Usually babysitting 3 kids wouldn't be easy for the average baby sitter but luckily that wasn't the case..Y/N had been babysitting 3 kids for over 3 years after her employer took to a babysitting blog asking for assistance since he would be going on the road sometimes or needed someone willing to travel with him when the kids were able to go on the road. "Ferg, have you considered writing a blog addressing the wrong headed assumption that the members were "forced" to create the Festa content that we got today? How the people pushing that agenda are not looking at what was happening in their lives at the time said content was filmed. They always want us to have pictures and music at Festa. They WANT to create that content. If they were "forced" it wasn't by the company, it was by the calendar and the government. With no (military) exemption, they understood that the only time to come up with OT7 music or pictures was before mid December (2022). And drilling down, the only time was in October. RIGHT when they hit the final acceptance that they would all start enlisting and the foreseeable future was actually not foreseeable at all. Their hearts were extra heavy that within a few weeks they would say goodbye to Jin. Yoongi was dealing with severe writers block and, I think, feeling guilty that he was going to miss his deadline for the first time EVER. RM was working toward the release of Indigo. Tae was busy exploring new things with fashion brands and tv shows. RM was finalizing his Indigo promotions. Jin was about to announce his enlistment plans. JK was prepping for Qatar. And here they were thinking ahead to June 2023.

I don't understand the whole "they need to go start their own label" mindset either. I've already said it several times... they already did that, it's called BigHit Music. If BTS don't re-sign a contract its because they are retiring from releasing music. What IS plausible is a member or two starting an independent label for other up-and-coming artists so they can write and/or produce for them... all still under the HYBE umbrella.

During this solo era, I want to say things like "I think we can all agree ... [insert almost anything]" but I can't say that these days because, in my opinion, the fandom (on Twitter and other soc med platforms) has fractured into so many different factions who seem to spend a lot of time pitting themselves against other parts of the fandom for everything and anything they can find to nitpick, criticize, compare and compete with, to be angry about, that no one agrees on anything. This member is better than that member or ... and this one galls me... the company is forcing them to do this or that OR [insert member's name] sabatoged [insert other member's name].

People berating others for not streaming the music, or trying to humiliate followers into streaming 'CORRECTLY'. The conspiracy theorists–don't get me started on that. The dissatisfaction with how the solo projects have rolled out. The constant comparison and competition of which member has the most streams in a certain time frame, who has the most songs on the chart for the longest, fastest, more countries, more collabs, more awards...whatever... It's all "my way or the highway/[member name] is the best" and it is really disappointing and tiresome to see the enormous waste of energy.

And if you are still reading, I am totally on board with what another blogger said the other day about how the entire Kpop fandom has this Kpop culture mindset deeply rooted in their way of thinking. It colors their view of EVERYTHING: that artists are treated badly by their record labels/entertainment companies to the point of being physically abused, artists are not paid well, artists are forced to do things and play roles... adhere to strict rules, etc.. because that's how the oldest companies started and some are still operating today (looking at you SM Entertainment).

That "business model" may have been "the way" in the beginning of the kpop industry because no one stood up and called them out on it. So people have come to think EVERY entertainment company operates that way when we've been shown and told over and over by many HYBE employees that its a great place to work. MANY people OUTSIDE the company, staff and other people in the music industry including other artists are blown away at the innovation and forward thinking of the company and we've even heard the members themselves say that they love their company.

Of course no company is perfect, there will be mistakes made, bad decisions, wrong projections, etc. but out of all the entertainment companies, BigHit, Bang PD and BTS have strived to change the system from the start and our own "fans" are being brainless shitheads and talking trash.

Also, HYBE can't come over here to the United States and start auditioning young people for new groups if they are operating like SM Entertainment. That shit ain't gonna fly over here. You'll have a lawsuit in a blink of an eye as soon as someone gets a whiff of sexual harassment or physical abuse of a minor. A carefully built and protected reputation would be ruined, not just Hybe's but BTS's and every other artist under Hybe's labels as well.

