Hello! If you don’t mind, I would like to request a Rebekah Mikaelson x reader?
Something like, reader is human but is the key to one of Klaus’s plans, so he takes her to the Mikaelson mansion and keeps her there. She’s kind of a prisoner, but Rebekah has seen this film before, so she’s just expecting one of her brothers - or both of her brothers - to fall in love with yet another stupid human and make everything complicated again
However, reader starts to get affectionate with her. She starts looking for her when she needs something, when she has to make a decision, she looks at her for reassurance, she goes to Bekah’s room late at night to talk and very often just falls asleep there, it’s a whole thing, but Rebekah is always expecting the moment she’ll leave her for her brothers, not really opening her heart, she’s scared because she has been fooled so many times
So, one day she sees reader talking with Elijah and she’s even giving him those pleading eyes she usually reserves for her and they both shut up immediately when she gets close, and she knows the moment came, Y/N will be Elijah’s, Klaus will freak out and hell will break loose. She’s hurt but pretends no to be and just starts keeping reader away
But reader was only talking to Elijah because in one of these late night talks, Rebekah told her that no one has ever baked for her even though she has been doing it forever, so she was just trying to convince him to get everything she needed to bake for her, she’s completely in love with Rebekah
So, that’s it! I hope you like the request, thanks anyway!

God, Rebekah Mikaelson has seen the same scene play out so many times, she’s starting to feel like she’s spent half her immortal life in deja vu. For a family of Original vampires that prides itself on being leagues beyond the rest of their bloodsucking proteges, the Mikaelson brothers can be a little, well, predictable. Especially at times like this.
If there’s one perfect example of the Mikaelson men repeating themselves, it would have to be the hostage problem. Rebekah can’t even begin to count the amount of times she’s witnessed the same damn thing over the centuries. At this point, it’s starting to border on ridiculous, yet the only one who seems attuned to this problem is Rebekah. And it’s not as if her brothers are really that keen to listen to her, anyway. Certainly not about something like this.
Every time, it starts and ends the same:  one of her brothers, maybe even Rebekah herself, will drag in some human or vampire or witch to serve as a hostage during one of their many disputes with the neighbouring supernatural beings. They’ll chain up this poor sap in a cell, or lock them in one of the many rooms of the Mikaelson mansion. At first, all will be perfectly ordinary. The hostage will beg and plead to be rescued, Rebekah’s family will laugh scornfully from atop their ivory towers, and everything will go as planned.
But then the negotiations don’t happen as quickly as they would like, and the Mikaelsons end up spending a lot more time with their hostage than initially envisioned. They have to tolerate the company of this foreign presence more and more, especially since the hostage often ends up being a key part in someone’s plans, and information is required from them. Then, Elijah or Klaus, or heavens, even Kol sometimes, will end up spending far more time with this hostage than ever before, and they’ll do the unthinkable and fall in love.
Rebekah is no stranger to the plight of the lovestruck Mikaelson. Although it seems impossible, one of her brothers will fall in love, and then face the unsightly issue of having to wrestle with their guilt over letting the hostage go, or the more likely option, they’ll keep the hostage forever as a little trophy or token of their affections until they fall out of love again and the hostage is set free.
This has happened many times over the centuries. No matter how much her brothers love to talk about how they’re so above mortal things like feelings, Rebekah has watched them fall victim to their hearts until an affection becomes an affliction. Normally, she wouldn’t have a problem with any of this, it is rather amusing to watch her brothers fall over themselves in an attempt to woo a human of all things, but more often than not she ends up being the reluctant ear to their monologues, so the whole affair has grown rather wearisome over the years.
And so, when Klaus drags yet another human hostage into the Mikaelson mansion as a cog in one of his many elaborate plans, Rebekah just sighs and mentally starts planning when she’ll take an extended vacation out of New Orleans yet again so she won’t have to deal with all of this. It’s a shame, too. She was just starting to put herself back out there again, and now all of her hard work is for nothing.
Rebekah watches from the balcony as Klaus dramatically announces to the hostage that they’ll have nowhere to go unless they help him. This time, he’s allowing the hostage free reign of the place, since he’s had a witch charm the hostage into being unable to leave the mansion unless Klaus directly allows it. That way, he won’t have to deal with pesky things like vervain getting in the way of his commands.
Rebekah sighs, rolling her eyes at the scene. The hostage seems like a perfectly nice young woman, albeit one that has absolutely no idea what’s coming for her. Inwardly, she wonders if she should start issuing ominous warnings about staying away from the Mikaelson brothers, although if this hostage is in any way involved with the vampiric communities of New Orleans, she supposes they would already know more than enough about that.
A sudden whoosh of air by her side; Rebekah looks up to see Elijah suddenly emerging from the shadows of the hall to stand next to her. “Something seems to be troubling you,” he notes. “Should I be afraid to ask?”
Rebekah just groans. “Klaus has gone and conjured himself up yet another hostage. This is not going to end well.”
Elijah arches a brow. “You don’t mean to tell me you think Klaus will harm her already? He should hold off at least a week or two, he needs her alive.”
Rebekah shakes her head. “Worse. I think he’s going to grow to care for her. Either you or him.”
Elijah chuckles. “Well, I hardly think that being under the protection of a Mikaelson is cause for concern. If anything, it should extend her lifetime a few decades or so.”
Rebekah scoffs. “I couldn’t care less about how long she lives. I just don’t want you two to bother me when you fall in love again.”
Elijah gazes down at the hostage. “You don’t even know if she’s our type. We might not like her in the slightest. Rebekah, have you even bothered to learn the poor girl’s name? That’s meager hospitality on your part.”
Rebekah almost laughs. “Dearest brother, I do not give a damn who this girl is or what she’s done wrong to get herself on Klaus’ radar. The more she stays out of my way, the better.”
With that, she spins on her heel and heads back towards her quarters. This plan is one of Klaus’ mad schemes, not hers, so Rebekah is determined to avoid the whole matter as much as she can. Maybe then she could finally manage a moment or two of peace and quiet around here.
Peace and quiet, as it turns out, are not the sorts of things to hang around the Mikaelson estate, certainly not when Klaus has a few tricks up his sleeve. Try as she might to stay out of the way, Rebekah finds herself brought back into the mix not by Klaus, or even Elijah on one of his many attempts to bring the family together, but by the hostage herself:  Y/N L/N.
Rebekah had been honest with Elijah when she said she couldn’t care less about the hostage. Really, she couldn’t. For some reason, however, Y/N seems to have decided that Rebekah is her best bet when attempting to navigate the complex relationships of the Mikaelson extended sphere. She’s not wrong, really, Rebekah can be level-headed when she decides it’s interesting enough for her, but she can’t fathom why Y/N would seek her out intentionally.
Yet this is precisely what happens. Y/N takes it upon herself to introduce herself to Rebekah out of the blue one day, then keeps tracking Rebekah down to ask her questions or seek advice on how to deal with Klaus. Honestly, it’s ridiculous. Rebekah does not need new friends, nor would she try to find them in a human.
That being said, she doesn’t entirely mind Y/N, not really. As far as humans go, Rebekah would be kind enough to say that she’s one of the better ones. She doesn’t annoy Rebekah like some of the Mystic Falls crew did, and she listens intently whenever Rebekah speaks, as if she truly cared about what Rebekah had to say. After many lifetimes over her brothers overruling her every thought, Rebekah can’t deny that it’s nice to have her opinion valued every now and then.
Just as expected, Y/N’s tenure in the Mikaelson mansion drags on for longer than planned, and what was meant to be a stay of just a couple of weeks turns into one month, then two. Y/N remains, and she remains by Rebekah’s side. They actually exchange jokes, and secrets, and before Rebekah knows it, she actually looks forward to when she crosses paths with Y/N. They get along brilliantly, and when Y/N isn’t with Rebekah–
Well, when she’s not with Rebekah, she’s with Elijah. Practically glued to the hip. At first, Rebekah would jealously tell herself that Y/N would never get along with Elijah, but inside, she knows it isn’t true. If Y/N can win over Rebekah when Rebekah was firmly opposed to the whole idea, then good-tempered Elijah would be a walk in the park to Rebekah’s bloody battlefield.
It makes Rebekah sick. She knows how this play turns out, doesn’t she? Rebekah has attended many showings, and no matter the venue, no matter the star actress, it always turns out the same. The hostage falls for a Mikaelson brother, not sister. In the end, there is love to be shared, but not with Rebekah. Never with Rebekah.
She wants to tighten her hold, but afraid of pushing Y/N away for good, she pretends as if nothing is the matter. Y/N doesn’t seem to notice the war brewing between Rebekah’s ribs. She spends more and more time in Rebekah’s room, talking over some issue or other. Sometimes, when the nights get low and Y/N forgets to leave, she’ll even fall asleep on Rebekah’s bed, or when leaning against her shoulder. It feels personal. It feels like maybe, it might even be Rebekah’s turn to fall in love.
She knows better, though. Of course Rebekah knows better. Rebekah has been through enough lifetimes to know that hope is a very rocky fissure upon which to build one’s aspirations. Even if a lot of her life has been spent daggered in a box, she still knows enough to not be naive. This story isn’t going to go her way. It never does.
She’d like it to, though. She really would. Y/N gets along with the whole family, and Rebekah can’t stop herself from imagining how nice it would be to have a significant other that wasn’t in danger of getting murdered by Klaus or Elijah for once. Klaus, with admittedly great reluctance, has come to value Y/N’s input. And Elijah’s conversations with Y/N seem to increase in number, but mainly whenever Rebekah isn’t around.
That happens a lot, actually. They’ll be getting along, thick as thieves, and then the moment Rebekah turns the corner and comes into their direct line of sight, the two of them mysteriously clam up. Keeping secrets, it seems. From her. And Rebekah reckons she can guess the subject matter quite well.
That’s it, then. That’s the mystery sorted, the grand question of which Mikaelson their latest hostage would fall for. It’s not as if this hasn’t happened before, but Rebekah finds herself far more disappointed than she had for any of the others. Vampires are protective and jealous and selfish, and Rebekah is the worst of them, but still, she swears she had never wanted anything quite like this before. Now this thing, this love, this woman, is out of her reach, and Rebekah’s entire existence has suddenly turned tragic.
Although she should take the high road and pretend that nothing is the matter, Rebekah has never been good at brushing off trivialities. Once, when she was younger, Klaus had told her that she had a ‘gift for theatrics.’ At first, she’d been delighted, assuming her brother believed her to be a master actress, and then she’d realized that Klaus’ words, as they always seemed to be, were nothing but a barb meant to wound her. Then she’d stomped around as usual, doing nothing to raise her spirits and only proving him right.
Stomping around can be rather satisfying, though. When Rebekah runs into Y/N and Elijah deep in a heated conversation one day, she just can’t take it anymore. This time, instead of running away and pretending as if she hadn’t seen a thing, Rebekah purposely walks towards them. Just as before, Y/N’s eyes go wide, and she hurriedly shuts up.
Rebekah isn’t willing to let it slide, though. She stops in front of them and folds her arms across her chest. “What’s all this about? You look as if you’ve been caught red-handed. Which, I suppose, you have.”
Y/N grins weakly. “Nothing. We, uh, aren’t doing anything.”
Rebekah arches a brow. “That’s hardly believable, now, isn’t it? How about you try telling me the truth for once. I’d certainly like to hear it.”
Elijah claps his hands together. “Actually, I think this is a matter just for you and Y/N, my dear sister. I don’t believe this concerns me at all.”
Before either of them can stop him, Elijah disappears down the hall, gone in an instant. Y/N glares after him. “For an immortal vampire, he’s absolutely terrible when you want someone to stand by you.”
“That’s Elijah for you,” Rebekah murmurs. “He never likes it when we fight.”
“Yeah, well, I can hardly blame him,” Y/N muses. “Fighting with your family seems rather painful.”
“It is,” Rebekah instantly agrees, then remembers that she’s supposed to be upset. “Now, you can’t distract me anymore. Tell me what’s going on, I mean it. I know we’re friends, but you don’t have to hide things from me.”
Y/N’s eyes go wide. “You mean– you know? And you’re okay with it?”
Rebekah feels as if she’s been daggered. She almost wants to turn around and see if her murderous brother is standing behind her, ready to put her in a coffin again for another century or two. Y/N does like Elijah, then. How utterly heartbreaking. “Why wouldn’t I be okay with it?” She asks listlessly. “I know my brothers, and as far as Mikaelson men go, you chose the one who tends to be the most stable. Nothing wrong with that.”
Y/N’s brow furrows. “Wait, what are you talking about?”
Rebekah looks away. Thinking it is one thing, but admitting the painful truth aloud suddenly seems far worse. “You know. You’ve fallen in love with my brother.”
She isn’t sure how she expects Y/N to react. With relief, maybe, that she won’t have to hide anymore. What Rebekah certainly isn’t expecting is for Y/N to start laughing. “What? No, Rebekah, I’m not in love with Elijah. I’m in love with you.”
The floor seems to have fallen about beneath Rebekah’s feet. “With– with me?”
Y/N laughs again. It’s a lovely sound. “Yes, Bekah, I love you. It’s very easy to do, you know.”
Rebekah shakes her head, still not entirely sure that she isn’t dreaming or something. This certainly feels like a dream. “But– you’re always with Elijah– and you keep sharing secrets with him that you won’t tell me–”
Y/N grins. “That’s because I’m trying to make sure he won’t tell a soul. Elijah figured me out a few weeks ago. Mainly, though, I’ve been trying to persuade him to get me a few things. I want to bake something for you, and Klaus only ever keeps this house stocked with blood and alcohol. It’s sort of horrific, actually. You don’t even have baking soda.”
Rebekah’s brow furrows. “You wanted to bake me something? Why?”
Y/N’s smile turns quiet. “You mentioned it once. You were sad that no one had ever baked for you even though you were always making things for your brothers. I didn’t want you to feel that way anymore.”
“I can’t believe you remembered that,” Rebekah says softly. “I only mentioned it once.”
“I like listening to you, Rebekah.” Y/N tells her.
And at last, at long last, Rebekah knows why. She’s seen this play before. For once, she gets her happy ending.

do u write for damon? if u do can u pls write where he’s touchstarved and is dating reader who doesn’t like affection but since damon is affectionate towards her she got used to it but still hates it when other peoples touches her and damon is so smug about it
Tumblr media
Cute
Ive never been one for affection, PDA or anything. It’s taken a while for Damon to break down my walls.
Started off with little touched. His hand touching mine as he stood or sat beside me. Over time he managed to actually hold my hand without me putting up a fuss. Then he started seeing how close he could sit to me. Eventually he managed to have me pulled against him, sometimes on his lap if he was lucky. Often he had his head on my thigh or in my neck.
For some reason the other people in this town seem to think because he gets to be affectionate they can also start sitting really close, the other day Stefan put his arm around me. It was not on.
This morning i was downstairs sat on the couch with my feet up on the footstool. I was just sat on my phone minding my own business when Caroline strolls in and throws herself down next to me. Right next to me.
“Hey y/n, i was thinking, we should take a girls trip, me, you, Bonnie, Elena. What d’ya think?” She asked with a bright smile
“I think you could’ve asked me that over text” I murmured
“Yeah but i wanted to come see you” she smiled…and then she hugged me. She put her arms around me and pulled me towards her. I saw Damon walk in from the kitchen with a plate of food. The second he saw us the plate fell from his hands and he froze.
“Caroline. Get the fuck off of me right now”
Damon burst out laughing as Caroline backed off and he ushered her out of the house before returning and dropping to the sofa, his head in my lap making me run my fingers through his hair.
“I like when you get angry” he muttered with a grin
“People know I don’t like it, why do they insist on pissing me off?” I asked in distaste.
“Do i piss you off?” He questioned and i glanced down to him
“No…no you look cute so i cant be all that mad at you” i mumbled making him smile
“You think I’m cute?” He asked
“When you want to be yes” I murmured tracing his features with my fingers
“You’re cute too” he whispered and i scrunched my face up
“Please never say that again”
“You’re adorable”
“I hate you”
“I love you too”

hi, can you do a one-shot for klaus, where he has a crush on y/n, and they have a one-night stand, and Klaus is sad because he thinks he won't see her again, but then he gets the news that y/n n is pregnant with his daughter (reader gets pregnant, no hayley, y/n is Hope's biological mother) and klaus takes the news well, because it's someone he loves and takes the pregnancy as an opportunity to make t /n love him.
Making her love me
Pairing: Klaus Mikaelson x fem! reader Word count: 7,4k (way too long, sorry not sorry) Warning(s): smut mention, panic attack (a little), swearing, and typical TVD violence. Nonsense from me: I'm so excited to post it since it's my first request/ask or whatever I should call it. I hope it's basically what you asked for, Gallus Anonymous! <3
Tumblr media
Klaus Mikaelson loved Y/N Y/S.
The original hybrid was hopelessly in love with her since the first time he met her on his family's ball. He will always remember that day.
She looked like an angel. Well, maybe more like a devil (judging by the fact that part of her hair was arranged in two small buns imitating horns), but still, she was the most beautiful girl at the party (and maybe in the whole world).
When he saw her, dancing in her black-golden dress with one of Salvatore's brothers, he knew that this girl would be his at the end of the day. Even if he has to fight with these bloody, young vampires.
Unfortunately, Y/N didn't have the same feeling when she first saw him. As a proud member of a Mystic Falls group (who returned to the town after a school exchange), she was obligated to hate the Mikaelsons.
But she must admit to herself that the man with the British accent was incredibly hot.
Damon, noticing Klaus's sudden interest in his friend, decided to use this to his advantage and pushed Y/N into the arms of their nemesis. Klaus was delighted. Y/N disgusted.
The original hybrid stuck to her for the rest of the evening, forgetting all about Caroline. Y/N has since become Klaus Mikaelson's official distraction. And she wasn't happy about it at all.
Her friends would use the Siphon Witch whenever they needed to keep Klaus occupied or to ease his bloodlust after doing something stupid (like stealing white oak stakes right under his nose and 12 obedient hybrids. Great plan, Damon!).
Y/N would have to wisely bump into Mikaelson and spend some time with him until the Mystic Falls heroes fix the shit they made. At least the girl was much less stressed compared to her friends, and sometimes she really enjoyed the company of the hybrid.
Once, a man took her to a cafe-studio where little-known Mystic Falls artists would gather. She returned to the Salvator Brothers' estate in navy blue paint, with little constellations painted by Klaus on her face, arms, and neck. Damon barely refrained from making a sarcastic remark.
Fortunately, Stefan saved him from her very likely wrath, because every time someone makes jokes about Y/N's relationship with Klaus, she gets mad and loses control over her magic power. Once, Bonnie had to repair Stefan's motorcycle. The vampire learned his lesson then and tried not to annoy her again. Sometimes, though, he seriously considered letting his older brother cross the line. He wondered if Damon would cry over a damaged car.
With time passing, Klaus had only a stronger crush on her. Everyone knows that. Expect Y/N herself.
At best, she thought the hybrid regarded her as some sort of friend or a distraction between his villainous grand schemes. There could be no feelings between them. Not when she already had a very loving boyfriend whom the original hybrid found out about at a 1920s school party.
She bewitched him completely then. And he was ready to tell her the truth about his real feelings for her and try to make her his, but then he saw this other guy holding her like he wanted to hold her the first time he met her. For Klaus, this man didn't deserve her attention; that human didn't realize how valuable a treasure he was holding in his hands right now. Klaus wanted to go away and let Y/N enjoy dancing with this lesser man. He really does. But when she turned and looked at him with these beautiful, delightful eyes, he couldn't just disappear without exchanging one last word with her.
After all, Klaus was a selfish man.
"You don't mind if I cut into you." Klaus' voice came from behind me, making me shiver.
"Yes. Actually, we do." My boyfriend snarled, recognizing the guy who was "hanging dangerously around me." He had no idea about the supernatural shite we were in and I had no idea how to tell him all of this (or just didn't want to).
Klaus just smiled unfazed, catching his gaze.
"Why don't you go somewhere far away and come back in 20 minutes? You can be useful and bring the beautiful lady something to drink." my boyfriend dutifully obeyed, leaving me with a smug hybrid. "Shall we, love?" he grabbed my hand and pulled me to him, swaying to some slow, romantic song without waiting for my response.
"Why do you always have to prove you're the alpha male?"
"I don't have to prove anything, love, I'm the alpha male." he replied, offended. I rolled my eyes, sighing.
"You would've loved the 1920s, Y/N. Girls were reckless, sexy, and fun. They literally used to dance until they dropped." he turned me around, smiling slyly.
"Since they were so reckless and drunk, I suppose it was easier for you to find a lover then."
"You should be nicer to me. I'm leaving town tomorrow." I shifted my gaze to him, shocked by the information he had thrown at me. "I'd invite you to come with me, but we both know that you're not ready to accept my offer. Perhaps one day you'll turn up at my door and let me show you what the world has to offer."
"How many girls fell for it? A magical tour of the world with an all-powerful original who plays with them like toys?"
"You mark my words. Small-town boy, small-town life won't be enough for you." he said, completely ignoring my previous words.
"And how do you know what's enough for me?"
"Because I know you, Y/N. Do you imagine marrying that stupid man with whom you were dancing later? Giving him children, living too short to make your real dreams come true?" I wanted to look away from him, but he gently grabbed my chin, forcing me to confront him and all my fears at the same time. "You want love, trust, passion, excitement, and even a little power, and unlike this fool, I can give you all of this and more. Just say a word."
"But for what price?" I asked, taking a big breath.
I realized we were much closer than was appropriate for a dance, but neither of us cared. His gaze was moving from my eyes to my mouth. I licked my chapped lips unconsciously, stuck in some incomprehensible anticipation. Only for what?
"Kaus. Y/N. I finally found you two. We have a problem. Klaus' mother is back." Stefan interrupted the moment between us.
I swear I could hear a little swear from the hybrid before he took my hand and led me towards Stefan, who was hurrying away.
After that, T/N didn't get a chance to meet Klaus again. Since they were on opposite camps in finding the cure, Y/N tried to avoid the hybrid at all costs. He just wanted to use her. Seduce her with his sweet words to make her do everything he wanted. She had no other explanation.
Klaus, on the other hand, tried to get her out of his head in every way he knew how. He couldn't keep up with adding new canvases for the portraits of his one-sided crush. His siblings were starting to worry about him.
Especially after he found out her boyfriend was going to propose to her. (Damon has never been prouder of being a gossip boy.) This overflowed the hybrid's cup of bitterness.
Kol and Elijah walked around their brother like they were on eggshells. Rebekah, on the other hand, has no such pity. It was her occasion to tease Klaus, like he was doing whenever she fell in love (at least Rebekah didn't want to kill Y/N like SOMEONE).
But nevertheless, she was the one to tell Klaus that Y/N rejected her boyfriend's proposal. The original never loved his sister more. He was happy that Y/N was now single, and he even thought that in the near future he may have a little chance with her since there were no other competitors for her heart.
But even in his wildest dreams, Klaus would not have dared to think that Y/N would knock on his door that same day and greedily bite into his lips as soon as he opened it. And not that she'd start ripping his clothes off and pushing him into his bedroom (which surprised him, given that she knew how to get there without his directions).
He never would have thought that one night would change his life forever.

