Hyrule's words 'that's a funny group- the youngest and the oldest', show that maybe he had subconsciously assumed Smithy to be younger (perhaps due to his height)? But of course, Four is way more mature than one would expect. I think knowing he's not the youngest, most of them didn't worry about it because he's so quiet. Four is the one who's there quietly helping.

So basically I'm in love with the idea that none of them know the smithy's age because he's kept his secrets close, and over time they will continue to realise they don't know much about him-he doesn't talk as much.

Grouped into the categories in this post, it seems he's among the youngest. Yet in Jojo's tags (the ones I put above), she described him and Twilight as 'not that far off in age'. Or, as that's what Four might've said to Twilight.

Jojo changes her mind sometimes, and we're not in it, so where is the Smithy in the ages groups? Is he closer to Twilight's age or Wind's? The question of the ages. (hehe, that was a good one.)

But as far as the rough categorising, Hyrule is right- Four is one of the younger heros, so that group is the youngest and the oldest. It seems they are uncertain on that though

While I agree that the pacing of Monstrosity is the one factor against it, I can't help but not really care That much right now... like you have to think about the budget, and how producing these shorts must have actually Been.

Sun Creature Studios is no doubt a very expensive studio, because hand-drawn animation is expensive, so they probably already blew a fuckton of cash on the three shorts we have alone!

If Lego went for a 20-minute or even a 40-minute special for an idea that they weren't 100% sure would succeed, it would look VERY bad for them, especially if it DIDN'T succeed.

I would've liked it to be longer too, trust me on this, but factoring in how much effort went into it, and the fact that it's more of a pilot to gauge fan interest in more mature Ninjago stories than its own genuine series, it makes sense that they didn't go all-out just yet.

That being said, if it IS a success and we do indeed get more Legends shorts, (provided the budget allows for it,) I WOULD absolutely love for longer stories, which can tell a story with MORE time to tell it.

Judging from these panels, would it mean that there's no other yorishima exorcist that's still alive (since natori said that the yorishima family "was once" a big name, past tense) in the canon timeline, and that the yorishima we know probably ended his family's exorcism business for good by retiring himself? If so, was the reason tied to the youkai living in his left arm, or is there another cause? And when exactly did he retire— was it before or during seiji and shuuichi's high school days, which was why his left arm appeared with the thick bandages when he gave them the loquats in the anime, but he still lived in the estate during that time, or was it after the two became legal adults, which lined up somewhat with him moving into his forest home, abandoning his family estate in favor of living in isolation?

And, speaking of retirement, I wonder if we'll ever know why midorikawa told us that the takis were "famous" (which presumedly meant they were strong enough to be well-known) as occult diviners, since tooru herself only ever mentioned what their previous family business entails, and never about their status in the exorcism community? We don't really need this extra bit if she wanted to further establish how tooru has an aptitude for spell-casting, either. Again, there's another "strong" family (whose members are still alive in canon) that went into retirement, but did the taki family lost their power because the ability to see (if they were needed for diviners) disappeared for at least the last three generations (if we assumed that tooru and isamu's parents couldn't see youkai too), or was it due to another reason? How close was shinichiro (tooru and isamu's grandpa) to the matobas that even the current clan head came to pay his respects during his sixth death anniversary; was his relationship with seiji's father strictly resolved around exorcism business, or was anything else involved? Does tooru herself doesn't fully understand the prowess her family once had, hence why seiji was the one who told takashi (and us readers) about it? What would this tiny bit of lore mean for tooru with it revealed this late into the manga, when tooru herself only talked sparsely about her ancestors in previous chapters?

i love the fact that the wonderlands sekai is created from tsukasa's feelings, and i like to imagine how much his feelings can affect the sekai and vocaloids that inhabit it.

for instance, usa-chan is in the sekai, but what else? do you think there are some of rui's robots? like the dragon one from their new years show, or the zombie ones from the halloween show. it's so fun to think about.

i imagine if tsukasa had a crush on rui (using him as an example because i love rks), it would affect the vocaloids, especially miku and kaito, since they are the two that are the most strongly connected to the sekai. would miku become more clingy as a manifestation of tsukasas thoughts and feelings? would kaito tend to pay more attention to him? (obviously neither in a romantic way between them and rui, as they are just tsukasa's feelings.)

also, since tsukasa was able to create an entire world, do you think his feelings would be able to manipulate the sekai? if he was going through a hard time, would it become a bit more empty?

again, if he had a crush on rui, would it be able to create a small space just for them two? a place for them to relax and cuddle and all things like that? i love the idea of that and i need to know how much of an influence tsukasas feelings have on the sekai, especially because he is the sole creator of it.

For the folks looking forward to "Sanctuary" by Lamar Giles, I just thought I'd throw out a little tidbit from his YA book "Not So Pure and Simple," which adds to my optimism that he is going to flesh out Phee's character beyond what we saw in the show:

The last episode of Orb: On the movements of the Earth got me yelling "WHAT" like three times out loud but what does this all meaaaaaaaaaaan?????? I must admit the final end did petter out softly rather than on a high, but it was expected in that we all kind of sensed there was no way the show could possibly outpeak Nowak's arc. The epilogue tied up the remaining loose end that's followed us for the entirety of the show, but we're now left with more questions that we have no answers for, and that irony/running theme is most certainly not lost on me. Well played, show, well played.

Like, imagine Obi-Wan is the head of the household and Anakin is, like— I don't know, he could be a stable hand or a groundskeeper or one of the prince's annoying friends or something who is always causing chaos and tracking mud through the castle [on purpose to annoy Obi-Wan who is always yelling at him] and they just fucking hate each other.

This does not change when they get turned into objects, constantly sniping and bickering but seeking out the other's company more and more because it's the only way either of them really feels anything anymore.

Then The Beauty shows up, and they find themselves working together to get them to fall in love with The Beast.

SIDEBAR: who do we like for them?? Din and Luke? I mean, we can't see the guy's face, so that kinda works. Ahsoka and Rex? Han and Leia? Quinlan and Ventress? [And why do I feel like all three of these are more fun if she is The Beast?] Chewie and Han??

it's kinda implied like w/ springy the only contestants who had any "memory" or opinion on spoiled lemon prior to the finale are people who were still competing as of episode 10 when mephone created them. so realistically paper didnt even know spoiled lemon EXISTED until fan and the gang came back to hotel oj. he has no personal investment in this band he's never heard of before (same with season 1 and season 3 contestants) he just wants to see his friends happy!!! and he knew how much the spoiled lemons tickets meant to fan :(

also what was their problem here..... every time i watch this segment for some reason i think fan's gonna say like "thank you paper YOURE AMAZING LOVE YOU BYE!!!!" cuz that's the entire vibe of this scene. fan prioritizing paper and saying "there's nothing more important than being in this moment with paper right now" is crazy??
