I got a cactus with an anime face grown into it at a fair and had to hold it steady while my mom drove me home, but I couldn't touch the pot for some reason, so I was forced to hold the cactus itself. Then I went to the dirtiest pizza restaurant I've ever seen with my whole family and ordered fettuccine alfredo.

Maybe my problem is that I haven’t had real cheese or cream in many months. Maybe a good cream sauce of a bed of pasta would fix me. Or perhaps even a cheesecake.

Also just let it be known, I watched my child literally eat straight onion right out of my otherwise empty burger carton tonight. By choice. I picked the onions off my burger and this child every ate last bit of them. Little One is LAWLESS.

Cafe Alfredo’s - Easton Ave in Somerset, NJ
After thoroughly enjoying my slice from Lubrano’s, I went one shopping center over to check out Cafe Alfredo’s, another well-reviewed pizzeria in the area. Upon walking in I was immediately interested by the delicious smells coming from the kitchen. However, I was much less impressed by how unappetizing a lot of the specialties looked. I settled on a pepperoni, which seemed like a pretty safe bet that looked fairly good. Unfortunately, the taste didn’t match up. It was pretty flavorless all the way through, with dry crust and not quite enough pepperoni to cover the slice. Pretty disappointing for a slice that cost $3.21. I still might give them another chance as they had these garlic knot chicken cutlet sandwiches that looked incredible, but I think I will pass on the za next trip.
