Im just going to be doing this third installment for the rest of the most memorable demons (minus Rui's siblings, Spider Mother, Rui himself, Nezuko, Daki, and Genya again for VERY obvious reasons) on who I think is the best and worst dads/moms. No real order this time tho.

MUZAN:

-He would be a mixed up bag of good and bad traits tbh. When you first told him he flat out told you to stop teasing him. "Stop your childish games. It's a waste of time." You legit have to go get Kokushibo and have him look over your form through the transparent world and have him confirm to Muzan that you were indeed NOT lying or trying to prank him for Muzan to believe you.

-He's oddly silent for a long moment after just staring at you for a long while before going "Oh...Well this is a surprising turn of events."

-He can absolutely act like he's invested in his child and loves them. He's an asshole but a very convincing one to where even you couldn't tell if he was genuine or not. How he is towards the child is a mixed bag in of itself. He doesn't treat the child with harm or too much aggression. If anything he's actually more curious about seeing what a demon-human hybrid could accomplish.

-Look. Your child is either fully demon or fully human with your mixed genes. There's no in-between. If it's fully human then he's rather disappointed in the result. In turn he loses a lot of interest in the kid and just allows you to essentially raise them yourself without too much interference. He might change the child into a demon when they get older but overall wouldn't see much point in bothering with the tyke.

-If the child is demon THEN he will have a bigger interest. He's disappointed when you both find out that your child is in fact NOT immune to sunlight but he was already anticipating that anyways. He's very invested in making the perfect heir for himself.

-VERY strict perfectionist. Your child will be very smart, a good fighter, and as dangerous as a lower moon by the time they're eight because of their father's teachings. But at what costs?

-You wouldn't get to have a say in much of anything in their raising then.

-He plans out their schedule every day AND night for everything: Education, training, discipline, sleep, times they are to eat and who they interact with and when- He has very strict rules and if they aren't followed then they're training time is much more harsher. By default he also plans yours as the child's mother.

4½/10 Only because of the mixed bag of parenting style otherwise I'd score him much lower however an in between seems about right.

SPIDER FATHER:

-He's a good dad in Rui's opinion to Rui but no one else and honestly I hate how he treats practically everyone else.

0/10 for obvious reasons

YUSHIRO:

-Honestly not as bad of a father as one might assume. Whether the baby is between himself and Tamayo or himself and Y/n doesn't matter. He loves them all the same. Doesn't even care if they're human, demon, or a hybrid.

-Was shocked but not too shocked by the news of becoming a father, but it did take him a whole ass week to really come to terms with it.

-He's very skilled in medicine being Tamayo's assistant so he's able to help a lot with the baby's mother's pregnancy. Tonics to help her sore throat after they vomit, cures for aches and pains especially with swollen ankles, check ups to make sure baby's healthy. He's VERY attentive to his partner and their mental, physical, and emotional needs. Doesn't mean he's not a nervous wreck tho.

-Despite already knowing medical procedures including the birth, he still researches LOTS. Best educational toys, best fabrics to lessen the irritation of the baby's sensitive skin, etc- This man goes above and beyond so much it worries the mother. Tamayo has to get involved in order for him to be convinced to calm down.

-Is literally a nervous wreck when his child is born. Messy hair, bags under his eyes, nervous pacing- He doesn't faint but for a long while after the baby's born he'll just sit down and stare at the closest wall blankly and silently- "Yushiro, are you alright?" "Oh yes. Perfectly fine." "Then why are you just sitting there?" "Just...having a moment, Dear." Give him a moment. His brain is still processing the chubby sleeping mass in his arms after so long.

-Once reality finally slaps his brain into gear, he just cries. Good tears going down his face as he blubbers and holds his baby close to him on instinct. Praises mama too. Commenting on how baby is as beautiful as her and they have her eyes.

-Terrified and protective dad. He knows the dangers and keeps baby at home with mom safely tucked away in their hidden home away from danger. Only takes them out when both himself and Tamayo go somewhere. Strength in numbers.

-Loves holding his baby and sharing his painting hobby. Tamayo found him holding baby as they messily slapped hands full of paint all over a canvas. "Yushiro, what are you doing?" "Exploring their artistic skills of course."

-Man hangs all of his child's artwork proudly on the walls. Once nearly threw hands when one of Tamayo's patients said it wasn't that great.

-He can be very strict or hard on his child due to stress, fear, or stubbornness however and it has lead to some loud fights.

8/10 best father on this list no doubt

SWAMP DEMON:

-Have you seen how creepy he is in Kimetsu Gauken?? Absolutely NOT!

-0/10 Id rather take my chances with Muzan with a massive temper

TAMAYO:

-Is already an experienced parent having prior experience with her past family she lost. So she would definitely know what she's doing and what needs to be done. Already a good start.

-Is very calm and casual about the entire process as she's been through it before although Yushiro is practically worrying his entire hairline off fussing over her. Even though she tells him multiple times to stop worrying so much.

-Can really take care of herself through the entire process being a doctor and a previous mother before so there's really no complications outside of having to stay hidden for safety reasons.

-Has already prepared, planned, and set up a nursery with all the essentials on top of having an emergency bag in case they have to flee right away.

-Yushiro becomes the de fault uncle/dad figure worrying over the baby and crying when Tamayo allows him to hold baby and help care for it while she's busy. He becomes very protective and attached to mini Tamayo.

-Very good parent. Rarely if ever raises her voice to her child. Teaches them everything she knows about medicine and other skills so her child grows to be very smart. Has Yushiro help train them with his attack mode in case they ever have to fight anyone.

-Only downside is that she is unsure if she should offer her medicine to baby if they were born demon in fear it might harm them.

Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs. Organized by which ones (in each category) I’m enjoying most.

Ongoing Series - Thai

Laws of Attraction (Sat iQIYI) 5 of 8 - They cute making heart eyes at each other, but could we get back to punching & slutty silk shirts? OMG the poor rich kid & the bodyguard who wants to hug him SO BAD are KILLING me. I did giggle & yell “punchy punchies” during the fight scene before the fire. But Charn is a diamond-encrusted evil-gorgeous gremlin beastie, isn’t he? 

Only Friends (Sat YT) ep 1 of 10 - NO SINGING, but also.. wristbands! Sand is great = smart, snappy & over this shit. (Tired Gay 2.0) Neo & Mark are a revelation, where’d that chemistry come from? Force playing a douchenozzle is damn delight. Plus a counter lift in the first ep? Boys, you’re spoiling me. Mew is the least interesting, but Book is still adorable. Ray is the least likable character, but since it’s Khao, he’s the most likable screen presence. In fact, I’m enjoying all the messy messy gays & I know all their types IRL. I wish we had some femme & swish rep tho. Is this Thailand’s Queer as Folk? Seems like. Is it good? Not sure. But it is FUN as hell. Still, I gotta say it… they all dance like straight boys. 

Hidden Agenda that isn’t hidden (Sun GMMTV YouTube) ep 5 of 10 - Zo just wants to turtle & avoid but Joke is not gonna allow that. GMMTV keeps having sub issues (usually fixed within a few days). 

Low Frequency (Sat iQIYI) ep 6 of 8 - I do like the psychic gay detective trope. It makes this show more interesting and enjoyable. But they solved the mystery awful fast. I guess different drama spins the final 2 eps? 

Be My Favorite (Fri YouTube) ep 12fin - It was fine. I was fine with it. A kind of Vice Versa situation. The usual with Jittirain, as it turns out, is pretty simple: one of her main characters is going to be a manipulative liar or extremely unlikeable or both. It got an 8/10 from me, but probably should get a 7/10 just because I’m so exhausted by this. But I have to be fair and judge each BL on its own & not in light of repeat author mistakes. Not much of a trash watch here. Final full review here. 

Dinosaur Love (Sun iQIYI) ep 7 of 10 eps - Boyfriend trip together. Terrible overalls. What the fuck? No. Meanwhile, perfect choice for college star. (Could Ton please lead out a new BL? I know I’m 0 for 2 with him but I’m willing to try again if he is.) I actually enjoyed this installment for a change. Perhaps “enjoy” is too strong a word. Not much happened, dog days of BL, perhaps that’s a good thing with Dino? 

Be Mine Super Star (Mon Viki) ep 6 of 12 - Mostly I was excited to watch this week because of Ben but there wasn’t much of him. Sadness. OK, I know it has STIFF competition but does this show have the worst music in BL, or is it just me? I still like Big Daddy & Hot Doc as characters but I am despairing over their arc (would we call it an arc?). All in all this week... Whatever.

Wedding Plan (Weds YT & iQIYI) ep 4 of 7 - I am officially being driven to drink. Trash watch is happening!

Ongoing Series - Not Thai

Jun & Jun (Korea Thurs Viki) 4 of 8 - This show makes me laugh so much. It is so damn cute. And there’s so much language play going on. THEN . . . JUST ADD SIMON. I love a good Simon. Who doesn’t love a good Simon? I know SO MANY Simons. Now 3 boys are circling the ingénue (who I suspect is less innocent than he appears). So much delightful competition, postering & flirting. “My Jun,” is he, Simon? You are a precious angular stalk man, aren’t you? Pacing is great with this show. Every week I can’t wait for the next installment, that’s a hallmark of the best KBLs. If the language stuff confused you as much as it did me here is an EXCELLENT post on the subject that will help. 

Stay By My Side (Taiwan Fri Gaga) 7 of 10 eps - Sweetest seme. He’s hurt & mad at his boy but still can’t help taking care of him. I do like the courting with snacks & sweet little notes. (It’d work on me.) YAY!  Reunion kisses & nuzzles!!! Snuggling!!!! Gah! Taiwan, I love you. These 2 aren’t your best kissers but their cuddling is off the charts. I guess we are just gonna be plotless messy gay bfs for the final 3 eps? That’s cool with me. 

Sing My Crush (Korea Weds iQIYI) 3-4 of 8 eps - it’s adorable, they’re adorable, I’m enjoying it a whole lot. It’s like a very soft, low-stakes Addicted. 

Love Class Season 2 (Korea Fri Viki) 10 eps - I liked Love Class 1 (more than most on Tumblr) & I normally don’t want 2nd seasons. But this has an entirely new cast (in the “Replay” model). I’m fine with a 2nd season that has little or nothing to do with the first. J-min is an interesting choice of idols but he’s doing an unexpectedly good job. (He is a truly great rapper, by the way.) Trigger warnings out the gate... also this is complicated. Ready? We got 3 queer besties: artist gay Hyun (J-min), shy cafe gay Minwoo (in love with), sunshine gym bunny bi slut Maru (represent, my brother). Then we got Mr Put-upon-TA (+ boy who saw him nekid). And the twist = all black otaku Kim An (used to tutor artist gay in high school = exes ghosting DRAMA). This last reads as a hyung romance. Which you know I love. But it also feels v dark. All of which is to say, I am intrigued but a little nervous over the tone. 

My Personal Weatherman AKA Taikan Yoho (Japan Sat Gaga) ep 1 of 8 - Classic JBL is back! This one is My Beautiful Man + Tokyo in April/Oh My Assistant. It’s odd and warped af but I like it. Very much has a the feel of old live action yaoi + VERY D/s. BRING IT JAPAN.

