EXCERPT:

Lena’s new devastating problem is Kara herself. 

It’s less than half an hour from the appointed meeting time with Florence, and Kara has put her head in Lena’s lap, stretched out over the rest of their blanket. Absolutely and utterly endearing, Lena simply cannot stop her hand from stroking Kara’s godlike locks. 

Dammit, why does Kara have to look so kissable? 

Lena is supposed to be preparing for what is likely to be a trying meeting, and yet, Nia is curled up sleeping on the other side of her, Kara’s head is in her lap, and the moon has the audacity to rise and shower the scene in an ethereal glow. The moonlight and shadows casts Kara’s muscles in perfect clarity, with how they bulge in her shirt, the cut of her jaw, and her gorgeous eyes that are looking up at her, a smile curving her oh-so-kissable lips.

Lena’s heart can’t take it. 

Normally, she can avoid situations like this. Keep her secret desire for Kara Zor-el Danvers silent and locked up in a box, but since Kara’s resurrection, Lena’s boxes have failed. Unraveled over time, and after today’s lovely adventures?

How is she supposed to not fall a little more in love with Kara? Especially after the ferry incident?

So lemme get this straight… Kara/Lena on SGCW = baited, open ended, Lena Luthor a hero Kara/Lena in DC CW comics = baited, open ended, Lena Luthor a hero Kara/Lena in future DC comics/movies = TBD, anything could happen

Meanwhile...

Kara/Mon-El on SGCW = ended forever Legion of Super-Heroes animated movie = Mon-El a villain, no romance

New DC Comics = Mon-El related to Kara, no romance Between all this + major DC artists and writers proving to be pro-Kara/Lena, I’d say “Supercorp” could still happen at some point in really any media, meanwhile Mon-El is a character that may never recover from the awful SGCW version and “Karamel” is dead forever in all versions so far. 

Interesting, and ironic.

P.S. Happy for KaraDox fans in the meantime, since the LOSH animated film apparently leans into that. I’ve never had any issues with that duo, though obviously I still think Supercorp is 100% the future as far as Kara’s romantic destiny if they want her to have an iconic, Clois or BatCat type of a lasting legacy that stands the test of time, as far as love interests are concerned.

Guys here me out

Katie Mcgrath Should play Nico Robin in the One Piece live action series. Here are my reasons

PROS:

-She fucking looks like her.

-Whoever plays Robin needs to look older than Emily Rudd (who plays Nami). Emily is 30. Nami and Robin have a 10 year age gap in the anime. Katie is 40.

-If you are a Katie stan like myself you know she is a geek. IDK if she knows one piece, but the rest of the one piece cast is also a bunch of geeks. She would fit right in.

-If watch one piece in japanese with English subtitles, you cant deny Katie has the same relative voice tone as the japanese voice actor for Robin.

-The folks in charge of casting for this series are definitely avoiding big names judging by the first season. As much as she might be a household name among LGBTQ women, she is not a big name actress.

-Robin is an archaeologist. Katie has a degree in history. This probably wont be a huge point in the second live action season, bc shes in her Miss All-Sunday Era in the Alabasta Arc, but it's important to keep in mind.

-Robin is always reading. If you are a Katie stan like myself you know Katie is also always reading.

CONS.

-Robin is absurdly tall, like 6 foot+. Ideally her live action character should be in the upper 5 foot range (5'8"-5'11" imo). Katie is 5'6" :(. HOWEVER, this can be fixed with tall ass high heel boots.

-Yes, Robin will be 28 when first introduced, and again, Katie is 40. HOWEVER, Katie has played characters 10+ years younger than her actual age before (Lena Luthor) and you cant fucking tell.

-Robin is Russian... Katie is Irish. HOWEVER, Her degree in history I mentioned earlier??? ITS RUSSIAN HISTORY.

Torn on the new potential Supergirl castings and not because Sasha Calle isn’t getting to continue the role. It’s unfortunate because I feel she had a lot of potential and might’ve just been a case of right person, wrong time but I accept that it is what it is. Anyway, for the new Kara Zor-El (Danvers?), I think Meg Donnelly will get the role.

