The door to Minerva McGonagall's study opened. She knew without lifting her eyes who it was, so she kept them firmly on her paperwork.
Severus Snape, on the other hand, shut the door, proceeded to almost skip to the desk, and promptly hopped on and perched on the end.
She still ignored him.
He lowered his head all the way down until he was practically touching her forehead. Her eyes rolled up to meet his. He had a little grin on his face, one that didn't disappear at the steel in her eyes. Instead it seemed to increase. "Alright, mum?"
"What do you want?" she sighed.
"What, a man can't pay a visit to his old friend?" Severus tutted, shaking his head. "And here I thought you loved me."
"I loath you, if that's what you mean," she retorted wryly. Severus's eyes widened and he put a hand on his chest.
"Oh, I'm simply wounded, mother! See, my heart, it is completely and utterly torn in pieces!"
"Yer heart's on the left side, you overgrown sausage."
Severus quickly moved his hand. "Well, I could feel the pain over there due to the heavy impact of the pain," he improvised.
"Oh, aye?"
"Aye, that's the truth."
"Didn't know yer sneaky, sly little silver tongue could speak the truth!"
"Here, just 'cause I convinced the Headmaster that you were the one who ate his cake, it d'nt mean you have to still be mad at me!"
Minerva sipped her tea, and looked at the overgrown gangly child grown man of 32 years who was still sat on her desk. "Are you going tae leave me in peace, laddie? Or d'ye need me tae give ye a sweetie like yer a wee firstie wanting his mummy?"
Severus's eyes went wide once again. "Bloody hell, mum's on the warpath."
"Did ye have a purpose fer interrupting me work or not?" she demanded.
"I did!" Severus looked insulted.
"Then what?! Out with it, boy!"
Severus's dark eyes met her. They remained fixed on her eyes. His hand reached out, and batted her tea cup, toppling it onto its side. Still maintaining the eye contact, he slipped off her desk, and walked backwards to the door.
"What...?" she gaped at him.
Severus saluted, eyes still fixed on her. And then he proceeded to sprint off down the corridor, probably going to bother Albus for attention.
Minerva stared at the cup on its side.
"...what is wrong with you? Are ye some sorta overgrown kitty cat- oh. Oh my... SEVERUS!"
#yay ficlit!#sorta#but yeah hc that snape just walks into to minvera's room to just annoy her and then leaves#or he knocks her stuff down like a cat#you know because she's a cat#so he thinks bothering her like a cat is actually very hilarious and ironic#severus snape#minerva mcgonagall#also to be clear he's calling her “mum” as a term of address- their relationship isnt different to canon#(the “mother” part is him being extra sassy)#just cause i like the idea that he calls her mum

Rolling, Rolling, Red Bull
Max Verstappen x Fem!Reader
Summary… When the Drive to Survive crew shows up to film a behind-the-scenes look at Max Verstappen’s life off track, Y/N is less than thrilled to be in the spotlight. But between sarcastic interviews, soft domestic moments, and a now-viral deleted scene involving a jar of pesto, the world gets a glimpse of a Max they’ve never seen before. Boyfriend-coded. Cat-dad certified. And very, very soft for her.
A/N: I hope you guys enjoy! I’ve been kinda M.I.A. & irregular on my posting but I have been out of town for the last two week so I’ve been writing on my phone and it has been a little difficult.
I hope you guys enjoy this story and feel free to donate on my Ko-Fi, maybe that way I can buy a better computer and write more consistently for you guys.
like, comment, reblog, enjoy (:
⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆ ⋆。゚☁︎。⋆。 ゚☾ ゚。⋆
Y/N was halfway through brushing her teeth when Max knocked on the bathroom door.
“They’re here,” he said, muffled through the wood. “The Drive to Survive guys.”
She spat into the sink. “Tell them to come back never.”
Max laughed, leaning against the doorframe in joggers and a Red Bull hoodie, his hair still wet from the shower. “You said yes last night.”
“I was half-asleep and you bribed me with stroopwafels.”
He pushed the door open and gave her the most annoyingly charming grin. “And yet, here we are.”
⸻
The Netflix crew had set up in their living room, pretending the chaos of wires and camera angles was “low-key.” Max greeted them like old friends, casual and cool, while Y/N hovered awkwardly behind a kitchen stool, holding her coffee like a shield.
“Just pretend we’re not here,” the producer said, adjusting his headset.
“Impossible,” she muttered.
Max, ever the calm in the storm, slipped a hand around her waist. “You’ll be fine. Just be yourself.”
“That is the problem.”
⸻
They followed the couple through a normal day: breakfast on the balcony, Max fiddling with a simulator, Y/N curled up reading a book while their cats tried to chew on a mic cord.
But then they asked for a sit-down interview.
“Can you two just talk about what it’s like being in a relationship during the season?” the director asked, arranging pillows behind Y/N like this was a cozy podcast and not her personal nightmare.
Max shrugged. “It’s good. We don’t really fight.”
Y/N snorted. “You say that because you don’t consider ignoring my texts for six hours a fight.”
“I was driving,” he said, deadpan.
“You were on the simulator.”
“Same thing.”
The crew laughed. Max smiled sideways at her.
Then the director leaned in. “Y/N, how do you handle the pressure of being with someone constantly in the spotlight?”
She hesitated. Not because she didn’t know, but because she hadn’t expected the question to feel so… real.
“I don’t try to handle it,” she said slowly. “I just try to remind him that there’s a world outside of racing. That he’s more than just Max Verstappen the driver.”
Max’s expression softened—one of those rare looks he saved just for her, all warm gaze and relaxed jawline.
“And she’s the only one who gets away with calling me out when I start acting like a robot,” he added, voice lower now.
There was a pause.
“Wow,” the sound guy whispered.
“Keep rolling,” the director whispered back.
⸻
Later, when they were reviewing footage in the trailer, someone asked if they could get a shot of Max hugging Y/N.
“We have the paddock stuff, the Monaco stuff—but we need something soft to end on.”
Max found her sitting on the edge of the Red Bull hospitality couch, phone in hand.
He didn’t say anything. Just walked up, pulled her into his chest, and kissed the top of her head. Cameras or not.
“You’re doing great,” he said.
“You owe me ten stroopwafels and a massage.”
“I’ll give you twelve.”
The camera rolled as she smiled against his hoodie, arms tightening around his waist.
And later, when the season aired, fans clipped that moment. Over and over.
“Who knew Max Verstappen could be soft?”
“Protect this woman at all costs.”
“Relationship goals.”
But to Max, it was just Tuesday.
_______
Deleted Scene
Y/N stood barefoot in the kitchen, struggling with a stubborn jar of pesto. The label peeled at the edge, and the lid refused to budge despite two dish towels and her full body weight.
“Max!” she called, mildly annoyed. “Can you come here?”
Off-camera, you hear footsteps. Then Max appears in the kitchen doorway, looking suspicious. “What did I do?”
“Nothing. Just open this before I yeet it into the sea.”
He walks over, takes the jar, and opens it effortlessly with one twist.
She stares. “Are you serious?”
He grins, proud. “You loosened it.”
“Uh-huh.”
Without missing a beat, he dips a finger into the pesto and sticks it in his mouth.
“Max!” she gasps, swatting him with a tea towel. “That’s for dinner!”
He shrugs. “Taste test.”
A Netflix producer can be heard laughing behind the camera.
“Can we actually keep rolling?” another asks. “This is gold.”
Y/N turns, catching the crew still filming, and mock-glares at the camera.
“I’m going to need hazard pay.”
Max wraps an arm around her waist and plants a pesto-flavored kiss on her cheek.
“No one would believe how domestic you are,” Y/N mutters, smirking.
“Good. Let them think I’m scary.”
⸻
But don’t worry. The pesto jar ended up on eBay “signed by Max,” with a sticky note that read:
“She loosened it.” – M.V.
All proceeds went to cat shelters. Because Max demanded it.

White Horse - Chapter 13: February 2024 - Part 1
Pairing: Max Verstappen x Isabelle Leclerc (Original Character)
Summary:
Max Verstappen is a World Champion. Isabelle Leclerc is invisible.
She watched her family give up everything for Charles’ career—Arthur’s karting, their father’s savings, even her childhood horse. She understood. She never asked for more.
But Max does. He notices the things no one else does, listens when no one else will, and puts her first in ways she never imagined. With him, she isn’t an afterthought—she’s a choice. And for the first time, she realizes she doesn’t have to be invisible.
Warnings and Notes:
we have now moved on from Charles bashing to bashing his whole family, Discussions of toxic past relationships, talk about loosing a childhood pet, toxic families, Me trying to write therapy sessions, Oscar being a lost little duckling, Lando being a feral street cat, Brocedes in the year 2024? Sebastian Vettel making a guest appearance just for myself.
As always big thanks to @llirawolf , who listens to me ramble

Text Conversation: Max Verstappen & Oscar Piastri
Max: You free tonight?
Oscar: uh I think so? Why?
Max: come to dinner.
Oscar: …okay? Where?
Max: Our place. 7pm. We’re already feeding Lando. And Belle adopted you.
Oscar: I’m honored? I think?
Max: Good. Bring your appetite. And maybe patience.
Max: Lando’s already being dramatic about it.
Oscar: What’s new?
Max: Exactly. See you at 7.
***
Oscar showed up at Max and Belle’s apartment at 7:02 p.m., clutching a bottle of wine he wasn't sure they'd need and trying not to look like he was afraid.
The door opened before he could even knock properly.
Max stood there, expression dry. "Two minutes late. Tragic."
Oscar grinned sheepishly. "Traffic?"
Max just shook his head, stepping aside to let him in.
The second he entered, Oscar spotted Lando sprawled on the couch, dramatically claiming all the cushions like some sort of feral housecat.
One of the actual cats was glaring at him from the armrest.
Belle appeared from the kitchen, wiping her hands on a towel, smiling when she saw Oscar. "Hey, you made it."
Oscar relaxed immediately. "Wouldn’t miss it."
"You’re brave," Belle teased, nodding toward Lando. "He’s been sulking for half an hour."
"I’m not sulking!" Lando yelped from the couch. "I’m... emotionally preparing!"
"For what?" Oscar asked, genuinely curious.
He looked up and immediately pointed accusingly.
"Traitor!" Lando said dramatically. "You got adopted before me!"
Oscar grinned and dropped into the seat across from him. "Not my fault you’re unadoptable."
Max, passing by with a plate of food, muttered under his breath, "Natural selection."
Belle rolled her eyes fondly and started setting plates on the table.
Oscar stood up to help without even thinking about it — grabbing forks, glasses, anything she pointed at — and Lando immediately protested.
"Hey! No stealing points! That’s cheating!"
Oscar grinned. "Skill issue, mate."
"You are SUCH a teacher's pet," Lando groaned dramatically, as he came to help as well.
Max dropped down into a chair at the table with a smirk. "You're both insufferable."
Belle just smiled, utterly unbothered, moving around the kitchen like this chaos was completely normal.
Oscar, trailing after her as they finished getting everything ready, cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Hey, uh," he said under his breath. "Quick question."
Belle turned, eyebrow raised. "Yeah?"
Oscar rubbed the back of his neck, feeling about twelve years old. "Heard you freelance now? Like, design stuff?"
Belle nodded. "Architecture and interiors. Why?"
Oscar winced. "Hypothetically... if someone's apartment was a complete catastrophe... and that someone’s girlfriend was visiting Monaco in two weeks... could I, uh... hire you? Like, officially?"
Belle blinked, then smiled — warm and kind. "Oscar."
"I’ll pay!" he blurted out. "Or like... buy you coffee. Or cat toys."
Belle laughed, soft and musical.
"You don’t have to pay me," she said. "I’ll help you."
Oscar sagged in relief.
Belle just shook her head, grabbing the last plate and nudging Oscar toward the table. "Sit. Eat. We’ll save your apartment later."
Oscar smiled, warm and easy.
This — this ridiculous, chaotic little world — It felt like home already.
***
When Belle showed up at his apartment, Oscar knew he was in trouble.
She stepped inside with a tote bag slung over her shoulder — full of measuring tape, a notebook, a fabric swatch or two — and immediately gave the whole place a slow, assessing once-over.
Oscar stood awkwardly in the middle of the mess, like a defendant waiting for sentencing.
Belle didn’t say anything at first. She just exhaled, long and low, and shook her head fondly.
"We have work to do," she said, setting her bag down with finality.
Oscar smiled, a little helplessly. "I know."
And then she took over — completely.
Belle moved through the apartment like a general, gentle but utterly in control. She measured walls, vetoed half the sad furniture he tried to keep, drew rough sketches of new layouts.
"No," she said calmly when he pointed at a sad, lumpy chair. "That’s not a chair. That’s a health hazard."
"But it’s vintage—" Oscar tried.
"It’s a crime," Belle corrected, utterly unfazed.
Oscar found himself trailing after her, nodding obediently as she rattled off notes: "We’ll need a new rug. A real lamp. You’re getting curtains, Oscar, not just sticking paper over the windows like a college student."
It should have been overwhelming. But Belle made it easy — light, funny, somehow never making him feel stupid for needing the help.
And somewhere in the middle of hauling a sad, broken coffee table toward the door, Oscar realized:
She’s so nice.
Not the fake kind of nice — not the "I’m being polite because I have to" nice. The real kind. The kind you didn’t earn — the kind she just gave, freely and without asking anything back.
It hit him harder than he expected.
And for the life of him, Oscar couldn’t understand — How could her brothers not see it?
Later, while they sat on the floor eating sandwiches she had packed ("I didn’t trust your fridge," Belle had said, deadpan), Oscar glanced over at her.
She was perched against the wall, hair falling into her face, sketching something in the notebook balanced on her knees.
"Can I ask you something?" he said before he could second-guess it.
Belle looked up, curious. "Of course."
"Why are you helping me?" he asked, voice low. "You don’t have to. I’m not your responsibility."
Belle smiled — small and real.
"When I moved to Paris," she said, "for university, I didn’t know anyone. I was eighteen. Scared. Completely overwhelmed."
Oscar stayed quiet, listening.
"I met my best friend Emilie my second week at Sorbonne," Belle continued. "She saw me drop all my books in the metro. Helped me pick them up. And then — without even asking — she took me under her wing." Belle’s voice softened, threading with something warm. "She showed me the little things. How to find the good groceries. Where to get a real coffee. Which bus routes were safe late at night."
She smiled faintly. "She saved me, in a way. Made Paris feel like home."
Oscar felt something ache in his chest.
"And when I asked her why," Belle said, looking back down at her notebook, "Emilie said: 'Because someone should.'"
Oscar swallowed hard.
"And now," Belle added, glancing up at him, "I guess... I just think everyone deserves that. Especially people like you."
Oscar laughed, soft and stunned. "What, hopeless cases?"
Belle’s smile widened. "No. Good ones."
Oscar looked at her — really looked at her — sitting cross-legged on his floor, sleeves pushed up, caramel hair catching the light from the window.
He thought about how easy it would be for her to be selfish. How the world hadn’t exactly been kind to her, but she still chose to be kind anyway.
"Thanks, Belle," he said quietly.
She just smiled, like it was the easiest thing in the world. Like giving kindness was as natural as breathing.
And Oscar realized — maybe it was, for people like her.

Nico Rosberg liked the quiet of the stables just outside Monaco.
It was one of the few places in Monaco where people didn’t care who he was — just another dad holding juice boxes and brushing mud off boots.
The stables had become something of a second home on weekends in the off-season.
His daughters loved their riding lessons — loved the ponies, the hay-scented air, the thrill of mastering the trot.
Nico leaned against the fence, arms crossed, sipping a coffee, watching them finish their class.
He smiled when he saw the younger one waving excitedly at someone near the paddock entrance.
There she was.
The woman both his daughters constantly talked about.
"Belle helps me with my pony!"
"Belle makes the best braids!"
"Belle said I did the best two-point position today!"
Isabelle Leclerc.
Nico had pieced it together after the second or third lesson — the soft-spoken young woman who occasionally helped at the stables wasn’t just any Monaco local.
She was Charles Leclerc’s sister.
Though you wouldn’t know it from her.
No airs. No attitude.
Just patience, steady encouragement, and a laugh that made the kids beam with pride when she said they did something well.
Today, she knelt beside his youngest daughter, adjusting the stirrup leathers with careful hands, chatting easily as the girl nodded along solemnly.
Nico smiled to himself.
He liked her — genuinely liked her.
There was a calmness to her he rarely saw.
He was about to wave when he caught movement from the corner of his eye — someone slipping through the stable gates with practiced ease.
Max Verstappen.
Not in race gear.
Not in Red Bull blue.
Just jeans and a hoodie, baseball cap covering his messy hair.
Nico blinked.
Max? Here?
He looked... easy. Comfortable.
Especially when Isabelle turned, spotted him, and lit up with a smile that could have powered half of Monaco.
Max’s whole face changed at the sight of her. Softened. Brightened.
He walked straight to her, not hesitating, crouching to say something that made her laugh — that small, quiet laugh Nico had seen his daughters light up over.
Max reached out, brushed a stray piece of hay from her hair like it was instinct.
Nico straightened slowly against the fence, eyebrows raising.
Oh.
Oh.
He watched for a moment longer, unnoticed.
Watched how Max’s hand lingered at the small of Isabelle’s back.
Watched how easily she leaned into him, unthinking.
Not new.
Not casual.
Something steady.
One of Nico’s daughters came running up, cheeks flushed with excitement. "Papa! Belle said I can ride Daisy next week!"
"That’s wonderful,," Nico said, ruffling her hair. "Did you say thank you?"
"Yes!" she beamed.
He gave her a kiss on the forehead, sent her back toward the stables, and took a slow sip of his coffee, considering.
Later, as Max drifted closer — probably spotting him now that the initial magnet pull toward Isabelle had worn off — Nico met him with a knowing smile.
"Max," Nico said lightly. "Didn’t know you were into ponies."
Max shrugged, the barest smile tugging at the corner of his mouth. "I’m into her."
Nico chuckled under his breath. "Figured."
Max shoved his hands deeper into his pockets, eyes never leaving Isabelle, who was now kneeling to show a little girl how to buckle a bridle properly.
"My daughters adore her," Nico said after a beat. "Apparently ‘Belle’ is the best teacher they’ve ever had."
Max smiled then — properly, fully — something so rare and genuine that Nico almost did a double take.
"Yeah," Max said, voice low. "They’re not wrong."
They stood there for a moment, two men who had seen the brutal side of fame and pressure, silently agreeing that this — this quiet, real thing — was worth a hell of a lot more.
"Charles know?" Nico asked eventually, curious but gentle.
Max huffed a dry laugh. "No."
Nico winced. "Oof."
Max shrugged, unbothered. "Doesn’t matter. She’s mine."
There was no arrogance in the words.
Just certainty.
Steel wrapped in something terrifyingly soft.
Nico smiled slightly. "Good. Don’t lose that."
"I won’t," Max said simply.
Isabelle looked up then, spotting them across the arena.
She gave a small wave, smiling — easy and bright, like the sun slipping through the clouds.
Later, Nico watched Max head back toward the barn, where Isabelle was helping the younger kids put away their helmets, her hair half-falling out of her braid, her cheeks pink with the cool air.
Max didn’t even look at anyone else.
Max was watching Isabelle the way Nico watched Vivian — with a kind of unconscious gravity, like the rest of the world had blurred out and there was only her left.
And Isabelle — She looked up, caught Max’s eye, and smiled again — soft, sure, like she knew exactly where he’d always end up.
Nico shook his head fondly and muttered under his breath, "The paddock is not ready for this."

