:33 < straining your voice and lead to many vocal problems, (losing your voice is one of them !!) this is coming from an opera singer (yes, they are linked. straining your voice in any kind can damage your vocal cords. please take this advice seriously) pushing/forcing your vocal cords to do things it isnt capable of doing yet can hurt them !! :o((

:33 < instead, please make sure that you are doing vocal warm ups !! just like sports, if youre doing sports, eg football, dance, quads, you need to stretch !! otherwise youcould pull a muscle !! singing and sports are actually quite similar when it comes to this ^_^ literally any youtube vocal warm up works, i recommend "10 minute vocal warm up" by jacobs vocal academy its not like a really hard warm up, ive used it before, its a nice, quick and easy 10 minute warm up which should leave your voice fresh and ready to use !! ^_^

:33 < also, afterwards, when you start doing the vocals, start up with some easier ones, then slowly overtime build up your voice. its better to slowly build up your voice without any pain/loosing your voice than rushing into it and forcing your voice to do things it isnt capable of soing. start off with some vocals youcan do, then do some that you maybe havent done before/some that are SLIGHTLY harder than you usually do, and if your voice is hurting, take a break and drink water, maybe later on do some easier vocals, and take time to improve. theres no need to rush into it ^_^ :o))
