There are a LOT of strong feelings all around, but we're going to focus on Black Arachnia for this post :3
Her feelings were so strong that she joined the Decepticons.
So she sees Sentinel and Optimus, idk how or where or why yet, but she does. She seems them and at first doesn't notice the details.
All she sees is the bots who left her to die.
She seems them alive and happy, Optimus has a teasing smile on his face and Sentinel is shoving him, they're at that point in their semi-mended relationship.
Black Arachnia is filled with terror and fear. Bc she thought she was over her trauma. She moved past it.
But trauma has that funny thing of coming back at the least expected opportunity, at thw worst times, and in different ways. First thing she does is hide for a while. Then she stalks them. Forcing herself past her terror and straight into rage.
They left her to die. They didn't come back for her.
Somehow they manage to talk civilly about it. Sorta. Sentinel is probably non-verbal from his trauma response and Optimus uses his learned unhealthy methods of pushing past it all.
Reconciliation between all three is not going to be pretty, or happen quickly bc both Black Arachnia and Sentinel are prickly and full of self loathing (along with Optimus but he keeps his internal at All Times And Then He Will Die) and but heads.
But i think BA is smart enough in the beginning, after she tries to kill them or get revenge or some thing, to see that lofe hasn't been so great for them either. They left the relative safety of the Autobots and the comforts of Cybertron. Their paint is scratched and faded, there's some almost hidden crappy welds scattered from when Optimus couldn't leave well enough alone and started fights. They probably haven't been getting enough energon.
She finds that she... Almost pities them. At least she has a cause, a group to retreat to even if they also wouldn't come after her if she needed help.
But she's clean and healthy with access to resources. And she's not their friend.
Meaning she would absolutely sell them out to Megatron if and when she finds out about the Allspark.

south africa was banned in the olympics in 1964, 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988 & 1992. a total of 8 times. for 28 years they didn't set foot in the olympics. you know why? apartheid. apparently the olympics disagreed with the apartheid regime in south africa. russia & belarus aren't allowed to take part in the olympics this year. you know why? because of their involvement in the war in ukraine. several countries throughout history haven't been allowed to participate in the olympics because of various reason from their involvement in war to human rights abuses. now if the olympics aren't blind to all that... why in the world are they blind to what israel has been doing to gaza for the past 10 months? why is a genocidal apartheid nation allowed to participate in the olympics when any other country in its place would've been banned?

guys i actually beg of you to not let palestine become an unpleasant flashback, a transient tumblr trend, a hasbeen subject that just faded away. as an arab—and specifically iraqi—girl, i know what it feels like to have family displaced all over the world as a result of western imperialism. i know what it feels like to not be able to step foot into your homeland because it’s no longer safe. as an american iraqi, raised in the us and insulated from my roots, it wasn’t until last summer that i was able to visit iraq for the first time, and even then my family was worried for my safety—in my own blood country. although nothing like what palestinians are experiencing right now, it might be the tiniest semblance of what it feels like to watch your country disintegrate in front of you.
and this is a universal arab experience. i volunteer weekly at a refugee center that serves middle eastern refugees, and every day i see the longing in their eyes when they speak of where they hail from. it’s safe to say that we will be getting a wave of palestinian refugees very soon: just another generation of arabs who can’t inhabit their own country.
arab culture is so rich, so profound, so beautiful. i am tired of being told by the world—through literal genocide—that it doesn’t mean anything. please never let this be forgotten. free palestine. free palestine. free palestine.

not to sound like a boomer, but I need some people to learn how to write emails in a semi-professional (at the very least) format so you're not cold emailing a business/potential employer/any other stranger about formal matters in the exact same way you'd DM a close friend on instagram
the formality/language can loosen up in the email chain once you've established a rapport and you match the other person if they're being less formal, but please don't have the very first email you send a stranger be written in all lowercase ultra-casual sms slang with no greeting or signature and a billion emojis

the mortifying ordeal of being known
--
I think with Yor being so perceptive, she picks up on little things often (like we saw in ch 103). i believe this would impact loid more so than the usual person, because he is a spy and fakes every part of himself, so to be seen is simultaneously desirable and horrifying. like, it makes him torn between wanting to accept and reciprocate the love, or distancing himself so that it doesn't happen again.
thats mostly what the last panel is about, that dichotomy between 'omg this person noticed this about me, is this love' and 'oh shit this person noticed this about me, is this Doom'
just some thoughts i had🤪

Every batkid has their patented “fuck, Bruce was right” face. Their expression twists for just a second, God forbid Bruce sees, but it does hurt their ego. In fact, it hurts their ego so deeply that they think about this moment all day. And maybe the day after, but they won't admit it under threat of death. Because there is nothing worse for a child than realizing that your old man who doesn't know shit about life actually knows shit about life. So embarrassing.