Minato's Laundromat Season 2 AKA Minato Shouji Coin Laundry Season 2 (Japan Thu Gaga) 6 of 12 eps - Shin is my sweet bean sprout and Minato should just boink him. Why all this waffling? I love the doctor. But mostly I’m as frustrated with this show as Shin must be in general. Minato 2- the season of blue balls.

Stay Still (Hong Kong Tues YouTube) 2 of 5 eps - I re-watched the first 2 eps & now find it a bit more comprehensible (yes 2: there is an ep 0). I don’t think we can expect this to end happy for either couple. It’s kinda sticky & grungy (in a way I’ve come to expect from the Philippines, although this is not as cluttered visually nor as brightly colored as the Pinoy stuff). I do kind of like that lived-in feeling, it reminds me of Taiwanese shorts. There is something very honestly queer about the primary leads (tattoo & babyface) in particular the way they dance queer? around each other: verbally, emotionally & physically - laying down breadcrumbs of gay for the other to follow. The secondary couple (reunion, cheating) is very sad. Although I do love a counter lift make-out sesh. (Occasionally Cantonese sounds like Vietnamese to me. Apparently I am not alone in this.)

Gossip - AKA P’ABL is Disappointed

I was gonna put a statement here but I just did it separately, earlier this week, since my ask box was overflowing regarding actor gossip and other stuff. 

Meanwhile, Stay With Me ended exactly as expected. Can’t say I didn’t warn ya. You watched this anyway? You got what was coming to you. I am entirely unsympathetic.

8/19 I Feel You Linger in the Air (Thai Sat Gaga) 12 eps - The time travel historical romance many of us have been waiting for. Adaption of y-novel by Violet Rain. Heartbroken architect is transported to the 1930s. From the producers of Lovely Writer.

8/20 My Universe series (Thai Sun iQIYI) 24 eps - This is sampler pack BL, 12 pairs, each pair gets 2 eps, not sure on the order they’ll drop. Known couples include EarthBank from Destiny Seeker and KaownahTurbo from Love Stage!!!, fresh faces otherwise. Jane to direct.

8/22 Kisseki: Dear to Me formerly known as Miracle (Taiwan Tues ????) 13 eps - From screenwriter Lin Pei Yu (We Best Love, H3: Trapped) features a student doctor forced to take care of a gangster. I love the premise and like the writer, Viki or Gaga will get this one.  

8/23 Why R U? (Korean remake iQIYI) is supposed to be out this month, filming started in sept 22. I find everything about this hilarious. I mean if Korea remakes it, we lose all the sexy and then... would we have a story at all? No we would not. Not even for six short eps. It’d be like one of those mesh shopping bags.

8/24 Man Suang (Thailand movie, domestic cinema release) - historical drama about Thai burlesque with KP’s MileApo.

Death Or Glory - Palaye Royale [Reaction]

an interesting listen for sure

1. Death Or Glory — ahh a cancel culture song, okay but the chorus lowkey slaps. Really not a fan of the pronouns line ngl, I do wonder why they put that in considering their fanbase 0-0. I was semi-claiming this song but now I’m un-claiming this song, tho the guitar is fire

2. Hot Mess — definite BBR vibes, it was good but didn’t thrill me

3. Just My Type — now this I have been jamming since it came out, the album ver hits slightly less than the single ver (I think they tone down the drums?) but it’s a banger of a song nonetheless

4. Ache In My Heart — the fact I’m asexual but vibe to this song is funny, I just love the sound of this one

5. For You — okay, a little bit of a sound switch-up, I think this could totally belong on BBR side B, it kinda gives me Mrs Infamous vibes and I adore the musical break at the end

6. Dark Side of the Silver Spoon — I said before and I’ll say again this has major BBR Side A vibes, the instrumentals in this are addicting

7. Showbiz — straight out of the American Satan soundtrack, I find it kinda funny they’re doing an anti-industry song when they’ve always been on Sumerian as Palaye to my knowledge but it’s a great track

8. Mister Devil — immediate Massacre the New American Dream vibes, this was the song I claimed and it does not disappoint

9. Addicted to the Wicked and Twisted — I’m not a huge fan of most of the first verse lyrics being repeated twice in a row but the sound of this one is interesting

10. Self-Loathing Conversation — Palaye goes country?? This guitar line reminds me of another song but I cannot think what. I love the slower vibes of this one though, it makes it stand out in the album as well

11. Been Too Long — idk what it is but I just don’t vibe with this one, I think it just doesn’t have anything that stands out to me

12. Pretty Stranger — I like the build-up towards the chorus, the drums really carry this one, it’s catchy

Overall rating: 7/10

Favourite Single: Dark Side of the Silver Spoon

Album Ranking: probably my least favourite 😭

Comments: the singles really carry this album for me since I think they stand out the most along with Self-Loathing Conversation and Mister Devil. I like that they brought some of the BBR sound back but otherwise a lot of the sound is kinda repetitive and there isn’t as much contrast between verse and chorus which is a personal thing but something I often look for in songs. There are definitely very repeated themes in the lyrics - namely drug use, the dark side of the music industry and messy breakups/relationships. None of these are exactly new to Palaye but it’s hard to really work out the message - it doesn’t feel as cathartic as Fever Dream, it’s not angry like The Bastards. It’s like the feelings are just there and not really dealt with or dived into and with the overall sound being quite the same it almost gives a sense of defeat, that this is the world and their lives and they can’t change it…or maybe I’m reading too much into it

My thoughts on Season 14 Episode 3:

First of all, why is it numbered as 4 on Disney+? It's so weird. Specials are 0, or "specials".