Y/N's POV
I sighed, rolling over to the other side of the bed as the first rays of sunlight somehow hit my eye. I always kept the windows closed. How come I didn't do it this time? Reluctantly, I opened one eyes to look at my treacherous bedroom window, only to found out that I wasn't in my room.
Also, not in my bed.
And not in any clothes.
AND DEFINITELY NOT ALONE.
As soon as I looked at the calm, sleeping, and clearly satisfied (judging by his disheveled hair) Klaus, memories of last night started flooding back to me.
Panicked, I looked around the room for my clothes, trying to ignore the sight of overturned furniture, a broken mirror, and even a dent in the wall. Unsuccessfully. My face has never been so close to the color of my blood.
Once I'd traced my things, I carefully got out of bed and dressed as quietly as I could, closing the vampire's bedroom door behind me. Now all I had to do was get out of the house full of originals unnoticed. Simple, right?
"Y/N, darling! What a pleasure to see you this morning. How do you feel?" Klaus' little brother jumped out of nowhere and threw one arm around my shoulders, making me come inside the house again.
"Hello Kol. Bye Kol." I tried to dodge him, but he sped up to stand in front of me.
"Wait a minute half-witch. You're going to leave my brother like this? After your… noisy night? He'll be devastated. Was he not up to the task? I could teach him a bit if that's a problem for you. You have my word that within a week you won't be able to stop…"
"Kol! For the bloody hell, stop this awkward conversation. I'm sorry for him, usually we keep him in a coffin." Rebekah cut him off and stood next to him, glaring at him furiously.
"Um… no problem, I guess. If you don't mind, I'm gonna go now."
With even redder cheeks, I ran out of the mansion and, at the speed of light, got into my car, driving far away from this town. I needed rest, and I knew only one person who would be willing to take me under their roof without any questions.
"Hi Katherine. Where are you right now?"
~•♤♤♤•~
"Are you sure it's just food poisoning? Won't you die here suddenly? Do you want my blood?" Katherine flooded me with questions as I returned to our table.
It's been 2 months since my "great escape," as Damon liked to call it, from Mystic Falls. At that time, I was traveling with Katherine around the United States, doing what I wanted to do most: seeing the world (starting with small things like staying in all states). After the brunette gave the cure to Elijah (while experiencing her epic love story with him, which ended with her heartbreak over Elena's meddling and Elijah's doubts), she decided to accompany me on my quest.
I had to arrange everything in my head. What I wanted out of life, who I wanted to be, and so on.
That was the main purpose of this trip.
In fact, I helped Katherine heal her broken heart and tried to avoid the topic of Klaus Mikaelson like the plague. With small or big successes depending on the day.
Sometimes Damon, Stefan, or Bonnie would mention how snappy he'd become after my sudden departure or that he was asking them about my whereabouts. The worst was his drunken voicemails he left. They ended after the first month, but they were the biggest test of my perseverance. I had to piece my twisted life together before adding my love problems with the world's (nearly) oldest living vampire to the puzzle.
At least that was the plan until those New Orleans bitches got me.
As soon as we left the bar, some girls accosted us and knocked us out with magic. I woke up in some cold, dank, musty crypt with Katherine by my side. At least I wasn't alone. We both had a better chance of defeating those witches. The new thing in those two months was my sudden ability to do magic without any source of energy. It looked like my abilities were starting to screw up too.
"Are you Y/N Y/S?" one of the witches approached us, staring at me warily.
"One and only. May I know who I am having the pleasure of?"
"Sophie Deveraux."
"Sophie. Some time ago, I knew a girl with this name. She got under my skin too. She is dead now. You can guess what happened to her."
"Yeah. It's definitely her. I couldn't imagine someone more of this psycho's type." she told her friends. The women grabbed us both and led us out of the makeshift cell to drag us to the main hall of the crypt.
"Allright. Can one of us tell why you are holding us here?"
"We need you, sugar, but your friend is just an accessory, so if you want both of you to get out of this somehow, you'll keep quiet." seeing that I had no intention of objecting, the unknown woman smiled victoriously. "Good girl."
I gave her a sweet smile before breaking her neck with a flick of my wrist. There was a sudden commotion around us. Katherine suffered a brain aneurysm after one of the witches raised her hand on her. The brunette screamed once before someone else appeared in the crypt, tearing out the heart of the witch who was attacking her.
Elijah.
Elijah came to save the day.
"I thought you wanted to talk, and both Katherine and Y/N were supposed to be unharmed." he said in his legal tone, shoving his hands in his pockets as he stepped between me and Kath. The woman was as pleased with the presence of the original as I was.
"She started." Sophie pointed at me. Elijah turned to look at me. I shrugged.
"You make me." I answered her with a malicious smile.
"Y/N." the man said warningly. This noble bastard won't tell me what to do.
"Elijah. Nice to see you. Maybe you can tell us why we've been locked in some fucking tomb? Is this some kind of revenge of yours, or did we get caught in the crossfire of Mikaelson's skirmishes purely by chance?"
"I would like to know that too. You wanted to be heard. Speak, before I change my mind." he turned to the witches without changing his defensive position.
I gave Katherine a brief, knowing glance. The woman reluctantly nodded at me. Great. We have personal cannon fodder if things get hotter.
"Marcel Gerard, ruler of the city, forbade the witches of my coven to use any magic. We want your help. Especially your brother's."
"Niklaus? You have to make him go to town first. And as far as I know, she's not in the mood for any outings right now."
"Even if he gets a message from her?"
"Your mother didn't teach you not to point at people?"I growled at her as she did it again. "Besides, I didn't text… You have my phone, don't you?" I asked, realizing it was their only way of contacting the hybrid. The woman tossed me my phone with a sly smirk.
"Read." I scowled but followed her instructions anyway, wondering what it was that would make him stick his nose out of Mystic Falls.
"I need you, Klaus. New Orleans. Witches cemetery. Please help me. Yeah. I can already tell you that he won't come. We're waiting here for no reason."
"And why is that?"
"This news reeks of a damsel in distress from a mile away. I would never write to him like that. I also doubt if he even cares what happens to…" I stopped when I heard someone's scream in the distance. A man mentioned earlier had burst in with blood on his hands and lips.
Well… mistakes happen.
"Great! Now that we're all here, we can start. We need your help." The woman began to explain the whole thing about Marcel and the witches. Everything was clear except for one thing.
"And where exactly is my role in this Machiavellian plan of yours?" I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.
"And who said I would agree to it instead of just killing you all and taking Y/N out of here?"
"I can take myself and KATHERINE out, Klaus. I don't need your help."
"Oh, do you?" he took a few steps towards me to stand in front of me. I snorted, returning his dark gaze. There's no way I'll be afraid of him.
"That's how we get to the main topic." Sophie paused, catching our attention again. Klaus stood next to his brother, giving the witch his famous sinister look while he was waiting for her to continue. "You see, I have a special gift for knowing when a woman is pregnant."
"And how exactly is this fact important to us?"
"She's carrying Klaus' child."
I broke the sudden silence in the crypt with a very loud laugh.
"And you're insane or a very, very bad liar."
"I'm telling the truth! You're pregnant with his child." she tried desperately to convince us.
"Vampires can't procreate, ergo, I am not in any false pregnancy."
"Vampires can't. But werewolves can. And Klaus is both."
"That's ridiculous. Klaus, say something! She didn't tell the truth, did she?" I tried to find support from the speechless Klaus. By the way, I think it was the first time I saw him without words.
"Y/N, be quite for a second."
"What? Elijah, are you believing her?" the man responded with nothing, staring at me with a strange look.
Klaus walked over to me. He stopped a few steps in front of me, staring at my belly as if he was hypnotized.
"I can hear it." he whispered, looking at me in disbelief.
"Hear what?"
"The baby's heart."
"What? But... it's impossible." I suddenly felt my heart beating much faster, as I was unable to catch my breath properly.
"It is. Like being a hybrid or a witch without her own magic. And yet we're here. And we gonna have a baby."
"No. That's a lie. I... we... I need fresh air." I avoided the brothers standing in front of me and headed the way Klaus had come from earlier. Unfortunately, one of these witches blocked my way and grabbed my arm tightly.
"You're not going anywhere until we settle the details of our deal." right after she said that, I felt her hand being removed from me. I was pulled against someone's strong chest. The familiar smell of Klaus' perfume brought me a momentary sense of relief.
"Touch her again, and I'll make sure that's the last thing you gonna do before I take your miserable life away from you." Klaus growled, tightening his protective grip on me and scouring the present witches with a hostile glare.
"Calm down, both of you. Neither of you will have any use for her if she faints here. Klaus, take her outside. Elijah and I will take care of everything."
Klaus glanced at Elijah. His brother nodded, encouraging him to leave. The hybrid took my hand gently and led us out onto the streets of New Orleans. We stopped in a square. Klaus sat me down on a bench and knelt in front of me, carefully watching me take slow, deep breaths, trying to calm down.
When I was sure my magic wouldn't suddenly blow up the whole city, I opened my eyes tentatively to meet the vampire's concerned gaze. I swallowed, turning my eyes away from him. He was still kneeling in front of me with his hands on my lap.
"Are you better?"
"I think so." I glanced at him nervously, fiddling with the bracelets on my wrist to internally brace myself for asking the original thousand-year-old hybrid about something incredibly... stupid. "Can you... go to the one place with me?"
"Are you sure you want to go back there, love?" I shivered when I heard this familiar nickname. I missed this. Klaus misread my reaction as he shrugged off his leather jacket and covered me with it.
"Thanks. I don't want to go back there. I think, well, I need to be perfectly sure it's true that..." I stopped, unable to say the words aloud. It would have been too real then, and right now I couldn't accept even the slightest possibility.
"That we're going to be parents?"
"Yhm. Will you go with me to the gynecologist? I don't want to do this alone."
"Anything you want, love. I'll check the address." he sat next to me and started searching for the location of the nearest clinic on his phone.
As we sat together in silence, I began to wonder at the absurdity of this situation. And the improbable, rational behavior of the hybrid sitting next to me.
"Klaus?" I asked, yanking him off the phone for a moment.
"Yes?"
"You're not... you know. Crazy about this? Or something like that. I mean... I thought you gonna ask me if it's yours, of course if it even exist, but still. You're so... calm. Like not you."
"Would you rather me to run mad around town and deny our baby?" I chuckled, imagining his lunatic walk through the streets.
"No. To be honest, I would have expected something like that than this, but it's a nice surprise. It's enough that one of us is scared to death. Thank you for keeping a cold head."
"Don't get used to it, love. C'mon. I know where to go."
In less than five minutes, we got to the building and waited in line. There were many other people in the waiting room, but what caught my attention the most was a couple sitting in the corner. Husband and wife. The woman was probably in her third trimester (or had quadruplets. God, please let me have only one if there are any.) The man whispered something tenderly into her belly, and she smiled at him with just as much adoration. Involuntarily, I imagined Klaus and myself in this situation. I glanced at the tense vampire next to me. He was also staring at the couple.
"Y/N Y/S?"
"It's me."
"Are you going alone or do you have any company, dear?"
"My boyfriend is coming with me." I said, taking Klaus' hand. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw an amused smirk on his lips. We started walking hand in hand behind the doctor. The vampire leaned toward me.
"Boyfirend, huh?" he whispered in my ear, clearly pleased with the situation.
"Don't get used to it, love." I repeated his earlier words, trying to imitate his tone of voice. The man chuckled, politely following the doctor with me.
I had to admit that it was funny to watch Klaus in such a... strange situation. His nervous, slightly stressed demeanor gave me courage as I lay there waiting for the ultrasound results. The cold gel tickled slightly, but I gritted my teeth, waiting for the final confirmation of my fate.
"There it is. That's your baby. Congratulations!"
Klaus put his hand on my shoulder and leaned gently toward the small screen. I stared at the tiny speck as if it were enchanted. It really was happening. I will be a mother.
"Do you want to hear your baby's heartbeat?"
"Could you give us first a second alone, doctor?" Klaus spoke as he saw me still staring blankly at the screen.
"Of course. I'll be back in a few minutes."
"Oh, my God. It's real. We'll have a baby." I choked out after a few seconds of silence between us.
"You took that information really quickly, love."
I punched him lightly on the shoulder, finally turning my attention to the man standing next to me.
"Stop joking with me. Aren't you scared? I mean, a few hours ago we were on the other side of the country, living our lives, and now we're looking at some stain, which is our baby. Are you that calm, or am I being dramatic?"
"Of course I'm afraid, but I know we're going to figure it out. Maybe if it were someone other than you, I would be paranoid and mad, but it's you. With you by my side? Nothing can go wrong." I burst into tears at his emotional confession. Stupid pregnancy hormones.
"Come here, you idiot." I wrapped my arms around his waist and snuggled into him. "I hope Katherine got our things back."
"Yes. Speaking about her..." he said, moving away from me to look at my face.
"She is staying with me and you're not going to kill her." I said it in a tone that left no room for any objection. It's been 500 years; whatever conflict there was between them should be over by now.
"Absolutely not."
"Yes? So be prepared that if this little one is a girl, she'll be named after aunt Katherine, who couldn't be there for her mom because her dad is acting like he's on his period."
"You know you've been pregnant for a few hours, and you're already using it against me?" he asked resignedly. The grimace on his face was a clear sign of my victory.
"Get used to it. You're stuck with me for a while."
"I think I can work with that. Let's go home. I think uncle Elijah and Katherine will want to see the first photo of the newest member of the Mikaelson family."

*Two months leter*
"Good morning, Y/N"
"Morning Elijah." I grunted from my book, never taking my eyes off the text I was reading.
"Have you eaten yet? Want me to make you pancakes?"
"Actually..." I didn't have time to answer, because an extremely happy hybrid came out of the kitchen with a large tray on which was my breakfast.
Elijah looked at his brother in disbelief as he sat comfortably next to me on the couch and began feeding me with a fork while I continued to read my book as if nothing had happened.
"Niklaus. Can you explain?" his brother was shifting his bewildered gaze between us.
"His werewolf hormones tell him to look after me. So when I told him I wasn't having breakfast today because I didn't want to stand in this heat by the stove, he made it his morning's main goal to make me a decent meal. At least Marcel and the witches will get some rest from him today."
"Werewolf hormones?" very amused Kol entered the living room, staring at the hybrid with a malicious smirk.
"Yes, brother. Werewolf hormones." Klaus' cool tone caught my attention away from the book.
"Of course... your werewolf hormones. So that's what they call it now. Just don't flood Y/N with this sudden tenderness, or the girl will get scared and run away from you again." before Klaus could make any move towards his younger brother, I grabbed his hand and moved him so that I could get more comfortable on his chest.
"He is weird." I commented as I took a grape from the bowl and popped it into Klaus' mouth, much to Elijah's astonishment.
"Weird? No. Just a little joker. I have to go now. I'll meet you later, Niklaus. Please, don't start without me."
"Do I want to know what he was talking about?" I asked, giving him a curious look.
"It depends. Will you get angry?"
"If it has to do with that teenage witch, Davina, that your adopted son treats like a daughter? Probably." his silence was an answer enough. I pulled away from him, eyeing him disapprovingly.
"Klaus."
"Yes, love?"
"Promise me you're not going to hurt her."
"And what does it matter? I'm not Elijah, how sure are you that I'll keep my word?" my angry look, however, fortunately made him give up. "Alright. She'll be fine." he sighed, rolling his eyes.
"Thank you. On the way back, you can stop by the store and buy me more chocolate and ice cream."
"As you wish."
He got up from the couch, placed a quick kiss on my already-showing belly, and left the living room, passing Rebekah as she entered. His sister looked at me curiously.
"What?" I asked, fed up with her penetrating gaze.
"Nothing. You two seemd very... compatible with each other. I'm impressed."
"Well, he's the father of my baby. We have to get along. For the baby's sake, it's best if we're friends."
"Surely." she hummed, completely unconvinced.
"Rebekah. What do you mean?"
"I mean that "just friends" wouldn't act that way. My brother never treated anyone with such affection. He's doing everything he can to impress you. For a bloody hell, he even changed his plan to take over the city for you!"
"She is right." Katherine walked past her and threw herself on the couch next to me. "He does everything he can think of to make you fall in love with him. For example, that "almost date" at the best restaurant in New Orleans last week. Or the fact that you've been given unlimited access to his credit cards, safes, stashes of clothes, and God knows what else. Or that weekend out of town so you could relax. Do you think they seriously didn't have a second room with two beds in the hotel?"
"Nik used the one bed trope? He's even more desperate than I previously thought." Rebekah snorted as she poured herself a glass of whiskey.
"Even if what you say is true, which I doubt, I have no intention of changing anything. Klaus and I work well as friends, and for the sake of this child, we will continue to be them so."
"So you don't love him back?" Rebekah questioned, coming to me, so she could stay in front of me. Her evaluative look somehow made me feel guilty.
"It doesn't matter what I want or feel. The most important thing for me is my child and I will do everything to ensure at least a little normality for them. If Klaus and I tried to be together and it didn't work out... At least this child deserves reasonably normal parents."
"What if you were happy together and created a loving family? Wouldn't that be better for everyone?"
"It's not worth the risk, Bekah." I replied, getting up from the couch to escape the inconvenient conversation with the original vampire.
"Risk of what?"
Losing him.
I didn't answer as I left the room. I decided to hide in the library for the rest of the day and try to forget the doubts the blonde had stirred up in me.
But my wild imagination did not give up so easily. I began to consider a possible relationship with Klaus. Despite what I told the girls, I wasn't blind to Klaus'… flirtatious remarks and behavior. I saw every long, stolen glance at me, every quick look at my lips during any conversation, and most of all, the longing shining in his eyes that was so similar to mine and that I somehow managed to hide from him.
I wanted to spend my life with him. But I also knew that I'm not enough to keep him away from his scheming and fighting for power. For the good of this baby, I had to be content with being his formal one-night stand and friend at best. Even if my heart yearned for him every single day.
Thinking about my unattainable future, I didn't even notice when I got to the library. But I certainly saw two people kissing in the room.
Klaus and Camille. At least he cleared up all my doubts.
I was probably the only one who noticed how my heart shattered into a million pieces. At least until Klaus pulled away from her, confused, and spotted me in the doorway.
"Y/N." he whispered, terrified.
"I'm sorry, I didn't want to interrupt… I'll leave you alone."
"No! Y/N, wait!" he shouted, trying to get to me, but before he got even a step closer, I used my magic to teleport myself to a New Orleans street.
I leaned against the building next to me as the first post-teleport symptoms started to hit me and my head started spinning a bit. I shouldn't have done it while being pregnant, but well… I couldn't stay in the same room with these two any longer.
Once I had recovered, I decided to order myself a hot chocolate and sit with it in the park to collect my thoughts. I had to come up with some clever, eloquent way out of this predicament. And most of all, refrain from crying.
Thinking about this situation, after all, everything happened as I wanted. Klaus had found someone else to adore, so I could stop worrying about the deterioration of my relationship with the Mikaelsons.
We would be friends.
Just as I wished.
The only problems were my stupid broken heart and festering feelings of jealousy.
I wiped a tear running down my cheek with the sleeve of my sweatshirt. I shook my head, taking a few deep breaths to calm myself down. Something that stupid couldn't get me off balance. I had to be strong. If not for myself, then at least for this little one.
My phone buzzed. I pulled it out of my pants pocket and glanced at the screen to see the photo of Klaus sleeping with me on the couch that I had set as his contact picture.
I remembered that night. It was one of the first month at the Mikaelson Mansion and also my favorite.
"Can't sleep?" Klaus stepped out of the shadows to stand in front of the fireplace, which flames I had been staring at earlier.
"Not even tried."
"May I?" he asked, pointing to the blanket that covered me. I nodded, opening the hem so he could slip into the space next to me. He put his arm around me, moving us into a more comfortable position. One of his hands automatically went to my slightly rounded belly. I sighed, resting my head against his shoulder, and returned to staring at the flames of the fire. "What's bothering you?"
"Remember when Tyler kidnapped me and…"
"Please tell me you're not going to lecture me again about how I shouldn't have attacked Elijah." he interrupted me with a groan of displeasure.
"I'm not, but your brother didn't deserve this. Even if he was talking some shit about you. You knew I would never believe it."
"You wouldn't?"
"Of course not. You always try to protect your family, not always in a good way, I have to admit, but still, I know you would never use your own child for your games. I trust you." he tightened his grip on me and cleared his throat.
"It's good to know you're at least on my side, love."
"Your siblings too. If you'd just let them in, maybe you'd see it too, but that's a topic for another time."
"I know better ways to spend my free time with you, love. One of them brought us to this situation." he smiled slyly, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.
"Very funny, but we have to talk about something serious."
"I'm sorry. What are you thinking about?"
"Have you ever thought about whether there is a chance for our child to be… a tribrid?"
"Tribrid?" he asked, confused, stopping to play with my hair.
"You know. You're half vampire, half werewolf; I'm a witch, siphon, but still… Can our baby inherit all of this from us?"
"They might as well only have the gene of a werewolf, a witch, a vampire, or a hybrid. I think all options are possible. Maybe in my mother's grimoire we can find the answer to that question. These books are as old as the world."
"You can include the birth of a miracle baby in your search. I hope we won't summon a demon into the world." I joked, turning slightly to look at his face again.
"I thought you already knew that the demon has been walking around this world for a long time, and you're cuddling with him on the couch. By the way, it's our search."
"Our? You seriously want to just give me access to your mother's precious books? The same ones that have so much knowledge inside them that you won't let any other witch see them whole, or even your siblings?" I was shocked. I would never in my life expect something like this from him, but on the other hand, he has done astonishing things many times before.
"You're different."
"Like how?"
"I trust you."
"You did?" I whispered after a few seconds of silence. Those words were more striking than three others of equal importance he might have said to me. Klaus doesn't trust people that easily, I think he falls in love with them more often…
"You wouldn't be the first to hear about all my plans if I didn't. Besides, you're the mother of my heir..."
"Keep treating your family like a fucking dynasty, and you'll have to buy me a crown and my own castle." I cut him off when I heard that horrible term for our baby.
"Why do you need a castle when you already have your throne, love?"
"You're impossible." I chuckled at this awful attempt at flirting.
"That's why you like me."
"Maybe." I yawned suddenly, unaware of how tired I was. I felt the hybrid's soft, warm lips against my hair before both the blanket cocoon and his grip tightened around me.
"Sleep. I'll stay with you and I will chase away your nightmares."
"How did you know?" I asked, feeling him gently brush away the strands of hair that had fallen over my eyes.
"I know you. Besides, I can hear everything through these thin walls. I would rather hear your screams for other reasons than nightmares."
"Deviant."
"Only yours." I heard as if through a haze before falling into a deep, peaceful sleep.
The next day, Katherine found us sleeping together and took a picture of us. One of my favorites.
Before I could answer the phone, I felt someone snatch it from my hand, and something hit my head at breakneck speed, knocking me out. Stupid witches.

