❥ my review:

this is the first fic that i ever sat in my bed reading and sobbing in the early hours of the morning. it was also my first mxm fic, and it is the blueprint for my desire to write yearning the way that i do. i think it is safe to say this fic has inspired me so much.

from how real the characters feel, to living inside Yoongi's overthinking little head...ugh. i visit this fic from time to time when i need to feel my feelings. and even tho i know what is coming, i always tear up.

my only regret is that this fic has been orphaned, so i cannot pour my heart and soul out to the author. i think about this fic often and i would love to tell them how much they have inspired me. i hope that wherever they are, they are having a good life.

The jump from stealing phones and breaking and entering to actual, literal black magic is easier to take than Marinette would have expected. The love spell Alya found should have solved all of her problems, but Adrien is away at a week long photo shoot, and Marinette's true love wears a lot more leather than she was expecting.

As always dubious morality stands no chance against the goal of winning Adrien’s affections. ⚠️spoilers⚠️ I really liked at the end how when the spell wore off even though Adrien did still have a minor crush on Marinette it wasn’t ‘I was always in love with you and the spell didn’t do anything’ but more ‘I know I have some feelings for you and I’m willing to work towards something more if you’re willing’. Idk I just like that a lot more.