Yes, some things we've seen make us scratch our heads... the tight back to back release of Jimin and Yoongi's work had us all wondering what happened. Yes, Jimin's very abbreviated promotion period for Face was frustrating and disappointing. But no one knows what went on behind the scenes. If neither Jimin or Yoongi comes out and tells us what happened then I will just move forward like they are. If either of them made a mistake, we might not ever know of it, but they will correct it going forward. If the company was the one who miscalculated, they too will correct that in the future. We can call it out when we see it happening but there is no reason to dwell on it. I don't see anything positive or productive about the continued pointing fingers to blame, holding grudges and continuing to speak negatively when it's plain the members of BTS love us, work hard to show us that and deserve only to see our love reflecting back at them.

I would like to counter your previous anon.

I understand promo is part of their job but I enjoyed promo this season, I thought Sam and Cait were very relaxed compared to the past few seasons for promo.

But I wanted to point out there were several times Sam initiated contact or touch with Cait so, it wasn’t just her.

I attended 92Y and I don’t think the official video showed this but there might be other people there who caught this but after the watched their chemistry test and Sam teased her a bit about being shorter, he reached over and stroked her arm (at least to me as if to say, you know I’m just teasing you) and she reciprocated and stroked him as back.

Second, at the end of 92Y Sam kissed Cait on her temple and also from the angle I was sitting at, after he kissed her temple he was rubbing and caressing her back like he has done so many times in the past.

Finally, I didn’t notice this the first few times I watched this interview but if you watch their interview with Reshma (the same interview where Caitriona puts her head on Sam’s shoulder) when Sam answers the question about what’s one thing the other person does that makes them thankful they are on this ride together, he actually pats Caitriona on her lap (very similar to what he did at the Season 4 premiere in Savannah) but you can’t see it very well due to camera cutting off their lower halves.

sorry to put a damper on that, but personally i don’t agree with accepting their remarks at absolute literal face value. i think chris and taika are doing (badly) the whole aussie/kiwi humour thing where they play off against one another: being sarcastically deadpan about something silly that didn’t happen, as a way of possibly expressing some of their own bitterness or jealousy for the person they are “roasting”. (i am a kiwi who has also lived in australia for several years).

i don’t for one second believe someone with as much genuine class and as generous/kind as tom hiddleston is ever said that he hated anyone, and especially not industry contemporaries and former colleagues.

what i DO believe is that chris and taika have issues, however much they are passing this off as high comedy; and their cattiness/bitchiness is showing.

whether tom’s and chris’s off-camera friendship is as tight as it once appeared to be is really something none of us can know. but from chris’s side there has been a fair amount of public teasing and goading which seems unnecessary and comes off a bit like jealous bullying - whether it’s meant playfully or not.

tom when he’s spoken of chris has only ever mentioned being in touch and that it was good to catch up with him, while filming LOKI S1 for the first time without his long-term co-star as thor.

so this “bitter” angle for promos really isn’t doing chris any favours, unfortunately for him. it’s just making him seem immature and spiteful, and pettily jealous of a greater artist’s success. !!! Amyyy, I was in the audience for the show with my sister, I'm still reeling thinking about it and so happy that it's out. Have you seen the episode? I've actually yet to watch the telly cut but the show was SO good & I hope that they didn't cut too much (I was in the live audience once before and we were there for about 90 minutes, yet the final cut wasn't even an hour long, sadly). Anyway, maybe that's just the rush of the live experience speaking but I thought that David was especially, especially lovely, he was SO. sweet. God. Plus, and that's one thing that stood out for us, Robbie was really touchy with him on the sofa. Quite fidgety, putting his hand on his back, shoulder, leg, knee, especially when the filming was done, hugging and talking, he seemed super enamoured haha. So yes, I did indeed see the full episode of David on Graham Norton this past week. For me, this episode was a double whammy because my love Eric Idle was also on the show, so I could hardly wrap my brain around both of them existing in the same space (as was the case when Michael Palin suddenly turned up in the first episode of season 2 of Staged). Absolutely delightful.

But focusing on David, I did feel this was such a toned down/more serious appearance as compared to the many others he’s made on GN in the past. I think this is due to the present state of the world more than anything else, rather than anything happening with David personally, and I was glad that GN gave him and Jamie Lee the space to talk about climate change and the things that matter (or should matter) to us all on a global scale.