~A few hours later~
I was kneeling in front of the crib that Katherine and Rebekah had set up after the whole witches' fiasco. After those damn witches kidnapped me, they cast some strange spell on me and the baby to speed up her (as it turned out) growth and thus her birth.
A few hours ago, I was a human pregnant with a hybrid. Now I was a heretic, the mother of the thyrbid, the most powerful creature on earth.
I guess life with the Mikaelsons was all about sudden, unexpected changes. At least they weren't boring.
Elijah, Kol, Klaus, and Marcel were running around the city, killing the last witches who had allied with Esther. Rebekah and Katherine have been delegated to look after me and the baby until the boys get the hang of the situation. A bit sexist, but I didn't have the energy to argue about it. Not after I so impressively returned to the graveyard and killed half the coven.
After feeding on the blood from the bag, the girls gave me a moment alone with my sleeping daughter. Her first day in this world, and she was already trying to get killed.
"Y/N." Klaus' tired sigh snapped me out of my thoughts. For the first time in hours, I shifted my gaze to something other than my daughter and met a face as tired and bloodstained as mine.
"Hi." he knelt uncertainly beside me, glancing at the baby sleeping in the cradle.
"She is beautiful. So similar to you." he whispered softly, afraid he would wake her up at any moment.
"She has a look of the devil in her eyes. That's all you."
The girl stirred in her sleep, as if hearing us talk about her. Two loving, child-infatuated looks appeared on Klaus' and mine's faces.
"She needs a name. You made a decision?"
"I was thinking about Zoe and Caitlyn. But I think we both know that Katherine Jr. is the best fit for her."
"God no." I chuckled, trying not to wake the baby after seeing his terrified look..
"Got a counterproposal?"
"Hope."
"Hope. That's actually nice. Hope Mikaelson."
"Mikaelson?"
"What? Are you not the father?" I asked teasingly.
"I'm but... I thought you'd want her to have your last name."
"Mikaelson suits her better." I replied with a shrug.
"Well, then I guess it will be Hope Y/N Mikaelson." I smiled at him, resting my head tiredly on his shoulder. We both stared in awe at the new member of the Mikaelson family.
"How did you come to that? Hope?"
"With Elijah's little help. When I found you… dead. Elijah said that I ruined our family's last hope by making out with this bartender, which, by the way, is not exactly true."
"Klaus..."
"No. Let me finish. I've never been so helpless and scared in all my life as I was a few hours ago. Never, not even in the worst, darkest moments of my life, have I been so broken, so despairing, than when I held your dead body. Whatever you think now, whatever you feel, the truth has to be told. I love you. I've loved you since the first time I saw you, and each day only brings me closer to you. You're the only one who can make me so mad, terrified, or happy. You taught me unconditional love, and even if you don't share my feelings, I want you to know that you completely changed me. It will be my life's purpose to make sure that our daughter and you are safe and satisfied." I stared at him with tears in my eyes, listening to his touching confession.
"I was so mad at you and Camille, but... I can't blame her; falling for you is as easy as breathing. Not when I did it a long time ago."
"You did?"
"Yes. And I don't want to hide it anymore. I can't hide it anymore. As I turned into vampire, everything I feel for you since all this time is more intensive. My desires, my love, and my longing - I feel them so much that I can't even imagine spending one more hour without your words, touch, or kiss. I don't want to live in a world where we're just friends. So if you promise that this is forever, then I..."
Klaus cut me off, pulling me into a longing, long-expected, passionate kiss. I moaned into his mouth, pulling him as close as possible by the strands of his hair. At one point, I bit his lip until it bled. My new ability was immediately activated. My fangs slid out of my gums by themselves, digging into his lip and sucking more of his delicious, sweet blood. We broke apart when we were completely out of breath. Klaus licked his lips, staring lustfully at my black-veined face and bloody mouth.
"I promise. You're mine. For always and forever, love."
"And you're mine. For always and forever."
"Aw... Congratulations, Nik! It only took you one child to make her yours. I thought it would take you at least three." Kol suddenly appeared in the doorway, interrupting our moment.
Klaus growled at him and threw the baby monitor at his brother. Kol dodged at the last second and tossed the device back at him, sticking out his tongue before he ran as fast as his legs could take him. I giggled, drawing the hybrid into a tender kiss.
Yeah, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.

To anon: Hello lovely, I hoped you liked it! <3
Love <3
Tumblr media
“Why can’t I leave?” You questioned frowning your eyebrows.
“Because it’s not safe Love. Understand that.” Kol said, sighing softly.
You had been asking the same question for about 5 minutes and each person you asked gave you a dull short answer. You knew everything about your mates. Well everything that they would tell you that is.
You were a witch who didn’t belong to a coven who was surrounded 24/7 by original vampires and one original hybrid. You're definitely not a skilled witch though, Klaus often refers to you as his little witch. You’ve set things on fire in anger when you’ve gotten into a fight with just about anyone. Things or people.. You’ve never tried running from your power as much as you’ve thought about trying to find a way to lock up your magic and seal it away for a better day. The world is just too dangerous to sit around defenseless regardless if you know or don’t know how to work with the weapons you’ve been given.
“Why is it not safe? What’s going on? I woke up and none of you were there just for me to come find you all and you basically give me the side eye when I ask something!” You said starting to raise your voice. Kol looked at you and he could see the fire in your eyes. You were getting upset and that wasn’t something that they could deal with right now.
Kol walked closer to you grabbing both of your hands with each of his he put them both on each side of his cheeks. It was a little habit that you’ve grown when showing affection to any of your four lovers. When they’d ask why? you’d always just say “Two hands to ground you. Two eyes to calm you.” It always worked so much that when you would freak out or get anger they started using your calming tactics on you themselves.
“Darling please calm down or else you’ll bloody burn the house down.” Kol said softly staring into your eyes rubbing your cheeks with his thumbs. So you started focusing on the feeling of his hands and you felt yourself relax and doing so slowed your heart down. Him hearing this he gave you a sly smirk "Good girl." He kissed your forehead and not a second after he was gone.
"What the hell Kol!" You yelled out feeling all of your 5 second relaxation get thrown out of the window..
Sighing, you shook your head and went on a journey through the rest of the compound to look for your mates. When you did they all were in the same room huddled up together basically whispering with the occasional yell from each other.
“What’s going on?” You asked, smiling softly in hope to soften them up to spill the beans.
“Nothing of your concern.” Klaus said immediately.
While Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah and Kol were huddled up Freya was off to the side mixing up some herbs. You couldn’t tell what they were but off the back you knew they were very strong protection herbs.
“What’s going on?” You asked sternly, shifting your eyes between your four loves and Freya.
“It’s nothing-”
“Stop fucking with me and tell me what’s going on! Tell me why you have the walls sealed up like were all stuck here in hell on earth it’s fucking hot in here! Why is it so hot!” You ranted as your mates watched you with wide eyes. Some eyes were full of shock, others were filled with admiration.
“Oh my god the curtains!” Freya said, jumping up, making you turn around to see that you set the curtains in the room on fire.
“My what is your constant need to try to burn us all to oblivion my little witch?” Klaus questioned. Turning to him you only saw admiration from him.
It was one of the things that made you love him more and more. The fact that you could burn the whole world to ash he would be right next to you cheering you on with a smile on his face. Elijah would lecture you on how you’d feel after the world was finished burning. Kol would be on the same page as Klaus, just happy to start some chaos with his love by his side. And Rebekah well it would all just depend on her mood of that day.
It made you feel less of a freak. An uncontrollable freak.
“I didn’t mean to.” You said calmly.
Freya tamed the fire with her powers but they've all learned that your flames only go out depending on your mood. And as long as you were upset or irritated the flames could and would raise at any given time. So the only reasonable thing would be to tell you what’s going on.
“Come on Nik wouldn’t you rather her know or burn down the bloody compound?” Rebekah asked, looking at Klaus.
“It will upset her. And you see what happens when she’s upset.” Klaus said frustrated that this was even still a conversion.
“It will bring her some peace, knee Klaus.” Elijah said always thinking of your well being.
“Fine bloody tell her and if we all burn don’t look at me for help.” He said plopping down into a chair further away gesturing at someone to go ahead and tell you the news.
“Marcel is planning on killing us all.” Kol said calmly.
“What?!” You yelled out with wide eyes causing the fire around to come back full force.
“Calm her!” Freya said no longer able to tame the flame.
“What did I tell you?” Klaus said, rolling his eyes.
“Bloody hell I liked those curtains.” Rebekah said, shaking her head.
You didn’t know much about they’re history with Marcel. All that you knew was he was supposed to be a friend of some sort and sometimes family? It was complicated, They said something that you never found yourself interested enough to pry about. So you didn’t. If you didn’t ask any questions you wouldn’t see him as anything more than a friendly vampire who they throw hands with sometimes. You never thought it was that deep. Until now.
“Why is he trying to kill you-”
“Never mind the reason why thousands of people want to kill us for so many different reasons.” Elijah said plainly like it was just so simple.
“They've crafted yet another weapon to try to unleash downfall upon us. It is yet another useless thing that will cease to exist once we're all done.” Klaus said, walking to you.
As he walked to you he held eye contact with you making your heart yet again flutter. Grabbing both of your cold hands with his warm ones giving you a sly smirk he then said.
“You have nothing to worry about. Especially if your worries are about us love. What you should be worried about is what curtains are going to replace the ones you’ve just burned down for no reason.” He finished kissing your lips gently but quick as he pulled away he let go of your hands and speedily walked away. Not even giving you time to say goodbye and good luck.
The flames being gone Freya also turned to leave the room. But before she left completely she said “Try not to burn anything else while we're gone yeah?”
“I didn’t mean to.” You said shuffling from one foot to another.
“I think it’s sexy how destructive you are.. As long as you are nowhere near my closet.” Rebekah said smiling kissing your forehead following behind the two who just left the room. You watched as she walked away and when you turned another there were only two left. Kol and Elijah
“Kol-” You started but was rudely cut off.
“Nope, I've already said my greetings and dismissals to you love. I couldn’t bear to do it all over again.” He stated giving you a forehead kiss on his walk out of the room.
“What the hell?” You whispered to yourself shaking your head.
“You should eat something. Read what I’ve laid on your bed, It should give you what you need to know on how to control your magic. It was my mothers.” Elijah said, taking a few long strides to you and stopping in front of you.
“Are you going to kill him?” You asked in hopes the answer was going to be no. You knew Marcel was like an on and off family member.
“If we must, I will lay down his life myself for the sake of my family.” He said sternly, smoothing down his suit.
“I thought he was family?” You questioned looking up at him.
“Sometimes family turns to foe and there's nothing you can do but save the family you have left.” After he said that you saw he was in deep thought. His eyes looked to be lost in the mist of fog. Right when you were going to say something he opened his mouth.
“I’ll make sure they control themselves. Please eat.” And with that he laid his hands on the sides of your face and kissed the top of your head. Your daddy issues were screaming, not even gonna lie. When he let go he walked away leaving with the others which left you alone with yourself and the one thought you had.
“What the hell is there to eat in this house besides blood?”

"Just a second!" I called at the sound of the doorbell. I set down the whisk and the bowl of brownie batter I'd been working on, then quickly wiped my hands before heading to the door. I peeked outside to see who it was and found none other than Elijah Mikaelson standing there, dressed impeccably in a suit as always and with his hands behind his back. I smiled, trying to ignore my racing heart as I opened the door.
"Hi Elijah," I said. He smiled as soon as he saw me, and my heart thumped a little harder than before.
"Hello, Y/N. It's lovely to see you," he said. With that, he brought his hands out from behind his back and held out a rose to me, along with a nice manila envelope. "For you."
"Oh my goodness, thank you," I said, reaching out to take both items from him. He'd brought me an actual rose, while wearing a suit. Like a Disney prince.
"The letter is an invitation to a ball my mother has decided to throw. She asked us each to find a date, and I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather go with."
"Oh my gosh, Elijah! I... I don't know what to say."
"How about... yes?"
I beamed, holding the rose and the letter a little tighter to my chest.
"Yes. Absolutely yes, I'd love to go with you. I'm so happy you asked."
He smiled. "Excellent. I'd offer to pick you up, but my dear sister beat me to that request. She wanted me to ask you if you'd like to go dress shopping and get ready with her in, say, an hour?"
"Absolutely," I replied with a grin. "Rebekah and I are due some girl time."
"Wonderful. Then I'll see you tonight."
Elijah reached out and took my hand, placing a soft kiss on the back of it before stepping away from me with a smile. My heart melted.
"Until we meet again."
With that, he turned and walked away. I watched him go, waving when he got into his car and gave me one last smile before driving off. I stood on my porch for a few more minutes after he'd gone, a dopey but happy smile on my face. I could already tell this night was going to be magical.
Rebekah showed up on my doorstep an hour later on the dot. She'd just finished asking Matt Donovan to be her date, and although she insisted she didn't have feelings for him I felt confident she was lying. Still, I didn't press her on it as we cruised the shops of Mystic Falls trying on every dress that caught our eye. Once we'd each found the one, we went back to my house to get ready.
"Oh. My. God. My brother is going to have his first heart attack in a thousand years."
Rebekah grinned at me as I twirled around the room in my literal ball gown, feeling just like a princess. We'd done each others' makeup and had gotten completely dressed, and now we were basically ready to go. After, of course, we properly hyped each other up.
"You really think so?" I asked, the heat rising to my cheeks. Rebekah nodded.
"I know so."
"Thanks, Beks. And Matt's absolutely gonna fall over at the sight of you, too."
"You're damn right he is," she said, flipping her hair over one shoulder and holding out her arm for me. "Now let's go, shall we?"
I smiled as I took her arm and the two of us headed out to the car. The last rays of sunlight still stretched over the town as we came to a stop outside Mikaelson Manor. Cars lined the street and every other available parking spot, the party already in swing as Rebekah and I arrived.
"I can hear your heart racing," said Rebekah with a smile as we walked up the steps side by side. I huffed.
"Great. Good to know my nerves will be loudly on display for any vampire in attendance."
"You don't need to be nervous."
She said the words as we came to a stop in the entryway, people pausing to look at us before carrying on with their evening. A little ways up the grand staircase in the middle of the room, I could see Elijah standing and talking to Klaus. When he glanced in my direction and first caught sight of me, however, he froze, mouth slightly open before a smile tugged its way onto his face. He said something to his brother, then started walking down the stairs and towards me.
"See? He's head over heels," said Rebekah, leaning in to whisper the words in my ear. I could hear the smirk in her voice. "I'll give you two some space."
With that, she disappeared into the crowd. A moment later, Elijah stood before me, looking even more handsome than usual (which I hadn't thought possible) in an immaculate tuxedo.
"I'm so glad you made it," he said, his words a bit breathless. He looked me up and down, his expression awed, and I smiled back at him. "You look... absolutely stunning."
"Thank you," I said, doing a little curtesy. Elijah grinned. "You look fantastic, too."
"You're very kind."
He paused, staring at me for another few moments, and despite the noise in the rest of the room I had a feeling he could hear my heart pounding. Finally, he held his arm out to me, grinning with a gleam in his eye.
"Come with me," he said. "I have a few people I'd like you to meet."
We made our way around the room, me holding tight to Elijah's arm as he at last introduced me to the rest of his family. I'd met Klaus and obviously Rebekah, but now I got to meet Kol, Finn, and his mother, too. I got the distinct impression his mother was up to something bad, and Elijah shared similar suspicions with me as we moved back into the crowd. But, for tonight, we decided to put every supernatural problem on hold and enjoy the magical evening together.
Finally, after a toast from the Original family themselves, it was time to take to the dance floor. Elijah immediately found me, offering a hand.
"May I have this dance?"
I smiled and took his hand. "Of course."
Elijah led me out onto the dance floor, twirling me into the dance's starting position amidst all the other couples. All kinds of different friends, foes, and otherwise interesting guests dotted the floor, but I ignored every single one of them. The rest of the room fell away as Elijah and I twirled into the first steps of the dance, eyes only for each other.
"I feel like I'm in a fairytale," I admitted, smiling as Elijah twirled me out and away from him before pulling me back into his chest. The look on his face sent warmth blooming through my chest.
"You certainly look the part of a fairytale princess."
I grinned, laughing a little and leaning my head on Elijah's chest. When I looked up again, I found him smiling at me, and in that moment I couldn't possibly have been happier.
"Says the literal Disney prince."
Elijah chuckled. "A Disney prince, hm?"
"Impeccable manners and honor, a true gentleman, handsome, dresses nice, and brought me a rose to ask me on a date? Yes. A Disney prince."
"I didn't realize I checked so many of the boxes."
"Easily."
"Well then, I'm very lucky to have found my princess."
I beamed at Elijah as the dance wound to an end, his arms wrapped tight around my waist as he held me to his chest. Slowly, just barely, he leaned down and glanced at my lips. I knew he wanted to take it slow for me, which I appreciated, but this was one thing I didn't want to take it slow on anymore.
"May I kiss you?" he muttered, voice low with only a few inches between us. I grinned.
"Hell yes."
"You know, I don't think Disney princesses swear-"
"Oh, shut up."
With that, I closed the distance between us and kissed Elijah, hard. He immediately returned the kiss, deepening it a little bit, although not too much since we were still in the middle of the dance floor. And just like in basically every Disney princess movie, in that moment, with Elijah, I knew I'd found my happily ever after.

