background music removed, and everyone who bought them to all press play on the count of 3. You couldn’t hear it on the livestream, but I’m really excited to hear them on the official release! If I heard correctly, they got goosebumps and Shouta cried when Starish first performed Fantastic Prelude. From Morikubo: “Its been a while since we’ve been able to return here with all four of us, but sadly we cannot do our best to keep our spirits up and entertain you! I hope you enjoy the rest of our songs let's get excited!”

Song 11: Kizuna

Impressions:

After their talk, they go to sit on the stairs and act as if they are in a car like how the song appears in the anime. The was a cute use of handheld camera right next to them on the stage so you felt like you were in the car with them. I think this was maybe the same choreo we’ve seen before for Kizuna. Seeing Kizuna with only ¾ Quartet Night members feels especially lonely since I feel like so much of the song's charm is dependent on their harmonies, and finishing each other's lines. Having said that though, they all put so much effort into the performance and asked the audience to call out the “whoa-oh”s in their hearts. From memory, I think they all looked emotional at the end of the song.

And of course, there is a small video introducing the Starish boys with the 7th Stage art.

Song 12: Maji 1000% Love

Impressions:

As soon as the intro to Maji Love 1000% started playing as they walked out, I got so emotional. It really is such an important song to the franchise and my personal nostalgia. That nostalgia was interrupted when Suwabe and Takuma accidentally started early when they were supposed to wait for the fireworks/fire effects to go off in front of the stage. Very funny little mishap that will 100% be cut out of the final version, so I’m glad I got to see it! To be fair, I was also definitely expecting the song to start when Suwabe started singing! They use a lot of split screens throughout this performance so we can see the different boys together while they sing their little duo lines (for example, Mamo and Takuma split screen for “Dochi wo erabu princess” line.)

Song 13: Shining Romance

Impressions:

Lots more handheld camera on the stage for this one on the first night! Super cute performance, each of them have the concert mino towels which they spin around in the air and dance with. Since there’s no Shimono solo. I’m glad they got them in there for a performance, it seems like such a Utapri Live tradition at this point! There was a very fun close up of Shimono that I enjoyed a lot. I definitely enjoyed this song, but I feel like it will be even more fun to watch when more camera angles are edited together for the DVD/bluray that focus on each of the boys more with their little towel twirling and silly dance moves.

Song 14: Star Wish

Impressions:

I love Star Wish! Possibly my second favourite Starish song (ignoring Nostalgia for 1000% 2000% etc) so I was so happy to see it live, especially since it’s one of the only relatively new songs we got. I wonder if they would be waiting to do Quartet Crown and Endless Score for when all of the Quartet Night and Heavens voice actors are able to gather together? The staging for Star Wish was all them standing stationery at mics which kinda reminded me of Night Dream’s staging. Very simple staging, but it worked very effectively. The lack of dance choreo also meant their vocals really got to shine. Something else I loved that I feel might show up better on bluray release, is that as each of them said their solo syllables in “Ki-su-ya-mi-su-go-ku” etc, each of them got individually lit up by a spotlight in their characters image colour.

Starish MC + Announcements

Terashima almost falls down the stairs and the others made fun of him for it. Takuma sais this is now Starish’s third concert in the MetLife Dome! I wonder if they’ll keep up this tradition if we get more lives in the future. Terashima Takuma: “Even if we cant be close to you in person we can be close in our hearts.” They bring up that apparently shouta cried backstage seeing the 7 members of Starish perform 1000% together. Takuma passes over to Suzumura-han as usual for announcements! I love that Suzumura gets this responsibility, and you bet he did his robot voice. They tease him saying that the voice was a bit different than usual, and Suzumura says “Hey! Even the announcer can have growth/character development!” Of course, usually by the time I see the announcements on a bluray, we’ve already known them for months, so this was so exciting to see live! The first thing they announce is the Bluray and DVD release for 7th Stage sometime in 2022. Nothing unusual there. However, he goes on to say: “Of course it’s getting a bluray release though right? So we have more announcements!” They announce the return of animated Utapri content that we’ll receive via a one hour Utapri TV anime special! The Special will serve as a bridge in canon to connect the story between Maji Love Kingdom and the 2022 Utapri Movie, Utapri Maji Love Starish Tours. On the second night, they also announced the title of the 1 hour special; “Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love Starish Tours ~Tabi no Hajimari~”/Uta no Prince-sama Maji Love Starish Tours ~The Beginning of the Journey~”. Takuma points out how whenever they enter announcement mode, all the pennlights turn blue for Suzumura. Apparently on the second night, Zuzumura did a wasurero beam so people would act surprised when they announced it again. After the announcement they acted as if his wasurero beam was too powerful and made everyone forget all about Utapri. Takuma announces that the next song will be Starish’s last in the concert and although I knew they’d definitely be doing an encore, I was still surprised because we were only an hour and a half in!