It was touching to see David so vulnerable, though, especially when talking about his dad. I get the sense that--especially with his recent turn in Inside Man and now the play he’s about to star in--that David has been thinking about his father and “goodness” a lot, and feeling in some way like he will never be as good as his father was (which speaks to what you were saying, Anon #2). Part of that is just the result of that Scottish Presbyterian upbringing, but I think it’s a piece of David that will always be there, that still shows itself in his career and in his life and how he blossoms and preens whenever he receives the slightest bit of attention.

...Which then brings me to the other part of David’s appearance that caught my attention, which--as you mentioned, Anon #1--was all the touchy-feely action going on with Robbie Williams. A few gifs:

The first one got me because of course David doesn’t even flinch when getting groped by another man, and you love to see it. I do wonder how much of this had to do with Robbie being sleep-deprived and just grabbing on to David to keep from falling over with exhaustion, but it still was quite a sight to behold.

With the second one, I couldn’t help but think of Michael giving Chris Hemsworth a death glare when he tried to put his arm around David on GN three years ago. I do wonder what his reaction would have been like had he been there when this happened, or if David engineered a little bit of that jealous response (because he likes it) by texting Michael after the taping and telling him to watch the show on TV. 

And I’m with you, Anon #1...I, too, miss David and Michael being in each other’s spaces and touching the way they do. I always make a distinction, though, because while David clearly enjoys being groped and manhandled by lots of people, he does not react to any of them in quite the same way he reacts to Michael. I gave an example of it in this post from a while back, and I see the same thing here with Robbie: That David goes with it, but he doesn’t soften and melt into his touch the way he does with Michael’s.

Robbie is touching all over David and David is enjoying it, but there’s no “intimacy,” so to speak. It’s fun and friendly and a lovely moment to watch, but it’s something that exists mainly on the surface. But intimacy speaks to a close connection between two people, which is what is so evident and so powerful when we see Michael and David together.

It’s Michael who reminds David of how lovely he is. It’s Michael who brings something in David to life and lets him know he is safe, that he can enjoy the attention, and that he is and always will be good enough. Michael couldn’t stop gushing about David during the last GO press tour, and I truly can’t wait to see it all happen again when they start doing promo for the second season.

you don't have to answer this if you're not comfortable, but as a fellow ex-jikooker (i've stopped for quite some time now), i've been scratching my head seeing some of the jikookers' posts since the past week. they've been bombarding the jimin tag and gods i wish i can just unsee some things. i can't believe i've been a shipper like them before. that i liked their posts, theories, all that shit.

don't get me wrong some of their points are valid and jikook could still be real, but the way these people operate now is such a downgrade. there has to be a connection in everything when there is nothing to connect. they've romanticized everything that can be romanticized under the sun. most of them has no questions and did not even call out the differential treatment. it's pathetic.

there's this group of jikookers that i never particularly liked too. i eventually unfollowed them in the middle of my shipper journey. they've been acting all high and mighty in these spaces—as if they're better than anyone around. they're condescending too. they need to get off their high horses for real because who do they think they are? no wonder dogpiling has been happening in the jikook bubble for some time now.

tbf there still are sane jikookers left who are rational and are brave to raise points. that's a good sight to see. i've seen some who totally stopped shipping too, and that's good for them.

for me, going out of the shipping bubble is a relief. it's like i can finally breathe better. yes i get melancholic once in a while because i miss enjoying jikook's bond but i can't appreciate them anymore like i used to. and now that we've witnessed the promos, ugly feelings just intensified and come out every time i see them again. i can't stand the other half anymore. but it's all good and i've been coping. i've been wanting to leave for a while now anyway.

welcome and thank you! i haven't made a comprehensive timeline of their relationship as i am still figuring out some things, but i can write one now form the top of my head:

2016-2017: good friends, not hugely close but share a sense of humour, mark in particular really likes yuta (finds him funny, nice to be around) and it starts developing into a crush (mostly platonic but he seems to also be attracted to him physically). yuta finds mark really cute and wants to get even closer to him to. teases him a lot.