Text Conversation: Isabelle Leclerc & Oscar Piastri
Oscar: Hi Oscar: sorry to bug you again Oscar: But can i ask for another favor?
Isabelle: Hi Oscar Isabelle: you’re never bugging me Isabelle: what’s up?
Oscar: Do you have any good restaurant recommendations for Valentine’s day? like... somewhere actually nice but not stupidly touristy?
Isabelle: You’re planning a Valentine’s dinner?
Oscar: Yeah. First one in Monaco… I want it to be good
Isabelle: That’s really sweet.
Oscar: I’ve got a short list already. I just need your opinion because Lando’s advice was (quoting here) “idk just get pasta or something, she’ll live”
Isabelle: oh my god
Oscar: I know
Isabelle: Send me your list. I’ll help you pick.
Oscar: Maison Bleue, Le Petit Bar or maybe that little italian place near the flower market?
Isabelle: All good choices!! Isabelle: I would lean Maison Bleue Isabelle: It’s a little quieter, more romantic
Oscar: Perfect, thank you!! Also already got her a necklace so I’m like 90% prepared, only panicking a little bit.
Isabelle: You’re more prepared than 99% of people I know (cough my brothers cough)
Oscar: …Do they not plan?
Isabelle: They just expect me to plan everything. Birthdays, anniversaries, mother’s day, sometimes their friends' birthdays too.
Oscar: ... that’s awful.
Isabelle: It’s nice that you asked and that you already had ideas. I am not used to that.
Oscar: Of course? You’re helping me. It’s the least I can do to be a human about it.
Isabelle: You’re a very good human, Oscar
Oscar: You’re a very good human, too, Belle.
****
It started with a text.
Arthur: Isabelle HELP I forgot to book anything for valentine’s day what do i do
Then Lorenzo chimed in.
Lorenzo: Hey, can you find a florist for me? Everything’s sold out.
And then Charles, predictably, a minute later.
Charles:Can you order something for Alex? I don’t know what she likes.
Isabelle stared at the group chat, feeling that familiar, sick tightening in her stomach.
They just assumed she would fix it — like she always did.
No hello, no how are you, no are you busy.
Just Isabelle, save us.
She set the phone down on the counter carefully, like it might explode.
Max was leaning against the stove, stirring something in a pot. He looked up when he saw her face.
"What's wrong?"
Isabelle opened her mouth. Closed it again.
And then, quietly: "They want me to fix Valentine’s Day for them."
Max didn’t say anything for a second. Just studied her, like he already knew she was about to go to war with herself.
"You don’t have to," he said softly.
"But if I don’t—" she started, and stopped, clenching her hands into fists. "If I don’t, they’ll be upset. Or disappointed. Or say I’m selfish."
Max set the spoon down carefully, wiped his hands on a towel, and crossed the kitchen to her.
He took her face in his hands, gentle but firm.
"Belle," he said, voice steady. "You are not responsible for their girlfriends' happiness."
Tears pricked behind her eyes. She hated how easily they came now, how raw she always felt lately.
But Max didn’t flinch. Didn’t rush her.
"You deserve to have a Valentine’s Day too," he said. "You deserve to put yourself first."
Isabelle nodded, shaky, terrified — but somehow, deep down, she knew he was right.
She picked up her phone with trembling fingers and, for once, instead of making excuses or softening the blow, she just… said the truth.
Isabelle: I’m sorry, but I’m not available to help this time. Good luck.
She hit send before she could overthink it, before she could drown in the guilt.
There was a long, aching silence.
Then Arthur's message popped up.
Arthur: seriously? wow. okay then.
And another from Charles.
Charles: Nice. Thanks for nothing.
And Lorenzo, icing on the cake.
Lorenzo:Guess we know who we can count on.
The shame hit her hard and fast, brutal in a way only family could manage.
She set the phone down again and braced her hands against the counter, breathing hard, fighting not to crumple.
Max didn’t say I told you so.
He didn’t say they’re assholes, even though she could see it in his eyes.
He just moved behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, resting his chin lightly on her shoulder.
"You did the right thing," he murmured against her skin. "I’m proud of you."
Isabelle choked on a laugh that was half sob, half relief.
"But they’re mad."
"So let them be mad," Max said. "You’re not their secretary. You’re not responsible for their poor planning."
She turned in his arms, burying her face in his chest, breathing him in. Steady. Solid. Hers.
"It hurts," she whispered.
"I know," he said. "But hurting doesn’t mean you did the wrong thing. Sometimes it just means you’re finally doing the right thing."
He rubbed her back in slow circles, patient and sure.
"You’re allowed to choose yourself," Max said. "Every time."
And Isabelle, standing there in their kitchen, wrapped in his arms, knew: This was what real love looked like.
Not demands.
Not expectations.
Not conditional approval.
Just acceptance.
Just safety.
Just Max.

Team Redline Stream – Transcript
Stream starts, usual chatter as the guys set up for the race.
Luke: “Alright, so Valentine’s Day is in two days. Anyone got plans?”
Gianni Vecchio: “Uh—”
Chris Lulham: “Define ‘plans.’”
Gianni: “I mean… I’ll figure something out.”
Luke: “That means no one has done anything.”
Max: already annoyed “Useless. All of you.”
Chris: “Oh, and you have plans then?”
Max: “Of course. What kind of question is that? I love my girlfriend.”
Twitch chat:
• here we go again
• max “i love my girlfriend” verstappen strikes
• the way this man is always 10 steps ahead
• someone check on the team redline WAGs
Gianni: groaning “Okay, yeah, we get it, you’re in love.”
Max: “No, because seriously—why do so many guys just assume their girlfriend or wife or mother or sister will handle everything? How is that cute? It’s embarrassing.”
Gianni: laughs “Tell us how you really feel.”
Max: “I will. Because it’s not just Valentine’s Day. It’s all the time. Birthdays, holidays, family events—who does all the planning? Who buys the gifts? Who remembers every single thing? The women. And the men just show up, say ‘Oh nice,’ and then act like they had anything to do with it.”
Chris: “Alright, I feel personally attacked.”
Max: “Good. Do something about it.”
Twitch chat:
• he’s SO MAD HELP
• he’s right and he should say it
• max verstappen, feminist king??
• every girlfriend watching this is nodding
Gianni: whistles “This is… a lot of feelings.”
Max: not done yet “No, because I’ve seen it firsthand, and it pisses me off. You know how many times I’ve watched someone handle everything for the people in their life and not even get a thank you? Not even acknowledged? Like it’s just expected? They do it because they care, but no one ever stops to think, ‘Oh, maybe they’d like to feel appreciated too.’” And if they for once don’t do it, the passive aggressiveness is through the roof, because they take it for fucking granted! It’s actually pathetic. Like, you are an adult, but you can’t book a damn dinner reservation? You need your sister to do that for you?!
Gianni: “Oh, this is personal-personal.”
Max: “Of course it’s personal! I see it happen to people I care about all the time. They put in so much effort and get nothing back. Their family forgets things that matter to them, just assumes they’ll be fine with it. Do you know how awful that is? To love people who don’t even notice when you’re hurting?”
Twitch chat:
• nah bc this just got too real
• someone in max’s life is NOT getting enough love and he’s fighting for their life rn
• blinking twice for the mystery girlfriend rn
• the way this man is not even being subtle anymore
Chris: nervous laughter “Uh… yeah, that sucks.”
Max: flatly “Yeah. It does.”
Gianni: “I feel like I should be taking notes.”
Max: “You should.”
Luke: “So… are you gonna tell us what you planned?”
Max: “No.”
Gianni: “So you’re out here preaching about effort but won’t give us ideas?”
Max: “Correct.”
Chris: “You’re actually evil.”
Max: smirking “Maybe.”
Race starts. Max wins, because of course he does.
Twitch chat:
• he went on a 10-minute rant then destroyed everyone on track. classic
• someone tell the mystery gf that max has a RING READY bc there’s no way he doesn’t
• max: “i love my gf and i hate men who do nothing”
• whoever he’s talking about, i hope they know he would actually burn the world down for them

Meanwhile on Twitter:
@/F1GossipQueen: Max Verstappen just went on a full-on TED Talk during the Team Redline stream about how men need to step up and actually plan things for the women in their lives. I have NEVER seen him this passionate about anything that isn’t racing.
@/LandoStan_4: Nah, because the way he said, “It’s not even just about Valentine’s Day or girlfriends or wives, it’s always the women in families doing all the planning and never getting a thank you,” like he had a PERSONAL vendetta.
@/softverstappen: Who hurt you, Max??
@/F1memes_daily: Max Verstappen when he thinks about men who make their wives and girlfriends or mothers or sisters plan every holiday, birthday, anniversary, and social event: [insert exploding volcano meme]
@/GridTea: I swear he was holding back from name-dropping someone specific. The frustration was too real.
@/ChaosLeclerc: The way he said, “You are an adult, but you can’t book a dinner reservation?” sir who are you calling out.
@/TireDeg_33: I’m telling you, his mysterious girlfriend is fighting for her LIFE against the invisible burden of being the only responsible one in her family.
@/AloNorrisFan: The man really said, “Bare minimum behavior is NOT cute,” and you know what? He’s so right.
@/DR3Honeybadger: Max Verstappen being the voice of reason for women everywhere was not on my 2024 bingo card.
@/F1_WAGwatch: We all joke about ‘wife guy’ Max, but this just confirmed it. He’s SO in love and he’s SO annoyed on her behalf.
@/PitLaneDrama: This was NOT a general take. This was deeply personal. Whoever she is, she’s got this man READY TO FIGHT.
@/MaxFanClub: Honestly, this is the kind of energy we need from men. He called out half the grid without even naming names.
@/RedBullBesties: Lmao Max really said, “Bare minimum? Embarrassing. Do better.”
@/UndercutStrategy: His girlfriend better be watching this like [insert smug cat meme] because she’s got the reigning world champion out here advocating for her rights.
@/McLarenChaos: I need to know what triggered this. Did someone in his friend group forget a birthday? Did he overhear some teammate say “my girl will plan it” and see red??
@/F1DetectiveAgency: There’s a bigger mystery here… who IS she, and why does Max Verstappen love her so much that he’s out here calling out society???
@/FormulaLover: Max really said, “Love is about effort,” and I’m gonna need the men on this app to take notes.
@/DR3Always: He was talking to someone SPECIFIC. You can’t tell me this was just a general rant. He had receipts.
@/VerstappenSimp33: Max Verstappen, voice of the people. Advocate for women everywhere. A true feminist icon.
@/F1Detectives: There’s something SO funny about Max Verstappen, of all people, being the one to passionately call out the mental load women carry in relationships.
@/RedBullF1Fan: I’ve never seen a man so aggressively pro-Valentine’s Day.
@/SassyTauri: Max out here unionizing girlfriends.

Lily wasn’t exactly worried, flying into Monaco to visit Oscar for Valentine’s Day — but she was... curious.
Very curious.
She loved Oscar — loved his quiet steadiness, his dry humor, the way he texted her good morning no matter what timezone he was in.
But decorating had never exactly been his strong suit.
When he said "I’m settling into the apartment pretty well!" over FaceTime a few weeks ago, she’d had... doubts.
Mild, loving doubts.
Visions of mattress-on-the-floor bachelor chaos danced in her head.
So when she walked into his place for the first time — duffel bag still slung over her shoulder — she stopped dead just inside the door.
Blinking.
Staring.
The living room actually... looked good.
There was a real couch.
Matching throw pillows.
A soft rug that didn’t look like it came free with a video game console.
Curtains that actually matched the walls.
Fresh flowers on the kitchen island.
It was— it was warm. It looked like a home.
She turned slowly to Oscar, who was hovering nervously behind her, hands stuffed in his pockets.
"You did this," she said slowly. It wasn’t exactly a question. More like an accusation.
Oscar flushed. "Well... sort of."
She narrowed her eyes, stepping further inside. "Oscar. Be honest."
He rubbed the back of his neck, sheepish. "I had help."
Lily folded her arms. "Yeah, no kidding. This has woman’s touch written all over it."
Oscar winced. "Belle helped."
Lily blinked. “Belle?
"Isabelle Leclerc."Oscar answered, grinning now. "Charles’ sister."
Lily remembered her vaguely — a soft smile, a quiet presence tucked in the corners of the paddock. Kind, but easy to miss if you weren’t paying attention.
"Do I need to be worried?" Lily joked lightly, bumping his hip.
Oscar laughed so hard he nearly dropped her suitcase.
"Trust me," he said, still grinning, "you don’t. I think she adopted me. Like... another cat."
Lily snorted.
Oscar leaned against the wall, arms crossed. "Besides, I don’t have three Drivers’ Championships and a fleet of cats. I’m not her type."
Lily stared at him. Oscar just raised one eyebrow. “Isabelle Leclerc and Max Verstappen?” Lily said, surprise colouring her voice.
“Absolutely besotted with each other” Oscar said with a laugh. “And he’s good for her.”
"You like her," Lily said after a beat, softer now. "Not like that — but you like her."
Oscar nodded immediately.
"Yeah. She’s..." He trailed off, searching for the right words. "She’s the kind of person who just helps, you know? Without making you feel like you owe her for it."
Lily smiled, stepping closer to loop her arms around his waist.
"Sounds like you lucked out," she said.
Oscar smiled, pressing a kiss to her hair. "I definitely did."
Lily glanced around the apartment again — at the carefully chosen throw blankets, the tiny succulents on the windowsill, the framed print over the couch that actually matched the room instead of clashing violently.
She thought of the quiet girl she'd seen once or twice, standing in the background while her brothers soaked up all the attention.
And Lily decided, very quietly, that she liked this Belle already.
A lot.

Monaco at night always looked beautiful.
All glitter and shine, like the whole city was pretending to be softer than it really was.
Lewis Hamilton knew better. He wasn’t dazzled by the surface anymore.
He was walking back from a late dinner with some old friends, hands tucked into the pockets of his jacket, keeping his head down, when the world exploded.
The screech of tires.
A flash of headlights where they shouldn’t be.
The sickening crunch of metal hitting metal.
Lewis whipped around just in time to see it happen.
A green Volvo — coming through the intersection on a green light — blindsided by a black SUV that barreled through the red without even slowing down.
The impact spun the green car sideways, sending it skidding up onto the curb, crumpled against a light post. The SUV swerved wildly, tires smoking, before lurching to a stop a few meters away.
Lewis didn’t think. He sprinted.
He reached the green car first, heart pounding hard enough to drown out the sounds of shouting passersby. The front end was mangled, the windshield spiderwebbed with cracks, airbags deployed.
He yanked the passenger side door open — the driver’s side was crushed in — and leaned across.
"Hey, hey—" he said urgently. "Stay with me. You okay?"
The girl inside was small, dazed, blood trickling from a cut above her eyebrow.
Blinking slowly, struggling to focus.
It took him a second to recognize her.
Isabelle Leclerc. Charles’s sister.
"Isabelle," he said more gently. "It’s Lewis. You’re okay. I’m right here."
She stared at him, glassy-eyed, her breathing shallow and fast.
Shock. Pure shock.
Lewis cursed under his breath, fumbling for his phone with one hand.
He called emergency services first, rattling off the location, demanding an ambulance. Then he crouched by the open door again, keeping his voice low and steady.
"You’re doing great, Isabelle. Just breathe. Help’s on the way."
Her hands were trembling badly. She tried to unbuckle herself and flinched at the movement.
"Don’t," Lewis said quickly. "Stay put. You could be hurt worse than you know. Just sit still for me, okay?"
She nodded, small and shaky, tears starting to well in her wide, shocked eyes.
Lewis took off his jacket and draped it over her lap to keep her warm, crouching to stay at her eye level.
"I’m gonna call your brother, yeah?" he said gently. "Charles’ll want to know—"
Isabelle’s hand shot out, grabbing his sleeve with surprising force.
"No," she said, her voice raw and cracking. "Don’t call him. Please."
Lewis blinked, caught off guard. "Isabelle—"
"Please," she said again, desperate now. "Don’t call him."
Lewis sat back on his heels, frowning slightly.
He didn’t argue — it was clear she wasn’t in any state to be pushed — but it planted a seed of confusion deep in his gut.
He knew families could be complicated.
But something about the panic in her voice unsettled him.
Not embarrassment.
Not stubbornness.
Something deeper.
Fear, maybe. Or exhaustion.
He swallowed hard, nodding slowly. "Alright. I won’t call him."
Isabelle sagged back into the seat, closing her eyes tightly, breathing ragged.
The ambulance sirens wailed in the distance, getting closer.
Lewis stayed right there, hand braced lightly on her knee to let her know he wasn’t leaving.
Future teammate, he thought grimly, the words sitting heavy in his chest.
He’d just signed with Ferrari.
Was about to step into the same garage as Charles Leclerc next year.
He knew Charles — or at least, he thought he did.
But now he wondered.
Because whatever was going on between Isabelle and her brother — whatever had made her so terrified at the idea of him finding out — it wasn’t simple.
It wasn’t small.
And Lewis, for the first time since agreeing to the move, felt the first real crack of doubt spider across the surface of everything he thought he knew.
***
Max’s phone rang late—too late for anything normal. Isabelle had been at Emilie’s for the evening, some kind of girls’ night that they always did just before Valentine’s day, involving ice cream and bad Rom-Coms.
He was already half-asleep, curled up in bed with Sassy stretched across his legs, when the vibration jolted him awake. He frowned, blinking at the screen.
Belle ❤️
Something in his chest tightened.
"Schatje?" he answered, already sitting up. "What’s going on?"
There was a pause. A breath. Then, softly—too softly—Isabelle said, "Max."
He was awake instantly.
"What happened?"
"I'm okay," she said immediately. "I'm at the hospital."
Max was already moving, throwing off the blanket and reaching for his sweatpants. "What? Why?"
"There was an accident," she admitted. "A drunk driver ran a red light and hit my car."
His blood went cold. "Where?"
"Just outside the tunnel," she said. "Max, I'm okay."
"You’re in the hospital, Isabelle," he snapped, shoving his feet into sneakers. "That’s not okay."
"They just wanted to check me over," she reassured him. "No serious injuries, just some bruises. Probably because of the Volvo."
The one he insisted she get, because safety ratings mattered more than aesthetics, because he’d seen too many crashes to trust anything less.
"Which hospital?" he demanded.
"Max—"
"Which one, Isabelle?"
She sighed. "Princess Grace."
"I’m coming."
"You don’t have to—"
"I'm coming," he repeated, already grabbing his keys.
There was another pause, then, quieter: "Okay."
"Stay on the phone with me," he said as he got into the car, putting her on speaker. His hands were tight fists, his heart hammering against his ribs. "Tell me exactly what happened."
She exhaled. "I was driving back from dinner with Emilie. It was late, so the roads weren’t busy. I had a green light. Then, out of nowhere, this car just—slammed into the side of me. Hard."
Max’s grip tightened on his phone.
"The police said he was drunk. Almost twice the legal limit."
"Fuck," Max muttered.
"I didn’t even see him coming," she admitted. "One second everything was fine, the next… airbags, the car spinning, glass everywhere. Then people running over, trying to get the door open."
Max clenched his jaw, swallowing against the sheer terror clawing up his throat.
"Isabelle," he said, voice rough, "are you sure you're okay?"
"I promise, I am."
Max exhaled shakily, throwing the car into park.
"I'm here," he told her. "Where are you?"
"Emergency department."
Two minutes later, he found her sitting on an exam bed, her coat draped over her lap, her hair slightly disheveled but otherwise—whole.
The moment her eyes met his, relief flooded her face.
Max didn’t hesitate. He crossed the room in two strides and pulled her into his arms, burying his face in her hair, inhaling the familiar scent of her perfume. She was warm. Real. Breathing.
"I hate you driving alone at night," he muttered against her temple.
"I know," she whispered, holding onto him just as tightly.
"You're getting a driver."
"Max—"
"I'm serious."
She huffed a small laugh. "My Volvo might have saved my life tonight."
Max just tightened his grip, pressing a kiss to the side of her head. "Then I'm never letting you drive anything else."
Max didn’t let go for a long time. He just held her, breathing her in, grounding himself in the fact that she was here, in one piece, instead of—
He couldn’t even think about the alternative.
Isabelle eventually pulled back slightly, just enough to look at him. “You really didn’t have to come all the way here.”
Max gave her a look. “Don’t say stupid things.”
He kissed her forehead, then her cheek, before pulling back properly to look her over. She looked tired—her makeup smudged from the night, her hair messy, a faint red mark along her collarbone where the seatbelt must have held her back.
Max pulled back only when a nurse cleared her throat nearby.
"We're keeping her overnight," she said, flipping through the chart. "Mild concussion. And her vitals were a little unstable when she came in — classic shock. Nothing serious, but better to monitor."
Max nodded tightly. "Good. That's good."
Isabelle groaned quietly. "Max, it’s not that bad—"
"Not arguing," he said firmly. "You're staying."
The nurse handed Isabelle two small white pills and a cup of water. Painkillers, she explained. Isabelle took them without complaint, sagging back against the pillows.
"She’ll be moved upstairs to a private room soon," the nurse said. "You can stay, if you’d like."
It didn’t take long before the painkillers hit her.
By the time they had put her in a private room, Belle was definitely enjoying the side effects of said pills.
She turned her head slowly, blinking up at him like he’d just materialized out of thin air.
“Max,” she said dreamily, her voice soft and a little slurred.
He moved closer, crouching so he was at eye level. "I’m here, Schatje. How do you feel?"
She reached out clumsily, grabbing the front of his hoodie and tugging him closer.
“I love you so much,” she mumbled, her face squishing against his chest. “Like…stupid much.”
Max’s heart twisted painfully in his chest.
“I love you too,” he murmured, brushing her hair gently off her forehead. “You’re concussed, sweetheart. You need to rest.”
She didn’t listen.
Instead, she stared up at him with big, glassy eyes and announced, very seriously: “You’re the best boyfriend in the whole world. The best. Like, you should get an award. A giant trophy.”
Max bit back a laugh, swallowing against the lump in his throat. “I don’t need a trophy, Belle. You’re enough.”
“No, no,” she insisted, poking his chest with one finger. “You don’t understand. You’re...you’re like, made of magic. You’re so good, Max. You’re…you’re my favorite,” she said solemnly, like it was the most important announcement in the world. "More than croissants. More than horses. More than the cats."
Max smiled, throat tight. "High praise."
She nodded, wide-eyed. "Don't tell Sassy."
"Your secret’s safe with me." He caught her hand gently, threading his fingers through hers. “You’re my favorite too.”
She blinked at him, still fighting to stay awake. “You’re so pretty, too. So pretty it’s rude. Like, how are you so pretty? It’s criminal.”
Max let out a soft chuckle, pressing a kiss to her knuckles. “You think I’m pretty?”
“I think you’re beautiful,” she said solemnly. Isabelle blinked up at him, utterly adoring. “You have such nice eyelashes. They’re so long. You know that? It’s not fair.”
“Schatje—”
“And you smell really good. Like soap and anger.”
Max bit back a laugh. “You’re off your head.”
She poked his chest with a finger. “You’re in love with me.”
He blinked. “That’s true, yes.”
She lit up. “I knew it! Good. Because I’m in love with you too. Like, so much. Stupid in love with you.”
Max melted and tried not to show it.
“I’m gonna marry you,” she added helpfully. “Someday.”
He leaned down and kissed her forehead. “Yeah? That the morphine talking?”
“No,” she mumbled. “That’s me talking. But the morphine is making it easier.”
Max took her hand and squeezed it. “Good. Because I’d marry you too. But first, we’re getting you better. No wedding until you can walk in a straight line.”
“I can walk in a straight line,” she said proudly. “It just moves sometimes.”
He laughed, unable to help it.
She just tugged him down until he was practically draped across her, clinging to him like he might vanish.
“Promise you won’t leave,” she whispered.
Max kissed the top of her head. “I’m not going anywhere. I’ll be right here the whole night.”
“You’re my safe place,” she murmured, her voice thick with sleep and meds. “You always make me feel safe.”
Max closed his eyes for a moment, breathing her in.
He would’ve fought the whole world to keep her safe. He would’ve torn Monaco apart brick by brick if it meant putting her back together.
“You’re safe,” he whispered back. “I promise.”
Isabelle finally drifted into a light sleep, her fingers still tangled tightly in his hoodie. Max stayed right there, sitting awkwardly on the edge of the bed, letting her use him as a pillow if that’s what she needed.

