okay, here's the better run down on mafia!Soap as promised (as well as his fem!nurse!Reader gf <3)

like it's sorta referenced in canon, Soap is the youngest of Price's closest circle. he used to do freelance work as a programmer/hacker and got hired by the wrong crowd trying to steal some of Price's information. impressed, Price actually offered the man a job and he took it mostly because Price paid better. stayed because he also grew to like the man.

people legit call the man Soap in this universe too because he can clean hardware and information like no one's business. otherwise, they'll just call him by his last name or Johnny.

has an odd dynamic with Simon in this universe. more of like his annoying little brother than a good friend. they get along fine, but they don't really interact much outside of work. he's actually really close friends with Kyle, though. the two play games together sometimes, and Soap of course teaches him how to torrent games because fuck activision <3

he's got a few piercings. simple ear lobe piercings that he usually wears simple studs in, but he also has a tongue piercing. just the classic, straight through with a simple bar. he got it because he's a fucking munch

i feel like he wouldn't get many more tattoos than what he already has in canon ngl. if he does, they're def something stupid as fuck that have no meaning. something he probably got due to a dare, or while he was insanely inebriated.

he also doesn't have as many scars as he does in canon. certainly not the one on his chin. he def played football when he was younger, and still likes to play skirmishes every now and then. he also lifts on the regular. sure, he's tech savvy, but he goes fucking insane having to sit around too much, so going for a run or hitting the gym is a really good way to get his energy out!

while he doesn't have too many scars, he still is getting himself hurt a lot. not because he's clumsy or anything, he just really, really, really wants to ensure that something gets done right whenever he's sent out to do "field work." usually ends up with a TBI because of it lmfao.

being an ER nurse, you saw a lot of weird shit at the hospital, especially on day shift. then you had this loud man with a huge gash on his head and a suspected concussion roll through the door and honestly you're just glad it wasn't another damn car accident. you were tired of looking at compound fractures.

at first you have a hard time telling if he's being a creep or not. commenting on your scrubs, how he likes the color, but honestly you've heard worse. but it is sort of cute. he's so loopy he's got this dog-like excitement to him and has a hard time focusing on anything in particular. it's more innocent than anything else.

he falls in love with you the moment you bring him a snack (some shitty and dry saltines and a cup of water). he devours one of the crackers like it's crack and thanks you with his mouth half full.

that's when he gets the bright idea to give you his number. a simple thanks isn't enough for the kind gift you've given him! he's got to let you know that he's down to do anything for you! so if anyone fucks with you, if you need someone taken care of give him a call. he won't ask any questions!

kyle is fucking mortified, hiding his face in the corner of the room, but you just smile and kindly take the piece of paper with his scribbled number.

of course you don't actually text or call him. he was a patient of yours, and that's just breaking so many rules! and you certainly don't need anyone to be taken care of. so you leave it be. despite how adorable his loopy smile was or how pretty his eyes were or... christ, you need to throw that scrap paper away.

and Johnny? well, he forgets all about you. not on purpose or anything, the poor man was hardly conscious when he met you, and he only interacted with you briefly. so imagine his surprise when him and Kyle are out on the town and the man points you out to him asking if you ever ended up texting him.

Geralt is the captain of a pirate ship, named "Kaer Morhen." Perhaps he's still a witcher, perhaps he's just a regular old human (with white hair and golden eyes? Lol) His brothers (and "cousins" from other witcher schools) are his crew Now I can see this going two different ways, so choose a favorite (or make up your own, I am only the beginning, I hold no affront of being anything more) Jaskier is a nobleman's son, aboard his family's ship, possibly on his way to be forced into a marriage to a woman he doesn't love. And either he falls overboard or he's shoved off as a murder attempt, but he's lost in the ocean. Lambert (or someone else, but I love to imagine how Lambert would attempt to call this out to his captain who he doesn't take seriously 90% of the time, #brothers) calls that he spots a man bobbing in the sea, and they haul him up. The majority of the crew sees sight of his jewels and finery and insists on holding him ransom. But when the prisoner wakes up and isn't afraid of death, Geralt looks into this a little more. Apparently their prisoner won't get a ransom because his entire family despise him and his want to run away and become a bard. Funny. Most pirate ships have entertainers aboard to help the pirates deal with months of nothing but ocean. Perhaps they'll have use of this dumb twink after all. OR, option number two Jaskier is a nobleman's son, chained and starved for the crime of wanting to become a bard and not wanting to marry some prissy noblewoman. He hears a lot of loud noises and screams and then a bunch of burly men in fur cloaks stomp down and start rifling through their supplies. One catches eye of him and immediately yells to the captain. The captain is a very handsome man with silver locks and bright eyes, and the dreaded pirate captain is treating Jaskier with more kindness and gentleness than his family or their workers ever have. The pirate hauls Jaskier up into his arms and carries him to their own ship, laying him down in his own bed, and looking over his injuries and sending one of his crewmembers to make hm a fine meal. Jaskier begins telling the captain of his abusive life beforehand and mentions that all he's ever wanted is to spread music and love, and shockingly enough, this big scary (gorgeous) man doesn't even laugh at him for it.. Oh fuck he's falling in love-

1: How do you kidnap/capture your OC?

That depends, because Kage already has history with someone. Lily to be exact-- or August, as he knows her. In the event of her kidnapping him (again), it would go over surprisingly smoothly, with an uncharacteristic lack of struggle and resistance from him.

What would likely happen is that one day, while he's alone, Lily would show up at the penthouse he lives in, and knowing that he doesn't remember what she's done to him, she would ask if he wants to take a walk while they catch up. While they take the elevator down, Lily will make her move, restraining Kage's arms behind his back, and using the jacket he usually wears to cover up her work. She'd threaten tell him not to act out, to which he'd comply, as he starts getting a weird uncanny feeling about all of this. Once he's in the car, he'd get blindfolded, and off they'll go! (And then some of his memories will resurface and trigger a panic attack! :D!)

2: Are they defiant? Scared? Stoic?

It depends on who's doing the torturing, for the most part. But, assuming it's Lily, Kage would be mostly confused and scared. He'd try to hide this by acting stoic and maybe even a little defiant on occasion, but it wouldn't take much to put him back in his place if need be. Thankfully, to his benefit, Lily doesn't mind a little bit of pushback. In fact, she quite enjoys it.