There are subtitles in my language to this. That's an improvement to most previous seasons I had to make subtitles myself if I wanted to show the show to somebody else.

And also I just found out there is Polish dubbing made to this. Like... WHAT?! It was uncomfortable to watch... Even for this exactly 15 seconds before I noticed it.

Oh, and I have finally seen this "Disney+ Original" - I laughed so hard I woke up half of my neighbours xD

About an episode - it felt better than previous ones. Singing took me off guard again, even tho it seems we have musical-ish sequence in every episode so far. Which is interesting. But also weird.

Again, I have a problem with the timeline, so if someone could explain this issue, I would be ever so grateful. We met Vilengard again and this is set about 3000 years in the future (based on Ruby's calendar age). But didn't Nine blow the factory up at this point? Because we know he did, and there was supposed to be a banana plantation. (Bananas! Bananas are good!)

I didn't like this thing with Canto. First, he shot Ruby without any question - after I finally started to like her, ffs. And then they had 3 minutes to bomb blow up but they had this oddly long talk... I mean, lovely, love in the middle of war (*cough* with an empty planet *cough*), but the timing was so weird. And this whole sequence... Well, I cringed a bit.

I love the fact that in this season we have hugs back. I love the hugs. I missed it, there were too few hugs previously xd

The Doctor looks absolutely FANTASTIC in his new outfit, but when do we find out his Outfit (TM)? So far there is nothing connected to him. 9 had his black leather jacket and heavy boots, 10 long swishy coat, pinstripes suit and too many shirts underneath (on more than one occasion), 11 with his bowtie (that was absolutely cool I don't care what people say!! ... I also started wearing one, cuz why the hell not), 12 and this lovely magician-like piece with red accents, 13 and her beautiful sky blue coat (btw I want it so bad), 14 and his too-tight blue-this-time suit, and 15? What about 15? We are 3 episodes into the season c'mon! (And I found out there is 8 episodes?! So it's almost half-season)

Was it rushed? I don't know. It didn't feel like it much. At least not to the point with Canto. After this weird situation, it went really quick. Oddly quick.

I liked the message of this episode, even tho it kinda came out of nowhere.

The overall rating is 8/10 for me. On to the next!

Okay, first of all

You had to do some real bad shit for them to do anything more than berate you verbally

I would think you would've had to say something REALLY horrible about them or even try to shove them away (Can't blame you for that tho, they tend to get up in your face during arguments, so you probably just wanted space, or it was an instinctual reaction)

Why? They've been sparring with each other for YEARS; they couldn't maim each other so they had to have some form of restraint.

That, and sometimes their clients just wanted them to rough their targets up, not kill them.

With that said, at most, you'll have a huge gash or a broken bone, but once your down, they don't continue attacking you, again, self-restraint is key to sparring with each other or certain missions where they aren't allowed to kill the target, even if they fight back.

Once that's over with, they might yell at you for being stupid enough to try and put up a fight against them.

If your injury (Gash) caused a severed/punctured artery, they will skip the scolding and take you to Donnie (If he wasn't present or the one fighting you.)

But even with a non-life-threatening injury, after your verbal beatdown, they'll take you to Donnie to be patched up.

Once you're in Donnie's clutches, you'll be verbally humiliated, restrained and treated as a rabid monster

"God you're so weak and pathetic, how could you even think to attack us? we're just trying to keep you safe, and this is how you treat us? Like we're horrible lovers? Get a grip, Y/N, stop being such a bad S/O, then MAYBE you can finally enjoy all we give you, ungrateful little shit."

Basically, they gaslight the FUCK out of you, saying that they didn't do anything to warrant this, that they didn't deserve your ire, that you should be grateful that they're keeping you SAFE from the outside world, you can't even protect yourself, overall making themselves the victim and you some weak human who they could've killed but were such "Kind Souls"

Kind souls my ass, they ATTACKED YOU FIRST.

Hell, Donnie might even DRUG you during this, they don't want you to attack your lovers~

They don't even apologize; they just blame you for the situation like the little shits they are

Hmmmm, Did Riddle, Kalim, Epel, and Idia ever use their omnitrix during a certain bean fest. I mean the watch and its alien technically don’t use any form of magic so it’s not really breaking any of Vargas’ rules there.(heck what about during Camp Vargas itself, omnitrix alien powers are very helpful[plus I can just see Idia just fiddling with his being uhh bored and yet technically not that bored cause well, he can just go full alien later. Ben did first get his omnitrix during a certain camp trip)

BEANS! BEANS! BEANS!

If it wasn't for glorious masquerade (and that Phanthom thief/Gothic ball theme) Beanfest would be my top fav: Good cards, chaotic storyline where everyone gets to shine a bit and most importantly: ✨violence✨. It's probably the only story where everyone punts everyone for the mere motive that they are petty and want to win.

Camp Vargas... Meh... I mean it was funny... I did enjoy it... But kinda ya know... The real deal started like... Post a long exposure that kinda got me a bit bored. Pretty good event, a bit difficult of a playthrough and the cards are meh for me...

BUT! We are here for the aliens!

Camp Vargas:

Riddle

At first, boi wanted to do everything by the book. You know, no alien powers, generally just having a nice camp experience.

When Ace dissapears tho, Riddle has some alarm bells ringing. Ace was a lil shit, but he wouldn't simply dissapear in a forest, where he has no shelter besides the campsite and no proper food. In fear that Ace might just eat poisonous plants, Riddle offers to search up for him. Sebek and Silver were great for leading the equestrian club on their own and the members did a pretty good job, so a worry less.

That's when he uses Wildmutt to try and pick-up Ace's trail and find him. It was pretty dark and in 10 minutes Riddle didn't get a great lead mostly since there was a lot of other scents that covered up Ace's.

