This fanworks festival centres around Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort falling in love (or obsession, or lust, or all of the above) AFTER the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Whether or not the epilogue is canon is up to you based on the themes and plot to your fanfic, fanart, etc.

Have you ever wanted to explore a post-hallows story where Voldemort comes back as a ghost and becomes Harry’s roommate (and they were roommates!) before it turns to more? No, hrm. Well, what about a post-epilogue situation where Harry misses the infamous Dark Lord, or perhaps just the chaos he brought with him? Not at all. Really? Hmm, have you considered a fic featuring a Voldemort who, despite his destoyed horcruxes, is still alive and ends up under house arrest with Harry as his guard? Or, or! Perhaps he does die but only for a short time then ends up on Harry’s doorstep, maybe even magicless save for immortality? Even if none of these particularly tickled your fancy, there’s way more choices and ideas out there to be had and you can write/draw all of them and more in the Post-Deathly Hallows Harrymort Fanworks Festival!

Rules

༄ This is a 16+ festival, where only participants who are 18+ are allowed to write or draw sexually explicit material. Anyone who lies about their age are subject to being banned from future festivals.

༄ Promotion of homophobia, transphobia, other anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric, ableism, racism, sexism, anti-semitism, and other bigotries is NOT allowed. Keep in mind and be careful of condeming any characters because of gender, sex, race, culture, orientation, disability, weight, age, etc.

༄ Anyone can prompt or claim for this fest. You don’t have to do one to do the other.

༄ Self prompting will be available when the claiming time comes.

༄ This is an anonymous festival, therefore discussions of claimed prompts are not encouraged in public.

༄ All fanworks must include Harrymort (Harry Potter/Lord Voldemort) as the focus on the fic, set after the events of Harry Potter and the Dealthy Hallows. What this entails in full is below.

FAQ

➵ “Can I write a time travel fic/draw time travel art?” Yes, if it’s clearly established to be after the Deathly Hallows has happened for them, and both Harry and Voldemort remember the events.

➵ “Can I write an Alternate Universe fic/draw Alternate Universe art?” This really depends. If it’s Alternate because Harry and Voldemort have hopped to a different universe, then yes. But they both, again, have to remember the events of the Deathly Hallows. But if you’re thinking of like a coffee shop or soulmates au set in the universe where the Deathly Hallows took place for them, then no.

➵ “Can I have Voldemort live through the events of Deathly Hallows?” Yes, this and the canonisity of the epilogue are the only things you can change about the canon before the events of the fic/artwork. However, if Voldemort is kept alive, he still has to have been defeated in such a way that the war is considered over (knocked unconscious, recognised he was bested, died only briefly, etc).

➵ “Can I include poly ships?” Yes, but Harry and Voldemort can’t be part of one as this is a festival focused on them. However, one or both of them can start in a different relationship as long as Harrymort is the end goal.

Author Expections:

~ All works should be a minimum of 2k words.

~ All works must be correctly tagged and warned for. “Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings” is not an acceptable warning.

~ Authors must have an Archive of our Own account to publish their fanfiction to the collection.

~ Each fanfiction should be new and unique the fest, this means that you aren’t allowed to retroactively add a previously written oneshot or submit a new chapter for an ongoing fic. Prequels and sequels to other fanfictions are allowed as long as they are published on their own and can be coherently read without needing knowledge of said prior fic(s).

~ All authors should edit their fanfictions to the best of their ability concerning SPaG. If a beta or alpha is meeded at amytime, feel free to join the Discord!

Artist Expectations:

~ Artwork at any stage that the artist is happy sharing it in is acceptable as long as at least two hours of work has gone into it.

~ Artists must have an Archive of our Own account to publish their artwork to the collection. Or, in the case that your art prompt was also claimed for a fic and the author is okay with it, the artwork could be posted with the accompanying fanfiction instead.

Additionally, no fanworks should be posted to other social media (twitter, tumblr, etc) until after reveals. All fanworks will receive a personalised post on the fest tumblr (that’s here!) after being submitted, including a spot on the masterpost once the fest is over.

The floating empire of Pharoah Duul Aman

It's not every Tuesday the Justice League encounters something like this, but this was new to Wonder Woman.

A giant island floating in mid air suddenly appeared in a flash of glowing green.

It was Egyptian yet futuristic, like Kemet, where a massive silver and green pyramid in the center with a large pulsing green ball constantly swirling in a barrier.

The building themselves were oddly a combination of modern with Egyptian hieroglyphics carved into them and plants coating and moving around buildings, puffing out icy breaths. It look to be a modern yet futuristic town.

There were people, yet.. odd looking with a pale blue color as some were floating around, the other chasing after their children, parents, floating babies sleeping above them attached to a purple leash wrapped around a Egyptian Mau cats as they talking about the next Hide and Fight game.

Before Wonder Woman could fly closer, she faceplanted right into a golden barrier.

Tucker Foley was desperate to save Danny. After the GIW last attack, they severely injured Danny who pushed tucker out of harm way with a new untested ecto blaster that was stolen from the Fentons before. They gave up on hunting and helped Danny after his revealing.

The Portal was malfunctioned and breaking apart as it slowing eats out the Fenton's basement into it, even as he incase the town in a barrier of his own making to push out the GIW all out and hidden around town.

Danny, who is lays on the makeshift bed outside the Fenton house, Fangs grinding in pain with trails of greens and red pulsing through his skin with frantic Jazz trying to find another ecto-dejecto in the Fenton mobile knowing there is no more.

His hands trembled as he was performing a ritual, writing another hieroglyphics in Egyptian symbol. Sam was out the circle holding the Scarab Scepter using fenton gloves to keep her mind from being enchanted by it dark power.

