Listen. Dean is a known fanboy. We have doctor sexy as proof. You think meeting a rockstar he listened to as a lonely queer kid from nowhere Kansas would make him act NORMAL? Absolutely not. He's deranged.

Sam knows about Dean's...thing for Eddie Munson, rockstar and queer icon. He's not sure about details, as Munson is notorious for being private and the only thing people really know is that he's been in a long term relationship with a man since the 80's and obsessed with the guy. And Dean is...weird about it. Not, like, homophobic. But weird. Off. A little too intense.

So when they end up at what is supposed to be the local monster protector's house and Dean basically trips over himself when the aging rockstar answers the door, and Eddie kisses Steve, Sam's instincts are on full alert and he's going to make it Dean's problem. After they get the info they came for, of course.

"so!" He says, smiling as only a little sibling who's about to Start Shit can, when Steve has taken their empty mugs to the kitchen and offered lemon squares. "When your second album came out Dean refused to listen to anything else for, what, a month?" Dean glares at him.

Sequoia National Park in California, USA was incredible to visit, the trees are absolutely gigantic, as below (x)

after some experimentation, i've found that "clean-shaven and hair hidden under a beanie" gets me gendered as male way more reliably than "hair loose, full moustache". no idea why long hair provokes such a strong "that's a girl" reaction, but there we go.

btwn 10 & 20k is the sweet spot for my attention span, but i do love when a fic is over 60k even if the stars have to align for me to finish it. i used to be a lot less discerning but the past couple years when browsing AO3 anything under 5k has gotta really grab me for me to open it. i need to read more published fiction really

I personally see them more as besties but i think they'd make a very sweet couple. Just 2 old souls getting some time for themselves free of their responsibilities. So lilypad doodles for the soul :)