But he stumbles upon tied up students to trees. That when Riddle realises that Vargas is fucking nuts and they are hunted for sports in the middle of the night.

Surprisingly, the first one Riddle finds is Deuce, thinking that Vargas might use the mine as a place to hide other students. The 2 escape and manage to reunite with the rest of the survivors.

Cue Jack and Deuce helping Riddle get 'kidnapped' so that the redhead can have an entry as Wildvine (on half since he was calm, knowing the whole situation at hand) and catch Vargas in a swamp then tie him up with vines to a tree so they could ensure this man won't hunt them for sports again.

Kalim

He's trying to prove Jamil that he is capable and reliable. So he tries to do everything by the book too! :D

But Idia dissapears, then it's installed a whole bunch of chaos with more dissappearances and the wierd monster. Oh Kalim is 100% squaring up.

Kalim punts Vargas in a tree and it's glorious✨

There is also Crewel in there, so there is that. Kalim also squares up, but like, man feels SO guilty afterwards. Even if no one knew he was the alien hero. :'3

But overall, Kalim has a pretty nice camping experience. And he learned from Jade some cool fungi facts. :D

Epel

Oh heck yeah, Epel is absolutely thriving with the whole camp idea. No Vil? No Rook? Liberty, bitches! He is more free than a bird and he's feeling awesome. He wants to try everything, he tries everything, he gets tired from trying everything and eats then repeats until he has to go to sleep. :'3

The dissappearances occur and Epel immediately is ready to square up. He just yeets Vargas across the forest like a ping-pong ball.

He also fights the mine monster the same way. The poor Phanthom had 0 chances. :'3

Idia

Man doesn't wanna go camping. PERIOD!

But he finds his super cool 50+ attack stick so he's happy. Ortho said that he shouldn't use the omnitrix just to skip over his tasks, so at least he hs his super cool stick. :'3

Idia gets the first dissappearance. He was tired from the whole running around and picking sticks, so he fell asleep than poof! He woke up in Vargas's cabin and had to do squats as punishment.

Unfortunately for Vargas, he disclosed his plan to Idia, including Crewel's involvement, so the firehead was very aware of the whole situation and DID NOT like it.

But also it was the absolute best prank idea known to man, to just play as a 3rd party with a similar approach to Vargas's, but make it unbeknownst to anyone else. No one would know if he uses the omnitrix for this. They are in a goddamn forest, for all one could know, some of this NRC Students were petty enough to square up with a bear.

It is mandatory to note that before the camp commenced, Idia and Ortho argued about weather the camp was good or not. Idia was absolutely against the idea of camp being 'fun', while Ortho saw it as a great opportunity. Of course, now with this goldmine of prank material, Idia wanted primarily to use it so he could prove his brother that camp was NOT fun.

He ends up have a whole load of fun while enacting his plan. Everyone was screaming and running around like headless chickens and Idia loved every second of it. He initially wanted to have Ortho for last, because Ortho would absolutely know Idia was behind a good chunk of the dissappearances if he targets him early or mid plan.

But Vargas and Crewel strike first on Ortho and that's when Idia doesn't have that much fun anymore. It was supposed to be his hit! It was supposed to be glorious and induce even more panic since Ortho was a pretty reliable and an important factor of the survivors team. He was supposed to get Ortho, not them. Plus it adds salt to the wound the fact that Vargas and Crewel tied up his lil bro to a tree while shut down so like, where's the care? Ortho was a robot, some things are fragile still!

So Idia takes out Ortho first, which unintentionally creates even more panic since now the 'actual wild monster' is targeting students that are also tied up. Idia ends up punting the teachers and all is good in the end.

By the finale of the whole thing, Ortho tries to admit defeat, that this camp was clearly a bad idea and it wasn't that fun. Idia tho, corrects that he had loads of fun and was down for a part 2.

Riddle

Oh he's out for BLOOD! Man doesn't fucking hesitate. He punts Ace and Jack in a heartbeat. He is one force to be reckoned with and he will do anything to win.

In reality someone made fun of him for being smol and an easy to catch target so y'all know where this went.

Kalim

Bby wants to have shawarma. Let him have his fucking shawarma in peace.

Jamil attempts to catch Kalim, but he gets captured instead because Kalim had his half transformation as Wildvine and they were in the botanical garden, where it was LUSH of plants. Same thing for Rook and Trey. The whole shawarma thing was a 100% trap that Kalim had in order to catch the monster team in a flytrap style. Doesn't mean Kalim won't get to enjoy sum nice shawarma. A double win! :D

Epel

Breaking news: kid commits usual property damage.

Epel is absolutely abusing of his omnitrix advantage. Monster team is absolutely useless against Epel who's more than ready to throw them in trees.

Vil does put him in place at one point, but Epel escapes his sight for 1 second and 4 monster players are found hung up on trees. :'3

Idia

Ortho ended up on the monster team so Idia fears for his ass, since he was in the farmers team and knew his brother was out for BLOOD. (Vargas said for the 2 to be in different teams so Idia couldn't 'use his brother to take the easy way out') Oh Ortho was absolutely merciless. Doesn't help that he teams up with Azul and Jack.

Idia's only objective: survive. He struck days prior an alliance with Azul for him to help him with loot so that he won't be targeted, but that won't fly by Ortho. Azul might spare him, but not Ortho. Idia just runs and hides all the event.

Ortho catches him in the end. Omnitrix or not. :'3

Rating some of the plushies in my room based on how easy they are to beat up

Ever had that moment where you just felt like beating up something? Well here’s how I’d rate my plushies based on how easy they are to beat the crap out of.