If it were somebody else, he'd be more bold in his defiance. Verbally berating his captor(s), spitting on them, attempting to land a blow on them, constant attempts to escape, all the way down to things as simple as a smug look after a session. Of course, this is all still done to mask his fear. How long that mask will last, and how effective it is, is another question for another day.

3: What kind of torture methods would you use against them?

Pin him to the wall in an empty room, and start filling it with water. Grab a handful of his hair, and dunk him into a tub of water. Shove him down, and don't let him back up until he's limp.

I've also had a scenario where he's trapped in a room that gradually gets colder and colder over time. He thinks it's just normal isolation at first, until he notices that it's "a little chilly in here". And it doesn't stop; it just keeps getting colder and colder until there is frost lining the walls, and he is nothing but a pathetic, shivering little ball on the ground.

Sickness is also a super fun one with him. Just letting him get worse and worse. Toying with his life; letting him go to the brink of death, only to bring him back just enough to regain awareness, and then let him get worse all over again. (Lily fucked him up so badly with this one that he now avidly denies being sick whenever he's experiencing even the slightest symptoms of anything. He "doesn't get sick". Haha, whoosies!)

5: What do they do if you torture a loved one in front of them?

So I'm going to assume that this is a scenario where he's restrained and can't get to the person who's hurting his loved ones, while the torture is happening right in front of him. If that's the case, he's going guard dog feral. Especially if the loved one in question is Echo or his fiance. I'm talking shouting and screaming incoherent obscenities until he's spitting out blood, thrashing against restraints with reckless abandon and likely hurting himself in the process, growing, hissing, biting, pure, unbridled rage.

Once they are both out, their tormentor will have a target on their back. Kage will make it his sole mission to hunt them down and enact revenge. An eye for an eye. It's only fair.

7: Do they have a team? If so, supposed they were caught too. Do they protect their team from any torture or no?

Kage does have a support network of close friends who he is pretty loyal to, and cares about a lot. If any of them were to get captured alongside him, whether it be somebody close like Damien or Echo, or a friend like Sebastien or Mist, or even somebody who he doesn't seem to care for (or has very valid reasons not to care for them) like Onyx or even Ember, he would agree to take the blow for them if it meant their safety.

I do live, the Project is Still Going

I know it's been radio silence since I last updated you guys, so I'm here with both a very brief explanation as to said silence, and then a roadmap for ya'll to prove I'm not nuts and I do know what I'm doing, sort of XD

We had a lot of family activities for quite some time, and as family's important to us, I put all of my energy into that

NaNoWriMo started and I was extremely excited about that and spent some time working on the project. I got to 25k words about 4 days into NaNo, until...

My one year old got sick. His sickness lasted 5 minutes.

I got sick. My sickness was UNHOLY and BRUTAL and I am still recovering, even though this was a week ago. For various reasons, I had no back up, so... mentally, I'm not sure how I got this far.

ON TO THE ROADMAP

Current objective: Finish the second route for Chapter One.

Chapter One currently consists of just the option to choose the Nobility route, wherein the Player and their sibling are the children of well-off, successful parents who have done very well for themselves as Merchants.

The second route will feature the ability to be an orphan, wherein the Player and their sibling were orphaned after the brief but hard-hitting plague Mage Rot took out both of their parents. Both will roughly end in the same scenario, with the Player being whisked off to attend the College for Mages, which in this world, is required for ALL mages.

Next Objective: Chapter 2, the College Vignette Years

After I finish the second route- and barring editing that will likely happen to both routes, as the Merchant route is still very much in a rough draft state- there comes the College Years.

Chapter 2 will consist of a collection of vignettes that take place over the course of a decade, as the player and their sibling grow up in the Mage's College together.

The player will be able to choose the episode that plays out each year that passes, making for a minimum of 20 vignettes to choose from that play out in entirety, but after completion, skip to the next vignette.

There's no Earth-shattering reason for this- the ending will not be affected by your choices. My entire plan with this game was so that players wouldn't feel pressured to make the "right" choice all the time based on what ending they wanted, but that choices that drive what ending they get were super obvious, and other choices were purely for their own enjoyment, allowing them to feel like they can still be themselves... without getting a bad ending.

So during Chapter 2, you can choose episodes that entertain you or interest you. They'll play out in entirety, but after each episode ends, the year progresses to the next year, where you'll be able to choose your next episode.

Yes. This is a lot. It's going to take a while lmfao. It's also one of the things I'm most excited to write.

Following Objective: Returning Home

This isn't as fleshed out as Chapter 2 is, but mostly because I'm still in the state of fleshing out Chapter 2. Make no mistake- I know how this story ends, in all endings. At this stage, you and your sibling will return home together to find that things have changed drastically in your absence.

Some Problems

I'll be frank lmao, there are some things I'm juggling in my head with indecision. Some parts of the story I am absolutely SOLD on, but my initial plan for how the Player's past would play into the main story isn't as solid or as unique/special as I'd have liked. I'm now struggling with how to better incorporate the pasts in a way that doesn't feel like just replacing a character with a different one, based on who your childhood villain is.

There is an overarching plot that will really pick up starting in Chapter 3, involving a vast mystery that you can either solve, or mess up, depending on who you're trying to impress. There is a Good Ending and a Bad Ending, based entirely on who you choose to go with.

Because I'm trying to make choices very obvious, there isn't going to be as much of a sense of mystery for the player, unfortunately, in who the "bad ending" really belongs to. I'm sure most of you kind of know already. That is a draw back to this kind of formatting, but I still want to go ahead and experiment with it, partly because I do really wish there was a way to actually "be yourself" and still have the freedom to get the ending you want, regardless of your personality. Endings or characters requiring you to be something you're not always bugged me a little, lmao.

At any rate, there's still a lot of fiddling I'm doing, but I've got entire notebooks devoted to the drama, shenanigans, and episodes you can choose in Chapter 2, and I'm genuinely so stoked to write it lmao. I already have little snippets started because I'm just that impatient XD

They'll do literally anything to ensure the other one's safety.

Some examples-

John shot the cab driver within just a day of meeting Sherlock.

Kim was totally about to shoot Gus to keep Jimmy safe (for the record, she didn't even know how to use a gun- she'd never used one before.)

It's not a case of 'forced shipping' in either cases. We're given a huge list of canonical reasons to ship them.

Generally they don't even bother putting that much of effort in a het-couple; we're supposed to assume that they're meant for each other just because it's about a boy and a girl- heteronormativity in short but this was not the case with McWexler which was surprisingly refreshing and well done.