2018: same as above, but yuta has established inner circles with taeyong, winwin, jaehyun, doyoung while mark is closer with haechan, dreamies and starting to get close with jungwoo when he joins the group. yuta continues to tease mark, finds him really cute, mark's crush gets a little worse.

2019 (beginning): winwin leaves the group, yuta loses a friend he related due to their positions as the only two foreign members. mark and him get close very quickly as there is a vacancy for a close friend now. mark graduated from dream so sees them less and 127 tour starts so he's spending more time with them.

2019 (middle): yuta becomes completely enamoured with mark, not just about cuteness anymore but their share a genuine deep bond and yuta wants to spend as much time with him as he can. mark is happy to finally be so close to yuta.

2019 (summer): yuta starts developing feelings for mark, is quite vocal about how much he likes mark but in his usual jokey way. doesn't really act on it because it's not serious for him. mark's crush on yuta is pretty obvious but it hasn't developed into feelings. mark's pre occupied preparing for super m. however, yumark start going on dates outside of schedule. jungwoo leaves the group for personal reasons so mark spends even more time with yuta as he loses a close friend.

2019 (end): yuta has stronger feelings for mark as they spend more time together, go on more dates. mark makes time for yuta despite being busy with super m. they essentially become each other's person.

2020: yuta starts flirting romantically with mark, sometimes even sexual. mark's crush is suddenly aflame and he doesn't know how to hide it, often getting flustered that yuta is actually persuing him.

2020 (end): mark starts developing actual feelings for yuta, he's making it a little obvious. yuta notices and panics, puts some space between them. didn't expect mark to reciprocate.

2021 (beginning): similar to above, yuta is less touchy with mark, they are aware of each other's feelings and try to hide it when with each other but can't. mark leaves the dorm (uncomfirmed if he stayed in their dorm for the entire of dream promotions) to stay with dreamies for hot sauce promo, first time being back with dream since graduating. he is able to rekindle and strengthen those friendships. yuta focusses on his solo career.

2021 middle (may-july): analog trip, nct life, etc: yumark finally have time to spend together and they don't waste it - always together. they're still flirty but mostly just happy to be in each other's presence. the feelings are there, getting stronger but they don't act on it.

2021 august: specifically after mark's birthday, in the middle of august. something happened with yuta in his personal life (maybe he moved out the dorm? i personally don't believe this right now), or something with his family? as 127 starts preparing for their album, yuta notices that markwoo is being pushed as mark's official ship (mark's birthday, all about jungwoo), perhaps he himself was told to tone it down with mark. the 127 loverboy narrative starts, nothing is about yumark anymore. yuta himself stops touching mark how he used to. is a lot more quiet about mark when he's with him, only sometimes being vocal about him. stick together starts, and we see mark being very cling, flirty and needy with yuta while yuta sometimes looks unbothered. mark is getting ready to confess, this tension and lack of attention from yuta is driving him crazy.

2021 september-october: near the end of sept/start oct, mark confesses his feelings to yuta finally, who has been waiting for so long. it's right in the middle of sticker promos when mark posts the glasses instagram post. he's spending more time with yuta again despite mostly in schedules - he thought it was the best time. yuta finally starts showing mark affection on camera again, but very intense so often has to remind and stop himself from going too far. jungwoo realises what's going on between yumark and as mark's best friend and yuta's close friend (there perhaps was some tension between yuta and jungwoo as woo wants to be close friends with them both, although he is closer and likes mark more and yuta found it annoying- yuta has boundaries emotionally and physically.). woo realises they can't be a trio anymore, he has to give the couple their own space. he no longer accompanies them or interferes with them anymore, hanging out with mark when he is alone rather than with yuta.

now: they're in a relationship and it's still new and fragile. they're trying their best to not be too obvious and have their various ways of achieving this whilst also not completely hiding as that would be enormously draining on them and their mental health.

Basically! Someone read another fic of mine that included my self insert flappy stimming and also getting mental breakdown so it asked if i could include a couple other stims in another work since he enjoyed my first one! I. Took that request and made an entire fic dedicated to him lmao. So! I asked it later on for what it would like me to include and which character to use and here we are!