Song 15: We Are Starish

Impressions:

They kinda do the dance/movements from the anime. In general, this has pretty basic staging, but Mamo and Kiiyan’s vocals were perticularly good. I really don't have a lot of notes for this one!

Following We Are Starish, it’s Maji Love Kingdom time! There is a video montage that once again shows the 7th stage artworks in the Maji Love Kingdom shuffle unit song groups in order as well as short clips from their songs from the movie to remind you what they looked like in the anime. For example, they first show Otoya, Ai, and Van, then a little clip of Up Down Up.

Song 16: Up Down Up

Impressions:

Here we get the first outfit change!! Each group wears outfits reminiscent of their movie outfits without just being copies. Instead of being white, the Up Down Up outfits are mostly black with shite shirts underneath and their signature colours applied similarly in patterns to how they were in the movie. The screen in the back of the stage shows a lot of footage from the performance from the movie. As far as the performance goes, they are joined by backup dancers, and all three of them do quite a bit of the dance from Up Down Up. It’s super cute! Something I was looking forward to with these songs was seeing different combos of penlight colours in the crowd, and the lavender, orange and red lights look really good! The dance moves for “up up down up” look really fun, they asked the audience to do them together at the end. All three of them look like they're having so much fun! Sadly Shouta and Takahashi couldn't throw or princess carry Takuma like Van and Ai did with Otoya in the movie haha.

Song 17: Egoistic

Impressions:

Somehow the staging for this one didn't emphasize Tatsuns absence as much for me, despite only having two other people on stage. It was still noticeable though, but I imagine with editing for the Bluray/DVD release that would be improved on. He would have killed this live, but Kiiyan and Midorikawa do really well with just the two of them! Their outfits have leather jackets and pants, and they each have harnesses across their chest like the movie outfits. I’d say Midorikawas outfit looks closer to the movie than Kiiyans did. They're both just standing with stationery mics on stands, but the shots of them on the big screens in the back have a filter that looks like metal bars over the top so it looks like they're in a cage like in the movie! Kiiyan intentionally kicks over his mic stand, and it looks super cool. And of course, Kiiyans improv vamping (is that the right term?) in the instrumental parts.

Song 18: Feather in Hand

Impressions:

I was hoping for water effects with this one (like Masato’s solo in 6th Stage), and sadly there weren't any, but they did have feathers flying through the air! At the start, Maeno has one in his hand, and I wasn't sure if he had it the whole time or if he actually caught it. These outfits are probably the most different from the movie since it seems like they wanted to stick with majority black and white looks so all the members still looked cohesive when they were together at the end. The outfits mostly resemble the movie outfits since they both had a lot of diagonal lines. Later in the song, they go on raised platforms high in the air similar to the movie. No matter who he’s on stage with, Yuuma always seems so comfortable, and Maeno and Suzumura are both so good, but I still couldn’t take my eyes off Yuuma! He’s just so charming. The light blue, dark blue, and purple lights also look great in the audience for this one!

Song 19: Souai Traumerei

Impressions:

Suwabe, Takahashi, and Shoutarou rise from below the stage. They’re wearing all black, with lots of things to create a long coat-like silhouette that reminded me a lot of the movie. I’d say these are the closest to the movie outfits. They pause the music in the middle and each give a little emo speech in character about love and while doing so, they each pick up a lily! The lilies are lit up in their character's colour. I really hoped they'd, they put the lights out, and turn off the lights in the lillies so it looked like they dissolved like they did in the movie, but they didn't. Still super cool to have them at all though! There wasn't as much cool choreo in this one, but thats fair enough, it was still really nice.