Might be really lame but can I request Klaus meeting Reader after she attends the funeral of a relative in Mystic Falls? Maybe he makes her smile or something cheesy like that. Just a little meet cute goodness would be lovely 💗
she's the giggle at a funeral | klaus mikaelson
author's note; me writing things that could be considered love at first sight? it's more likely than you think
warnings: tw death, death of a grandparent, it's not graphic but it's the overall theme, grieving, brief angst just bc of internal feelings, but then klaus shows up and makes it all better. corny cheesy gooey feelings <3 enjoy
Her grandmother prided herself on her intuition.
She’d grown up with the stories of witches and vampires and everything else that went bump in the night, and though she got older and dismissed most of the warnings she’d been told her whole life, she never forgot that her grandmother was someone who believed.
And everyone else had always believed in her grandma, too. She was sought out everywhere she went. People naturally flocked to her, as if they could tell she had all of the answers to life in the palms of her wrinkled hands, and she’d lost count of how many times she’d seen someone literally throw themselves at her grandma’s feet, begging for help, or answers, or god knows what.
Her grandma liked helping people. But more than anything, her grandma liked being right. She prided herself on her intuition, and how it never steered her wrong, and it never did any harm to anyone else, either.
When her grandma first moved to Mystic Falls, the entire family had been upset because of the distance it would put between them all. But she’d waved them all off, and said she had to. That one day it would make sense, and they would see why she had to come to this town and help them. It didn’t surprise her as a child, because she’d never doubted her grandma’s desire to help people. That was something that scary stories would never take away, no matter how old she got.
She didn’t make it out much to see her grandmother. A few times here or there, but between college and then life, it got harder to make the trip. It was never worth the cost of a flight, so she always drove, but that took up time she didn’t have these days. It never changed her relationship with her grandma, though, because the woman called nearly every night, and every night, she would say that it was about time she made the trip out there.
Her grandma always said she should come out there and stay for a little while. That it would be good to slow down and take in the scenery, and breathe fresh air. That she might even meet someone she likes, or something. Her grandmother was many things, but subtle was not one of them.
She never did get to go to Mystic Falls as much as she and her grandmother wanted, but she was here now.
It just never occurred to her that it would be because her grandmother was dead.
It’s been a long week. But, today in particular was grueling.
It’s not easy losing a loved one, anyone knows that. But she really hadn’t thought about what it would be like to lose her grandmother, who was not only a hero of a woman to their family, but to a community as a whole.
It didn’t make it any easier that she didn’t realize how loved her grandmother was in the tiny town she’d chosen to live out the rest of her days in. She didn’t realize how close knit Mystic Falls was, and how it would be such an ordeal to plan her grandmother’s funeral to the point she’d be dealing with the Mayor about it.
Mayor Carol Lockwood, as it turns out, is a very tenacious woman. She refused to do anything less than host the wake at her house, and pay for any and all accommodations necessary to put her grandmother to rest.
At first she was scared of imposing, after all, she hardly knew any of these people, and couldn’t fathom wanting to pay for someone’s funeral just because of how well-known they were, but Mayor Lockwood wouldn’t budge on it and she eventually caved.
All of that is what led her to the wake, held at the Lockwood’s mayoral manor. It was a beautiful house, on a nice, large piece of property that was currently filled with what looked, and felt, like the entire town.
Hours had passed since the whole thing started, and she doesn’t think she’s had a single moment to form a coherent thought outside of the compulsory acceptances of all of the condolences and well wishes directed at her. Her grandmother was old– that’s what had done it in the end.
She was old, and she had lived her life to the fullest extent, and she went peacefully. Yet somehow the feeling of every stranger’s apologies and somewhat condescending grief was making it out to be like she’d died in some tragic accident. Like it wasn’t entirely expected at this stage, and probably years ago from some people in their family.
She hasn’t really cried since she found out. Of course, the initial reaction was surprise, and a few tears were shed as she talked to the hospital employee about what all was going to happen next, but other than that she hadn’t really cried. Like she’d said– it wasn’t shocking considering her age, but it’s been such a whirlwind of people since she got to Mystic Falls that she hasn’t really realized that her grandmother was gone.
Between Mayor Lockwood’s almost overbearing welcome wagon, and the sheer amount of people that apparently knew her grandmother well enough to come to her wake, she hasn’t really been thinking about the fact that all of this is not for any other reason besides the fact that her grandma died.
The sudden thought has her inhaling sharply and she clasps her hands together in front of her, pinkies twisting into the black fabric of her dress. She clears her throat softly, offering a polite smile to the few people she’d been half-heartedly conversing with about nothing of importance.
“If you’ll excuse me for a minute,” She says, ducking her head down as they all nod her away, oblivious to the sudden line of tension straightening her shoulders out.
She makes her way through the house she’d grown quickly familiar with over the past week, planning things with Carol, and being invited to the so-called family dinners with just her and her son, who looked like he could care less about everything going on around him.
She makes it to the backside of the wrap-around porch and finds it mercifully empty, and with a quick glance to the large yard that surrounds the property, she finds that most everyone has migrated towards the shimmering pond, or the gazebo, enjoying the fall sun that’s no longer too hot to bear standing beneath, taking it all in before it becomes too cold to enjoy.
She practically throws herself down into one of the rocking chairs staged neatly on the porch with a small table in between the two of them, and drops her face into her hands, letting her tears fall silently.
It’s not overwhelming, necessarily, and there’s no ugly sobbing, but there’s tears. Plenty of them, too. She already knows her eyes will be sore tomorrow, and she’ll most likely have a pounding headache tomorrow from it all. She’s going to have to make a detour into one of the bathrooms before she shows her face again, because she doesn’t think she’s allowed to be so openly grieving at this point. She’s held it together all week, and suddenly, at the very end of it all, she loses it? She’s sure it would get her a few strange stares from the countless people here to send her grandmother off.
She’s spiraling quickly, down that horrible, embarrassing train of thought that is likely just making her cry harder when her privacy is interrupted.
She startles at the sound of a throat being cleared pointedly, but not impolitely, and she wipes at her face messily, trying to stop the flow of tears as she turns to face the source of the disruption.
Her breath stalls in her chest as she tilts her head back, craning her neck to meet the gaze of the man standing above her, hands tucked into the pockets of his suit pants. He’s dressed for the occasion, but as far as she can tell, he’s just another nameless face that’s come to pay respects to her grandma.
“Sorry,” She says, wincing at the hoarse quality of her voice. “I’m sorry.”
The man raises a brow, his blue eyes still peering down at her with a shockingly neutral shine to them. Not leaning too far in indifference, or the collective grief being passed around today.
“What are you apologizing for?”
She bites the end of her tongue, wringing her hands together. “Um– I don't know?” She grimaces at her response, tearing her eyes away from his, feeling entirely too seen.
The man takes the other chair beside her, his hand draped over the armrest, fingers nearly touching the small table between them. “I would’ve thought it was everyone else saying sorry to you today,” He said, an almost hesitant degree of amusement in his voice. “Not the other way around.”
She nods, resolutely embarrassed at the fact that this man has caught her right at her breaking point. “Yeah, uh, they were. But I was just… over it.” She huffs a quiet noise. “Is that horrible of me to say?”
“I can imagine it gets tiring dealing with all of these people,” He says, hand waving lazily at the people gathered all around the mansion. “Strangers telling you how much they’re going to miss someone.”
She sighs, tapping the tips of her fingers together in a mindless rhythm. “They mean well. I’ve always known the person my grandma was, and this– this community meant everything to her. It’s just odd to think that she was something important to everyone here, but I don’t know them at all. It makes it hard to believe that all of this is because she’s gone,” She shrugs slightly, at a loss for words. In her momentary silence she cringes, pinching the bridge of her nose. “I am so sorry for dumping that on you. You're probably one of the people coming to say sorry to me, and I just totally–”
“No, it’s alright,” He is quick to interrupt her, his hand reaching out to rest atop her arm, not squeezing but not at all unnoticeable. “I understand. I’ve never been one to publicly grieve. It’s certainly not easy when you have an entire town watching.”
She huffs out a wry laugh, lifting her gaze from where it had been stuck on his hand now gently caressing her arm, and meets his all-knowing look.
She’s sure she looks like a mess right now, tired and tear-streaked. Her makeup is probably smudged from her tears and her hasty attempt at cleaning herself up without a mirror present, but the longer she looks into his eyes, the farther any concerns about her appearance slip to the back of her mind.
Her small smile lingers on her face, and she fights the urge to let it get bigger. She could be wrong– she doesn’t know this man at all, of course, but the longer she looks at him, the more she begins to think that he’s looking at her like she’s beautiful. Like despite the grief she’s expressing, she’s still something he wants to look at, and he doesn’t even know her name.
And, for the first time since she got that phone call last week, she feels that taut line of tension loosen just enough for her to finally catch her breath.
Biting the inside of her cheek, she brings her other hand up to rest atop his, the move startling him slightly as if he hadn’t realized he was still offering her that bit of comfort. She doesn’t make any verbal note of it, because she doesn’t want to lose it, and he’s done the exact opposite of making her uncomfortable. He’s made her more comfortable in this town, in this house than she has been all week.
“What’s your name?” She asks, eyes wide and imploring as she looks at the beautiful, blue-eyed mystery man.
She’s not sure what he sees in her own eyes, but she hopes it’s as unintentionally endearing as whatever is in his.
“Klaus,” He breathes out, voice practically a whisper. “Klaus Mikaelson.”
Her brows twitch in a slight furrow as she processes his name, and she feels her smile grow larger despite herself. “Klaus,” She echoes softly, immediately liking the way it feels rolling off her tongue. She offers her name in return, and feels his fingers twitch where they rest trapped between her skin, a source of heat that’s making her feel something she can’t quite put her finger on.
“Klaus,” She says again, watching the way he responds to her, feeling her heart race as the blue rings of his eyes expand. “Would you do me the absolute biggest favor, and help me escape from this place?”
He chuckles, and his hand clamps down on her arm, the pads of his fingers pressing into the soft skin there. “Where do you want to go?”
She shrugs, an easygoing smile on her face. “I haven’t decided yet,”
He ducks his head in a dutiful nod, standing up carefully and pulling her with him. “We’ll figure it out on the way, then. After you?”
She intertwines their fingers and pulls them towards the stairs that lead down and away from the house, and spares a glance back at it, shaking her head wistfully. Her grandmother hadn’t been wrong about what this town could offer her, it seems. But then again, there was never any doubt in her mind about that to begin with.

Christmas Shenanigans
masterlist
pairing: kol mikaelson x female reader
warning: fluff, kissing, kol being his child self
summary: you and kol spend the morning of christmas together
a/n: kol would be such a fun boyfriend oml, also I was listening to christmas music while writing this and it made it so much better
song: angels we have heard on high - james chadwick
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Wakey, wakey, darling"
You slowly open your eyes to see a giddy Kol looking down at you while poking your side.
"What time is it, Kol?"
"Uh- 5:18," he says looking at the clock on your nightstand. You groan and roll over, pulling the blanket along with you.
"Get up!" Kol jumps on the bed and lays on top of you.
"Get off of me you big baby!"
He rolls off of you and you sit up. You grab a pillow and wack him in the head with it.
"What was that for," he pouts.
"For waking me up at five in the bloody morning," you roll your eyes.
"But it's Christmas, don't you want to open presents," he dramatically sighs.
"Well, since I'm up now anyways, let's go downstairs," you grin.
"Race you down!"
He speeds downstairs and you jump out of bed to speed down as well. By the time you get to the living room, he's already there with his arms behind his head as his sits in front of the fire.
"Finally! You made it!"
"That's not fair. You cheated with your original speed, and you didn't even do a countdown"
"Awh, don't be a sore loser," he winks at you.
"Whatever, go on and open your presents, I know you're dying to"
Tumblr media
Christmas music was playing and wrapping paper covered almost every inch of the floor. Gifts were scattered around the room as well.
"We made a mess," you say looking around. You look down at Kol, who was laying his head on your lap while you played with his hair.
"Good thing we can clean it up fast"
"Touché," you grin.
"Did you like the gifts I got you? Bekah helped me- actually no, she picked most of them out. I'm not good at girl stuff," he admits.
"I did, thank you," you pecked his lips. "You wouldn't believe how hard it was for me to shop for you, it was practically impossible to think of things you don't have," you tell him.
"Welp, when you're over a thousand years old, there isn't much that I haven't had"
He sits up and goes into the kitchen. A minute later he walks in with two mugs of hot chocolate in his hands.
"Here you are, milady"
"Why thank you, kind sir"
You lay on the couch together and play 'Home Alone' for the millionth time.
"This movie will never get old," you laugh.
"You're right, it's too good," Kol agrees.
Once the movie and drinks are finished, you both work together to quickly clean up the room.
"I say we make some desserts for the party later," you look at him.
"I say that's a fantastic idea, darling," he kisses the side of your head.
Tumblr media
"Okay, now slowly pour the flour in," you instruct Kol as he held the measuring cup above the bowl you were mixing.
The cookies you had made were in the oven and you two were now baking a cake in your matching pajamas and aprons.
He listens and slowly shakes some in. That was until he had to sneeze. As he turns to sneeze away from the batter he accidentally pours the whole thing in at once, powder flies up into your faces.
"Kol," you groan.
"Sorry, darling," he looks at you sheepishly.
"It's okay, it should still be fine," you assure him.
As you finish mixing the ingredients in, Kol walks over to the bowl to pour it in the pan.
"Walk slowly, and don't drop the bowl," you tell him.
"Have some faith in me, pretty girl," he grins.
He was able to get the cake pan into the oven and you set the timer.
"We make a great team," Kol smirks, looking around the room filled with powder and previous burnt cookies that caught on fire and almost burnt the kitchen down.
"We do," you hold your hand up for a high five, he happily gives you one.
"Should we give Elijah the burnt ones?" Kol asks you.
"He would know, wouldn't he?"
"Not if he's blind folded," he grins.
"Good luck with getting him to wear one," you pat his back.
Tumblr media
"Kol!" Elijah yells after he spits out the burnt cookie.
"Yes, brother?"
"What did you put in my mouth," Elijah asks, disgust in his voice. He still had the blindfold on, to both of yours and Kols surprise.
"What do you mean? It was a cookie"
"That was not a cookie, that was- I don't even know what that was," Elijah grimaces.
You pat his shoulder taking the cloth off of his eyes.
"Technically it was a cookie," you say.
"A burnt one!" Kol exclaims.
"Hm, I see. I would tell you to throw them out but I'd prefer you to give them to Niklaus first," he smirks.
You and Kol look at each other and nod.
"Nik!"
As you wait for him you hide against the wall next to the door frame. Kol standing a few feet away from you. Elijah was giggling like a little kid as hid behind the counter with the camera peeking out to film.
Klaus gets to the room you are all in and goes to walk towards Kol. He opens his mouth to say something and you shoved two of the cookies in his mouth.
He freezes and moves his eyes to look at you while you put your hand on his jaw, pushing it up and down.
"I made cookies!" you smile up at him.
Klaus adored you, he didn't spit it out yet because he didn't want to hurt your feelings. So he swallowed the cookies as his eyes watered from the taste.
"Is something wrong, brother?" Kol asks him with a grin.
"Uh- n-no, nothing. I- um- gotta go ask Rebekah something," he excused himself. You all laugh as you hear him gag in the bathroom.
You both turn to Elijah as he stops the video.
"Send that to us"
"Jinx"
"Double Jinx"
"Stop copying me"
"Hey! St-"
"Enough! Children," Elijah rolls his eyes, walking out of the room.
Kol looks up and smiles.
"Look at that, darling. A mistletoe"
"I wonder how that got there," you look up at him with a knowing look.
"It wasn't me!" Kol holds his hands up. "Okay... maybe it was me," he admits.
"Knew it"
"I still want my kiss though"
You laugh and pull him to your lips. He wraps his arm around you and pulls you against him.
You pull your head back and look at him.
"Merry Christmas, my love"
"Merry Christmas, my angel"

Yours, To Eternity
A side part to Little One
(Au where reader is an Original Vampire from the Vampire Diaries/The Originals. They are in a family of vampires called the Mikaelsons)
Harry wants to be a vampire really bad… but will Y/N give in?
“Lovie?”
I look up at him from my spot on the couch, his eyes gazing at me.
“Yes, Harry?”
He walks over to me and sits next to me, wrapping an arm around me so I can lean into him.
“When you-When you drink blood… does it taste like anything?”
I look at him, my brows furrowed.
“Um… Ive never really actually tried to think of it tasting any way. I don’t drink more than I have to-.”
“And that ring you always wear, it’s so you can walk in the sunlight, isn’t it? What happens if you lose it?”
My mouth gapes, and I have to think for a minute before answering.
“It burns, a little bit is like a sunburn but too much is like a 3rd degree burn..”
He only nods and pulls me closer, turning his attention to the tv.
His questions don’t cease over the next week. He continues to ask more and more about what it’s like being a vampire.
“Y/N!”
I look up from my easel to see a very eager Harry in the doorway of my studio.
“What’s eternal youth like? You’ve been this way for 1000 years right?”
He pulls up an empty chair, his eyes gazing upon me in wonder. I set my brush down and turn to him.
“I guess it depends. I was lonely for a very long time and I hated what I was. But after meeting you… You have my life more meaning. So now I don’t really think of it as having eternal youth, more as living every day to the fullest.”
He nods and takes my hand in his with a smile.
“Have you thought about it? Spending the rest of our lives together? Or maybe even spending eternity together?”
I raise a brow at him but he only smiles.
“I mean I suppose I’ve thought about it once or twice.. Where are you going with this? Are you thinking of asking me to marry you or something?”
He blushes and shrugs. He then insists I stop painting and go on a walk with him. As always, I have a hard time telling him no.
____________________________
It was a slow Saturday morning, and with no plans, we decided to stay in bed and cuddle. Harry held me close, wrapped up in his arms and close to his heart as he would say.
“Y/N… Would you- How would you feel about turning me?”
I pull away from him, my face in complete shock.
“You don’t- What are you talking about Harry?”
He bites his lip and is quiet for a second before he answers.
“Turning me into a vampire…”
I shake my head immediately, disgusted with the idea.
“Absolutely not. I love you, and I always will, but that’s something I just can’t do. I refuse to. I haven’t ever sired anyone and I never plan to.”
He frowns and shakes his head.
“I know you hate being a vampire, but you don’t have to go through it alone! I want to be with you Y/N, for the rest of our lives! You said it yourself, you were miserable before we met, imagine how miserable you’d be once in gone!”
I start to tear up and I continue to shake my head.
“You have no idea what it’s like to sire someone. I’ve had to watch all my siblings do it for decades! Do you have any idea how hard that is?! And becoming a vampire doesn’t essentially mean you’re never going to die! So no Harry, we’re not having this conversation anymore because it’s not happening.”
I get up from the bed and walk out of the bedroom, refusing to talk to him anymore. Our peaceful, relaxing day off is now filled with silence and tension.
I understand what he means but he doesn’t have any idea what that’s like… I could never bring myself to do it…And I don’t want anyone else turning him either…
After almost a full day of not talking, I hear a knock on the door of my studio. I set my charcoal down and turn my head to the door to see Harry.
“Love, can we talk?”
I let out a sigh and I nod. He takes my charcoal covered hands in his and sits down opposite to me.
“This is something I think should be discussed together. I understand your fear, but you can’t just dismiss me like that. I want you to think about it, and I mean really think about it.”
I’m quiet for a minute before I nod.
“I think we should go visit my family. Elijah is the best to explain this to you… I just don’t think I can bring myself to do that to you… and I don’t want anyone else to either… It’s awful Harry! It’s not like it is in the movies! I’d have to-.”
He takes me into his arms and cradles my shaking body, quietly shushing me.
“Shh. I won’t make you talk any more about it. We’ll go see your siblings. If that is what will help you then that’s what we’ll do. We’ll leave in the morning.”
I only nod and sniffle. Harry rocks me slowly, kissing my head every little while until I fall asleep.
>>>—————————->
“Your family has a place in New Orleans?”
I only nod, squeezing his hand tight before letting out a shaky breath.
“The Mikaelsons practically built the French quarter, until we were chased out by our father. We were very happy here for a time..”
Harry squeezes my hand and together we walk into the house.
“Lijah! I’m here!”
Harry closes the door and out of nowhere pops Niklaus, scaring the daylights out of Harry.
“Jesus-.”
“What, does my dear sister not do that to you, Harry? I’m surprised you’re scared.”
Harry shakes his head and I can only roll my eyes.
“Well done Niklaus, top form as always. Where’s Elijah?”
Klaus only shrugs and smiles.
“I have no idea where our elder brother is and he refused to tell me why you were coming to visit..”
“Klaus, leave our little sister alone before I have to beat your bloody ass.”
Rebekah comes jogging down the stairs, an annoyed expression on her face until she sees me, a smile hitting her instantly.
“Y/N! Thank god, I couldn’t take much more of him on my own.”
She hugs me tight and I smile.
“Missed you too, Beks, now do you know where-.”
“I’m here, Y/N. No need to stress yourself.”
Elijah comes down the stairs, his same casual look on his face.
“You both may take your belongings upstairs to your old bedroom Y/N. Then we’ll talk in the study.”
I give him a small nod and take Harry’s hand, leading him up the stairs. We put our bags away and I lay on the bed for a minute, letting out a long sigh. Harry lays down next to me and takes my hand in his.
“We’re doing this together, like we do everything.”
I only hum and lay my head on his shoulder. We’re quiet for a moment until Harry gets up, pulling me up with him. We walk downstairs to find Elijah and Rebekah already waiting in the study. Elijah gestures his hand to the couch, and we take a seat.
“Harry, Y/N has told me that you’ve asked her to turn you.”
He only nods and squeezes my hand.
“Y/N has never turned anyone, she has always refused. So the fact that she’s even thinking about it means you mean the world to her. But she’s not able to… talk about the process…”
Harry nods again and I have to bury my head in his neck, already dreading this conversation.
“In easiest terms, you would have to consume some of Y/N’s blood and then you would have to die. Now-.”
I shake my head, refusing to hear about this anymore. I stand up but before I can walk out, Harry grabs my hand and gives me a pleading expression. I sigh and sit back down, by my eyes are trained on the floor as Elijah continues.
“With her Vampire blood in your system, you would awaken, not fully transformed, only in transition. You would have approximately 24 hours to consume human blood before you would inevitably die. But there’s many things to factor in. You want children, do you not? Y/N is unable to-.”
I frown and Rebekah interrupts him.
“Actually, Lijah, I’ve figured that out. Davina. Davina has found a way to make it possible. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.”
It’s quiet for a minute before Elijah clears his throat.
“That being said, that is still only a possibility. If Davina is willing to perform the spell, then that would take care of that. But the fact still stands that you would have to die, and Y/N does not want that. I did however offer to do so for her, but she refused. If you are going to turn, she would prefer it on her terms.”
Harry takes his hand and lifts up my head to reveal the tears in my eyes.
“I want to Harry, but I can’t do that to you…”
He doesn’t say anything, he only takes me into his lap and holds me close to him. It’s quiet for a moment until there is a knock on the door. Rebekah disappears for a moment before she returns with 2 people in tow. I faintly look up and I run at the man now with her.
Tumblr media
“Marcellus!”
I jump out of Harry’s arms and throw myself into Marcel’s waiting arms. He smiles and wraps me up in a tight hug. I feel so relieved to see him and I can’t help but let out a small laugh.
“My god, Rebekah said you were here but I didn’t believe her. How are you doin’ baby girl?”
I shrug and he lets me go and gestures to the woman that’s with him.
“Y/N, this is Davina Claire. She’s agreed to help you.”
My mouth drops in shock and I am filled with confusion. She gives me a comforting smile, easing my worries.
“Marcel would talk about you a lot and he has been even more. How you were the only Mikaelson that was never able to accept and adapt with what you were, so I want to help you. It won’t be easy but I’ve done it a few times and it’s been successful every time.”
I start to tear up and I can’t help but cry. Davina hugs me and rubs my back as I continue to cry. She then guides me back over to Harry on the couch and takes a seat across from us.
“There is however a catch. I can only do it to one of you, the mother. Vampire blood ruins a male’s um… half of the process… so in order for this to work… you would have to stay human. At least until she’s pregnant and you both decide you don’t want anymore..”
Harry nods and folds his hands together, resting it on his forehead. After a minute, he takes my hand in his and kisses it.
“Whatever you want my love. I’m with you for the rest of my life.”
I take a deep breath and nod.
“Okay… We’ll have a baby. And then? We’ll get married like we wanted. And then I’ll turn you. But you have to really understand what you’re sacrificing, H. You’ll outlive everyone. Your family. Our friends. You can’t stay in the spotlight forever… Are you okay with that?”
He pulls me into his lap and hugs me tight.
“I want an eternity with you. Nothing else matters to me, Y/N, not after I met you.”
I sigh and nod, leaning my head on his chest.
“Then it’ll be us. To eternity.”