Both come under the category of dark haired person/ another person with lighter shades of hair (lol).

Both pairings are about two flawed, messed up characters who feel happy in the other one's company. Morally grey characters.

In the case of McWexler it becomes messier than that towards the end. However they both showed remorse and actually acted on that in the Series Finale (Saul Gone) in their own different ways.

Both of them received a sad ending. Johnlock never became canon and remained subtextual (till the 3rd series at least) and Mcwexler got separated in the final few episodes.

Although the difference here is that Jimmy and Kim getting separated was actually fitting within the narrative and didn't feel jarring (within context- although I still felt sad for them).

Another point (which is a bit silly)-

I ship both of them and they're both my otps and I love both of those pairings like anything (lmfao).

Yeah, that's it. I've always felt as if there were some similarities between the two pairings. Even if the shows are completely unrelated.

I've even written and posted a fic on AO3 featuring both of these pairings. I had fun while writing it.

How open is your oc to trying new things? Are they the adventurous sort, or would they rather stay in their comfort zone? Why?

ELENA — i'd like to say that she's adventurous because she deserves the fun (all she does is work and then stay in her house lmfao), but i know in my heart that she's set up camp in that comfort zone of hers. it's because she already has to test the boundaries of her comfort regularly vis-à-vis certain social interactions, so once she's finished with that she likes to retreat to what she knows and feels secure in. most open to trying new foods, but nothing too wild or far removed from what she usually has. more amenable to trying new things if she's close to someone who is bringing up the idea(s) tbh. if she trusts them with everything else than she believes they'll have her best interest at heart and have faith in their thinking she'll enjoy something.

RIYA — opposite of miss angel there, riya is always down to try new things. constantly chasing new highs and looking for the Next Thing. she's the type of person who can't stick to a single hobby because she jumps around so much, eager to sink her teeth into whatever interest catches her eye. said new things can be anywhere on the scale of safe to dangerous and it usually doesn't take much convincing to have her agreeing to anybody's suggestions, if she's not the one to propose one first.

How does your oc fare in an emergency situation? Do they panic, do they freeze, do they take charge?

ELENA — she doesn't panic all that much when it comes to danger, there's a calmness and confidence in her during those times because she has faith that things will work out if she (and/or companions) use resources smartly. she's the ding dang daughter of pelor, giver of life and beacon of hope, and she strives to present those things herself, especially during emergencies. she isn't the one to turn to for a battle plan, but she's quick to helping others in need and relaying any information she deems important for reaching safety/peace

RIYA — unfortunately because of what a clown she is presently, she's more the type to charge in first and ask questions later. someone else can certainly take charge but she has already thrown herself forward, probably into combat if it's that sort of danger. only time she may panic is during a medical emergency because she has no idea what to do then, she hasn't done any reading and could never grasp that type of magic. she knows how to shoot lightning from her fingertips but couldn't heal a papercut with a gun to her head lmfao

How does your oc’s own perception of themselves compare to how other people see them? Is your oc aware that other people see them differently (if it’s different)?

ELENA — so here’s a thing about elena. i think that in her formative years there was some kind of encounter with somebody where they reacted poorly (not horribly, but they didn’t address it properly) to elena expressing hesitation about some task she was asked to do, and it formed this huge part of her character right then and there with the natural “oh I don’t like making people sad” response combining with “oh I just have to do this and they’ll be happy”. add that on top of all the other general pressures and anxieties of hers that i’ve talked about before, and it’s created this scenario where elena tries to only present The Sunblessed to everybody. because in her mind they want to see the glowing darling who will cure their illnesses, heal their wounds, support those in need, chase down their damn missing cat if that's the emergency of the day—they certainly don’t want to see the lady who gets nervous in crowds, struggles with insecurities and very very rarely thinks about how life could be different. there aren’t very many people who see her differently from how she presents herself because they’ll only see her for small amounts of time here and there, so they truly only see the sweet divine girl happy to be of service, but for the folk who spend time with and get to know her then they’ll start to put some pieces together. ((the pieces being yeah she positively loves what she does but she doesn’t know how to say No and needs to find some fun for herself somewhere.))

RIYA — unfortunately she thinks that she’s a goddess walking the earth and isn’t very subtle about it, everyone and their mama’s know that riya thinks she’s on top of the world and the hottest person in each room she’s in. and i mean like,,,she’s not Entirely wrong. she’s incredibly popular in her social circles (and the circle itself bc duh) and people love her because she is incredibly fun at events or outings and knows how to put on a great show, plus her confidence and teasing can be quite endearing. there are for sure people who aren’t fans though, the folk who find her cockiness grating and wish she’d just go back to the circle where she’s supposed to be. i think that she’s selectively aware of how people view her if i’m honest lmfao. if she cares about a person’s opinion then she’ll be more open to vibechecking their connection to her, but if it’s someone she doesn’t like or considers an enemy then she straight up doesn’t care. doesn’t waste her time considering it.

and this is all without considering how much of a spoiled, pampered brat she’s going to appear as to the grey wardens :)

they rarely wake up at the same time, so they always make sure they go to bed together :) sometimes this means vincent has to stay up a little longer than he wanted to or vitali goes to bed earlier than usual or the other way round but they're both okay with that, because they just really need that moment together; it's when they talk about their day, or stuff that needs to be talked about, and then they fall asleep in each other's arms :)

vitali wakes up a lot earlier than vincent, usually between 5 and 6am whereas vincent tends to sleep until 9 or 10am. vitali does sometimes wake him up for a moment to give him a goodbye kiss, vincent falls asleep very easily so it's not a big deal <3

2) how’s their team work? do they share well?

vincent and vitali make an AMAZING team together >:) in every sense of the word tbh, whether it is about their relationship or just as friends or about work or whatever. they complement each other well where necessary but also see eye-to-eye on pretty much everything

sharing is a bit of a sensitive topic, because vincent grew up having to fend for himself a lot with four older siblings who were all pretty greedy. he still gets nervous when other people touch his stuff and prefers to keep some things to himself entirely, but vitali is aware of this and it's not a problem at all

13) what do they do for fun? do they have a favorite activity or do they like to switch things up?