Song 20: Colourfully Spark

Impressions:

So cute! But especially since its such a cute song, it was sad to be missing Nagi! Again, like Feather in the Hand, these outfits are lacking a lot of the colour that made them recognisable, and even the cuts of their outfits are quite different! Instead, the colours are applied like splatters of paint on the mostly black outfits. The backup dancers have cute colourful star shaped balloons. Shimono couldnt get out all of his little “aaaah” note, it was more of an “aA-”. They do the little arm motion choreo like the movies choreo which I like! The stage in the background has three little mini stages. each one is lit up in a different boy’s colour. The middle one is yellow for Nagi. You can tell they had more time to plan for no Yonaga with this one, theres not as many awkward empty camera angles. This is another one that I feel like would benefit from more close ups in the final edit for the Bluray release since I swear every time they did cute expressions or focused on the choreo it cut away to far away or shots from the side where you couldnt really see them! After the song, Shimono tried to say “arigatou!” but they cut off his mic so there was just a very loud “ARI-”

Song 21: Kaleidoscope

Impressions:

I'm guessing this will be cut out for the bluray, but there was this horrible sound effect in between Colourfully Spark and Kaleidoscope that kept playing on repeat. However! This was so they could set up the hot air balloons! They can’t fly through the air on hoverboards, so this is the best option I think haha. Super cool to see these return after they were in 6th Stage. Quite similar execution to Visible Elf there, so go rewatch that If you want an idea of what they look like. Each boy is in their own hot air balloon. From memory, was Ryouhei scared of heights? I swear I heard that somewhere, and he was certainly holding onto the railing on the balloon’s basket the whole time. They land, and sing the end of the song on the stage. Their outfits are kinda work casual, but they're each quite different. Instead of being grey like in Maji Love Kingdom, they're mostly white with black accents. Mamo wore a white blazer with thin black pinstripes. They each mime drawing a big heart in the air at the end.

Song 22: Ai wo Sasageyou

Impressions:

Midorikawa announces that this is “Heaven's final song”. They're each still wearing the outfits from their Maji Love Kingdom songs. This is another one I didn’t have many notes on. I LoVe Ai wo Sasageyou, but there wasn’t a lot of interesting staging for this one, but similar to Star Wish, that meant their vocals sounded a bit better since there wasn’t much choreo. At the end, they're all one one rising platform together, and they each strike a pose after saying their solo lines.

Song 23: Fly to the Future

Impressions:

Most of my notes for this were me freaking out as a Shouta stan because HIS MIC WASN’T WORKING. Its really hard to tell, but it seems like maybe it was working in the arena but they didnt turn on his mic to transmit to the livestream? I couldn't tell if he looked a bit frustrated because it wasnt working or if I was just seeing things. His mic wasn't working properly for a while, but later on when the 3 of them stand a bit closer, you can hear Shoutas voice quietly and it sounds like it’s maybe one of the other boys' microphones picking it up from the arena. This was thankfully fixed on the second day. At the start, there was a shot of Shouta singing, but all you could hear was Morikubos voice. His solo bit at the start of the song was also completely silent, just the instrumental. It was interesting however to hear the start of the song without Ai’s harmonies, I feel like his voice really adds a lot to the other three boys’ deeper voices. This was another song that made use of a handheld camera on stage in parts. Morikubo announces that this is ”Quartet nights final song” before Shouta’s mic is out again for his solo part. Thankfully it gets fixed towards the end of the song though! It felt even more exciting to hear his voice back in a very triumphant part of the song! At the “arigatou, soshite, korekara mo” they’re on a raised part of the stage. I have to admit, I was so focused on Shouta’s mic I totally forgot about Tatsuhisa’s absence haha. At the end of the song, Shouta’s eyes looked a bit watery, and I couldnt tell if he was frustrated because maybe his mic didn’t work, or if it was just the lights reflecting off them. I imagine it had to have been working at least somewhat in the arena because I’m sure they had spare mics on standby that someone could have ran on and given him if it truly wasn't working. But anyway, this has been your full rundown of my panicked “Oh no Shouta’s mic isn't working” notes!

Song 24: Ultra Blast

Impressions:

Again, not many notes about this one, but it did have nice fire effects! There was a nice 7 way split screen effect showing them all at once, but Kiiyans screen was fully covered by fire. Toriumi misses one of his solo lines. And of course, this is the “last song of 7th Stage” with the usual incredibly transparent fake-out ending before an encore! It’s always fun to see them finish and just walk straight off the stage.

Since the audience wasn't allowed to cheer or raise their voices, you can't hear them calling for an encore, but they did clap for one instead!

Encore 1: Welcome to Utapri Kingdom

Impressions:

Whoohoo, encore! Only a two song encore though, and the talk was nowhere near as long as 6th Stage’s! Some people might prefer this, but I was looking forward to another 45 minute talk full of crying haha. I guess they’re saving that for next time! I was also totally expecting them to wear the concert t-shirts, but they’re all still in their Maji Love Kingdom outfits! In any case, Welcome to Utapri Kingdom works really well for an encore. I'd love more songs with all 18 of the characters in them. Of all of my many mistakes in the set list predictions I made in 2020, I'm glad I at least got the encore songs right! Maeno is wearing at least four Camus rings, and all of Heavens has their yellow rings back on after removing them for the Maji Love Kingdom songs.

