Angel is the cousin of Andrew and Ashley. He was sent to live with them when he was around ten years old. His parents had to get rid of him because a) they were too poor, b) they kinda regret having him, and c) he crept them out.

(Angel's mother is the sister of the siblings' father).

When Angel moved in, it was around three months after Andrew and Ashley killed Nina, so they were a bit distant from Angel, not wanting him to somehow find out about it. Over time, they got close with him and the three became inseparable. The siblings even helped Angel pick out his name (they wanted to keep the "a" pattern).

Angel is close to both of the siblings, but he does argue with them every now and then despite hating conflict. He isn't a doormat or anything. If there is something happening that Angel doesn't agree with, he will gladly argue against it, but sometimes, he finds himself refusing to argue with Andrew or Ashley in fear of them abandoning him just like his parents did. Angel was escatic when he finally got siblings since he was an only child, and he doesn't want to lose that.

Now Angel's personality can be all over the place at times. He doesn't have a lot of patience with situations or people. He sometimes act without thinking, which gets him into dangerous situations. Angel can have really bad mood swings at times-- he can be extremely happy or content with life for like half the day, but then all of a sudden, he can get really sad. This happens when he thinks about something that has happened to him or overthinks about what could happen. It can get very annoying, especially when he is having a really good day.

When Angel does get in one of his moods, the siblings have different ways of trying to help. Andrew will give him space, but also making sure that Angel knows they both love him. Ashley, being the menace she is, will invade Angel's personal space, giving him a lot of physical affection and surprisingly loving words until Angel either accepts it or snaps at her if it's an especially bad day-- to which he apologizes for later on.

Angel has trouble caring about people he isn't close to. If the people he loves the most are hurt or something, then he would be worried, but if he sees someone he barely cares about-- like a friend from school or even his parents-- crying, he finds it difficult to care. He knows he should care, and it bothers him a bit that he doesn't, but Angel just doesn't care.

It takes him a while to actually care about someone.

Angel doesn't like sleeping. He will stay up for days at a time until he is either forced to go to sleep or faints. This has led to the siblings finding him in the weirdest spots. They get very worried sometimes.

As a child, before he realized he was trans, he would call himself The King and would order the kids on the playground around, which led to the other kids not really liking him.

Speaking about him being trans, Angel didn't start questioning his gender identity until he was fourteen. Before that, he didn't really have any problem being a girl. He wasn't a girly girl or anything-- he did love boyish stuff-- but he didn't have any qualms about dressing feminine or being referred to as a girl. However, as he grew older, he became uncomfortable with all of that. After years of going through different labels, names, and pronouns, he finally settled on Angel, and uses he/him pronouns.

Lastly, he really likes the outside, so when he was in quarantine, it pained him to be stuck inside all day for months.

At the end of your performance, the man cheered loudly. Full on cheered, despite everyone else in the theatre simply clapping quietly.

He interested you with his sparkly eyes and bright smile. But, you knew you couldn't be interested. Your boss absolutely despised this guy. So, he wasn't cute and you weren't interested. That was that.

You were leaving the building through the back exit, happy to finally be out of your costume and headed home, when-

"Hi, there!"

"Ah!" You were startled by the sudden and enthusiastic greeting of... The guy you definitely didn't think was cute.

You sighed, regaining your composure after he had frightened you. "Hello." You said back simply.

"Sorry if I startled you there! I just wanted to compliment you." He said with a smile that for sure didn't make you want to swoon. "You are the most incredible singer that I've ever heard."

You couldn't help but feel flattered. "Thank y-"

"And you're an amazing dancer."

You paused for a moment. Mr. Slugworth definitely wouldn't like the fact that you were talking to him... But, he wasn't here right now.

These little post-show conversations became something you looked forward to.

It was every Saturday, after your last performance of the night. He'd always be right outside the back exit waiting for you. Talking to him was always thrilling. Your heart beat a little faster whenever you were around him, breaking the rules... And maybe it was also because you thought he was cute.

You couldn't lie, over time, you'd grown to like him. And based on all of the lingering gazes and soft smiles he'd given you, you were pretty sure he liked you as well.

One day, you were backstage, looking into the mirror as you put on your makeup. You glanced up and in the reflection of the mirror was your boss, Mr. Slugworth.

This couldn't be good.

You turned around to face him. "Hello, Sir." You forced a polite smile.

"Yes, hello." He said with narrowed eyes. There was a brief moment of silence which you decided to fill.

"Did you want to talk to me about something?" You said, hoping the innocent head tilt you gave him was convincing.

"I know what you're doing." He said, ignoring your previous question.

"One of my associates told me that they saw you and Mr. Wonka meeting behind this theatre every night."

You stayed silent. You knew you were guilty and you knew you probably couldn't talk your way out of this.

