I just recently found out that Jon actually has two crows named "Craw" and "Nightmare" (Kudos to Mistress of Fear for the info!), so as the Crow and Raven lover that I am, I had to sketch Jonathan and his birbs.

I did try to use the cell shading, which I have improved, but certainly it shows it is still out of my comfort zone hahaha.

I did base of his design of some of the comic looks and Maxwell as I kinda did shoot myself in the foot by not drawing my version of Jonathan first, but oh well XD. Likewise, I did want to keep him Ginger as outside The Dark Knight (aka my intro to Jonathan) is the iconic Batman the Animated series. I prefer his S2 design, but i enjoyed his episodes but I wished he was on more.

I did originally thought about drawing him in a funny incorrect quote I found, but it might go into another day, although I finally got the idea for Jonathan x my OC (Elizabeth) drawing too. I can't 100% guarantee I'll get this done as I am a very busy buzz person (who does get hit with depresso mood swings, but I'll do my best)

Higuruma Hiromi knew he was truly in love when you successfully convinced him to watch horrifically cheesy reruns of Law and Order while he was the one stuck at home sick. He groaned dramatically at every exaggeration or incorrect legal quote, but he enjoyed how you snuggled into his side too much to actually complain about the situation. After all, you were kind enough to take care of him, and his mild illness had not deterred your affection in the slightest. 

He had almost fallen asleep on the couch when you cocked your head at the antics on the television, murmuring under your breath, “Wouldn’t that qualify as Malum in se, though?” 

Hiromi blinked once, twice, and then a third time before speaking, “I’m sorry, what?” 

You turned to face your boyfriend, tone slightly teasing, “Yeah, Malum in se, right? Things like assault, murder… or wearing white after Labor Day.” 

Hiromi arched an eyebrow at you and treated you to the lopsided grin you adored so much. “You’re going to have to tell me how you know what that is.” 

He snaked his arms around you, pulling you even closer against his warm chest. Before you could answer, he took the chance to nuzzle his nose against the column of your neck, sending you into a fit of giggles.

“Well, pretty girl?” He teased gently, and you dropped your head back against his shoulder, humming contentedly.

“Do you remember when I mentioned I used to do community theatre a few years ago?” You questioned, and you could feel Higuruma's grin grow wider.

“Indeed, I do.”

“Well…. There was one time when I played a character who happened to be a law student.” You pursed your lips, trying to keep laughter from bubbling up. 

Hiromi broke into a barking laugh that became a short coughing fit. “You played a law student? What kind of musical involves lawyers?” he wheezed. 

“It’s called Legally Blonde, and it’s not just a musical… It’s a masterpiece.” You insisted. “I loved the movie when I was a young girl, and getting to play Elle- the main character- was an absolute dream come true.” 

Your eyes lit up as an idea sparked into your brain with the strength of a thunderbolt, “Omigod, you’ve never seen the movie, have you? We absolutely have to watch it.” 

Hiromi chuckled weakly, running his hand through your hair, “I’ve got a better idea… There have to be clips of your performance somewhere, right?” 

“Oh….” you paused for a moment, “It was a few years ago, and I’m sure it wasn’t my best work, but-” 

“There’s nothing I’d rather see than you enjoying yourself and doing what you love,” Hiromi interrupted gently, stroking your hair again.

His lopsided grin turned wolfish,  “Besides… I am sick; I think this is exactly what I need to heal.” 

“If you insist.” You smacked him gently with a pillow to punctuate your words as you left the couch to rummage through the DVDs on the shelf. You even took the time to make another mug of tea for your boyfriend, but eventually, you were back and snuggled up against Hiromi, who gratefully accepted the mug you offered him. 

His nose wrinkled unintentionally as he took a sip, “Thank you… but what is in this stuff?” 

“It’s helping your throat, isn’t it? You poked his stomach playfully, and he groaned in response. 

“Yes, but at what cost?” Hiromi huffed, but the slight twinkle in his eyes told you he wasn’t being serious. 

“It’s throat coat tea, yet another remnant from my musical days,” you giggled. “I never liked the taste either, but it certainly gets the job done.” 

With another flourish of the remote, you pulled up the recording of the show, and you swear you could feel Hiromi smiling behind you as he nursed the warm mug. As soon as the video started, he broke out into another laughter-induced coughing fit. 