Following Welcome to Utapri Kingdom, there is a very short talk. Takuma covers how the concert was supposed to happen in April of 2020, and all the hardships everyone has gone through in the past 2 years in order to stand here together. Shouta looked to be crying a little bit. Takkun talks about all the different things people have gone through to be able to perform/watch live. Takuma passes over to Yamashita Daiki who starts their solo goodbyes in character. This is one in reverse order, starting with Shion, and ending with Otoya. Each voice actor says about one sentence and I didn’t manage to make notes for all of them, but for example, Uchida Yuumas goodbye was “I would be happy if my feelings were able to reach you. I will make sure that my memories of today remain in my heart forever. I'm Otori Eiji’s voice actor Uchida Yuuma, thank you!” One the second day, I heard that Takahashi accidentally cut off Ryouhei’s goodbye speech and they both started speaking at the same time. Takahashi got embarrassed as they others made fun of him and Suzumura did another wasurero beam.

Encore 2: Maji Love Kingdom

Impressions:

Although this is the final song, I again didn't take too many notes so I could just enjoy watching it. Like in the movie, each group does each other's hand signals! They end the song in a heart shape on the stairs like at the end of the performance from the movie!

After the song Takuma thanks the shining dancers as they walk off stage. Finally, to end the first night of 7th Stage, Takuma leads the others into saying thank you, and the curtain/screen behind them rises. Mamoru Miyano’s ‘Encore’ starts playing in the background as Takuma invites Heavens, then Quartet Night to leave the stage. As Starish stands up to leave, Shimono gets to his spot quickly and Suwabe says “Ochibi-chan there's no need to rush.” They all look a bit emotional, and Takuma says “Let's definitely meet again, that's a promise.” I will hold you to that promise Takkun! The screen lowers, and they squat and look under it so the audience can see them for as long as possible as they wave goodbye underneath it. The concert ends with a “See You Again” message on the screen.

Final Impressions:

I'm so happy I was able to watch this livestream. It was such a special night. This was only possible thanks to the friend I had in Japan who let me borrow her Japanese phone number to use ticketPIA, and of course thank you once again to everyone who gave me their codes back in 2019 to apply for tickets. I doubt I would have put this much effort into getting access to the livestream and covering it in such detail unless I had originally gotten tickets thanks to you. I am sad I had to cancel my trip to see the concert in person in 2020, but the fact that the voice actors, and of course the staff went ahead with their plans for 7th Stage despite their many hardships really shows their devotion to this franchise.

I wonder if there were restrictions on having songs performed on the carts, because I don't think there were any at all. If so, probably due to them needing to be distanced as much as possible on stage. This also could be what impacted a lot of the staging if they couldnt be as close to each other as often, and had to potentially rework some cart songs to be “standing stationary at a mic and doing a bit of dancing” songs. Saying that though, They definitely did their best they could with lots of restrictions in place in Japan at the time, and I am so incredibly thankful that they made the concert available via livestream, even if it was still difficult to access as someone living outside of Japan. The TicketPIA process was very complex and I saw a lot of Japanese people complaining about it on twitter as well, so I hope they may streamline the process in the future for both Japanese and international fans of this franchise that we all love so dearly!

Like everyone else, I have also been through a lot this past 2 years, and earlier this year I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes which will make it more difficult for me to travel in the future, however I am more determined than ever to do my best to make it to any future Utapri concerts. Utapri has been a part of my life now for about 10 years, and I’m so happy I binged it one day when I was sick in 2011. It led to me meeting some of my closest friends, and it has been so great being a part of this wonderful and forever growing international fanbase through my ShiningLiive blog and admin work on various Utapri zines has been so wonderful. I look forward to following the future of Uta no Prince-sama for as long as I can. If you’ve read this far, thank you! 8th Stage, here I come!

Considering your experience in the field, would you reccomend taking such a taxidermy class to a beginner? I might want to try and find one locally but I am unsure if that may be an unwise idea considering the way your instructors treated you :(

I 100% recommend taxidermy courses, internships, or appreciateships if you want to enter the field at the professional level and/or competitive level. If you're looking to do it as a hobby or don't have a lot of experience, I don't recommend starting out with classes. The reason is that if I wasn't somewhat experienced and self-educated going into the class, I wouldn't have known what he was teaching me wasn't correct. From what I've seen, many beginner courses have this issue. You're only getting one perspective on an art form that has a million answers to the same questions. I find it best to learn on your own first while being open to various ideas and suggestions, then seeking out classes later if you find out you really love it and want to do it as a profession.

