today’s hot (or maybe lukewarm. idk) take is that i don’t think buck actually dislikes his last name. because it’s evan that he needs to correct people on every time he introduces himself to people. it’s evan that he associates with the emptiness that he always felt in his childhood home, it’s evan that only feels right coming out of maddie’s voice because she was his only light during those years, it’s evan that he doesn’t even recognize from anyone else’s mouth but hers. it’s evan that eddie addressed during the will scene, evan that eddie used to coax out the hurt, neglected child within him because he knew Evan was the one that needed it most — needed to hear how much he was loved. and it's evan that he shed when he finally found his place, and it's buck that he put out there to the world in the hope that the people he loved would embrace him right back. and they did.

i am so happy to see so many people like him, i saw that poll going around asking who everyone plans to romance and its an amir SWEEP. i’m super excited to have more auDHD representation in this game, but therein the problem lies.

i come to you with a humble request (especially to the neurotypicals/allistics out there) to be a bit more mindful of how yall go about talking about him.

some of the things i see being said about him veer dangerously into the infantilization territory that is ALL too common with autistic characters in media, and its kinda disheartening to see. i wouldnt be saying this if it was a throughline for all the male characters (or any of them for that matter), but im hard pressed to find any of these kinds of comments about arthur, quincy, or even aoi. things like “oooh my little baby boy i want to squish his cheeks hes so adorkable hes my little blorbo my poor mentally ill baby” ring way way different when it’s pointed at the one (canonically) autistic character that got released.

like i said i’m super pumped that people like him!! i love him and can’t wait to get to see more of his character development in the coming updates. all i ask is people try and be a bit more mindful of the way that they talk about this. as eleanor said: “He’s not a beautiful, broken marionette, and he’s nobody’s project. He’s one of us.”

i love that a majority of the eltingville self ship ocs are woc.. like theres 0 women of colour in the og comic and theres pretty much no women in the comic overall (which makes sense its a critique on like.. entitled white boys being mad abt comics and hating diveristy in comics is a big part of that) but it still makes me so happy to see the amount of woc in the fandom as a woc myself ^_^ like yesss a brown girl would have fixed bill and i believe that wholeheartedly

honest to god i think like. bill cipher is the only being from euclydia to LITERALLY have an eye. like everyone else can see but he is the only one that Physically has an eyeball. something about "eye doctor of a different kind / wants to make the patient blind" and "its not your fault you have that strange eye" tells me that the "mutation" he has isnt just being able to see into the 3rd dimension. he can see into the 3rd dimension Because he has a mutation, that being his Eye

Studio Wabi Sabi announced today that they will close down their artist management department and from now on focus on production.

Artist management will continue as usual until the end of established contracts (and there's currently a lot of artists on Wabi Sabi's roster ... they haven't even updated their website yet).

Several artists have already terminated their contracts and jumped ship over to gmmtv:

I don't know what this means for... literally all of my faves (who are at this point still with Wabi Sabi) but I hope Bas, Earth, Benz, Art, Tor and Oat will quickly find new managements too. Bas doen't even have one (1) finished Wabi Sabi Project under his belt (the Fourever Project pilot trailer not counting). 😭