The main things I’m looking for in a plush to beat up are:

Not looking super duper cute to the point of feeling bad

A goofy face but not so goofy to the point of being ugly

A chokeable neck

Easy to chuck

A big, flat, punchable head

And the ability to bounce when thrown.

No plushies we’re harmed in the making of this post.

First up we have this plushie of kuromi dressed up as a tanuki. These plush is very cute and soft, so you almost feel bad when throwing it. It’s face is very cute, not goofy at all. It doesn’t have a neck, so it is nearly impossible to choke it. It’s head is hard to grabs with one palm, so not very easy to throw. However, it’s big head does make it easy to punch in the face. It also dosent not bounce well when thrown.

Overall 2/10 on the beat-up-o-meter, too cute and cuddly to beat up.

Next up is that s plague doctor fortune teller. The plush is very cute and soft, once again making you feel bad abt beating it up. The little bird nose is quite fun to use as a handle to throw it with, so sort of a goofy face. This little lump has absolutely zero neck, so it is impossible to choke. However, it’s very easy to throw, due to it being small and round. It’s slightly punchable, however you’re punching the whole body, not just the face. It dosent indeed bounce when thrown however.

This plush will receive a 5/10 on the beat-up-o-meter. It’s not perfect, however it will do if you feel the sudden urge to chuck something like a football.

Next, we have a cute little plushie of Twig from the show “Hilda.” This thing, once again, is very cute, plus with it being a existing character from a show, makes you feel very bad when beating it up. It also has a very cute an innocent face. However, it is very easy to choke. It is also easy to grab, and you can use the antlers as a handle to flick it around your room. It’s also fun to use it’s tail to spin it around like a helicopter. This thing, unfortunately, does not have a big, punchable face, and barley bounces when thrown.

So, I would give it a 6/10. It has many of the elements of a beat-up-able plush, but some gaping elements are gone.

Next we have this plushie of alolan vulpix, and my goodness. This plushie is unable to be beaten up. It’s sweet, inquisitive eyes and slight smile make it to cute. It’s neck is slightly too wide tho the point that it’s uncomfortable to choke. The tail is so big and poofy that it’s hard to get a good grasp on it. It’s face sticks out so it’s uncomfortable to punch, and it does NOT BOUNCE. AT. ALL.

0/10 on the beat-up-o-meter. Amazing plush to cuddle with, horrible plush to beat up.

And last but not least we have Spamton. This plush. THIS PLUSH. ITS PERFECT! It’s goofy looking, so you don’t feel bad beating it up! It has this big goofy grin that is so fun to punch, this long Pinocchio nose that’s a perfect handle to grab him by. His face is so punchable. His neck is easily choakable, and his big ‘ol head flips around as you shake him! His head is very easy to grab onto and just THROW. His head is big and fist and VERY EASY TO THROW FISTS AT! This guy bounces ten miles when thrown! And best of all, when you punch him, he SPEAKS. He cries and yells in agony, and it is so fun to punch him in the face and hear him. Hear his voice cry and beg. It’s so funny, he’s so funny, he’s so PUNCHABLE.

11/10 on the beat-up-o-meter. God bless Spamton.

i’m actually gonna give my overall thoughts out the way first jekrkdk. WELL. ITS NOT HER BEST WORK THATS FOR SURE 😭😭 i wont say it’s BAD but. it’s definitely not a banger. so much of it sounds like a bad rehash of albums and songs she’s already done. so many songs have me thinking “oh yeah. i see what she’s trying to do, but she already has a song where she actually executed this concept successfully” lyrically… yeah after evermore and folklore this feels like a crime. taylor is known to have some goofy ass “a millennial definitely wrote this” lyrics but something about this album made her crank that up to a million like sister please 😭😭 as a whole the album feels like if a god tier album (1989) had a baby with her worst album (lover). which is so confusing bc how did she backslide like this??? WE KNOW U CAN DO SYNTHPOP WELL, WHAT HAPPENED. the timing is just Bad too. like we just had the two masterpieces that are folklore and evermore, she just released the re-recording of one of her best albums, and in comparison to all that this just feels mediocre. anyways here’s to the songs ejrkr

lavender haze - 8.5/10

it’s cute!! it’s catchy and one of the best from the album. all her songs about joe makes my eye twitch lowkey but i can put that aside for now. probably the best bridge on the album (which is not a good sign bc this bridge isn’t even all that- which is disappointing bc she’s known for her god tier bridges but i digress)

maroon - 5/10

this one has potential. i can see it growing on me, but for now it was kinda boring djdkk the verses are delicious but not really feeling the chorus. the bridge made me laugh, like sister please bffr

anti-hero - 8.5/10

not even talking about it sonically, but lyrical content. yeah. YEAH. by the first line i was screaming “ME TOO” it’s like if blank space didn’t have the cynical parody spin it had. introspective and delicious MWAHH (“it’s me, hi. i’m the problem” is a goofy ass lyric tho LIKE SJRKFKF) also love the bridge

THE MIRACULOUS MOVIE WAS SHIT. THEY SPENT ALLL THE BUDGET ON ANIMATION AND FORGOT TO GIVE IT A PLOT. OH MY GOD IT WAS TRASH.

Now I'm being harsh here and I know it, but below are some of the very real reasons why this movie absolutely let me down. (Also is this unfair and am I hating on it? Yes. But I cried bc I couldn't watch it this morning because my dog ate my glasses. We literally paid 400 bucks so I could see this movie today. I wasn't even that upset about the glasses I just wanted to see the movie)

Marinette's VA is LITERALLY A SINGER and they chose to have someone who sounds NOTHING LIKE HER sing instead. It sounded like Olivia Rodrigo and I'm not shitting on her but the voices DO NOT MATCH! the singer for chat was immaculate tho. Much better than the Christmas special.