Stoner Tea (1/3) 2.6k
The one where Rebekah’s solution to Bonnie’s panic attack is serving stoner tea at her anti-curfew party. 4x03
TW:  dissociation/panic attacks.
If you asked Bonnie how she got to history class—well—she’d struggle to answer. Her morning blended into one big blur. Someone else must’ve woken up, drove to school, and walked into first period because she didn’t remember a thing. It was like the times she sleepwalked, but worse because an invisible barrier separated her from the world. It left her trapped in a fuzzy haze, while everyone else buzzed in the background at their desks. Was she even there? Awake? In a weird lucid-magical-dream?
A yelp across the classroom tore down the mist that clouded her mind. Her head snapped toward Elena, who yanked a bloody pencil out of her shoulder. The black veins rippling under Elena’s eyes made Bonnie’s chest tighten. Elena was one of them now. A vampire. All because Bonnie failed to bring her humanity back from the Other Side before she transitioned. Grams had warned Bonnie against dark magic, had tried protecting her from the spirits’ wrath and succeeded that time. Then, Klaus kept pushing and pushing her to put him back in his original body and Gram’s grip on her hands had gotten tighter and tighter—no—she couldn’t think of that right now.
Bonnie shifted her focus to the smug thousand-year-old vampire instead. Rebekah. She looked how Bonnie wanted to feel: like she didn’t have a care in the world. Rebekah offered a faux-sweet smile to Elena and slipped into a chair at the front of the class.
The bell rang before it could escalate further. Good. Bonnie’s temple already throbbed enough without a vampire fight breaking out at eight-thirty. She needed one day where everyone got along. No neck snaps or death threats—just one normal day of senior year. Was that too much to ask?
Speaking of normal; a new teacher took over the class and offered a standard introduction. Ms. Hawthorne: a newbie right out of college. She wrote her name on the blackboard and shared her philosophy about her approach to teaching, which centered on collaborative learning. “Teamwork among students fosters an environment where you can learn from each other, share ideas, and work together to solve problems.” It sounded like a literal nightmare.
Bonnie rested her cheek on her palm and doodled during Ms. Hawthorne’s ten-minute rant about the importance of “peer learning.” But then came the big guns: middle school styled ice-breaker activities that required everyone’s participation.
Ms. Hawthorne got everyone to write their name on a scrap of paper and collected them into the round whisker basket. The idea was to pair random kids together to interview each other so they could share interesting facts about their partner to the class. Students went up to the desk one-by-one and plucked a random name out of the basket hung at the end of her desk.
The exercise sounded simple, right? Except for Rebekah’s turn. The blonde’s reception in class was hard to ignore. First, came the bad. Stefan tapped his daylight ring against his desk, paranoid she’d provoke Elena into snapping.
Everyone else had more positive reactions. Jeff Gillies, David Bance and John Albrecht sat side-by-side in the center row, wiggling their eyebrows behind Rebekah’s back as she stood up. Sarah Beasley’s desk screeched as she twisted it to face the Original vampire, and Savannah Davis drooled in the row beside Bonnie.
Rebekah’s popularity had been pretty obvious since the day she stole the cheerleading squad right out from Caroline. But there was a difference between everyone smiling at you in the hallway and people gaping at you like you owned the world. They either wanted to be her or be with her. It made sense, really. A pretty girl with a pretty accent who made hearts stop when she walked into a room. She possessed this mysterious magnetism, that certain ‘je ne sais quoi,’ which all her family had in one way or another.
Maybe humans subconsciously sensed Rebekah's power and their blatant admiration and flattery for her was their way to submit to the predator.
Or maybe they just wanted to kiss a pretty girl.
Well, that was Bonnie’s theory, anyway.
The one thing for sure? Everyone wanted the chance to be her partner—even Elena—who sat up a little straighter with a sharp pencil poised for attack. And Rebekah? She flipped her hair over her shoulder, graced the room with a knowing hiked eyebrow, and went to dip her hand in the basket.
Stefan shot across the room a little too fast to be normal and swiped the paper out of Rebekah’s hand. He didn’t even bother unfolding it before he declared, “Bonnie’s your partner.”
“Liar,” Rebekah accused. “It says Elena, doesn’t it?”
He leaned against the desk in a pretty bad attempt to look casual and said, “Nope.”
“Hand it here, then,” she said.
“Do you have something against Bonnie?” he asked.
“Nope,” she mocked him, halfheartedly trying to grab the paper.
“Sounds like you do,” he insisted.
“I do not.”
He shrugged and asked, “Then what’s your problem?”
“I don’t seem to be the one who has a problem. What’s the matter, Stefan? Afraid to let fate decide? I wonder why that is. Hmm?” Rebekah asked, waving her index finger toward Elena. Rebekah’s smug smile radiated superiority. “Oh—Elena—there’s a splotch of blood on your shirt. Wonder how that got there? You should really be more careful. I see why Stefan’s up here and not you. Wouldn’t want you to get a papercut, would we?”
“I’ll show you a papercut,” Elena said, standing up.
Bonnie tried to defuse the situation by ‘spontaneously combusting’ the remaining paper inside the whisker basket. Grams’ pained face flashed behind her eyes, stopping her in her tracks. A sharp jolt rippled through her skull when she tried again, making her grip her pencil so tight that the tip snapped against her notebook.
The crack caught the vampires’ attention.
“You okay, Bon?” Elena asked, eyebrows drawn together,
“Peachy,” Bonnie replied, grabbing one half of the pencil and placing it over her heart. She asked under her breath, “Do I need to snap it into thirds?”
Rebekah snorted.
Stefan sighed.
And Elena flopped back into her chair.
Tension successfully cut.
“Okay, kids, obviously there’s history here,” Ms. Hawthorne said. “As much as I love teen drama, let’s all take a deep breath and calm down. It’s the luck of the draw, okay? No special treatment here. It’s designed this way, so no one feels left out. Now, Stefan, Rebekah, how do you think this bickering makes Bonnie feel?”
Bonnie almost laughed at the concern and offered, “Oh, I’m totally fine going partnerless. Thanks.”
“I don’t condone exclusion in my classroom,” Ms. Hawthorne said. Did she blink back tears? Great. Someone clearly bullied this woman in high school and now she projected her issues onto the nearest tangible target. Bonnie. “Now one of you two will be her partner, and that’s final. But the choice won’t be down to either of you. Bonnie? What do you say? Who do you want to be your partner?”
“Why do I always get caught in the middle?” Bonnie muttered.
“My bad,” Stefan said, not-so-subtly nodding in Rebekah’s direction as he dropped the name-slip he stole at her desk.
Bonnie unfolded the scrap of paper and revealed a name scrawled in a familiar handwriting. It said Elena. Ugh. Stefan might’ve been dramatic about it but he was right. Elena and Rebekah? Talk about the worst possible scenario.
“Well?” Rebekah said, sauntering over and placing her palms on Bonnie’s desk. “Who shall it be? Saint Stefan or little old me?”
“Guess we’re partners, Mikaelson,” Bonnie said.
“Goodie,” Rebekah said, sliding the nearest combo desk close to Bonnie. “I’m so over their drama.”
Like she didn’t impale Elena with a pencil. “Uh-huh.”
“I know that look,” Rebekah said, narrowing her eyes. “You think I’m a wretched, heartless bitch. Join the club.”
“I don’t think anything,” Bonnie denied, doodling in her notebook with an ink pen. Black overshadowed the page. Creepy, wispy shadows that looked like they belonged at a death ritual. Yet she kept sketching, letting her subconscious throw up on the page. “Besides, I don’t have time for extracurriculars.”
“The point in this exercise is to speak freely,” Rebekah said, swiping the pen away.
Bonnie rolled her shoulders back, watched the pen spinning between Rebekah’s fingers, and said, “Right.”
“I won’t bury a pen in your chest if that’s what you’re worried about.”
Bonnie scoffed. “I’m not scared.”
“So, I’m not even a blip on your radar? Is that what you’re saying?” Rebekah asked, leaning in close and bopping Bonnie’s nose with the blunt end of the pen. “That may be even more offensive, Bonnie.”
“You like cheerleading, you’re average at physics, and you’re a big on family,” Bonnie listed. “What else is there to know?”
“A lot of things.”
“Like your crush on Matt?”
Rebekah’s nose scrunched. “I think that died the moment I sent him off that bridge, don’t you? I realized I didn’t like him much, anyhow.”
“Oh?”
“Spend nearly a century in a box and your judgment on romantic prospects may suffer temporarily. No matter. My taste is back and better than ever.”
“Do I want to know?”
“That’s the point of this exercise, is it not?” Rebekah asked, tilting her head to the side. “To get to know one another better?”
“I guess so.”
“Your enthusiasm is infectious.” Rebekah’s voice dripped with sarcasm. “I’ll start. First, my physics is flawless, thank you very much. I’ve recently taken up baking in my new state-of-the-art kitchen. I notice you clench your jaw quite a lot. Baking a great stress reliever. You should try it sometime.”
“You’re lecturing me on my stress levels? Seriously?”
“Don’t think of it as a lecture and more as sound advice,” she said, actually sounding kind of genuine? Rebekah’s eyes locked onto Bonnie’s, and Bonnie couldn’t help but be struck by how pretty they were—how blue—like the kind of shade you’d find in the ocean on a stormy night. How sincere. “You’re having heart palpitations even now with zero stressors. That can’t be healthy.”
“Zero stressors?” Bonnie repeated, scoffing at the thudding of her heart. “Hello?”
“Elena is being a brat today, I give you that.”
“I can’t with you,” Bonnie said, laughing at the girl’s purposeful obliviousness.
“Oh, speaking of stressors, my brother “died” at the hands of your teacher. Mr. Saltzman was a threat to the rest of my family. There was only one way to take him out. Tell me you wouldn’t have done the same.”
“Can we not?” Bonnie asked, rubbing her temple. “I’ve got a raging headache. I don’t feel like being collateral damage when you and Elena brawl it out again.”
“I’ll have you know I tried burying the hatchet with her. I even invited her to—” she grabbed a flier and planted it on Bonnie’s desk, “—my anti-curfew party, which you are more than welcome to attend. Think of it as a clean slate. Let bygones be bygones. What do you say?”
Parties in this town never played out well. Not for Bonnie, anyway. Everyone thought they could kick back and destress and then someone’s body got drained of blood or a poor sucker got compelled to jump off a balcony. She got swept away to perform some emergent spell most of the time and didn’t even get to have one drink. What was the point?
Just when Bonnie was about to say no, she caught Rebekah’s fingers crossed. And Rebekah remained motionless too, as if her breath were trapped in her chest.
Huh.
What was that about?
“Okay, time’s up, everyone!” Ms. Hawthorne said, clapping her hands together before Bonnie could give Rebekah an answer. “I want you to tell me three things about your partner. First, their name, and two interesting facts about them. It’ll make it easier for me to humanize you when I’m grading your papers. Let’s start with Rebekah and Bonnie. Hopefully, it was worth the drama?”
“Ladies first,” Bonnie said.
“Well, if you insist . . .” Rebekah agreed.
“Good luck with that,” Bonnie whispered, crossing her arms and leaning back in her seat.
What could Rebekah say about her, anyway? That she successfully transferred Rebekah’s brother’s soul to another body—not once—twice? Or she had a habit of napping during physics class and Rebekah only noticed because she liked to throw balled up papers at the back of her sleeping head?
“This is Bonnie Bennett,” Rebekah said, starting off strong. “Aquarius. Some might say martyr. And she’s in desperate need of a stress detox. So, in the spirit of “teamwork,” I’m assigning myself the duty of making sure she has fun today. What say you, Bonnie?”
Bonnie did a double take and said, “Say what now?”
“Wow! Hold that thought, Bonnie. I need to capture this for my records. I can’t believe I hooked up a bullied student a new friend on my first day,” Ms. Hawthorne said, taking out her phone and pointing it in their direction. “Smile!”
Bonnie’s mouth dropped open and asked, “What is even happening?”
Rebekah smushed their cheeks together and posed for the photo. “So, that’s a, ‘yes?’”
“You’re not going to stop, are you?”
“Nope,” Rebekah confirmed
“Fine.”
“You won’t regret it.”
“Now, Bonnie, it’s your turn. Two facts about your new friend,” Ms. Hawthorne said.
“Stress bakes. Awful at physics,” Bonnie deadpanned.
An awkward silence stretched out, followed by Ms. Hawthorne’s cheery, “I’ll take it.”
Ms. Hawthorne moved onto the next pair. The next half hour went in the same vein. Except no one else got roped into being a pet project. Bonnie resumed doodling and occasionally peeked at Rebekah, who leaned back in her seat, humming low under her breath. The bell shocked Bonnie out of her spell. No one wasted time and rushed off to their next class. Rebekah stuck around, though, dragging the strap of her handbag over her shoulder.
“Unclench your jaw,” Rebekah said, tapping the side of Bonnie’s face. “Your car is a white prius, right?”
“Uh—yeah?”
“We’re leaving after gym class. You’re driving.”
With that, Rebekah left the classroom, not giving Bonnie a chance to argue. Bonnie didn’t have time to process because Stefan came over with an apologetic smile.
“Hey, Bon,” Stefan said, patting her shoulder awkwardly. “Sorry for throwing you to the wolves. I figured staying by Elena’s side was my best option today. Speaking of, uh, Elena’s emotions are heightened right now. She’s clinging onto anger, anger that’s honed in on–”
“Rebekah,” Bonnie finished for him.
“Exactly. You have gym together and I was hoping you’d keep an eye on them. You know, give them a little headache if things get out of hand.”
Gram’s pained face flashed in Bonnie’s mind. “The last time I did magic, my Grams, she . . . I got out of control.”
“I understand, but—”
“She got hurt.”
“Elena might get hurt—”
“You don’t understand,” Bonnie cut him off. “The spirits hurt Grams to punish me. I can’t let that happen again. So, no, Stefan. I can’t risk it.”
“Is there a problem here?” Ms. Hawthorne asked from across the room.
Stefan shook his head, headed for the exit, and said, “No. No problem.”
Bonnie packed up the rest of her stuff and came across the doodle she drew. She inhaled. Grams. A distorted version of Grams who pried apart two halves of a shadowy curtain. Black veins traveled all the way from her neck to the tips of her fingers. And her eyes. Her eyes were like shattered mirrors reflecting the pain of a thousand cuts. The dim glow from Grams’ eyes flickered a beacon in the darkness that was a silent cry for help, a plea for Bonnie to end her suffering.  The violent imagery grounded Bonnie for a solid ten seconds before the familiar sights and sounds of the busy hallways distorted. An almost familiar warped lens settled in front of her eyes again.

Superstitious pt. 2.2

Niklaus Mikaelson x reader
Warnings/Tags: hurt, fluff, comfort, angst, strong language, violence
Authors note: It's so hard not being able to decide between these two - one day it's him, one day the other one - uff
The beginning might seem a little similar to the part two for Elijah, but be sure that it'll be something entirely different!
Anyways, here's part two for Niklaus! Enjoy!
And yes, Diego is still alive in this.
Read part one here!
Word count: 2.904
Wow.
You thought, your eyes following the particles dancing in front of you.
Since when do I see everything so clearly?
You were mesmerized by it, taking a second to admire it.
Then your hearing came back.
It almost crushed you, as every sound in a ten-mile radius seemed to be caught by your ears. Your brows furrowed as you flinched, trying to figure out what the hell was going on.
Swallowing you felt just how dry your throat was. I’m so thirsty. Why am I this thirsty?
Your eyes focused on the faces staring at you, slowly registering where you were. “What happened?” you croaked out, your voice barely above a whisper.
Elijah’s eyes shifted from you to the ground, his jaw clenched. Niklaus swallowed, averting his gaze as well. You turned, now looking at Rebekah, who didn’t seem like she wanted to give you an answer either.
You felt yourself become angry, the emotion pulsating through your body like the wave of an explosion.
Everything felt so strange, surreal.
Almost hyperrealistic.
As you swallowed again, desperately trying to fight the dryness in your throat, it dawned on you slowly. Your heart seemed to stand still - again -, as you finally grasped onto what had happened to you.
“I’m-” you cut yourself off, blinking rapidly. “I- I’m not human anymore.”
Without you noticing the tears started to flow down your cheeks, blurring your vision momentarily.
Your hand pressed on your mouth, trying to hold back sobs. You failed, as one slipped.
You flinched when Niklaus abruptly stood, leaving the room in a flash. He didn't even spare you a glance while doing so.
Your heart crushed, panic gripping it. Would he abandon you? Now that you were - about to be - a vampire?
Even if he himself was one, too?
Elijah stood up, walking over to you, before sitting down beside you. "I'm so sorry, Y/N." he apologized, stroking your back in an attempt to comfort you. "But I had to. Otherwise, you would have died."
You swallowed, as you let his words sink in.
I don't wanna die, yet. I want to live and thrive.
"So, I'm in transition right now, right?" you asked him, sniffling, but it was Rebekah who answered. "Yes. If you decide to live you need to drink blood. If not - I don't even wanna think about it."
You knew all too well what happened if you refused to drink blood. You would die - this time for real.
But you didn't want that.
"I will do it." you spoke confidently, wiping at your tear stained face. They both sighed in relief, before Elijah got up and left the room, gathering a blood bag for you.
"What are you gonna do about it?" Rebekah wanted to know, absent-mindedly scratching her arm. "What do you mean?" you asked back, confused. She tilted her head like she didn’t believe you. "About my brothers." she clarified, crossing her arms. "You know exactly what I mean. You're like a sister to me, but even I have to admit that it gets exhausting. They would fight for you to death and you can't seem to choose."
You swallowed, indeed knowing exactly what she was hinting at. But before you could respond, Elijah returned, a blood bag in his hands. "It's easier than drinking from a human - at least for the first time." he explained, showing you how to use it.
Swallowing, you grabbed the blood bag, it's heavy weight only intensifying the burden you were about to load on yourself.
You felt the veins under your eyes pulse, as you unscrewed the cap. The once irony smell was now sweet, almost luring you in. It seemed like it would wash all of your worries away, if you just took a sip.
Hesitantly, but still eager to get rid of the dryness in your throat, your lips curled around the opening of the bag, thankful for not having to splatter it all over you.
Breathing in deeply, which shot the sweet and intoxicating smell of the blood right through your system, you took the first sip.
It felt like you were reborn.
Never have you ever tasted anything this delicious, the rich flavor flooding your veins, tickling your tongue.
Eagerly you continued to drink, almost inhaling the cherry-like juice.
The blood bag made an unpleasant, squelching sound when you had emptied it, still trying to get more, though.
You savored the last drop of blood on your tongue, before you registered what just happened.
You had drank blood, and you liked it.
A lot.
Suddenly it seemed to burn your tongue, making you nauseous. Still, you tried pulling yourself together, inhaling shakily. You had to stay strong.
You were a vampire now.
Unsure of what to do with the now empty blood bag in your hands, you awkwardly put it down on the nearest table, almost missing and making it fall down instead. But your reflexes kicked in, catching it in lightning speed, before finally putting it down.
The fast movement made your head spin.
Looking back at the siblings you saw Rebekah smiling fondly. You could tell she was happy you decided to live.
Elijah seemed relieved, offering you a faint smile.
"Where's Niklaus?" you wanted to know, suddenly missing his smile in the picture. Elijah stiffened slightly, trying to cover it up, though. "I think he's in his drawing room." he explained, shoving one hand into his pocket. "He's less happy for you than we are."
You couldn't blame him, though. You understood him.
You nodded, before walking past Elijah, heading for the door.
"Y/N." he stopped you, one hand on your arm. "We should talk about what it means for you being a vampire now." You bit your cheek, swallowing your impatience as best as you could. "Later. Now, I need to see Niklaus."
You left them, only faintly hearing Rebekah mumble to herself, saying that you had already decided. But you brushed it off, not fully trusting you understood her right.
You heard him before you saw him. The canvas that barely missed you when you entered the room crashed against the wall, the wood splitting.
He didn't see you at first, though, caught in his rage with his back turned towards you. He threw everything he could get in his hands, shattering and destroying half of the interior.
"Nik." you spoke up, causing him to halt in his movements, the cup filled with brushes of different sizes still trapped between his fingers.
You heard his teeth grit, fearing for a moment they would break. He breathed rapidly, anger still rushing through his veins.
The cup in his hands shattered, as he clutched it tighter and tighter, causing you to flinch. His hand bled, but he didn't seem to care as the wounds already healed. His back was still towards you, but you didn't miss how stiff it was.
"Please, talk to me Niklaus." you pleaded, needing his attention.
He laughed humorlessly, before turning towards you, arms raised. "What do you want to know that your precious Elijah can't tell you?" he asked, a sardonic grin on his lips.
You faltered, brows furrowing.
"What do you mean?" you wanted to know, unsure what he could possibly be implying.
He huffed, shaking his head, before turning back around. "Oh, please spare me, love." he gave back, picking up a broken canvas. "Didn't he tell you? That there's a possibility of you being sired to him?"
You took a step back, not having thought about it, yet. But you were sure it wasn't the case, right? After all you didn't feel the strong need to fall at Elijah's feet, begging for his attention.
"I'm not sired to him." you explained, walking a few steps towards him. He was still picking at the canvas, not bothering to look up. "I can assure you."
He turned around to you in such speed you would have missed it with human eyes. The edge of the canvas was pointed at you, as he took a daring step closer.
"Do you know what it takes for one to be sired after being turned?" he wanted to know angrily, looking you straight in the eye.
"Love." you both said simultaneously.
You knew exactly what it took.
He seemed taken aback, mouth agape, before he licked his lips, biting down on the soft cushion. His eyes shifted from you to the ground, as the canvas fell from his grip with a dull thud.
"Love." he repeated, shaking his head slightly. "If you love someone deep enough when being turned by their blood, you can become sired to them."
You shook your head, taking another step towards him. "But I'm not sired to him, Niklaus." you tried to assure him. You had noticed how it seemed to crush your heart, seeing him like this.
Rebekah was right - you had already decided.
"Rare occurrence." he muttered, turning away from you again, brushing through his hair with his fingers. "Happens."
Your eyes widened as you realised he was about to give up to his brother - something you would have never expected to see.
"But-" you tried to defend yourself, about to tell him what you really felt, but he cut you off. "You should be grateful you get to pick." he told you, still not looking at you. "If you would have been sired-" he stopped mid-sentence, chuckling bitterly to himself. "Honestly, what difference would it make?"
You had enough.
"Niklaus, can't you see what I'm trying to tell you?" you shouted at him, throwing your arms in the air. "I'm not sired to Elijah, because I don't love him!"
He stiffened, back straightening. Slowly he turned towards you, confusion and anger written all across his features. But his eyes betrayed what he really felt - hope.
"I thought-" he started, but you weren't finished, yet. "Yes, Niklaus, you thought! Maybe you should for once start listening when someone tries telling you that they love you!"
You halted, shocked by your own words. You didn't mean to shout it at him like that, but now you couldn't take it back anymore.
You knew Elijah most likely heard you, but that was a problem for later.
A sudden fear rushed through your veins, picking at your skin like little ice crystals.
You feared he would push you away, deny you the love you so desperately craved from him. It was only now that you realized just how much you loved him. His characteristic smirk, his way of always showing you that you're important to him - just that you never realized just how important.
Now you did and you feared it was too late.
He didn't move at first, too stunned by your words. "You..." he spoke up, taking a hesitant step forward. "You love me?"
You swallowed, but nodded determined. He deserved to know.
"Yes, Niklaus. I love you."
A sound similiar to relief left his lips, before he closed the distance between you, grabbing your face in his hands. His lips met yours in such a heat it warmed up your entire body.
They moved in sync, almost like they were made for each other.
He was eager, you could tell by the way one of his hands found your waist, pulling you closer. Your hands wrapped around his neck, lightly tugging at the short hair.
You poured all of your feelings into the kiss, trying to make him understand just how much you truly loved him.
He took your breath away with his skilled tongue, easily dominating yours. His heavenly smell filled your nostrils and you could have sworn you never felt more alive than in this moment.
His lips found your neck, lightly sucking at the sensitive skin. Your breathing faltered, your hands gripping his hair tighter, trying to bring him impossibly closer.
"Klaus." a voice suddenly interrupted you, causing Niklaus to groan, before reluctantly letting go of your neck. Your cheeks heated up, making his lips twitch in amusement.
One of his daywalkers stood in the doorway, looking almost guilty for interrupting you.
Serves you right.
"Diego." Niklaus almost growled. "Can't you see we're busy?"
You could tell that Diego wanted to roll his eyes so badly. You knew him well enough, having shared a few conversations with the afro American vampire.
He seemed almost disappointed seeing you with Niklaus.
"Yeah, I saw. But I'm sure you'll want to see this." He pointed downstairs, indicating he had something important to show him.
Niklaus sighed displeased, still following Diego after quickly kissing your temple, making butterflies erupt in your stomach, taking you along with him.
Downstairs was a group of vampires gathered, a woman standing in the middle of them. Niklaus' face grew dark, as he seemed to recognize her.
He let go of your hand, stepping towards her. You stayed behind, not sure what was about to follow.
"I know you." he told her, the vampires parting to let him through. "Brave of you to turn up here."
She smirked at him, tilting her head. "I'm surprised she's still alive." she spoke, voice unwavering; sparing you a glance. "Though I assume she must be a vampire now."
Niklaus' patience burned down quicker than a match on fire, as he grabbed her by the throat, squeezing her windpipe.
"Who sent you?" he demanded to know, his eyes turning golden. The woman rasped out a laugh, causing Niklaus to squeeze even tighter. She yelped, suddenly fighting for her life, clawing at his fingers.
"Who sent you?" he repeated louder, pushing her against a wall, creating little cracks in the cement. "E- Esther!" the woman croaked out, as she desperately tried to save her life.
Niklaus went pale at the name of his mother, before his face turned even darker than before, anger causing him to shake as he snapped her neck with a flick of his wrist.
A deadly crack rang through the compound, making you flinch.
Niklaus let the limp body fall down, looking at it a second longer, lost in thought. Then he turned around, marching towards you whilst giving orders to clean up the mess.
He gently grabbed your hand - a stark contrast to his sudden mood, before leading you back to his drawing room.
"Aren't we gonna tell the others?" you questioned, as he sunk down on the couch at the far end. You sat down beside him, leaning your head on his chest. His fingers glided through your hair as you listened to his rapid heartbeat.
You could tell he was exhausted, the shock still deep in his bones.
"Not now." he quietly gave back, kissing your hair. "I first want to spend some time with you, before my mother gets the chance of ruining everything again."
You had heard the stories about Esther, knowing that she wanted to kill her own children. If she was back, it surely wouldn't take her long to show up in person.
You sighed, tracing circles on his shirt clad chest.
"I have the feeling this will get interesting."