Lewis: Ran into a situation in Monaco tonight. Lewis: A car crash. Drunk driver. Lewis: Girl got hit.
Sebastian: Christ. Sebastian: Is she okay???
Lewis: Yeah. Shaken up. Lewis: Shocky. Lewis: It was Isabelle Leclerc.
Sebastian: ...wait. Sebastian: Charles’s sister Isabelle??
Lewis: Yeah. Lewis: I stayed with her till the ambulance came.
Sebastian: Good man. Sebastian: How bad was it?
Lewis: Bad enough. Lewis: She was freezing. Could barely speak at first. Lewis: Stayed with her until paramedics got there. Lewis: She’ll need a proper checkup, but she was alive, breathing, conscious.
Sebastian: Poor girl. Sebastian: She’s always been... quiet, but good. Solid. Sebastian: Did Charles get there?
Lewis: No. Lewis: I told her i’d call him. Lewis: She begged me not to. Lewis: full panic. Lewis: like—not just “i don’t want to worry him”— Lewis: like "please don’t tell him"Like panicked.
Sebastian: Shit.
Lewis: Seb. Lewis: What the hell is going on between her and Charles?
Sebastian: It's... complicated.
Lewis: That’s not an answer.
Sebastian: It’s family stuff. Sebastian: Not my story to tell.
Lewis: I’m not asking for gossip. Lewis: I’m about to be in the garage with Charles next year. Lewis: I need to know if I’m walking into a minefield.
Sebastian: It’s not a minefield. Sebastian: It’s a slow bleed that no one ever stopped. Sebastian: The Leclerc family dynamic is... difficult. Sebastian: Charles loves her in his way. Sebastian: But he doesn’t see her. Never really has.
Lewis: How do you mean?
Sebastian: It’s not loud.Sebastian: Not shouting or fighting. Sebastian: It’s worse. Sebastian: It’s forgetting. Ignoring.Sebastian: Charles forgets she’s a person sometimes. Sebastian: Like she’s background noise. Takes her for granted.
Lewis: Jesus.
Sebastian: Look, Charles isn’t cruel on purpose. Sebastian: But he doesn’t see her properly. Sebastian: Hasn’t for a long time. Sebastian: Too caught up in being the golden boy. Sebastian: It’s easy for everyone to overlook someone who doesn’t scream for attention.
Lewis: She shouldn’t have to scream.
Sebastian: No. She shouldn’t. Sebastian: But that’s the Leclerc family for you.
Sebastian: Charles loves his sister. I don’t doubt that.
Sebastian: I tried telling him once…I don’t think he even understood what I meant, Lewis.
Sebastian: Charles isn’t cruel. He is a good guy in a lot of ways. He’s not malicious. But he’s blind.
Sebastian: And the people around him? His family? They expect Isabelle to just... carry everything. Be the good girl. Be grateful.
Sebastian: Isabelle grew up in a shadow she didn’t ask for. And no one ever pulled her out of it.
Lewis: That’s fucked up. Lewis: You should have told me sooner.
Sebastian: It wasn’t my story to tell. But now that you know... be kind to her, if you can. Sometimes being overlooked hurts more than being hated. (And she has some fantastic thoughts on Ecological architecture, if the topic ever comes up!)
Lewis: I will. Thanks, mate.
Sebastian: Anytime. Sebastian: And good luck at Ferrari. You’re going to need it.

Lewis didn’t usually make a habit of visiting hospitals.
Not if he could avoid it.
But after the night he’d had — witnessing Isabelle Leclerc’s accident firsthand, seeing her curled up in that crumpled car, bleeding and shocky — he hadn’t been able to shake the image.
He needed to make sure she was really okay.
Especially after she had all but begged him not to call Charles.
So here he was, walking through the polished halls of Princess Grace Hospital, a coffee in one hand and the quiet buzz of early morning filling the air.
The receptionist had waved him up to her room without hesitation.
“She’s in 433,” she said. “They moved her upstairs overnight for observation.”
Lewis headed for the elevator, heart pounding a little too fast.
He wasn’t family.
He wasn’t even a close friend.
But last night… he hadn’t been able to just walk away.
He pushed open the door to room 433, expecting to find Isabelle sleeping alone.
Maybe a nurse checking in.
Maybe Charles finally at her bedside.
Instead, Lewis froze halfway through the doorway.
Because slouched in the chair next to Isabelle’s bed — hoodie rumpled, hair a mess, legs awkwardly stretched out and still somehow managing to look like he belonged there — was Max Verstappen.
Lewis stared.
Max was half-asleep, head tipped back against the wall, Isabelle’s hand still clutched tightly in his.
Not loosely.
Not casually.
Like he couldn’t bear to let go.
And on the bed, Isabelle was curled toward him in her sleep, her fingers twisted into the fabric of his hoodie like she was holding onto a lifeline.
Lewis’s brain short-circuited for a second.
He hadn’t known what to expect — but it definitely hadn’t been this.
Max stirred slightly, blinking awake as Lewis stood there like an idiot in the doorway.
His eyes sharpened immediately, full of instinct and protectiveness.
“Morning,” Max said quietly, his voice rough from sleep.
Lewis cleared his throat. “Morning. I—uh—I didn’t mean to wake you.”
“You didn’t,” Max said simply, glancing down at Isabelle to make sure she was still asleep before looking back at Lewis. His thumb brushed lightly over her knuckles without thinking.
Lewis’s mind was racing.
Max Verstappen.
Max “I hate Monaco socializing” Verstappen.
Max “I don’t do drama” Verstappen.
Holding Isabelle Leclerc’s hand like she was the most precious thing in the world.
Lewis stepped further into the room, lowering his voice instinctively. “I didn’t know you two were…”
Max’s mouth twitched slightly. Not quite a smile. “Yeah. Not a lot of people do. Lando does.”
Lewis nodded slowly, the pieces starting to rearrange themselves in his mind.
The panic in Isabelle’s voice when she said don’t call Charles.
The protectiveness bleeding off Max in waves.
The way Isabelle’s whole body, even unconscious, leaned into him like it was instinct.
It made a kind of sense, now.
A messy, secret kind of sense.
“I was there last night,” Lewis said quietly. “At the crash.”
Max’s eyes sharpened even more, alert now. “You were?”
Lewis nodded. “I saw it happen. I called the ambulance. Stayed with her until they arrived.”
Something flickered across Max’s face — gratitude, raw and immediate.
“Thank you,” he said quietly, like the words cost him something. “For staying with her.”
Lewis shook his head. “You don’t need to thank me. She… she didn’t want me to call Charles.”
Max’s jaw flexed. He looked down at Isabelle again, the tension in his shoulders visible.
“I know,” Max said after a beat. “It’s… complicated.”
Lewis thought about asking. About pushing.
But one look at the way Max’s hand tightened protectively around hers, and he decided against it.
Not his business.
Not today.
Instead, Lewis set the coffee cup he’d brought down on the bedside table, careful not to make too much noise.
“For when she wakes up,” he said simply.
Max nodded once. “She’ll appreciate that.”
Lewis hesitated, then gave Max a small, understanding nod.
And for the first time, he realized —
Max wasn’t just dating Isabelle.
He was in it.
Fully. Completely.
No half-measures.
And maybe — maybe that was exactly what Isabelle needed.
“Take care of her,” Lewis said finally, meaning it.
Max looked up, his expression hard and certain. “Always.”
Lewis nodded once more and quietly slipped out of the room, leaving them to their small, private world.
And for the first time in a long time, Lewis smiled to himself.
Because against all odds —
Isabelle Leclerc had found someone who would never let her stand alone again.

Sebastian: Good.

Lewis: No.
Lewis: Max Verstappen was there.
Sebastian: ...what?
Lewis: Sitting in the chair next to her bed. Lewis: Holding her hand. Lewis: Full-on boyfriend mode.
Sebastian: Are you serious???
Lewis: Dead serious. It wasn’t casual. It wasn’t new either.
Sebastian: Holy shit.
Lewis: Yeah. Lewis: Suddenly a lot of things make sense.
Sebastian: Like her panic last night when you mentioned Charles.
Lewis: Exactly. Lewis: She didn’t want Charles finding out. Lewis: Probably doesn’t want any of them finding out yet.
Sebastian: Honestly? Sebastian: If anyone’s going to protect her, it’s Max. Sebastian: He doesn’t do anything halfway. Sebastian: And god help anyone who tries to mess with her now.
Lewis: Yeah.
Lewis: He actually thanked me for staying with her after the accident. Like he sounded actually sincere.
Sebastian: I think she finally found someone who sees her.
Sebastian: Not the Leclerc name. Sebastian: Just... her.
Lewis: Yeah. Lewis: Yeah, that’s what it looked like. Lewis: And honestly? I’m happy for her.
Sebastian: Me too. Sebastian: God, Charles is going to lose his mind.

Daniel: You're a legend, mate.
Lewis: There’s more. Lewis: When I said I was going to call Charles— Lewis: She begged me not to. Lewis: Like, full-on panic.
Daniel: ... That tracks tbh.
Carlos: Yeah. It’s complicated.
Lewis: This morning I went to check on her. Lewis: And Max was there. Lewis: Sleeping next to her. Lewis: Holding her hand like he was afraid to let go.
Lando: max literally acts like a disney prince around belle
Lando: hand-holding and everything. Lewis: how long has this been going on??
Lando: ages.
Oscar: Since like March.
Lewis: does Charles know?
Daniel: ...............no.
Oscar: dear god no
Carlos: If Charles finds out there will be a war.
Lewis: You guys have been covering for them????
Daniel: YES. AND WE’RE DOING AMAZINGLY Daniel: (except for the part where we’re all gonna die when charles finds out)
Lando: new plan: Lando: if charles finds out Lando: we blame max.
Daniel: and also maybe… pretend we just found out too.
Daniel: Max can protect himself anyway Daniel: He’s built like a house and has no survival instincts around belle
Lewis: Honestly after what i saw last night he’s never letting her out of his sight again
Lando: cute but terrifying
Oscar: love that for her tbh

BBF ELLIE PLS W SMUT? 🤗🤗

best friend!ellie x reader nsfw mdni
cw: possessive ellie, reader got out of the relationship so it's not cheating, fingering
Ellie and you are best friends, been so since middle school. She used to scare off the kids that tried to mess with you. She used to scare off the jocks that tried to hit on you. Now, she scares off anyone who tries to get in your pants at the club.
Somehow, regardless of her being so protective and possessive of you, you happened to get a boyfriend. He was...good you'd say, you didn't have any prior experiences to compare your relationship with. But you did assume it would be something more than you had expected. He was the first ever person who confessed to you and you being the hopeless romantic you are, you said yes. He treated you well, never tried to pry into your life, was somewhat respectful; he really shouldn't have called your old cat "almost expired", and never asked you to join his occult group meetings, thank goodness for that. And then there was the sex... He was sloppy, but not in the good way. Most of the time, it's just him rubbing on you with the poor attempt to playing with your clit. Thinking about it sent shivers down your spine, it was terrible. You guys have broken up a few days ago, he initiated, stating that he and his group tried to do some weird ass paranormal activity and that it would have an effect on their relationships or some bullshit and he can't risk your life or whatever. You needed to get out of the relationship anyways, he just gave a reason to do so albeit a dumb one. But jeez you spent too much time in that relationship.
Ellie didn't know that nerd from the other class would be a threat. She noticed him around you, staring at you with... something in his eyes, it's hard to say when he had huge glasses on. But she assumed he wouldn't have the guts to come and confess to you. Besides there were bigger threats surrounding you than him, she can't waste her time on that scrawny dude. But oh boy, was she proven wrong. She was almost about to break that boy's nose but then, she heard you say yes.
"Seriously? That guy? Come on now."
"I just want to give it a try, I've never done this before. Besides if anything goes wrong I have you, no?"
Her heart did a flip but she put that aside.
"He looks like he has tentacle porn on his hard drive!"
She wasn't wrong, you did find questionable stuff on his computer when you were looking for some photos. But you brushed that off, you weren't supposed to see it anyways, bringing it up would mean he'd know you were snooping around in his computer.
Ellie hated when he would put his hands around your waist and boast about how beautiful you are.
He didn't even know how to get you off, the fuck is he boasting about?
Ellie hated when you laid on her lap and told her how you didn't feel any sparks around him anymore, if you ever even had the spark with him. She hated that he was the one who was able to wake up next you and not her. She hated the fact he had the right to call you "girlfriend" and not her. She hated the fact that he had the chance to see you naked before her. She tried to keep those limp dicks away from you almost her entire life and somehow, you ended up with the worst of them all. So when you knocked on her door that day and said that you got dumped, she felt a weight off her shoulder- wait did you say he dumped you?
He?
Dumped you?
Over what?
"I spent months even years over him, thinking maybe I help him grow into his full potential. But all these years and he still wasn't even able to please me! What was I even thinking?"
Ellie wanted to ask you the same thing, what were you thinking dating him and not her? What were you expecting from dating someone she definitely didn't approve of? Why did you allow someone else who was not her to even live with you? To see you all day every day? To eat in the same table as you? To sleep in the bed as you? To have you under them?
Poor you never even had a proper orgasm before.
So when she hovered over you with her face few inches away from you, you whimpered at the proximity.
"Shush just let me make you feel like the goddess you are."
You were a gasping mess when she was thrusting her fingers into you. She peppered kisses all over you, your face, your neck, your tits. Gosh the sound you made when her lips brushed over your hardened nipples. You wrapped your hands around her, with your palms digging into her shoulder.
"E-ellie- t-too much-"
"You can take it, I know you can princess."
Fuck you've not felt this way in a long time, and you don't want it to end. You've been deprived for far too long. And it definitely seemed like Ellie really loved your fucked out face, with the way she kept grunting and speeding at every moan you let out. You weren't stupid to let go of the opportunity of allowing Ellie to fuck you stupid.
While you chased your orgasm, Ellie nuzzled her nose at the crook of your neck and peppered kisses all over it. Her fingers still moving to help you get over your high.
"Took you way too long, didn't it?"
Ellie's eyes went wide open.