“Dear god, I’ve never seen so much pink in my entire life.” 

“Oh, just you wait.” You threatened teasingly, “You haven’t even seen my character yet.” 

Hiromi grasped his mug in one hand and used his other arm to pull you back against his chest, wrapping a blanket snugly around your body. You leaned fully against him, partially because you enjoyed the intimacy and partly because you wanted to see his reactions out of the corner of your eye. 

His reactions did not disappoint, even though the video was grainy and clearly meant to be viewed through the rose-colored lenses of someone who was in the show. Hiromi grinned widely when you appeared on stage, murmuring almost too quietly for you to hear, “Cute…” 

You blushed happily, and the show continued. He had many comments on how the Delta Nus seemed to share a hive mind and how much of a prick Warner was. He also very nearly choked on his tea when your character’s father proudly declared, “Law school is for boring, ugly, serious people!” 

Hiromi glanced down at you after that line with a slight pout, and you took the opportunity to cup his cheek and pull him in for a soft kiss, tasting the tea and honey on his lips. “Mmm, don’t worry… You’re not boring, and you’re certainly not ugly. You can be rather serious… but I like that about you.” 

Hiromi kissed the top of your head with a low, contented hum, absolutely convinced his heart was full enough to burst. He fell more in love with you with each passing day, and these past few days had only further sealed his fate. Even now, he was watching you sing and dance your heart out, and you were shining in the roll. The sassy, playfully cute, but deceptively intelligent lawyer was such a perfect role for you, and he quickly became frustrated with Warner. Seeing you so upset over such a stupid man hurt his heart, even though he knew you were acting…. and then Emmett was introduced. 

“Now, I like that guy. He’s got the right idea, actually treating Elle decently.” Hiromi mused, playfully twirling a strand of your hair. 

“Oh, really?” You grinned slyly. “He reminds me of you, you know.”  

“It seems we share the same excellent taste in women.”

The movie was over a short while later, but Hiromi insisted on letting it play through curtain call so he could properly applaud your work. You rolled over to lay against his chest, peering inquisitively into his dark, beautiful eyes, “So you really liked it?” 

“I loved it,” He assured you, pulling you in for another tea-flavored kiss. Suddenly, you could feel him grinning against your lips, “And I may buy you another one of those pink tweed skirt sets… it was cute on you.” 

His deep chuckle only grew louder as you smacked him with another pillow.

Hello!! I don't usually post stuff on this blog but I just wanted to ask

How's the Sanders Sides fandom doing??

Are we still alive?? Cause while I left the fandom some time ago (after being completely immersed for 3 years) I recently found myself coming back into it and I'm really sad to find not a lot of creators or new content recently. I know that there hasn't been lotsa canon content but c'mon guys!

Where are the aus, comics, animatics?? Incorrect quotes?? Fanfics?? You can't tell me I'm the only one who misses the booming community! It really felt like a family back then and I really miss that, it seems not so many people are into it, or even find it cringe!

Honestly for a while, I did too, but then I realised, do I find it cringe, or do I not want people to think I'm cringe cause I like it?? And hey, it makes me happy, so why not??

Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough and it's still alive? Anyways it's evident that it's not as big as it used to be, and that's really sad!

I'd love to see that community once more and sincerely hope it sticks around! I wonder if there's anything the tss community can to to kickstart the fandom and get it up and running again!

I've been in this fandom so long, theres been so much amazing talent throughout it, i just know ive missed so many people. But here's a few places to start, anon!

Alright, here's an explanation (post version):

So this is something I wouldn't usually say publicly because I don't really like telling and sharing my personal stuff online, especially on social places like tumblr or others because of how people usually react to someone feeling or saying anything about themselves. Also because I rather vent stuff in rather than bothering everyone close to me online about it. But I feel like making an exception just this once because this is actually about my tumblr blog.

So on my blog I've been doing all kinds of stuff over the past few years, artworks (both digital and traditional), text post, memes, incorrect quotes, and so on. And don't get me wrong I enjoyed it, I was happy with it, but in recent times I really feel like I've done nothing but make some low effort garbage that people only viewed or liked out of pity and nothing else. I feel like I've slowly changed from a someone eager to share their love and interest for their favorite fandoms to an annoying little shithead that won't stop yapping about anything (be it headcanons, AUs, ships) regarding their fandoms.