14) anything they both dread?

they both dread the day something goes wrong and they can't fix it anymore. this mainly refers to the fact they both had something very serious happen to them and it's fixed now, but they're both unsure if it's fixed forever or only temporary :// vincent is stabilized and no longer dying, but what if it doesn't last forever? and vitali was brainwashed but he snapped out of it, but what if he snaps back in one day?

the fact they don't have good answers to these questions is why they're so scared of it to go wrong :( they talk about it on occasion, but can't really comfort each other well because of this

17) what would make them break up? would it be permanent?

i think something very serious would need to happen for them to actually break up. vitali really does NOT want to lose vincent and vincent is someone who believes anything can be talked about and if stuff happens they can figure it out together, so if something Bad were to happen they might be upset about it for a bit but it wouldn't destroy their relationship

if they were to actually break up, though, it's probably a mutual decision that they made to keep their friendship intact; they value their friendship over their romantic relationship and care about each other's wellbeing, and if them no longer being together means that they're both a lot happier that's what they'll do. but that's not going to happen because they love each other oh so much <3

22) does their work ever interfere with the relationship?

in a way, yeah. the type of work they do not so much (they're both mercs, they kill people, it's fine), but vincent HAS been a bit insecure about the fact vitali is also a fixer, and vincent doesn't want to negatively influence his reputation or anything

there's also the fact vitali is a bit of a workaholic and can get caught up in work at times. he's aware of this, though, and when he notices he's falling into that spiral again he immediately makes an effort to get back out <3

oh absolutely LMFAO vitali for one just lets people get away with a lot of things once he cares about them. his mother used to make everything into a problem and it never resulted into anything good so he tends to swallow his words a lot (not in an unhealthy way but more in like a "this is actually probably not all that bad if i give it three more minutes" kind of way). a good example would be vincent cracking his knuckles; vitali does not like the sound but he also doesn't want to bring it up to vincent every time

there's a few things that would still upset vitali if vincent were to say it to him. can't really think of any good examples right now but if something like that were to happen, vitali would just bring it up normally and vincent would make sure it doesn't happen again. yeah i know, not all too exciting but good communication is sexy to me actually

vincent is mostly unbothered in general i think. the only thing that really bothers him is people touching his stuff without asking, and this also includes vitali; but vitali knows of this and always makes sure to ask so. it's not a problem :) communication sexy :)

u posted a snippet of a comic where kakashi was coaxing tenzo to take off his anbu mask, i was wondering if u would ever post the full comic? it seems so sad and sweet and id love to have the full context of why tenz was keeping the mask on and why kk was afraid that he was doing so? if not its okay!

AH i'm surprised you remember that!!!! that feels like ages ago...back in may, i think?

i will post the full comic one day, but i have to ink it and muddle through a color palette first! because ive been so busy, i haven't had time to work on it so the pencils are still at 4/12 pages, but i can share with u what i have atm bc it'd be good to refresh my memory too. be warned obviously that like, these are pencils and not a finished, ready-to-consume product, so many things may be unclear! I'll add a little elaboration of my thoughts at the bottom of each one that should hopefully help!

page one. the top of the page and the box right below it are going to be flat black—the implication that Kakashi is speaking into a room which has no source of light. In the second one, Tenzō's pose is unclear, but he's curled up defensively into as tiny of a ball as he can manage, like a pill bug, even his speech bubbles fall along the outside of him, like he's trying to use them as another defense. In the third, we have Kakashi from Tenzō's POV. He's just opened the door, is standing tall and somewhat rigid like he's expecting an attack, taking in the situation. In the fourth and fifth panels, Tenzō sees this, and turns away, becoming deeply embarrassed that he's come to Kakashi for help at all, and that somebody he respects so much is seeing him in such a "pathetic" moment.

This is the panel you referenced—you can see by Kakashi's posture (low to the ground, loose limbs and no longer stiff or anticipating conflict, keeping a distance between he and tenzō) that he's not actually scared, per se. He's approaching Tenzō with the same gentleness that somebody might use in approaching an injured animal. If he's frightened at all, he's frightened for Tenzō's sake, but mostly he says it because he's having a trouble getting a read on the situation when Tenzō is wearing his mask.

It's true that like, as a former root agent, Tenzō is one of the least expressive people in Konoha, but even still, any movement of his face gives Kakashi more context than the cold porcelain of the cat mask, and walking into an unknown situation with a clearly unwell teammate, Kakashi wants as much context as possible so that he doesn't make the situation worse by accident.

Whether Tenzō complies because he doesn't want Kakashi to feel "scared" or simply because he was given a command is unclear at first, but Immediately after, he starts talking about how he's going to have to be re-evaluated for duty, and how hopsital dodging is a serious problem for a shinobi, etc, indicating that he's not really in a space where he can process emotional consequences very well.

I also make a point of not showing his full face during this page, because a full face will generally ask us to relate to the feelings expressed on the face, and I want those feelings to be as hard to read and unsure as they are for Kakashi in that moment, but I couldn't help but show his eyes when he removes the mask.

Top panel is Tenzo responding to Kakashi's command "let me see it," and him stretching his injured arm out for Kakashi to examine. The second panel should have Kakashi's hands gently grasping Tenzō's. Kakashi doesn't go into his space, and instead asks Tenzō to come into his, so that Tenzō can take his time if he needs it.

Idk, with a shinobi that's Going Through It, pushing their boundaries before they're ready is a good way to make their situation worse, or end up with a kunai in ur gut, so it's not something kakashi's gonna do. It's also, not coincidentally, the first panel we see Tenzō's whole face in (though it's still tilted away), and are therefore asked to try and imagine his feelings.

The next panel where he's observing his shaking hands is almost normal, but then the second he goes right back to covering his face with one of those hands and apologizing, stumbling in his attempt to be open. The two blank panels after that should have Kakashi looking directly at Tenzō, and then looking back down at the wound he's inspecting, and giving Tenzō the verdict "You'll be okay." (i know the speech bubble is low there and looks like it's part of the lower Kakashi panel, but I'll fix that in inks).

Then, like a record caught in a scratch, Tenzō just keeps apologizing, like he's forgotten he can do anything else. Kakashi mistakenly assumes it's because Tenzō thinks Kakashi's mad at him (Tenzō does not think this, both because Kakashi is rarely mad at all, and certainly not at him, and because he doesn't have the emotional space or skills in this moment to consider that Kakashi does feel any particular way about this situation)

Kakashi, who is trying his best but sucks at this kind of thing, is getting frustrated with the apologies, and uncomfortable because it feels like they're directed at him, even though they aren't. It's an unbearably uncomfortable position for him to have somebody apologize so profusely, especially somebody he sees as a trusted teammate and friend, and especially for something that's so clearly out of their control. He doesn't want it.