─── YOU'VE GOT MAIL .ᐟ

...or reader going to a football game.
★ pairing.ᐟ frat!rafe x nerd!reader
★ summary.ᐟ rafe cameron is the golden boy of kildare university; certified frat boy, captain of the football team, relentless party animal with lines of girls to sleep with.
reader couldn't be more different; while she has the best grades in the whole school, she suffers from social anxiety disorder, and her social life is limited to her three best friends and the cat she secretly snuck into her dorm room.
both of them decide to join the anonymous chatroom for their campus, and start talking to one another, a friendship starting to form between the two; but neither of them know how different the other is.
★ author's note.ᐟ and we’re back!! hi hi hi. sorry for no new part last week, i was busy as hell. ANYWAY we’re finally meeting reader’s friends !! also guess who managed to finish three different fics today… whew.
YOU'VE GOT MAIL!
for the next two weeks, not a day went by that you didn't talk to MalachiConstant; the screen time on your phone almost having doubled. most of the time it was just surface-level stuff; talking about your days, about your interests... but at night, it... changed. it became genuine. real. like you were sitting under the stars together, talking about things that actually mattered.
MalachiConstant: y'know MalachiConstant: sometimes i kinda worry that i'm disappointing everyone around me
YOU: how come?
MalachiConstant: idk MalachiConstant: i feel like i'm fucking shit up all the time MalachiConstant: like i'm a screw up and disappoint everyone
YOU: well, i don't know if it helps, but.. YOU: you haven't disappointed me :).
MalachiConstant: knocking on wood
now, you were sitting with your friends at lunch, occasionally glancing down at your phone screen as if beckoning for the stranger to message you, your lips pursed in thought as the group around you kept chatting, wondering why the boy hadn't texted you all day.
"hey, everything okay?" one of your friends, zainab, asked, looking at you with widened eyes, startling you out of your little reverie. you turned to the girl sitting next to you, feigning a small smile, "yeah, everything's okay."
"she's being ghoooosteed." vivian teased you, causing you to roll your eyes.
"ghosted? by who?" emilia asked with excitement, vivian's statement clearly having piqued both her and zainab's interest.
"it's no one."
"she's lying." vivian grinned, drinking some of her iced latte, "she met someone on that website i recommended. kildareuchats. she told me they've been talking for a few weeks now."
"viv, i told you not to say anything." you groaned, hiding your face in your hand, feeling your cheeks warming up, your next words coming out in an awkward mutter, "only reason i told you was because you saw me text him in the first place..."
"whatever. the important thing is," vivian grinned widely, "our friend here thinks that he's a member of the football team."
"how do you figure that?" zainab asked, and you threw your hands up in slight frustration, "well, i don't know it for sure!" you said, "but he keeps talking about how he has practice, and... he does know a lot about football."
"hot. you're e-dating a football player. who would've thought?" emilia snorted, making you throw a singular fry her way. "i'm pretty sure they have a game tonight."
"oooh, we should go support your boyfriend." zainab squeezed your shoulder and you could feel your face turn warm with embarrassment, "we're not going. and he's not my boyfriend..."
"i can't believe i let you three talk me into this..." you grumbled under your breath, pulling your coat closer to your body, feeling the chilly autumn air in your bones as you sat on the bleachers, watching the game you understood nothing about; when you were younger, your father tried to get you into sports, but most of the time you simply snuck in a book so you wouldn't actually have to focus on it.
"don't try to play pretend." vivian nudged your shoulder and drank out of her slushie, "we all know you're dying to see your cyber-boyfriend."
"again, he's not my boyfriend."
"but you wish he was. bet you've already made him in the sims, and you two have a brood of pixel-kids."
"i don't even know what he looks like."
"well, if it is someone from the football team, he's gotta be at least semi-attractive. have you seen their group picture?" emilia snorted, "everyone is somewhere between seven and ten."
"it's definitely not thornton." vivian snorted, "dude has the emotional capacity of a slinky."
"viv, you do know that that's a dig on yourself?" you raised your brows, "don't think any of us forgot what happened between you two."
"jokes on you." the pink-haired girl stuck her tongue out at you, "i've already forgotten all about it."
"that's what happens when you spike your slushie with vodka."
"don't act like you could focus on this shit sober. besides, this is not about who i've slept with. this is about who you're dying to sleep with." vivian winked and took another sip of her slushie.
"well," you pursed your lips in thought, "he's in a fraternity."'
"that does narrow it a little bit..." zainab mumbled, "maybe maybank? i mean, you did have a crush on him for like, the entirety of freshman year."
"it wasn't a crush!" you held your hands up, "it was... a mere fascination. he had nice hair."
"ah, yes. you were having wet dreams about his hair." vivian snorted, and you smacked her forearm, pursing your lips into a pout as you looked at the field, "how about... mason? he's got that whole broody, mysterious smart guy vibe going for him. he definitely reads vonnegut."
"dodge is a pretty valid option. though, i don't know if chatrooms are his style." emilia tsked, "what about the captain? cameron?"
that suggestion caused vivian to snort and smack the other girl's shoulder, "rafe cameron? yeah, he definitely isn't the type to do that. i think his longest relationship was when a girl accidentally fell asleep in his bed after they hooked up, and he was too drunk to kick her out."
your eyes went to number 9, the name 'cameron' written above his number, making you shake your head and look away before you spoke quietly, "this is stupid. i don't need to know who he is. i don't want to know who he is." vivian wrapped her arm around your shoulder, tugging you close in a comforting gesture; you knew there was truth to your words, but you also knew that the reason you didn't want to know the identity of MalachiConstant was that you knew he'd be disappointed to know who you truly are. to know, that the girl he'd called witty and funny several times actually couldn't tell a joke without stuttering.
after the football game ended with your team winning, the four of you were making your way away from the field, only to hear someone calling out behind you
"viv! vivian, wait up!"
you turned your head to look at who was so eager to talk to your friend, a small snort leaving your lips, nudging vivian's side, "viv, it's your slinky." your friend looked at you with furrowed brows, following your line of sight to topper, the girl letting out an exasperated groan, "is it too late to hide?"
"hey, viv." topper gave the girl a lopsided grin that he surely thought was charming, his face slightly red from the game, "you came."
"most of the school came." vivian gave the boy a narrow, feigned smile before taking another slurp out of her slushie, "whatcha want, thornton?"
"well," the blonde scratched the back of his head while emilia, zainab and you grinned at one another, a strange contrast to the unamused expression on the pink-haired girl's face, "we're having a party, at our frat house. you should come if you feel like it."
"i'll think about it."
"you can bring your friends." topper glanced at the three of you briefly before his focus was fully on vivian once again, "hope to see you there."
"maybe." vivian said, turning around and continuing to walk away, the three of you following behind her, trying your best to control your laughter, "don't say a thing." she warned.
"come on, you've gotta come with me." vivian pouted, spinning around in your office chair, "i can't go alone, z doesn't do parties and em has an essay to finish."
"you know i don't do parties either." you mumbled, absentmindedly stroking angel's soft fur while shopping online for a birthday gift for vivian, "i think i'd suffer a stroke if i even tried to go to a frat party, of all things."
"please! i can't go alone, because then i'll end up hooking up with topper again."
"then just don't go."
"but then i'll have fomo! you know i love parties, i live for-"
YOU HAVE RECEIVED A MESSAGE ON KILDAREUCHATS FROM MalachiConstant. CLICK HERE TO OPEN.
you tuned out everything vivian was saying, instantly clicking the pop-up.
MalachiConstant: whatcha up to?
YOU: nothing much. YOU: trying to stop this annoying wasp from buzzing in my ear
MalachiConstant: a... wasp?
YOU: my friend. YOU: she's trying to get me to go to a party with her. YOU: it's essentially a babysitting gig, though.
MalachiConstant: one party won't hurt you MalachiConstant: wallflower
YOU: how do you know? YOU: what if i have a stroke the moment i step foot into that place?
MalachiConstant: c'mon MalachiConstant: what do you have to lose?
YOU: my dignity.
MalachiConstant: ah, yes. the dignified grandma. MalachiConstant: hey, if the party sucks you can just stand in some corner and send me messages MalachiConstant: might not answer immediately cause i also have a party
YOU: oooh, another frat party?
MalachiConstant: you know me so well MalachiConstant: i dare you to go, poe girl
YOU: this isn't elementary school.
MalachiConstant: i triple-dog dare you
you pursed your lips in thought, looking to vivian and narrowing your eyes at the girl, a pleading look on her face. you groaned, shaking your head in defeat and rolling your eyes, "fine, i'll come with you. but i have nothing to wear."
"don't worry." vivian jumped up from her seat with a victorious smile, ruffling your hair, "you're lucky i'm your fairy slut-mother. with piles and piles of slutty dresses and skirts. i'll go get us something to wear!"
you watched as the girl made her way out of your dorm, her long hair bouncing along with her "nothing too slutty!" you called out after her, before turning back to your computer.
YOU: if i die, i'm blaming you.