This is a 4K fic of Mammon from Obey Me paired with a Neurodivergent!Reader. The plot is that of him showing you a magic trick and smoothly whipping out a movie ticket!! You've been wanting to ask him to see a movie with you for a while so this is perfect! So perfect in fact that you're overwhelmed with happiness and have a brief moment of being nonverbal as you're overwhelmed with euphoria. Then the next day, you meet him at the venue and the date begins! Other scenes include him allowing you to hold onto his bracelets as it's one of your stims (he wears one of every texture to accomodate to your tastes), you dissociating out of anxiety in a movie theatre and him helping to ground you, and finally! Him sleeping on your shoulder before the movie ends.

Ik i kinda just said the majority of the plot lmao but! Its just a fluffy and sweet movie date! I enjoyed writing it a lot although i got about 80% of it done a month ago and tyn didn't touch it for like 2 weeks sjdbsjd i was p sad abt that. I like finishing things quickly esp when its for other people!! But it was a comfort during a hard time to write this work at 2am under the light of a night lamp and to the tune of street life ambience.

Kalim Al-Asim X Sumi Bint Khattar (Plot line):

So!! This one stemmed from me drawing something out of self indulgence and to show it to my friend, I described Sumi B in full and then I told them about my ships and around that time I had like five love songs I was obsessed with. And for each of them. I had. A separate animatic. For like at least 1 ship, the average was two but one had three. Sumi B was the centre of the most ships but not the only one. Anyway!! I told my friend about this and asked if I could dump my ideas onto them! They agreed and I started with a summarised version but then realised I needed a bit more build up so I started to write it in a bit more detail. Hah. It ended up being a Lot More Detailed but even then, I would write the scenes in a much more fluid and descriptive way if it were Real Writing so! I call it a Plotline. It is very long.

The plot itself is. long now. it’s a slowburn lmao because most if not all of my self insert ships tend to be slowburns. But this one? This particular self insert? Sumi B? Yeah she’s the only one with trust issues so she mothers the BIGGEST slowburns known to history. It takes them a year before she even considers him a friend despite seeing him every day and also having multiple deep conversations with him. Anyway though, this one is a big comfort becuase it has something I didn’t really dare to do before. Kalim, the canon character, falls in love with my oc first. Normally I have it the other way round becuase I’m too scared to assume that I would be like, deserving or like desirable enough for someone to have a crush on me. But with Sumi B, even I have a goddamn crush on her lmao. I indulge myself a bit with this one and really play around with emotions and!! In the most recent scene! We have finally reached the part where she actually starts to love him back! :D

I started this one a loooong time ago, at least a month and maybe two? It was Intended to be finsiehd in one night and then i got carried away and my friend got invested and then I ALSO got invested and so I started to develop the plot further so make it more interesting and keep the buildup going. It’s very fun and though i try to limit myself to summarising actions and dialogue, i fail. very often. so it often has little tidbits of more beautiful sentences and tension lmao. 

This particular fic is based off of my imagined animatic for the song “Would you be so kind” by Dodie! I didn’t know about the song until i saw other people’s animatics and I ended up taking it and running away haha! I’m currently really happy with it however I am really dreading the day where I actually write it out properly. If I don’t? I don’t know. Maybe I’ll post the plotline by itself. I have another fic just like it, one with a different self insert who (in fact) is very very close with Sumi B and considers her his older sister, that i ALSO wrote in semi detailed plot lines in someone’s DMs. Both are massive comforts to me and though i love them, their plot lines are so goddamn long that i will dread the day i decide to write them all out.

be warned: long post. really long post. mostly because i wanted to get this out of my system.

i know no one asked but since i saw @/berlinini sharing why she doesn't like h... here's my take. i've been in this fandom for seven, almost eight, years. i was a larrie for most of them and... i didn't like harry for most of them either.

yes, i am stupid. this isn't some "oh, it took me so long to see something was wrong", it's mostly a "it took me so long to realize what exactly was wrong and to admit i needed to move on".

and i feel like it's important to speak about this because new fans are being pulled into larry, shamed if they don't want to stan harry too, told that louis isn't enough by himself, that he and his art are linked to harry styles and that's how it works. you see it in youtube comments of react channels and under louis own videos with people who discover him from projects. they're fighting tooth and nail to keep that connection alive, grasping at straws to make people believe there's (still) something there.