Taxidermy (and animal processing in general) is an art form. The most important thing is to practice your craft no matter whether you take the self-education route or take courses. I know pleanty of phenominal taxidermists that are self-educated. I personally work better in a classroom environment and had already spent the last 10 years self-educating. I felt stuck after a while and figured a new perspective and structured environment would help me push past my limitations. I did learn a LOT even though I had a very trifling instructor. It fast-tracked me to being ready to start my business, so it certainly was not a waste. He wasn't the right instructor for me, but I don't regret going and making the best of the situation by taking notes and learning as much as I could.

Also, I don't want anyone to take my experience and assume that's what taxidermy school is like across the board. My experience is not universal, but it's also not uncommon. It's difficult to find good instructors, especially for the younger generations. I've heard some stories far worse then my experience, so I'm just glad I was able to take the class with no major issues. I'm very upset after all the work I did that HE decided to change MY mount, but that was the final straw after the level of unprofessionalism I had experienced the entire week (the unfiltered conversations about race/religion/politics). My advice is to throughly research on the classes you're interested in (read reviews and look at other students work) and deffo talk to people who have also taken classes and had good experiences.

I completed a 4 year honours degree which included writing a thesis, so i am intimately familiar with the writing and editing process. Any paid work I create for you will be your property, I will never reuse or recycle complete works after they have been made for one individual. I will not write the report, but i can give you a detailed synopsis, outline key moments in the story and character development, provide any quotes from the book I would reccomend utilizing, and finally give you an outline of how I would complete the project.

This has a base rate of 15$ for movie projects, and 20$ for books under 200 pages, with potential added costs based on book length and difficulty.

Translation/French Services:

If you need to write something in French but don't want to, write it in English and I will translate the text to French for you!

This service would be 10$ per 500 words.

For French proofreading, the cost is 5$ more for each base rate than the above noted English proofreading service.

NOTE: French is not my first language, though I have been in french immersion courses since preschool and am completely fluent. What are your top ten novels about the Wars of the Roses? And why?

I think it’s obvious by the length how enthusiastic I was to answer this ask xx thank you for asking me and giving me also an opportunity to make a masterlist of some sorts of all my reviews xx. But you know? I speak like quite the expert but in reality I’ve read very little histfic about TWOTR because I just newly got back into this hobby (about a year ago) and have little time in general so tbh the last three books on this list I do not personally care for but since I’ve read so little novels of this kind they are here nonetheless hhh (so please people, give me no angry asks asking me why I am endorsing PG, I’m not).

1. The Last of the Barons by Lord Edward Lytton-Bulwer

This is quite possibly the best book I’ve ever read in my life. The gap between these books and the rest is a chasm the size of the world and I wpuld genuinely reccomend this book as an actual piece of literature to anyone, not just TWOTR fanatics. It is written in 1840, in quite old timey lingo and it centres around Richard Neville 16th Earl of Warwick, but in the true tradition of a real classic it is more than just a character drama, it astutely showcases the purpose of Warwick and what he did in the context of his wider world and doesn’t just chalk it up to personal greed. There is also this fascinating subplot about courtship, science and such. Hell, you even get this eccentric ‘natural philosopher’ guy called Adam Warner who tries to make something like a steam engine and gets employed as an alchemist by Jacquetta and Edward IV.

From a historical standpoint it is quite biased as the author himself was a politician (and an actual baron) and tbh I don’t completely agree with his interpretation of history and I can see some of the Victorian inluences slip in, but some of his takes are very refreshing and he clearly consulted the primary sources. I am much interested in his philosophy and life outlook though and while I don’t think his Warwick is the Warwick, I think he (Lytton-Bulwer) understood him like no other novelist could. As for the writing style... here’s an excerpt of a good reads review that I agree with and tells you all you need to know:

“Of course, such a style of writing no longer exists. The language used is essentially foreign to us. But the nobility, the pride of this story work their ways into your bones, your heart. You will yearn for honor once you have left it.“

Basically, go type it into google and see what I mean. You don’t even need to purchase this book it’s all online at the first click on Gutenberg.