wc: 6.5k
warning(s): major character death; not shown but hangs over the whole fic. angst made angstier by fluffy flashbacks. mostly told through percy’s pov but includes luke, annabeth, and reader povs
also if you saw this before on another account DONT WORRY... that account was also me. im just doing some stuff behind the scenes right now as i figure stuff out lol i promise no plagiarism is going on
Percy thought that his head might explode.
He didn’t know how he was still walking, honestly. His mom died, he killed a— no, the— Minotaur, all the Greek myths were real and his dad was one of them, and now he had to deal with that freak accident with Clarisse and the toilets.
At least he would be ready next time she tried to beat him up. Percy had been the new kid enough to know there would be a next time.
All he could do was stare at the Minotaur horn in his hands, the only sign that what happened outside the border was real. The horn in his hands and the hole in his heart.
Percy swallowed the lump in his throat. He’d been thrown into the deep end, and the only thing on his mind was when he would start to drown.
“Hey.” Percy looked up to see the counselor he’d met earlier with Annabeth—Luke. He tossed a ziploc bag at him and he caught it, taking a moment to look at what was in it.
“I stole you some toiletries from the camp store,” he explained. “Thought it might make you feel more at home.”
“…Thanks.” He didn’t know if Luke was joking, but the damage had already been done. And it was the nicest thing someone had done for him so far. He set it down next to his Minotaur shoebox. “Is this the best that it gets?”
Luke’s lips quirked up in a slight smile. “For now. We’re a little crowded, if you couldn’t tell.”
“Just a little bit.” Percy stood up from his sleeping bag and worked out the knot in his shoulder. “Where’s your bed? Assuming you have one.”
“I couldn’t wrangle all these cats without some back support,” he said, and he pointed to a bed in the corner. It was the only one on its own without a bunk, and he had a fair amount of decorations. Counselor privileges, he figured. Percy walked over, Luke trailing behind him.
“Nice place,” he said. Percy picked up the Yankee’s cap on his bedside table and nodded as he looked back at him. “Nice taste.”
“It’s for Annabeth,” Luke said. “She wanted us to match.”
Percy nodded again in approval. “Good taste for both of you.”
Luke had various other things around — an alarm clock knocked over next to the baseball cap, a huskie sticker on the wall half-scraped off, a poster for an album he didn’t recognize.
But the thing that caught his eye was a polaroid hanging on the wall, surrounded by a smattering of others varying in size.
The first one had to be an old picture—Luke didn’t have his scar, and the biggest smile stretched across his face. He had a girl close with an arm slung around her waist, and she might’ve been smiling even more than Luke. A bright energy emanated around her, something that must have transferred through the picture, because Percy found himself feeling a little better just looking at her. He wondered if she was a camper.
His eyes flicked to the next picture, which was another one of Luke and that girl. They were both laughing as she tried to put a blue hat on Luke’s head, and he protested with a hand on her wrist. They were in the forefront of a baseball game, Percy noticed.
There were other pictures, too—Luke, a girl dressed all punk, and what looked like a young version of Annabeth, most notably—but a majority of them were either Luke and that girl, or the girl all on her own. In every single one, she beamed brighter than the sun.
Percy pointed at the picture of Luke and the girl at the baseball game, his curiosity getting the better of him. “Who’s that?”
That seemed to catch Luke off-guard, his lips parting for a moment as if he wanted to say something. It barely took him any time to get back on track, but Percy found himself frowning.
“That’s…” Luke cleared his throat, wet his lips, shook his head. “A friend. A very good friend.”
“Does she go here?” Percy asked.
“She did.”
He frowned. “Where is she, then?”
“Percy—” Luke’s voice was strained, but he didn’t really notice as he went on.
“I didn’t see her around,” he continued, “and you look pretty close.”
Luke blinked a couple times, and Percy swore he could see the telltale glimmer of tears starting in his eyes. A muscle worked in his jaw, and suddenly Percy was worried that he’d said something horribly wrong. He had a talent for that, it seemed.
Fortunately, he was saved by the bell—conch shell?—and something like relief flooded through Luke’s expression. Tension still coiled in his body.
“Come on,” he said, that camp counselor smile coming back as he put his hand on Percy’s shoulder and guided him away from the enclave. “That means dinner’s about to start.”
Percy’s frown deepened as curiosity won out again. “Was she your—”
“You don’t wanna be late,” Luke continued, ignoring his attempt. “I assume you’re pretty hungry after two days spent out?”
Well, that only made him want to push harder. But Percy figured he wouldn’t get anything out of him—especially not now.
“…Yeah,” Percy said. “Starving.”
An odd look flickered across his face, but again, it only lasted for a second before he was back to normal. He cupped his hands around his mouth and yelled, “Eleven! Fall in!”
Percy was at the back of the line by virtue of him being the new kid, and he found himself looking back at that picture of Luke and the girl. He didn’t know why, but something drew him to her. Before Percy could think about it more, the line was moving and his growling stomach drew his attention away.
He would have plenty of time to ask Luke about it later.
Or rather, ask him and piss off the only person who’d tried to be his friend so far.
…Gods.
Maybe he was going to drown sooner than he thought.
-
“Luke—”
“No!”
“Luke, please!”
“Annabeth will kill me if she knows—”
“She won’t know!”
“Alright, alright— stay still, you two!”
Your mother laughed from behind the camera as you and Luke fought with each other, you trying your damnedest to get your Red Sox cap on his head as he tried his damnedest to stop you. The frantic laughter on both sides made it a little difficult for either of you to succeed in your quest, but eventually, you got the rock up the hill and the hat on his head.
“Take the picture, Mom!” you exclaimed, pulling Luke even closer by his arms so he couldn’t get it off. “I need the proof!”
“I knew this was a bad idea,” Luke groaned, staring at the camera as you wrapped your arm around his side and leaned into him. He could already imagine your victorious smile, brighter than the sun beating down on them in the stadium, and just the thought of it made one of his own flit across his lips.
“Oh, shut up, Castellan,” you said. “You chose to come to this game. Everyone’s gonna know you’re a Red Sox fan now.”
“You said you wouldn’t tell her!” Luke defended, wrenching his arms free of your control to take the hat off his head. “I don’t even care about baseball!”
“You care so much about it,” you said cloyingly, “and you’re ride or die for the Boston Red Sox.”
“If you say a single word—”
“Okay, kids!” Your mother pointed at the seats next to her. “The game’s about to start—you can keep arguing, but only if you sit down so I can see.”
“Sorry, Mom.” You grinned at her as you pulled Luke over to your seats—they were a step up from nosebleeds, but they were the ones closest to the balcony so you could at least peer over the railing down to the diamond.
“It’s alright, sweetheart.” She glanced at Luke with a smile, and he could really see where you got it from. “We’ve gotta make him a fan somehow.”
“I guess I can live with the brand.” Luke set the cap back on your head once you were seated, purposefully pulling the brim a little over your eyes, and he smiled at you. “Even though it looks better on you, anyways.”
“You just don’t have what it takes to be a Red Sox fan in the heart of Yank territory,” you mused, pushing the hat back up so you could see. “It’s fine.”
Luke rolled his eyes, but he could hardly bite back his smile.
“I am glad you came, though,” you said, glancing back at him. “I’m glad you came with me in the first place. This is gonna be the best semester.”
“Thanks for having me,” Luke said. “It’s… it’s been a while since I’ve left camp.”
“Fingers crossed for no monster attacks, eh?” You held up your hand. “At least, not during the game. I could live with it happening any other time.”
“Don’t speak it into existence,” your mom said. “We’re going to have a monster-free school year.”
To humor her, you made a claw over your heart and pushed out. She hummed in satisfaction, and you looked over at Luke. “It’s gonna be fine.”
“Yeah,” he said. “Because two kids like us aren’t gonna draw any attention.”
“Oh, I know we will,” you said. “But I know it’ll be fine.”
Luke frowned. “How can you be so sure?”
You shrugged with a smile. “I’ve got you.”
And in that moment, he was thankful for the freakish heat that honestly made no sense in the spring—at least it covered up any sign of what your words did to him.
Luke thought you were joking when you asked him if he wanted to come back home with you for the school year. He didn’t know why you wanted to go back in the first place, being a Big Three kid that apparently had a death wish, but the thought of him leaving camp was almost inconceivable.
Even after you assured him you weren’t joking, he still wasn’t sure. He was on the run with you for three years, then…
Well, he couldn’t think about it for too long. But Luke had been on the outskirts of regular society for so long, doing nothing but fighting for his life, that he didn’t know if he could actually function at a normal school.
But it felt right for you two to get some normal time together after you were separated for so long. It took him a semester to decide, but one day during your usual Iris message conversations, he told you he’d love to spend the rest of the year in Boston with you. Luke still remembered the grin you wore, your disbelieving but victorious cheers, the apology you yelled back at your mother for your noise.
Luke watched you as you talked with your mom, discussing Boston’s chances and player statistics and baseball jargon he didn’t think he’d ever understand, and he knew he would sit through a thousand Red Sox games if it meant he would get to keep seeing your smile.
You must have felt his eyes on you, because you glanced over at him. “Are you okay?”
Luke smiled. Gods, he was so glad you were here.
“Never better.”
-
“That one nearly got me,” Luke said.
Percy huffed as he picked up his sword from the ground—he was pretty sure he would officially lose his mind if Luke disarmed him with that stupid move one more time. One benefit to the Hermes cabin being too scared to associate with him after getting claimed was that he wasn’t making a fool out of himself in front of other people.
“Maybe I can only beat you when I pour water on myself,” he said.
Luke chuckled as he took a bottle from the cooler on the side and held it up. “Wanna try?”
He shook his head. “I think my arms will fall off if I keep going with you.”
He tipped his shoulder. “Fair.”
Percy stared at the ground as Luke gathered himself, trying to put the free range thoughts roaming around his head in order. It didn’t help that he’d gained a million questions after Poseidon claimed him, and it didn’t help that there’s been a newest addition to his dream last night.
He still felt strange asking Luke about it, but he had to know more about her. Percy didn’t know why it felt like his mission to find out who this mysterious girl was, or why he felt that strange connection to her. Maybe it was the way Luke acted whenever he brought her up, maybe it was that she’d popped up in his dream next to him at the very end, maybe it was just plain old curiosity.
“I’m not supposed to be alive,” Percy said, breaking the silence. “I could die at any time in a bunch of different horrible ways. So will you tell me more about that girl on your wall?”
Again, Luke seemed to be caught off guard by it. Percy heard the crunch of plastic as his hand clenched ever so slightly around the bottle, and he tried to cover it up with an arched eyebrow. “Why do you want to know so badly?”
He shrugged. What was he supposed to say?
“I’m curious,” he decided.
Luke huffed a dry laugh before he took a sip of water, and he stared off into the distance for a while. He did a lot of staring whenever this girl was brought up. They looked like they were best friends in those pictures, but maybe whatever they had ended badly. And if she was a demigod too…
Well, it would make sense why he didn’t want to talk about her.
“You know that phrase about curiosity?” Luke asked.
“And how it killed the cat?”
He nodded, drinking some more. “It goes double for demigods.”
“Everything else wants to kill me,” Percy said. “So curiosity’s gonna have to get in line.”
Luke’s laugh was a little more genuine this time, and he shook his head. “I guess I can tell you a little about her. You actually probably have a right to know.”
“Is she a half-blood?” Percy asked immediately.
He nodded. “Yeah.”
“Who’s her parent?”
Luke capped his water bottle and looked at Percy for a good, long moment. His face glowed in the warm afternoon sun, his scar cast in a softer light than usual. The scar used to unnerve him, but he’d gotten used to it after weeks staring at it during sword fighting.
“She was a child of Poseidon, Percy,” he said. “Just like you.”
Percy felt short of breath, like Luke had just knocked his sword out of his hand and shoved him to the ground. But he stood on his own two legs that somehow still worked, and Luke hadn’t moved.
He had a sister?
“I have a sister?”
“…Had,” Luke corrected. “She… she died a few years back.”
A vice latched onto Percy’s heart. He was still having a hard time breathing. No wonder Luke always used past tense when he was talking about her.
He had a sister, he wasn’t alone, but he was because she was dead. And if Luke was one of her friends, that meant she died young.
Gods.
“What about their oath?” Percy asked, trying to ignore the aching in his chest. “I’m already on thin ice for my whole existing thing. How did Poseidon get away with two kids so close to each other?”
Luke shrugged. “I’ve never known why gods do things. Her mother was a great woman, though—I could see what drew Poseidon to her against the oath.”
One half of Percy wanted to ask every question that kept popping into his head. The other side of him wanted to break down and cry.
“How did you meet her?”
“We ran into each other when we were both young,” he said. “Both child runaways, both demigods, both New Englanders—we decided to rough it out on the road together. Couldn’t be any worse than doing it on our own.”
Percy tried to imagine it. A young Luke and a younger version of that girl—maybe Percy’s age—living together in the wilderness and fighting monsters. Surviving off of nothing but their wit and skill, facing death each day before they’d even reached middle school.
“It… it didn’t happen then, did it?” he asked hesitantly.
Luke shook his head. “Couple years later. All we did was watch each other’s backs out there.”
Percy couldn’t help himself. “What happened to her?”
“The same thing that happens to everyone,” Luke said flatly. “There’s a reason I’m the oldest one here.”
“That doesn’t make it better,” Percy insisted. “It— it makes it worse, Luke. You see that, right?”
Luke stared at his empty water bottle then tossed it back into the cooler. When his gaze met Percy’s, he was shocked by how… tired he looked. Beyond exhausted—bone-weary. Percy wanted to say more, but he didn’t get the chance.
“This isn’t good conversation,” Luke said, “and it’s getting late. You should hit the showers before dinner.”
The sun still beat down on them, bright and angry in the sky, but Percy provided no argument. He had a lot to think about.
Before they went their separate ways, Percy stopped and looked back at him. “I’m sorry she’s gone, Luke.”
Luke’s gaze went unfocused for a moment, his eyes growing glossy. “So am I.”
-
Percy sat on the floor of the Hermes cabin in the corner that used to be his, staring at his meager belongings. He had to decide what to take on his quest, which was made easier by the fact that he hardly had anything to his name. Things could always be worse, though. At least he would have a change of clothes.
He should’ve been doing this in his own cabin, but it felt too empty, too suffocating in its silence. Eleven was still more familiar. He heard the door open and saw Luke walk in, and his eyes lit up when he saw Percy.
“Hey,” he said. “I wanted to see you before you left. How’re you feeling pre-quest?”
“Like the world’s about to end,” he said.
Luke’s lips twitched into a smile as he sat on the bed across from Percy. “Understandable. It kinda is.”
“It’s just overwhelming.” Percy shoved the unfolded clothes into his backpack. “I have to clear mine and my dad’s names and get Zeus’s bolt back, or else war will start. No pressure at all.”
“You were chosen for a reason,” Luke said. “You may not see it, Percy, but you’ve improved a lot since you got here. If anyone can do this, I think it’s you.”
Percy looked up at him, and he was reminded of the way their last conversation went. He was asking before he could really stop himself.
“I could die on this quest and never see you again,” Percy said. “So could you tell me more about my sister before I go?”
Luke smiled wistfully and sighed. “You really won’t let this go, will you?”
“It’s not really something you just let go,” he said. “Besides, I… I saw her in my dream last night.”
Luke’s smile faded. “You did?”
Percy nodded. “For a split second, but I know it was her. I felt the same way I did whenever I looked at her pictures. And… it’s the second time she’s shown up.”
He let out a long sigh and shook his head, his gaze trailing off to the wall. He always looked so much older when he talked about this girl, like he was a war veteran reminiscing on his lost love. And from what he’d gathered, it might not have been too far off.
“I told you we ran together when we were young,” he said, and Percy nodded. “We were both nine, and it should’ve been terrible, but she had a way of making everything better. Always found the bright side of things, was always able to make me laugh.”
“She was from Massachusetts—right in the middle of Boston.” Luke chuckled as he looked at Percy. “Huge Red Sox fan.”
Percy grimaced. “We all make mistakes.”
Luke smiled, though it faded a bit. “We got separated for a while, but we found each other again when I got to camp. Things were more peaceful than they are now, so she’d been claimed at camp pretty quickly. I figure Poseidon wanted her to have the protection of him openly standing behind her after what happened.”
He frowned. “What do you mean, ‘what happened’?”
Luke shook his head. “That would be an awful story to send you off on.”
Percy wanted to protest, but he didn’t. Luke was probably right—Percy didn’t want to make him relive it and then have to go on a death quest right after.
“A happier part, then,” he suggested.
“She ran away from home as a kid to protect her mom, but now that she had an idea of what she was doing, she started going back to school. She invited me to stay with her during the school year one year, and I accepted. That—” Luke’s throat bobbed, and the other hand clenched into a fist— “that was when she died.”
In his stunned silence, Luke got up and went over to his alcove. He pulled the drawer open on his bedside table and pulled out a neatly folded piece of paper. It must’ve been folded and crumpled a million other times in messier ways by all the creases he could see, but when Luke opened it, he could see handwriting all over the front.
A letter.
“We Iris messaged each other constantly while she was at school,” he said, “and we wrote back and forth when we couldn’t. This was the last letter she sent me.”
Percy’s first instinct was to say he wouldn’t be able to read it, but he realized that he didn’t really care. These were words that his sister wrote—he would sit here the rest of the day forcing sentences to make sense if that was what it took.
So he took the letter when Luke offered it.
To the one and only Luke Castellan,
My mom said yes! After a very long interrogation (she now knows basically everything about you) and a million promises that you would be as careful as possible and that you were good enough at sword fighting to take down anything that could come after us, she said you can spend the year here. We spent a couple hours every day making my mom’s study into a guest room, so you have a place to stay.
I’m an idiot that didn’t bring enough drachmas so that’s why I have to send this letter—hopefully it gets to you soon enough, because we’re gonna come get you a week before my winter break is over. Mom is letting me drive down because she says I have to get my permit soon. It makes sense that my first big test is getting to you. If we don’t make it, it’s because we died in a fiery crash.
Just kidding. I’m a great driver. But tell me some of your favorite songs when you reply and I’ll burn a CD for the ride—I figured out how to use LimeWire. Oh, and throw in a couple drachmas with the envelope so I can Iris message you next time. I miss your face and your voice, and my hand is cramping up writing all of this.
But this is so exciting! I can’t wait to introduce you to all my friends at school, and show you my favorite places in the city, and make you into a Red Sox fan. And you can come to my soccer games— I’m the greatest forward there is.
Jokes aside, I’m going to make sure you have the best time. We’ll spend every second together, Luke. We’re gonna make up for the time we lost.
I can’t wait to see you again.
Your hurricane.
It took Percy a long time to get through it with the words swimming all over, and it didn’t help that his vision had grown blurry.
Tears, he realized as he blinked, and he did it again to make sure they wouldn’t fall. He couldn’t cry in front of Luke, not over a girl he didn’t even know—even if she was his sister. But maybe he was grieving that—the fact that he would never get to know her.
“God, man. I— I’m sorry.” Percy couldn’t think of anything else to say. “She sounds like she was great.”
Luke couldn’t even manage a smile this time as he stared at the wall. Percy was surprised he could even talk to him about it.
“She was,” he murmured. “You would’ve liked her. And gods,” this time, a bit of a smile broke through despite it all, “she would have loved a little brother.”
“I’m gonna make her proud on this quest,” Percy vowed. “I’m gonna clear our dad’s name for her.”
Something in Luke’s gaze had changed—sadness, almost regret. “You’re a good kid, Percy. I hope your quest doesn’t change that.”
I hope I come back alive, he wanted to say. But given the topic matter, he didn’t. Percy carefully folded the letter back up and handed it to Luke.
“Thank you for telling me about her, man,” Percy said. “I… I know it can’t be easy.”
Luke let out a shuddering breath as he stared at the closed letter—Percy wondered how many times he must have sat in this same position, reading her words. “No better way to honor her memory than helping her brother.” He glanced at Percy. “I see a lot of her in you.”
He’d been wondering if he had anything in common with her. Percy felt a sudden flare of anger shoot through him—it wasn’t fair that she was dead. Poseidon was a god, and she was a teenager. He should have saved her.
Percy’s mouth was drier than a desert. A part of him wanted to curl up in a ball and sob over the sister he never got the chance to know, but the other part of him knew—from what little Luke had told him about her—that she wouldn’t want him to.
“I should get going,” Percy said, standing up from the floor. “We have to leave for the quest soon, and Annabeth and Grover are probably wondering where I am, and…”
Percy trailed off, and Luke nodded in understanding. He turned around and took one of the photos off the wall—one of you alone in the middle of a park, wearing a bucket hat and absolutely beaming.
“You deserve to have a part of her with you,” he said. “For good luck.”
He felt himself choking up, and he pushed it down as he accepted the photo. “Thanks, man. It means a lot.”
“Good luck, Percy,” Luke said. “You’ve got a lot of people rooting for you.”
Percy found himself studying the picture of you once he made it outside, trying to memorize your face. With your wide, infectious smile that emanated pure sunlight, he could have mistaken you for an Apollo kid. But when he looked at you, he got that same warmth that he felt every time he imagined his father.
“I won’t let you down,” he murmured. “I promise.”
-
After sleeping in his train seat for half the day, Percy vowed to never complain about his bed in Cabin Three again. He was gonna be going down to the Underworld with permanent cricks in his neck.
Grover was still sound asleep—Percy envied him for how easily it came to him in the worst conditions—but thankfully, Annabeth wasn’t. Her gaze was focused on the view as their train chugged along.
Percy cleared his throat in a flawless attempt at getting her attention, and it worked.
“You’re awake,” she said.
“Unfortunately.” Percy sighed. “How much longer do you think it’ll be?”
“Another day, at least,” she said. “And we’ve got a layover in St. Louis.”
“St. Louis,” he hummed. “Nice.”
They sat in silence for a while—there wasn’t much to talk about when they were coming off of two— or was it three, now?—near-death experiences. But eventually, Annabeth cleared her throat, taking a page from his book, and it worked again.
“There— there’s probably something you should know,” Annabeth said, and that worked even better than clearing her throat. “You’re not the only Big Three kid to come through Camp Half-blood lately.”
“I know,” he said. “Grover and Luke explained it.”
Her eyes widened slightly and she leaned forward in her seat. “Luke did?”
“…Yeah. You all already told me about Thalia.” Percy glanced away, suddenly feeling a chill in the train car. “Luke told me about my sister.”
Annabeth went silent.
“It’s okay,” he said. “I kind of annoyed Luke until he told me. Doesn’t really seem like a subject people at camp like to talk about.”
“I’m just surprised he did,” she murmured. “They were… they were close, Percy. Her death destroyed him—Thalia and your sister. All of it’s complicated.”
“Yeah,” he sighed, “I got some of that.”
“I only knew her for a year at camp, but everyone loved her,” she said. “She was nice. Popular. Always helped when she could, always had the biggest, most infectious smile on her face.” Annabeth looked down at her hands. “She didn’t deserve the fate she got.”
Percy didn’t think he’d ever grieved so much for someone he never knew. “But her and Luke—were they…?”
“Yeah,” Annabeth said, “they were a thing, later on.”
That seemed to be all she wanted to say on the matter. Percy decided not to push.
“How did you meet her?” he asked.
Annabeth’s lips pressed into a thin line. “I met her on the day I thought I would die.”
-
For the first time in her life, Annabeth Chase couldn’t think.
It had all happened so fast. One second she was running with Luke and Thalia and Grover, praying to her mother and any other gods that would listen to make the horde of monsters let up even a centimeter.
The next, she’d collapsed on the ground, never so grateful to have grass and dirt and dust in her face. But she could hear Luke yelling, barely able to make it out in her delirious state—she didn’t know when she’d last had a sip of water, and they’d been running for at least three miles—but he sounded hysterical.
She remembered her last clear thought: they weren’t going to make it.
But they had. They had, so why was Luke losing his mind?
Annabeth pulled herself up from the ground—how long had she been bleeding out of those slashes on her arm?—and looked for the rest of her friends. Luke wasn’t yelling anymore, instead arguing with someone she didn’t recognize in a bright orange shirt. Grover’s furry legs trembled as he stared down the hill they’d just gotten up, completely silent, and Thalia—
Where was Thalia?
Annabeth tried to get up but her legs gave out almost immediately, and steady arms caught her before she could fall to the ground again. Kind eyes served to ease some of her panic—she was older than Annabeth, maybe around Luke or Thalia’s age.
Thalia—
“Hey, you’re okay,” the voice said, and Annabeth’s attention was drawn back to you. “I’ve got you.”
“Where’s Thalia?” she blurted out, because now she couldn’t think of anything else.
Your brows creased and you glanced back down the hill—Annabeth did too, and she saw Grover and Luke arguing with each other. Or rather, Luke was yelling at him as Grover anxiously hooked his hands through his hair.
“I don’t know,” you said, “but right now, I need to make sure you’re okay. Are you hurt?”
Annabeth absentmindedly held up her arm, but she was only focused on her friends. Why wasn’t Thalia with them? Why was Luke so upset?
You cursed under your breath in Ancient Greek as you cradled her arm, and you looked back down the hill. Annabeth could see at least half a dozen other kids.
“We’ve got two half-bloods and a satyr, one injured!” you yelled back. “Get Molly and Brayden!”
“Three,” Annabeth found herself saying. “There’s three half-bloods—”
“Annabeth!”
Her head shot up at the sound of Luke calling her name as he bounded over, and her eyes widened at the blood steadily spidering across the fabric of his shirt.
“Luke, you’re hurt—”
“I’m fine,” he insisted. “It’s fine.”
“We have Apollo kids coming,” you said, looking up at him, still cradling Annabeth’s arm. “We’ll get y—”
Your sentence stuck in your throat, and Annabeth could see tears welling in your eyes as your brows furrowed. She thought Luke’s eyes might burst out of his skull as he stared at you, his lips parted but nothing coming out. Neither of you were able to form words.
When he finally did get something out, it was a single name. One Annabeth knew by heart, one that he’d mourned for years.
“Luke?” you whispered.
Before he had the chance to do anything, two teenagers got over the hill and called out your name, the same one Luke used. He always said you were dead, but you clearly weren’t dead, because you were here and you had her arm in your grasp and while your hands were cold, they weren’t cold enough to be dead—
“Molly’s gonna take care of you,” you said, looking back at Annabeth and cutting off her inner dialogue. “She’ll get you to the infirmary and heal you up, okay?”
“My friends—”
“They’re gonna be okay too,” you said. “I promise.”
Annabeth looked up at Luke, and he nodded. “We’ll be with you soon, Annabeth. We— we have to talk about some things.”
So she went with Molly down the hill, and Annabeth put pressure on her bleeding wound when she told her to—it had started to sting like hell now that her adrenaline was fading.
She looked back just in time to see you and Luke share the tightest hug ever.
The hug of two people who realized they weren’t seeing ghosts, Annabeth thought.
-
You bolted up in bed, eyes wide and your chest heaving as you rapidly sucked in air. Your fingers found purchase in your bedsheets, desperate for something familiar—it took a second for you to recognize your surroundings, that you weren’t in an endless void, but your childhood bedroom offered little comfort.
You ran a hand over your forehead, damp with sweat, as you tried to calm down. Your breathing slowed, but you couldn’t shake that awful feeling that hung over you in your sleep.
Your nightmares were getting worse, you knew that much. That raspy, demented voice used to be a rarity, and now it appeared every night. You could usually deal with your nightmares, but the sense of absolute dread that voice and the pit fostered in you was too much. You hadn’t managed to sleep through the night once since you came home for the school year.
You could deal with the monsters—to you, this was the worst part of your godly blood.
A knock rattled on the door out of nowhere, and you nearly jumped out of your skin. The only thing that calmed you down was the thought that monsters didn’t knock.
“Come in,” you croaked, your throat drier than a desert.
Thankfully, a monster hadn’t come to make your night even more miserable. Luke stood in the doorway, his eyebrows creased in concern, messy curls hanging just above his eyes. He wore the Red Sox t-shirt you’d bought for him at the game you dragged him to, and in your addled state, you didn’t even think to tease him about it.
“Are you okay?” He should’ve been as disoriented as you, but his alerted eyes told a different story.
You could only think of one thing. “How did you know?”
Luke’s lips parted for a moment, as if he hadn’t even considered it. “I could just feel it.”
You managed a smile despite every atom in your body screaming at you. “I think that means you can come in.”
He closed the door behind him, and you shifted over in your bed to make room for him. There wasn’t much in a twin, but you made it work. Luke’s weight pressed into the mattress, making you adjust your position, and it was more comforting than any amount of blankets.
“You’re so cold,” he murmured, laying the back of his hand against your arm. “How do you live like that?”
“Blame my dad,” you said. “I’ve got water in my blood.”
“I think that’s probably a bad thing,” Luke said, and you knocked your shoulder into his with a huff.
“You know what I mean.”
Luke let his hand fall back in his lap, and as you brought your knees up to your chest, you pulled the covers with them.
“So,” Luke said, glancing at you, “what’s got you awake at the witching hour?”
“The usual,” you mumbled.
“Nightmares that might be prophetic?” he asked.
You made a lazy gesture with your hand. “Bingo.”
“The worst sense of dread imaginable?”
“Bullseye.”
“I’m sorry,” he said.
You shrugged. “It’s nothing I can’t deal with.”
“You don’t always have to put on a front, y’know,” Luke said. You felt his eyes on you. “You don’t always have to be strong.”
“I’m naturally strong,” you said with mock austerity. “Comes with the god for a dad.”
Luke chuckled and shook his head. “You know what I mean.”
“Yeah,” you murmured.
You leaned into his side, fitting your head into the crook of his neck. Luke wrapped his arm around you, pulling you closer, and you let out a contented sigh.
That voice in your nightmares seemed so small when you had Luke.
“Can you stay?” you asked softly.
He didn’t hesitate. “Of course.”
“Just like old times,” you whispered.
“Just like old times,” he agreed.
Luke ran hot, and you’d never been more thankful for it as you fully settled into his side. Icy blood ran through your veins, and you let out a shaky sigh. You could hear his steady breathing, feel his heartbeat through his chest, and the anxiety from earlier began to steadily fade. You never felt safer than when you were with Luke.
There was something between you—you weren’t that stupid—but you hadn’t talked about it. With you and Luke, it was just… you and Luke. You didn’t have to put a label to it.
How could you put a label to your relationship, when you’d spent your first few years together fighting for each day, and then the next few thinking the other was dead?
Maybe someday, you would talk about it. But for now, this was more than enough.
“Don’t worry,” Luke murmured in your ear as your eyes began to droop. “I’m not gonna let anything happen to you.”
And by the gods, you believed him.

confessions
summary: not officially dating yet means surprising visits and surprising love confessions
luke hughes x reader

She was writing at her desk and set her pen down as she finished her assignment just as she heard a knock on her front door. She got up confused as she was not expecting anyone tonight on Valentine’s day and planned to spend the rest of the night alone.
She peeked through the peek hole and froze confused why Luke was here, he was supposed to be on vacation right now in Michigan not here in New Jersey.
Over the past few months she has been going on dates with Luke and they are officially boyfriend and girlfriend but they are exclusive just taking things slow.
“Luke?” She asked as she opened the door seeing him standing their bundle up in his hoodie and puffer jacket with snowflakes melting on him and holding a bouquet of purple flowers and the cutest little snoopy plushie, “Your not supposed to be back yet?”
“I love you!” Luke quickly blurted out before he lost the courage to say anything, he’s been thinking of ways to tell her the whole week he’s been away from New Jersey and gone from her, he has missed her.
“I know we aren’t officially official but i can’t not tell you anymore and it just didn’t feel right not being here with you on Valentine’s day. If that’s okay work you?” Luke sheepishly rambled his cheeks turned darker the more he talked and his hands tightened around the flowers nervously.
“You love me?” She asked in the softest voice back looking at him so softly he couldn’t help but blush more.
Luke let out a small sigh of relief not seeing her looking happy not like she is gonna reject him, “Of course i do.” Luke reassured her just as softly back.
She stepped closed to him and her hand went up to his cold cheek her thumb brushing over the few hairs he hasn’t shaved away yet as he eagerly leaned into her hand like a purring cat and his eyes closing contently having missed her the last week.
“I love you.” She softly told him leaning closer till her nose just nudged against Luke’s nose softly.
Luke’s eyes opened and looked at her shocked and slowly started beaming, He shifted the things in his hands to one hand and brought his free hand up to her cheek and pulled her even closer and pressing his lips softly against her’s.
“I love you i love you i love you.” Luke repeated kissing around her face making her giggle and he was beaming.
She giggled and put a hand on his chest stopping him, “Come inside Lu.” She grabbed his hand and pulled him inside his apartment.
“These are for you.” Luke gave her a sweet smile handing her the flowers that he knows are her favorite and a snoopy stuff animal because she is always talking about how he looks like snoopy.
She beamed and pressed a kiss to his pink cheek.