Can you write one where reader she's a witch, best friends witj Freya. She gets distracted by Kol and her powers go crazy when he's near her or around. Reader tries to keep her distance from him but he refuses to let it happen and get the bottom of it etc.
Uncontrollable Powers | Kol Mikaelson x Reader
my masterlist ↪M A S T E R L I S T
Tumblr media
Freya and I are bestfriend, I don't know how I managed to get myself in the middle of the Mikaelsons but I just did. Not that I'm complaining because the youngest Mikaelson brother keeps me on my toes.
I, like Freya was a witch. Of course, not as powerful as her but a witch nontheless.
"So, where are we going today?" I ask Freya, everyday we try to do something new... so far its been three days. "I want to stay home" she mumbles stuffing her face with crisps.
"We started this 3 days ago and you already want to give up?" I ask her sitting down next to her and she nods "yes." she says. mouth full of chips.
"fine, incendia." I say signalling all the candles in the room we were in to light up "out of all the spells, that's your favourite?" she asks and I nod.
"Freya where is Niklaus?" Kol says bursting through the doors, all the flames on the candles either go out of burn brighter and larger than before, going out of control.
"y/n" Freya grabs my arm and I take my eyes off of the hot, youngest brother as the candles go back to normal.
"you okay, darling?" Kol asks me and the candles go crazy again "uh yup, yup im fine" i nod trying to control myself, but for some reason I couldn't "right" he says "Niklaus is with our sister, looking for Marcel." Freya answers Kol's questions as he sits down opposite us.
"oh shoot, my dog needs feeding." I mumble, I didn't have a dog but I did have a reason to get away from Kol "you don't have a dog?" Freya says "yes, yes i do." I say rushing out of the room.
Walking towards the kitchen only to realise theres no real food in this house "Y/N" Klaus yells giving me a fright turning around throwing a blood bag at him in fear as he catches it "KOL HE'S HERE, your younger brother wants you." I clear my throat scratching the back of my head awkwardly.
"Well you read my mind." Klaus smiles as Kol speeds down "there's your brother, right i'm off for my dog." I clear my throat walking out of yet another room Kol seemed to be in.
"y/n!" Kol yelled and I spin around instantly "yeah Kol" I say in a high voice, internally slapping myself for sounding like an idiot. Klaus smirking at me and I roll my eyes "we know you don't have a dog." Kol says "I know." I smile before walking off.
As I walk out of the Mikaelson residence my phone buzzes and I pick up "a dog seriously?" freya's voice says over the phone, trying to hold in her laughter "yeah well I couldn't think of anything, he's just so ugh frustratingly gorgeous. how did he get the good looking genes freya." I mumble walking down the street.
"to be fair, he was the last born." freya mumbles over the phone, crossing a street and taking a left "what happened to your powers? it was like they had completely left your body." freya asked in a concerned tone.
"i-i genuinely don't know, i just heard his voice and i like went crazy." i chuckle nervously "i know you like him but, geez y/n." she chuckled breathlessly "i know i know." I sigh.
"i'll just have to keep my distance from him... easy" I shrug unlocking the door to my home "yeah not easy. he's here all the time and who else is here all the time? you." freya's muffled voice says as I put her on speaker tossing my phone on my counter as I opened my fridge.
"it wont be hard i mean, i'll just not come over." closing the fridge and squatting down to the freezer "then it will confirm your stupid crush." freya says "well what? it's not like i don't want to be near him." i huff pulling out a tub of ice cream.
"just ignore him, easy." freya says, it wasn't easy to ignore Kol Mikaelson especially when he's always in everyone's face. With his stupid british accent, that I found highly cute.
"look tomorrow come over, if your powers go bizerk again then just leave. Don't even say a word." my best friend continues "fine" i mumble "love you" i continue "love you, be safe." she says "alright bye." i smile to my phone even though she can't hear me and the call ends.
Grabbing a spoon sitting back on my sofa.
My powers had never ever done that. I'm so confused because I can usually control my stupid powers in front of Kol given that I've liked him for like a year or two, im so shocked. Maybe i like like him.
A few minutes pass of thinking and then I hear a knock at my door "hold on" i say with my mouth full of ice cream, placing it on the counter as I walk over to the door "Kol" I jump, my lights start flickering as I slam my door.
"Y/n?" his voice said through the wooden door "yup hold on." I yell the lights continue flickering, my heart beating fast. WHAT'S HAPPENING.
Opening the door again, composing myself. The lights still flickering "y/n, hey." he says "you can't be here." I say bluntly "really? you know i can walk in you invited me in, you remember?" he asked "you know your lights are flickering?" he asks again.
I nod smacking my lips "I'm familiar." I say giving him a smile "i can fix them... if you'd like?" he suggests looking up at my lights "uh, i know how to fix them thanks." i smile to him "fine well can i come in?" he asks, I give him a stern look.
"it's not like i'll eat you, your blood would probably taste foul." he scoffs "very well." he takes a step into my home, walking around looking at every speck of detail in my house from the cracks in the walls to the fact that i had ice cream on my counter.
"nice place" he chuckles "yeah it's like you've been here a few times to get away from your family, can you go now. I need to fix my lights." placing my hands on my hip and he sighs "I can fix them." he turns to me and I raise a hand, composing myself with the flick of my hand the lights fix themselves.
"told you, now leave." I point to the door "whatever." he mumbles before rushing out the door, closing it behind him.
Tumblr media
a few days later
I wont, I repeat I will not go to the Mikaelsons. Even if Klaus threatened to kill me.
Relaxing on my sofa, watching a random friends episode only to laugh at Joey's slow realisation to Ross grabbing his sweater off the table.
I laugh at the TV loud enough for the whole of New Orleans to hear until my phone rings.
"y/n i know you said you wouldn't come over, my family has a predicament and i-" "i love you frey, but no it's been a few days." I cut her off. I was not going to see the youngest brother and mess up my powers because I have feelings for him.
"i need you to anchor me." Freya says "what?" I ask him "Kol is in trouble" she says and I hang up the phone rushing over.
Rushing through into the Mikaelson Residence only to find Klaus and Freya sitting on the stairs with smirks on their faces, Klaus hands Freya a 100 dollar bill and claps.
"you have a crush on my little brother." he says standing up "FREYA" I whine "it was between us." I mumble "no shade here y/n, i expected you to like Elijah that's all." Klaus smirks, impressed.
"who to like elijah?" Kol says adjusting his wristwatch walking past his sister who still sat on the chair "uh. nothing" i say cutting anyone off.
The wind starts rustling and leaves fly over the courtyard, I was a powerful witch but not powerful enough to change the weather.
"god this weather is unpredictable." Kol sighs looking up at the now dark sky and I chuckle "it is isn't it." I say clearing my throat looking to Klaus and Freya who were both looking at each other.
"Kol, go somewhere else for a minute." Klaus demands Kol who rolls his eyes walking off to his room, my heart beat slows down as does the wind and the sky lightens "it is true." he says fascinated at me.
"it was shocking to me when it happened a few days ago, then she swore to never come back here." Freya laughs "I never said never, Kol you can come back down." I yell to Kol "im being bossed around in this house." he rolls his eyes exiting his room.
"y/n mind running an errand with me, Elijah is out and I need to find him a birthday present." Kol asks me "I do mind, can't you go yourself you're 100 years old." I say to him "i don't need protecting, darling." he raised an eyebrow "i know it's just-" "i think you should go" Freya says.
"ye no i agree with Freya, Y/n go with my brother." Klaus says as I raise a hand connecting my eyes to Klaus, snapping one of his limbs and he yells in pain "force me to do something again, i'll tear your eyes out." I say angrily to them both.
"come on darling." Kol says grabbing my hand as I keep my composure.
"right, you know my brother enough to know what he likes." Kol says as we get in the car, the wind starts up again but this time with rain "god this weather is just as awful as this ghastly family." he huffs turning the car on.
"he likes suits." I mumble "speak up" Kol says "your brother likes suits obviously." I say in a clear soft spoken voice and Kol nods yes but no doubt he already has the most expensive tux of the decade." Kol huffs frustratedly.
"you know i've figured what you like, more than my brother." Kol says taking a left turn towards the town centre.
"what do i like then, stalker?" I ask him, watching as he grips the wheel with one hand placing his other behind the head of my chair.
"you like chocolate ice cream, strawberry if it was real ice cream." he pauses checking for pedestrians before turning again "your very simple, you like minimalistic things." he says impressed with himself.
"you like being cocky?" I ask him, although I didn't mind him being cocky, given that it runs in the family but it looked best on him.
"i also know of your 'stupid' crush towards a person, so you call it stupid. hence your distance for what a week?" he asks "w-what." I stutter "stop the wind, y/n." he says.
I give him a confused look "it took me a few weeks." he chuckles again in a cocky tone "right like i can stop the weather, Kol." I roll my eyes as he grabs my hand, the other still on the wheel.
The wind increases, my heart beat also increases "right well proves my theory." he chuckles "let go" I mumble shaking my hand out of his grip as he laughs at me "I knew it" he says victoriously as the wind slows down a bit.
"you don't hate me?" I ask him "course not darling, just expected you to like well mannered men." he scoffed and I roll my eyes.
"now stop it seriously we need to get out of the car." he says giving me a serious look.

Hi there! I just wanted to say that your writing is excellent and I hoped to make a request. Could you do one where Kol gets upset after his mom (I hate her) tries to kill him so he shows up at the reader's house because he doesn't know where else to go. The reader tries to comfort him with hugs and cuddles but he's just really upset and distracted and he accidentally bites her. The reader is scared and not sure what to think but after feeding on her for a bit, he just kinda passes out. Then when he wakes up and sees what he did hes just horrified. Whatever you want after that.
Ik it's kinda specific but it's okay if you can't do it. Thank you!!!

The one that i never got
I was already in bed hidden beneath the warmth of a pile of blankets when a loud knock sounded from downstairs. I shut my eyes and silently prayed the person would leave but another pounding at the door followed shortly after
“y/n! darling? are you home…? i need to see you” oh it was Kol. I quickly shoved the duvet away and padded my way down the stairs. I hurriedly undid the locks and opened the door to see a teary eyed Kol, my heart broke a little at the lost look he had on his face.
“what happened?” i asked quietly as i took his hand and lead him inside in the warm. I locked the door back up before turning back to him
“my mother…she didn’t actually want to be a family…she just uh she wanted to kill is…so um” his eyes wondered around the room aimlessly until i pulled him in for a hug, i wrapped my arms around his torso tightly and lightly kissed his shoulder as he let his hands hold me against him
“i hate her” he whispered
“i know” i replied while rubbing his back
“she’s a horrible mother and i wish she would just stay dead” his words became more broken each time as a sob left his lips
“where is she now?” i asked hesitantly
“Nik…he killed her i think…again hah um yea but who knows if she’ll actually stay in the ground or just pop up to murder her family” his voice was falling into a sarcastic tone as he laughed through his struggle
“maybe it’d be best for you to get some rest? i know that vampires don’t sleep much but…” he squeezed me a little tighter before pulling away
“yeah okay, lets get to sleep” we silently went up the stairs and climbed into bed, i pulled him closer to me as he cried and ran my fingers through his soft hair
“she thinks i’m a monster” he weeped.
Just before i could tell him how wrong she was i felt sharp teeth at my throat
“if she thinks i’m a monster…” his voice was so quiet and so dark compared to normal before a sharp pain stabbed into my neck making me scream for him to stop
“KOL! KOL STOP IT! KOL” i was thrashing against him but he was now on-top of me and managed to hold my flying arms and legs down with his own, it occurred to me that my struggle was a game to him as he growled into my neck while i grew weaker by the second.
“no no no no” i chanted quietly as my eyes began to droop, everything in me felt heavy as i fell into an unknown darkness.
———————————————————————
(third person)
Kol woke the next morning feeling much better than the night before. Chances were his mother would probably still be dead and he could have a few days to relax. He stretched out a little before turning around to see his love. What he found however would haunt him for an eternity.
She was deathly pale, deep red blood coated her from her jaw to her shoulders and her hands were also covered. He couldn’t concentrate enough to find a heartbeat, he could only hear his own as he quickly grabbed her in his arms, when he looked at his own, he was even more horrified.
“oh my god” he breathed seeing the dry blood all over his hands he glanced back at his girl, bruises all over her arms and legs, his own hand prints pressed into her soft skin. Only her face still held an element of peace and yet that sight was not at all comforting, she wasn’t in pain, she couldn’t feel it, she was going to die or was already dead.
Hurriedly he tore into his own wrist before shoving it against her parted lips, he tilted her head back so the metallic liquid would slide down her throat and into her system
“please darling, just drink and i’ll make it all better, i’ll fix everything i swear”
but she did not wake
he waited with her now cold body held in his blood stained arms, his sobs did not cease when his siblings got a witch to find him, when they dragged her body from his grip and fought with him to leave, not when your family held your funeral and he had to sit amongst people who adored you and pretend that he was not the reason for you absence
an almost silent “i love you” was uttered as he planted a white rose on your coffin “you are my always and forever, the one that i never got”