2. The King’s Grey Mare by Rosemary Hawley Jarman

This book (unlike the latter) has zero actual historical value. Actually, it sort of does in the way that it hilights certain real events that most people are unaware of when it comes to its protagonist: Elizabeth Woodville, eg the whole Cooke tapestry affair and the whole Desmond affair. Both things which I still stand on the fence about (if you don’t know what I’m talking about send em another ask or pm me). But like, it isn’t political, philosophical or such in any way like the first book, yet you still feel like you are *there* in the 15th century - by the time I finished reading it my heart was wrung dry and I kind of fell into a down for a couple of days because I just wanted to feel the magic again. If anyone would ask me I would give this 5 stars because it perfectly achieved what it set out to do (I can’t expect all books to go above and beyond like #1), it made me feel for the characters who were super complex, was accurate historically and even when it wasn’t it made sense, it got very creative with its themes (which I like to see because I am not interested in reading the exact same story over and over again) and the prose was absolutely magical and brought all the depth to this novel. I’ve read classics with less flowing and poignant prose, yes actual classics!

This book also switches POVs quite a lot (basically it headhops because it’s written in omniscient- but whatever, rules are meant to be broken), so you’ll get to see many of your faves in there, Edward IV, Margaret of Anjou and Grace Plantagenet feature quite heavily. One thing that disappointed me is that it wasn’t really Edward IV/Elizabeth Woodville (at the time I bought it for that), she never really likes him and his love for her kind of wanes towards the end. If you’re not too bothered about that then I say go buy it.

3. The Daisy and the Bear by K L Clark

I put this here because we are already going into shakier territory when it comes to this list. This is kind of the last *really* good, truly five star one. It is a long spoof about TWOTR but god it’s smart! Yet, It does not take itself seriously and has Margaret of Anjou/Warwick the Kingmaker as a crackship and centrepiece and had me in stitches the whole time. I’ve written a long detailed review for it here.

4. Death be Pardoner to Me by Dorothy Davies

This is a novel about George Duke of Clarence. Quite possibly the only novel ever written about him in existence and boy is it a trip - the author claims to have channelled him (she’s a medium). I’ve written a detailed review for it here. I read this last spring and my views have unfortunately changed, the thing is, I’ve come to find out through my research that this was quite possibly a hoax as there are some indisputable inaccuracies (Ankarette Twynyho’s age, the details of Isabel’s death - we *know* she did not die from childbirth, Isabel did not reunite with him after Tewksbury 1471, but right before Christmas 1470). It’s also quite Richardian (the author admitted) and she could have *had* me had she not chose to divulge it in the foreword. Nevertheless, I still like this book because it did get to me at certain points and it’s good quality as a novel, I remember shedding a tear at one point even which is extremely rare for me but I think that says more about my sentiment for the subject matter than the book itself.

5. We Speak no Treason by Rosemary Hawley Jarman (not yet finished, so ranking may vary)

I haven’t finished it yet, so I’ll leave it here for now. This book is a Richardian book about Richard III, but I can’t get enough of this author, I haven’t found anyone to replace her with. The prose is magnificent as usual and I must confess that I’m happy that this book is told through the POVs of three OCs and not Richard, he remains rather elusive and tbf I find the three OCs very interesting and at this point I’m more interested in their stories than anything else. Of course, Richard III is still a fairly prominent part of this novel (even when he doesn’t appear) and it has led to me getting annoyed quite a bit. Given who I am I fumed massively at that one aside that Clarence and Edward have bastards whereas Richard isn’t like that... like are you serious?? At one point the author reassociated the Games and Playes Chesse book to Richard when it was in reality dedicated to Clarence and I got even more annoyed. Leave the poor figure something ma’am? Whatever, as a book about three medieval commoners it’s fantastic and that’s what I pretend it is.

6. Wife to the Kingmaker by Sandra Wilson

Nothing more to add than what I wrote in my (super-long) detailed review on here. This is the case because I read it very recently. This is a novel about Anne Beauchamp 16th Countess of Warwick, it’s ranked higher than Sunne because though it’s less accurate it’s got panache.