Tw: Dubcon, coercion, orgasm denial, general guys being icky and manipulative.
(Its kinda ass idk)
Thinking about...
A couple of guys, not really delinquents bit certainly not 'upstanding' citizens just using you for some relief. It's probably after some event, maybe a rock show at some shithole downtown, or maybe you were just getting some snacks with guys you thought were your friends. Not thought, they are your friends, but you couldn't have imagined this.
The first fidgets with the lever of the backseats, trying to get them folded back into the trunk while number twos tugging at your skirt, your tits pressed harshly into the leather of his car. "Cmon, find the fucking lever!" He growls and number one, who raises his hands in defense. "What do you want me to do, its probably your fucking car that let this happen. This shit-bucket probably doesn't even have a lever for the seats anymore."
Number three is driving, slowly finding some small lot with minimal lights in the back of some old building, shifting into park. While the two in back continue to bicker, he makes his way to the front of you. "Are you two sure about this? Seems like going to far." He says, one hand gripping at his pants sleeve with tension.
"You're bricked up too, bro. You aren't exactly the virgin Mary here." Number two pauses, then chuckles. "But, maybe virgin does fit." One cackles too, prompting three to smack the shoulder of two. "You're not scared, are you? You want this plenty, right?" Two asks, squishing your cheeks together in a 'fishy' face with a free hand.
"Don't know." You're scared, tired from the the fun night, unsure why three guys you've always been platonic with are doing this, but you can't deny the aching in your gut, the way your thighs are rubbing a bit against the leather seams of the middle seat and the far right seat. "I'm not sure, you guys-" You yelp, a hard open-palm grazing across the sliver of exposed ass poking from under your slightly ridden up skirt.
"Fuck is wrong with you?" Three asks, suddenly the seat jolts down, making you gasp. "Easy, easy."
"Get that skirt off, I just know she's got a good ass." One's hands push up, grabbing a cheek each amd kneading them as he groans. "Fucking mint, look at this, baby!" One leans so he's over you a bit, hard clothed cock pressing against your ass as he whispers in your ear. "Why'd you hide this thing from us?" He asks.
"I wasn't hiding it-"
"Obviously." Two snarks. "We barely even had to lift this skirt up, you were practically flaunting it."
God, you're aching. Maybe it's half stress, half arousal making you run on adrenaline, but the lack of care they seem to have for how you feel about this is having a primal effect on you.
"Pussy's fat too..." One comments, yanking down the thin panties keeping your soaked lips from him.
"Careful!" You squeak, causing them all to actually pause for a moment. "Its... been a bit."
Two breaks out into a grin, realizing this should mean dwindling protests from you about the way they plan to use you.
"She's not saying yes." Three protests, hand coming to hover over your cunt, effectively blocking his eager friends wandering fingers.
"She said maybe, and look at her!" One tries to get his hands past threes hand. "She's dripping on his leather seats, she's wetter than a bitch in heat.
"Its not like we're holding her down in some alley or something!" Two adds, placing a kiss on your sweaty forehead. "This is loving compared to that. Vanilla stuff." He snips.
Three seems conflicted, eyes downcast as he reluctantly pulls a hand away, moving it to gently rub your back up and down, as if trying to soothe a cat.
"Finally. Glad you decided to knock off the cockblocking." Spreading the lips of your labia, one whistles lowly, dragging a digital from your hole to aroused bud from behind, gently circling once, then twice.
"Shit-" You whisper out, gripping the seat edges with slick hands. You can feel threes hand clench slightly, but you lay your cheek on his knee, casting a flushed and low-lidded glance up at him. This reassures him a little, but your head near his oh-so sensitive inner thigh makes this action also go right to his dick.
"Fingers, how many you want?" One whispers. You just mewl at the feeling of friction on your clit, whining when it suddenly stops. "Wait, wait, okay, two, two!" You exclaim. You jolt forward a bit at the slight intrusion, the digits working you towards a finish, but not at the pace you'd like.
"You're sucking him in like crazy, shit." Two chuckles, leaning to glance behind you. "Makes me wonder what kinda suction you'd have elsewhere." He fidgets with his belt, the sound of a zipper and belt clasp coming undone sounds out, and a snap of boxers being pulled slightly lower. Three looks disgusted as two just winks, taking his own cock in his hand and running his hand over it once, then twice before pressing it forward.
Your lips wet with the slightly sticky red tip he presses to them, prodding once or twice like he's seeking entrance. "You wanna out in? Just give it a taste, I promise I'm not gonna make you take it all the way, baby." Two chuckles as you awkwardly kiss the tip. "That's nice, but I'm not asking you to give it's first kiss." Gripping your hair, he guides it in a bit, groaning. "Yeah, there we go. Right around my cock, use your tongue." You let out a moan as one hits a spot with the tips of his fingers, curled inside. It reverberates around Two's cock, causing him to buck. He keeps his promise, you have to admit, he only bucks forward a bit before pulling his length back out. "You're taking it so fucking good, not gonna bruise your mouth though, she's taking it like a fucking champ, man." He glances at One. "You think she's close?"
"Her pussy's twitching like she's gonna pop any second." The bragging first member slows his pace, causing you to whine and pull your mouth off Two's cock. "Why'd you stop, wait- wait-" You're panting, on the verge of overstimulation and seeking that release rather than focus on all your conflicting feelings.
"Shh, calm down. You'll get your pussy rocked, calm down." Two elbows Three, nodding his head towards the man. He's been stoic since you out your head on his leg, conflicted and sickened, while simultaneously being sickening aroused. "Last chance to jump this, man. I know you want to.." Three just pushes him back, but moves to have you sit up, now facing him. His hands on your cheek. "Breathe. S' okay, you want to stop, or you want to finish this?" He asks.
"Finish it, baby. We'll stroke it over yo-" Three smacks off one, scolding him before turning back to you. "Your choice. Your decision. Don't listen to them." Three reassures you, arms on blocking you in and leaning over you slightly to keep the other two from interfering.
"Finish. I wanna cum, m' aching and-" You buck forward just a bit, and he gets the memo. "Okay, okay. Lay on your back, spread your legs, I'm gonna do the work."
You don't have to be asked twice; laying on the cool leather, this time back down, chest rising. Two hands get your feet tucked around Threes waist, and he lowers down on you. You're so hyper focused on how sensitive you are, and your 'friend'leaning over you you can barely register one and two jerking off, hoping to climax around the time you do.
Three gets himself lined up, but not before placing a few soft kisses on your neck. "I got you. Just forget about those idiots, okay? You and me, I'm taking care of you. I'll let you finish and make em' take you right back home."
You just nod, eyes squeezing tight as he enters. "Ah-" You groan. "You're big, fuck-"
He's not moving. "Too big?"
You shake your head, and he resumes several slow repitions. Eventually, he's fully sheathed, balls smacking against your ass as he thrusts. "Amazing, you feel so good, so good." He grunts. His hands brace on either side of you, but don't grip you harshly like one and two. "Is it good for you?" He asks.
"Up..." is all you can mumble. He gets the hint, angling his cock slightly. Soon, his bulbous tip is hammering that spongy place deep inside you, and you can feel your release finally hitting. "Yes, cumming, I'm finishing-" You start to yell, then gasp at a hot rush of fluids that's aren't your own.
"Holy shit!" Two cackles along with one, as three halts in his movements. "Mister 'i don't wanna, it's not right' might've just knocked you up!"
Your still riding out your orgasm, but three has immediately snapped out of ir. "I didn't mean to, sorry, I didn't-" he's pulling out, immediately smacking two who finished a bit ago. "Its your car, drive. Fucking drive, go to the pharmacy." Two puts his hands up, but obeys.
"M' so sorry." Three says as he sits you up. "I promise I'm clean and stuff, and we're gonna grab plan b, get you some water too-"
"Its okay." You blurt. "Its okay, I know you didn't mean to." Biting your lip, you think about what happened. Of any other guys did this, it'd be horrifying, and you admit it was scary. But... it also wouldn't feel nearly as hot with anyone else. "It was good."
"Hell yeah it was." Both of you were so caught up, you didn't realize One stayed in the back of the car. "Wait till you get a ride on me, baby. I promise I'll be even more of a gentleman. Shit, I'll tell you before it shoot my load in you."
You should go out for late night drives more.

It's not like you to forget about watching a Red Crow video, but it totally slipped your mind after Tara started suggesting different single guys to you. Seems like she's known Sylus for a while and isn't stoked about the idea of you liking him. For some reason, that gets you going even more.
Sure, could be that he is a disturbed individual, but you figure it has more to do with his cold demeanor. It almost sounded like she was talking you out of talking to him again after her offer to give him your number. Almost like she suddenly remembered something. Could it be that she also knows about what he does? If that's the case, she's less innocent that you thought she was.
Either way, she kept you busy until there was a knock at the door and you realized it was already 2 am. No wonder you had been getting sleepy. 'I'll get it,' you offer, you brain fried once more but this time the sleepiness is to blame. Tara giggles in response.
You expected Kieran to come knocking so that Tara could drive him home. Instead, Sylus leans over you once more when you open the door, one hand on the top of the doorframe the other in his pocket. He's incredibly close, closer than one normally is when knocking on someone's door. Is he doing this on purpose?
The smell of whiskey and cigarettes hang around him like a cloud, mixing in with his cologne to create the most intoxicating smell you've ever smelled. His shirt is a little more unbuttoned than it was before and there's a slight pink tint to his cheeks. You figure he's drunk or close to drunk.
But then he speaks, and he sounds stone cold sober: 'Hey, can you tell Tara Kieran is sleeping over. He is in no state to move.'
'What happened to “taking it easy”,' Tara shouts from the couch. Sylus stands up a little straighter, removing his hand from the doorframe, and looking over top of me to Tara on the couch. He grins slyly.
'Nothing we haven't done before.' She hops off the couch and rushes over, looking slightly agitated.
'Sylus, that can refer anywhere from a gross shot to LSD,' she snaps at him. He leans down over her like he just had with me. Her eyes widen ever so slightly, and it almost looks like her hair is puffing up like an angry cat. Suddenly, you understand why she might've wanted to curb your interest in Sylus but the teasing tone that slips from his lips so easily gets you fucking going. Without really noticing it, you bite your lip for no more than a second while your thighs rub together.
He notices though. His eyes flicker over to you for just a second and his grin widens ever so slightly. 'No drugs. I quit that stuff. He's just very drunk.' Tara groans. 'You can check if you want.'
'I will,' she snaps as she pushes past the two of you and quickly disappears into Sylus’ apartment.
And suddenly, you are harshly reminded what happened the last time you and Sylus were alone. Reminded of that video that you still haven't fully watched. The first few seconds are engraved in your memory. Sylus, completely dressed with his hand slowly rubbing over the tent in his pants, low groans leaving his lips.
When you look up at him again, you swear he knows exactly what's going on in your mind. There's that sly grin on his lips again. 'Having a fun night?'
'Oh, fuck you,' you groan, and feel yourself puff up like Tara had as you cross your arms with an annoyed expression on your face. If he knows, you might as well cuss him out for it. He deserves as much, and he seems to like it as a rich laugh slips from his lips.
He leans even closer, still towering over you with his eyes focused on yours. You feel your cheeks and ears heat up like you've just shoved your head against a space heather. 'You know who I am,' he states. You can almost feel your attitude melt like snow thrown on a fire as you nod.
'You know what I do,' his voice is gravely, low, seductive. He's enjoying this. You nod again. No more snow, only fire. Fire in your loins and in your fucking ovaries. You are going to burst. He moves in even closer.
'Use your words, sweetie.' One of his two signature pet names for his audience. Your panties are soaked, your blood is boiling, and your attitude is back. Because, if he keeps this going, you two will be down and dirty right here in your doorway. Ain't no way you're letting Tara see you in that state.
'Back the fuck up before I jump your bones.' Maybe you should've just said the first part. His confidence wafers for a second before he realizes what you mean. He’s even closer now, his lips next to your ear, voice barely above a whisper.
'Did you like what you did to me?'
'Kieran is passed out,' Tara loudly announces before peaking her head around the corner. Before she can, Sylus moves back and crosses his arms, looking like he's bored out of his mind while you are bright red in the face. 'Sylus, help me get him in the car. We have plans tomorrow.'
'Yes ma’am.'
∘₊✧───────────────────────────────────────✧₊∘
3 am. The world outside is quiet, just like Sylus likes it. Kieran was a real pain to get in the car but at least he gets to listen to some records on his own now. Luke had left long before but Kieran always sticks. Sylus can only hope he'll be awake enough to walk into Tara's apartment when they get there.
Today had been interesting to say the least. He hasn't been this risky in a long time, teasing someone who clearly knows who he is. Could be a very awkward situation in the future if she ever grows over her lust for him, but for now he's fine. This could be a fun little game between the two of them. No one else needs to know, but what if he just films his content after he's seen her. Like how he did today.
Short conversation, make a video wearing what she saw him in, turn her on so he can listen to her sweet little moans pierce through the thin walls. He does need to keep his schedule though, otherwise it'd be too suspicious. On the other hand, no one would complain about an extra video occasionally.
The soft thud of the needle bumping off his record pulls Sylus out of his trance. The room is suddenly awfully silent. Then, he hears it.
The softest of whimpers.
He turns off the record player and walks into his room curiously. The sound is coming from the air extractor fan in the bathroom, just as it had this afternoon. The shower isn't running and your noises sound farther away, so it's possible that you're in your bedroom with the bathroom door open.
"Is she doing this on purpose," Sylus questions as he stands in the middle of his bathroom, listening to the sounds you make while his dick starts to strain against his pants. "Would she hear it if I did the same thing?"
His curiosity quickly gets the better of him. Just for good measure, he quickly sets up his phone to record on top of the toilet reservoir and presses record. Then, he moves to lean against the sink cabinet, his head thrown back as he rubs over the fabric of his pants, just as he had this afternoon.
He hears a particularly lewd moan and prays to the gods above his phone picked the sound up. His hand moves to his zipper and he undoes himself skillfully and fast. He takes his dick out of his boxers, not bothering to take his pants off. It's hard as a fucking rock and already leaking with just those little sounds.
"What is this woman doing to me?"
Lazily, he starts stroking his dick. Soft groans and moans slipping from his lips, suppressed in an attempt to still hear you through the vents. Then the prettiest picture slips into his mind.
You, laying on your back in his bed, naked. Heels planted on his mattress, legs spread, hands lazily pulling on the hair on the back of his head. That beautiful blush on your cheeks, looking desperate and longing for release while he drives his length into you. The little sounds you make, so much louder when he's this close, so much more beautiful. Your eyes focused on him and only him.
His hand starts moving faster, chocking his dick ever so slightly while his other hand grips the sink, knuckles turning white. An animalistic sound leaves his throat, a sound he's never made before. Something like a chocked growl.
God, that image. He'd lean in closer, wrap his arms around your body to pull you closer, his lips exploring the expanse of your neck and shoulders while your nails leave trails on his back. One of his hands would leave your body, move to your little bud of nerves to help you reach ecstasy.
Another growl leaves his throat, louder this time. He's getting so close after so little time. Is this really all because of you? Because some pretty girl showed interest in him? He's not sure, but the picture in his mind keeps getting more and more realistic. His eyes screw closed, head leaning forward now, his breathing heavy.
He'd sit down on his heels, pull you onto his lap and hold you close to his chest, as close as humanly possible, while picking up the pace and drilling into you. Your pretty little moans would get louder, would morph into his name so beautifully strewn out on your tongue, barely recognizable to anyone but him. And you'd bite his collarbone. The pain and pleasure of the whole thing tipping him over the edge, his hands bruising your skin, serving you the same mixture to help you fall into the abyss with him.
Hot ropes of cum lay on the tiles in front of Sylus while he tries to catch his breath. He doesn't hear your voice anymore, so you must be done as well.
"What the hell just happened?"
He steadies himself and grabs his phone from the toilet reservoir, stopping the recording. Before he can throw the thing to the side again, he gets a notification on his video from this afternoon. When he opens it, the name and profile picture look awfully familiar. It's you, there's no denying it. His lips pull into a grin when he reads your comment.
"Raw, next question."

Different: Christmas
Katie McCabe x Teen!Reader
Summary: Christmas with Clover
"Coopurr...Coopurr, man, knock it off!"
Your mum's cat continues to try to attack your feet under the safe covers of your bed.
"Coopurr! Come on!"
"You can just kick him off the bed," Your aunt Ella says from the doorway and you finally sit up in bed.
"I can't because he's the only sane person in this house! Do you know what it's like leaving with you two?"
"Amazing?"
Your mother pops her head through the door. "The most perfect thing in the world?"
You let out a bark of laughter. "You wish."
Katie winks. "I don't have to wish for something that's already true."
"The most perfect thing in the world is you leaving me here for Christmas."
It's Katie's turn to laugh now, pulling down your blankets and allowing Coopurr to bat at your now exposed toes.
"No chance," She says," Come on, up! We've got the flight back home this evening."
"Just leave me here to rot!" You say dramatically and Katie laughs again.
"You know, if you're here alone then you have to cook for yourself," She points and you sigh, finally sitting up in bed and scooping Coopurr into your arms.
"Fine," You say," But don't think I'll be happy about it."
"You're never happy about anything."
"Kim'll tell you that it's because I'm a teenager."
Katie cracks a smile. "You know what? Kim's onto something."
You roll your eyes as you get out of bed as Katie's eyes narrow.
"You haven't even started packing yet, have you?"
"I was still banking on us staying here."
Katie plucks Coopurr from your arms with an eye roll, trying to push you along with her foot. "Go and pack. And make sure to bring lots of jumpers! You know my parents don't like turning on the heating in Winter!"
You rolls your eyes as you go rummaging around in your wardrobe for your suitcase.
It's not like you don't enjoy going back to Ireland. On the contrary, you love going back to Ireland. You just didn't enjoy how big of a family you have.
Certain members of the family seemed to delight in reminding you that you weren't actually Katie's daughter. It didn't seem to matter to them that Katie had been a mother figure to you all your life. It didn't seem to matter to them that you barely even remembered your biological parents.
All that seemed to matter to them was pointing out that you were technically, biologically, Katie's little cousin.
You stuff whatever's clean and visible into your suitcase with little regard to what clothes you're actually packing before practically throwing the suitcase down the stairs.
"Stop trying to break stuff!" Katie yells.
"Ella's the one that broke the hallway table!" You yell back with a laugh," She came in drunk and fell over it!"
Ella gasps in horror from her room. "You said that you wouldn't tell her that!"
"And you said you would get me ice cream. But here I am...Ice creamless!"
You don't actually get your ice cream, even at the airport when you very pointedly show a selection of ice creams to Ella and she promptly ignores you.
Pulling up to your grandparents' house has always been a bit daunting to you. Before Katie adopted you, you lived in that house too, once upon a time.
Now though, it feels you with trepidation.
Most of the family is probably already there and you just know you're going to have to end up sharing a room with more people than just Katie.
You're right, of course, when a few other aunts and uncles arrive. Katie's aunts and uncles, of course, but also kind of yours. But you'd never really considered them that.
They were related to your biological parents and, again, you barely remembered them. You'd grown up with Katie as your maternal role model so it made sense to you as you got older that her siblings ended up filling the roles of aunts and uncles to you.
"You feeling okay?" Katie asks, hand gently covering yours as you sit on the squished sofa and pick at the Christmas Eve meal that her mother made for everyone.
"I...Yeah, I just..." You look up at one of the older men in the room, the one that always insisted on calling you anything but Katie's daughter. "I'm just going to the toilet."
"You feel sick?" Katie sits up properly, eyes narrowed as they flick over your face, searching for a flush or anything that shows you're feeling under the weather.
"No! No...I...I just need a bit of a breather, you know?"
"Yeah, kind of overwhelming around here, huh?"
"Yeah...I'm just gonna..."
"Yeah, you go ahead."
The mirror in the bathroom clearly hasn't been cleaned in a while, covered in little water droplets but you don't really mind as you splash your face with water a few times and stare at yourself, gripping the sides of the sink in a white knuckle grip.
It takes you a while to psych yourself up, enough time that you're pretty sure dinner has been finished and people have moved onto dessert.
It's usually loud in the McCabe household and on Christmas Eve, it's no different.
Lots of people fighting over the remote and someone singing a horrific Christmas carol and someone else lecturing someone on the correct way to cook a turkey even though everyone knows that no matter how a turkey is cooked, it always comes out dry.
But this yelling is different and you definitely recognise the voice of one of the people yelling.
"Get your bag!" Katie yells, finally spotting you lingering in the doorway.
"Wh-What?"
"Your bag!" Katie snaps before sighing and softening her voice," Can you go upstairs and grab our bags? Wait for me by the door."
You know better than to try and ask her things when she's like this so you leave to grab everything, coming down to catch the tailwind of her yelling.
"-She is my daughter and she will always be my daughter, no matter what any of you people think!"
"Katie-"
"No! I won't hear it! She's my daughter and I love her and it's none of your business anyway!"
"You can't just leave, it's Christmas tomorrow!"
"Yes! And I will be spending Christmas with my daughter! I don't care if it's just the two of us. If it has to be that way then it will!"
Katie looks surprisingly calm when she joins you at the front door.
"I don't think we'll get a flight at this hour," She says," But I reckon we could still catch the ferry and then we'll take a cab back home, sound good?"
You smile at her. "I might have accidentally left your present at home anyway."
She laughs. "That's 'cause you're psychic. You knew we were spending Christmas at home this year."