now, don't get me wrong. i've noticed the shift too. i've noticed there's a lot more of solo louies joining the fandom, i've noticed that he's being related to h and 1D less and less and i'm happy and proud. i still feel like a lot of larries need to open their eyes (i know some of them are harries in disguise, but, judging by my interactions, i also feel like there's lots of smaller accounts that are mostly louies stuck in the same mindset i was).

i still remember where i was when i first heard the rumors about harry, columbia and how much they were paying for him (mind you, this was before everything that happened in 2015, and it turned out to be true). i had no intention to watch dunkirk, i didn't care about the movie or the promo unless louis mentioned it on a interview. i found sign of the times boring. i didn't enjoy hs1 at all. i didn't like the content he was releasing and even back then i felt like he was too distant, out of touch with reality, performative...

to be honest, while there were a few larrie blogs i checked i mostly talked about it with a few friends who are part of the fandom too, and sticked to reading fics or getting excited about ""proof"" in a small circle.

and this small circle can tell you i would never bite my tongue with them about harry and how i felt about his decisions, and about louis career and the sabotage that was going on.

but i never tied the two. sometimes i would ask myself if i wasn't being too harsh on harry, if all of it was part of his public image, if it was true he was a victim of the contracts too, someone in the closet with no options, and i tried to look "past it". while i enjoyed fine line more than hs1 some of the songs weren't for me either (and it took me six months to listen to it). and it was uneasy for me to see him getting so much recognition when he didn't seem thankful, or even interested in what he was putting out, too busy trying to achieve new levels of fame. and every new thing i find out about him makes me dislike him even more. there's no authenticity, no self-respect, no gratitude, only greediness. empty stay at home t-shirts and data-mining BLM and looking like he's giving an eulogy after winning a Grammy (and only thanking the people who paid for it).

with quarantine i fell back into the fandom and made new larrie friends, and i found myself not kinda believing the "proof" they were excited about, or like i was just checking in for the tabloid drama of it all, too obsessed to let go. but in my mind it didn't make sense, and it didn't feel right, for louis, the louis that i saw, to be dating harry styles™️. sometimes i told myself it was fine if i didn't really like him because louis loved him and it was his personal decision not mine.

i feel like i've been a good judge of character since the beginning, in my case. i picked louis back in 2015 and i'll never regret that decision. i don't think i could ever stop supporting him. but i was so tangled in the idea, had dedicated so much time and energy to larry and that long-suffering, star-crossed soulmate fantasy we built that i wasn't thinking clearly.

i don't think i was actively hurting louis, personally (i never interacted with anyone about larry in other social media platforms, i purchased, supported, tried to promote and streamed his music and only his). in everything but my reading habits i was practically a solo louie already, but yet i was pushing this idea of a relationship that would be really toxic for him, were it to be true.

right now i'm at a point where i feel like i've finally opened my eyes. if they were together, it's obvious they're not anymore. and it's obvious that harry styles is both a blank canvas for sony and the azoffs and someone who doesn't care about what he has to give up for fame. he stopped caring about louis (or anyone who can't either help his career or push his image of the month) in any shape or form, a long time ago.

he surrounds himself with people that don't respect louis neither as a musician nor as a person, and i don't think he does, either. they're not in the same place (mentally and physically, they seem to be unable to be in the same continent for long periods of time). i think i've always known, i just wasn't ready to let go of this fixation i had dedicated so many years to (mostly, fanfiction), and right now i'm pretty firm on my beliefs.

if anyone wants to come and tell me that louis will never be as famous as harry, or that i'm wrong in how i perceive people... go ahead. i don't care. i don't want that level of fame for louis if it comes at that price, and i don't think he wants that either.

i've been here for the highs and the lows of louis career, and i can say i am proud of how his fanbase is growing organically right now, and how he owns his past instead of renouncing it, but he doesn't allow it to define him either. i see a consistency, a hard-working, warm-hearted person, even in the face of everything that has happened.

i see someone worth my time (and my money, which i'm more protective of 😂). i never saw that in harry, not even during the early days.

Klave has been blessed with so many talented writers, so this is quite the list.
