In the first, Done Abene takes a hold of Miki's shoulder. Murderbot, who is watching through Miki's eyes, falls off its perch and shouts "OH FUCK don't grab me".

In the second, Murderbot is standing awkwardly worried next to Mensah, just after she has been harassed by a journalist in the short story Home. It says, "You can hug me if you need to." Mensah replies "No, it's alright. I know it makes you uncomfortable" and Murderbot's face softens as it smiles.

In the third, Maro is hugging herself while looking at Murderbot and says "This is for you."

In the fourth, Murderbot thinks to itself while standing next to Mensah "If I kill this human... Mensah won't trust me anymore. She will not stand near enough to touch (without touching, ew).

In the fifth, Arada gazes up at Murderbot with a wobbly smile while Murderbot says "No hugging. It's in my contract. Do you need me to call someone for emotional support."

In the sixth, Murderbot holds a human up by the scruff of their uniform work jacket and says "Do not touch Security Consultant Rin."

In the seventh, Ratthi asks from offscreen "Do you have a relationship with this bot?" At Murderbot's disgruntled face, he says "Not like that."

In the eighth, Murderbot frowns sternly at Ratthi. Ratthi says "It was a sexual discussion." Murderbot instantly leaves, leaving behind a blank dotted outline while it hovers at pace away down the hall. End ID.]

Félix Fathom has invaded my brain and his relationship with Adrien is so interesting to me because like. He steals one of the rings in hopes of not only making his mom happy but also so Gabriel can’t control Adrien anymore. His original plan before meeting Kagami and talking to Marinette for the Diamond Dance was to erase everyone and create a world for just the two of them. He wants him to be happy and genuinely cares about him.

But then sometimes he will say shit like “‘Look at me :( I am so sad and lonely :((’ that’s what you sound like. I act like that when I’m pretending to be you and everyone believes me actually.” Directly to Adrien’s face because that might be his favorite cousin but these two have the biggest Cain Instinct when it comes to each other and I full believe if you gave either of them a cardboard tube, they would not HESITATE to bonk the other with it.

Short comic inspired by a segment of Chapter 42 of Somewhere in Time by Serpent in Red (@serpentinred) (PLEASE mind the preliminary notes regarding the fic (which is in Chapter 1), AND the author’s notes which top and tail this specific chapter cuz it is NOT a continuation of the main plot). There’s just something wholesome and grin-inducing about Chapter 42 that makes my heart grow two sizes, and the enemies-to-lovers tone remains an exquisite constant throughout the fic, so if that’s your thing, you know what to do!

I also owe a massive thanks to Nerys Dax (@nerysdax) for kindly looking over the panels and providing helpful comments and feedback. I really appreciated this since it was important to me from the outset that whatever is sketched out here remains as close to the author's story as possible, and I couldn't have confidently put this forward without Nerys's input.

Second what the other anon said abt you making such impressively complex and concise ocs despite the awful dialogue system of that game tripping the player up at every chance with wrong labeled dialogue that's completely inconsistent across limited personalities - it's really cool you've managed to make it work to your advantage!

Henna not being back in any capacity in the second Mariposa movie gives me two impressions:

1). untapped potential for a 3rd movie where we get Henna reformation or some such.

2).

Mariposa: I wonder how Henna's doing out there.

Honestly it's entirely possible that she IS dead; a lot of her control over the Skeezites hinged on the promise of invading Flutterfield, and we can see their patience wearing thin throughout the movie. It's possible her failure to follow through would be the final straw, and that her lights would only be able to carry her so far when her entire army is against her. I do like the potential for another sequel to tie up that loose end though, in no small part because "dramatic revenge declaration followed by offscreen death that's never mentioned" is just kind of anticlimactic. Even if it's been a decade and that ship has sailed at this point. We could've had it all. Two fairy trilogies. Also consider: The Skeezites don't seem to be a threat--or even present at all-- in Fairy Princess. They're not once brought up unless in past tense. Regellius brings up Flutterfield defeating them when that's not necessarily how it happens in the first movie(which she does point out but focuses more on the method than the outcome so it's still unclear). Yeah they succeed in driving them off, but if Mariposa's quest or the fact that they've been terrorizing the kingdom for centuries says anything, it's that there are probably way more hanging around than Henna's immediate army. I'm imagining a midquel where she manages to get the Skeezites to hold out for a little longer so she can get her Revenge Plan in, and Flutterfield deals with them for good.