Danny stared at his nemesis, slowing his walk to a complete stop.
“Don’t,” he pleaded.
The devil incarnate glared back at him, somehow conveying its disdain, disinterest, and malicious intent in one cold stare.
“I swear to Ancients-!”
Mr. Muffins, Jazz’s college cat, meowed loudly and slapped the glass off of the counter.
“No!” Danny dove at the glass, skidding across the tile just in time to catch Jazz’ favorite cup as tipped over and plummeted towards the cold hard floor. “Oh my- you little devil! Mr. Muffins, you little shit!”
Mr. Muffins flicked a tail and sat down calmly as Danny sprung back up to place the cup into the sink.
“You stinky bastard, Jazz would have killed me!”
Danny picked the cat up and held him by the armpits, dangling the cat. Mr. Muffins, no longer simply disdainful, meowed loudly and tried to wiggle away.
“Listen, here, Mr. Muffins- ah! No, you’re not allowed to run away! You have to take responsibility for your actions,” Danny slipped into Ghost Speak as he lectured Mr. Muffins, a rather harried look smushed across his face. He didn’t hear the door open, but he did hear Jazz call out to him.
“Danny, stop bullying Mr. Muffins!”
“Maybe if you parented Mr. Muffins right, he wouldn’t be trying to knock your favorite cup all over the place! If it weren’t for me,” Danny swayed Mr. Muffins, who had become docile as he caught sight of Jazz, like a fluffy and long pendulum. “Your cup would be pieces all over the floor right now!”
Jazz tossed her keys onto the table. “Right… and that definitely didn’t have anything to do with you putting your cup too close to the edge like I told you not to?”
Danny stared at her, mouth gaping in offense. Alright, so it did have to do with that, but it was offensive how fast she came to that conclusion. Danny said as much to Jazz, who smirked and plucked her cat from his grip.
“Have you considered that you’re easily predictable, dork?” Jazz cuddled Mr. Muffins, who was purring up a storm, and walked towards her room.
“Rude! Are you calling me basic?”
“If the shoes fit, Danny-O!” Jazz hollered back. Mr. Muffins mewed as if to punctuate her sentence.
“I hate that cat,” Danny grumbled, grinning fondly. “Now that you’re back, I’m gonna go visit Tim and Tucker! They’re over at Tucker’s for a project!”
“Kay!” Jazz yelled back. “Don’t run into to much trouble and be back before three A.M.!”
“Yes, mother!” Danny put on his shoes and started walking.
——
Danny, along with a handful of dumbstruck civilians, stared down at the unconscious clown. Then, they stared at Danny’s hand in shock and awe. Danny too, stared at his own hand, but in abject betrayal.
“Shit. Jazz is gonna kill me.” He mumbled, pulling out his phone.
“Hey, Tucker. Yeah, sorry, I’m gonna be late.” Danny paused, glancing back down at the clown, up at the still shocked goons, and sighed. “I- uh, knocked out the Joker by accident. Maybe broke his nose.”
Danny heard Tim’s muffled “WHAT?!” and silently concurred because what? He thought villains in Gotham were made of sturdier stuff?!
“Can you tell Jazz? I gotta,” Danny held up the phone, so it could pick up the loud sirens approaching his position. “Deal with the cops.”
Danny pouted as Tucker laughed at him.

A Fluff bakugo x fem!Reader fic where reader spills the beans about their relationship during a girls night.
Authors note: It's based on that one audio from that one show I can't remember the name of.
"No offense dude but what do you know about relationships?"
"Actually smart guy-"
"What?"
"I can't say."
"What?"
"____ and I are dating!"
"What?!"
"We have been for 3 months!"
"What!"
"We have matching brackets!"
Mina's small dormitory was filled with laughter and chatter as the girls gathered for their long-awaited girls' night. Pillows and blankets were strewn everywhere, snacks covered the teens desk and bed, and the scent of popcorn lingered in the air.
Mina was busy applying glittery nail polish to Jirou’s nails, while you sat cross-legged on the floor, trying to focus on the card game you and Uraraka were playing.
Mina, never one to shy away from a juicy topic, suddenly broke the relative calm. “Okay, ladies, let’s spill some tea. Who here has a crush?”
Jirou groaned. “Why do you always ask stuff like this?” “Because it’s fun!” Mina said, winking. “C’mon, spill!”
“I’m too busy focusing on my hero training to think about that,” Tsuyu said matter-of-factly, sipping her juice.
“Same,” Uraraka said, but the way she avoided eye contact suggested otherwise. Hagakure elbows her side playfully making the girls face shine red.Mina glances at the girl infront of her who was drying her nails with a playful look.
"I see the way you look at Kaminari and it's no secret the way he feels." The purple haired girl's face flushes a deep shade of red at Mina's implications.
"I don't know what your talking about." Jirou defends herself weakly making the other girls in the room playfully "oooohhhh". Jirou shove Mina's face away when the pink girl begins to make a kiss face.
"I think you guy's would be cute, and Kaminari's nice. When he's not hanging with Mineta." You visibly shake at the boys name and simultaneously make the other girl cringe. Hagakure going as far as pretending to throw up.
"Oh you can't talk y/n, what do you know about relationships?" Jirou lightheartedly snaps but her red ears give away how flustered she really is. You set your cards down and raised an eyebrow. “Well, smart guy, I actually—”
“What?” Mina’s eyes lock on you, they sparkle with anticipation. “I can’t say,” you mumbled quicklycatching yourself, feeling your face heat up.
“What!?” Uraraka gasped, nearly knocking over her drink. Jirou leaned forward, intrigued now.
“Wait, wait, wait. Are you saying there’s something to say?”You bit your lip, debating whether or not to come clean. Finally, you sighed, knowing there was no way out.
“Fine. Katsuki and I are dating.” The room went silent. All at once, the girls erupted. “You and Bakugo are what?!” Mina practically screamed, dropping the nail polish.
“We have been for three months,” you said quickly, bracing yourself for the inevitable chaos.“Three months?!” Mina’s voice rose an octave. “And you didn’t tell us?!”
Momo's jaw dropped. “Wait, Bakugo? Like our Bakugo? Explosive, angry Bakugo?”"He’s not as scary as everyone thinks.” you say matter-a-factly, "he's like if you gave a big teddy bear explosives." The girls laugh.
"Yeah but he still has explosives. And he's so angry." Hagakure says making the other girls nod. "Not all the time, it's more like a front he puts up. Don't get me wrong he's still... grumpy just nicer. Plus he cares."
Mina clutched her chest dramatically. “I can’t believe it. Y/N, you tamed the beast!” "It wasn't very hard." You joke making the other girls chuckle, "does anyone know?" Uraraka asks expectantly.
"No, we were going to keep it a secret a while, per his request, but cats out of the bag now." Shrugging your shoulders you reach for a snack next to Momo. "I'm still supried." The girl says. Tsuyu tilts her head slightly, "looking back i think I can see it."
This makes the other girls think back to seeing you and him interact. Mina gasps, "How did we not see it sooner!" You laugh, covering your mouth still full with food. "Well suprise!"

Okay—don’t know if this fulfills the type of prompt you’re looking for but: Marie asking Logan to play Barbie’s with her. He somehow ends up wearing a princess crown

Babysitting || Worst!Logan x Reader
warnings: fem!reader, she/her pronouns are used and the reader is referred as mom
a/n: Man I just love writing Wolverine being a dad omfggg anyways I hope you enjoy!!!

"You promise you don't mind?"
You're rushing around your apartment trying to get ready for work. Just your luck you got called in for an emergency and your babysitter wasn't able to come on such short notice.
In the midst of your panic Logan knocked on your door like a knight in shining armor. Though this knight was caring an empty tupperware that you had given him leftovers in.
Logan had heard you talking to yourself in a panic. He tries not to eavesdrop but you were being louder than usual so being the good...uh boyfriend? Friend, Neighbor? You haven't really figured that part out yet.
Anyways being the good person that he is he came down to see what was wrong.
"I'm sure, she's a nice kid how hard can it be?" He says with a shrug and you resist the urge to scoff. He was doing you a huge favor afterall.
"Pick up is at 3pm, I'll be home by 6 and I'll grab dinner." You grab your bag and hurry out the door.
Logan glances at the clock. It's almost 3 so he better get a move on. Maries school was a short walk from the apartment. He can't but notice just how much he stands out among the other parents here for pick up and drop off.
He winces when he hears the shrieking laughter coming from the playground. Parents come and go, collecting their kids and listening to them talk about their day. He glances to the side and sees a little boy staring at him with wide eyes. In his hands was a wolverine figurine. Logan just smirks, putting his finger up to his lips telling the kid to keep quiet.
"Kitty!" Logan looks up to see Marie running towards him.
"Hey kid, your mom had to go to work so it's just me and you for a couple hours." He lifts Marie up into his arms.
Taking her backpack and slinging it onto his shoulder. The damn thing fit just a little too tight around his biceps and shoulders. As he walks home she rambles on about her day. Logan listens as she plays with the collar of his shirt.
"And then we wrote about our favorite animal and we got to draw it and Ms. K put all of our drawings on the wall."
"Yeah? What's your favorite animal?" Logan asks as he digs around for the key you gave him.
"Kitty cats!" Logan flinches as she practically shouts in his ear.
"Oh yeah? I couldn't tell." As he opens the door he sets her down, placing her stuff near the door as she goes running to her room.
Logan sits on the couch and stretches out, pick up is done so now he just has to make sure Marie doesn't die or get a tattoo or do anything stupid. As soon as he reaches for the remote he hears the little pitter of her feet.
She pokes her head around the wall and looks at Logan with those puppy dog eyes. He groans, knowing she was about to ask him something he won't be able to say no to.
"Will you play Barbie's with me? Mommy promised me she'd play today." She asks. Pulling two dolls from behind her back. Logan just sighs, putting his hands in his head.
"Wouldn't you rather color or something? Or we can watch that show with that annoying blue dog." He tries to bargain but Marie stands firm. She wants Barbie's. It's that or nothing. So Logan just nods his head.
"Okay fine. But only for an hour. Max."
An hour max his ass because Marie wouldn't let him leave. Every time he tried to end Barbie dress up her little eyes would fill with tears and Logan would quickly promise to keep playing. Just the threat of her tears was enough to make him fold. So here he is. At the will of a 6 year old.
"Logan? Marie? I'm home!" He hears your voice and your footsteps get closer.
"Mommy!" Marie yells.
"I brought pizza it's on the counter..." Your voice trails off as you appear in the doorway.
Marie runs past you straight to the bathroom to wash her hands before dinner. Logan is sitting on the ground, having broken the small wooden chair Marie insisted he sit on at firs. A plastic princess crown sits on his head and he has pink glitter nail polish messily painted onto his nails.
"Barbie tea party?" You ask, trying to hide your laughter.
"Yeah. You've raise a very manipulative child you know that?" Logan says as he stands up.
"All you have to do is say no Logan." You reach over and fix the crown so that it rested evenly on his head. His hair tuffs sticking out of the crown just above the fake jewels.
"Well she's very convincing." He hums.
Your hands fall back to your sides but you don't move from the doorway. Something about seeing him so willing to spend time with Marie, to entertain her silly games and even let her paint his nails.
It just means a lot. Logan...he didn't sign up for all of this but he's willingly brought himself into your life and you don't want him to leave. But is he here for Marie? Or would he stick around for you too?
"How do I look?" He asks, snapping you out of your question sprial.
"Huh?" You ask. He shrugs and crosses his arms, his biceps bulging out of his flannel shirt.
"You're staring at me sweetheart, thought I'd ask if you like what you see." He purrs.
Your eyes widen as he slowly backs you against the wall. Even with the pink nails and the plastic crown Logan was all consuming. There's just something so attractive about his paternal instincts.
"You look good." You squeak out.
"Just good?" He asks and you swear your brain starts to short circuit.
"Mommy! I'm hungry." Marie's voice makes Logan jump back, his cockiness fades away as he reaches up and takes the crown off.
"I'll be right there baby. Just go sit down." You say with a smile. You glance back at Logan for a moment, a beat of silence as you stare into each others eyes. Your heart is still racing. He gently places the crown on Marie's bed and walks past you to the kitchen.
"Fuck." You whisper. What was that?
You pretend like you weren't pressed up against the wall by Logan just moments ago and serve everyone a slice of pizza. You listen as Marie tells you about her day and playing with Logan. It's so utterly domestic. But soon Marie's bedtime comes around and it's time to say goodbye.
"Kitty can you pick me up from school tomorrow?" Marie asks sleepily.
"Oh baby Logan's very busy-"
"I don't mind" Logan cuts in.
"Gives me something to do during the day. As long as you don't mind." he adds on the last part quickly. Before you can answer Marie does it for you.
"Yes!" She squeals.
"Marie wait!" You call but she's already gone to her room.
"Are you sure Logan? I know it's a lot. That we can be a lot."
"Sweetheart, I like spending time with her, with you." Logan says softly.
He's really grown to care about Marie and you. A lot. More than he's willing to admit out loud right now. The two of you aren't a lot to Logan. In fact you're just what he needs. This normalcy and kindness. Being around the two of you makes him feel like he really can be more than the man he used to be.
"Okay, thank you Logan. You don't know how much everything you've done means to us." You place your hand on his arm, squeezing it gently.
"See you tomorrow sweetheart." He throws you a wink as he shuts the door.
He stays for just a moment. He hears your footsteps get farther away and he lets out the breath he didn't know he was holding. As he heads back to his apartment he starts to feel dread creeping up his throat. Who is he kidding? Can the Wolverine really go and play babysitter? He's not...he's not good for you or for Marie. But he cares about the two of you and he's too selfish to let you go now.
"How was your date with the hot mom downstairs?" Wade asks as Logan steps into the apartment.
"It wasn't a date I was just helping out." Logan mumbles as he opens the fridge and searches for a beer, only finding a root beer instead.
"Hey we listen and we don't judge. Everyone has a type. Yours just happens to be MILFS."
Logan shoots daggers at Wade as he pops off the top of the bottle.
"Shut the fuck up." A surge of jealousy hitting him like a truck at the idea of Wade even thinking of you like that. Wade just smirks, loving just how easy it is to push his buttons.
"Man you're just racking up those father figure roles aren't you Hugh." Wade sighs. Logan choose to ignore whatever nonsense Wade was spitting from his mouth and head right to bed.
Closing his eyes he just wonders how far he'll let himself sink into your lives. A small part of him hopes forever.

WORLDS AWAY II
a/n: okay wasn't expecting that many of you to actually see and like the first part. stick with me here while I put some stuff together for these two love birds. I'm gonna warn you, it's gonna be angsty.
It was like everything was happening so fast but not fast enough. Azriel took in everything with his eyes. How Lucien swiped the meaningless stuff from the table with is arm. Rhys winnowed away to get Madja himself. Mor took your hand into hers and talked to you, begged you to just hold on, as Cassian grabbed a clean napkin to press to your neck.
Nesta grabbed another bunch of napkins to place pressure on your chest. Feyre took care to dab at the wound on your head.
Azriel stood there as still as a statue. He didn't know what to do. He didn't know what his hands should do, or what he should say.
He watched your eyes open. He watched you look around the room, at all the people that surrounded you. How you weakly groaned and tried to move away from them.
Until you saw him. Your eyes locked with his and in that moment it was like time moved normally.
Azriel stepped up to your body on the table. He watched as you visibly stopped tensing and your eyes went wide.
"It's okay. You're gonna be okay." he spoke.
You nodded your head at his words, a couple of tears then came out of your eyes. They painted streaks down your face. His hand, as if on instinct, came out and brushed them away.
-------
Everything felt like pain. Blinking. Breathing. Trying to move your head, trying to move anything. But you couldn't help it. You didn't know where you were, or who was with you.
You didn't feel safe.
That's why you sit up in bed, which doesn't belong to you, and look around the room. The room isn't filled with anything identifiable or homely.
It's bare.
A horrible thought crosses your mind. That you were taken to some place without your knowledge. Someone did something to you The last thing you remember is being held down by a captor and their thick blade cutting you open.
No. Not that's not the last thing you remember.
Him.
The winged fae. The one you saved some time ago. He looked at you.
The sound of the door opening makes you look over to it. You see an older woman walk in. As she does, your cat Felix walks in behind her. You let out a sigh of relief at the sight of him.
"You're awake. Good."
-------
Azriel didn't know what to think. A mate? A human mate? It's not like these things were impossible. Feyre and Rhysand come to mind. They both felt the pull before they even knew what it was and before Feyre was made into fae.
But this?
He feels undeserving of this, of you. He's getting ahead of himself anyways. He's just happy you're alive. Healing.
"I met her a while ago. In the woods near The Wall."
Azriel turns around at the sound of a male voice. Standing there, at the edge of the training mat, is Lucien.
"When I met her she was nowhere near The Wall." Azriel says.
"She said she moved. Not sure why. I relocated her within Spring." Lucien offers.
Azriel nods, "What happened? How did she end up like that?"
"She had taken in one of those Children of the Blessed."
Azriel huffs. A fanatic had let their followings lead them to hurting another person. It's not unusual but he didn't like it. He didn't like it at all.
"When I got there, the lunatic was gone. Left her there to bleed out." Lucien continues.
Azriel shakes his head at that. It's been eating him up since he saw you so close to death. Maybe his run in with you had caused this. Maybe he had brought death to your doorstep.
"She's asking for you." Lucien says.
-------
A series of knocks comes from the door. You're not sure who it is. You know who you want it to be. You're just not sure if he'll show up. He hadn't visited these past two days.
You asked for him. Maybe you shouldn't have.
"Come in."
The door opens slowly. And in walks a person you weren't expecting to see. A person you don't know. A tall man with wings, but he's not the one you saved.
"Quite the first impression you made. I'm Cassian." he says.
You laugh lamely, then you introduce yourself, "Can't say I wanna do it again."
He moves further into the room now. He takes note of Felix laying on the corner of the bed.
"He's been looking for you. Since you saved his life." he says.
Without having to ask you know who he's talking about. Who else could it be? But if what he's saying is true, why isn't he here? Why do you not even know his name?
"Why?"
He takes a while to answer. Which throws you odd for a moment there. It's a simple question. Unless he had ulterior motives.
"It'd be best if he explains."
-------
Azriel feels pathetic. Absolutely and utterly pathetic. He's been in combat. He's killed people. And yet he cannot work up the courage to go into your room.
Every time he tries something stops him. His shadows even whisper for him to go. But he goes slack. His hands shake. He feels clammy and his breathing quickens.
He's pathetic!
Azriel turns around, away from your door, and is about to walk away.
Until he hears a door open. His heart skips a beat. He stops in his tracks. He can feel his shadows swirling around him, uncontrollably.
When he doesn't hear anything, he slowly turns around. His eyes find yours. He could fall to his knees right here and now. He gulps and clears his throat.
"Hello." he says in more of a whisper.
You gape at him. You look up at him with your wide eyes. The bandages that cover your wounds make his skin crawl. You were perfectly fine before you met him.
There's a beat of silence and then you say it.
Your name.
And then he does it. He actually falls to his knees. There are two hard knocks on the floor. You watch him as he does, your head moving downward to follow him.
He hangs his head, "I'm so sorry."
"Me too. I wish you had visited me sooner." you speak.
He looks up at you confused. That is not what he was expecting you to say. At his confusion you chuckle lightly. When you do you reach for your chest and hold it, a wince leaving you.
"What's your name?" you ask.
"Azriel."
You hold out your hand for him to take. Like an angel from a story. He takes your hand in his and feels the warmth and that spark again.
-------
The two of you sit in silence on the balcony for a while. It had been like this since he finally spoke to you. It was like there was nothing to say to each other.
But there was.
You wanted to ask about him. You wanted to know about him, and what brought him to your doorstep on the edge of death.
And it's not like he was avoiding you. He found you almost twice a day and sat with you. But never said anything. Never. It was odd to say the least.
You weren't planning on taking up residence here, so you would have to get a move on sometime soon. Majda is coming over later this week to check your wound again before giving you the all clear.
You look over at him. He's sitting with his legs crossed and looking over the view from the house.
"I'm leaving soon." you say.
At that he turns to you. A bit of surprise in his eyes. Not a good surprise but a bad one.
"Oh."
"I don't really fit in here, and I can see your friends overcompensating for me." you explain a bit to him.
He nods his head, "I understand."
"But I would like to see you." you add on.
He goes still at that.
"What?" he asks.
"I would like to see you, Azriel. Outside of this place."
He clears his throat. His eyes darting around and around. He can hear you stifle a laugh, to his benefit he supposes. He sits up and reaches for the metal railing of the balcony.
"I'm the reason you for hurt. You know that, don't you?" he asks.
You shake your head, "No, that child of the blessed or whomever is why I got hurt. And if I could go back in time I'd still help you."
Azriel scoffs, "Even with that scar on your neck now?"
"Even with the scar. I don't care." you answer poorly.
"You should. I only bring disaster and pain."
You think to yourself maybe this is why he doesn't talk to you when he sits here. All that rattles in his head is self deprecation. You don't like hearing it one bit.
"What if you come and see me?" you ask.
Azriel looks at you then. Like you had stumbled upon something new, unheard of. You didn't want to make him uncomfortable or put him on the spot. You had save his life and it seems like he feels indebted to you.
You wish you could tell him that saving his life wasn't a transactional experience. That you didn't need anything from him for it. So maybe the best way to do that is to give him the decision.
Without wasting another second you shrug off the knitted cardigan off your body. You hold it out for him to take. He looks down at the piece of fabric, unmoving.
"You can use it to find me." you speak.
He looks up at you, "Are you sure?"
"Whenever your'e ready to find me Azriel. I'll be there."
-------
The cabin is pretty big. Bigger than what your'e used to. But you couldn't turn down the offer from Rhys. You half heartedly expect that there is more to it.
With the way they all looked at you as you left a few days ago. It felt weird. Like they knew something that you didn't. Something that had to do with you and Azriel, who curiously didn't see you off.
It did sting. He was the only one of them that you sort of knew. The only one you had a real connection with. But you guessed that he didn't feel the need to say goodbye to you. So you tried to push it down deep inside of you and no let it consume you.
Which is why you're decorating the cabin. Lucien dropped off all of your things from the other place. The place where you almost died. He did a good job at cleaning up things too.
Well, almost. An old blanket had a bit of blood on it. You hold it up to inspect it a bit more.
Before you can harp on it for too long, Felix comes in-between your legs. You look down at him with a smile.
"I'll be fine. Just thinking." you say.
Felix moves from your legs and over to the door. You think to yourself he may want to get some fresh air. You walk over to the door and open it so that he can run free for a bit.
What you weren't expecting was the basket. Sitting on the porch of the cabin is a huge wicker basket. Filled with things. You kneel down and look it over. Candles. A blanket. Some clothes. Trinkets. House stuff.
A letter.
Your fingers pluck the paper from the basket. No name. You turn it over to the back to be sure of it. Then you open the folded letter to unveil very neat handwriting.
Your name is at the top.
It's been a few days since you left. I am sorry for not saying goodbye with the others. I wanted to but I felt wrong doing so. I still feel at fault for your being hurt and on death's doorstep.
I know you won't hear it, but I am sorry again. You can't begin to understand how much.
The basket is supposed to be filled with things you need. Although I admit I didn't partake in much of the buying and had help from some of the inner circle.
If any of it displeases you, please throw it away. I thought it would be a gesture of something. I'm not sure what.
I realize now what you were trying to do when you gave me your sweater. I do want to see you. But there are things I need to figure out before I do. I wish to have more answers than questions for you.
But I promise I will come visit you.
Hope to see you soon,
Azriel
You bring your hand up to your mouth in a gasp. The letter is sweet and really thoughtful. You're glad that he doesn't feel like you pushed him into anything he didn't want to do.
With bated breath you get stand up straight again. Felix coming between your legs once more.
"You knew I had something waiting for me on my doorstep, didn't you?" you ask.
The cat just looks up at you, unimpressed.
-------
The nightmare isn't too bad. Not that you think. Even trying to recall it is difficult. When your eyes were closed you could swear the images were vivid and real.
But as you start to wake, your mind reveals the truth to you.
There is no unknown person your house trying to kill you. There is just silence. You sit up a bit out of breath and look around. The darkness of the room doesn't help to ease your mind.
But you can see Felix at the edge of your bed. If he is sleeping, then everything is okay. He could sense danger from a mile away and would let you know.
It's why you think that Child of the Blessed didn't do any worse damage. Felix had remained at your side through the whole visit and launched at them when they attacked you.
You reach up to touch the wound on your neck. Not yet a scar but somehow not fresh anymore. Funny. Every morning you wake up and you feel it weighing on you.
It isn't morning yet. The dark blue sky and the moonlight that peeks out of the window tells you as much. So you put your head back down on your pillow and shut your eyes again.
What you don't know is that there is no need to worry about your safety. In addition to Felix that sleeps at your feet, facing the bedroom door, there is another living thing keeping you company.
Azriel stood guard on your front door. Dress in his usual black leathers and his arms crossed over his chest. His eyes focused on anything in the distance that could be coming your way. And his ears focused on your breathing that evens out as you fall back to sleep.
For now, this is what he'll take. Being separated from you by two doors. You not knowing that he's here. Even though he does want to see you. He wants it badly.
But his guilt eats at him most nights. He thinks this is why he's able to feel your nightmares in the pit of his belly. They wake him with a jolt and he comes over to watch over your cabin for a few hours. Ever since you left.
One day he'll have the courage to tell you he's here. One day.
Not tonight.

