yeah!!!! pre curve my exams are like....lower 90s but then the prof curves, so I've got a 100 on both of them. which also means I've got the the highest grade pre-curve on both <3 like I said, orgo is my bitch and I am god. also I find the mechanisms and retrosynthetic analysis really fun lol they're little logic puzzles! like a math proof but with fun little lines!

Ah orgo. The class that separates the chemists from everyone else (not that chemists are better, but it takes a certain type of person to enjoy it). You either love it or hate it. A beautiful merger of mentally visualizing 3D objects, memorization, and math. Almost as much a language course as a science course. Also the last 1000 person course in the chemistry curriculum because after that the pre meds are set free.

But for those special few who decide they want to keep going a greater fear awaits. Inorganic.

oh my god i COULD write a league college au now that i am Of Age

so first of all dabi is a mechanical engineering major who works in a combustion lab and hawks is an aerodynamics engineer and they fight for the comfiest couch in the engineering library and end up falling asleep on each other because neither wanted to yield their spot

and uh oh why does dabi look kinda cute when he's asleep and why does hawks look better when he's not acting like the smartass he is

alternatively dabi is a med student and endeavor is like "dabi you NEED to be a doctor like me" and dabi is dying from organic chem

the league 100% would be the type of assholes to hide pencils around the dorm basement at 3 am and loudly fight each other to find them (because that is what Ghost Boy's friend group was doing when i said they were playing tag)

tomura is cs + game design major, toga is public health major, spinner is sociology, twice is personality psychology major, magne is physics, geten is chemistry, skeptic is electrical engineering, giran is an advisor for the business department

sako is dabi's tired combustion lab supervisor and linguistics minor and kurogiri is the bartender at the bar they all frequent + a phD student in meteorology, ujiko is the professor of mortuary science

Teendad!Bruce is a part time pre-med student while also being Batman, working at WE, and taking care of one to four tiny children. Needless to say, he struggles with his classes. Regardless of how smart he is or how little sleep he needs, that's just more than a human being is capable of keeping up with.

The previous semester, he took three classes, including organic chemistry. He passed two of the classes, but a Batman crisis popped up during finals week, and he ended up failing orgo, so he needs to retake it.

Despite failing, he gets into a good study group with some really talented students, including the top student in the class, aspiring botanist Pamela Isley.

He knows that's Poison Ivy. She has no clue that's Batman. The study group is surprisingly cordial.

The kiddos crash the study group sometimes, and everyone has to coo over them before any work can get done.

As Bruce takes responsibility for a growing number of children, the study group slowly devolves from "let's all learn together" to "let's make sure this one overworked dad manages to pass."

They take turns babysitting Bruce's kids, so he can get work done. This includes Ivy, who teaches them about the plants she takes care of. Dick is convinced that this is a Robin-mission to collect intel about Ivy's work, but Bruce really just thinks Poison Ivy is one of the few people who could keep track of all of his gremlins. Plus, connecting with nature is good for the kids. He's pretty certain she won't hurt random kids who haven't done anything wrong even though she has a habit of blowing up factories full of workers. She's not *that* brand of evil.

classes are over! just two more papers to write and then i'll be able to officially wrap up the term.

the paper i'm analyzing for my nanochem final project is taking me on a wild detour into lanthanide chemistry, so i'll be spending the morning going down that rabbit hole until i understand the basics. it's a bit out of my biochem/orgo comfort zone and the tequila hangover isn't helping but i'm always excited to learn some new science.

Buy more cute Aerie bralettes + give ur hair a diminutive cut + stay off ur phone all morning + get in multiple orgo research publications + experiment w more hairstyles + learn more recipes (all whole foods!) + make pretty fits ur default setting + volunteer more + stick religiously to ur calendar + go to 5 am corepower classes + go on dawn runs + have hours of studying done by noon + read more books recreationally without feeling guilt + force a friend to bike w u through iridescent park trails + be at the neuro clinic more often + indulge ur far-fetched dreams but temper them w realism & maybe u will finally feel the spirit of spring
