Even though I try to do my due diligence in making sure everything I say is accurate, I’m not going to get everything right, because—and again I really hope this doesn’t need saying—I am not a reporter or historian. I base my depiction of Bart mainly on his YJ and Solo-Run appearance, where he is indeed very chaotic and has very fluffy hair

Danny & Duke Prompt/idea for y'all while I'm still trying to write my fic

Now I still don't know if I'm gonna include this in my fic, but I wanted to post it incase I didn't but essentially, Halfa/Quarta!Duke

Ok so basically Pariah Dark would be a halfa (until giving up his humanity/human half like Dan) and was sealed into the Infinite Realms by his brother, Gnomon The Eternal Light who was also a halfa, this in turn not only makes Duke part ghost, but also the biological nephew of Pariah Dark.

Duke has a very small amount of ectoplasm flowing throughout his body and also has a core much smaller/underdeveloped than other ghost and even halfas. He inherited abilities from both his father and his uncle resulting in him having a mixed core (light and dark [psh, ok y/n✋🏽🙄])

Insert traumatized Danny attending Gotham Academy after running away for whatever reason👁️👁️, ahem, and staying in the schools dormitories. Danny's first day is going great, he woke up early, made it to class on time, and his classmates were being nice to him, maybe things here wouldn't be so bad. THEN FWOOSH, almost instantly Danny feels a powerful (and somewhat familiar) chill down and his ghost sense goes off and then he starts panicking, cause if he goes ghost then the GIW will know where he is, if he doesn't help then this ghost will seriously fuck up the school.

Bbg spends a bit too long in his head contemplating his options and feels this overwhelming presence get closer, he doesn't hear anybody screaming so thats good. It very quickly becomes not good when the presence comes closer and he realizes why it feels so familiar, it was an aura similar to that of Pariah Dark. Well great that's just fucking great, first day at a new school and he's possibly gonna get beat up by the former ghost king, which by the way, WHO THE FUCK LET HIM OUT-

Danny is thoroughly surprised though when it isn't a ghost capable of mass destruction that comes into the class but actually a rather cute boy his age (oh very pretty ghost guy ok) it isn't until Duke sits at a desk and people start talking to him does he realize (holy fuck this guy is like me)

During his lunch break Danny-boy slips into the Ghost zone to ask his lil ghost council (which consist of Pandora, Dorothea, Frostbite, Wulf, and Clockwork) if it's possible for two different ghost to have similar auras, Pandora states the each ghost aura is unique to that individual, the only way for two ghost to have similar auras is for them to be related

Great, so Danny's classmate is a relative of one of his strongest enemies, and former king of the Infinite Realms? Fucking great

Edit/update: On Dukes side, he finds himself rather drawn towards the pretty new boy in his class and he doesn't know why (it's bc unlike him, Danny has a shit ton of Ectoplasm running through and Dukes still developing core is drawn to that)

Anyway when he starts hanging out with Danny, his core starts absorbing the ectoplasm in the air surrounding him (which comes from Danny constantly exiting/entering the Ghost zone an using portals) which in turn helps Dukes core develop faster, making his powers stronger and granting him new ones

Brian is paralyzed from the waste down right? After the events of S,IL. So like... He wouldn't feel him and Tim doin the nasty and Tim would have to ride the whole time.

This got a bit long so most of the answer is under the thingy. Both because it's long and because it does talk about sex and stuff, so if you don't wanna see that you don't have to.

I think sensation is definitely a bit funky for Brian, since he has an incomplete spinal cord injury in my headcanon/the 'canon' of Sorry, It's Locked. Stuff like temperature, pain from injuries (not things like nerve pain, pain from spasms and all that totally fun stuff), and light touch don't really register for him but deep pressure he can feel a bit, especially right up near where his injury is. But yeah, he's not feeling a huge deal down there.

