Wow, I just realized how long its been since I last talked about my kins... Whoops.

Anyways I’m gonna chat about a kinda not so new kinsona I have that originated (design wise) from a shipping grid result.

Their name is Distortion, and they’re a Mangle kinsona. I didn’t design them and the original designer is on toyhouse with the username of DatAssIsGrass.

Distortion was Mangle and existed with that name in the FNAF 2 Freddy’s restaurant, however when all the toys were scrapped for parts they were left in backrooms/factory areas for the animatronics for in case they’d ever get used again. Years of being left in storage, watching their metal body rust, their circuits rot, and their eyes slowly stop working they eventually saw employees of Fazbear Ent. enter the storage and take Distortion out.

Months or replacing parts, rewiring, and adding new items to their outer shell they were finally ready to be properly tested before being added to the Pizzaplex as a new, smaller, attraction for those who would have remembered them originally and wanted to see them like people can Freddy and Chica (and Bonnie). The only thing that seemed impossible to fix was their voice-box, even when putting a completely new one in it still acted as though it were broken and only static could come out. Due to this persistent issue employees stopped calling them Glamrock Mangle, and started calling them Glamrock Distortion.

Distortion was reprogrammed to greet children and parents when they saw them and take pictures, they would have stuck to the Fazbear museum in Rockstar Row. They had done this, but not for long. The night Bonnie had disappeared Distortion was seen trying to keep him from going somewhere, the cameras could see them trying to pull Bonnie away from Gator Golf, but that proved to be fruitless. After that Distortion stuck to places like the Arcade in the upper floors and the daycare, not wanting to be anywhere where another animatronic wasn’t or anywhere where they could be snatched up for reprogramming/once again getting scrapped.

Distortion didn’t know what was going on, they just saw Bonnie acting weird and tried helping him. They had told Freddy, but by the time he could do anything Bonnie was gone, assumed to be destroyed somewhere.

Distortion stayed completely away from Rockstar row during the remodel of Monty’s new room. Similar to Monty, Distortion ended up going to the theatre basement/storage area and getting aggressive with whatever they could grab. They were upset with themself for letting Bonnie disappear, and not being able to find him. Moon checked on them once... then quickly and silently left. Sun decided not to visit until there was silence, which took a while.

Practically every animatronic checked up on Distortion, but most left after saying it was okay/ no one could’ve done anything/they were here for Distortion. Monty and Moon were the only ones who didn’t, instead Monty got Distortion to start fighting him instead of the walls and storage items and Moon offered therapy.

By the time Monty’s room was finished Distortion was at the very least emotionally stable, however they now had black lines coming down from their eyes to the bottom of their chin from crying and busting their body up by hitting themself into walls (before Monty helped). The stuff coming from their eyes still gushes out at times, no mater how hard the robotics team try cleaning it/fixing the internal parts causing the leak.

Due to all of the damage they had put themself through Fazbear Ent. made it to where Distortion required at least 2 employees to follow them around wherever they managed to go, even the back areas. With this info in mind Distortion stuck to well populated areas and places the employees weren’t outright uncomfortable with.

Unlike the other animatronics, Distortion doesn’t have an upgrade, rather it’s almost like a downgrade. You see to cement the fact that they are in fact Mangle made into a Glamrock the company made it to where they could shift their body from full husk to endo parts (besides the head, tail, and paws). They were able to extend these newly revealed limbs a small bit, about half as long as normal, except for the neck area that could extend 3 times as long as it was naturally. Distortion was initially able to crawl across the ceiling of the Pizzaplex allowing guests to get fun and interesting photos and experiences,

After Bonnie’s disappearance they used this ability to get into Sun and Moon’s room without opening the painting entrance. The room became a safespace for them, a sanctuary where no one could get them or even think to look for them.