Helloo could I ever so sweetly make a request for either a choso or nanami smut where reader is really "close" a she like pierces the skin to where the have a deepish scratch on their back and it's like bleeding and reader feel all guilty and stuff but they comfort her after cleaning up and then they either go to bed or watch a movie together??? Please 😚
Just a cat scratch
Tags: Choso x fem!Reader, established relationship, smut, nsfw, mdni
An: Thank you for the idea. I think this is such a cute premise <3

“O-oh fuck..” You pant out as you feel your hips getting roughly pummeled back onto the bed. “Just like that… ah~ I’m so c-close..” You manage to choke out as you’re right on the cusp of a life changing orgasm.
Choso looooves hearing those words from you. His eyes light up just a bit, and he fights the urge not to just immediately start pounding himself into you out of pure excitement. You’ve taught him well — keep the same pacing and you’ll finish rather quickly.
You’re right on the edge. Things are getting messy and quickly too. A thin sheen of sweat covers yours and Choso’s body. His long black hair is starting to stick just a bit to his forehead. A mixture of your fluids and his cum were squelching and splattering between you two.
He’s already came twice tonight, but he’s already getting close to his third orgasm. Choso’s just so sensitive when it comes to your pretty pussy. You were his first, and he’s still learning about sex. Cut him some slack!!
“F-feels so good, Cho…” You whimper as your nails dig into his back. “Harder.. please- I..” You can’t even get your words out. Your hand is gripping onto him tightly, inadvertently burrowing your nails into his skin.
Choso moans as he feels your nails in his back. The small twinges of pain do nothing but make his cock throb inside you. Seeing you so needy for release has his brain so fogged that he can’t think of anything else besides giving you what you asked for.
His large hands wrap around your waist, and he roughly slams into you just like you asked him too. He uses his grip on you to pull you down with each brutal movement.
The bed creaks and wails underneath yours and his movements. The headboard knocks against the wall. Choso’s groaning and whimpering all at the same time. It’s abundantly clear that he’s getting closer to the edge each time his swollen tip kisses pre-cum onto your cervix.
White hot pleasure shoots through you as the world around you goes blurry. Your nails drag down his back as you feel your cunt squeezing around him, milking him for all he’s worth. Your cries of pleasure go straight to his cock, which is spilling inside of you from watching you finish so heavenly on him.
“Good boy…” You weakly purr as you go to rub his back. Choso needs a bit of praise every time you two have sex because he wants to make it as good as possible for you. He needs to know that he’s doing a good job or else he’ll just keep trying to fuck into you until he’s shooting blanks.
You feel a warm liquid on your fingers, and you assume it’s a bit of sweat. “Did so good, Cho. Did you have fun?” You ask as you slowly pull your hand back. The bright red liquid on your fingertips immediately catches your eye.
“Shit- what happened?” You quickly ask before Choso can answer your first question.
“Hm? What are you talking about?” He asks in a dreamy tone as he’s still trying to catch his breath. His cock is still buried inside you, twitching from how sensitive he is.
He leans his head up, and he sees the blood on your fingers. He then reaches behind him, and he feels his blood slowly trickling down his back. “Ah.. you got me good that time, baby..” He mumbles with a slight smile.
“Cho- I’m so fucking sorry.. I didn’t mean to.” You immediately apologize with a frown as you lean up and wrap your arms around his neck. You can feel that familiar tight feeling in your throat as tears brim your eyes.
“Hey.. hey.. it’s alright.” His voice is soft and tender as he wraps you up in his arms. “It doesn’t hurt. I promise. Barely feels like a cat scratch.”
You stay silent as you continue to bury your face into his chest. Maybe it’s because you two just got done with an intense sexual encounter, but you just feel so vulnerable. All he wants to do is please you, and all you do is hurt him.
“Baby.. talk to me. I promise it’s okay. It felt good in the moment.” He assures you as he presses chaste kisses into your cheek.
“You promise?” You ask softly as you stay snuggled up into him.
“I promise. It felt so good watching you become unraveled beneath me, just diminished down to primal desires.” His voice is low, and his warm breath brushes against the shell of your ear.
“Cho~” You playfully whine as you gently nudge him away.
“Can’t help it, baby. It’s the truth.” He smiles as he presses another kiss to your forehead. “Let’s go get cleaned up, yeah?”
Choso slowly eases out of you with a small hiss before he helps you up from the bed. He picks up the towels you two laid down before you got started (things get too messy to fuck on the sheets), and he tosses it in the dirty clothes hamper.
The two of you walk into the bathroom, and you get to work cleaning up his back for him. Luckily for you two, his cursed technique stopped the bleeding as soon as you noticed it. Still, you cleaned the dried blood off his skin, and you gave him a hello kitty bandaid to put over the cut on his back.
While you work, Choso sits on the closed toilet seat backwards. His eyes are closed, and he has a fond smile on his face. In his mind, everything has went perfect today. He got to make his pretty girl finish, she gave him all sorts of marks on his back, and now, she’s taking good care of him. What more could a man want?
“All done.” You smile before pressing a small kiss to the bandaid. His back is littered with bright red and pink scratch marks, but only one of them when deep enough to make him bleed.
“Perfect. Thank you, doctor.” He smiles softly at you before taking your hand and pressing a kiss to each one of your knuckles. His pretty eyes are fluttered up, looking at you with each kiss. “Let’s go watch one of your favorite movies, and maybe we can get some takeout too.” He offers before standing up to hug you. He’s always so clingy after sex (and before sex.. and during sex…).
“I love you so much, Cho. I’m sorry I scratched you that bad.”
“I love you more, baby. Stop apologizing. I promise it’s okay.” He holds you tightly in his arms, gently swaying your bodies from side to side as he thinks about how your nails felt digging into his skin. Your face was so blissed out when you were holding onto him for dear life. All that just from him pumping in and out of you…. aaanndd he’s hard again :(

Prologue | Next Chapter Chapter One : Second Chances
The clatter of pots and pans — and the crick in his neck — wakes Oscar up. He still feels the remnants of jet lag in his bones as he peers over the alarm at his bedside. 8:30 am. It's too early for this. He groans as he buries his face on the pillows. “Oscar, I’m heading to the market, Hattie’s off to see some friends. And Edie might come by this afternoon to pack her stuff for summer camp. There’s eggs on the table–don't let Kai nip it and I love you and Oh! Walk the dog before I come back okay.” his mum Nicole says, as she walks over his room and kisses his hair, he limply nods while still buried in his sheets. She chuckles as she pulls away, leaving him in his room alone. Oscar sighs as he silently soaks the warmth of the sun seeping in from the windows, then he drags his palm towards his stomach. For a bit he could hear his mother still loitering around the kitchen and at the same time his stomach rumbles. Hunger. He almost forgot he didn’t eat anything yesterday.
Then a sound of something spilling and breaking could be heard downstairs. “Basil! No! Ah– Oscar, come wipe the floor on your way down, Basil knocked something over again.” His mum yells downstairs then finally, silence. He was left alone in their house. Eventually, Oscar drags himself to the kitchen and eats toast and eggs at the counter. He takes generous bites of the toast and eggs. The taste of rich umami and bitter taste of the vegemite on his tongue as he chews diligently. He pulls the plate close as his phone buzzes against his shorts. [Lando N. is calling] Lando’s cheery voice greets him. “Mate, I’m setting you up on a date.” Oscar frowns at his words. “What? No, sorry, I can't do that–” he says as he wipes his mouth with the back of his hands and leans on the counter. Meanwhile in Monaco Lando frowns and makes a face in disbelief. “Why, what do you mean? Don’t say no, this girl is–like really fit as well. Blonde, blue eyes, pretty teeth–”
Oscar rolls his eyes as Lando begins to listing some qualities he discovered with this girl. He then says “Yea, I’m pretty sure if she’s that fit to you might as well, you should date her. And I can’t go to that date because I went home to Australia.” Lando sighs but then perks up “You know what, that's a pretty good idea. Maybe I will go on that date with her– might even get laid unlike–”A loud thump could be heard downstairs and an equally in pain moaning was what alerted Oscar to his surroundings. The cat Kai was then heard yowling at the stairs as it zooms to the scene. “What was that?” Lando promptly comments as they hear the sound.
“Gah! What the hell?!” Edie cries.
“Yeah, mate, I might need to call you back.” Oscar says as he rushes to where the sound is sourced. He’s greeted by a bloody sight — Edie, red-faced and cursing through clenched teeth. And when he inspects her leg it looked broken. The leg looked wrong, bent at an angle, the bone almost breaking through the skin and her elbows were bleeding from the unpicked glass shards from that vase Basil knocked over. “Alright I need to get you to the ER.” Oscar mutters under his breath. “No heck no I’m not letting you drive–GAH! Drive me to the ER you’ll move my fucking Bones You twat!” Edie groans and Oscar frowns as he reaches for his phone to call an ambulance. ___ Eventually a few minutes later an ambulance arrives as they hoist Edie to a stretcher and they send her to the ER. *****
“You will be close to her eventually, I promise you just need a little push with her… You know, quality time. She’s just adjusting to having a sister… It’s just you were never really—” My mum says through the phone. I sigh, my scrubs suddenly feeling tight and suffocating. “I know mum. I promise, I’ll be there and watch over her. I gotta go there’s a patient coming, bye.” I ended the call. The silence deafening in the storage room as I heave a sigh and rub my chest. It felt suffocating, the silence knowing the consequences of getting this job was to be away with my family and the load of this in general. I felt cold sweat behind my neck and the stuttering of my breath making my head spin a little. It's making me slightly nauseous and there was a slight tremor in my hands. “Deep breaths. Pull yourself together,” I mutter, popping a pineapple candy into my mouth. I counted to ten and sighed. Pick myself up. Dust yourself off. Keep going. As I opened the door the loud background noise of the ER could be heard. The beeping of machines, coughing, voices overlapping each other without overtly being obnoxiously loud. I come to the Nurses station as I greet the Chief nurse. “Finished your breakdown, Pineapple?” Dana says as she hands me my tumbler of water motherly forcing me to drink from it as I sighed to take it. I wince at the given nickname of the sweet I’m chewing. “Is it obvious?” I ask as she just nods empathically causing me to let out a grimace as she shakes her head saying it's absolutely okay to break down in the middle of shift.
“My mum is signing me up as a camp counselor for Anita–my little sister's summer camp. Saying that it could help me bond with her or something like that.” I say as I look over the monitor of the patient statuses. “Your mum is a genius, that will be good for the both of you, maybe you’ll learn something about each other in summer camp. I know it will all work out eventually.” She says as she looks over the monitor. I nod thinking about what she said. Then I look at the monitor for a case I can pick. “You can have this one Pineapple, an easy Leg Injury coming in T-minus 5 minutes heading this way via ambulance.” Dana says as I nod. Then eventually the doors opened and a new patient was rolled in.
The EMT gave me a nod, and I immediately stepped in to help transfer the patient. __ As the ER doors slid open, the paramedics wheeled Edie in on a stretcher. She was biting her lip hard, eyes rimmed with tears but still glaring daggers at anyone who looked at her too long.
The EMT walked alongside the gurney, speaking quickly but clearly to the trauma team.
“Nineteen-year-old female, conscious and alert. Slipped on a wet floor — compound fracture to the right fibula, multiple cuts from broken glass. No head trauma. Bleeding controlled. Vitals stable en route. No analgesics given yet.”
___ I nodded and moved to assess her while the nurses reached for saline and trauma shears.
“Oh—Edie. This is an unfortunate way to see you again,” I said with a small smile. “Hi, sweetheart. I’m going to cut open your pants so I can check your leg, okay? It’s going to hurt a bit with the movement, but we’ll take care of you.”
As I examined the injury, I could see signs of the fibula pressing against the skin — thankfully not an open break, but close.
“Okay, alright?” I said gently, glancing at Edie while my hands worked and the rest of the staff moved around us. Edie nods. ___ Oscar trails behind, knuckles white, still holding her phone and her bloodied shoe. A nurse had asked him to wait in the reception area while they took Edie in.
“Guardian for Edie Piastri?” a soft voice asks.
Oscar looks up—only to be met with a pair of familiar eyes that stop him in his tracks. ***
“Oh. Oscar, it’s you—” you blink, then quickly try to recover. “Uh... your sister’s doing okay. We sent her for a CT scan, just in case, but thankfully everything came back clear. She's heading into surgery now for the leg fracture. She'll probably need a cast, but she’s stable and in good hands.”
You give him a small, reassuring smile. “She was swearing up a storm, so I’d say that’s a good sign.”
He still looks the same — except less like the lanky kid I used to have a crush on, and more like the polished, grown-up version of him. Handsome haircut. Broad shoulders. Defined arms.
Hot as hell, in short.
“Thanks,” he says softly, voice edged with relief and worry. After a beat, he adds, “I didn’t expect to see you here.” “Oh—is it because of…? No, I came home about five months ago. I needed a break from American air or something like that,” I shrug “So now I am here working at my Uncle’s Hospital…” I say as I let the words sink in. It wasn’t half the truth and It wasn’t half a lie either.
I watch as Oscar lets a soft nod. “How are you, Mr. World champion? Representing down under.” I tease with a cheeky grin as Oscar shyly chuckles and I watch as his ears and cheek turn a pretty shade of pink. “Oh uhm jesus, it's nothing but yeah thanks.” He stammers as he scratches his nose as he shyly denies his success. “Oscar, what do you mean it’s nothing? You’ve been literally racing since you’ve been eight years old, don’t be humble about that, be proud!” I exclaim as he nods, refusing to meet my eyes a little. “How are you?” Oscar asks as he meets my eyes.
God he’s still so cute. Look at his bunny teeth. “I’m good. Single, breathing. And well, saving lives.” I say, chuckling at that Oscar perks up a little causing me to smile. “We should catch up… if you want. Or, like—if you’d like to.” Oscar says then he coughs as standing up a bit straighter.
I felt my face warming up as I then nod but wince as my phone rings. “Yea sure text me or whatever. Gotta go–” I say as I sprint to the halls.
____ I feel incredibly guilty for procrastinating on cleaning the mess in the living room late, causing Edie to fall and break a couple bones. I thought to myself, and also that I’m stupid for not giving out my phone number or asking for her instagram so I can meet up with the girl I may have possibly had a crush on since karting days.
But that's enough stupid for today. As I watch Hattie and Mum come into Edie's hospital room.
“Oh my god Edie…” Mum cries as she watches Edie chuckle at their mother.
“Can I sign it?” Hattie grins, already digging for a pen. “Oscar, what have I told you about being lazy? Now look at what happened to your sister.” Nicole berrates as Edie grimaces.
“She now has a cool cast? I mean you did say she’s coming this afternoon its technically morning” Oscar says with a grimace. As his mother shoots daggers at her son. “Mum, it's alright mum, he already apologized while waiting for the ambulance,” Edie says.
“Though I don’t know how you’re gonna apologize to the little ones waiting at camp tho–” Eddie says as she frowns about that thought. “What do you mean?” Oscar asks. “Camp Wickham, you know your summer camp back then when you were little. She’s been a counselor there for almost two years now.” Nicole answers as she adjusts Edie’s pillow.
Oscar frowns at that, opening his mouth ready to apologize again when Hattie interjects. “You know what would be fun? Oscar should sub in for Edie.”
Nicole and Edie look at each other and raise their brows. While Hattie scribbles her name on her sister’s leg.
“What no? I don’t even have experience.” Oscar rebuts when Edie smiles and says, “They have a workshop for a day before the camp starts every year for the new counselors.” and Oscars brows furrow. “But I have to go–” Oscar objects when Edie immediately adds. “Come on Osc think about the children, and this could be like an apology. Don’t worry about the to-do lists and the kids' requests. I can literally make you one right now. And it would be cool to have a race car driver as a counselor.” She happily says as Hattie chuckles.
“I really don’t have a say at this do I?” Oscar sighs as the three women simultaneously say.
“Nope.” He slumps back into the chair, defeated. “Fine. But someone else is doing the glitter glue.” ---- Next Chapter.