Pro: I can’t explain it but I think Meg Donnelly ever so slightly looks more like Supergirl than Milly Alcock.

Pro: I feel like she has a slight edge over Milly having played the role of Supergirl pretty well in the TomorrowVerse.

Pro-adjacent note: Were she to be cast, I think it officially puts an end to the TomorrowVerse. It felt like that writing was on the wall when they went straight to Crisis on Infinite Earths without a proper Justice League movie beforehand, but I don’t think Gunn would have his Supergirl actress continue to voice the same character in a non-DCU connected universe. Though I really appreciated them turning Mon El into a villain, I can’t say I’ll miss it.

Con: Meg is less recognizable than Milly Alcock, who was in House of the Dragon. Superman has a tendency to cast more unknown actors but I believe the rest of DCU is going to have a balance of well known and lesser known actors for their big roles. I could see Supergirl being an instance where they try to cast a more well known actor to draw attention and put butts in seats.

Con: I don’t have any expectations for a canon LGBTQ Supergirl in live action and I’m perfectly content knowing I’ll probably have to headcanon her meeting and falling in love with a DCU Lena Luthor that will probably never be seen in live action. However, by all accounts, Meg Donnelly seems straight and she gives off more straight girl energy, like I’m not sure she could convincingly play queer. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means, it’s just not ideal for what I personally would want out of a Supergirl casting.

Some Kara Danvers headcanons.

The poll from last week ended with 60% of you saying “Yes Please”. So it’s time for me to make some headcanons of Kara from the My Universe au that I’ve been making. Just remember that, as always, these are karamel focused, Pro Mon El, anti Lena Luthor and anti supercorp. I’ll even link the Mon El one down below. Got that? Good. Then let’s begin.

She’s still nice and a good person. But she’s got an edge. If you piss her off. You’ll know about it. Wether by yelling, half jokingly threatening to throw out her apartment window or baking you inedible cupcakes. Just ask Samantha Arias after she thirsted after Clark one too many times. You don’t want to make Kara angry.

Isn’t friends with Lena. She was going to attempt a friendship. Then the morally bankrupt shit bitch brought out the alien detection device. So Kara reported her to the DEO, made a tell all exposé and washed her hands of the entire Luthor bloodline.

When sorting out the seating arrangements for her and Mon El’s wedding she put Cat and Carter Grant on Mon El’s side of the venue because Mon El doesn’t have any family on earth and Carter has started treating him like the brother he never had.

Has her own office at CatCo. Luckily it’s not made of glass so Mon El can always visit her for uh “lunchtime activities”. Don’t worry. Lunch still gets eaten. This is Kara Danvers who were talking about here after all.

Is less likely to give female villains like Siobhan Smythe, Leslie willis and Lena Luthor the benefit of the doubt. One chance. And if you fail. She’ll fight you like she would any other villain. Unless you actively put the work in to change. Which none of the three listed have ever even begun to do.

Is like Blanche Devereaux when it comes to Mon El. Much to Alex’s increasing horror. But hey. It’s Alex’s own fault for never knocking.

J’onn gave her away at her and Mon El’s wedding. Eliza offered. But Kara decided she wanted J’onn to walk her down the aisle. And as a compromise. Eliza officiated.

Still a top notch babysitter. Although she’s gotten into a rather nasty habit of making (not very) “fun pizzas”. But don’t worry. Mon El’s the better cook.

Likes to organise girls nights out for her, Alex, Kelly, Nia, Lucy and Samantha. Cat does sometimes forces her way in. Alex isn’t allowed to choose the activity anymore though. Not after all of that extremely unpleasant business with the mojitos, a butterfly knife, Lillian’s suv and Alex’s pogo stick.

To match Mon El’s Private Use wardrobe. Kara has, among others, a Ruby the Demon wig, a Scarlet Witch costume, an Emma Swan leather jacket and a Dark One Emma costume. And yes. All get extremely frequent mileage.