Especially when the stuff they waffle about aren't even as good as to what other people do. Artwork? everyone else had done better artwork of their favorite hyperfixations, character fanart, ship fanart, you name it? then it's guaranteed that everyone else done it better. Text post? everyone has made ones that are much better than mine, some even I based or took inspiration from (which is pretty much stealing I think). Memes or meme redraws? again mine looks like something out of the early 2000s compared to others. Incorrect quotes? god I can't believe that these are what I started with and are what 90% of my blog is about, yet I can't even get them right or being good at least. And those are just the basics, picture this people usually make artwork to show their love towards something they like and usually show others why they like or spread the popularity of their favorite thing, well guess who fucking sucks at that aspect as well? Showing my love towards my favorite fandom though artwork or text or quotes? awful at it, you would think I was young kid who just got introduced to them, trying to increase the popularity of an otherwise underrated or unknown fandom of mine? suck at it, just showing an image of them would've done a better job promoting each series, what about trying to seem like an active fan and participating in trends or events within the fandom? well me not being able to follow an 'art week' thing and being late to a redraw trend should be a clear sign as to how that goes.

And that's the reason why I wanna end myself I've been feeling so terrible about myself lately, I feel like trash about not being able to do the stuff I wanted to do whether it's artwork, text post, or even interacting with others.

In terms of artwork and meme redraws I just wanna see my vision come to life be that in the artstyle, the position/posing, or look/quality, but I can't due to limitations and whatnot. That's why I'm always eager to see art from others, but I know everyone's got other things to worry about, it's also why I feel like an absolute leecher whenever I ask or even request any of my artist mutuals anything their art is so much better than mine and I hate how I couldn't even mimick a fraction of their quality. It just makes me feel sick that I considered myself the same to them, I have done nothing worthy like them yet I always try to fit in as an 'artist' among actual real ones.

In terms of text post and incorrect quotes, I don't even know why any of you liked those, or even reblogging them. I've seen people put genuine care and effort into their headcanons, AUs, fanfics, even incorrect quotes and yet here I am saying the dumbest ideas and thoughts ever. Not only are they so bad, so low effort, and so braindead to read for any rational human being, but they are just so not funny, like at all like please fucking make it stop, I mean from what you'd probably seen on others you'd at least expect me to be another one of those it's so bad it's funny kind of stuff, but no, I just keep making dishwasher slop over and over and people are liking them, why? why are you all doing this to yourselves? you'd have a better time watching the series my stuff is about than liking and reblogging it.

Again, this is really something I've kept hidden and I've only now talked about with one of my mutuals, but I feel the need to make this just so I can say from the bottom of my heart:

Oh my word there’s still an LL fandom on here????!!!! I’m rereading the books after a couple years, and was a bit saddened to find that most of the fandom fell away after the series had ended (bc I actually only read the books for the first time when the entire series had been published for years), but you post regularly and reblog regularly, so yay, it seems that people are still here!!! After years of loving these books and rereading them I’d love to finally join the fandom— any blogs you’d recommend I follow, ppl who are still into LL and active at least every couple months? (I’d say ‘acgive regularly’ if I was a normal-ish person, but I’m rarely online, so I don’t mind people who post sporadically too— in fact I almost prefer that, you get me?). Anyways ahhh tldr I’m so glad other people are still obsessing over these aliens lol, like super happy :D

Hey hey, welcome to the fandom!! Yeah we're still here, it kinda gets a bit quiet now and again with all of us being busy, but the fandom is still around and kicking!

Most LL fans as far as I'm aware post about the series on their main blogs that have frequent activity, so if you don't mind following people that post any kind for a while but have something LL related now and again, this would be your option. If you wanna chat them up about the series then I would say @kip-loric @biddybaboop @simpforsix are very active and occasionally share LL art or incorrect quotes or memes!

If you are looking for LL blogs, I would say @5s-missing-eye and @apocalx post on occasion, but they're super passionate about the characters and have tons of interesting aus and headcanons and book thoughts to read through!

Kip currently has a Gem AU with the Garde that you can ask them about if you happen to know about Steven Universe, and both them and apocalx have LL OCs who are Human Garde with some detailed backstories and personalities!