The storyline was so weird. It felt way too fast paced, also, LADYBUG NEVER USED HER LUCKY CHARM ONCE! they only transformed once on screen, and the cataclysm was only used once. AND THE CATACLYSM WAS WET! IT WAS WET AND BUBBLY! WHAT THE HELL!?

Also they tried to make Gabriel seem like a good father. Adrien forgave him in the end. And he doesn't seem like a sentibeing in this movie. Is it true there's gonna be 2 more movies? How? Everything was wrapped up, and the butterfly is WITH FU so it's not like it'll get lost again.

It was such a cheesy movie, which, while expected, still makes the show look like gold. There was barely any angst, and the angst was SO OVERDONE OH MY GODDD..

One thing I did like though is how they portrayed Chloé. They made her meaner, and even more of a bitch, even presumably coming to actually beat up Marinette (or make Sabrina do it most likely). I loved that because it matches more with pre-show Chloé that we learned of in s5e14.

The animation was beautiful, but again, I think they spent all the money on that and forgot to save any for the writing.

Also, HAWKMOTH CAN'T AKUMATIZE HIMSELF UNLESS HE DETRANSFORMS!

Apparently they got rid of the status quoyo, so the damage legit just stays there? Except the ending, where ladybug earns back restoration powers through love and believing in herself. Not to mention chanting ladybug was ripped out of the s4 finale. So all the REALLY BAD DAMAGE was taken care of, but like, THE NOTRE DAME WAS FUCKING DESTROYED AND IT HAD TO BE FIXED BY HAND!

ALSO also also, no such thing as breaking the akumatized object, hawkmoth just deakumatized them when they failed. Also, why the hell is everyone reading the paper?? Bro it's digital now??

I think I would've liked the songs if they'd had Christina, or at LEAST someone that had ANY SEMBLANCE TO HER VOICE AT ALL.

whew quite a bit late this time cause I was catching up to something and then didn't want to post this without also having watched the fate special and the ryza premier but anyhoo

Imas CG: U149 Ep12 (Finale)

before anything else, also wrote a review for this on mal, was on the edge about it but did it cause some people convinced me, which most of what I say here but better structured wow. that's all I can say really. like a lot of people I was put off by the premise for this like "damn imas anime with just the kids? who asked for this?" and I'm not even a hater, I already liked a lot of the cast before this, albeit not nearly as much as older idols. but again, wow. it really surprised me and made me feel silly for ever doubting it and thinking it'd just be "imas for kids". it's an imas ofc it was gonna be good what was I thinking. Story: Just like the OG anime, each episode focused on each one of the girls, an issue they were having and ultimately overcoming it, from nina's fear that no one likes her unless she has her kigurumis to arisu's crippling anxiety when it comes to her parents which was planted little by little throughout the whole show with the huge payoff that was ep11, and a lot more in between. the overarching theme for the show was growing up, overcoming your fears not only with your own strength but also with the help of not only your friends around you but also the adults, which makes a lot of sense for a show about kids right. Art/Animation: honestly really really good, the anime was done by cygames' in house studio, just like the newest uma musume anime and it looks incredibly good, there was not a single point where I thought it looked cheap or could tell they were cutting corners in terms of animation, quite the opposite, I was surprised more often than not, like the chie episode that I mentioned all the time with the really good hand acting, but there's a lot more things outside of that Music: it's imas ofc the music is good, every episode had one or more insert songs around the halfway point and a different ED every week, again, just like the OG. hell some of those insert songs were brand new for the anime like kiryu's chara song or LiPPS's Nightwear that was added to the game in an event coinciding with the episode airing (huge brained). ofc I'm just being a simp for the idol music, what about the background music used in the episodes? that was good too don't worry, it was done by Miyazaki Makoto who also did OPM and SxF, and it always fit perfectly tho I couldn't point out any stand out track but it's also not the type of show where the music should stand out too much over the dialogues and stuff so that's a good thing. oh but I also wanna gush about how they're really good about when to NOT use music, there was a long scene in ep11 with 0 dialogue and music, only sound effects and it was soooo good, and there's more scenes like that sprinkled throughout the show. Overall: incredibly good ofc, I gave it a 10 when it's not that, but its imas and it's close enough that I couldn't give it anything else. idols just got me in an iron grip man this is known. if you like the OG imas, watch this; if you like any of the cast members, watch this (even if you think you dislike some of them like I did, do it, you'll prob change your mind); if you like idol shows, watch this; you've never watched an idol show and don't know where to start? well you should watch the OG imas from 2011 but this is a good starting point too

Mashle Ep12 (Finale)

you're better off reading the manga than watching this. that's really most of what I have to say about it. from start to finish it was barely animated outside of the crumb of sakuga in ep11, and the audio didn't add anything to it either, with the music being forgetable at best and overly distracting at worst (looking at the rap track). the voice performances were alright for the main cast and some of the final villains but outside of that they left a lot to be desired too. not the worst adaptation out there surprisingly enough so it gets at least a 6

Jigokuraku Ep13 (Finale)

unlike the mashle anime this is a great adaptation! I'd be totally ok with recommending this to someone if they didn't want to read the manga (tho you should still do that instead if you prefer the latter like me). I wanted to give it an 8 but the lack of sakuga held it back, I had high expectations with it being mappa but I guess juggling jujutsu, csm and snk meant that this was never gonna get the love it deserves. s2 has been confirmed, with no date, so hopefully it'll be at a time where it can have some more attention tho not holding my breath for it. anyway despite the lack of actual sakuga the action scenes still looked good and they did a good job capturing the colourfulness and creepiness of the island the ost was also really good, it really added to the ambience, especially some of the more creepy tracks and all the seiyuu did a great job, I was very excited when I saw takarie was gonna be yuzuriha and she did not disappoint and all the tensen sharing the same 2 seiyuu between male and female forms (as stated in the manga) and still being distinguishable was nice, ofc this is not to detract from the rest of the cast they were good too the anime ended at around where I expected, tho I didn't expect to see a shugen tease after the ED so that was neat, if they keep up at this pace we'll get at least 2 more cours, so like I said hopefully those get a bit more love

Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn

holy moly I'm used to fate anime being good but I still prefer to keep my expectations low in order not to get disappointed and WOW the special was so good. like the only complaint I have is them skipping some stuff (like rider's summon) but I'm sure those'll be in the actual tv anime that was announce after the special (crazy). very curious to see what all they'll cover since the light novels aren't over yet but it'll prob be up til before a certain baddie shows up. anyway, back to the special. it looked amazing, with some juicy sakuga near the end, it's got an all star voice cast tho uchida maaya stole the show near the middle and the OST was great, to be expected from sawano. very pogged up for the anime now god bless

Atelier Ryza Ep1

that double lenght ep got hands huh? it felt longer than the FSF special despite being shorter, I guess to mimick that early jrpg feel huh? but anyway it was.. decent really. I didn't expect much and it didn't deliver much, just looked average. I'm just happy to see my beautiful ryza animated 😊tho there we nearly not enough thigh shots outside of the OP and ED :(

Mashle Ch162 (Finale)

it's finally over huh. kinda wild to think about. it was, alright. I had it as an 8 after I caught up to it and up until the end but had to knock it down a bit. it's a shame the final arc got stretched so much cause of them wanting to end the manga alongside the anime but I don't believe that was the author's decision. overall it's a fun series, like OPM meets a magic school. it took a bit for it at the start to find it's groove but when it got there (right after where the anime ended), it was a nice series to read weekly with a lot of cool looking fights. the cast was fun, albeit a bit annoying at times for me. if you just want a goofy series with good action give it a try cause that's it all it is

My Hero Academia Ch218 - 392

SHEEESH that was quite a lot to catch up to huh, I thought it'd take a lot less time, and it could've if I totally focused on it but still anyway, I started mha right when it began, well not exactly, it had like 10 chapters or so? so close enough and I've always loved it a lot. I know it gets called a mid a lot cause the anime made it super mainstream but it's actually quite good. horikoshi is definitely the best artist in the magazine currently by a long shot, tho it takes quite a toll on his health :( the last time I had read was like right after deku got the whip power and right before the my villain academia arc, and shit's been popping off since then. horikoshi went on record to say fans don't like the villains so he cut it short and stuff, and I understand where people're coming from (not gonna get into it), tho I liked that arc. after that we had the training arc with endeavor which was kinda short, followed by a huge battle culminating in a big fight between all the heroes and almost perfect AFO. after that we had dark deku was which was very pog, with him becoming basically a vigilante and showing off his greater control over OFA. and then we're basically were we are right now, the big climatic final fight where everyone gets their chance to be cool and shine. like I said at the start, I've loved mha since the beggining and that hasn't changed at all, despite how long it might take I trust horikoshi to do a good job until the end, maybe in 2024, hang in there buddy!

just an action filled chapter as expected but very cool nonetheless, it was great finally getting to see okarun fighting with his new upgrades also I say it all the time but it's crazy how a weekly series can look this good, this wasn't the only spread either

Kindergarten WARS Ch22 - 24

nice chaps, not only did they have some great action but also served to introduce an overarching plot to break the series away from it's formulaic structure so far, just a couple more months til we're caught up with jp so that'll be nice

Shuumatsu no Valkyrie Ch79

most of the chap was just leonidas' backstory which is like, one of the most well known in history but it wouldn't make sense to not include it regardless. we're only at the start but I still don't think he's got a chance of winning but we'll see

an ok 2nd chapter tho coulda been a lot better, it was just a little self contained story, if it keeps going like this it's gonna suffer the same fate as ginka

weird chap tbh, and idk if it's just me but it feels like the art took quite a hit, maybe it's just the new guys' design being weird. I figured this fancy book they introduced would've been written by his dad, and that he had some connection to the gang, but didn't expect it to get revealed so early but, gotta do what you can when ratings are so low

figured we'd be getting the next challenger soon, tho it is refreshing that he isn't just after noren. series has been doing p decently in ratings so there's no risk of it going anywhere currently but I would still like to see some more exciting stuff, maybe this duel will have something to satisfy me

the 1v1s start in WW and with a bang. having keigo not transform into wolf right at the start is very good, it'll be even cooler if he actually got to beat her without transforming but I don't see that happening

some nice action in this chap and they also introduced the brother that's been mentioned a million times so that's nice, it's still too early to know how the series is doing in rankings but with it coming from a veteran and do retry seemingly flopping I think it'll be fine

Sakamoto Days Ch125

very cool action packed chapter again, I'd been hoping heisuke would be part of the fight so it's nice to see that finally happen, tho I don't have high hopes for our order friend here surviving

chap was mostly just set up for the shen vs mui fight, kinda sad we didn't get to see billy or fuuko fight but oh well, this fight should be cool tho I hope shen actually gets to fight feng for real and it doesn't just end in one shot or something

Akane-banashi Ch68

a nice chap, mostly just a cool down after hikaru's performance which landed her a 93 score. I had originally predicted her to get 96 and akane to get a 93 so it'd be funny if it was the other way around. I still don't feel akane is gonna win this competition at this point but we'll see if I change my mind after the first performance chap next week