7. The Sunne in Splendour by Sharon K Penman

I feel very strongly about this Richard III book and what it represents. I wrote a long detailed review about it on here and a follow-up post on the discussion is here ft my awesome mutual @beardofkamenev ‘s insights also thrown into the mix. Xx

8. The White Queen by Philippa Gregory

This is a step higher than the other two because this book pretty much changed my life. The thing is, I read it translated into my own language by an extremely talented translator and I was also only about 11/12 years old so it was all very impressive to me then. This book about Elizabeth Woodville effectively introduced me to the TWOTR; an interest that has never really left me these past ten years (though at one point (ages 14-19) it was quite wane). It’s not a good book by any standard (I was quite shocked when picking it up at a bookstore, I had found that when read in the original language it lost all its magic), but I owe a lot to it and some people who now endlessly discourse about how bad PG is need to recognise their debt of gratitude and be a bit more respectful, I think. That is of course unless you came into this era via different media, but you got to admit that a massive part of us got to this place through TWQ, though we outgrew it.

10. The Red Queen and The Kingmaker’s Daughter by Philippa Gregory

Exact same commentary as above, just objectively not good books. Flat characterisation, misunderstanding of the era, historical innacuracies which don’t add anything, lack of nuance in prose which often dances too close to *gasp* YA prose *shudders*. But these are lower because I don’t owe them a debt of gratitude as I do TWQ. Funnily enough, they are still better than the series.

The Visit: A Jason Todd x Reader Fic

For @nat-wing . One of my best friends, one of my guiding lights, and the person who dragged me into Batman hell. Enjoy.

"Human kindness, gentlemen, is made for the purses of millionaires. With financial power like mine, you can afford yourself a new world order..."

*THUD*

The sound of a backpack crashing next to you jolted you out of the line of the play you were reading. Raising your head to see the source of the noise, you met eyes with your new friend, Jason. Jason Todd.

"What's wrong, y/n, you look like you just saw a ghost" Jason let out, immediately following with a light chuckle and a half-smile. Taking seat next to you at the park bench, Jason started to open up the backpack, revealing a copy of the same book you had. The Visit by Friedrich Durrennmat.

"So, how do you like it thus far?" Jason inquired. You took a look up towards his face and despite his chisled facial features, the thing that always caught your attention were his eyes. The striking sapphire blue eyes allured as much as it frightened. Beneath the mask of the handsome face of the playboy heir of the Wayne Conglomerate and adoptive son of Bruce Wayne hid a maelstrom. A violent sea of torrential anger and oppressive hatred. His eyes have always frightened you, but you never judged Todd for anything because he's always treated you with the respect you've afforded him.

"It's interesting Jason" you let out. You couldn't help but be intimidated by his presence. Here you are, a lonely bachelor living in a converted tenament in Gotham City, a barista, reading a Swiss play with one of Gotham's biggest socialites. Jason came into your cafè seemingly every day, mentioned how the espresso is his favorite in all of Gotham. Some days he came in for a quick coffee run, dressed to the bones like he's about to attend a charity event, others he came in and sat down, getting lost in a book, wearing sweatpants and a signature red or black hoodie.

"Only interesting?" Jason had inquired. Indeed, The Visit had been a fascinating, but difficult read. Following the story of an eclectic billionairess in her twilight years named Claire Zachannasan, coming back to her home town hell bent on it's destruction and rebirth. You had just entered the play's third and final act when Jason arrived.

"In some ways, Claire reminds me of you Jason." You chuckle. You pay extra attention to see how his face reacts to such a bold statement. His face contorts into half-hearted shock, but his eyes are smiling. Prideful, it seems he got the results he wanted. You almost lost yourself in his handsome face with boyish hair when you felt the coastal winds of the park beach alongside the Gotham Oceanfront Jason had requested to meet you at.

"And what makes you say that?" Jason had pushed, bringing his arm away from the book and stretching it across to your side of the bench, his arm was extended behind your back and easily could have wraped one arm around you. And Jason's arms were quite large. Hell, the man himself almost came to challenge Bruce in terms of physique. All of his adoptive brothers were always the more slim, athletic, graceful builded ones. Jason was built like a statue, imposing muscles matched only with an imposing barrel of a chest. You thought to yourself what it would be like to feel those ripling muscles under his red hoodie and modestly branded jeans.

"Well, for starters, Claire is a billionaire, as are you." you said, noting Jason's left eyebrow cock, "well, heir to a billionaire in your case." You corrected. "There is a very pretinant theme of justice throughout the play. It's clear to tell that by using the power and wealth that she has aquired, Claire hopes to enact her own brand of justice." You had listed off. Looking to see Jason's response, you saw a smile begin to purse on his lips. This time of acceptance. It seems you gave Jason the satisfactory answer.