Summary: What if superheroes had to pay a property damage tax every time they had a fight in the city?

Lillian sighed as she watched the clock at Noonan’s gradually tick away the time. She felt a sudden squeeze of her hand. She looked to the seat next to her at the restaurant to see Martha smiling back at her. 

“Everything is going to be okay. The worst that can happen is that Amanda won’t tell us anything and send us on our way.”

Lillian gave her a soft smile. She reached down and kissed Martha’s hand and said, “I’m more concerned that she will rat us out to Lex more so anything else.”

Martha raised an eyebrow and asked, “Is that why you suggested meeting at Noonan’s instead of the office?”

Lillian sighed and said, “Lex is lax with watching over me, but you can never be too careful. Both Amanda and I frequent this restaurant enough that it wouldn’t be unusual for us to bump into each other and have a few words.”

Martha looked at Lillian baffled and asked, “Wait? You guys see each other here often?”

Lillian leaned back in her chair and said, “Yes. Amanda and I are usually around here late morning or early afternoon. However, we tend to avoid each other.” Lillian shook her head and sighed. She continued, “Amanda and I used to be best friends in college. We came up with the idea of Cadmus during our senior year as a capstone project. We thought that there should not only be an organization that studies the extraterrestrial lifeforms that were already on Earth but also learn how to coexist with each other. I focused more on the business side of things whereas Amanda worked towards networking and getting funding. Everything went well until Zod came into the picture several years ago.”

Martha winced and said, “I hate that name with a passion.”

“You are not alone in that sentiment. It reshaped Amanda’s perception of aliens as a whole. She viewed every one of them as a threat and that they needed to be removed from Earth. Lex provided her with options to achieve that and in return, she provided him funding to support his research efforts on the subject. I objected to all of this, but she still pushed me out. Fortunately, enough people from Cadmus didn’t like Amanda’s new direction and decided to come with me as I formed my own company.”

“If you think she has so much hatred against aliens, why do you think she would talk to us.”

Lillian leaned her head back and stared up at the ceiling thoughtfully. 

“There have been rumors of Leviathan changing direction for a while now. They have always been anti-alien, but their choices in political candidates have been interesting to say to least.”

Martha looked at her quizzically and asked, “How so?”

“Well, the candidates they have supported so far are pro-alien rights and making reforms to help aliens become citizens. It is a complete 180. Lex wasn’t willing to cooperate with their changes so he was cut off. Amanda has used funding from Leviathan in the past. I am curious to see if she followed the road Lex took in regards to them, or if she fell in line to their new policy. If she did, we may be able to get something out of her.”

Martha nodded and said, “I like that particular theory. Hopefully, it doesn’t take that long to get information out of her. I have so much to do to prepare for tonight.” 

Lillian smirked and asked, “Worried about meeting the children I see?”

Martha pouted which caused Lillian to smile. She loved teasing Martha just a tiny bit. 

Lillian caressed Martha’s face and said, “You don’t have to worry. Sam, Lena, and Ruby will adore you as much as I do.”

Martha looked down while twiddling her thumbs and said, “Well, Lena has kind of avoided me with everything with Clark. I just worried that she might…”

Lillian kissed Martha’s hand which caused her to blush.

“Lena is more than okay with everything. All three girls are happy that I have put myself back out there.”

Martha smiled and said, “Still, I want to make a good impression and make sure that everything goes smoothly.”

Lillian smiled and said, “It will darling. I am just as eager to meet Kara. I have never seen Lena this happy before. It is like she is floating on cloud nine everyday.”

Martha chuckled and said, “I am not surprised. Kara is a bundle of sunshine that will brighten anyone’s day. I just wished that some of that would rub off on Clark. He used to be so optimistic, but now….”

Lillian squeezed Martha’s hand and said, “Hopefully this stuff with Lex will give us insight into Clark. I don’t have any proof, but I am willing to bet money that Lex has something to do with Clark’s behavioral changes.”

“I wouldn’t be surprised if he did,” said a woman’s voice. 

