Pandora, the first mortal woman created by Hephaestus, was warned not to open the jar offered by Zeus as a present, but when her curiosity overpowered her, she opened the lid, releasing ills and evils into the world. When King Pentheus, in his arrogance, denied the divinity of Dionysus, the god bewitched the king’s mother and aunts who tore the man apart, thinking him a lion. It has a bit of a unique concept where you collect digital model horses. While normally I prefer games where you can actually keep "real" horses, I think this is a cute idea and since it will be free to play when it comes out, I intend to play it.

See, this is the frustrating thing. Catradora COULD'VE been good enemies to lovers but, like someone wrote elsewhere, if both of them thought that the other was brainwashed.

"Catra, what the Horde is doing is wrong! Come with me, we'll escape together!" "What? No! Did the princesses brainwash you? Oh no they brainwashed you. Look, I'll just bring you back home and it'll all be okay."

"Catra still believes that the Horde is doing the right thing. I need to defeat her but I don't want to hurt her too badly." "Adora still believes that the Princesses aren't the villains here. I need to defeat her but I don't want to hurt her too badly."

Cue whole episodes of vaguely piney battles where both of them are holding back and eyeing each other longingly.

(Someone wrote somewhere that the incest could've been avoided if Adora was raised by Hordak and Catra by SW. This would also tie Hordak's and Adora's arcs together via "okay so I was born to become a weapon/soldier but fuck that I'm so much more than that.")

Princess prom allowing them to temporarily forget about the conflict and have fun like they used to. The dance is more reciprocal than "Catra smirking down at clearly uncomfortable Adora."

Shadow Weaver: alright, Catra, you suck at bringing Adora back. Let's just brainwash- uuuh, I mean magically undo the brainwashing the princesses did to her and bring her home. "But I don't wanna brainwash he-" DID I STUTTER.

Catra targeting Glimmer and Bow bc she perceives them as fake friends who have brainwashed Adora. All the spiel about "they don't really care about you they care about She-Ra's power" isn't manipulation, but something she genuinely believes.

Catra advancing at force captain and taking on more power, but in the process gradually realising that what the Horde is doing IS wrong. Cue an internal crisis because oops, everything she's known all her life is a lie. No, no! She refuses to accept that (Aka breakdown time) and kickstarts the faulty portal.

The portal Catra is twisted and deeply unlike herself, at her absolute and utter worst.

Post-Portal, Catra wakes up and, instead of doubling down, realises that she made a MASSIVE FUCK OFF MISTAKE and spends all of season 4 working on her redemption arc, having moral crises, beginning to feel more and more terrible about the past 3 seasons.

She joins the alliance at the end of s4 (gasp, cliffhanger!) and the rest do the cast slowly grow to trust her throughout the season. That's when she realises that Adora really wasn't brainwashed and APOLOGISES for all the things she did and thought.

"Hey Catra?" "Yeah?" "It's good to have you back." [cue blushing as C and A realise how badly they missed each other now that they have no more reasons to fight]

Catra being gradually incorporated into the best friend squad and she, Bow AND Glimmer all help Adora break through HPrime's virus thingy in a parallel to season 1 where Adora is supported by ALL her friends, not just her gf.

Hooray, the evil is defeated! Uh, what now? Okay, either they come to the conclusions that they lcoe each other separately and confess after HPrime's been defeated and there's nothing in their way anymore, or there's like a mid-combat confession played for laughs like "this is mad sweet of you but we don't have time for this!" "WE MIGHT NOT SURVIVE TO HAVE THE TIME LATER" and a tender moment after the battle where maybe Catra is patching Adora up in contrast of all the times they spent beating the crap out of each other.

Shit, Bow could tentatively give her tips on how to be a good friend!

She'd have a harder time with Glimmer because Glimmer never forgave her for the Angela thing, but Catra tries and feels bad and maybe even begs her for forgiveness. (please, I didn't know it would come to that. You can punch me if you want.) And feeling genuine remorse. (My mother figure was shit. Yours looked okay. I'm really sorry for taking that away from you.) Etc etc

This really isn't a hard character arc to plot, Nate. Look, I did it in like 15 minutes while dicking around at work. Easy peasy.

Hello, My Lovely Spring Rolls!

To celebrate such milestones in my personal (birthday! woot woot!) and tumblr (500 followers!) life, I will be hosting my first-ever (and hopefully the beginning of more) sleepover for all of us to enjoy!

I've only been actively posting my stories on this site since October 2022 and truthfully, you guys have been such a blast and I cannot thank you enough for the support and love you continuously give.

I’ve got some big news!

Well… It includes a short story written by me!