I usually just follow the lorien legacies tag and find stuff from there, and once in a blue moon you get a new person come out and post some art or incorrect quotes or fanfic ideas for a while! as much as I love season 3 for the scoops troop i think how Steve was depicted there really fuelled the "Steve is just a dumb himbo 😝" thing because they made him act dumber for some reason? and people just clung onto that

HMM yeah honestly i think it's that like. he acts entirely the same but the worst parts of fandom tend to be the most annoying bastardising people on earth and will strip a character of everything they are in order to mass produce frothy content with no substance because a character that is two dimensional and easily trope-ified can be then easily marketable replicatable and therefore accessible in fan content. like they don't have to think of his actual characterisation or ANYONE'S!!! because they're reducing the character to a small handful of generalised traits in order to make Incorrect Character Quote blogs or something. ummm i don't think steve has ever even once been a "himbo" i think that's a ridiculous term for small hearted people + he is the victim of his own comedy relief + it's like the easiest thing in the world to be like "i'm not saying he's dumb to be mean he's dumb and i love it 😂" so no one cares to like think about that a little bit let alone anyone who claims to Really Understand Him bc they would have to acknowledge they're using a weird mindset there, at least potentially...

like yeah he's a little behind on some things and is the asks silly questions guy but it's honestly just so fucking MEAN to me to hold him to shit like that entirely as someone who thinks in very similar ways like okay you're hurting my feelings a little bit here sorry. also his questions and Dumb Moments aren't even that fucking insane like not to be the steve fan who is constantly defending a tv show character but oh my god who gives a shit he asked if the stupid scifi villain was a vampire because he could have been a fucking vampire SHUT UPPPPPP. also parallel thinking and delayed processing etc like this is such a common trait in a line with neurodivergent behaviour TBH like seriously think about what you're implying here!!! honestly people really show their hand in equating intelligence with worth let alone intelligence with just knowing dumb shit when that's just memorisation and recollection. anyone can do that and you're just being fucking rude tbh 😑.

ALSO like, objectively, people are missing the point of the character misdirects here imo... :0 in the words of joe keery himself it takes a little bit for him to get there but he still GETS THERE, also honestly i DO think he is still in general not actually The Silly Stupid Bimbo One i think he has and always WILL be the Normal One who reacts to things Normally he is just surrounded by the worlds most precocious genius children and precocious genius other teens and their very lives depend on figuring things out and he struggles making those particular connections which is in fact, again, Entirely Normal, because he lives in a world where monsters exist. i've compared him to like an isekai'd character before because of it LOL. STEVE in particular is also literally half the time The One in the midst helping figure things out and it's CRAZY if his character season 3 in particular is helping this particular Silly Himbo phenomena because i honestly think he is his most... assured? helpful? in season 3? he helps with the code even though he Try As He Might can't learn an ENTIRE LANGUAGE with a different alphabet in like two days, HE identifies the song in the recording and deduces it means the code came from the mall itself, he makes logical leaps and on the fly thinking moves in order to get himself and the people he's trying to help out of dangerous situations a dozen different times + his street smarts are still SMARTS. one of the most important parts of his character TO ME is that he is smart in OTHER WAYS to highlight that you Can be helpful + important without being like a fucking MENSA child. and it just feels cheap and silly to call him a HIMBO after that... it doesn't come off as "aw but i love it" as people think at least From Some People, and To Me. i also don't really think they like, MADE him dumb or anything in season 3 in particular i think fanonisation has just rotted his actual characterisation away :(

i think like objectively here ppl calling him dumb and being like I Love It!!! don't mean anything by it and the word himbo is like, fine, and i also say that he's silly and i DO love it he IS my little dumby but that is also because he is in the same way i am and really at the end of the day we're both Not actually stupid. and really what i mean when i say it is he's funny and i love him and i love his silly moments bc i get it i get it so much i would say that too. i also think ppl trying to combat this in particular to prove he is actually INCREDIBLY intelligent are also missing the mark a little (imo) i think he's just normal and has different strengths <3. also, to try and make a certain trait lovable people need to realise they can just come off incredibly condescending or even dehumanising and ESPECIALLY, to wrap it all back around to the reason i was talking about this, applying false diagnostic criteria for like learning disabilities or disorders in order to "explain" why he's Dumb to you will end up coming off just oh. so ableist. especially from neurotypical and allistic people.

Hi hello everyone. So I really didn’t think I’d be making a post like this because I never thought this would happen, but unfortunately my blog Seventeenlosers/incorrect7teen has been deleted.