Lillian and Martha nearly jumped out of their seats. They turned to see a black woman of medium build and short black hair staring at them. She had on a blue business suit. Lillian quickly change her expression to surprise to passive. 

The woman smirked and said, “You are losing your touch Lillian. It is nice to see that I can still take you by surprise.” 

The woman pulled up a chair and sat down with them. 

Lillian sighed and said, “It is nice to see you too, Amanda.”

Amanda smirked while she turned towards Martha and said, “I am assuming that since you brought Superman’s mother that you are wondering about if Lex had anything in store for him.”

Martha looked at her startled and asked, “How….”

Amanda chuckled and said, “Lex wasn’t very subtle about his infatuation with your son.”

Martha glared at the woman while gripping the table until her knuckles went white. 

Martha growled, “Yet you help a mad man hurt my son over and over again.”

Amanda sighed  while leaning back in her chair and said, “Would you believe me if I told you it was never my attention that he got hurt?”

Martha scoffed and said, “Don’t insult my intelligence.”

Amanda chuckled and said, “Well, I did want your son neutralized after the events with Zod.”

Martha winced at that statement. 

Amanda sighed and said, “And before you say anything, I realized that your son was being controlled by Zod. However, that fight between them caused over 200 people to die. Most had the nuance of separating Superman from that. He was drugged after all. However, your son isn’t normal. What if he is drugged or mind controlled again? Who is there to stop him. The Justice League was barely able to contain him the last time. We need measures in place for if that were to occur.”

was thinking of this post (i also have a screenshot of the post at the end) and now i can't stop thinking of a uni!supercorp au set in the fucking philippines like

au is set in 2016. this is very vital to the story

lena's an international student to dlsu manila for a term (i was thinking business rich kid [so dlsu] and not lawyer/politician rich kid [admu]) bc when lillian suggested she join an international exchange program lena decided to choose the country the farthest away from lillian's influence (luthor corp has no hold in most of SEA [minus singapore obvs] and lena chose the philippines mostly because of the slightly less difficult language barrier) and majors in both science and business courses

kara got into up diliman through blood, sweat, and tears. her parents were researchers during the marcos era who were killed during martial law. kara was adopted by the danvers as jeremiah was the zor-els' co-worker and eliza was a traveling doctor. the danvers took kara and alex back to the states (usa) but kara wanted to figure out how and why her parents died and the ph is a great place to get a journalism degree so she studied up on not only the language but ph culture, history, and news as well before transferring to the ph the summer before her third year of high school. alex got a job as a medical consultant in the ph soon after and the two live together in qc (quezon city)

kara and lena meet when lena accidentally finds herself in the middle of a protest march passing through taft (kara started in up manila, not diliman hahaha)

she has no fucking idea what it's about

kara assumes lena's part of the protest and asks if she'd like to borrow one of her signs but then lena's like "what the fuck is happening"

"we're protesting marcos's burial in, uh, the national cemetery for heroes," kara explains and lena still looks so lost and kara feels both bad for the woman and awestruck that someone so beautiful exists. "marcos, like, ferdinand marcos? the country's ex-president that declared martial law, plundered the country in horrible debt, and then was banned from returning?"

lena knows some of those words, she thinks. she'd studied up on philippine history a little bit before she arrived but the textbook she'd read felt incredibly racist if not colonialist, but she's sure she read about a president declaring martial law before, so she nods as if she gets it

the protest keeps marching forward and lena finds that she can't really escape the crowd unless she wants to get crushed, so she sticks closest to kara who's both a friendly (gorgeous) face and also has the closest accent to hers

kara shares with lena more details about why they're marching and helps translate some of the more unfamiliar words of their chants

almost twenty minutes after lena accidentally joined the march, practically drenched in sweat but too moon eyed towards the blonde to care, lena finally asks where they're marching to

"to the cemetery in taguig."

taguig. taguig city. more than two hours away on foot

"oh."

