After getting back from our own prom my best friend and i decided to watch prom the musical only we forgot it was emotionally devastating and not just silly gays signing and dancing
I've been boggled by writing my thesis proposal (its literally due in days) but lol only listening to historic gay music has been helping me write 🥲
And by historic I mean music that has been in impactful gay shows and scenes 😅 send me more song suggestions for other queer hallmarked songs I hadn't added to the list ✨
(I'll add them after I've submitted my proposals :3)
And yes adult me absolutely thrives on making a thesis related to gay media 😌

you know prom the musical was written by a white person cuz anyone with a black mom knows that scene at the end where Alyssa's mom is like "i love you, that's whats important" is so very inaccurate, will never catch my black mama saying that shit