Mr. Slugworth continued. "I don't want an explanation or excuse from you. I just want you to agree to never speak with him again."

"What?!" You were shocked. He couldn't do this! He couldn't just tell you to stop talking to someone outside of work! He didn't have that power!...

Except, he kind of did. You knew how Mr. Slugworth was and you knew he wouldn't hesitate to fire you over something like this.

And that's why you agreed.

That night you left the theatre through the back exit like you always did. But, tonight you walked right past Willy.

"You were incredible tonight! I- Where are you going?"

You ignored him and kept walking. To your surprise, he began to follow you.

"You look sort of down.. Is something wrong? You can talk to me about it. I'm sure I can make you feel better!" He said as he continued to follow you.

He continued to try talking to you, and you continued to ignore him. He ended up following you all the way to your doorstep.

"Y/n? If it's something I did to upset you, I'm really sorry."

You took a deep breath and turned around, looking around to make sure no one was watching before you grabbed him and yanked him into your house.

As soon as he was in your house he looked around. "I like your curtains." He said.

"I'm not mad at you." You told him.

He smiled. "That's good to hear. I was already thinking of an apology chocolate recipe for you and it would've been-"

"Willy." He went quiet when you said his name. "Mr. Slugworth doesn't want me talking to you ever again."

"Oh?" He thought for a moment. "Well, that doesn't seem fair."

"Yeah. It isn't fair."

"Well, then don't listen to him." He made everything sound so simple. So easy. You wish you could see the world how he saw it.

"I can't just not listen to him. He's my boss." You looked at the ground. "And I need this job..."

Willy crossed his arms. He furrowed his brows in thought for a moment. "Huh."

"Huh." He looked back to you.

"What?"

"Why don't you just work for me?" He suggested with a smile. You were about to protest, but decided to hear him out. "Yeah! You can quit working for Slugworth, then you and I can update your act, and you can start promoting Wonka's Chocolate!" He said, excitedly pacing your small living area.

You thought over the plan. "Huh." You chuckled. "That's... Do you think that could work?"

He walked over to stand right in front of you, looking into your eyes. "I know it could work."

You shook your head with a smile. You were probably gonna regret this. "Let's do it."

"Yes!" Willy clapped and then stuck out his hand so that the two of you could shake on it. Instead of shaking his hand, you sort of let your emotions take control.

You grabbed his face and kissed him. After a moment you pulled away, a bit shocked at your own actions. You searched his face for any signs of discomfort and were met with a smile.

"That was better than a handshake." He said with a chuckle before leaning forward to capture your lips in a soft kiss.

I think the entire system of how the world works is really well done in general. constellations watching the apocalyptic bloodbath via livestream and sending donos to their favorite little guys shouldn’t work as well as it does and cracks me up so much 😭 (uriel is the best). I enjoy learning about all the irl different fables, history & mythologies too. plus doing my own research is fun! I did a deep dive through the web to learn about dokkaebi folklore lol I’m having a good time

I also related hard to how dokja read TWSA throughout his life, the story was a companion for him. got choked up bc I reflected on how much my own favorite companion stories for years mean to me. there’s been situations I’ve thought “what would (character) do?” dokja saying stuff like “what would joonghyuk do?” felt like I got called out <3 I’d probably be the same as him if my favorite characters suddenly came to life

anyways yeah I caught up with the manhwa looked online and discovered it comes from an already completed novel with over 500 chapters and the manhwa is barely a third into adapting it though it’s been releasing every week for 4 years. and that it’ll take like 10 more years to finish. I then planted my face in my hands and screamed with despair

(7:04) Guys I'm almost done with my morning glory reread and when I tell y'all I just nearly died from shock bc Craig casually mentioned he 'Doesn't believe in coincidences.' Like, it's such a benign statement but after WRITING his storyline in Genesis and randomly seeing something like that in the wild that I totally forgot about almost just took me out.

(10:20) Guys after I reread this Genesis chapter and code it I AM OFFICIALLY WORKING ON MORNING GLORY AGAIN LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOO (This Fourth of July chapter will get finished tn I SWEAR TO HECK!!!!)

lol but in all seriousness, if u end up wanting to get into classical music, just sticking on any classical radio station is usually a good way to go, BBC Radio 3 is EVERYTHING to me, shes v important<3 also, in terms of streaming services, most are honestly p rubbish when it comes to classical music but apple music have a 'classical' app which is like the only decent way to stream classical music without literally wanting to scream in confusion imo. so if u happen to have apple music it comes w ur subscription and is good! ok i hope this helps and once again glad ur enjoying da fic :)

Jacobi, Doug, and Lovelace are all kinda tied for first, although Jacobi might be a bit higher than the other two.