when kara sees lena's face fall, she gently takes lena's wrist and manages to maneuver them to the side of the protest, away from the wave of people. kara asks what's wrong and lena admits that she's already super fucking tired and would never be able to finish the march

kara understands and decides to accompany lena while they wait for a grab ride to arrive. as lena orders her ride, kara texts her activist and journalism friends to let them know that she won't be at the final rally anymore

while they wait, they learn more about each other and find themselves even more smitten than when they first met (sometime during this part, kara also gives lena one of her extra shirts [because she's a seasoned commuting pro and knows to never leave home without an extra shirt and small towel] so lena's just looking super comfy and cute in kara's shirt)

when lena's ride arrives, kara double checks the grab because she's That Kind of person before helping her in

"thanks for waiting with me. it was nice meeting you," lena says and kara smiles, wide and toothy.

"it was nice meeting you, too. ingat!" and kara closes the card door before she remembers to even ask for lena’s number

still, the lack of contact details doesn't deter her. she knows enough about lena that hopefully dropping by dlsu more often would mean being able to see her again

and she does

anyways if this was a short fic I'd def end it around here with kara and lena getting that date but if it were a long fic then i'd 100% make kara investigate and study the ejks (extra judicial killings) during duterte's time and lena learning and falling in love with the ph the way kara has which includes lena learning how to commute (which someday, when she leads l-corp, means that she helps build and fund a better fucking public transport system)

this was suuuuppppeeer fun to even just think about and I can't promise I'll write it but just this idea has me pumped! hope the 3 pinoys who see this enjoy 💕

In this universe everybody uses fountain pens because why the heck not.

I think I covered a couple of these before, but let's ignore all of that and start anew(ish). We'll take it one at a time because it's a LOT.

Lena Luthor: Pelikan Souverän Anthracite

We've been over this one, even if I've gone back and forth on several pens for Lena, but this is always one of my favourites. This is the perfect CEO-style pen to wag over Clark Kent's face when he brings up the 'Ah, but it's not, it's Luthor' thing. Perfect placeholder for the blue pen she inevitably gets later for. Reasons.

Kara Danvers: Karas Kustoms

Listen, just the perfect name aside (yes, this is a real brand!), I feel like Kara would need something sturdy, nigh indestructible, for the obvious reasons. Maybe the DEO could arrange for one of these made of N metal or whatever that's called.

Alex Danvers: Pilot Vanishing Point (matte black)

Alex doesn't have time for your shit, my shit, or anyone's shit because she's got too much shit going on with a superhero sister, a dubious government organization, aliens, and being a big ol' gay. She does not have time for this capping and uncapping nonsense, so she gets a clicky fountain pen for optimum efficiency. Additionally, I like to think that Alex, like me, would also click this thing incessantly because who needs therapy when you have a clicky pen?!

J'onn J'onnz: Diplomat Elox Green/Black

OK, I have no backstory for this one. This pen just looked COOL. I feel like it fits both DEO J'onn and the Martian Manhunter. Though I guess when he becomes a private eye he switches to something more understated, like a Schon DSGN Black Ultem.

Nia Nal: Pilot Metropolitan (Retro Pop)

These are just fun. Nia's fun. That's pretty much my rationale for it. I also think she'd have a whole bunch of them (since they're excellent but inexpensive!) to collect all colours (and because she keeps misplacing them). At first I thought Nia would collect all the Lamy Safari colours, but these seemed to suit her better. At some point Lena gifts her a Sailor Pro Gear special edition (something colorful, naturally!)

Brainy: Lamy 2000 (stainless Steel)

Brainy will never admit he likes fountain pens (he keeps saying he's far too advanced for such a primitive thing) but he falls in love with the modern/futuristic design of the Lamy 2000 and has to sheepishly ask Nia to recommend some cool inks to go with it.

She gives him bright pink and they both love it. All DEO memos are pink thereafter.

Kelly Olsen: Sailor Pro Gear (Green)

I kept going back and forth over several options, but finally landed on this pen because I get the feeling Kelly would take a ton of notes professionally, so she would need a) a professional pen and b) a comfortable nib. She'd be very methodical with her note-taking and Alex would drive her bonkers with her incessant clicking with the Pilot!