So, frustrated, he redirects. "What happened on this mission to fuck you up this bad?" the only real indicator of his frustration is that in this sentence his language is more coarse, where before he'd been very placatingly careful, and the expression he makes at Tenzō's arm.

He's thinking "well, this sucks and we're not getting anywhere with it, so I'm just going to ask what happened and get it over with."

Then we see Tenzō's full face again as he takes in the question. Around here, when I add color, the page will begin to shift green, and lighter green near the bottom.

Then, as his hair begins to lift, as though it's floating in water, with a blank face Tenzō will say that he doesn't know what happened.

Then, turning to fully face Kakashi (or us, the viewer) for the first time in these four pages he will correct himself, and say "nothing. nothing happened." But he will be green, and much like within the test tube he was raised in, he will be unclothed and his hair will be floating. The first time we're fully asked (by his direct eye contact) to understand and relate to his feelings, he will make it very clear to us the viewer (and Kakashi who is with us, listening to Tenzō say nothing happened when Clearly Something Happened) that the world he's experiencing for the moment is at odds with the body he's sitting in and the room he's sitting in it with, and that's why he's having such an incredibly difficult time processing anything.

Oikawa didn't waste any time to ask Iwaizumi about things that happened to you and Iwaizumi answered the questions that he knew the answers but stayed silent when he doesn't know anything. "She's still Kenma Kozume's secretary, from what I've heard they lived together during her pregnancy. I couldn't ask her since she's avoiding me, sort of." Iwaizumi knew exactly why you would want to cut off some ties to those people who are connected to you and Oikawa and he understands that but he was genuinely worried so as much as he respects your choice, he still kept himself update about you and the twins.

"The guy named Bokuto was kinda close to her, are they together?"

Iwaizumi smirked to himself and he leaned his back on his couch before shrugging his shoulders, he saw the worried look on Oikawa's face when he did that, "You don't know?" he asked, obviously sad and disappointed, he knew it would never be easy to get you back but he's hoping that there would be no other man. He doesn't know if he can see you with someone else.

He knew that you deserve better, you deserve the best but Oikawa wanted to be that person. He wanted to be the one to take care of you, he still loves you, he never stopped loving you, he couldn't stop loving you even if it hurts.

Iwaizumi chuckled before he tapped Oikawa's shoulder, "She's single. I know, so why don't you rest first before you try to win her back? You were busy dressing up the twins and packing their things, Kenma asked if he could meet you and the kids over lunch so you immediately said yes even it's your day off. You immediately stood up and saw Kenma at your door, "Where are they?" He asked as he look over your shoulder, you opened the door wider for him and led him to the living room where he saw the twins all dressed up. "Aiya, Haruto." he called them out softly, "Papa Kenma!" the twins ran to hug him tightly and Kenma chuckles, yes, he did.

Kenma became a little expressive since the two were born. "Where are we going today, Papa?" they asked but Kenma looked at you with an apologetic look, "Well, I'm truly sorry, kids but something came up and Papa has to go and fix something." you smiled at him and comb Aiya and Haruto's hair. You just checked your phone and you saw that Kenma texted and called you but you got busy with dressing up the kids.

"But it’s Aiya and Haru's day today." Aiya pouted and Kenma just felt more guilty. He had always made sure not to have anything at this day of the week for the two but because of some conflicts he really has to go. "I know, I'm sorry, hmm? Because Papa Kenma couldn't make it, I called someone to come over and spend time with you." Kenma said, trying to sound cheerful and the twins' eyes lit up.

"Who is it?" the two asked, their eyes shining in anticipation and before Kenma could answer, you heard the doorbell rang again. The twins pulled away from Kenma and ran towards the door. Kenma chuckles as you two chased the twins. "I knew they'll forget about me if I bring a bribe." he said as he watch the two welcome the one and only Bokuto. "Sorry, I couldn't answer your call earlier." you apologized and Kenma just smiled as he suddenly hug you.

"It's your day off. Take a rest, woman. And good luck." he said before patting your head.

"Good luck for what?"

"HE'S Back."

You froze as you stare at Kenma and he pursed his lips. "Just like what you told me, YN. Give the twins the chance to meet him, they deserve to know." he reminded you before he walked towards Bokuto and the twins who was busy catching up with each other.

"Yeah, yeah, take care, man."

Your eyes met Bokuto's after he said goodbye to Kenma. "What happen?" he asked as he saw you crying, Aiya and Haruto looked up but Bokuto carried them two and brought them to their room, the twins looked at him in confusion, not understanding a thing, Bokuto smiled at the twins before he pulled his phone out of his pocket. "Play with some games or watch some videos on Daddy's phone alright? Mom and I have some adult things to talk about." he closed the door of their room after kissing their foreheads.

Bokuto saw you at the living room covering your face with your hand. You were sobbing hard and Bokuto pull you into his arms as he kissed your hair to calm you down, "Shh…it's okay YN. You never want anyone to see you like this but for some reason every time that you're breaking down, the person who's beside you is Bokuto, he's a crackhead, childish, emotional and confident player on the court but Bokuto is a much deeper person than everyone thinks he is.

"He's back and I promised the twins that they'll meet him. What if Oikawa won't accept them? What if his girlfriend won't-"

"Shh, you won't know until you try, YN. I know, it's scary, but what if he would accept them? What if he will welcome them with open arms? Will you let your fear hinder the happiness of your kids?"

Bokuto doesn't know about your history with the twins' father, he just found out that it was Oikawa Toru but he wouldn't want you to carry all of this responsibilities alone forever, you deserve the peace of mind, the kids deserve a father and as much as he wants to offer that he knew that the twins' desire to meet their father won't go away.

You smiled at Bokuto and buried your face in his broad chest, "Thank you, Kou." you whispered as you held onto him tightly, "Please, let's let the twins have some fun before I ask Iwa to contact him for me." Bokuto nods, still keeping you close with him, eh let you cry on his chest and waited before you calm down.

"Feel better?"

"Hmm, thanks Kou. Love you." you told him before you kissed his cheeks, Bokuto laughed and mess your hair with a playful and flirty smirk. "Ahuh? But I thought we already told ourselves that we're better off as friends?" he teased and you hit him in his chest and pushed him, "Asshole, did you forget that you kissed me first?" You groaned out of annoyance and walked out to go to your children while he follows closely and he's still laughing. It's been a year since that kissing incident with Bokuto and that drunk kissing was followed by few dates here and there and some make out sessions, Bokuto is a perfect person to play the part as the twins' father but even after all these years, you knew that it's still Oikawa.