Tucker knew he was the reincarnated Duul Aman. He can still remember everything of his past life even though he lied to his friends about that time when he went mad with power.

He remembered how blood thirsty and enraged with guilt weighed down Duul Aman to madness upon remembered his friend Danyal, who sacrificed his life for him.

Danyal, who was a foreign slave yet closest best friend in the world, looks too like Danny. He never lied when he said he and Danny had been friends since forever.

He knew who danny was danyal reborn the moment he saw that birth marks on his heel, the very same cresent moon shaped mark right against his heel.

He will not fall into the same madness that consumed his past life. He will save his best friend even..

Tucker quietly inhaled finishing the last piece of the ritual as he held mumbled a prayer to Bastet for protection, holding out his hand to Sam for the Specter

"You know what to do if I can't handle it, Sam." Tucker said to her softly.

"Are you sure this will work, Tuck?"

"I'd study this for a long.. long time, I did all the calculations 7 times to save Danny and fixed the portal leaking into our town. I need enough power, or else the ghost zone is going to implode on all of us, taking the planet and this dimension with it."

"And if it doesn't work.. well, it's was great being best friend with you, Grass eater." Tucker wobbly crack a smile. Sam rubbed her teary eyes a bit.

"If we survived this, I'm so shoving you into grass even with reality morphing powers, Tucker."

Amity is a Dimensional Dump

So! Amity Park is a hub of weirdness of all sorts, mostly undead, but there are also a bunch of Multiversal oddities connected to the small town.

There are the minor anomalies. 5th Street has a bad habit of slipping into the Backrooms, Old Lady Jenkin's House sometimes has snow in summer, and of course the Night Sky had a 20% chance of swapping views to another Galaxy. Danny likes that one a lot.

But the biggest Anomaly is how many Multiversal Travellers get lost there.

They are always finding somebody wandering the streets with no idea where they are, and have to help them find their reality of origin. Other times they decide to stay for various reasons, ranging from a bad home life to being the only survivors of a Dead Universe. Half of the population if Amity was made up of the descendants of Lost Travelers, so their DNA was really a mixed bag.

Danny was flying over town when he spotted a Blur on the ground below.

He flew down to intercept, and found a boy in red and yellow panicking over his situation.

"Hey! Can I help you?" He called out.

The boy looked up, and gasped "Are you a Hero? I need help getting back to the Justice League!"

Danny chuckled, "Which one?"

The boy looked confused, "The Adult One? I guess?"

"Not what I meant, sorry. I mean, which Dimension are you from?" He clarified.

"Dimensions? What is going on!?" He shouted.

"Okay, let's calm down and restart. My name is Danny, who are you?" He introduced himself.

The boy took a deep breath, calming himself, before saying, "Okay, my name is Kid Flash, but you can just call me Wally."

On Sam, looking at Torres in the hospital, hearing footsteps come up behind him.

Sam: "It's a private room. Go away."

Bucky comes into view beside Sam.

Bucky: "Missed you too."

They look at each other. Bucky a soft smile. Sam looks away, a smile tugging the corner of his mouth.

Sam: "I hate to admit it...I'm glad you're here."

Sam looks back to Bucky and they both go in for a hug, Bucky closing his eyes in it. They part, stood side-by-side again.

Bucky: "You looked good out there on that 6 o'clock."

Sam shakes his head a bashful smile. Then sombre again.

Bucky: "But then I saw this."

Sam: "Doctors had to restart his heart. They don't know if..."

Sam closes his eyes.

Bucky: "This isn't your fault."

Sam: "It makes me think of Steve. How many alien invasions did he stop, again?"

Bucky: "Two."

Sam: "Two. Wow. What made me think I could follow that. I should have took the serum. Like Steve. Like you."

Bucky looking at Sam.

Bucky: "Why?"

Sam: "Because this is all starting to seem much bigger than me."

Sam turns to fully face Bucky.

Sam: "Ross, he asked me to restart the Avengers, Buck. But Joaquin's in here. Isaiah's in prison. And Sterns...I had him. I had Sterns. Right in my hands. And he got away. He damn near pushed us to the brink of war, because I wasn't—"

Sam emotionally cuts himself off.

Bucky: "Say what you need to say."

Sam looks down, then back to Bucky.

Sam: "Steve made a mistake."

Bucky: "No he didn't. He gave you that shield, not because you're the strongest, but because you're you. You think if you had that serum, you'd be able to protect all the people you care about. Steve had it, and he couldn't. You're a human being and you're doing your best. Steve gave people something to believe in, but you...you give them something to aspire to."

Sam squints at Bucky.

Sam: "Did your speech writers help you with that?"

Bucky: "They did, yeah, the ending, a little bit. Well, did you like it? Was it—?"

Sam: "No no, it was good. Solid...B plus."

Bucky: "Yeah. Emotional."

Sam: "Very. I felt it."

Bucky: "But just enough."

Sam: "Yeah."

Bucky: "Listen, I've gotta...catch a plane. I have a campaign fundraiser. It's so stupid."

They look over Torres, smiling. Bucky looks at Sam.

Bucky: "He's gonna be all right, man."

Sam looks at Bucky, shakes Bucky's hand.

Sam: "Thanks, Buck."

Bucky: "I love you, buddy."

Bucky cuffs Sam's arm and leaves; Sam nods, looking after him.

Danny was born in Gotham and ended up for adoption shortly after. The woman who birthed him listed the father on his birth certificate as The Batman. Everyone laughed it off as a joke from a woman who didn't know or didn't want admit who the father was. They left it be, but no one really thought it was true. It couldn't be. Right?