Amnesia au: Kara is asked by the president to go Argo on a diplomatic mission to broker a trading agreement, alongside press-secretary Cat Grant. With each one representing an extreme opinion on Kryptonians. Cat being pro-Kryptonians and Kara being more antagonistic towards the idea (but not villainous, she’s just naturally world weary and distrusting after being with the Luthors). Once there Kara experiences an eerie feeling of deja vu that she can’t explain as she asks to speak with the head of the Science Guild: Lena Zor-El. Lena is more open, hopeful, eager, and a bit naive after her being with Alura on Argo. She’s even opened her mind to studying myths on the Witches of Krypton. So, her and Kara but heads a little when they first meet. Even though each feels like they’ve met the other before, but brush it aside. Kara’s a bit condescending towards Lena’s hopefulness and naivety (she doesn’t dislike her, in fact she’s more amused by it). The trading agreement falls through, due to the fact L-Corp would be overseeing the Argo tech distribution, thanks to Alura’s distrust of the Luthors (after hearing about them from Clark). Lena though decides Kara had a point and asks Alura if she can go to Earth to secretly live amongst them to see if what Kara said is true. Cat overhears (before leaving) and offers to help by setting her up with a friend at the DEO to help her create a new identity on earth. And her friend happens to be second in-command at the DEO Alex Danvers.

Earth–129916 is a universe that I have been writing for a few months for a series of stories that I will publish in AO3. The stories will be published first in my native language (Spanish); later, I will translate them into English.

Laurel Lance, Oliver's ex, had a far better and more mature response to being told by Slade, Season 2's Big Bad on Arrow, Oliver's big secret than Lena, who never dated Kara, had to HER secret.

Laurel literally thought that running away with Oliver onto his boat, so he could cheat with her, was what killed her sister for 6 years. Everybody thought Sara was dead for that long (the first time). He cheated on her with multiple other women. Among other things she had legitimate reason to be pissed at him for.

And yet, when Slade told her Oliver was The Arrow... she didn't go to the police. She didn't call the press. She didn't set out this elaborate plan for revenge (Slade told her to enact his own plan for revenge). No. She did not.

She was a lawyer. She sought the truth. She was so dedicated to the truth she worked pro bono for a nonprofit. She did her homework and proved to herself that Slade was right. She then approached Oliver's partners, Felicity and Diggle, and they worked together to help Oliver. She JOINED THE FIGHT *against* the villain.

Unlike Lena, who did none of those things, and in some cases the opposite, even though as a scientist, she should have known better. She should have tested and weighed evidence and sought the root cause of why Kara kept that secret.

Or, you know, womaned up and actually talked to the supposed love of her life.

The writers did Laurel dirty, but at least she showed more emotional maturity than Lena Luthor. And this was AFTER achieving sobriety, a process that started after she realized she'd been blaming everyone else for her problems for a long time.

Basically, Laurel was much more hurt and betrayed by Oliver and still, she acted like a mature person, not a whiny psychopatic baby.

Not. Fucking. Telling. A. Fucking. Secret. And this two-faced bitch reacted with manipulating, lying, gaslighting and in the end torturing Kara. I don't know hom much fucked in the head some people need to be to claim she was JUST blinded by feelings and in a dark place.

People in dark place still can act like normal people. And even if they act horribly, like Lena, it's still THEIR choice to make.

No one manipulated Lena to do a shit. It was her decision to hurt Kara every way imaginable. She did it on her FREE will.

The Peace Room

Supercorptober Day 13 - Peace

The first thing Kara and Lena bonded over was how tumultuous their lives have been. The traumas they have endured and the lasting effects that it has brought upon them. The challenges that they face every day because of the things they’ve lived through.

Now they bond over something much different. They bond over healing and blissful days or relaxation. They bond over time shared together and simply being in the company of each other with no pressure to be anything else.

Over time their bond has grown stronger, not just through time but through effort and commitment. They have put time into growing and nurturing it, loving each other and not only bettering each other but also striving towards being the best people they can be for themselves and for the woman they love.