If Oikawa Toru never existed, you would've probably fell in love with Bokuto but without Oikawa there would be no Aiya and Haruto, even after all of the pain during the pregnancy and when you gave birth, you never regret becoming their Mother. They completed you, they filled the void that Oikawa left, they made you stronger and braver.

Bokuto smiles as he watch you talk to the twins, this is his favorite, seeing you care for the twins and seeing your eyes sparks as you look at your children is the best thing he had ever seen. He already admitted to himself long ago that he fell in love with you but he's strong enough to set aside his own feelings and stayed as your support, he can see in your eyes that you're not ready yet and seeing how you reacted to the news that your ex is back, it just proved his assumptions all this time.

He's contented with staying as your friend, he misses keeping you in his arms on that way but he's not selfish to let his own feelings meddle with the happiness of the twins. He treasures your children so much and all he wants was their happiness and if meeting their real father is what they want, he will support you all the way.

grammarly doesn't like my sexy intentional grammar mistakes. jk no okay so actually though--

just. love what you love and write what you write. there will always be at least one other person out there who likes what you like. and -- super importantly -- your work is 99% of the time, better than you think it is. you look at your work through critical eyes that have been staring at it for who knows how long. you can pick out every infinitesimal mistake. things your average reader won't even notice because they're not looking for every single minute error. get yourself a cheerleader, an alpha, a beta, or all three and have them look over your work when you're done if you're feeling unsure about it -- they'll have fresh eyes and give you an unbiased opinion.

this is super important especially if you're a perfectionist like me. sometimes you just have to stop, step back, close the laptop and do something else. let your mind clear, drink some water, then come back and send the file over to someone you trust to read it over for you and tell you what they think. outside opinions can be so crucial for those fics that just seem to be pinching every nerve in the wrong way.

I'm 5'4 and I have a very tiny body frame so i'm extremely petite and pretty small. I'm not very curvy and I literally have the body of a cereal box...lol but its fine because I have nice hips and thighs. I have thick brown hair that goes down to my back and it gets tangled pretty easily but its kinda fluffy. I have brown eyes and tiny freckles all over my face and body. I also have a very strong grunge style, like Flannels, band t-shirts, combat boots, leather jackets etc. But i'd also always enjoy a nice oversized sweatshirt or hoodie with a pair of skinny, ripped jeans and some converses or something along those lines.

For my personality.....this is where things get interesting. At first people find me very intimidating due to my resting bitch face and cold exterior but I promise i'm not like that ALL the time. When you get to know me, i'm a big extrovert, goofy and about everything that comes out of my mouth is sarcasm or some dry humored joke. I'm also that one friend in a group where they literally will do the stupidest shit ever like for an example one time it was super dark outside and my other friend was there, while I was trying to climb a tree and I failed and fell out of the tree, and landed on my back. I got straight up after that somehow it didn't hurt.....like at all? But yeah i'm super reckless and sometimes people have to save me from myself if you get what I mean. I also have a very strong "I don't give a fuck" attitude and I will not hesitate to stick up for myself or my friends....like i'm the type of person where if someone glares at me, i'll glare right back. I can have bad anxiety and I can be very self destructive. This is where my feisty, stubborn, hardheaded side comes in. If I want something then i'll fight for it even if it hurts me and i'll get into a bad cycle of putting myself down and trying to do better even if I did great the first time but I always push myself too far and other people have to stop me because I usually can't see it when its happening. I also cover my emotions up and I have a lot of trouble talking about whats bothering me or what problems i'm having emotionally so I put up a wall and I act tough, or happy and sometimes i'll be the exact opposite but I try to hide it.

Weird things about me: I've grown up in the south all my life so sometimes when I talk a few words they'll come out sounding WAYYY more country and southern then I wanted, I don't have an accent but sometimes my words just come out that way. I also love the smell of cigarette smoke....let me explain. When I was a kid my parents smoked a lot and I was used to smelling it and now it reminds me of home and is sort of comforting.

Things I like: I love swimming (I was on a swim team for about 9 years), I love horror movies, I like rain and the sounds of thunderstorms because its calming to me, I also love the smell of rain, I like cloudy days, cooking, listening to 80's and 90's rock but mainly 90's because 90's is the best, My favorite bands are Bush, Audioslave, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkoln Park, Pearl jam but i'm pretty open to anything. First off, he really likes your size and style, he has a think for small girls that can still be tough and that’s something he loves showing off when you get together lmfao, he’s like, “Yeah, my girls strong. Fuck you gonna do about it?”

Now, Jeff is a really unstable, violent guy. A lot of people (even me) don’t even see him ever being interested in being in a relationship, so when the creeps saw Jeff with his arm around you, they were immediately baffled by it.

You’re like that to him, it took him a very long time to get used to how he felt for you at first. At first he thought his brain was just being stupid, but Jeff isn’t dumb. He knows what these feelings feel like, and he recognized them almost immediately after that.

Jeff is really insane, and he constantly leans on you for support and depends on you to keep him leveled at times. It can get pressuring, but despite it all he always makes sure to not blame you if he ends up doing something dumb because he knows it’s not your fault.

He finds your clothing style pretty hot, he really loves badass kind of outfits with leather and band names, because as I said, he loves to show off that his girl is “cool” or something.

He thinks your resting bitch-face and cold exterior is really badass too, being around you always gives him so much confidence and its a great change from the usual fake confidence he has around everyone that he keeps up as a defense mechanism when in reality he was always pretty insecure.

I honestly think Jeff is an extrovert too, like he loves being around people and interacting with them (When they’re not normal people and don’t think he’s hideous, that is). I canon this mostly because when hes alone, then he’s also alone with his thoughts and his thoughts always end up wandering to his insecurities and what he hates about himself, but you often catch him during these times and you reassure him that everything will be okay and that you still love him.

He totally relates to being the friend that says stupidest shit, you two will often just go up to one of the creeps and just start spouting random shit. He honestly fucking loves being goofy with you, and you two are always creating awesome memories together when you prank the other creeps and sometimes each other and he honestly wouldn’t have it any other way.

When you do stupid shit that gets you in trouble or puts you in danger, he’s always quick to get to you and make sure you’re okay, he would probably panic a lot though. Like, “What the fuck, dumbass?” “How the HELL did you do that???“ as he’s frantically trying to solve the situation. Will most definitely sit there and laugh at you for a good 5-10 minutes once the whole thing is dealt with though.