Hi!
If you feeling like it, could you do a one shot in which Klaus and Reader have been together for a long time and love each other but when they move to Mystic falls Reader can see and feel Klaus distancing himself and crushing over Caroline?
Like he would start spending more time trying to get her attention and watching her, while putting his missions and schemes over Reader. She sees that his sketches are less about her and more about Caroline and she feels alone, heartbroken and ignored. Then she hears Klaus tell Caroline the same confession that he told her when they got together ("He is your first love, but I intend to be your last") and she runs away to collect her things from their shared room.
But what she doesn't know is that it was all a plan to make Caroline fall in love with him and tell him the plan of the Salvatore. At the end Klaus finds put about her missing and search for her but she is scared that now that he doesn't love her anymore he will hurt her to keep her mouth shut about the secrets that she knew so she goes on the run.
The ending is up to you ofc. Thank you!!
I'm not the only one
Pairing: Klaus Mikaelson x reader Summary: You and Klaus have been together for ages. You swore to each other Always and Forever. You could always rely on him, and the original hybrid trusted you with his plans. But how long can you turn a blind eye to his sudden interest in a certain Caroline Forbes? And after hearing him say the same words to her that practically started your relationship, you realize that maybe after all, you're not the only one for him. Warning(s): angst - because I'm having a terrible week and I needed to get rid of these negative feelings, Klaus cheating (kiss), broken reader, little comfort at the end because I don't like sad endings. Nonsense from me: I hope you like it! World count: 6,2k
Tumblr media
You and me, we made a vow For better or for worse
You and Klaus have been together for a very long time. You stood by him as you built the might of New Orleans together—a safe home, a haven—until Mikael showed up and sent everything to hell. Despite this defeat, you were still with your beloved, escaping with him from his cruel father and trying to defeat Mikael once and for all. His siblings were like family to you (even though you never formalized your relationship). You've been Klaus' fiancée—kind of part of the family—but he could still get rid of you if he wanted at any time.
But you tried not to worry too much about it, knowing full well that Klaus didn't want to expose you to the wrath of his enemies and the special attention of his father if he married you. After all, you were still an ordinary vampire. A simple heart rip, a werewolf bite, or a wooden stake through your heart could kill you very easily and quickly.
You didn't need to make it official. His love and devotion were enough for you.
But since your arrival in Mystic Falls and (finally) breaking his curse, your relationship has started to sour.
Things between you two changed when certain Caroline Forbes showed up on the picture...
I can't believe you let me down But the proof is in the way it hurts For months on end I've had my doubts
One day Klaus' full devotion and love for you shone bright and uninterrupted from him, and the next day he completely ignored you, spending the entire fucking prom with that blonde bitch. The merciful, compassionate look from Esther and the Mystic Falls gang was the worst feeling you've felt in 300 years.
But you tried to justify his behavior when it turned out that his mother really wanted to kill them all. You thought he had distanced himself from you and turned his attention to this young vampire to protect you from Esther.
However, a few months later, when he completely lost interest in you, he stopped texting you during the day, and you fell asleep before he came home and got up when the bed was cold on his side (sometimes you even doubted he was coming home at all), and worst of all, his sketches were all about sweet Caroline—you began to have serious suspicions that he was doing all of this for "your own good".
Sarcasm completely intentional.
Of course, Elijah tried to explain away his brother's attitude, but you knew better. If Nik really cared about you, he'd be communicating with you about more than just the magic cure for vampirism that he had to get for Elena.
Even that fucking doppelgänger and her bodyguards talked to him more than you, his (probably now in name only) fiancée.
Denying every tear I wish this would be over now But I know that I still need you here
You sighed, folded your napkin, wiped your tears, and got up from the table. You blew out the red candles that had practically burned out and left the dining room, leaving the 300-year "engagement" dinner with Klaus on the table.
You went to the kitchen and took out of the fridge a bottle of wine specially chilled and stored for this occasion, from the exact year you met. You slowly walked up the stairs. The sound of your high heels hitting the marble steps echoed through the empty mansion, mocking your loneliness.
As you walked down the hall towards your room, you noticed that the light was on in one of the bedrooms. Without thinking, you entered the room of your favorite original and leaned against the door frame, watching with amusement his attempts to use the phone.
"Fuck. Stupid mortal device." at one point, the man turned on the flashlight, blinding himself. "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL?!" I burst out laughing as Kol fell off his bed. He looked around the room in surprise, blushing with embarrassment when he saw that I had witnessed this compromising event.
"Kol Mikaelson. The terror of the living and the dead, the deadliest and most dangerous of the original vampires, was defeated by the flashlight on his phone. Rebekah won't believe me when I tell her."
"Very funny. Shouldn't you be fucking my brother today on your anniversary instead of standing here and torturing me?" he muttered, getting up off the floor and brushing off the invisible dust.
"Apparently he has other priorities. Should I be worried you wanted to eavesdrop on us?"
"Don't flatter my brother. We both know I can hear better sounds from you if you'll let me. Besides, I'm not a weirdo. I was about to curl up the moment I heard the first sound of danger."
"Every day, I consider your offer more and more. And I seriously doubt Klaus will hold a grudge against you after that."
"Wait a minute. 200 years ago, you said you'd rather be celibate than sleep with me, and Nik threatened to castrate me with a rusty shovel. Is it that bad between you two?"
"Come on. It's great! That's why, on one of our most important anniversaries, I'm standing in his brother's room." you groaned, trying to hold back the tears welling up in your eyes.
You were so weak and naive, still only wanting the company of a man who hadn't said a single word to you in months that wasn't related to his plans.
"Okay, I understand... wait. What's this? Can I see tears? All right, that's enough of this. Get your ass up and let's go drink and dance. Now that you've dressed up, we'll make good use of your short, sexy dress. I heard those pups from the Mystic Falls gang are having a party at the Salvatore's house. Let's make a mess, darling!" he tried to comfort me by pulling me into a tight hug and evoking any sort of giggle.
"That's why you're my favorite. But don't even think you'll get a sip of this wine." I said with a half smile, trying to somehow appreciate his attempt to cheer me up.
"Don't blame me. I had to try, darling. Now go fix that mesmerizing makeup, and I'll see you downstairs."
You say I'm crazy Cause you don't think I know what you've done But when you call me baby I know I'm not the only one
Salvatores may have been a pain in the ass, but they knew how to throw a party. It was child's play for Kol and you to get inside and empty their liquor cellar. You laughed and joked until another couple showed up at our hideout.
You sat hidden among the barrels so that you had a view of the stairs leading up. At their feet stood probably your least favorite couple...
"Why did you just let Tyler come to the party? You're not going to tell me there's a heart in that empty space near your lungs?"
"Calm down, love. It's your birthday. You shouldn't be nervous."
"I get nervous every time I see you. Now. Tell me, what am I supposed to do to repay you for bringing my boyfriend here and letting him stay at my party? Because I don't believe you did all this out of the kindness of your heart and you don't want anything in return." she said suspiciously, crossing her arms over her chest.
"I want nothing, love. Consider it a birthday present." he replied nonchalantly, shoving his hands into the pockets of his suit pants. He didn't even wear those smart suits on your birthday; he hated them. You don't know if it was because he felt like a second Elijah in them or because he was used to his henley. Apparently, SHE was worth sacrificing a bit of his comfort.
"You already gave one to me. Actually, a lot. What's all this Klaus for? Why do you try so hard for me and make sure I have a wonderful day, only to bring my boyfriend back at the end of it?"
"He's your first love. I intend to be your last. However long it takes. Until then, let me spoil yourself. Seduce in all the ways you ever dream of." you felt as if the whole world stopped for a moment around you as you heard the same enchanting words coming out of his mouth to her that he had used to convince you to run away with him 300 years ago.
"Seriously? This goes against all the rules of flirting, without even mentioning that you already have a girlfriend."
"Y/N? She's only my minion. A person from dirty work. She imagines something more about us, and that's it. I never loved her. Not the way I care about you, Caroline." sure, go ahead. Go all out. Kiss and fuck against this wall. Anyway, your heart is already dead.
"Klaus I..." the blonde shook her head, staring in shock at the hybrid with a small disbelieving smile. Klaus walked over to her, taking her hands in his. Their mouths were centimeters away from joining in a kiss right in front of your eyes.
"Care! Where are you?! It's time for cake!" the screams of her friends saved you from watching the love of your life kiss someone else, adore someone else, and give his heart, his lips, his eyes, and his touch to someone else.
You could only watch silently as Klaus offered her his arm and helped her up the stairs. Always a gentleman… at least when he wanted something or expected something in return.
There was dead silence in the room. You could feel Kol's sympathetic gaze burning a hole in the left side of your head.
"Y/N, he didn't mean..."
"It's okay, Kol. I've got ears, a brain, and pretty good eyes. I know what I saw and heard. I think that's enough fun for today. Thanks for trying to make me feel better." you cut him off, seeing panic instead of surprise in his eyes. So his siblings knew everything... that's probably why Rebekah left without saying a word.
"No! Y/N, wait! You don't..." before he could say anything else, I ran out of there at vampire speed.
"Shit. Klaus is going to kill me." a man said to himself after she disappeared.
You've been so unavailable Now sadly I know why Your heart is unobtainable Even though Lord knows you kept mine
Honestly, you should have known it would end like this. From the beginning of your relationship, a swarm of girls followed him wherever he went. But then he only saw you.
"I don't like it here." I snorted, eyeing the werewolf bitch who had been fawning over Nik since the party started.
"Here or her, love? It may seem that one letter means nothing, but as you hear, it changes the whole meaning of your statement." the original snorted, throwing his arm around my shoulders and pulling me into his possessive grip.
"None of them. Did we really have to throw this ball?" I complained, catching the lady werewolf leader's eye and kissing Mikaelson greedily to "mark my territory in front of that bitch." I pulled away from him as a smug smirk began to form on his lips, interfering with my ministry. "Why are you smiling like that? What's so funny?"
"For the first time, I see jealousy on your beautiful face. I have to admit it's a nice change."
"Please, as if half the women in the world aren't already trying to take you away from me. One puny wolf cub poses no threat to me, much less arouses my jealousy."
"Of course. So kiss me again. Just in case she somehow didn't get the message."
I snorted, pulling him to me by his necklace, and biting his lips to the blood. I licked my mouth as I climbed onto his lap and straddled him. I ran my hand through his hair and started leaving small kisses along the column of his throat.
"We're in public, love." he purred, wrapping one hand around my neck and pressing down gently. I growled, biting into his skin and taking a few gulps of his blood.
"And when exactly did it ever bother you?" I whispered, continuing to mark his skin. I smiled mischievously as I saw shivers run through his body.
The moment I felt his own fangs glide against my neck, I moved away from him at arm's length. I smiled victoriously at his annoyed look.
"What happened with being in public thing, love?"
"Who could resist such tempting beauty and strength? Definitely not me." he growled with a smirk, grabbing me bride-style and moving us with vampire speed to his room, specifically his bed.
"Elijah will be furious with us if we disappear again. Your werewolf friend is unlikely to be pleased with the lack of your wonderful presence either." I moaned as he started tearing off my dress.
"It's a good thing I don't care about any of them now. I'm yours. Only yours, my queen. And you're mine. And I will be proving it to you for always and forever."
You should know that one day you will fall from his pedestal.
You say I'm crazy Cause you don't think I know what you've done But when you call me baby I know I'm not the only one
I felt sad, to say the least. And a bit lonely.
For a month, Nik had become... colder, more distant. It started with us no longer having dinner together. Stupid observation, I know, but I couldn't help but miss his presence. He disappeared somewhere, fighting with the Salvatore brothers for Elena's blood. I understood his need to create a hyrbyds—someone like himself, his own pack that wouldn't leave him—but that didn't mean he had to do it alone. I could help him. I always helped him. However, my role began to be limited to guarding his hybrids and his sister.
Then he stopped writing to me. He could go all day without speaking to me, which was starting to worry me, so like any normal person, I decided to talk to my partner about my concerns. I just forgot that there is no such thing as normal between me and Niklaus.
"Love, don't you know how many things I have on my mind? If I had to write to you every second of every day, I would never have achieved what I have. Don't be a child who demands constant attention, you know that I love only you. There is no other woman whose arms I would rather return to every night."
I felt stupid. Like an oversensitive madwoman who needs to be in contact with her beloved 24 hours a day. But over time, he even stopped coming back to our bed, and if he did, it was so late that I had already fallen asleep. Sometimes the smell of his perfume left on his pillow was the only contact I had with him during the day.
So I made him a real jealousy scene. But that only made me feel worse than before.
"Y/N. My light and life, you know how much I care about you. If it were up to me, I would never leave our room or your delightful presence. But you can't reproach me or make unreasonable scenes of jealousy when all I'm doing is keeping our family safe. I thought you could go a few hours without my wonderful presence? Besides, do you think that when I'm away from you, I don't spend a second thinking about you? You are with me, in my mind and memory, always and everywhere, but I cannot let myself be distracted and forget about my main goals to succumb to your captivating beauty. I'd be lost in you forever, forgetting what I have to do."
He could make me feel real remorse, but subconsciously I felt that something was wrong with all of this and that he wasn't telling me the whole truth.
He adopted a different tactic. He gave me some of his responsibilities, which kept me busy for half the day. Not that I missed him any less.
My suspicions only increased after I discovered a large number of sketches by another woman, the same woman he'd invited to his mother's damn ball, in his art room. However, I decided not to do anything about it and wait for the situation to develop.
I was tired of hearing that I was crazy.
I have loved you for many years Maybe I am just not enough You've made me realise my deepest fear By lying and tearing us up
Maybe you've been crazy and still madly in love with a man who's clearly been using your love and sincere, blind devotion all this time, but that doesn't mean you'll watch him slowly give himself to another just to stay with him just a little longer. You still had some dignity.
Besides, you had to leave. You saw what Klaus did to people he no longer needed. If he was capable of disposing, compelling, and torturing his minions, what will he do with you, the woman who knows all his family's darkest secrets, when he no longer needs you?
You had to run as fast and as far as possible.
If you're lucky enough, you'll cross the US border before he realizes you're gone. Maybe you'd even join Katherine? She was always sending silly postcards and postcards from pretty places to encourage you to run away from the hybrid. Now seemed like the right time to join her on the journey of a lifetime.
Despite your rational, cool approach to the situation, you couldn't stop your stupid tears from spilling out of your eyes as you packed all the necessities into your suitcase.
It took you an hour to recover from seeing a 19th-century photo of you and the Mikaelson family. You did it in New Orleans, right after you took over the city completely. Marcel stood with a big smile, embracing an equally cheerful Rebekah from behind. Elijah was holding Kol by the shirt so he wouldn't accidentally pounce on the human-photographer, and you and Klaus stood side by side, staring at each other with so much love in their eyes. Your big diamond glistened on your finger under the light of the lamps.
When did it all go to hell?
You stuffed the photo frame into your suitcase and slammed it shut with a bang.
Before you went downstairs, you stopped by his art room for a moment. With a sigh, you took one last look at all the old portraits he had painted, and after finding a piece of paper, you left a message on his latest sketchbook dedicated to HER.
It was a fun few centuries together, Klaus. But I knew I would never be the only one for you. Love and hate, Y/N P.S. You can give her that.
The ring you've worn for 300 years laughed at you, glowing in the glow of the street lamps as you left him on the note.
Without thinking twice, you ran out of the house and loaded your bags into your car. You cast one last longing glance at the house before getting into your car.
You angrily wiped away the tears that kept you from seeing the road ahead.
You knew only one quick and effective way to get rid of your unwanted, desperate emotions, but would you be able to do it? Stop feeling anything?
On the other hand, what was stopping you from doing it? You had nothing and no one in this world anyway.
You say I'm crazy Cause you don't think I know what you've done But when you call me baby I know I'm not the only one
"Is he cheating on me?" Rebekah spat out the wine she was drinking in shock and started coughing. After she had relatively recovered, she started staring at me like I was crazy.
"What?"
"Your brother. Is he cheating on me?" I repeated, sipping my own wine and staring blankly at the fireplace.
"Nik?"
"No, Elijah." I snorted, tucking my legs under me.
"Are you crazy? If one thing is certain about my brother, it's that he loves you madly. What in the bloody hell made you think otherwise?"
"Let's see… he avoids me, spends his days with God knows where and with whom, and hired me as a personal babysitter for his hyrbyds and a searcher for new werewolf packs, of course, from a distance, because even though he treats this damn house like a hotel, he makes me stay in it like a ghost in a fucking crypt! I'm sick of this, Bekah. I know he's hiding something from me. Okay, he may have secrets and plans of his own that he doesn't want to tell anyone; he has done it before. But this time, he's crossing the fucking line." in my frantic speech, I didn't notice that I was swinging my glass from side to side, spilling its contents onto the couch. I sighed, not really caring. It's not like Klaus would notice. He would have to stay here for more than an hour first.
I staggered to the bar to pour myself another glass, but Bekah's gentle grip on mine stopped me.
"Maybe we've had enough of this wine, eh?" she asked thoughtfully, taking the glass from me and placing it on the bar. Seeing tears welling up in my eyes, she pulled me close to her and started stroking my hair reassuringly.
"What have I done wrong, Bekah? Why doesn't he love me anymore?" I asked, sobbing, letting myself let out all of the stress and helplessness I'd felt for months.
"Shh… it's okay, darling. Everything will come back to normal, trust me. Just be a little more patient."
"Rebekah! Y/N! There is a way to make Elena human again. We can have our hybrids back! Of course, we will have to modify our plans a bit. We can't have a repeat of what happened last time. Caroline told me… What happened, love? Are you crying?"
Klaus suddenly came back and walked over to where the two of us were cuddling. He looked at me clearly distressed, but he didn't seem to notice that my sobs only increased after hearing HER name fall out of his lips.
"It's nothing, Nik. We got a little drunk, and now we're more sensitive, aren't we?" Rebekah thought on the spur of the moment, stepping away from me. I just nodded my head, falling into the hybrid's open arms.
Ironically, the man who had driven me to this state was the only one who could comfort me in any way.
"I got you, love. Let's take you to our bedroom."
He took me in his arms, slowly carrying me upstairs. Along the way, I couldn't help but wonder if I was the only one he called "love"?
I know I'm not the only one I know I'm not the only one I know I'm not the only one
Third-person's POV
"KOL! How could you take her there?!" the hybrid screamed, throwing another bottle of scotch he found in sight at his brother.
Klaus found a note left by Y/N. So was their empty bedroom, stripped of her belongings. The lingering scent of her perfume was the only trace that she had once lived here.
And he was furious with his brother. The dagger and white oak powder were safely tucked away in his pocket, and he was just waiting for the right moment to punish his brother. He took you right into the middle of his plan to seduce Caroline to get the information he needed. Kol sat her in the goddamn, fucking front row so she could watch him fawning over another woman while Klaus was only thinking of getting this whole Mytsic Falls fiasco over as soon as possible and holed up somewhere with his love for a well-deserved holiday.
Now he couldn't.
She disappeared.
And he had an insatiable lust for murder. His brother will be in that bloody coffin, where he belongs, by tomorrow.
"I wasn't the one of us who came up with the brilliant plan of chasing some blonde while your girlfriend was pining for you, you criminal genius!!" Kol shouted back and threw one of his brother's paintings at him.
If he was going to die today, at least he would defend himself to the last breath. In fact, he knew the worst thing his brother would do was put him in that fucking coffin. Unless he can survive long enough until Elijah returns.
"You know perfectly well that I did it to protect her! She is an ordinary vampire; any stick can kill her! Thanks to my false interest in Caroline, I killed two birds with one stone. I kept Y/N safe and could extract the information I needed. But she wasn't supposed to know anything until we left together! AND BECAUSE OF YOU, SHE'S NOT HERE!" he growled, attacking his brother. He lunged at the younger vampire, pinning him to the ground and trying to pierce his heart with his dagger. Kol, however, tried to defend himself and did his best to keep the blade away from his chest.
"NO! Nik, wait! I can help you find her; we'll take her back to you; just don't do this to me! I can't come back to this coffin, please, brother!"
"You've done enough."
"NIKLAUS!" Kol breathed a sigh of relief as Elijah pushed their brother off him and snatched the dagger from his hand. "You have to calm down."
"Don't tell me what to do, and don't you dare take sides with this traitor! He brought Y/N there on purpose to destroy our relationship! You've always flirted with her, but if you think that's how you'll finally have her, you're sorely mistaken, brother." he spat out the last word with such revulsion that Kol flinched, beginning to feel a real fear of Klaus. "I'm going to burn this damn world to get to her and disprove all the lies you told her about my action."
"I never wanted her for me, she's like a sister to me." he choked out, trying to reason with the maddened hybrid. He had never seen him like this before. He must have really cared about Y/N if he was willing to tear the world apart just to find her.
"It is because of you and your actions that Y/N escaped, and now you must face the truth and accept the consequences of your actions, Niklaus. You can't blame Kol for that. Besides, I don't think Y/N approves of you daggering us again."
"So what am I supposed to do now? She ran away from me!"
"Calm down first and hide that ridiculous stake you're hiding behind your back; none of us is your enemy. We will find her. You have my word."
The hybrid growled something under its breath in agreement and left the room, presumably to hide the originals' doomsday weapons once again. Kol stood next to Elijah, staring at their brother's retreating figure.
"How the hell did he get it?"
"I don't know, but be glad I came on time. When it comes to Y/N, he's capable of doing a lot of things." he muttered, following the footsteps of the hybrid.
"Yes, but he wouldn't kill me, would he? Elijah?! Would he?!" panicked, he ran after his older brother, deciding that until they found Y/N he would stick to his suit jacket like his life depended on it. Which was actually true.
And I know, and I know, and I know, And I know, and I know, and I know, know I know I'm not the only one
Second-person's POV
You've been hiding with Katherine in her family home in Bulgaria for a month now. You honestly doubted it was safe to live in a place so important to her, with Klaus' minions and debtors looking for you all over the world, but you didn't question her methods. After all, she had been running from him for 500 years. She was more skilled than you.
In addition to visiting her hometown, going to various human events, and sunbathing in her garden, you spent your days reflecting on your relationship with Nik. The original left you at least 20 voicemails every day. You didn't complain about the lack of contact between the two of you. Sometimes you listened to part of them, sometimes they ended up in the trash, and sometimes Katherine took your phone so you wouldn't even think about picking up the call from your ex-lover.
But they all said the same thing: "I'll find you."
The vampire tried everything in her power to make you forget about him. However, dating, flirting, and sex escapades with people as drunk as you have not yielded any results. Besides, it ended when the news reported that one of these unfortunates had died with his head detached from the rest of his body. You two still have no idea how Klaus found out (because it was clearly his job), but you didn't want innocent people on your conscience, so Katherine stopped looking for new guys for you.
However, this particular incident was not repeated. None of your one-night stands have lost a life except this one. You guessed that Klaus, in his frustration (he must have had a really bloody day or something), sent you this kind of warning. Or maybe Caroline just successfully occupied him with something else, so he stopped threatening you.
You shuddered.
You couldn't think about him being with her like you two used to be. Not yet. Not when Katherine just turned your switch back on.
So instead, you went back to tending your garden. Even before you met Klaus, you had a weakness for growing flowers, exotic shrubs, and plants. Now you have more than enough time and space to get back into your hobby. And Katherine approved of everything you did, as long as it wasn't about Klaus. You could have sworn you'd seen her water some of your plants herself. And you could confidently say that you both love this place.
Your phone buzzed again today. Klaus. This time, instead of a voicemail, he sent you a text.
"Him again? Why don't we just burn this phone, dance around the fire, sing about how much we hate him, and buy you a new phone? Maybe with some handsome, charming man or woman bundled?"
"What if he finally gets tired of chasing after me and leaves me alone? How will I know if I change my number?"
"Very funny. Do you think Caroline will make him a saint?" I froze at those words, pausing before cutting a dead twig. "Fuck. I'm sorry, I didn't want to…"
"No, everything's fine. You're right. I should be able to function normally now and stop tensing up every time I hear one of their names."
"Well, after being with this maniac for 300 years, I believe you may still be experiencing harmful side effects."
"Hold." you threw her your phone. "Do what you want with it. I'm going to change clothes, and we'll have fun in the city. If I remember correctly, there's supposed to be some kind of mask festival there, right? So it's perfect for us."
"And that's the attitude I want to see!"
You smiled as you walked away from her, laughing, towards the house. Who knows? Maybe today you'll find the only one for you.
~•♤♤♤•~
"Hurry up! I want cotton candy!" you tried to shout over the crowd of people around you and grabbed the reluctant brunette by the hand, dragging her with you.
"You're acting like a child, but you're happy, so I'll forgive you this time."
"Come on. Just admit you like it."
"Yes, my dream was to go to the ferris wheel, ride bumper cars, and eat cotton candy with a 300-year-old vampire wearing a mask that prevented me from breathing or eating a normal human meal."
"See, I told you you'd like it." the brunette rolled her eyes, pulled your arm into a half-hug, and smirked mischievously. Oh no. Yoy knew that look.
"The hot brunette on the 4th has been staring at you ever since you got in that stupid line. Go and have fun, or I'll eat all your cotton candy."
"But Kath..."
"Don't "Kath" me! Get your ass over to him or I'll push you myself!"
"Terrorist." you snorted, taking her arm off you and walking over to the man who was staring at me.
If you were human, you wouldn't have approached him. He was at least... strange. He was standing in the shadows, leaning against one of the least frequented stalls. His mask covered his entire face, unlike the others; even part of his hair was hidden from people's eyes. Besides, Katherine must have gone blind in her old age. His hair wasn't brown; it was blonde. Dark blonde...
You shuddered. It couldn't be Niklaus. You must have been paranoid. If he had found us, he would have hit you without thinking. He wouldn't be lurking in the shadows for you; he'd get rid of the problem right away. You weren't naive; you knew too much for him to let you live.
But you couldn't shake the feeling of something familiar as you looked at the stranger.
"Hi, I'm Y/N. You have a very nice disguise." you smiled and extend your hand in greeting.
The stranger took your hand and put it to the golden metal mouth carved into his mask. Without knowing why, you shivered with excitement. You felt so weird. Like you've done something like this before.
And then that single, most important memory in your whole life reminded you why you should run away from a stranger as fast as you can.
You've already met him. At a masquerade ball, at your cousin's estate, the ones fucking 300 years ago wore the same fucking mask.
It was Klaus.
You were about to yank your hand out of his grip, but he pulled you closer, turning your back to his strong chest. He took three steps back, completely drowning both of you in the dark. He dropped his mask, pressed his hand over your mouth, preventing you from uttering a scream, and rested his chin against your shoulder, breathing deeply as he buried his nose in your hair.
Katherine will never find your dead body.
Your heart beats faster with each silent second.
"Hello, love. I think I finally caught you." under other circumstances, you would quiver with excitement as he whispered those words lewdly in your ear. Now that his love was located elsewhere, you were afraid of what he might come up with for you.
You trembled in his arms, waiting for his next step.
Instead of some sudden, no doubt painful move on his part that you were expecting, the original took off his coat and put it on you, making sure all the buttons were buttoned up.
You couldn't do anything but watch him in shock. You're sure if you weren't so tense and stressed, your jaw would have dropped to the floor instead of clenching nervously in anticipation.
"Let's take you home, love. We all missed you." he grabbed your hand, trying to lead you out of the festival.
"Won't you kill me?" the hybrid froze, slowly turning to face you. He cupped your cheek gently with his hand and looked at you with pure love and adoration in his eyes that more or less masked the sadness behind them.
What the fuck?
"The only person I want to kill right now is my little brother. You, love, are all that matters to me."
He cupped your lips in a passionate, longing kiss, entwining his hands in your hair. You moaned, giving in to the pleasant feeling of being close to his body. At one point, fireworks exploded around you, causing you to shudder slightly in surprise. However, Nik continued kissing you as if his life depended on it, with a small, happy smirk.
Wait a minute…
Realization has passed through your mind.
He didn't want to kill you.
He was looking for you because he missed you.
He loved you.
So he and that blonde monkey…
You pulled away from him, slapping him across the cheek. He sighed, rubbing the slightly sore spot.
"I admit, I deserved it…"
"What the hell were you doing with Caroline?! You think you can play with her behind my back and come for me after a month like nothing ever happened?! You're in so much fucking trouble… why the hell are you smiling?!" you shouted as you saw a satisfied, blissful, even grateful smile form on his face.
He must have gone completely insane this month without you.
"You have no idea…" he paused, reaching for you to pull out a small velvet box from the pocket of his coat and open it to reveal your ring. "How much I missed you."
"Don't even think that after all this, I'm just jumping into your arms. You must have been up to some stupid plan of yours, AGAIN, that involved that bitch and instead of telling me anything, AGAIN, you decided to do everything yourself and got so involved that you forgot about everything else, AGAIN?"
"Maybe?" he glanced at you, embarrassed, fiddling nervously with the ring box in his hands.
"God. You're lucky, I love you." you growled, taking the ring from him and putting it on your finger, then pulling him to yourself and kissing him hungrily, trying to make up for those lost (BECAUSE OF HIM) weeks.
He moaned into your lips, willingly committing to return your kiss. You pulled away from him before it turned into a full, hot makeup session between the two of you.
"I have to go back to Katherine's for my stuff. I'll text you when and where we'll meet."
"I will go with you…"
"NO! I will not expose Katherine to you. I'd been waiting for you for months in a cold, empty bed. I believe that you will last a few hours without me."
"Hours?"
"You wanna change it into days?" you asked, raising an eyebrow in challenge.
"No. I'll wait for you." he replied quickly, not wanting to part with you for longer than it necessary.
"Perfect." you gave him a quick goodbye kiss and ran back to Katherine.
Well, maybe you were the only one after all. - you thought with a smile, fiddling with the ring that was adorning your finger again.

Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
I hummed to myself as I walked through the door of the bedroom I shared with my boyfriend, Klaus Mikaelson. I'd just finished baking a BUNCH of cookies with Hayley and Rebekah, and it had been a much-needed stress relief, especially after all the chaos of New Orleans lately. Besides, Hayley had been craving cookies in her heavily-pregnant state, so who were we to deny her?
I headed into the bedroom fully intending to change my clothes and go run some errands, but I stopped short at the sight of Nik staring out the window with his hands behind his back, a grim expression on his face.
"Uh oh," I said, gently closing the door behind me before slowly crossing the room towards my boyfriend. "I recognize that expression. You've got your brooding face on."
Normally, the teasing would've at least made Nik give me a half-smile or an eyeroll. But this time he didn't even glance back at me from his vigil.
"Nik? What's wrong?" I asked, finally reaching him and putting a hand on his shoulder as soon as I did. "C'mon, you can talk to me."
He sighed heavily before shaking his head and plastering a smile to his face. For those who didn't know him very well, it probably would've been quite convincing. But I knew him better than almost anyone else, and it didn't fool me for a second.
"Nothing," he said, trying to maintain the ruse all the same. "Some trouble with the witches that I'm deciding how to deal with, but nothing out of the ordinary."
With that, he tried to step around me and head towards the door. I frowned and caught his arm, gently pulling him to a stop. He turned to look at me, the fake-unbothered expression still on his face as he raised his eyebrows at me.
"Nik. I know you way better than that. I can tell something's wrong, so please, talk to me," I said. Nik hesitated, so I held his stare, trying to communicate nothing but openness and acceptance. He'd lived so much of his life alone, and carrying secrets without trusting anyone, that I knew he was still getting used to letting someone else in. We'd been making incredible progress lately, though, and I hoped we could keep that momentum up.
"I suppose..." he said, starting softly as he turned away from me and went to put on some loud music to defeat anyone trying to listen in. "I'm starting to doubt whether or not I will make for a very good father."
He stayed over by the stereo as he admitted it, fiddling with the knobs and not looking at me. I didn't want to spook him off of the conversation, so I sat down on our bed and watched him.
"What makes you say that?" I asked.
He shifted around on his feet, and it was a few minutes before he finally answered. He still didn't look at me as he spoke, either.
"Well, just look at the example set by my father," he spat the word father, and I couldn't help frowning a bit at the thought of Mikael, too. "I've never had a stable parent. I don't want to be like them, but they're all I've ever known. I'm... afraid... of turning into them."
I chewed the inside of my lip, thinking over my next words carefully. After a second, I stood, and crossed the room to Nik. He still didn't look at me, but I put my hands on his shoulders and saw some of the tension ease out of them all the same.
"Nik... you're already doing better than both of them combined by trying to protect Hope at all," I started. He huffed a small laugh, and I continued. "Besides, Nik, you've been taking care of the rest of your family for years. I mean sure, a child is probably going to be a little different, but... even against your parents specifically, you were the person standing up and protecting your family, above all else."
Nik sighed and leaned back towards me, and I wasted no time wrapping my arms around his stomach. I held him tight to me, resting my head against his shoulder and trying to communicate just how loved he really was.
"What if it's not enough?" he finally sighed. "What if, no matter how hard I try, I give her a life of pain and trauma like my parents gave me?"
My heart cracked at the words. Nik had quite literally been through hell, often at the hands of his parents, and I wished every day there was something I could do to take away his pain. Instead, however, I just spoke the words that came to mind and hoped they might help.
"Niky, I know you may not feel this way, but I have nothing but absolute confidence that you're going to be a great dad." He started to scoff and brush me off, but I held tight and kept going. He needed to hear this, even if he wouldn't let himself completely believe it. "Babe, you saved me when I first turned into a vampire. Do you remember?"
He hummed noncommittally and kept staring at the floor, so I moved (still hugging him tight around the middle) until I could look him in the eyes.
"I was devastated. I was terrified. I was alone, and I was on the brink of death because this city didn't place nice with newly-turned vampires. And then I met you. And you showed me how to live despite technically being dead, and got me a daylight ring, and dammit, Nik, you saved my life. You were kind, and caring, and wonderful, and I know you don't usually let people see that part of yourself, but I know it exists. And if it can exist for me, someone you'd really just met but happened to have good chemistry with? You're gonna be a million times above and beyond that with your lovely, beautiful, wonderful daughter when she comes into this world."
Nik sighed out a long breath, a tight smile tugging at his mouth even as he tried to fight it off. Slowly, he wrapped his arms around me and held me to him like his life depended on it. I caught a slight shimmer of emotion in his eyes too, and although I knew he wouldn't let the tears fall, I could tell he was closer than normal by the uneven rise and fall of his chest.
"One other thing you should probably know, Nik?" I said, my voice muffled against his chest. He hummed, nestling in a little closer against my hair as he did. "No parent is perfect. You learn as you go. But as long as you're thoughtful in your choices and how you parent, and you're willing to learn and adapt? You're gonna be fine. And damned if that lovely little girl isn't going to grow up surrounded by so many people who love her, with you at the top of the list."
Nik tightened his grip around my waist, and I squeezed him right back. We stayed like that for a few long moments, before he took a deep breath and finally pulled away.
"Have I told you lately how much I adore you?" he asked, staring at me with love in his eyes. I gave him a warm smile in return.
"Yeah, but I could stand to hear it again."
We shared a soft laugh, then Nik took another deep breath and shook off the last of his stress. He straightened again, then fixed me with the devious smile I knew and loved so well.
"So, now that I don't have to pretend to go deal with a witch crisis, and assuming no actual witch crisis has arisen in the minutes we were speaking... it looks like I have a free afternoon."
"Ooo. I have some ideas," I said, giving him a sly smile as I leaned in and put my hand on his bicep. He raised an eyebrow, and I fluttered my eyelashes at him as I responded. "We could have a movie marathon while we eat a ton of the cookies Hayley, Rebekah, and I just baked."
Nik sighed and rolled his eyes, but smiled nonetheless.
"I have to admit, love, that's not exactly the idea I was thinking of. But I suppose it sounds good anyway."
I grinned and dropped the flirty act. "Great! You use your superspeed to steal some cookies, I'll get some good movies together."
Nik raised an eyebrow and gave me a skeptical look. "When you say good movies do you actually mean good movies?"
"Mmm, that depends. I was thinking I'd pick a few of my favorite Disney movies from when I grew up so you'd know things about them in case you wanted to share them with Hope?"
Nik gave me a warm smile, then took a few steps backwards towards the door.
"I'd consider those excellent movies then," he said. "I'll be back with the cookies before you know it."
With that, he disappeared from the room. I smiled to myself as I moved towards the tv, mentally trying to come up with a list of the best movies for us to watch. Despite (and sometimes because of) his concerns, I knew Nik would be an excellent parent. And I absolutely couldn't wait to see how he would grow and change with her as they went through life together.

Dark Obsession
We all knew that the allure of darkness would happen to the most innocent people.
Loud Music rang through The Streets Of The Quarter as two stunning women walk into the Party that was being thrown. Knowing very well that the salvawhore brothers and their doppelganger pet were following them closely.
Blood covering them from head to toe, they may have had a little fun with Tyler and his wolf pack of mutts. The Heretic blonde adored the screams that erupted from Tyler as she made his inside bubble out of him, right before she ripped his head off his miserable shoulders.
Bonnie ripped off head after head of the mutts, listening to their other family members scream and yell for her to stop. Enjoying the blood as it splattered on their faces the warm feeling of the blood running down her melanin skin before she licked the dribble that made its way to the corner of her lip.
Taking Tyler's head and putting it in a duffle back before leaving all of the massacred wolves to rot in the woods. Caroline wanted to send a message to the she-wolf hayley, she could smell the whore all over Tyler for the last two weeks.
Turn out they had been sleeping with each other ever since she had come to visit the wolves. So she dealt with the situation the best that she could, which in this case meant ripping Tyler to shreds. Bonnie had joined the fun after she was turned to cut her line off.
Turns out that you can’t cut off the last living Bennett witch so she turned into a heretic. They both realized they have sacrificed everything just to save little innocent Elena. Becoming a heretic made them become closer than ever as they learned new things about themselves together.
Caroline dressed as a little red riding hood -Slayer of wolves- she looked hot, and her hair was cut into a butterfly cut with bleach and tone. Bonnie dressed as Cat woman -Halle berry’s version- the real diamond claws, the whip, and skin-tight leather.
Both girls became attached at the hip when they both accidentally massacred a whole entire bar out of pure hunger, at first they were ashamed but then they realized that to live their amazingly fabulous lives they need to kill people to survive.
Now as they get to the bar of the party they both drink from the bartender, The salvawhore brothers and their pet came up behind them. Damon cleared his throat to get their attention, but both girls just scoffed and kept drinking until the man's heart stopped beating.
Dropping the body on the ground not bothering to clean the blood from their mouths they both look at the three shocked faces. “Oh I'm sorry..did you want some?” caroline said coyly as she made her and bonnie shots.
Bonnie laughs at their faces as she takes back her shots with caroline, Damon being his normal idiot self speaks up “alright blondie and bonbon funs over, time to go” they both looked at him and scoffed before turning back to a woman that just walked over to the bar.
Bonnie flashes to her as she dilated her eyes “scream for bonnie” the girl nods as bonnie sinks her fangs into her neck draining her of her life. The random girl screams at the top of her lungs making everyone look in bonnie and carolines direction.
Caroline sees everyone looking at them so she stands on the bar taking off her hood “I want you all to witness perfection as my bestie drains the life from a pathetic little human girl” she claps as everyone else mimics her while bonnie drains the girl dry.
The girl stops screaming from the lack of blood in her veins, she takes the girl's life before dropping her on the ground. Bonnie climbs onto the bar with her black YSL heels as she stands beside caroline. “Now which one of you will be my bestie's meal?” saying with a smile as people cower in fear.
One voice sticks out to her the most as his dark silhouette come from the shadows “ill do it love!” caroline beams as she snaps her finger and the people move out of his way. Four men help bonnie and caroline off of the bar towards the sexy British man.
Klaus walks out of the crowd followed by all of the originals behind him, caroline walks up to him “Neck or wrist?” pointing to both arteries that were pumping with his delicious hybrid blood. Caroline could practically taste it already.
Klaus takes off his Grey Jakcet as he moves his shirt from his shoulder“have at it sweetheart” caroline claps before snatching his face down to hers, she kisses him on his raspberry-colored lips, moving down his lips to his jaw then to his neck.
He wraps his arms around her waist as she starts kissing his pulse, sinking her fangs into his neck ever so gently. Tasting his hybrid blood just like their time in the woods and her graduation night. Using her other hand to rub the other side of his neck.
Taking only about half of a pint before pulling away from his neck, licking the skin as it turns a bright red color. His grip on her waist tightens when her bite marks start to burn, as her venom rushes through his body making him growl.
Everyone watched in pure shock some people were turned on by some blonde girl getting to drink from the Original Hybrid Klaus Mikaelson. Caroline pulls away from him as she sees visible sweat leaking down his forehead.
Whispering a spell before biting her lip so it would bleed, she slams her lips into his as he sucks on her bottom lip. Gripping her tighter while drinking vigorously trying to get more of her amazing strawberry blood.
Caroline pulls away when she thinks he's had enough, looking at the side of his neck and seeing the bite healed she looks back at him “all better, big guy” pushing his arms away from her waist as she walks back over to bonnie who had just fed and healed kol.
Grabbing bonnie hand as they intertwined their fingers, looking at the crowd, the originals, and the scooby shack idiots. They smile at them before flashing out of the party leaving everyone shocked and horny.
-At the Mikaelson Home-
Damon, stefan, and Elena had gone with the mikaelson’s back to their home to discuss what went down at the party, to say the least, they were all amazed and shocked. Kol always knew that one day bonnie would come out of her shell and become who she was meant to be.
Klaus always knew that caroline had a dark side that she hid from people well before she was turned into a vampire. Back then she was just an innocent witch who was always putting her life on the line for her “friends” now she was a badass heretic who didn’t care about what people think.
“Well, it sounds to me like they stopped saving or caring about you lot” Rebekah pointed out, not caring about the glares she got from the three mystic freaks. Kol chuckled at his sister's comment, he couldn’t help but notice the look on Elena’s face. It looked like jealousy from his view.
Stefan was just trying to make sure that they didn’t get hurt, he and Elena had broken up months ago because she loved Damon. All he wanted was to have at least one friend that wouldn’t betray him, and those friends were Caroline and Bonnie. Everyone is pulled out of their thoughts when three people bust into the front door.
“Klaus!” Marcel flashed into the living room heaving trying to calm down, klaus looked annoyed at his past protégés sudden invitation. “What can I do for you Marcellus?” He groaned while taking a sip of the bourbon that he was nursing. “I just got word that 12-night walkers and the wolves in the bayou were slaughtered”
Now everyone was staring at the three new people in the room, who would slaughter a whole pack of werewolves and 12 vampires? But then Rebekah and kol burst into laughter making everyone stare at them. “Oh how much I love the new heretics!” Rebekah exclaimed in pure joy at how the girls were so ruthless now.
“What do you mean by that?” Davina was so confused as to why the two youngest originals were laughing at something so serious. “You’ll meet them soon, I just texted them to come here” Rebekah smiled looking at her phone ignoring the gasps from the mystic freaks.
Hayley had just come into the room with baby Hope in her arms “can you keep it down I’m trying to put Hope to sleep” she bounced Hope gently as she was fussing at Hayley. A giant gust of wind blew into the room as a blonde and brunette came into the room with blood on their arms and torsos.
Caroline saw Hope and wanted to grab her but her hands were covered in blood, Klaus noticed her not-so-clean hands and flashed her a wet paper towel. She blushed at him being all soft around her, she kissed his cheek before wiping her hands off.
Walking towards Hayley she reaches her arms out to the fussy toddler, Hope looks at her and leans over in her arms. She gently rocked Hope while humming a song softly, Hope started to doze off before fully falling asleep on Caroline’s shoulder. Everyone but hayley watched in awe as Caroline put the fussy baby in the bassinet that was in the corner of the room.
Before Putting her game face back on she whispered a spell so that Hope couldn’t hear anything that would happen in the living room. Turning back around she stalks towards Hayley with a deadly look in her eyes “Jackson said that he loved you” with a sinister smirk on her face as Hayley’s eyes grew wide.
“Oh and before I forget!” She flashed out of the house to her car before bringing in a bloody duffle bag plopping it at Hayley’s feet. “Next time think twice before you cross me!” She flipped her hair and walked over to Bonnie who had a smirk on her face. Hayley bent down and slowly unzipped the bag, gasping as tears ran down her cheeks.
Everyone was wondering what was in the duffle bag, kol decided to see for himself what it was that made her cry. He walked over to the bag and looked down at the head of Tyler Lockwood, he tried hard to not laugh but couldn’t hold it in much longer. Bursting into laughter while looking at Caroline.
“What did he do?” He gasped in between breaths from laughing so hard, Caroline smirked ignoring the sobbing coming from the she-wolf. “Little miss she-wolf and Tyler were sleeping together, so not only did we kill his pack but also Hayley’s,” Bonnie said nonchalantly as she walked over to the couch to sit down.
Klaus wanted to see the head for himself so he got up and opened the bag to see it was truly Tyler’s head in the bag. Elena was shocked and pissed at both Bonnie and Caroline “what's gotten into you two?” She shouted while standing up along with Damon, Caroline and Bonnie looked pissed off.
“Elena if you speak again and nobody addresses you…” caroline paused as she flashed in front of Elena, she leaned into her ear before whispering “ I will tear out your spine and make Damon wear it as a necklace!” it was so sinister that i sent chills down the blonde in the corner of the room's spine.
Caroline turned away to a kol who had his hand up to high fived. Caroline gave a fake smile and went to sit beside Bonnie who was getting tired of being there. Kol put his hand down before flashing beside bonnie, he pulled her close to him as she tried to get away but his hold was definite.
Bonnie giggled when tried to tickle her, she was ticklish near her side and kol was using that against her. Davina was staring at the smiling couple with envy, she had gotten closer to kol but every time she asked him on a date he rejected her. Always saying that he values his life and that his feisty witch would kill him.
Caroline had secretly sent a message to her favorite doppelganger about elijah and hayley being together. Letting a smirk fall upon her sweet evil face, hearing a certain set of stilettos on the concrete she gave bonnie a smirk before smiling wickedly. Davina is about to say something to bonnie about her and kol, but the doorbell rang.
Hayley got up to answer the door, just as planned she opens the door slowly. Katherine has her head down before smelling the she-wolf, hayley looks at her with a raised brow. Before she could say anything Katherine's hand was plunged into her chest.
Hayley gasped as she gripped Katherine's hand trying to get her to release her grip on her heart. Katherine smirks before pulling her closer towards her ear “Trick or Treat doggy!” she yanks Hayley's heart out of her chest.
Letting her body fall to the ground with a loud thud, walking over her body and into the house with Hayley's heart still in her hand. Coming into the living room looking at everyone, some had wide eyes, some with opened mouths, but two looks that made her smile.
“Kitty kat nice of you to join us!” bonnie was being cheeky towards her new favorite doppelganger as caroline smiled brightly at the heart still resting in her perfectly manicured hands. “Well you know I couldn’t resist a good Halloween prank!” she threw the heart towards the ground.
Walking towards the bar she grabbed herself a drink before sitting in the corner of the room silently observing. Camille went to sit beside klaus, basically sitting on his lap, trying to show the other blonde that he was hers.
Caroline and bonnie rolled their eyes, caroline knew if she wanted to have him all she had to say was that she was ready to stand by his side. Davina was watching kol as he was fittling with bonnies fingers while she wasn’t paying attention to him.
Getting irritated she walks over towards bonnie “who do you think you are?You can’t just come in here like you own him!” jealousy filled her vocals as she was staring at the pair sitting on the couch. Bonnie laughed as did kol, looking at her like she was crazy.
Bonnie stood up as kol was still holding her hand “I don’t have to own him, Davina! I just have to be better than you, which i already am!” smirking at her facial expression before sitting back down and spelling her mouth to stay shut.
Klaus was uncomfortable as camille was rubbing his head and shoulders, while she nearly grinded on him. He was looking at anyone for help, that is until his eyes landed on caroline who flashed towards camille. “If your trying to make him hard for you, your failing! Now move he’s clearly uncomfortable!”
Caroline pulled her up by her arms before pushing her away from a now relieved klaus, camille scoffed as she looked between caroline and bonnie. “You two are pathetic, using the mikaelsons men as pawns! Your both just greedy for attention, especially you Bonnie!”
Caroline was now clenching her fist as the lights started to flicker “ What mommy and daddy never loved you enough so you go after kol for attention?” bonnie had tears in her eyes as she looked at kol before scooting away from him.
Kol growled at camille before pulling her back towards him, she fought but in the end he won, sinking his head in the side of her neck inhaling her sweet maple glaze scent. Camiile scoffed again “look at you so needy!” she laughed at bonnie as she looked at the others to see if they would join in on the laugh.
Nobody else laughed because before they could blink camilles head was ripped off of her shoulders as he body hit the ground. Looking at her body then the person standing over her they watched as caroline was seething angrily through her teeth looking at the now dead blonde.
A series of gasps filled the room, elena was staring at caroline as her shoulders were moving up and down heavily while still holding the blondes head in her grip. Caroline finally dropped her head as klaus got up and came behind her “come on love, lets get you cleaned up”
Caroline looked at bonnie who gave her a nod saying that she was safe with kol, looking back at klaus who had both of her wrists in his hand she nods. They both walk out of the room and flash up towards his bedroom.
Klaus let her shower in his bathroom before giving her one of his shirts and some of rebekahs leggings, “welp looks like your gonna have to find a new blonde!” she joked while they walked down the stairs, he looked at her with a raised brow before stopping at the middle of the steps.
“ you know that ive only always wanted you sweetheart.” he moved some hair out of her face as she blushed “well i guess you can show me New Orleans now!” she smirked before heading down the stairs. Klaus chuckled before following her.
Looking at the living room a lot of people were missing, but klaus, kol, bonnie, caroline, rebekah, stefan, katherine, and elijah. “We should watch a scary movie” caroline said cheerly at rebekah who beamed and flashed off to get the movies.
Katherine sat beside elijah who didn’t scoot or move but wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer, stefan and rebekah sat together as she leaned her head on his shoulder, klaus and caroline leaned onto each other, and kol and bonnie snuggled up as they watched jason.
It was a Great Heretic Halloween Of Course.