There is one room in their house in which they have spent many hours doing exactly this and through the time they have spent there, it has been dubbed ‘the peace room’.

The walls are lined with rows upon rows of books and there are the comfiest chairs positioned perfectly in front of a fireplace. There’s also a few other little things around the room that bring them so much joy, like the record player in the corner or the chessboard set up over by the window.

By far their favourite spot is the massive L-shaped couch over in the corner, the one that gives them a perfect view out of the window into their beautiful backyard and is also close enough to the fireplace for them to stay all snuggly and warm.

They always find themselves falling right into position on that couch, Lena sat in the corner, her feet propped up while Kara lies down across the other way, her head resting on a pillow in Lena’s lap.

Usually when they are in here, they read or talk. Many conversations about their relationship and life goals have occurred in this room and it is their own precious space away from the world, so much so that they don’t allow guests in there, the living room and the rest of the hose is open to all of their friends and family, but this room is theirs, even more so than their own bedroom.

“Lena?” Kara looks up from her usual place on the couch.

Lena gazes down at the woman she loves peering up at her, her book resting on her belly as she does so. “Yeah, darling.”

“You know how we said that we both want kids some day?”

Lena isn’t entirely sure where this is going, “Uh huh.”

Kara smiles up at Lena’s little creased eyebrows as she does what she calls Lena’s ‘listening face’. “How about we start to seriously look into our options soon? We both agreed that we want them but haven’t discussed how we are going to have them.”

Lena goes silent at the question and Kara recognises it for what it is. Lena always takes the time to think about her answers, to give her the best and most honest response she can knowing that Kara is always going to be happy to wait and won’t rush her to give a half-cocked response that neither of them are happy with.

“I think that we are both at optimal points in our careers to be looking into it and while I don’t feel completely ready to have a child, I don’t think I ever will be completely ready, so I would very much like to pursue those avenues with you.” Lena states after a minute.

Kara smiles up at her again, humming contentedly when Lena scrapes her fingers through her hair. “Alright then, we’ll do some research and then we can make a few pros and cons lists.”

“I love a pros and cons list.” Lena beams down at her, leaning down briefly to plant a chaste kiss to her forehead.

Kara giggles a little. “I know, that’s why I suggested it.”

“Because you’re the best wife.” Lena keeps running her fingers through Kara’s hair, gazing into those blue eyes that still look at her so full of love.

Kara loves it when Lena plays with her hair and Lena knows that Kara loves it, so she always does it when she gets the chance. “I don’t know, I think I have some pretty good competition, Mrs Luthor-Danvers.”

“You don’t want to start comparing us, darling. You know how competitive I can get.” Lena smirks with an ever so slight evil laugh. “You wouldn’t want to be smothered with love, would you?”

“I think you are underestimating how much I would like to be smothered with your love.” Kara sits up and shuffles backwards so she’s closer to Lena and can pull her into a kiss much easier.

Lena reciprocates easily, pulling at Kara’s waist until she straddles her and is as close as she can possibly get to her.

Their tongues press together, falling into the rhythm that the have long since perfected and breathing each other in deeply, cherishing the closeness and love that is being poured out into the kiss.

When Kara’s hips shift forward in search for friction Lena pulls back. “I thought we agreed to keep this a sex free zone to preserve the atmosphere in here.”

Kara whines and drops her head onto Lena’s shoulder. “I regret agreeing to that rule.”

Lena wraps her arms fully around her wife, swaying them softly. “We could always move to the bedroom though if you feel up to it.”

Kara leans back with a devilish smile. “Want to practice for having a baby?”

“I’m getting the feeling that I’m not going to be able to get you pregnant that way, unless you want to play doctor?”

“This is why I married you. You’re always full of great ideas. Do you still have a spare lab coat around here somewhere?”

Lena stands abruptly, swinging her legs off the couch and pushing up, holding Kara’s ass as she still has her legs wrapped around Lena’s waist. “How about we go find out?”

“You’re on, babe.”

“That’s Doctor Luthor-Danvers to you.”