You being able to stick up for your friends is one of the great qualities about you that he absolutely adores, especially since before he became a killer he would always get bullied and nobody would ever stick up for him, so one day when you defend him against a bunch of assholes it just warms his heart up and makes him feel so loved, but he most likely wont admit that.

He’d let it slip eventually though.

When you’re feeling self-destructive, he is 100% there for you. Although he’s not really the best at giving advice, he’ll still sit there with you and let you talk your heart out and will listen to every single word because he wants to show that same contribution towards you that you’ve shown him. He’ll constantly reassure you that not everything is your fault and that you’re strong, and he’ll make little promises to you.

If it was a person in particular making you feel that way though, he’d definitely make sure to pay a visit to the motherfucker.

He admires your determination to fight for the things you want, but to an extent. He hates it when you overwork yourself or push beyond your limits to the point where it destroys you, and he wants you to know that you’re not alone and you can ask for help, you don’t have to destroy yourself. He’s more than willing to stay right there, by your side.

He understands hiding your true emotions, because well, he’s had to do it a lot around the other creeps and around his family when they were still alive. So he won’t ever push you to talk about somehting if you don’t want to, but he doesn’t want you to pretend to be okay either. He’s more than willing to just lay with you and do whatever you want if it would make you feel better.

He honestly likes how you have a southern accent at times, when he’s feeling upset or like his sanity is draining, your accent really soothes him so sometimes he’ll ask you to lay it on thick because he could honestly listen to you talk to him and listen to your accent all day if he wanted to.

When it storms at night, he’ll always hold you close to him with a blanket and just listen to the storm sounds with you because it soothes him too. realistically speaking there is no destruction of the GOC from these five. Maybe Sora and Icarus?? But the other three mostly use soft power and subversive power to destroy it from the inside out.

With that out of the way, quality bonding time with these five often doesn't entail the five of them together.

Usually, it's like, three of them, or two of them, seldom ever five. Five is a rarity but everyone is in check with each other.

Icarus and Tjme know each other best out of anyone else and out of the squad, tend to be paired the most. Grace meshes well with everyone (therefore hangs out with everyone regularly) and Sora and Quill are two feral children constantly in competition with one another.

In the instance they're actually all together, it's pretty lowkey stuff?? Like, days off, heading to a really beautiful lake, having a picnic, swimming, just playing around.

Going to diners at really weird hours because their work hours often mean letting out near midnight.

If Grace gets clearance for Sal to either become a researcher or to utilize his powers for the Foundation, she might be able to include him on some of these excursions.

Lots of talking about stuff that isn't work. It's kinda peaceful in that sense.

A dumpster is set on fire during one of these outings.

During work hours and provided they're all at the same site, they'll commandeer an entire break room just to hang out.

Lots of office shenanigans. Messing with 294, other researchers they know, it's a collective sigh when the staff knows they're all together.

Icarus accidentally smacks someone with her wings. That's the rule. It's nowhere near hard enough to break noses due to a sixth sense being built up from the rest of the squad but like - it happens.

Quill probably has the most energy out of all of them though! She's always moving, up and going, ready to head out.

Yes, they're allowed to visit pool Tjme sometimes hangs out in. Normally, no one else is allowed in there, and she's only there when it gets too cold outside lmfao. There's floaties in there :]

Sometimes, heading to the onsite dormitories is the best course of action. Icarus' dorms, for MTF agents, is usually the most friendly and welcoming.

That's not to say that Grace, and Sora's dorms aren't welcoming, but researchers are a different kind of introverted.

Quill is in a different building entirely that DOES NOT like other people coming in.

Tjme's dorm is pretty empty because she's usually in the water. It's pretty bare, and the stuff she has down below isn't accessible by non gilled beings without SCUBA equipment.

So, Icarus' dorm it is! The common rooms are full of other agents ready to talk and have fun. They're the most like a college dorm tbh, always have events planned, etc. It's really fun.

The monthly movie nights are a MUST. The google doc gets shared from Icarus to the rest of them and they vote alongside the floor they live on, as each floor has it's own movie and houses a different group of agents.

Grace loves to get Sal involved. He's been allowed a camera, some drawing utensils - so little arts and crafts day are DEFINITELY a thing. It's quite sweet.

Quill can and will pull some strings in order to make sure everyone is in the same area. Sora often helps with this.

Sora gives me the vibe that they'd do someone's hair if they asked.

Overall?? No, they're not all together at the same time, nor is it often. But when they are, it's really good.

I have probably send a lot of anons today but I love how sweet you're and even though I only followed your blog recently the way you sound right now basically done with these stunts and wanting to stay off is disheartening but you do you and take care of your mental health.

I'm a new larrie and I agree it's hard to survive in this fandom. From the outside it looks all unicorns but it's a nightmare. One direction has a band has so much dark history. Everyday I learn new things which are so disheartening and those boys having to experience that isn't a great feeling. Anyway I'm a larrie, I would like to believe a true one but the stunts are bearable only while they serve their purposes and don't cross the line. Harry is dating Olivia, alright the GP is convinced but kissing and yatching is LMFAO too much. GP doesn't care honestly who's he kissing or being intimate with (okay publicity I'll take that). These stunts are over the line and I'm convinced they over do these things just to keep the fandom talking and bickering with each other.

I am not going to be here for 7 years unlike y'all and I'm sure of it. I will always believe Larrie is real, Freddie isn't his kid, Harry is a great boyfriend and Louis loves us regardless what we believe but having to stick around this fandom is "na na not for me" and when I say this I only mean not to interact with fans and talk about Larrie and stunts. Because several people have offered to help Alastor look over his contract, I'm gonna make a separate post describing the terms of the contract so I can link it to anyone instead of making them read the whole chat log between Alastor & Asmodeus. None of us are real-life lawyers here we are all bullshitting this lmfao

List of terms in the contract between Asmodeus & Alastor, for Alastor to work under Ozzie's specific "boon" system of offering mortal realm missions to succubi. Primarily these are the terms for how he'd earn a promotion from the "minimum boon" tier to the "small boon" tier:

(This is just a vague outline, not Official Contract Wording, I an't gonna write that out.)

- Alastor received a promotion after completing a minimum of fifty missions and after a minimum of two years have elapsed from the signing of the contract.