"Very good." Jason had smiled. "But, forgive me for asking, y/n, why do you think I care so much about justice?" Manipulation. Although you can tell Jason's interest and inquirery is genuine, you can tell he has ulterior motives in asking you this question. However you cannot ascertain why. You took a look in his eyes but only met the hurricane making landfall on a beach, threatening to consume all in it's might surge. His face is telling you to explain and ponder further, but his eyes indicate that of a predator about to snap at your jugular.

"I uh.. well." You stammered. Only soon to realize Jason had wrapped his arm securely around you, this gesture would have been romantic given any other context, but knowing what you know about Jason Todd and reading his mannerisms, you felt like a deer in headlights. You were frightened, but also enchanted. Jason's arm was heavy and strong, but not forceful, it was more securing than anything. It made you feel like you were protected from even Gotham's worst.

"Don't worry, y/n, I'm joking, I'm sorry if I intimidated you. But I'm glad you're liking the play, it became a favorite of mine recently." Jason stated.

"So you do relate to Claire." You poked, Jason had scoffed and retorted.

"I never said I did." Jason stated quite matter of factly. Having said that, Jason pulled you closer to him, to the point that your thighs were touching and you were pressed up against his side. You gave out a light gasp. Shocked at Jason's suddenness. "I'm hope I'm not making you uncomfortable, y/n." Jason apologized, the sincerity was genuine. Jason may have been able to play people like the fiddle, as you have seen from interactions at the cafè. However you sensed no malitious intent from the billionare. "I want you to know I like you a lot, y/n. You make the best Cafè Americcanos, and you actually listen to people when I reccomend 1950's swiss literature to them."

Hearing the last line made you laugh a little. You soon felt yourself subconsciously pressing laying your head along Jason Todd's powerful chest. It was just as you had imagined it. Powerful and secure. As you listened to his heart beat, you couldn't help but notice the extreme radiant warmth coming from Jason. With one arm wrapped around you, you felt like you had your own supersoldier their to protect you. "Thank you Jason, I like you a lot as well." You laugh as you made yourself comfortable enwraped in the massive man. To think you, a lonely kid from the suburbs found your way into the arms of one of the heirs of Wayne Enterprises. You, you felt like a nobody compared to Jason Peter Todd. However, one thing continued to bother you, and you wanted an answer.

"Jason, can I ask you something?" You had let into the atmosphere.

"Sure y/n, ask away." Jason had invited.

"Do you hate being a Wayne? Do you hate Bruce?" You raised your head to see the face not a couple inches in front of you and saw a crack in the visage. You made the mistake of focusing on his eyes again and realized just what you had done and what situation you landed yourself in. Beneath the mask you saw exactly what you had hypothesized. Inside the eyes of Jason Todd you saw rage. Hot, blinding, searing rage. You weren't in the arms of an angel any longer, you were in the claws of an apex predator.

"What." Jason had said blankly. It seemed his face alluded to more shock than anger. You craacked the façade and found what lies beneath, and you were afraid. However, curiosity forced you to try to dive deeper.

"To be candid with you, y/n, I do have a lot of anger towards my family, but at the end of the day, they are my family." Jason stated politically. You can tell this was a diversion to try to end the conversation. Realizing just the situation you were in it was for the best that Jason was giving you a get-out-of-Arkham-free-card. "But I will say, you are devilishly inquisitive y/n. How did you deduce that?"

"There's a lot of anger in your eyes Jason, you're bottling up a lot of anger and I don't think it can be healthy for you." You stated. You felt Jason give a hearty laugh as your head bounced from his chest. You didn't even take the opportunity to breath him in while you were down on his chest. The aromas of tobacco, dried sweat, and overtly expensive colonge studded with tonka and sandalwood tickled your nose.

"I guess you're right..." You can tell Jason had more he wanted to admit, but was interupted by the vibration of his phone. Taking a look to see who was calling. Jason let out a groan. You pushed yourself up off of his chest and gave Jason the space to answer the call in privacy.

'what is it Dick I'm busy... Really, now..? Ugh, fine. I'll be there in 10. Tell Bruce he owes me for this.' with that Jason ended the call and heaved himself off the park bench. "I'm so sorry Y/n but a family emergency came up." Jason said, as he made his way back towards the enterance of the park, you exchanged your farewell with the handsome man you just had an exchange with. Before you left, Jason had yelled out "you want an answer to your question? Keep reading the play." Jason had finished. Noting what he had said you opened The Visit back to the exact spot you had left off. As you finished the line by the elder Claire Zachannasan you felt ice run down your veins. Suddenly you felt an intense fear at the thought of Jason by this last sentence.

"The world turned me into a whore, so I shall turn the world into a brothel."