I kinda always see Brian as a bit of a service top though anyway, like, yeah, it kinda sucks that he can't feel much when he and Tim have sex, but he's still very happy to just get Tim off. He's a sweet talker and he's good with his tongue, y'know? And he adores doing that.

Theres definitely more variety in their sex life than you might immediately think, tho. Sure if they wanna do P in V sex then yeah, it's a lot of Tim doing the work as Brian doesn't have a huge amount of movement below his injury (though he does have a little bit and is very very slowly regaining more through physio and stuff), but Brian has hands and a mouth, and Tim has toys. And also like, the dick isn't the only place that feels good? Y'know? Like, there are plenty of other erogenous zones that wouldn't have been affected by the fall and the injury he got from it, like his neck or his nipples and stuff like that. And sure, that wouldn't be the same as being able to feel his dick getting touched, but like? Y'know?

Idk people always seem really obsessed with genitals and sex when like, those aren't the only parts of sexuality that matter? Like, sexuality is bigger than just the genitals and just 'normal' sex.

Also like, there's a lot of stuff that goes into how sex and stuff works after a spinal cord injury? Like, yeah there's gonna be changes to like, everything below the level of the injury, but HOW it changes can be different depending on whether it's a complete or incomplete spinal cord injury and stuff like that? Like, with a complete one no signals are getting through the nerves, and with an incomplete one some signals can get through, y'know?

I think Brian's injury is probably around T12, maybe L2 at lowest? (Pretty sure I've got those numbers the right way around) And it's an incomplete injury, hence why he can move his legs a little bit and can stand for a little while as long as he has something to balance against? So he'd have more ability to get and maintain an erection than someone with a complete injury higher up, y'know?

And like... There's external things that can be used to help with erections, like there's medications like Viagra (yeah yeah it's the one everyone knows but still, it's something that can help!) and there's cock rings and pumps and all that, y'know? Still, bladder and bowel stuff would be affected and I do think Brian would self cath and he'd have a bowel program and all that (i don't think he'd have a suprapubic catheter, but maybe?). Sensation would also be affected, duh, that's kinda the thing people think most about when they think about paralysis. So yeah, sex definitely wouldn't be the same for him as it was before his injury, but like, it can still be enjoyable. Like, sexuality can be a lot more than just the act of sex itself, and like, even without a spinal cord injury some people just enjoy the other parts of sexuality more than the actual sex itself.

Also like. It's me writing them. These fuckers are gonna be kinky, and kink doesn't automatically have to involve sex, it can stand on its own and still be incredibly enjoyable. It's just about what each person enjoys about it, sure for a lot of people it is the sex side of it, but it can also be about the taking/letting go of control side of things, it can be about the sensory side of it (like impact or waxplay or tickling etc), it can simply be about being intimate/close/connected with your play partner. (Adding my 2 cents about Shen Jiu, hope that's ok!)

Part of what makes him such a great character is that he's bad, he's so terrible in so many ways, but he's self-aware of it enough to feel terrible about it and yet so deeply stuck in his ways that he feels he can never change.

Part of the tragedy of his character is there are allegations thrown against him that are true AND false and he simply REFUSES to clarify or defend himself against any of them because he doesn't see the point.

He's a character who treats everything in his life like it's transient, or a threat, or will one day betray him. And because of this, when his livelihood is threatened, homie straight up does nothing to defend himself, even when it's pretty strongly suggested that some allegations are exaggerated or straight up false.

And because of the unreliable narration of both SVSSS's MC, and the possible unreliable narration of Proud Immortal Demon Way, AND the fact Shen Jiu himself refused to elaborate, a lot of his life is STILL a mystery.

He's stubborn and prideful and deeply tragic, and ultimately ends up right back, by his own actions, where he started as a child: powerless, imprisoned, and abused.

BUT he still, he STILL, cared for his childhood friend. He's the type to make someone hate him to preserve that person's life, so they don't want to risk themself for him. I want to put him in a jar and shake him. He's pathetic and lamentable and horrible (I love him).
