i actually spent like half an hour looking for the best name, here’s some info on it:

vanina means "brings good news" in spanish and portuguese

it is also an alternate spelling of vania (latin): pet form of evangelina

i thought it would be funny to name her like that and she’s like “i bring good news; i killed 20 people :D”

also nina is a cute nickname

oh and her left eye is non functional due to carelessness whoops

ive GOTTA appreciate how legitimately forever kidnapped dapper tho. lured dapper to Secondary Location on the basis of being their uncle (and someone who their dad cares about a lot). was acting Weird, but otherwise trying to be nice. lying to dapper about wanting to make amends with bad and asking for advice. luring dapper into secondary location pt2 (the hallway) under the guise of going somewhere else with him, then asking them a question and shooting them down while they were distracted with the sign. the only real hiccup was that dapper didn't fall into the pit when @v@ pressed the button, but i dont care because then there were the conveyor belts that FORCED DAPPER THROUGH AN ITEM SCANNER. and. man!!! that was awesome that was a Legitimate Kidnapping. im sure dapper as the beast they are have ways of crawling through the fucking walls or somehting but. yknow im delighted that dapper's 7th kidnapping gives them Legitimate Reason to have been taken and stay kidnapped. thank you ccforever what a king

Allow me to recommend one more awesome Bobadin fic - since @sidhebeingbrand and @toughbreaks were kind enough to let me illustrate their fic for my "Jaster lives" square for @bobadinweek's Bobadin AU bingo card... with a bit of cheating - my love for which only grows and grows with time (and trust me, it does get better with every re-read! ). Fantastic and delightful world building with Victorian era and fae magic, and beautifully written characters where every single one of them vibrate with life. (Boba gets to suffer his 99 siblings, Jango is forced through some emotional catharsis kicking and screaming, and Din is trying his best to be a dad of a fae child. It's just the best, okay?) I'll eventually want to make one more drawing for chapter 2, I just realized during my latest re-read that I imagined the whole scene wrong ^^;

Wednesday: *becomes more puzzled as to why enid hasn't said or shown any response* "You are an incessant talker, yet decide to remain quiet on this matter. Why?"