- Only Asmodeus can offer missions that qualify; jobs that Alastor takes from other sources don't count toward fulfilling this contract

- Two-thirds of the amount of time Alastor spends in Lust is subtracted from the amount of time needed to complete the contract (i.e., three days in Lust moves the deadline two days closer, six hours in Lust moves the deadline four hours closer, etc.)

- At his discretion, Asmodeus can offer Alastor a higher-tier mission for funsies. There's no consequences if Alastor declines or fails that mission.

- At his discretion, Asmodeus can offer Alastor a merit-based promotion if he wants him to move up a tier sooner.

- Regular Hell-wide industry standards for judging whether a freelance assignment on Earth has been "successfully completed" apply to this contract.

- They'll have the option to renegotiate a new contract when Alastor moves up a tier.

- Once he gets promoted to the top "unlimited boon" tier, completing a certain number of "large" missions can equal completing one "unlimited" mission. They can agree on what that number is when they negotiate that tier.

- Under the terms of this contract, the only consequences to Asmodeus for not offering Alastor jobs is that he doesn't have Alastor doing work for him, and the only consequences to Alastor for not accepting jobs is that he doesn't make progress toward a promotion.

Background info on boons, from Asmodeus:

"Sure. Incentives and all that. It helps keep the ones I want coming back-- they tell me of their exploits, spin me a yarn, and they get something. Ozzie: "I like time limits more than set numbers of missions. If we can haggle a set amount of time for you to do the minimal boon missions, would that satisfy?"

Alastor: "And how does that work? After such-and-such amount of time, I automatically gain the option to take jobs on the next tier, regardless of how many minimal ones I've done?"

Ozzie: "Well, it's not going to be a short time limit-- we're immortal, Alastor. But yes, when I call, you would come, pick a job, and then do it. You'd get your boon after and the process would repeat until the time frame was up-- and then you'd get to the next tier and we'd haggle that timeframe. Usually, it gets longer and longer the bigger the boons."

Alastor: "... And in that arrangement, I'd *have* to come and accept a job any time you call, I take it? And if I don't like any of the jobs currently on offer, either I *have* to take one anyway, or... what, or the timeframe extends? Something else? Or do I just have to pick one and do it anyway?"

Ozzie: "Nah, let's make it more fun than just simply extending time. If you refuse a job, you gotta spend a week in Lust. You could hang out here or at your place, or wander the streets, but you'd have to stay in Lust, and I'd know if you left."

Alastor: "I don't much like the sound of a week's imprisonment as punishment for not being offered acceptable jobs."

Ozzie: "How about a night then? Twelve hours, but you'd have to stay in Ozzie's and keep me entertained."

Alastor: "And what stops you from 'offering me a job' once every twelve hours, and each time presenting me with a single folder that says 'shoot yourself in the head'? I'm not saying you *would*, but I'm not agreeing to a bargain where you *could.*"

Ozzie: "We could put those stipulations in an official contract if you want-- I'm easy, baby."

Alastor: "A minimum time limit to move up tiers—but, time spent in the Lust ring reduces the time limit. A day in Lust moves the deadline a day closer—or whatever ratio we agree to. An *incentive* to while away more time here—whether or not I choose to take it, I'll know I'll receive a material benefit if I do. Does that get us both something we want?"

Those I also can't curate, of course."

Alastor: "But while I wait, if I get bored, I assume there's nothing stopping me from taking lower-tier jobs, either from you or the normal freelance system."

Ozzie: "Yes, of course. And if you wanted to take say a minimal job, while you're in the low tier, that would be alright too, of course." "For the minimal, lets say two years. Human Gregorian calendar."

Alastor: "Two years. ... *With* the option to promoted me early—if, of course, *you* decide that I'm doing a spectacular job, and you'd just love to see me doing something more interesting a little sooner."

Ozzie: "Two years, or merits. There may be a time or two I decide to throw you a higher level contract while you're still on the lower tiers, too, just to see how you do-- but receiving one of those doesn't mean you've been bumped up to the next tier. For that, you'd need my official decree and stamp, after we confirm the time frame."

Alastor: "And I hope it won't be held against me if it turns out I'm in over my head with a job above my current tier."

Ozzie: "Of course, of course! Those would be just to test the waters-- no negative repercussions. But. If you fail a mission of your tier _without_ a solid reason or explanation why, then I get to add a day onto your time."

Alastor: "... Counterproposal. I know you've said you don't want the threshold for the next tier to be a simple number of missions—but. *You* need a way to guarantee that I won't just wait out my time turning down all missions, and *I* need a way to guarantee that you can't use job offers to entrap me—whether it's in Lust or in terrible jobs I have no choice but to take. What about a combination of a time limit *and* a minimum number of jobs: merit-based promotion aside, I'll only move up tiers once I've passed two years, minus time in Lust, AND *successfully* completed however-many jobs. If I don't have that number within two years, then I'm still on this tier. I hope it's still complicated enough to be interesting? And this way if you decide you want to trip me up, the worst you can do—within this arrangement, I mean—is simply stop offering me jobs; and the worst *I* can do is simply stop accepting them; and progress stagnates. Which is boring, sure; *but,* it means there's no good incentive to undermine each other. If we want to entertain ourselves, *we have to keep entertaining each other.*"

Ozzie: "And you're right, that is a better way to make sure we're both gettin' what we want."

doing a final review over the contract draft, Alastor: "I'd appreciate if it says 'two-thirds of the time spent in Lust' instead of 'two days for every three days in Lust,' since I'd *hate* if I didn't get my two day discount because I could only stay 71 hours—as I'm sure *you'd* hate if I elected not to stay over a fourth day if I knew it wouldn't count if I couldn't stay six... unless you've got your own in-house standards for me to review, there should be a mention that the regular industry standards for judging 'successfully completed' freelance jobs apply here... the contract should go up for renegotiation once it's completed and I move up a tier... and we still need to agree on the minimum number of jobs, of course..." "Now, an idea—this won't be relevant for a *long* time, I'm sure—but *if* you're amenable to the idea, it wouldn't hurt to put it in the contract now for when it becomes relevant down the line... but, given the infrequency of single jobs worthy of an unlimited boon, perhaps a clause stating that one could also be earned by completing a certain number of large jobs? Naturally, it could be a *very* large number of jobs, and we can agree on *what* that number is later—but, well, if it's been ten thousand years, no worthy job's come up, and I've been doing jobs all that time, I'd like to think I'd have at least earned a boon for long and loyal service by then!"

I'm sure things'll change enough between now and then that we'll need to hash it out at the time even if we DID put a number in now anyway."