this says sooo much about him: his deductive reasoning skills, his appreciation for art, his understanding of other people’s psychology. i need more stories where joey gets to play detective, especially in an art or music history context, and i NEED him to have proper dialogue

Ah, the truth came out. He was just playing devil's advocate with his questions in Part 1, and Arslan's answer just confirmed what he already knew in his heart. It was already evident when he offered to be Arslan's guide, to be honest.

Somewhere there's a universe where q!Roier is a Federation employee and like. He's obviously still the golden child, the Feds all adore him, but rules are rules. They have to take Bobby away, and they really don't understand why Roier is so upset because he's one of them. He's happy! He's perfect! He's their silly little guy! He should've known better than to get attached.

Nothing seems to cheer him up. Not his assigned partner, who leaves to grieve in her own way. Not his adoptive family, who serve more as placebos than actual family members (everyone in the Federation knows that Agent R0-1-3-R is an orphan, it's why he turned out so well working under them for so long.) Not his friends, who seem to blame him for his egg's death.

But then there's the Federation's literal least favorite person, Cellbit, who so happens to be Roier's literal favorite person. Who manages to make Roier smile in ways that none of the S.M.I.L.E. units have been able to since he was a child.

So, naturally, when Cellbit comes up to S.M.I.L.E. Agent: Cucurucho claiming to have changed his entire world perspective and wanting to join the Federation, the Feds are Very Okay with this. Because Roier is their specialest little guy, and it just wouldn't do for him to be in love with an enemy of the state. And the Feds know that Cellbit is probably trying to trick them, but allowing him to join would make him happy, and it's bound to make Roier happy. Right?

Wrong! Because Roier literally tries to kill himself the second he finds out that Cellbit is 'missing' from the island. And he won't listen when Cucurucho tries hinting towards the fact that the love of his life is currently becoming as perfect as he is. He wants his Cellbit back, and he wants him now. Kidnapping people isn't cool!

But, like. No, you can't just leave the Federation once you've joined. And they're just doing what's best for Roier. They're giving him his friend and his soulmate, and he'll get to keep him when the experiment ends. It's a privilege no one else on the island is going to get! Why is he so fucking ungrateful?

Unfortunately for the Feds, Cellbit breaks free from their control after a few days, and Roier is there to get him. And that night they get engaged and then, once the rest of the island is asleep, Roier storms into the offices demanding that they leave Cellbit alone from now on. He's literally fucked up, okay? Leave him out of things.

Wrong move, Roier. It isn't your place to argue against your superiors no matter how special you are.

So Retired Agent: Codename "Abueloier" is sent to eradicate the problem. If Cellbit is out of the picture, then that's for the best.

...Unfortunately, a certain little bear (coughs Osito Bimbo) saves Abueloier because it can't bear (pun intended) to see Roier this sad.

Roier and Cellbit go on their date, and they get married, and not even Agent: Codename "ElQuackity" is able to break them apart with the elections. Goddamnit.

With literally no other choice, the Federation is forced to accept its newest family member. They can't brainwash him again, because, honestly, there's no point. Roier's happy and complacent again, Cellbit is much happier than he was, neither are itching to revolt or anything.

So Cellbit is brought into the family business, whether he likes it or not. It guarantees a life with Roier after the experiment, not that he knows that. And it's fine! He's even getting along with Cucurucho these days! He's doing good work, and he may not be happy about it now, but he'll get there before too long.

It's settled with:

"What if I'm a Federation employee?" [It's scared, hesitant, because they promised they wouldn't keep secrets from each other, and this is one hell of a secret. [Roier looks down at the floor, already anticipating a negative response, but... [But Cellbit shrugs, uncaring.] "It'll be fine," he says. "I'm already an employee, too, remember? We'll just be stuck together."

A happily ever after.
