I swear part of this fandom downplays the Hexsquad friendship.

The amount of people who seem to think that especially with the main trio that they would have left each other out of their birthday.

ok, I wanna clarify something real quick: 

Willow’s arc is about gaining confidence in herself after YEARS of being bullied and being enrolled in a track she was horrible at PLUS one of her ex-friends was a bystander, and she also learns to control her strong plant magic in which she used to not be able to control until now, and they’re connected to whenever she’s experiencing VERY STRONG emotions, typically negative feelings, like stress, worry, and anger. 

Gus ALSO had insecurities in himself, but it was because he’s in the illusions track and illusions are/were looked down upon and seen as a joke, WITH THE ADDITION of being moved up two grades? or two years ahead because he’s a prodigy, and people were always using him as well! And he ALSO has glowing eyes, but blue instead of green.  

Their arcs definitely have similarites, but they are NOT THE SAME!!!! GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT!!!

The Demon Realm discover Fancy Rats Part 1

Luz decided to show her friends and allies the adorableness that is the domesticated Fancy Rat, and here was their reactions.

Amity Blight: Poor girl had to keep Ghost as far away from the poor soul as possible. Ghost wasn't going to eat it, but they were going to play with it but the rat was terrified and hid in Luz' hoodie. When she got to hold it, she felt like it was equivelant to holding a slinky because it wouldn't stay still and wanted to climb up her arms.

Willow Park: "Oh. My. Titan! It's so cute!!!" Willow automatically fell in love with the tiny critter and just proceeded to give it all kinds of love and attention. The rat in return gave her gentle kisses on her hands, which tickled because of its whiskers.

Hunter Wittebane: Believe it or not, Hunter actually had experiences with fancy rats before, and that was because of Eda. Eda had "aquired" one and was going to eat it when she was in her owl beast mode, but it luckily escaped and was somehow found by Hunter. Hunter found the critter to be quite endearing, and so he kept it as a pet...for about three days until it got out and Belos came across it. There was an intense stare down as he processed what he was looking at, and when he did. He screamed. Very loudly. Hunter, Lilith, and Kikimora ran into the throne room to see Belos, mask off, pale as a ghost, about five feet in the air due to having climbed a pillar and yelling about Hunter's rat. "My Emperor, it's just a little rat. It's harm-" "GET THAT PLAGUE-RIDDEN THING OUT OF HERE!" Hunter immediately knelt down and the rat quickly ran towards him and climbed into his hands. "Uncle, why are you scared of rats?" "THEY BRING ONLY DISEASE AND FAMINE!"

Edric and Emira Blight: Ed and Em both agreed that while the rat was cute, and that they would love to own one of their own...their mom hates them. Odalia shares Belos' mindset of rats being nothing more than disgusting, dirty animals that don't belong in the house. Luckily, Alador got the twins one and keeps it in his lab for them.

Gus Porter: "Humans keep these as pets?" Gus couldn't believe that something so small, and so fuzzy could be kept as a pet. But after he was handed one and when it boggled at him, he believed it. It was so cute, he actually almost started crying.
