im just gonna say it and y'all can cancel me later...if jakolas calling jake 'the real Colin bridgerton' isn't the most revealing truth about these people idk what is. to me, it's proof of their excessive self insertion.

proof that they don't care about Jake, they just need a stand in for Colin because Nicola is the real life Penelope they've projected onto. proof that Luke failed to live up to their fantasies of a lovesick Colin happy to bask in Penelope (or Nicola's) light and be her accessory/obedient purse-holding bf and is thus shaded constantly, all his achievements dismissed.

Scourge of the Depths (Test)

Went slightly insane imagining a new Depths fight after seeing this post by @edgy-dragon-trash so here's part one (of hopefully several).

The way I imagine this fight going is this:

You're in the depths and come across the enormous Gerudo Dark Skeleton. There's a chest hidden underneath it and Link opens it up, expecting loot (maybe even a cool new outfit!) And look! There's something called "Ancient Prophet's Robes"

However, before you can add the outfit to your inventory the robes suddenly fill with the spirit of their previous owner (Astor, the prophet of doom). As the Grandmaster Poe, he has control over the spirits of the depths (I'm imagining it's sort of like how he stole the souls from those Yiga in AoC) and uses them to do a variety of area-of-effect attacks. The ribs of the giant skeleton enclose the area like an arena . . . for the first phase of the fight.

Phase two (which I'm hoping to animate or at least draw in some way) begins when Link finally weakens the Grandmaster Poe. It seems to retreat for a second . . . and then you realize that it's simply regrouped, and is animating the giant skeleton--Leviathan, Nightmare-Guardian of the Depths

Is it just me or have you warmed up alittle more to DAV? i know you already didn't hate it completely and i liked that you still talked about its flaws without being a complete hater but it feels like you've kinda accepted it into your dragon age stratosphere now more than before lol /positive

it helps that i have a character i'm attached to and can play into more seamlessly with the game LOL

in all honestly tho I respect people who like heartbreak girl or easier or don’t stop, especially when it comes down to it being this is my first 5sos song how am I not suppose to feel a way about it bc there is something incredibly special about the moment when you go oh this is it and as much as it’s like yes I am personally tired of this song over the others in their discography also it didn’t age well, I also get it. there’s a moment when you know and if there’s a particular song tied to that then all the love to you and it. I’m glad it’s gotten the live performances and different versions it has. I’m glad there’s part of integral to the band as well.

like obviously overspending on shit you're never going to touch isn't a great thign but like 'game you've been eyeing for years and you feel ready to play so you bought it and then never touched it for various reasons' isn't like a sin or burden to bear like who gives a shit you play it when you play it and if you don't then oh well the whole concept of like a backlog isn't some penance you need to take it's just a collection of shit you are interested in or were interested in or will be interested in and you get to it when you get to it. stop thinking of it as a task you must complete go with the flow and vibe with it when you vibe with it.