I’m so proud that my story is part of this new universe. The book celebrates human neurodiversity, with a focus on own voices stories told from the perspective of folks who are neurodivergent themselves, featuring autism, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, synesthesia, anxiety, and more. Representation is so important - I personally can't wait for this anthology to come out!

I'm just sitting here thinking about how on Milo's route, he's now had two of his lovers die in his arms. Is therapy a thing in the night market? Can we please get him some? I just feel so awful for him.

I think he did all this mainly to protect Hazel. He even tells us that he would do anything for her. She is his sister, his only remaining family, he couldn't protect Ever and he couldn't save Malcolm but he is determined to keep Hazel and her home safe at any cost.

He really loves with all his heart, I can understand how seeing him so desperate, the market decided to give him someone who would love him and want to protect him. Too bad it all backfired horribly.

I just really want a happy ending for him and MC. Somehow.

Also, want to give him a hug and a cookie.

You know what is funny? I didn't even think of that fact that he had two lovers dying in his arms until this ask came through. And it actually changed a few things about how he will be approached in the upcoming stories and book. Therapy will most likely be needed. LOL! We might need to add that kind of character within book 2 for everyone.

You are not wrong about your Hazel suspicion either. Hazel for a very long time, was all that he had left in this world. Was the only one he felt looked at him for him. It is unfortunate the price that will now have to be paid for that.

As for a happy ending between him and MC? I think it can be possible. Hopefully my writing next book conveys that. Because I don't want a magic fix. And I don't want MC to just be starry eyed at him again. I want the ability for this to be something that is worked through. Because I think that will be a far more delicious rout.

It's smutty, delicious, laugh out loud funny, our reader is fabulous, and just an utter joy to read. Highly recommend! Mochi is a fantastic writer, please go check out their other works in their masterlist, each one is a treat.

Gossip! by @/bloompompom (Eren x f!reader, nsfw) - another fantastic series that is on-going. I think you may be following her already, but if not, bloomy is an incredible writer and I recommend each and every single one of her works (binge her entire masterlist whenever you can, you won't regret it)! This series has me by the fucking THROAT. It's rockstar!eren x pop star!reader, enemies-to-lovers, need I say more? I don't want to give too much away because I think it's better if you just read it for yourself, but I am in LOVE with this series. Constantly on the edge of my seat, salivating for the chapter!

method acting by @/seeingivy (Eren x f!reader, sfw) - yet another fabulous series by another fabulous writer. ronnie always amazes me with her talent. it's an actor!au (can you tell I love my aus?!) full of angst, drama, FLUFF, everything you want in a series. I absolutely love the world-building in this. When you get a chance, please do check out her masterlist because it's a goldmine full of treasure.

Jujutsu Kaisen:

Office Crush by @/todorosie (Choso x f!reader, nsfw) - CHOSO CHOSO CHOSO!!! I love this fic so much, I cannot stress this enough. He is so shy and sweet in this. And I love our reader because she is gentle with him. This is peak romance, it seriously made my heart flutter when I read it. also, spoiler alert: car sex 🤭. IT'S A MUST READ. You may be following her already, but if not, check out Sorin's other works because they're all spectacular.

I mean, I could go on and on with other recommendations, but these are just a few that come to mind that I think you'd enjoy! also, shocking, but I didn't include any Nanami bc I'm trying to change it up a bit lol. Also, apologies if you've already read these!

"Clytemnestras Wrath"

Here we are folks! Its all been leading up to this climactic, grisly act. Ancient horror at its finest! Clytemnestra has ushered Agamemnon into the house under the guise of a loyal, loving wife. And even with Cassandras poor pleas to the chorus, she could not escape her own demise under the blades of the queens double axe! The chorus hears the violence, and they separate and panic, calling out different suggestions, but unable to unify on how to act on the horror. But now, its too late. The doors re-open, and Clytemnestra appears holding her double headed axe over the her victims caught in a net like a spiders web. 

In previous versions of this myth, Clytemnestra's lover AEGISTHUS (and Agamemnon's cousin) is the killer. But here, Aeschylus has the the wronged wife, still furious over her daughter's sacrifice, perform the dark deed herself. Indeed, when the chorus try to denounce and exile her, she counters by asking them where was their decrees of banishment for Agamemnon when he sacrificed her daughter? So, this is one thing i really love about Greek tragedy, is that, even when these characters perform actions we may find repugnant, we can still empathize. These characters exist in shades of grey. Amazingly complex and elegant for such ancient tales. 

But this harrowing tale is far from over, for in the 2nd play of this Oresteia trilogy; "The Libation Bearers," Clytemnestra's son, ORESTES, journeys home to avenge his father. Will he be able to kill his own mother? his own flesh and blood? And if so, what will the consequences on his soul be for such a blasphemous act? i don't envy this character's moral dilemma one bit!