Minkowski and Hera are a solid second place you can’t make me choose. 10/10 good characters but they don’t scratch that same itch in my brain like the top three do.

I actually liked Hilbert a lot (rest in peace king) so he gets a nice third.

Maxwell is sitting comfortably in fourth, she’s an interesting fella but not the type that appeals to me personally.

Cutter, Pryce, and Kepler are all in fifth, although I’d maybe place Kepler higher than the others bc I started to like him a bit more in the last season. I want to study him like a bug. Strangely I haven’t watched the TV show I’ve only watched the movie. I think I’m just too into the movie and honestly don’t know where to buy/watch the TV show. Also what if it sucks I’m scared I wouldn’t recover.

14. Tell us five of your headcanons you basically see as canon

No because this one’s my fav my first is that Johnny in the summer wears a cut off t-shirt/tank top that looks kinda like pony’s ik that’s so stupid but I love it, my second would be that dally definitely has a fake tooth or gold tooth from all the fighting, my third would be that johnny actually has so built up muscle. In the book and movie especially we don’t see a lot of Johnny which is get with the whole abuse and his parents but I do think that he has some sort of lean/muscular build I mean he literally killed bob, my fourth would be that dally definitely helps buck clean up the bar the next morning because he’s a clean freak and we all know it cuts down on his rooms rent, my last one would probably be that the brothers all have some type of matching jewelry that there parents gave them as like a incase your lost you all have this that way they could find each other. I know dang well they never take it off to.

15. Five headcanons that are entirely self-indulgent

First one is definitely that dally is actually good a school and helps Johnny and pony he just gave up with himself, my second would be that Johnny is scared of horses but dally definitely takes him on trail rides because he’s mean out of love, my third is that dally is Russian. I know that hc has been big and I was so freaking excited when I saw it. I honestly love this one so much because I’ve been learning Russian and it just fit him so well, my fourth would be that purly and pony met at track practice and that they always run the 400 together, my last one would be that dally is definitely a clean freak. I’m a clean freak and I just needed him to be a clean freak because he’s my literal comfort character and if I’m not making sad backstories for him I’m to busy turning him into ✨me✨.

Honestly no I love the book and it has become such a comfort for me. The book and movie got me through a really hard time/year and it’s just become one of my comfort books so I can’t be salty, the book is my baby. 😭😀🩷

to the people of tumblr. i implore you to read my favorite book series of like 6 years, the shattered realms by cinda williams chima, which contains my #1 ship of all time and happens to have like 5 other fans on planet earth and im not sure any of them are alive today. you cannot give up at the first book you have to make it to book 3 because thats when my alltime favorite characters start getting more attention (in the first two they're established as antagonists from other characters' povs but theyre trying to do good :c)

Hes really skinny. Benatar is skinnier than him but hes still stronger than Puff (skill issue tbh). But still he eats like a pig but just stays so skinny like wtf man

He has only one hoodie that he washes once a year.

If anyone compliments his smile he will MELT inside but he will just say "Yeah whatever" and change the topic.

Hes a cat person. Like his grandma brought a cat once from the streets and he was like "Man, thats dumb asf." And the next day he was petting the cat like his life depended on it BUTTT the cat didnt like him and scratched him so hard he stayed away from him for weeks. But Puff still tries to pet him.

He had ALOT of voice cracks when he was a teenager. Like he tried to record a song once because he was just bored and got some good lyrics, and when he started singing his voice cracked 12 times during the start. He literally went apeshit because of that.

Also back to the skinny thing, when he stretches you can see his ribs. But does he care? Nope.

Hes the closest with Dee Jay out of everyone in the band, and they actually hang out alone kinda often. Like they go to bars and shit and Dee Jay has to carry drunk ass Puff all the way back to the tour bus.

In middle school Axel got a piercing and Puff was like: "Wow cool." So he asked Axel to give him a piercing..He had an ear infection for a month and since then he hates needles.

Puff cant swim, but he can run the fastest out of all of the guys (Benatar is a close second one when it comes to running)

Talking about swimming, There was probably a school trip to the pool and stuff and he almost drowned multiple times. Oh and also almost fell out of the *highest* slide because he wanted to impress Tig.

Loves using others people words against them but if anyone gives him a taste of his own medicine, he will be PISSED.

Can hide his stress really well. Like for example preforming on stage. Hes nervous inside, but it isnt visible at all. And he wouldnt admit it anyway.

Hes the only one that can make fun of his band mates. If anyone else does it he will get so mad.

Also, hes the only one who can in general make fun of people. If someone even dares to do the same to him, he will get REAL offended and just not speak to that person for a while.

He cant keep his clothes clean for a minute. Like hes eating anything with sauce or stuff? Its all over his pants and hoodie. But again, he doesnt give a shit.

