"Your club sounds like such a hassle," Josie noted. "You're the boss. Why can't you find people to lighten your load?"
"Finding good help is hard. Everyone wants to get paid, but no one wants to actually work. At the end of the day, I still end up responsible for everything," Harvey complained.
"That sounds like a drag," Josie sympathized.
"Yeah, well, story of my life."
"Maybe I should help you out?" Josie offered. "I'm very good with people, you know."
"Hmm, I'm sure, but why would you want to spend your time on that?" Harvey paused. He hasn't actually told Josie it was a strip club that he owned yet and he had a feeling she won't take it the best way. And he certainly didn't want her knowing about the other "business" of the club just yet... maybe if things got a little more serious between them?
"So that you'd have more time," she grinned.
"I've got plenty of time now," he smiled.

Haley's Circus visits Gotham when Bruce is 18. The Graysons fall, leaving their toddler an orphan, and the circusmaster whispers something about the Court of Owls before booking it out of Gotham and leaving baby Dickie behind.
Alfred takes in Dick and Bruce is all fired up to investigate this Court of Owls. He always knew there was something seedy about Gotham and he's determined to get to the bottom of this!
Featuring: baby Dickie as the most adorable little toddler; teenage!Bruce in full detective mode but without any training; the Rogues as a grad student support group that are mainly trying to survive higher education while keeping their precocious friend from ending up in a dumpster.
Harvey: so whose turn is it to follow Bruce this weekend?
Crane: I have an exam on Monday, not it.
Pamela: I need to be in the greenhouse this weekend.
Edward: if I have to watch him try to stalk Falcone one more time I'm going to scream.
Dickie: don't be sad! here, sticker!
Everyone: :coos:
Harvey: wait, why are we watching the toddler? where's Bruce?
Harley: oh, I saw Dickie in the trees hiding from some people in owl masks, so I grabbed him.
Harvey: ...but Halloween's not until October?

Jazz: And that's why we need your help in taking my brother's custody away from Vlad Masters.
Two Face, former DA and NOT a family lawyer: Kid, I don't know how to tell you this...
Jazz, deflating with a sad puppy look on her face:
Two Face: Fuck it, where does the bastard live, kid? I'll get your brother back.

Drew a lot of genderbends and actually named them. I'm naming them for my own convenience, and bc it's fun to look at baby name sites :'D
Elizabeth "Birdie" Wayne was a hard pick bc Brucine or Bryce are right there, but the nickname "Birdie" to correspond to "Brucie" is SO cute I couldn't pass it up.
For my Fem!Jason, she's p masc-leaning, so I wanted a fancy sounding name that she just refuses to use.
"Dixie" was always going to happen. Idk how she ended up with that nickname in-universe, but it's SO damn cute I couldn't not use it.
"Tracy" Drake is a subtle reference to Dick Tracy :D
Fem!Damian went through quite a few diff names before I settled on Damiah. It's literally just "Damian" with a tall "N" ya'know? Also it's really pretty
Duke -> Duchess is pretty self explanatory.
"Ra's al Ghul" is a title that means Head of the Demon, so there's no need to rename her.
Jeanne-Marie was hard to pick, because Jean-Paul is a very french/christian name, and I wanted to keep the hyphenated name AND those themes, and ultimately I couldn't come up with anything else that fit that still sounded nice. Low key a reference to Joan of Arc/Jeanne D'arc.
Odile Cobblepost because Odile is the name of a famous swan-girl. Bird pun.
Rowan is just Roman with an upside down M :'D
The rest p much have no specific thought process beyond "yay that's close enough!" or "I like how that sounds!"
