The recent breakthroughs in the Object Overload franchise: past and present

Hello again! This is Rabbit (Blue Tennis Ball on Fandom) here to update you with stuff regarding Object Overload yet again. This won't just include stuff regarding Object Overload's inspirations, but also some new stuff regarding the upcoming series. This is another long post, so of course details are below.

So first off, let's talk about the upcoming series (tentative series title), which is the reboot of Object Overload that was announced in back in 2022. We have discovered that not only have the characters featured in the "Object Overload is Back" teaser are in the cast of the new reboot, but we found out where the confirmations of everyone besides those characters as well as Snow Globe and Lighter came from: the BIAS Club server.

Additionally, Niall has posted updated renders to the server for Clock and Casey, although I cannot find confirmation that Casey is in in spite of it. These are what the new renders look like.

As for reconfirmations, it has been confirmed no new characters will be in the upcoming series, meaning Light Switch and PB&J are not in the roster.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Dusty will not be in the cast in the EPICORE Club server.

And so has Ping Pong Ball, who was a popular character among the contestants not in the 2015 series.

Toothy will be officially voiced by WebzForevz, which me and angelli are worried about considering it would be hard to imagine Toothy with anything but a squeaky voice, but Cutiesunflower has told us Webz might pull a high-pitched voice with Toothy, considering Webz's wide range of voices.

Also, Melony, notable for her consistent deaths, will either die less frequently or not at all in the new reboot.

Now, onto stuff regarding the older Object Overload content, the EPICORE Club server is where we found this nifty concept art of Toothy, and both that server and BIAS Club has an explanation for this.

According to Niall, Toothy was a failed attempt at physically cloning Cursor, a character from Goldenzoomi's old object show "Land of the Objects". On Zoomi's channel banner at the time, Cursor could have been seen poking in the rightmost corner, and Niall believed that Cursor was a tooth because of it.

There's also the fact that the more violent scenes in Object Overload, such as Melony's deaths, were inspired by Kenny from South Park, Happy Tree Friends, and Final Destination.

And also, it's not Kite who was the first character created. It was Globe all along.

To cheer the incredible return of Object Overload, i'm dumping some of my hcs from it here ;) 1. Everytime either Snowglobe or Casey invite Popcorn to hang out, she will innocently come over with the other and it ends up on a full blown competition to get her attention. 2. Sometimes Fly Swat won't get in Toothy's and co shenanigans, so he ends up taking care of whatever injuries they end up getting. 3. Toaster is a cereal killer