When it comes to relationships, he can actually be romantic and all lovely dovely, but only when hes alone with that person. When hes out with them he acts like a dick.

5. Do you respond to comments? Why/why not?

Yes! I'm in fandom to make friends and have fun. I made one of my best fandom friends through AO3 comments. Besides, talking about things I've made and my thoughts behind them is fun. ^.^

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

On AO3? Probably Carry On. It's a Good Omens two shot that more-or-less starts with Abel's death. It then follows Crowley and Cain as they experience exile together. But I don't really do sad endings, so it ends with Cain finding a degree of peace, even if Abel is still dead.

In general? Never shared, but it's another Good Omens story. A sequel to the above. I wrote 3 fics/chapters that explore a Fallen Raphael!Crowley coming to terms with the fact that he can't heal. So in the 2nd installment, he gets close to some humans and when one is severely injured, he fails to heal them and they die. I won't share more than that, but I literally can't read that fic without crying and I wrote it. (The fourth and fifth part of the series are him wresting the ability to heal back from the binds that were placed on it, so even those have a happy ending in a way. The people who died remain dead, though, so I think it still counts.)

7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

Considering none of my dpxdc longfics are finished yet, I'm gonna go with another Good Omens fic, The Demon Piper. This is based off the story of the Pied Piper, obviously. Hamelin, Germany is experiencing a famine due to rats getting into the winter stores. The adults are desperate and many are considering selling their kids to indentured servitude or worse. So the kids and Crowley make a pact to run away together. They they go off and set up their own little settlement in the mountains and everyone lives and it's super sweet. I have a few sequels I need to post that get even fluffier.

Haven't yet! Y'all are the best <3

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

My third Good Omens fic! An Evening In! It's an 18k PWP with Soft Dom Aziraphale and Service Bottom Crowley, human AU. Really, it's just two men who love each other very much. It's so soft and self indulgent, even if they do explore some kink dynamics.

10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one?

DPxDC is my first time in a crossover fandom. It's been a blast! IDK if it counts as crazy, though.

Nope. Wouldn't that be the biggest flattery, though.

13. Have you ever co-written a fic?

No. I don't think my writing style lends itself to co-writing. I'm very particular about how things get phrased and I'm a plotter and most of my planning happens mentally while driving or at work or something.

14. What's your all-time fav ship?

Oh, I don't have one! I have a fav ship in certain fandoms, though. I was in the Sherlock fandom for a while, so Johnlock obviously. For Be More Chill (the musical) it's Michael/Jeremy. For Good Omens it's Crowley/Aziraphale. For Avatar it's Zutara. Newsies has Jack/David. For DC only fics, I'm an avid Tim/Kon shipper or Core Four. But for DPxDC I'm a multishipper. I was also a multishipper when in the MCU fandom (though Steve/Tony became a nOTP for me and was never a favorite even before Age of Ultron).

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Oh, damn. It's hard to say. I plotted out a whole Good Omens Parent Trap Fusion. (Aka take the plot of the Parent Trap and fit in the characters from Good Omens.) I hate to call it abandoned since I would like to go back to it. But time...

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I do panic attacks and emotional breakdowns very well. I'm also proud of how I can weave a complex plot into a coherent story which will hopefully come out once I get further along in some of my long fics (particularly Answer My Call and I'll Carry Your Heart (Until I Find You Again)).

17. Writing weaknesses?

I don't think I'm very good at making sure all my characters have distinct voices. I've gotten way better at that this past year, but I'm still working on it. I'm also too much of a perfectionist which makes me slow. And I jump around ideas too much which makes it harder to finish projects.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages?

I will never do it. Way I see it, if the POV character understands what is being said, the reader should understand, too. Which means it needs to be written in English (the only language I can guarantee the reader of an English story can understand). If the POV character can't understand what is being said, neither should the reader. If it's omniscient POV, I will put it in English if I want the reader to have that information and leave it out if I don't. Not give some readers extra information that others don't get.

19. The first fandom you wrote for.

Naruto. I wrote it by hand in class on lined notebook paper and passed it over to my best friend. She, in turn, gave me drawings of my favorite characters.

20. Fav fic you've ever written?

God, I have no idea. I love so many of my works and each one represents something. The Demon Piper is the fic that got me back into writing at all so that's super special to me. Bring Me Home is the one that got me writing for the DPxDC fandom. An Evening In was my first attempt at smut and I am so happy with how it turned out (never thought I could do it). I'll Carry Your Heart (Until I Find You Again) has a premise I'm absolutely in love with and I have so many plans for it. Want to Hold on and Feel I Belong is proof of how much I love emotional breakdowns and I love how much of a punch it packs. Remember, Remember is my first time writing an introspective piece that covers a long time period and I think it works really well.
